I recharged by Rs. 1448.00 on 26/12/2011 at about 17.30 Hrs.under the scheme of " Pay for 6 months & get one month free" from your registered dealer at Chadni Chawk area. My hand set no. is[protected]. But it is unfortunate to say that till now my service is showing 'Please Recharge' and after that, service is going off. It is also needed to mention that till now I have not received any phone massage from your end, which I used to get.

    mera no band kar diya hai because not submited my documents.ab maine jab sabhi document airtel office(near awadh hospital kanpur road alambagh lucknow) submit kar diya hai to bhi number activate nahi kar rahe hai. 7 days ho gaye roj kal- 2 kehte hai.
    it is heartly requested to you please do something against airtel india.

      I got message on 21st Dec.from 50000 regarding torrot card with diducting Rs 3 per day. let me inform you that I never request this service.On the contrary I had already registered for do not disturb service. At present I am in Nigeria and unable to dial the given no.I request you to stop this service and refund money or I WILL STOP AIRTEL service and will change the service provider.I would like to inform you that I had stopped TATA DOCOMO service for the same reason.

        I am Kalidoss Palanisamy from Chennai. On 8/12/ 2011 one of your representative named Mr.JAFFER ( CELL: [protected]) came to my home for new airtel broadband connection.

        I made a cash payment of Rs.1000.

        Till date I have not received the details of any connection to my home or my money back. My Customer Enrollment Form number is CH 1252296. and my complaint number is 8883714.

        I have not received any proper response from you people. I would like to get my money back and reasons for the delay. You people are behaving very worst I never expected such a poor

        customer service. I am going to lodge a case in consumer court for the mental pressure you have given to retrieve my money back. Your representative Mr.Jaffer is not even picking my calls.

        I gave my Driving License to him when came to made a connection. He has not returned my license yet. I am going to file a complaint and I need a proper and adequate compensation for the

        mental torture you people have given me in the last one month.

          I have been a subscriber of airtel broadband for three years and I have been suffering from link failure issues since past 2 years and in-spite of repeated complaint they are unable to solve the issue and now this has become completely unbearable and I am feeling cheated as a consumer. As they are leveraging their position as the market leader in this segment. I hope the necessary action will be taken against Airtel.

            I have Airtel 3G dongle with Rs750/- plan to download 5GB.

            On 17th Dec I noticed that internet speed is only 20kbps. When I called technical support they mentioned that I have exceeded the limit and hence I am getting 2g speed and it's not mentioned and shared with me earlier.

            After I made the full payment on 23rd (based on billing cycle) still speed is same. I called technical support again and the technical support person mentioned that they will have someone call me within 48Hrs. however, none called me. After 48hrs, I called technical support again to enquire the status and I got to know that this issue will be address only by 30th Dec. I requested to speak to floor supervisor and technical person mentioned that he will say the same sentence nothing different. So why the hell he called as supervisor if he can't provide any further assistance what support person is providing?

            I spoke to Mr. Suresh (Floor Supervisor) and I explained the issue. Mr. Suresh mentioned that backend team doesn't work over the weekends hence, I have to wait. He also shared some big commitments that I will receive call before 5PM on 26th Dec and when I forced for 12 he agreed. I told him that I am sure none from airtel will call and none called.

            I called on 26th Dec 2011 about 6PM and spoke to escalation engineer. Based on the engineer the issue is a common issue and other customers are also facing the same issue for last 2 weeks. Hence they are upgrading the 3g services and that which will be over by 27th Dec evening and till that time it will be in 2g service. When I asked, why there were no SMS or email he kept quite. Based on my request he transferred my call to another floor supervisor and he mentioned that my billing cycle and activation dates don't match. My billing cycle is 19th of every month and activation date is 8th of Nov. Hence, I will have to manage with this speed till 8th Jan and then I will get the 3g speed. When I asked him about the network upgrade he mentioned it's already finished. So escalation engineer was just a title or he really knows and understands the facts!!!!! Supervisor mentioned that he can request backend team to change so that billing cycle and activation date can be matched to avoid this issue. However, that can't be done soon. This process can only be taken in morning as backend team will be only available on 27th Dec morning not evening. On top of that, he was asking me, if I am interested to upgrade my plan. I am not sure, how didn't feel ashamed of asking this question!

