    Deduction of money without approval
    My airtel prepaid no. is [protected]. 23rd November 2011 time is 8.45 pm Maine 198 dial karke pucha tha ki hello tune jo activate hain wo kab expiry honewali hain to muze bataya gaya ki 30th Dec 2011 ko khatam hogi iske bad miane usko bola ki ap udher comment likho ki muze 30th Decmber ke bad hello tune deactivate karan hain lekin mam ne bola ki hum aise nahi kar sakte to Maine bola thik hain main phir tabhi phone karungi.
    lekin 2nd December ko mere account se 60rs debit kiya without my permission & no any idea for this. Maine 2nd decmber ko 4/5 bar customer care main phone lagaya but koi resposne nahi mila. Muze bataya gaya ki apka advance main 60rs cust kiya hain but kya ap muze batoge ki ap kabi advance main hame recharge karke dete ho???????????? no...& impossible ... Aj bhi Maine customer care ko phone lagaya but no response i wnat my 60 rs in my account & stop this service immediately otherwise i will take action AIRTEL

    company has fraudulantly debited my account by falsely stating that some service called VAS PACK99 HAS BEEN ACTIVATED at my request and my account has been charged -no DEBITED DIRECTLY BY RS 99.This is daylight robbery.I never asked for any such service and am left helpless! Is there no control on their innovative ways of looting the customers? SHAME BE ON AIRTEL.

    Airtel — Debiting my prepaid account

    I am facing too many problems with Airtel. I have a prepaid account on my mobile phone [protected]. Two days back the balance was Rs.151.45, and today when I checked, the balance is Rs.121.45 (reduced by Rs.30). I have no knowledge as to why Rs.30 has been debited from my account. I request that suitable action be taken against Airtel, and demand that they credit my account with this Rs.30 that has been wrongly debited from my account. I wish to state that in the past I have never checked the balance in my account, and have probably been cheated by Airtel many times.

      subject: Cheating and Worst Service from Airtel DTH Tv
      Hello Customer Care Team and Mr. Joseph,
      This morning I received an SMS from AD-TVSrvce that my complain nos. 14159081 and 14179519 has been resolved. In reality, the problem persists and has not been resolved.
      No engineer visited my home. How can the problem be resolved automatically when you have provided me a faulty and old set-top box?
      Moreover, you are deducting my daily DTH TV charge. For the past three days, due to your callousness and bad service I was not able to view the TV. Why have Airtel turned as cheaters? Instead of deducting the money from my account, focus on customer service and provide a proper set-top box immediately..
      Request you to provide me a proper and working set-top box ASAP, as I have already paid the money for the box.

      Subject: Complain against Engineer for Bad Behaviour and No Service

      Hello Customer Care team and Mr. Joseph,

      My Customer ID is [protected]. I am an Airtel DTH customer for the past 2.5 years.
      Since the last two and a half days, my family cannot view the channels on the TV. I had raised a complain on this with no. 14159081. Today afternoon, in my absence an engineer named N. Manikandan (Engineer Id: FESE-02, Mobile no. is [protected], [protected]) visited my house and replaced the set-top box. Even after that my mother could not view the channels, but Manikandan assured that if we recharge by INR 350 - the problem will be solved. My mother refused to sign on the 'charge slip'. He forced my aged mother to sign on the paper.

      On my return, I raised another complain (no.[protected] as my problem was not solved even after recharging with INR 400. Manikandan visited my home again in this evening and told me that replaced set-top box was is an improper one. He even refused to keep my old set-top box, as I was able to view at least few channels by using it. On asking the reason behind not testing the set-top box before installment, he said he can speak only Tamil. I don't know Tamil.
      This man is very wicked as he was speaking to me in English for the last five hours. He started behaving rude and made bad gestures to me and my family. Please register my complain against him. Firstly he is not technically skilled. Next he cannot behave with a women. Finally he should be fluent in either English or Hindi (and not be over smart).
      Don't send Manikandan further, as I am scared of him and not clear of his intentions. I will not allow him to my house and will call the police immediately. Joseph sir, I tried calling you at[protected] but it said that the no. is not functional. Thus I am totally frustrated by the service from Airtel DTH.
      Request you to provide me a proper and working set-top box ASAP, as I have already paid the money for the box.
      Please send an engineer who is not fraud, techically sound and understand Hindi or English.

      Airtel DTH TV — No installation and Not returning Money

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      This is Ravikiran.K, I have ordered for a Airtel DTH on 16th November through IVR and the sales guy has promised the installation on 17th in Bangalore. But i have got a message that i would get the installation on 5 th of decemeber after almost 30 follow up calls. And I requested for the cancellation of the DTH and have asked my money 1590 into my credit card, I have sent mail to [protected]@airtel.in, but i haven't got any reply.

