Dear Sir,

I am working in Dubai and i have been using my mobile[protected] for last few years and have been charging at each interval to keep in active. on 2nd of december i checked my mobiel and it was working and used ezetop to charge my mobile. from 4th till 7 th i used the card extensively upto Rs. 1500/ was charged and used around rs 1000. i also spoke to customer care on 121 and 198 number of times and also they disconnected me calling to the cusotmer care and no one told me about any documents required.

on 7th i had rs. 500 around in the card and around 1100 am, while i was try making call it said that my card is barred for outgoing calls. I called using someone toher line and was informed that i had to submit my doucments and went to Airtel Udupi office to give the doucments. they were not ready to help me anyway and said that i have not used my card for 180 days hence the card has been deactivated. One of the x-staff helped me alittle and manager only listened to me as if nothing had happened and showed his inabliity to do anything as thestaff. i HAD MY passport and all required docments.

In the evening i send my passport copy by email and after 2 hours i recieved a confirmation that my card is active and the card was active. the email said my documents have been recieved and my card has been renewed.....

on 8th morning, the card was not working for both incoming and outgoing calls. I called the cusotmer care from 3 numbers and all teh number were barred to call 198 and 121.

I called [protected] and ohter numbers and spent more than 100 Rs to speak to them. i spoke to Mr. Anil and Mr.Ramesh and they said my card has been recyled becuaes it was not used for 180 days in last.

I have used the card and i have recharge from ezetop ...

kinldy request you to look into the matter urgently.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is Lakshminarayana reddy B N. i had airtel broadband connection with airtel Account Number: 16179607 & airtel Number: [protected].

    My connection is stopped working on september 11th 2011. i have raised the request to solve the issue. but the technical person who came for resolution said it cant be solved as the cables are damaged heavily.Hence i raised the request again in october for disconnection.airtel team took more than a month for disconnection and asking me to pay money for september(11th onwards), october, november months. i am really confused when i am not using the connection how bills are getting generated. These months i have not used the connection and the same informed to the customer care..

    Please note my connection is stopped working on 11th september 2011.I have raised request for connection not working with Request number : 3857868.
    Connection Cancellation request number raised: 5385124
    Request no for bills getting generated again and again for unused connection: 8506042.


    Even though i have requested for disconnection they kept billing machine alive so that bill is generated. i called more than 50 times to airtel customer care but they say we follow as system says (bill generating machine) and asking me to pay the bill.

    Daily i am getting the calls for paying the bill. is there no way that i can take some action without paying some bribe to officers?

    I request our indian government should take some action against such malpractices.

      HI Sir,

      This regarding recharge RC 37 to avail STD call 30P/Min. I have done a recharge with RC37 but my STD calls did not converted to 30P/Min. I have called Airtel customer care for the same they said to me it's for local not for STD. I told them I can avail the Adv paper that you have mentioned. Instead they are not ready to listen me. They forward to supervise but call is so badly managed I am not able to reach the person. After 2-3 retry they blocks the call. it's pathetic for a customer even if he pays there is no solution for the problem.

      Have attached the ad paper for the same.

      Why air tel customer care not reachable even a customer is paying for the call.

        I want to tell the problem of detect balance of my a/c.
        I tell the story in Detail.

        6 March 2011 - I switch in airtel from vodafone and recharge my a/c. from 399 rupees.
        10 March 2011 - I activite GPRS pack 50 MB Rs. 5/- Val- 1 day
        14 March 2011 - I again activite GPRS pack 50 MB Rs. 5/- Val- 1 day
        14 March 2011 My a/c. show 75 detection that time my moblie show 301 rupees. I do not know reason of detect balance. Dial cutomer care(121) but my phone is not conneted with customer representative.then I go our district office of airtel then I complain about all. complain no. is [protected]
        15 March 2011 again detect 10/- from my a/c or reason I don't know.
        I complain but same problem with cutomer care 121. then I file the complain from other airtel prepaid connection complain no. [protected]
        Till then NO action taken by airtel then I again go airtel office and complain the problem your customer representative said to me I cross the limit use of free MB(50 MB) i.e. your balance is detect. but Sir. I know very well I used only 9 MB internet on 14 March 2011 and arround 18-20 MB internet on 10 March 2011. Source- *123*10#
        Till Today No action taken by airtel No call received from airtel.

          Hi,

          This is regarding my airtel broadband connection issue. I had placed a request for shifting of my broadband connection. The request was placed on 12th of July 2011 for the number[protected]. The connection was shifted on 8th of August to my new address but it is not been active since.I am being billed for both the old and the new number for the past few months for a connection which is not even working.

          I want to mention that i have been a customer of airtel for more than 4 years and till this date i have had no issues with the customer service. But now if i am asked an opinion, i would definitely not vouch for the service you guys provide.

          Its been exactly 5 months that i have placed a request and not less than 50 times have i contacted customer care or tried to go to the airtel center and tried to resolve the issue, but none of them seem to take any interest. They say there is black out period which has happened with airtel. May i ask how long do you guys have a blackout period and how long it takes to take an issue as serious.