            I am not sure, how AIRTEL Call this nonsense thing as support where escalation engineers are not aware about the upgrade plan of 3g services or simply he was lying, engineers can say that floor supervisor will repeated what he said and most importantly the backend team only works 9 to 6 on weekdays no matter how important that issue might be. I think this should be called as a joke then a support.

              I'm vivek and I'd like you to know that we had been having this airtel broadband connection for a couple of years and then we had changed the connection(shifted to another plan) as we shifted to a new place. And there was this Airtel guy who had come to our house for changing the connection and using the same old modem we had been given the new connection on that same modem. And we were told by that guy to send some code onto some number to terminate the old connection as we were five o[censored]s,someone amongst us had sent the message which i'm not sure about, but we did'nt get the confirmation message. And thereafter following months we started recieving messages stating that your outstanding amount is Rs 3400 and so on..., and summing them together on 23/12/11 we recieved an e-mail saying due to the nonpayment of dues for past four months your outstanding amount is Rs10488 and We must now tell you that we expect payment to be made on or before 26/12/2011. If payment is not received immediately we will pass the matter to our solicitors with instructions to commence legal proceedings. This will be done without further warning to you. So we spoke to the manager on this matter and he responded by saying though there has been no data usage and that the previous connection has not been in use you guys have to pay the amount since its in the norms of the company that the connection not terminated keeps the billing going on.(so had we been given proper instructions on moving to new plan through a proper procedure and guidance this blunder wouldn't have happened).So due to their negligence and miscommunication we had to pay a heavy amount of RS 10488.So I want you to do something about this injustice done to us and help us fight against it and if proved correct get our money back.
              we need a proper adjudicator to handle our grievances.

                My airtel broadband connection got disconnected and the Customer Service told that it is because the customer asked for it. I explained that I'm the customer and did not request it, they denied. I asked to speak with the manager and was re-directed to Ms.Saraswathi and explained the issue. She said that someone by the customer's name called and requested for the disconnection. When I questioned her about the security measures for such requests, she said that a confirm call would be made to the customer before the disconnection process and that such a call was made to[protected] on my hubsand's mobile number. The only call that from Airtel that we received on that day was a call confirming the Billing name change that we had requested earlier. When I explained this, she said that she will audit that call and let me know the details. She called later and said that the request for disconnection was placed after the back-end support team had called my husband on that day and that they did not have any audit for that call. She was not willing to accept the mistake that they had made and instead said that she will escalate the issue. The broadband connection is being used in my office and because of this issue, we were not able to work for more than 3 hours and we also had to call Airtel customer care many times during this. Our work got affected because of this and we ended up apologizing to our client for the delay in the work. Finally Airtel activated the connection, but still it was not working. Ms.Saraswathi asked us to check after sometime and call back customer care if it doesn't work. My husband asked them to call us back and follow up with the issue, since it is difficult to call the customer care each time and explain the issue every time, but she simply refused and when we persisted, she simply disconnected the call. If a manager behaves in such a way, to whom should one escalate the issue. We are still waiting for a call from the department to which she had escalated the issue. Such bad service and customer care support unreasonable. We have already started looking for another broadband service provider, but the stress caused by Airtel in unforgettable.

                Please look into this issue and help us.

                    Respected Sir/Madam,

                    I Shirsendu Sarkar compel by the circumstances raised due to unacceptable activities by the Airtel DTH Service as far as recharge issue is concerned. Actually, on 15th Dec.2011, I have recharged amount of Rs.106/- through online and as per bellow screen shot, it clearly indicates that my current balance is Rs.96.71/-. For your kind information, I have previous deficit amount Rs.9.29/- and as per rules the amount has been deducted from my recharge amount.