      This is my consumer Number : [protected].

      I want to get my money back and want to fight legally with Airtel for the pathetic service and rude behavior of the customer care people.

      Airtel DTH TV — setup box not working for 3 days

      This is the issue with the setup box and it is not working for quite 3 days and i have been complaining the customer care for 3 days and they have not been looking into this matter. this is really annoying and i have even email to the concerned department and they too have not replied to my mail... Please help me this is really getting frustrated and i have been with airtel for past so many years and it was just working fine but since till 3 days it just not working....I am really hurt by the kind of service provided by you....

      It was great to see your comment after 5 days. Where was you and your team between Dec 1 to Dec 3? Now you write for damage control.
      I have posted about your filthy service on my LinkedIn and facebook account too.

      I assure you the next time, I will not complain but take a local cable connection. The service from them is swifter and better than Airtel DTH. Atleast they don't cheat.

          I made payment of 50 through my icicibank internet banking on 01-Dec-2011. I got message that Transaction recharge for Rs.50 for hyderabad number [protected] due to this package not subscribed to your account. contact customer care. I called to customer care they ask my number to get back to me but i didn't received any call from them till then. And amount has deducted from my bank account.
          I would like to inform you that this amount recharge i have been doing past 4months and this is not for the first time.

            This is for your information please, i have purchase new airtel prepaid sim no. [protected] dt 16.11.11,submitting of all necessary document and passport size photograph from jai mata di communication - shop no. 8,retailshop of sim card, sanwal nagar,andrewjganj,new delhi-49. And incoming and outcoming secvice hasbeen start within 2 hours. i m continueing using my sim card and recharge with rs. 62 msg voucher.One day i have recieved msg frm airtel to submit my documents than i remind to retail shop keeper, he said i have already sent to airtel office.But my incoming and out going service is closed dt 30.11.11. so many times i remind to retail shopkeeper and already talk to customer care of airtel but i haven't get response. i have more trust on airtel.

            kindly go though my complaint and start my incoming And outgoing services with immediate effect.

            your early action is highly appriciated.

              I am customer for Airtel for past three years having the fixed landline of 40976005, I was using a plan with monthly rental of Rs.1099 with 4 Mbps, now I need to migrate the existing plan to a plan which is having monthly rental of Rs.649 with 2 Mpbs. My billing cycle is every 5th the month. I just called to Airtel customer care to migrate the plan on 2nd Dec 2011, but Airtel Customer care says, we cannot migrate immediately, we can migrate only on 5th of Jan and you will get the bill for 649 on the month of Feb 5th.
              It means that I need to pay Rs.1099 for the month of DEC and they do not have pro rate migration facility.

              This is really rediculas, even if you dont want the Plan, you are bound to pay the money. With this way airtel is making lot of money from the customers. So I really advice customer not to go for Airtel connetion in future. Airtel has very very bad service, they are not a real service providers, they are money makers.

                Dear Sir

                This is to inform that I am a student of NIT(National Institute of Technology) Kurukshetra, and currently reside there in the hostels. Here the connectivity of Airtel is poor. We cant connect to other Airtel users as well as the other telecom services too. Neither can we receive calls from either.

                We have a persistent problem here because of which students(including myself) have to shift to other telecom serivices to ensure continuous connectivity.As Airtel lives up to it reputation, we would still like the company to look into the matter, maybe built an Airtel Tower nearby so that it doesnt loses its customers. Also Kurukshetra is a hub of colleges and hence there are so many customers here.

                  i have taken the pre paid Sim Number is [protected].But,i had paid ~ rs.3299/-- paid for 2 months which is not having any details of phone calls by me.Due to sudden increase of pay bill i have decided to close prepaid and buy post paid Sim.
                  So, i had 2 to 3 times went to airtel show room in porur and said about the closing of my airtel number and taking the post paid Sim. they told that net not functioning and here it is not possible to do.and also finally amount settled.Now I bought a new post paid Sim seperately.But without using last ~45 days,suddenly one of subscriber called and asked for bill payment of rs.760/--.for the pre-paid Number.
                  It is really hurting to me.

                  KINDLY INTERFERE THESE ISSUE AND SOLVE.