          I am tired of calling customer care now and waiting each time just to hear that the issue is being resolved or in an open status and some executive will revert back to me soon. None of them do revert back in reality.
          There have been times even when the executive has even hung up on me. I also tried to contact the nodal officer and emailed him about the issues (forwarded below) and i could not see any progress in that as well.

          I have reached a situation where in i have to take a decision on this, as this is been bothering me for too long now. It is unbelievable that Airtel doesn't have time to resolve my issue but has time to inform/call for promotional ads. Airtel has about 200 million customers across its operations and i guess i am not one of the valued customers in them.

          Please let me know if in case there is any resolution to my problem at all, though i have lost all the patience.
          Below are the details of the connection:

          Number which was shifted:[protected]
          (address: B251- Sobha Hibuscus, Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, Bellandur, Bangalore
          Number after shifting:[protected]
          (address: G-302, Keerthi Harmony, survey no. 3823283, Raghavendra Nagar, 4th Main road, Kalkeri, Bangalore
          Number again shifted to:[protected]current). I am able to receive calls in this number.

          In the middle of all this shifting the was a period when the connection was working but just for 2-3 days maximum. (during Oct 15-30)
          But it again got disconnected due to billing issues.The last update i had received from airtel is that the number[protected] is disconnected and the numbers[protected] and[protected] are active. Both the numbers are getting billed for. I have registered multiple complaints to the customer care regarding the same.
          I have personally gone to indiranagar branch twice in bangalore and tried to resolve the problem. The first time the manager incharge told me it would take 2 days to get this done. Almost after 2 months i went there again ( as i was not in town for some time) and asked for the manager, he refused to come out of his room to meet me.The last persion i was in contact was Jithin who sits out of the same branch.The first time i spoke to him, he assured me that i will get a call in 2 days with the solution and obviously i did not get any response. When i called him again after 2 days asking for a solution, he refused to give me any deadline. I am in no mood to call him again and finding out.

          Now i suppose you would have understood my problem. I am still expecting you guys might revert back with a real solution this time.
          I hope not to get disappointed again.

          Airtel — connection not working for last 5 months

          i was using landline connection from Airtel number-[protected] from last three years but from this jan 21, 2011 my number [protected] is not working and i have complained about it many times but it was all futile.

          We have registered complaint for at least 25 times,in past 5 months .... But there is no response from your company ...

          Last 2 complaint numbers -

          Complaint no[protected] on 16th may
          Complaint no[protected] on 30th may
          And my broadband connection is also not working properly installed on ([protected]).

          Due to the improper functioning of the internet connection and the faulty telephone line our business has suffered considerable amount of losses in the past 5 months . Despite of repeated complaints , no action has been taken from your end . Hence we have been forced to lodge a complain against your company in the court.

          And today (june 4, 2011) we received a call from a person called Ram from recovery department (number [protected]) and he started abusing regarding the outstanding amount which is totally unacceptable from india's leading private telecom operator.

          The phone was picked by my father it was a total mental harassment.

            Dear Sirs,

            I have suddenly received the following unsolicited message on my mobile

            "Thank you for using DUK. You will be charged Rs. 1 everyday. To stop service dial *789*407# - From 50000 message centre[protected]"

            This is ridiculous and unacceptable as I have not activated such a service. I do not even know who is DUK. I am sure there must be millions of other innocent users like me being charged for this nonsense. I have not been able to unsubscribe this service.
            I would appreciate if Airtel or the regulatory authorities look into this and assist me in unsubscribing this service today. Thanks

              I am a regular customer of yours from past 6-7 years. On around 27th of nov. i received a promotional call on my no. that if i convert it into airtel money i will get the discount @5% on bill amount & if i booked movie tickets i will get @50% cash back.

              As it is a attracting scheme i went to your airtel outlet on 30th of nov. around 7 pm but they said due to server down they are not able to issue me a new sim & told me to come tommorrow.
              Again on 1st of dec. i went there & gave rs.75 as sim conversion charges.They didnt issued me any cash receipt of rs.75.
              Next morning i.e. On 2nd of dec when i called customer care they said the scheme was closed on 1st of dec & as i would not be able to get any discount. Again i went to the airtel outlet on 2nd of dec & they said they didnt have any update regarding the closure of the scheme.
              And when i asked them before the issuance of the sim that would i get this discount under the scheme??
              they simply said "ufcose sir".

              As i only want my money back of rs75 or else d proper scheme of airtel money as i m not responsible for any updation of information to airtel outlet.
              I have also tried to contact your consumer greviance officer MR. MANISH BHARGAVA on [protected] but as i expected he didnt picked up the call.

              Now tell me what would i do to get my money back.

                Sir,
                I Amarjeet Singh R/O # 718 ,sec.80,mohali visited your airtel relationship office at phase 3B2 mohali (SAS nagar) at about 6:50 pm on 7.12.2011 for paying my airtel bill of mobile no. [protected], after paying the bill i contacted the staff for information about airtel HD digital TV for new connection. I am also a previous customer of airtel digital tv with customer ID [protected]. But I am very sorry to say that staff sitting in the airtel relationship centre gave me no information about HD DTH TV and said that they did'nt had any information about it and asked me to contact 12150.
                when I contacted the desk incharge Mr. Gurpreet Singh for the information, he also refused to say anything about it. when i asked "You have installed a dummy dish of airtel digital TV in airtel relationship centre and below its written (yahaan uplabadh hai)" means available here, then he loudly and aggressively spoke to me in public and said "Yeh to thekon par bhi likha hai , kya aapko wahaan par Digital TV ka connection milega " (this is also written on wine shops would you get it from there). When i asked him to give me complaint book he straightaway refused to give me the same.