                    Now, the trouble has been raised. As per Airtel DTH the minimum balance threshold is Rs.100/- and maintaining the guidelines I have recharged of Rs.106/- but after recharging I am being continuously denied by them to view any channel till now what I have to deserve and now, and now concerned authority responded the minimum recharge value is amount of Rs.150/-.

                    My questions, regarding the recharge issue, if any amendment has been taken place as far as minimum threshold is concerned, why it was not inform customers through email or sms. Even no phone call was made from service provider regarding the minimum threshold has been changed. More important thing when, I have taken initiatives to recharge through online amount of Rs.106/ then why it has been stopped quoting that minimum threshold is Rs.150/ so Rs. 106/- has not been accepted and please recharge it again to maintain minimum threshold.

                    It indicates clearly that the airtel digital tv authority deliberately did it to harass customer in this fashion & truly speaking I am being severely troubled & quite upset & disappointed. It is a burning example of cheating with consumers by respective service providers.

                    Henceforth, I am submitting my earnest request to you that ongoing my above statement, you will be kind enough to take corrective measures with priority measures and ensure me that either I shall be able to view the channels for what I have recharged amount of Rs.106/- or arrange refunding the amount of Rs 96 .71/(existing balance). My last word if the atrocities of the Airtel DTH continuously going on then I hardly have any option but to quit from this service and will join with another DTH service provider.

                    Thanking you & view my personal details bellow AS WELL AS THE BANK STATEMENT OF PAYMENT MADE but neither refund the amount yet nor providing the view facility.

                    AIRTEL DTH CRAP AND CHEAT — AIRTEL FRAUD

                    this complaint is against the airtel dth service.... the settop box has lot of issues
                    every month I re-charge on or before due date...but for some strange reasons, airtel want to disrupt my viewing experience!!!
                    before 2 weeks from due date to recharge ,I start getting messages which blocks the screen every 5-10 mins,which says my balance the message appears on my screen which blocks viewing
                    "get rs 15 on recharge of rs 315 " !!!!
                    I dont understand if airtel calls this reminder?? I get this messg even when I recharge!!
                    but my question is y airtel is using my tv screen to advertise??? airtel is legally liable to pay
                    me fine !! ! they can only do thru messages!! I want to highlight that airtel
                    dth box is defective and they are not giving any support for the same!!!
                    I hv tried calling customer care and mails but no response!!!
                    defective product and not providing service !!!

                    airtel has not done anything for 15 days and my service is blocked and my balance is getting into negative daily without service!!! AIRTEL IS PLAYING WITH CUSTOMERS ,EVERY TIME A NEW EXEC CALLS AND SAYS THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME BUT NOTHING HAPPENS OTHER THAN I RECIEVE A MAIL.......

                    AIRTEL LICENSE FOR DTH SHOULD BE CANCELLED BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MOST OF THEM ARE LIERS!!! THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH AND HANG THE PHONE WHEN REQUESTED TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH!!!
                    `have you gone mad.. why are you giving all your account information globally like full name, address, account number, date of birth. For such a small complaint Rs. 106 or change. you are getting into deep trouble. any one can take this info and make your life miserable. bank account details shud be kept secret.

                        I am a customer of Airtel Digital TV Customer ID [protected]
                        I have been duped by an airtel employee on 16th and again on 18th December he introduced himself as Nitin an employee of airtel digitel tv from Luncknow he called me on my phone No.[protected] by his telephone No.[protected] and asked me to recharge on line for Rs.200 I was in Patna so I did recharge again he called me on 18th Dec and asked me recharge more for Rs.390 so he can put my account on safe custody for six months I did recharged but he has given only telephonic assurance to put on safe custody since then I am calling him daily but he has the same answer that I have done but still I am loosing my balance amount on airtel TV
                        I had sent a mail to digital [protected]@airtel.in they revered me back that I will be done soon but still theyare deduction my amount from the recharge value of 200+390 rupees

                        Kindly help me to get rid of this digital TV

                          As I started using data card from October 2010, I placed a request informing Airtel customer care for cancellation of Broadband connection which was in my name, account details as below, with final settlement of Rs. 469/- , according to monthly bill, on 09.11.2010 well before due date(Cancellation reference: 404167 Dt: 08.10.2010) the broadband details are

                          But from the month of Nov 2010, I still used to get monthly bill with following changes, details as below

                          Account: 13535694,
                          Bill No:[protected] Dt: 28.11.2010,
                          Landline: +[protected],
                          Address: No. 39, Gnd Floor, ITI Layout, RMV 2nd Stage, New BEL Road, Bengaluru – 560054.

