Airtel Digital TV — Please help me sir
Dear Sir,I have deposited 2650/- in my airtel digital TV account as advance payment for one year package but today my connection disconnected by saying that I have no balance in my account. Please help me sir

Airtel Digital TV — non installation of Airtel Digital TV
I had applied for a new Airtel Digital TV connection. I made the payment on 21-Jun-2011. Till 29-Jun-2011 Airtel Digital TV has not bothered to install the equipment at my home. On calling the call center they ask irrelevant questions and say, "we shall call back". They never call back and no one comes for installation. They also will not register a complaint!!Airtel Digital TV — No response on complaint of erratic functioning of airtel digital
It is to inform that my AIRTEL digital stops functioning often. when we complaint in their customer care they make us hold on the phone for 14 , 15 minutes and then the problem is not even resolved. 15 days ago we had complaint that there is some installation problem error which is given on the TV and its not working.They said that they will send an engineer. when he came after complaining 4 times, he told us that the satellite of Airtel has changed so now it has changed to SM2 where they have some new channels. he rotated the dish plate many times but it wasn't resolved. I said we don't want any new channel , and just give us the SM1 back as it was. he called the customer care and told them to do it. It was set back to SM1 and for that he charged us rs100. We told him that there is no money charged for the first one year, but he said its only for the first 6 months. So we paid him. Now again the same problem is there, they have again changed the signal to SM1.We have complained 4 times, for the first 3 times they said to keep our tv switched on for 30 minutes and they would resolve the problem. But it didnt happen then the fourth time they said they will send an engineer the next day. What I wan't to complaint is that even though we don't want any new channels but they change our satellite signals and they take 100 rs for resolving it. We have already given money even though it was their problem and now we have to do it again just because they changed it even after we gave the money. Please look into this matter as soon as possible. it is a very bad service provided by. We should be returned our money which they had taken inappropriately and the problem should be resolved.
I want to ask whether this is correct and legal to ask for money to provide the customer the service and that too when they are changing the signal themselves all the time, and that too when we have already paid for solving a problem that airtel is creating by itself by changing the direction of their satellite. thank you

Airtel Digital TV — unauthorised deductions
Sir/Madam,I am having airtel digital tv (dth service) connection. On 30th JUNE 2011 Rs.66.14 was deducted from my account for activating a channel (TEN).
I don`t know how they activated the channel and deducted Rs.66.14 from my account.

Airtel Digital TV — Ridiculously bad service for airtel DTH.
Hi,I have raised so many requests regarding the installation of DTH after i have shifted my house but nobody from Ct care seem to work.They are all just taking the query on phone and giving a req number.And then nothing happens.And i get message that the issue has been resolved.

Airtel Digital TV — Wrong Deduction of Amount regarding change of set top box
My set top box was changed on 27.04.2011 with a warranty of three months and rs. 350 was deducted from my account. it again stopped working in the month of june and again changed. finally it was replaced on 02.07.2011 and an amount of Rs. 350 has been deducted again from my account, irrespective of warranty period as period is less than three months. i have called customer care so many times but all in vain. A senior lady Ms. Parvati assured me to refund my deducted amount but it did not happen. now i am continuously receiving messages regarding dissconnection of my digital Tv.it is requested to take serious action against the company responsible for my inconvenience and providing me bad quality set top boxes which did not last for at least three months.

I was gifted the 999rs gift voucher and I curse the gift.
I have tried calling their stupid customer care department for last 15 days
and nobody knows the right thing. they all give different version of story

Dont buy AIRtel DTH..and please never gift it to anyone

i had activated economy sports package for 3 months . in that package channel no 225, 226, 227 was already included but that was not coming on my tv screen . from the evening of 21/7/2011 to 23/7/2011 i called in customer care executive more than 75 times and they were not giving any responcible answer. they was telling that we are doing some change in your account so please keep on your set up box for 30 minutes your problem will be solved . result was zero. finally they registerd my complain on 24/7/2011 . my complain number was 10273819..happy code was 749 .. query call number was [protected]...and solution time was 3.30 pm ..nothing happened...then i went in service center there they told that its company fault .. again i called and again they registered my complain and forwarded it result was same...zero
then on the night of 24/7/2011... on 9:25 pm i add that channel again after paying Rs 100 from my account . i paid Rs 100 for that channel which was already in my package...
then i asked AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE how to complain about customer care executive thry told that your 100 rupees will be given back in your account within 24 hours but they didnt told me how to make a complain ... always yhey told that he is transfering my call to seniour so hold on line .. five times near about 40 minutes i holded my line and then they disconnected my call...
so i want a complain against this company and customer care executive