                I am 8-9 years old customer of airtel with mobile nos. [protected] , [protected] , [protected], [protected] and a airtel Digital TV connection with ID [protected]. (presently all working )

                Airtel — Billing misconduct

                I made a payment of 326/- on 23-sept-2009 against my aug bill through Airtel website (Easy Pay option). I used my credit card for the payment. The payment was successful and the amount was debited from my account. After a month i got a call from airtel for making the payment (again). The payment that i made, was not reflecting in my airtel account. I lodged a complaint to verify my payment. Since October '09, I've been given several calls for paying the amount, several talks to the cust care, their managers. I've been helping Airtel to resolve this issue. I provided them whatever they asked - transaction number, date, amount, mode of payment, credit card bill copy, and even my CREDIT CARD NUMBER.
                Finally on 11-Feb-2010 Airtel responded that they cannot look into the details because there in no data in Airtel logs and I'm required to enquire my credit card bank to revert my money back to my account.
                Till then, I've been facing more than 10 times, my services being barred. And now they have disconnected my number.
                Scenario is that, Credit card bank has a max limit of 60 days (after transaction date) to enquire for any transaction, after that they cannot see details.

                Why am I, a customer, required to run around the payment that i made using Airtel website. If their website/application is not capable of taking the money, then there in not my fault. I'm using the services and making the payment on time.

                Airtel cannot give me the services back till the time i do not make those 326 Rs payment again, and CC bank cannot revert my money after 60 days of transaction.
                This delay is from Airtel only because of which i'm in this condition.

                Please suggest what to do?

                  In feb’11, i paid Rs.150/- with request of ESPN top up for which 99.99 was deducted.
                  My balance at this point should be Rs. 50/- as above (150 - 99.99) as confirmed by the statement available at Airtel site.
                  But in May/June’11 onward a negative balance msg started flashing at my TV screen, I enquired about that they said it may be because of airtel is deducting on daily basis for ESPN top-up.
                  Since, ESPN chennal was not available on my TV, why should I be charged for the same without any prior notice to me and further I requested airtel to immediately stop ESPN top-up in July'11 further.
                  In July’11 I have paid Rs.150/- with request of PARAS top up for which Rs. 5.60 was deducted.
                  After some time the negative balance MSG again started flashing, I again call Airtel customer care, they said your case is genuine, we will definitely re-solve the issue within 48 hours after that there will be no negative balance msg but matter was again unresolved.
                  Today, when my services suspended, I talk to your customer care @[protected], first call was cut by your executive without any reason. In second call my call was transferred to any senior executive, who said that your ESPN top up is still on and airtel is still deducting charges for this top-up on daily basis.

                  My pain is as follows:
                  1. Why Airtel is charging me for ESPN top up, when the same is not available on my TV
                  2. Worst thing is "when in june/july'11 I expressly requested to stop ESPN services, why these top-up is still on in your records only."
                  3. When you are charging for something from my account, why you are not showing these monthly deductions in my online account with airtel. How one would come to know that airtel is deducting some charges from his account.
                  4. give me the full statement showing complete deductions from my account.

                    I am S.Pugazhenthi. I'm living in Chennai. I planned to buy a new whirlpool refrigerator and whirlpool washing machine in Vivek's Home appliances in Annanagar East, before 2011 Diwali. Vivek's salesperson told me that Vivek along with Airtel Money SIM had launched a new 10% cash back offer. Because of this offer only I bought the refrigerator and washing machine in there. I bought two airtel money SIMs ([protected], [protected]) from Mr.K.Sirajul Malik (Contact No:[protected]) in Vivek's Showroom. I submitted all the required documents to him. I made the payment through airtel money SIM for that appliances. Needless to tell the refrigerator was delivered in worst condition, replaced twice that also not satisfactory. They told me the moneyback offer money will be credited within 10 days. After 10 days the money was not credited. Since I had a plan of buy another appliance with that offer, I called Vivek's person and inquired about the money not credited problem. They informed me that it is not their problem and I have to contact Mr.Sirajul Malik or some other airtel person. When I contacted Mr.Sirajul Malik he told me that the documents I submitted were not clear. So I submitted the documents once again. Within 3 days my Airtel money account was credited to Rs.2000 and Rs.1890 in two SIMs. After a week I went for the purchase to Vivek's showroom. During payment Airtel money could not be used as it gave me error messages only. When I contacted Mr. Sirajul Malik again he said he will correct the problem within 2 days. Bythen the SIMs was deactivated. After 2 days when I contacted, he once again asked for documents submission. So I again submitted the document and waited for the airtel money. Nearly after one month he told me everything was clear, but I have to submit the documents again to a nearby Airtel office. When I went to submit the document the person in Airtel office told me that our SIM has been deactivated and sent to recycle for non-submission of documents. There is no way of recurring the credit in Airtel Money SIM. The deactivation and recyclying has been done within 2 months of purchase of the SIM. If not for the cashback offer of Vivek's I would have bought it some other shop with 5% less price that Vivek's price. I'm now experiencing lot of stress by the combined cheating of Vivek's showroom and Airtel Money SIM card.