                          What airtel has done is instead of cancellation they have retained my name with same account number & landline number but with different residence address. Again in the month of Dec 2010 on my own I informed Airtel about the error in their system and complaint was placed with Airtel customer care with complaint ref no: 41437870 Dt: 30.12.2010.
                          NOTHING HAPPENED.

                          Later I escalated it to Airtel nodal officer & Airtel Appellate Authority via email, email id was mentioned in airtel monthly bills. Email was acknowledged & was informed that within 72 hours this issue will be resolved (Complaint Ref No: 42831320 Dt: 08.02.2011).
                          NOTHING HAPPENED.

                          Now Airtel legal authority has filed a case against me in Gwalior High Court for nonpayment of overdue amount, which I never used, details as below Case No: LM 508,
                          Lawyer: Mr. Alok Sharma.

                          I came to about this case when Mr. Ranjit Singh from Gwalior High Court called me on my mobile to discuss about this case & told to come immediately to Gwalior High Court. Even today I am getting bills from Airtel & also call from Airtel legal dept from payment of overdue. I am literally fed up & after morethan a year I have decided to file a complaint against Airtel for following reasons,
                          Moving connection to third party retaining my account details & contacts, which is security concern for me,
                          Misleading customer by stating that within next 72 hour this issue will be resolved but nothing happened in last one year,
                          Harassment from Airtel legal dept by calling on my mobile number frequently, For putting black mark on my profile by filing a case against me in Gwalior High court.
                          I want airtel to give me apology letter and I want them to pay me compensation for all the harassment and cancel my connection immediately.

                          Results I'm looking for:
                          1.) First company should cancel the connection in my name
                          2.) Take back the case which is filed against me in Gwalior High Court
                          3.) Compensation which is equal to 12times the outstanding overdue amount for the harassment by airtel for the past twelve months
                          4.) Compensation morethan Rs. 10 lakhs for putting black mark on my profile by filing a legal case against me.

                          Latest email from collection team is attached for which I'm not responsible.
                          If required I can provide all required document along with correspondence & escalations i did do so far with Airtel.

                            I have been trying to stop matrimonial alerts for the last couple of months to no avail and now I get a message that "you have been renewed for GSR subscription service from airtel. you have been charged Rs. 30" I am not even aware what GSR service is .Kindly enlighten and unsubscribe unwarranted alerts .

                              My mobile number is [protected]. I have one paise per second offer with Airtel. I have been using this sim-card for 3 years now. About 4 months ago, in September 2011, I started receiving some jokes (one per day - exactly around 12.00 Noon) as SMS from Airtel. That was purely unintended. I didn't subscribe for them. But still I used to receive those messages.
                              Suddenly one day I found out that my balance which was supposed to be around 75/- has become 35/-. Alarmed by this, I decided to call the service centre and find out the reason. But somehow the very next day, I received an SMS asking me to type so-and-so number to stop receiving the Funny Jokes SMS (which I didn't subscribe in the first place) and to renew the expired service type some _____ number.
                              From that I understood that my balance was stolen by these so called funny messages. I obviously chose to stop receiving the jokes as they were very bad in the first place. Then again I renewed my balance and the stealing stopped. But only for a week or so.
                              Now it is even bad. I don't receive any messages/SMSs, but still I started losing my balance (at the rate of one rupee per day). This is very frustrating and the only time I don't lose any more money is when ever I have balance less than 1 Rupee. It is very depressing to know that we are being stolen so openly.