                    On October 7th, I became a victim of a mobile based identity theft in which Airtel was a party. An unauthorized person with no resemblance to me or my personal details approached Airtel indicating that he had lost his mobile phone and he needs a duplicate SIM card. The stranger produced proof that did not match with any of my existing details in the Airtel’s system. In spite of these grave discrepancies, Airtel issued a duplicate SIM and activated the new phone without ever contacting me. In no time, the person who is part of an illegal money transfer scheme, withdrew lakhs from my bank a/c using the pwd being sent to my registered mobile no which was now in the thief's hands thanks to Airtel's help. When the bank finally reached me and alerted me, I immediately approached Airtel. Airtel did not help and insisted that I call from my mobile which was by now deactivated. Airtel refused to share any information saying that their IT person has left for the day. After much of haggling and running around, Airtel blocked the duplicate SIM. As you can, Airtel demonstrated utmost negligence in issuing the duplicate SIM and thus been a party to the illegal money transfer schemes. If Airtlel has followed standard verification procedures, this would have never happened. Airtel is completely responsible for selling out my identity. Airtel customers should be warned about the security of their personal information

                      Dear Customer Care Executive,

                      This is Atul Nivrutti Kawale, an Airtel prepaid customer (+91-[protected] --> Gujarat Circle). I have been using this service for almost last 1.5 years. In September 2011, I moved out of India for about 3-4 months for the same I asked at several Airtel Customer Centres regarding activating or deactivating issues with the SIM for I would be disconnected mostly for these months. They all said me there would be no problem at all. Further, when I was in Denmark, I could use my SIM during the initial few days by selecting some local network (Telia DK). Now, I am unable to do so, when I try to manually select the network, it is rejecting every network. I am worried if my SIM is deactivated or something like that. I need the number active urgently as I am also returning to India soon. Please help in this regard.

                      I had written about this problem to your helpline ID atlease twice but did not get any feedback from them. However I received a acknowledgement mail saying that will be replied within 24 Hrs.

                              I am having a very very humiliating and frustrating experience with the helpdesk guys taking calls in Airtel broadband department called "Retention".
                              I requested him for half an hour to accept my "Disconnection Request" but he did not logged it and trying to convince me.

                              Now I have sent them email to close my connection. Airtel/ Alcatel was not able to close my request # 7914150 for past 3-4 days. Alcatel providing pathetic services and coming with repaired modem every time. The modem works either for couple of hours or for a day or two and then goes faulty. Three modems have been replaced and nothing has been done, my broad band is still down.

                              The another pathetic part of the services is Airtel says that they don't take care of modem. They accept calls for modems but don't take ownership. They transfer calls to Alcatel. Alcatel Guys are not able to resolve my issue and coming every time with repaired and faulty modem.

                                It is to apprise you tha fact that the standard of customer services of airtel broadband has degraded to such an extent which is evident from the case enumerated below:

                                I have applied for broadband connection on 28th september 2011. I had closed the existing connection of tata photon plus in anticipation of getting connection within 4 days as committed by the agent of Airtel after filling the form with application cost. Since 1st October 2011 till date I have not been provided connection inspite of registering complain every alternate day. I had made atleast 20 calls but no
                                solution was made available to me even after assuring me to provide
                                the same by each day evening. Even i talked to senior executives and higher designation person also of airtel
                                3 times and they made assurance to provide me the connection within 3
                                working days but so many working days had passed no connection has been given to me.
                                I had arranged the contanct no. of Sh. Surendra Kalra (Mob.
                                [protected]) by myself who looks after the connection of airtel
                                broadband in Indirapuram Ghaziabad area. He assured me the connection
                                within a day. Inspite of reminding him 2 times in early November the connection
                                was not installed.
                                I had also sent an email on 4th November, 2011 to airtel but nothing moved.
                                To my surprise I got a call today from airtel that my 2 bills of broadband connection has been generated and i need to pay the bill.

                                With deep pain I am apprising you that i have really faced lot of
                                frustration while dealing with airtel staff and it is pathetic to note that customer service is now least priority of airtel.

                                Airtel Broadband — Broadband connection not Provided even after the payments of installation and subscription amount.

                                I had submitted documents and Instalation amount(By cheque of RS 1500) for a new airtel Broadband connection on 03/08/2009. As per the process i was told that i would get connection within 7 days. On 10th of august, 2009 the cheque amount was cleared from my bank but still the connection is not yet provided till 13/08/2009.
                                when i enquired after so many attempts the concern person Mr Anil PH([protected]) told me that they are trying to install but local people are not allowing them to instal some DP.
                                I would like to know is it my responsibility to get the instalation done. He says that they have permission for diging and installing DP but they are failing to do so.
                                why should i suffer it is the reponsibilty of airtel to complete the installtion process. as far as i am concern i was told that they provide service at the place where i am situated. The same is alse mention on the airtel website.
                                Moreover since 7th August i was told by Anil that they are puting wire for connection it will be done by the evening . This use to be a False commitment from him as everyday he use to commit but nothing use to happen.