                    Airtel — Problem in deactivating SIM.

                    I lost my mobile today.

                    I called Airtel customer care to deactivate the SIM (Mobile# [protected]).

                    She asked the owner details and address, Since we took this connection around 2 years back so gave her the name correctly but address till street level.

                    Then she asked when did you recharged last, i told her the date and amount. She told that you have to tell the last recharge details of paper recharge not easy recharge. Then she told get the details and then call. How could i remember the last detail of paper recharge as from past more than 6-8 months i'm getting easy recharge.

                    Very rude behavior and seems they are sitting just to irritate and exploit consumers.
                    I agree with you. Some of the customer care representatives in Airtel look at customers as if we are liars and cheaters. Why would we have to cheat for a rupee? Airtel also has a history of harassing customers by charging them for services they never requested.

                    Till todate there is no progression in my complaint. Also to be noted if the Airtel money sim is not used for transaction it will be deactivated and the amout could not be restored. So in my case they are making it to that point. Whenever I call the concerned persons they are telling my complaint is in processing or they have to discuss with their higher officials. When I approached Viveks Showroom they're telling 10 out of 100 people are getting this same airtel money sim problem and they are not responsible for these problems. Can anyone suggest me how to approach this situatuion legally?

                    I received the message in consumer court website as the problem was resolved. Can you tell me how to get RS.4000 from those deactivated and recycled airtel money sim card?

                      Airtel: Mobile phone services — Promotional Calls

                      Three times registered for Do Not Disturb calls. Complaint has been launched 8 months back, but still the service is not deactivated.

                      Airtel Prepaid — promotional calls

                      1.i had already subscribe to do not disturb service still i am getting those calls from last 8 months..i have complaint 100 times in the customer care but its of no use.

                      2.i had not even subscribe for bharat pack unneccesarily they deducted my account by rs 5.

                      3.once i recharged my phone by rs.20 talk time 15.in the morning when i checked it showed nil balance.no response from customer care side.

                      I MUST SAY AIRTEL WORST CELL SERVICE I HAD EVA SEEN NO NETWORK NOTHING, , , , , , , ,

                      Dear Sir,

                      every time when call and disconnected the call i receive a message of balance in my account.
                      as well i receive a promotions says dial some XYZ number to set hello tune etc.

                      same way 3 days back i received a promo in my account balance message. i have been told to dial 556782 to participate in some bumper offer charges will be 9/min.

                      but the call was just for 3 sec of saying( thanking you for calling unfortunately you are disconnected)

                      and my amount of Rs.9/- deducted from my balance of Rs.39/-

                      and my balance was only 30/-

                      These Airtel network company always use this type of tricks to deduct from the people who even go for prepaid connections also.

                      Please take severe action against these type of fraud promo and other type of illegal and fraud calls.

                      Bharti Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — Receiving promotional calls & sms even after registrations on DND

                      Dear Concerned,

                      Please be informed that i am avaling DND services since 2010. For the first forty five days it was fine that i was receiving promotional calls & SMS's. But today is 30.05.2011,still i am receiving such promotional,marketing calls & sms(related to property). I am fedup of this. So many times i have called on Airtel Customer Care and breif them about the problem i am facing daily by unwanted calls and sms.I am feeling like cheated, badly harrassed & distracting myself daily with unwanted calls & sms on number. Even more of time i have received calls from airtel guys selling postpaid connection on phone, offering me VAS related services like Hello tune. Bad customer service...customer care guys are useless nevers resolved anyone one of issues...and maximum time dissconnected my call....put my call on hold & never respond...I am sharing all this here for enhancing this in knowledge of general public....Airtel really sucks!!! i am closing all my connections & will initiate legal action for the said subject....

                        Myself Avishek Bhattacharyya,an Airtel pre-paid user([protected]) had recharged my account with Rs.47 for activating the free sms pack for 30 days.However,although I received a message that the easy recharge had been successful,the sms scheme was not activated.Morover,my account was not credited with any balance.This is highly disappointing as it has forced me to have a rethink about continuing on your network.I hope you look into the matter as soon as possible as am extremely upset with the monetary loss caused by the latest fiasco.

                          As You Buy Talk-time, Beware!

                          Sub: My Airtel Mobile No.[protected]

                          On Dec 4, I was recharging my prepaid account –as usual -- to build up talk time [vide Transaction ID[protected]]. And as usual, the screen flashed, ‘Recharge Successful.’ So I went my way.

                          But it has proved to be a case of ‘operation successful, patient dies,’ as I’ve since learned. That was when I found a day later that the recharge had made hardly any difference to bolster the health of my talk-time balance. The balance showed no change whatsoever even after the recharge.

                          To my shock, I now gather that the amount has been credited not to the usual talk time balance – but elsewhere. According to Airtel’s Customer Care, they have credited the cash into a new ‘Dedicated Account 11.’