                              Same here! I brought Airtel Friends from Pune and it is giving me the same problem of Re.1 deduction everyday even though I dont have any services on...
                              Airtel sux!
                              Even the customer care isnt helpful... Its like they are looting me openly and I cant do anything about it! :(

                                I had applied for a new connection which was installed on 27th November 2011 with number [protected]. One Mr. Abhay Singh, Sr. Sales Executive of AMBA BPO.COM, AIRTEL's authorised direct sales associate called on us, filled the enrolment form and took Rs.500 in cash as advance payment.
                                On 13th December our phone was disconnected by AIRTEL saying my cheque had bounced, whereas we never had deposited any cheque rather the payment was in cash. Only possibility is Mr. Abhay Singh AIRTEL/AMBA BPO.COM's offcial having replaced cash with his cheque which bounced. During my fight for getting my connection restored Mr. Abhay Singh asked for another Rs 500 in cash for deposit with Airtel with the promise that earlier Rs.500 would be settled later.
                                I have written numerous mails to Airtel but till date AIRTEL has failed to address the following issues :
                                1. I have not heard any comments from AIRTELon wrongful DISCONNECTION of my phone for many days. I am entitled to compensation for wrongful disconnection.
                                2. I have not been given/returned the CHEQUE in question which AIRTEL claims I had submitted and had bounced. If it was my cheque then AIRTEL must return that to me since they have got their payment due from me in cash.
                                3. I have not been informed of the action AIRTEL was supposed to start against AMBA BPO.COM which is indulged in cheating and harassing customers in their name, as in the present case cheating and harassment happened to me.
                                4. As regards the money AMBA BPO.COM has got from me for restoration of the connection, I hope I will be able to recover from them once AIRTEL hands over the abovementioned bounced cheque to me.
                                5. If there is no such cheques which had bounced and AIRTEL staff had messed up the matter resulting in disconnection, an apology from AIRTEL side is due alongwith compensation for the days I was subjected to deficiency in service from.

                                    I disconnected my Landline in April 2010 and was assured that the security deposit of Rs 2000 will be refunded to me within 45 days. But later on follow up with the Airtel Customer Care Executives , I was informed that " as per our records their is no security deposite in your account" which is totally wrong as I have the original receipt which clearly indicates the security deposit made at the time of getting the Landline connection from Airtel.

                                    I have hard copies of the Receipts issued by your telephone company in lieu of the refundable 'Security and Registration' charges which I am claiming back. Airtel needs to check with their Accounts department for the original receipts of the agreement of the said landline no. rather than dig into the irrelevant digital records on their computer systems which are wiped clean as soon as a connection is terminated. I am sure that they are dilly-dallying the refund as it is a habit with Airtel company to use illicit tactics and generate vague alibi when it comes to the matters of refund.

                                    It has been now around 8 months since I have not received the security deposit after disconnecting my Landline phone.

                                    Sub- No response to my Application for Broad Band connection after collecting Rs.500/- as Security deposit

                                    Sir,
                                    Unfortunately I have applied for an Airtel broad band connection based on a call from your office informing me about some schemes of broad band connection. A lady called from your office informed me that there is a scheme for Advocates (400 Plan). I was trapped in the attractiveness of that plan and informed that I am interested in taking a broad band connection. The lady told me that she will send a representative to my office at panampily Nagar.

                                    Based on the above said telephonic conversation with your office one of your representative named ‘Anees’ came to my office during last week of July 2008 and again explained the attractiveness of Advocates plan. He gave me an application form for taking broad band connection and I gave him my photo and ID proof. He also collected an amount of Rs.500/- from me as Security deposit. When I insisted for a receipt for an amount of RS.500/- paid by me, he assured me that he will give it to me next day. When I asked him when I will get connection he told me that it will take 3 days.

                                    But so far no receipt has been given to me for the payment of Rs.500/-. After one week Anees again called me and informed that connection will be given soon. Thereafter there was no response from his part. Thereafter I called to airtel office and I talked to one ‘Joji’ in your office. He informed me that there is some problem in giving connection at Ayyappankavu and it will be OK within 3 days.