                                I too have same problem. I dont have airtel network, but these people got money from me. Im staying in chennai but still i dont have any network in my area. I dont know in what way these people say that they have network through out India. People who collected money are franciese people and they gave all kind of reason for not installing the connection. One of know person working in airtel head office in chennai asked me to call customer care 121 and asked me to give all the details about the people who came for collecting money. He saying airtel would refund money back soon, I dont know whether this true or not. Im thinking to file a compalint. Let me know your views..

They took my money on 24th sept 09 but till this date they have not provided me broadband connection telling that sify people not allowing them to provide connection. Hence I am staying in JP Nagar.

                                Airtel Broadband — broadband connection NOT given even after two months

                                One Mr Jagan from Airtel collected Rs.500/- from me on 16/11/2010 for a broad band connection by way of cheque which was deposited and cleared by the bank. But, I am yet to get the connection ie., till 10/01/2011. My application number is 1111916 dated 18/11/2010. I had contacted Mr jagan many times but in vain. Finally broadband complaints cell and gave a complaint. They informed me that they are unable to give connection and the money will be refunded soon. But I neither get connection nor refund

                                  My Ph no is [protected], i have ported (MNP) my no from TATA Docomo, at the time of porting in Airtel Customer Care Executives has promised me that my tariff will be A-A 30ps/min, night 10ps/min and other 60ps/min and 200 local/national SMS free.
                                  Its was working fine all the way till yesterday, yesterday suddenly my tariff got changed to all Calls to 60ps and and all SMS 60ps, when i call up customer care the response was very unsatisfactory and pathetic finally they block my no calling to customer care.

                                  I request please take serious action of this issue and punish the concerned authorities for such. And Airtel please take serious actions on your executives for committing fake details to customer to cell your product avoiding bad impression on Airtel in the market.

                                  Kindly concern team contact me and solve my issue ASAP.

                                    I am a subscriber of Airtel Prepaid and also using Blackberry Personal mail Plan 399 through Airtel on my Blackberry 9780 (Bold-3). The said plan provides its customer free browsing and mailing on Blackberry handsets. My grievance is that since i am already using the above mentioned plan wherein i am paying Rs. 399/- monthly for browsing & mailing, in spite of this, every time when i browse through my handset, i receive a message that some amount has been deducted from my main balance.

                                    I report this complaint to my network's customer care executive on November 19th at 121 and received a reply that since my problem is related to Blackberry service, therefore, i have to lodge my complaint on Blackberry Helpline number which is 7070 & [protected]. So i made a call on the given number, i.e. [protected] and came back the reply that my this particular problem can only be solved by Airtel Customer Care on 121.

                                    I again on November 29th & November 30th lodged my same complaint before customer care department of my network and also before Blackberry Helpline number, i.e. [protected] and again got the same reply from both ends, as every time i had been redirected by both of them to call on 121 & [protected]. It appears that none of the department willing to solve my problem and deduction of my amount is still continue for no reasons. I was treated like a ping-pong by my service provider and i fail to understand why those departments and their officials shifting their burden on one another but my problem of deduction of amount from my main balance is still the same.

                                    I, therefore, would like to file my complaint before Consumer Complaints as this unprofessional and irresponsible attitude from Customer Care Department caused mental pain and agony to me. I request your good self to please take appropriate and necessary action against my complaint.

                                      We are tired following airtel team . Till date we are having 7out of 20 cards with zero second usage . Height of airtel stopped all our services even after their fault & sales person not ready to provide contact information of seniour person.




                                      Following notice in our mails never make difference to them :

                                      Before we go further we are also giving 2 options as solution.

                                        I am Praful Kumar, my customerid is [protected], few days ago I changed my channel pack and after that I am not able to record any program. I called on 12150 and registered my complained also send a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com on 29 th November 2011.

                                        Today, 30th November 2011, I got three to four calls from Airtel but no one solved my problem they only forwarded me from one person to another person. After that I again called customer support on 12150 but the (Sorry for the abusive language but I am really frustrated with that person's behavior) because didn't try to listing me.

                                        Few days ago I was registered a complaint against bad picture quality (also send a mail with attached snapshot taken from subscribed channel) and you people closed that trac with out resolving it. when I register 2-3 times then your engineer visited and resolved.

                                        Why you people are not taking action when someone is registering complain, every time we need to register our complain so many times with Airtel.