                          Whatever that be, I have no idea. When have they opened that ‘Dedicated Account’ for me? And why, all of a sudden? As a consumer, I have little knowledge about these things. I have not sought such a facility. Nor have I asked for any 3G data – supposedly against that ‘Dedicated Account.’

                          Should the customer be taken for a ride?

                          A company may be eager to sell a product in the market. Welcome. But the customer, too, has a choice to buy whatever he or she wants. And just nobody – not even the country’s leading mobile service provider -- can dump a product on an unwilling consumer, if the person chooses not to consume it. Surely, there could be no question of the consumer paying for a service he or she hasn’t asked to buy.

                          Let me repeat I have not asked Airtel to open the so-called Dedicated Account.They have done so without my consent in the first place and then hijacked the regular recharge amount into that new account, again without my consent.

                          In the event, the least I expect of them is to undo the Dedicated Account and credit the amount in favour of talk-time, as intended.

                            Whenever you call to customer care 121 and select any option that goes to their "talk to our Customer Care representative", then suddenly call gets disconnected.
                            Airtel is earning money as the 121 is chargable and they automatically disconnect the call when you select the option to talk to the customer care representative.

                            This is the worst IVR system I have ever seen.

                            I have Airtel Simcard from last 3 years,In my room there is no signal of airtel,my house is in the mid of the city.I call several times to customer care,they says your problem will be solved in 7 days but after a month the problem remains same.This is my very old no. thats why I cant change this.Having lots of trouble I decided to divert my calls to other no.,I call customer care again,they tell me you only divert a call on airtel and idea,then I purchase a new idea connection.I call customer care again to activate call divert to my new idea number now they says you only divert a call on airtel local no.
                            What can I do now this is a very worst customer care,kaise kaise gadho ko bitha ke rakha hai.
                            I am an existing Airtel digital TV subscriber and recently i have paid the money for upgrading my existing settop box to HD settop box. I have registered a complaint request no:6262091 on March 24th. My customer ID: [protected]. I have been calling customer care daily and would have made atleast 50 calls for this issue. Most of the time customer care people disconnect my calls in between purposefully.
                            I have escalated this matter to the supervisors named rachana, kalpana and vivek who too disconnected my calls in between and giving me false promises of resolving the issue the same day and giving a call back. Till now I haven't got a single call from any people including customer care or back end installation team. Customer care infact gave me some contact numbers of backend team. In one number of the agency they never pick up the call and other numbers of engineers provided are invalid numbers. Its like cheating a customer and giving false promises. I am really fed up talking to customer care and lost my piece of mind and money for past 6 days. I am writing to you hoping that you will provide me some solution. If you are not able to provide the connection refund my money. Other service providers will come and give me connection within hours of calling them. Since im an Airtel customer for past so many years I thought I would go with it. Inspite of making more than 50 calls from past 6 days no one has turned back and I havent received a single call till now from any of Airtel people. I regret taking airtel connection. I will go with some other connection who provides good customer care service and values customers. I want my money back which I have recharged for Rs.2250 for new HD settopbox. So please help me get my money.

                            I am completely fed up of Airtel's attitude towards broadband issues which they are not able to fix it. I raised a request to relocate my broadband connection from Basaveshwar Nagara to Kammanahalli in Bangalore on July 3rd and the relocation is not taken place sofar and they are simply giving some stupid reasons like there is some problem with Software Upgradation and some .
                            Airtel being such a big organization, is doing software upgradation for months togteher. I am also a project lead and handles multiple projects and we also do software, database upgrade and so many things. But we take not more than one or two days for doing this exercise. First they should kick CEO's for not able handle this kind of situations.

                            Now, Airtel's service has become from bad to worse i am not getting any bad word to scold these mother [censored]rs. I am so fed of this [censored]ng airtel people. which has affected my personal life completely. I am not able to spend time with my family and kid which has frustrated me a lot. I dont have other option to go for some other service provider as there is no feasibility in that area. I have my neighbour who has Airtel broadband connection which is up and running. I dont know what is the problem with these mother [censored]rs. They are not letting me know what exactly the problem with this. They are simply dragging this on and on and on.....which has frustrated me a lot.

                            I call up air tel customer care many times to solve my problems but neither the company nor their any staff have taken any initiative to solve my complaint.
                            my problem is from April 2011, whenever i go in roaming my outgoing facility is barred by this air tel.
                            i complain about this to then in April,June,Sept,Oct,Nov & Dec total 7(seven) times but nothing has been done.
                            In place of solving my problem the company barred my no for customer care so that i cant complaint any more.Till date i cant call on 198.
                            Although i already launch a complain about this thrice.
                            and when ever i am in roaming the company cutting my balance,
                            is this the way to provide service to customer,why not TRAI banning these CHOR & DACOIT companies its really matter of same for TRAI.

                            I have been trying to get in touch with a so-called "customer care executive" of Airtel on their toll free 121. After dialling options 6, 5, it takes you to an option asking your confirmation about 50p charge for a 3 minute talk with the customer care executive. When I press 1 (to confirm) it just answers "dial 121#.... to know your balance, thank you for contacting airtel....

