AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — AirTel Digital TV video problem never resolved
I have complained regarding video problem (in my digital TV) to AirTel customer care on 4th, May 2011. My complain no is 7644983. The costumer care executive told me that their technician will call me soon, I never get any call but I got one sms on my cell next day that my problem has been resolved ( Without doing anything ). But the fact is my problem never get resolved.on 6th May, I got call from their customer care department regarding my complain I told them that my problem is not resolved yet so the again enter new complain in their system with new complain no: 7726359 and I got one more surprise… Next day I receive one more sms on my cell that my complain has been resolved.
I am trying to contact their customer care executive almost everyday but no one is responding.
Each time I call them, They are registering my complain with new complain no and after some time I receive SMS on my cell (against the new complain no) that my problem has been resolved.
I am not able to see any channel on my AirTel digital TV till now. This is the 7th day I am not able to see anything on my TV :(

Airtel DTH — Money charged for additional set top box but never delivered
My customer id :[protected]I had bought a additional set top box by paying the payment via ivr transation id on 6/5/2011:14942611
I was told that the new settop box will be installed within 24 hrs and there will be no charge for the cable or anything.
It has been 4 days and i have called to multiple ppl in airtel all they say is that they do not see my account updated with the second box even when i have paid and i have given them the transation ids.
I tried calling many times and when i asked for the supervisor most of the times i was put on hold and then call was disconnected.
No one has bothered to give a call back . Even sending mails do not help.
they have already charged 1000 rs from my credit card and now they say that there system does not show that i bought a new connection even when i am giving them transation id

I have ever seen compny like AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. it is worst in customer service. I made request to add new channels on 29th April and it should be completed within 5 working days but no responce. again i called on 8th May again they taken my request and assured that will be resolved in two days, but no use. again i called on 10th May and spoke one of supervisor and Mr.Singh, who assured me to resolve my problem by 11th afternoon. till now i have not received call nor sms.
Every time i call will attended by diffrent person and we need to start from first (REDDY VACHE MODALADE) and when i ask to transfer call to their higher officer they transfer but call will not attended by any body.
This is my last try and nothing happned i will simply throh my dish box.

This seems to be a joint fraud venture in association with Airtel DTH and Vriti. I had the same experience while I was in hyderabad. I gave my contact details and other stuff on Airtel DTH Site and not sure how these details got leaked to Vriti people. They called me..sent a link for online payment.But I had a doubt when I saw the name of person as Brajesh.[protected]@vritiinteractive.com. How can a person who is selling Airtel product has an email id ending with domain name : vriti.com and not airtel.com.
Mr Brajesh kumar have me lot of explanations on this...saying they are 3rd party vendors for airtel. etc etc.
I called Airtel DTH Customer care in Hyd, and they straightaway denied their links with Vriti. When I asked that how does data from Airtel site flows to Vriti people, they did not have any answer nor they paid any heed to escalate it to higher management. By this time I learnt after googling that Vriti is all related to online fraud and Airtel is well aware of it. So I called the Vriti guy to pay money in cash...and when that guy came to my office, I had already informed Hyd Cyber Crime Cell about their fraud...and FIR was lodged...then not sure what they did with Vriti guys..But I am atleast happy that I screwed them without paying any money...Yeppieeee

I am facing a similar issue with my airtel digital TV remote.

We are having Air Tel Dish T V connection. I renewed with Rs. 500/- one and half month back.From 25.4.2011 it not connecting and showing Error Code -6. Fron that day we are giving complaints every day but no body respond and the customer care people told there is no local office in Andhra Pradesh by Mr.Rajesh. It is very funny and ashamed of Air Tel. Our Address. C.Ramesh Flat No 101, V.N.Reddy residency, Srinagar colony, Hyderabad. If you are having any office in Hyderabad please send your person for rectification.

this is the worst customer service i ever came across. the customer care executives (CCE) are so irresponsible and ignorant nobody knows what they are for. they are inadequately trained for their jobs. i was using ADTV lucknow.complain to custmer care signal was not found customer care executive give anser air presser and due to rain signal not collect.surprised that statment.

My Airtel Digital TV is not working for the past 25 days and repeated complaints have not seen a single response. The Call Center attenders and the Area Service Manager, Chennai has only use unparliamentary words to make you sleeplessness. The Managing Director even has no responsibility and courtesy to respond our complaints escalated to him. I have already paid a ton of rupees and through this I request all not fall in their trap. They meant for cheating us.

Airtel DTH — Top up channel not getting added after 15 days
I had raised a request for adding two channels to my existing package on 7th May[protected].I was told that the service technician would contact me in 5 days and will come and do the dish re-alignment for the new channels. As I did not get any calls after 5 days,I contacted customer care.They told me that there were no details present and I raised another request with all the details on 12th May[protected]. I was again told that I have to wait for 5days and will be getting a call from the service technician.On 15th May, I got a message stating that the ticket has been resolved.I did not get any calls,no one came for dish realignment. I again raised a complaint with customer care.They again raised a request[protected] and said it will be getting resolved in 2 days.Yesterday, I got a message saying that the ticket is resolved. I still am not getting the channels and no service person has come over to do the dish re alignment.It's 17 days since I raised a request for adding two channels for the existing package and still there is no resolution.I obtained the number of the service technician([protected]) and tried contacting him from my end, but nobody answers the call.I am seriously not knowing what to do. Besides wastage of my time and effort, I am not seeing any results.I seriously don't know if there are any escalations happening and how it is being handled in Airtel DTH service.But whatever is happening over there, is not at all suitable for a company of Airtel's stature.