I AM A UNSATISFIED AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CUSTOMER.
SINCE NOON I AM FACING THE ERROR CODE NO SM1 AND SM 2.
I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE AND COMPLAINED REGARDING THE SAME. THEY SAID THE PROBLEM WOULD BE SOLVED WITH 1//2 HR. SO I WAITED. THE CHANNELS CAME FOR ABT 5 MINS THEN IT AGAIN WENT OFF AND SHOWED ERROR CODE NO SM2. SO I HAD TO AGAIN CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE. THE CONFIRMED ME THAT THE PROBLEM WOULD BE SOLVED WITH 1/2 HR AS THERE IS SOME PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SATELLITE. BUT IT DIDNT COME. AGIN I HAD TO CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE. THEY SAID THEY ARE UPDATED SO I HAD TO WAIT FOR AN HR.AGAIN AFTER 4 HRS I CALLED THEY SAID THE SAME THING TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER I HR. THEN AGAIN I CALLED THEM THEY SAID THE PROBLEM WOULD B SOLVED WITH AN HR, BUT IT DIDNT. SO I HAD TO CALL AGAIN. THIS TIME THEY SAID THE SAME THING THE SERVER IS DOWN SO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE ONE HR.
SINCE NOON TILL MIDNIGHT I AM TRYING TO FIX THIS BUT I COULDNT.
MANY A TIMES THERE IS SIGNAL FAILURE DUE TO SATELLITE PROBLEMS AND A AM UNABLE TO VIEW THE CHANNEL.IF THERE IS A SATELLITE PROBLEM THEN WHY WILL THE CONSUMER HAVE TO PAY FOR IF. THEY DONT GIVE US CREDIT FOR THE DEFAULT DAY. THEY CUT OUR BALANCES. TODAY I AM HELPLESS AND CANNOT EVEN WATCH THE INDIA VS ENGLAND MATCH AS WELL AS COPA AMERICA FINALS ON A SUNDAY.

Airtel Digital TV — no installation
this is the 4th time im writing an email,7th times i call you guys and spoke to your managers there has been no installation by you people and there is no response and i got to say your service is the worst if you people want to contact me my number is [protected] the name is MANAN MITTAL and id is [protected] the last time i wrote a email you people spoke to me and said you people will install it but there is not installation.i think i need to go to the consumer court only then you people will install.it has be 4 months since i have applied for an installation and you people confirm the time and date and there is no installation.Airtel Digital TV — Airtel Set Top Box under warranty not working and asking money for replace
I am using Airtel DTH HD Set top box from July 2010. From May 27'th 2011 Sound is not comming for all channels. Complained on the same date and Engineer from airtel visited to my home and said "Set Top Box" Problem, will be replaced once stock available. On May 27'th the day I complained "Set Top Box" is under warrenty. I am keep on checking for avaiablity of "Set Top Box" with airtel every 15days. They always say stock is not available. On 30'th July they came with new "Set Top Box" for replacement. Now they are saying my warrenty expired in 7th July I need to pay Charges for "Set Top Box".Really I am cheated by Airtel. Even though I am eligible for warrenty when I complained, because of their delay now I am suffering. I dont understand which law says this?

airtel dish — channels are not coming
sir this is to inform u we r having the facility of airtel dish . our airtel id is [protected] the channels r not cming.since two days i am calling the customer care deptt. but there is not any responce from there side . moreover the telle callers sitting there disconnect the call in between which is 2 bad. airtel is such a good brand. if they r not providing us gud services then its of no use . i request u to pls resolve our issue as early as possible. thanks for ur kind concernwith regards

Don't go by the brand name, unless you really know the level of the service provided by the company.
I have a Airtel DTH connection with Customer id :-[protected]. From the very day of installation the set top box has some problem and the reception of signal is very poor. Regularly from that day I'm complaining in the customer care number given on the box, every time I complain, I got a complaint number so also a happy share code to share with the engineer after service is provided. After the complaint is lodged, I always got a call from the local engineer to understand what the problem is, after 30mins of the conversation, I got a SMS from AIRTEL informing me that my complaint is resolved.
Till today I'm not able to understand how the customer complaint process is managed at Airtel and without doing anything how the complaints are resolved. After every episode like this, I called the customer care centre to inform that the complaint is yet to be resolved, then the call centre agent becomes very apolegetic without knowing what to do and what to reply to me and I was left wondering how to get the problem sorted out.
Even I tried to contact the Airtel HO, but to my surprise, the call of mine got transferred from one desk to other for 30mins and by the time I realised that I'm unnecessary wasting my airtime, I get it disconnected, without getting any response,
For GOD's sake can any one let me know what to do with the Airtel service and how to resolve the issue.
My sincere advice to all " Don't go for AIRTEL DTH service" another sincere advice to AIRTEL, don't kill the brand with such poor service, you will not realise this as at this point, as the company is doing well, but honeymoon never lasts for long if you don't care for your partners" I'm seeing the obvious future of AIRTEL.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — UNwanted SMS since more than one year
I had never been a subscriber to Airtel Digital TV and I never had any account No. [protected].Though almost every day I get SMS to renew it non stop since one year on my mobile No[protected]
I have complained several times but every time sweet promises and nothing has been done so far.
I am fedup with this company.
Please guide me how to file a law suite against this company. I have very long record of conversation by email. please help me to fight with this nonsense company. This is a huge nuisense.