                            I really am fed up with Airtel's "go to hell" customer care attitude. This is not the first time, even before on several occasions I have faced this problem.
                            I have therefore left a complaint on their website and I got a reply that someone will contact me in 2 days....(2 days to address a customer's complaint?????). Just waiting for this conversation and then I will switch over to some other service provider.

                            I think the Chairman Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal should take a personal assessment of his company rather than talking big !!!!

                            WORST CUSTOMER CARE IN THE WORLD IS = AIRTELL

                            sir, I am using airtel network since 8 years. I never thought they will cheat the customer very smartly. I have activated the 2G data pack througe thire SMS service, after that one popup came to me saying that thanks for recharge you will get the confermation MSG for activation. But Msg didn't come even after 1hour. But we started using the internet because somany times they won't send it. But the next day morning my balance was 0. I was surpriced. when i called them 1st time they said your internet pack got over, so we took the money from my main accont. 2nd time they told the back was not activated, So we took the money from main accont. even The guy was talking like we cont refund my 300 rupees. You can do what ever you Want. I was realy upset so thet i am here to write my Problem. Please help in this.

                              After 10days when I called to Airtel customer care then they told me that they already close the same call I don’t know with resolving the complaint how can one close thy call.

                              Today again I registered a Complaint Number: 3419330 for the same. But again there is no revert from ………………….

                              There is such a pathetic services in AGRA, who will continue with AIRTEL DIGITEL ……….

                              Kindly look at this and realize my 10 days in the next month billing.

Every time they ask us to write mail to different e-mail ids but they do nothing in that response.                                   As per my current broadband plan, two services i.e Airtel PC Secure and Airtel Website Builder comes free along with my plan. I have never used both of these services but decided to try the website builder simply as it anyways comes for free (actually 250 /- per month but free in my plan). On October 2011 when I was scanning the bill, i suddenly noticed that Airtel has billed me for PC Secure. I was shocked and then discovered that Airtel had been charging for website builder for the past 4 months (July through October) whereas it should have been free.

                                  Inspite of numerous complaints both through phone and by email, Airtel has still not refunded my 1000 Rs. It seems they have a "waiver policy", whereas the consumers should not pay the outstanding amount i.e bill and only then will give the waiver. Simply unbelievable. Today i got a call from a customer care executive saying that it is not possible to give the waiver since I have already cleared my outstanding amount.

                                  This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. In short, Airtel expects the customers to scan the bill through a microscope every month and discover any fraud immediately. If not, nothing can be done. Please help, someone.

                                  pl refer my latest telephone bill #[protected] dt 27/07/08 for rs.737/- wherein u have charged rs 180/- being the pc secure charges which are unauthorisedly levied by u. though i have registered my concern to ur call centre vide complain id #36924499 dt 04.07.08.
                                  u r requested to please remove these charges from my bill and note for future billing also as i am already having antivirous installed in my pc and no more interested for ur this service.

                                  AirTel — Fraud in billing by Airtel

                                  Dear Concerned,

                                  I am Mayank Ghai a Research and Development Engg by profession and also a customer of Bharti telecom (Airtel). My user id and telephone no. is [protected], and I have been a customer of Airtel since more than 2 years. This mail is to address you the travesty of the experience I have faced by Bharti Airtel over and on since my tenure. I am personally satisified with the connectivity of my internet cum Telephone connection but the billing has always been very dubious.
                                  To start with I don't use my phone connection and only use Internet services for which the connection was taken, but since the phone was enforced with the connection thus, I was not left with the choice but to accept the landline connection as well. My travesty begun first that my bill were overcharged with faulty phone bills stating that I intent to use my phone but in realtime the connection was not used. The initial prima face was that they provided faulty nos. against my bill stating that these are the numbers I called but after a lot of plead and then shouting they agreed that it was there server problem which led to this waiver.
                                  The second time I was charged for a service with some Phone identification number scheme that led to my bill increase. On having noticed the Airtel customer care refer Reference no. 11205826 which was two long hour call that they claimed that they could introduce any service in my bill as value addition without my consent. Nevertheless, the problem went unnoticed till I launched another refrence no. 799940 with talks leading to then floor manager ( Mr. Kunal) whom again had a problem to admit that without consent services are not liable to be billed in my amount.
                                  The bill then aggrevated to another call with them this time paying no heed to my call. My call was several time hung up and then finally when things got worse and I was literally out of my patience they launched another compalint which led to reference no. 6150721 where then the floor manager ( Mr. Raju) then took of the faulty amount when I thereatened of not paying and disconneting my number. But even then asking for all the compensation for this harassement, he never was in mood to pay attention to my ears, though he did agree that it was thier fault.
                                  The latest has been that suddenly again my Plan has been shifted from Rs 699/- as base plan to Rs 799/- without my consent and this time the reason is the same that we increased the broadband speed to 256 kbps against 128 kbps which I subscribed without any prior knowledge and this time around the floor manager ( Mr. Vishal ) and team leader (Mr. Ashish) did agree that some customers might have not been informed before to this change. Also, there is no proof of my voice consent to them. The also tried validating that according to TRAI braodband means atleast 256 kbps and was making them hard to explain that I subscribed Internet connectivity and not broadband. Also when I asked to Launch a complaint satating that this time I want to be written in my grievance as that " I want to Airtel to write that I have been Cheated and Frauded by Bharti Telecom" in my compalaint, they refused to do so. Also, I wanted them to message me my stated complaint to my cellphone, they bluntly refused to do so and the Team Leader harrowingly dismissed my words. Though I have been able to lodge another refrence no. 10394078 dated 11/08/08 by Mr. Ashish and Mr. Vishal and also been said they they have written the same words as I have stated, I still undermine that they havent.
                                  Dear concerned I have always been a loyal customer by paying my correct amount on time and never been in farce to discalim my duty. Also, I wont pay this bill till this matter is taken with concern and solved to purview my harassment, as everytime they get a licence to harrow customers like us. I also wanted to discontinue but then I decided to fight and set an example for all such customers, thus I am reffereing you to my help. I want legal action and harrasement compensation to be claimed against them, so that such fraud could be lesson to them against all customers.. Kindly also seek that the customer care people should also seek to listen to the customer as they have been doned an apathy towards a customer.
                                  I hope to get a reply from your side soon and an action to be taken against them.