                                    Thereafter there was no response from your side. Then I went to Airtel office, Panamplilly Nagar and contacted Joji. He told me again that there is some problem at Ayyapankavu section and steps are taken to give connections. He was pleased to show me the details of my connection in the computer and also showed me the entry of Rs.500/- given by me as security deposit. He assured that connection will be given within 3 days.


                                    Till this date nothing is done in the matter. For the past one month you have simply kept my security deposit with you without giving me broad Band connection. As an Advocate I am well aware, what action should I take in all these matters. But still I request you to either give connection or to refund Rs.500/- given by me as security deposit.

                                    My airtel number of [protected]. I had paid security deposit of Rs 7250 for activating my international roaming facility. After my return from USA, I aporoached the Jamshedpur customer care and reuested for refund of the security deposit. Application for refund submitted on 8.9.2008. The customer care executive said itmay take appr 3 weeks to get the refund. I have still not recd.the refund. relevant money receipt number 011475 dt.14.7.08. Firstly it does not look fair to delay the refund by 3 weeks after request is made. Secondly, it is already 24 days.Kindly check and advise. B.Chandra Shekhar

                                    Airtel — give wrong information about security deposit

                                    i am parul chauhan and i take a connection from neelam communication authorised airtel outlet .they give me wrong information about security deposit .they told me security deposit refundable but some personal reason i want to surrender my no .customer care executive told me that 500 rs not refundable because this is activation charges.but the owner of this outlet take 500 rs as security deposit.i want back my security deposit.
                                    I cancelled my[protected]/[protected] in October
                                    Post cancellation it was promised that I will get the refund within 20 days.
                                    Almost after 45 days I call up Airtel to check the status, and Airtel representative without any respect tells me to contact the courier department to get the cheque. (Is this my job??)
                                    Without any reference number I cannot call, and reverted back to Airtel and matter was then escalated, this helped me in solving the issue and the cheque was sent after 2 months of cancellation date.
                                    Unfortunately I misplaced the cheque and searched for 10 days. Unable to find I called Airtel @ 121 to know the proceedings.
                                    Airtel Rep advised me to visit the office (Splendid Towers- Begumpet) and I did visit on Feb 18th 2010.
                                    As advised I called at 126 from the office and spoke to Airtel rep called Swathi or so. He confirmed that the cheque would be re-issued in 10 working days.
                                    I repeatedly asked if I need to submit any ID proof as such for which I was told “NO”.
                                    Waited until March and with no response I called Airtel again. The Customer care Rep is not even aware of the situation. Had to repeat the whole story again and was finally told to revisit the office.
                                    Annoyed with this I mailed Nodal Officer on April 3rd. And as expected, no response from Nodal Office
                                    Ashamed of myself being associated with Airtel I again went to Airtel office on April 7th and gave a request. Lady said this will be sent to you in 20 days
                                    Today I called Airtel again, as expected they have no clue/data or anything about April 7th. Spoke to escalation department lady (Fariha) and she herself is not aware of this
                                    No one has an answer on this.
                                    Hope Airtel is sensible enough to return the customers money

                                    After all bill payment i have put request for refund the deposite money which they are refunded me yet. I made atleast 20 calls to the call centre for refund but they avoided me by saying due to error it has been not sent to you. several time they have not given me the reference no. my most of complains but still i have few of complain numbers with month as of below: --

                                    After so many calls it is becoming harrassment for me to follow with airtel for my on money.

                                    Request you please take an emmediate action against the aitel to recover my refund & teach them lesson about serve the customer.