                                  A mo. no [protected] in the name of my son and used by my Daughter-in-Law is having AIRTEL connection.I am cursing myself for selecting the Airtel who does not care for their customers and keep giving big adv. to fool more and more customers.I am giving below my case:

                                  Since last 6 months, including this month, the Co. is regularly sending the Fraud bills.They, without our knowledge and consent, are including Rs 300 for 900 mins local free calls.Also the charges are not shown once but number of times for same dates.

                                  First time, in Feb. when bill came I called customer care.Theywere fully aware of it as they immediately replied that its a mistake and they would rectify it.The call it as Waiving Off the money in bill and not rectifying it.They dont send a corrected bill.

                                  This inflated bills are coming again and again since last 6 months, Though I am writting to all includind Appellate Authority but no one likes to relpy.

                                  To give a idea of Fraud ammount, Feb.09 bill of Rs 2163 had Rs 1819 Fraud ammount, March 09 Bill Rs 1212, Fraud a/m Rs 857, April Bill Rs 1282 Fraud a/mRs900, May bill Rs 1227, Fraud a/m Rs 904 June bill Rs 1245 Fraud a/m Rs 805. July bill Rs 855 Fraud a/m more than Rs 170(they have to give correct figure)

                                  This shows that bill are having more Fraud ammount than the actual bill.In next bill they reduce ate a/m as Adjustments.

                                  This is nothing but Harrasment of customers.Is it my duty to run after them to get the bill corrected every month.Also lots of other customers must be paying their bills along with this fraud ammount.

                                  I have been shifted to a different plan without asking me namely from Rs 222 plan to 722 plan.I called them they told that they got the thing confirmed from some Sheela(God knows who,one of their other frauds ). I had complained 15 days back and was assured of the charges being reverted.Next bill I was again billed to 722. I am now in a call with Airtel Cust care.I have been kept for hold since 45 mins after telling me that some senior would be reverting the charges .I went to their site where the complaint section doesnt work permanently.I again called the customer care,now I am told that they cannot access the account bcoz of soe server issue. What should I call this except fraud.

                                  I have been highly disappointed with Airtel services as I had requested a location move in Feb 2010 and it took them 2 months to relocate my connection and I was also charged for that period. I had spoken to CS and they had confirmed me that no bill will be genertaed for the period of Feb thru April as it was a delay on their side to relocate my services. Till date i have been getting the bill for that period and I have spoken to atleast 20 people in CS and still no one has been able to resolve this.

                                  I AM A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER AND NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I HAD TO GO THRU THE PAIN OF CALLING CS 50 TIMES AND STILL NO RESOLUTION. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY FOR A CUSTOMER TO HAVE EACH CALL FOR ATLEAST 20 MINS WITH EACH REP AND STILL NOONE DOES ANYTHING.

                                  now i have requested to disconnect services and waive off charges for the month of Feb thru April 2010. But i need a resolution on the FRAUD charges that they have been billing me for the period of Feb thru April 2010. i was confirmed by airtel that no bill will be geberated for this period but still i a,m getting bills. Pls help as I am being harrassed by airtel for making payment for this period.

                                  I have had the same problem (they have charged me extra for Airtel PC Secure for months now) and I brought it to their notice the very first time I noticed it yet month after month they keep billing me for it. They have also charged me for long periods when no connection was available and when asked them for a waiver for the period, they kept pushing it bill after bill after bill. I then filed a disconnection request - they said within 7 days they will disconnect my line but didn't do it for nearly 20 days. Since in that 20 days a new billing period started, they sent me another bill for that period. However what's interesting is, in that period again there was no broadband connection because of a damage caused to the Airtel telephone box wires and no one in my street got the connection. But they happily sent me a bill and want it paid. I have been repeatedly sendng them mails but they "promising" that the request will be resolved. It's more than 2 weeks now and still no action from them.

                                  Airtel has become a fraudulent company after becoming big. Anybody else reading this, please stay away from Airtel. Take your business to other "good" companies and stay away from harassment, cheat and customer abuse.
                                  This complaint is with regard to fraudulent billing methods employed by Airtel on my postpaid mobile connection for the month Oct'2012.

                                  In the month of October, Airtel advertised for a new offer for unlimited international roaming data usage for 500INR/day.I was enticed by this offer due to my frequent international travels and called the customer care for more details.I was told this offer was available for any country and I was provided the codes for Hong Kong & Macau as requested.The following were the activation codes.

                                  ACTHKG to 121 (Choose CSL network)
                                  ACTMAC to 121 (Choose CTM network)

                                  Hence, during my recent trip in October I made used of this offer.I used the unlimited Internet 500INR/day pack for five days in total (3 days in HK & 2 days in Macau) by using the above activation codes as advised by the Airtel customer representative.

                                  Though not the reason of my complaint here, I want bring to notice that during the same trip Airtel had barred by services in HK intermittently and I had to arrange for my colleague from India to call customer care and register a complaint.Following this Airtel restored my service.Due to this fiasco I was without communication capability for 5 hours.This very same error was repeated by them 2 days later when I was using their international roaming service in Macau and my line was restored only when I returned back to New Delhi.

                                  However, when I received my Airtel postpaid bill for the month of October 2012, I was horrified to see that they had levied 44,000INR towards international data usage where I should be billed only 500INR X 5 Days usage = 2,500INR according to their own plan.I do not have a problem with the international call roaming charges billed but quite clearly there was a colossal discrepancy with regard to data roaming billing for the tune of 41,000INR!

                                  I called the Customer care on 27th of November to complain regarding this billing error and was promised a call back from their representative who would sort this issue out.But I did not receive this call back for the next 2 days.I called the customer care again on the 2nd of December to which I was told that they cannot help with this problem and I would have to call their nodal officer.Hence, I called the Airtel nodal office on Dec 3rd and brought up the matter with the representative. I was told that she would escalate the issue to a supervisor and I would get a call back in 72 hours. Quite expectantly I received no call back for the next 96 hours (4 days).

                                  On Dec 7th, call the nodal desk again to check regarding by pending complaint (SR No:[protected] and to my horror I was told that the complaint had been dismissed because the offer was not available for Macau. This was in clear violation to the rules as described on the Airtel website and prior information given out by the customer care representative. I hence refused to accept this explanation and argued my case with the nodal officer for 40 minutes.She then put my call on hold to study the offer as prescribed by Airtel. She then learnt that the prior explanation given to me was false and now levied the charge on me that I had not activated the pack for Macau for 2 days due to which they billed me 40,000INR.This argument was again baseless as checked on the bill I had not only activated the pack for Hong Kong & Macau with the prescribed codes but also chosen the correct service providers as per the codes(Information is clearly on the bill copy) i.e CSL in HK and CTM in Macau.

                                  Its quite clear that they either have completely overlooked the offer during billing, or had a technical issue with billing systems that did not take into account the new offer or clearly committed billing fraud.Due to this they have barred outgoing calls for my work postpaid mobile number for the last 4 days and are demanding a payment for this fraudulent bill.

                                  I appeal to this esteemed forum for justice against against this billing fraud and arm-twisting by the service provider, Airtel.

                                  i am deepak thakur a regular user of airtel but this time they did fraud with me and i am very much unsatisfied

                                  i called customer care on 16th july to activate GPRS on my cell but they said i have free 350 mb 3g data till 03rd august and i can use that.

                                  i used that data within limit but when i recvd my bill it was for 1500 and 1000 rs of internet was included in that and when i called airtel customer care their staff didn&#039;t help me at all their superviser NAWAL KISHORE denied to exclate my call to seniors and didn&#039;t support me.

                                  i dont want to pay fraud amount to airtel request your intervention.

                                    I have been Airtel Customer since last 8 years, i didn't received any good tariff so i planed to port my number before few month, than i got a call from Airtel they asked me to stay with Airtel itself and promised that they will be providing good offers hereafter, for now u just stay with a plan (A2A 1ps/2sec, A2O 2ps/3sec, Daily 100sms free) it worked for two months than switched me to normal plan (60/min for all local call and started charging for sms).                                     I have a prepaid airtel connection in bangalore and i made a call to another airtel number of patna(Bihar).I talked on the phone for 20 mins and the money deducted for the call was 18Rs.I called up airtel customer care to know as to what is the tariff charges of airtel.The customer care exceutive said to me that the number on which i have called is a landline number.Whereas the number is an airtel number of patna.I just want to know as to waht is the tariff plan of airtel without any power packs in karnataka. And how come the airtel customer care executive strongly argued that the number to which i have made a call is a landline number whereas it is an airtel prepaid number of patna(Bihar).In support of his argument for the money deducted for the call that i have made he said the charge was made on the basis of a landline call.Please let me know the normal call rate of airtel without any tariff saving plan and how will i get my money back.

                                        i have complaint 5 times on airtel about my range very weak in my home area and theey always send a person to my home. thee person verifies theat thee range is low and tells theat he will do sometheing about it. as far as i see, theere is only one possible sollution theat is, installing a 'repeater' in my home. thee last time theat person came to my home, i asked for a 'repeater' and he told he will do sometheing about it but notheing has been done yet, even after thee 5th complaint.