                                    I have applied for a data card sim for my I-pad. During the enquiry they did not inform me about the process of Verification and other details. I submitted my documents and in-lieu they took Rs. 250 /- as security deposit from me. I got few calls from their end for arranging verification meet at my place but it did not concluded. I did lot of follow ups but no such verification process happened. At last, I wrote mails to them stating that I do not want any sim connection from them but want my refund back of security deposit. Unfortunately nobody reverted and hence I had to file a consumer compliant.
                                    This is with reference regarding refund related issues on airtel fixedline connection bearing account number 15088643. Last Three months i am following on phone & mail, each and everything has been cleared and explained with airtel customer care team many times,

                                    From 16th Dec 16 line has been closed no incoming or outgoing call was used. 16th Dec 2016 we cleared and sent mail and called for disconnection. And cleared that after 16th Dec we will not pay any charge as lines were not working

                                    After that line was not disconnected long time was delaying from Airtel side that’s airtel customer care services fault, we never accepted to continue any other lines. Outstanding amount month of Dec 2016 we have already paid confirmed on mail also.

                                    I confirmed with them about outstanding amount charges, I was following for refundable security deposit Rs.1000/- got mail from Airtel side that there is no security deposit, Installation charges amount is not refundable, we know that very well installation amount can’t be reversed.

                                    At that time Airtel customer care were trying to make us fool, when I sent them proof copy of receipt bill at the time of connection after that they agreed for revers refundable security deposit, I also forwarded bank details. After 26th March 2017 till to date Airtel team is working on it still you have not reversed our amount Rs: 1000/- How it’s possible that security deposit can’t refund.

                                      I am using the airtel broadband service since 2007 in Mysore number[protected].
                                      In the month of October i gave request to shift the line to Bangalore as i had plans to move and got confirmation saying there is no service available or DB dose not exist. Since then i am asking and following up with customer care to re-activate the line in old address in Mysore #4660,3rd cross,rajaputh blk,shivaji main road,N.r.mohalla Mysore-07, i followed up to airtel office many time and till date no one had turned up so many complaints have been registered in customer care no resolution has been provide to me. Now they are coming to my home and making phones calls and harassing me to make the payment, i said ok even if the line was dead i will make the payment activate the line, even that they are not doing. Now because of Mysore airtel office i am defaulter and cant apply for new connection else. Kindly look at it and do the needful and reactivate the line under same traffie plan.

                                        Occurrence of events:
                                        1. Reported loss of Blackberry and deactivation of SIM / barring outgoing calls - Dec 05
                                        2. Request for duplicate SIM - Dec 10
                                        3. Spoke to Airtel CC to follow up on my request - Dec 12
                                        4. Duplicate SIM delivered to home address (submitted ID proof, Address proof, 1 passport size photo, authorization letter for dad to collect the SIM) - Dec 13
                                        5. Requested for SIM activation (as it was not yet activated, maximum time being 4 hours !!) and canceling my Blackberry Data plan - Dec 17
                                        - I was told it will be done within 48 hours.
                                        6. Called Airtel CC to follow up as it was not activated - Dec 19. I was told to go to nearest Airtel Relationship Center and submit documents again!
                                        7. Submitted ID proof, Address proof (as directed by Airtel CC) at Yelahanka ARC (they were rude and were not accepting at first, they finally accepted after repeated calls from me to Airtel CC and making them both talk to each other. I was told by Airtel CC that the card will be activated in 6 hours) - Dec 19
                                        8. Called Airtel CC to follow up for activation, was given 6 hours - Dec 20
                                        9. Called Airtel CC to follow up for activation, escalated to nodal manager over phone, was given 24 hours - Dec 21
                                        9. Called Airtel CC to follow up for activation, was given 48 hours again - Dec 22
                                        10. Called Airtel CC to follow up for activation (was told that Saturday and Sunday is non-working days for nodal agencies!), was given 24 hours - Dec 24

                                        My SIM is not yet active!!!!

                                        I have been an Airtel customer since 1999 (with multiple mobile phone connections, Broadband and landline connection, Blackberry connection, etc.) and am really annoyed and frustrated at the customer service! I am not sure what to do next, at this point, I am reviewing if I -
                                        1. should I wait to get the SIM activated?
                                        2. should I cancel all my airtel connections and move over to a new service provider?
                                        In any case, will need to wait and watch for the drama that will ensue on the Dec 2011 bill...
