this is one more way to cheat the existing customer - (may not be new for Airtel peoples--)..

The story: I have activated South Economy Sports pack for an Year by paying 2580/- on 12 May, 2011 (my cust ID:[protected]) must be valid up to 12 May 2012 PLUS 45 days free) after this my acount has 15+ rupes.

Today I just called to Airtel CC for new DTH HD connection at Bangalroe and sayed i am already existing customer .. provided my CID then they said my account is in negative balance... SHOCKED and opend my online account surprised to see the account in suspended state...
called to Airtell CC again asked why it was in suspended ...
...... they are soo creazy to say that ...
they already recorded the activation and deactivation of a GANES pack for 44+ rupes.
i asked, who asked this Games pack, did i send any email or online request..
---- they responded :: they dont know at all any thing.. the transactions are been recorded and we can not help you out in this.. soo sorry.. they added.

i am in confusin that - which one i need to think now - new connectiong or existing connection...
i am decided not to thing of old connecting and never goes to Airtel DTH.. will thing alternative.

Airtel — New way that airtel find out to earn money-- cheat customer

Dear Nodel officer,



This is your airtel customer [protected] who is suffering from the new
way which airtel had find out to earn money.

without my concern & my request unnecessary vas services are getting
activated in my account & amount are getting deducted.

In Aug'09 also one vas feature was activated without concern & when I
shouted at your customer care excecutive they refunded 40/-
immediately in my account.

Now again today i got one new msg that comedy junction is getting
renewed ,I dont know when it got activated & who did it. When called
on your customer care the executive name Vijay responded that I have
used the service hence I will not get the refund for this.

I want to inform you that you are forceing me to take legal action you .
I want my entire money to get refunded with in 24 hrs
& Do not disturb facility to be activated immediately
& which all vas services you have activated without my concer to be
deactivated immediately.

i have a airtell datanet conection phone no :[protected].i have problem regarding payment of billing. i already payed all the previous bills, but the behala airtell do not pay it. so they disconect my net. so i do not know what to do.

Airtel DTH — Not providing existing connection to new location

My new location has tata sky monopoly, They want all the residents of the buildings at Adarsh Rhythm 71 off bennerghatta Road to have Tata sky TV only. They dont allow any other subscriber to put the antenna for any other TV on the terrace.

I had a Aitel DTH connection and I had to forgo that connection because the Airtel guys cannot put the antenna from where it can receive the signal. A pathetic job from a famous company like airtel.

    I am an airtel suscriber. My no. is [protected].I am using airtel gprs service for almost two year.In those period I never complain regarding the speed of the gprs . But on last month I put a complain here regarding the speed of gprs and they sort it out.But now again from last two days I found the speed got very poor.It take almost 10min to open a site.I think they are doing this intentionally.Please sort the problem as early as possible otherwise I have to use mobile portability.My location is Lalganesh, Guwahati-34

    Today the Airtel service centre (Assam) call me and said that my problem has been resolved and want to close my complain.But I ask not to close the complain till tomorrow.When they spoke to me there was some improvement in speed.But after half an the speed got same.It was very slow as of before.I think they are doing this intentionally.what they want should I leave their service.

    Day before yesterday your concern team had spoked to me about the speed and they want to close complain. but I ask not to close the complain. I am sorry to say you that the speed is still very poor.Its showing only few byte per second as speed.But previously I use to get 3 to 9 kilobyte per second or even sometimes 15 to 20 kilobyte/sec..So please sort the problem as early as possible

      Hello,
      I have a complaint against Airtel connection. I am pasting the e-mail that I had sent to them in october 2011, which describes the problems I faced. Besides this, someone called yesterday and again today from Airtel customer care today at around 4.10PM from the no. [protected] and urged that I should pay the outstanding bill of some Rs 3000 and also added that I have been delaying for the past 3 months. I told the customer care person ( a lady) that I e-mailed to the different complaining authorities about my bill problem and that we should not waste both our time on this. I also told that we are sorting out the issues and that I will pay tomorrow.She then got furious, rude and behaved indecently and connected me to her senior saying that her time is also valuable. I already had a talk with that particular person (a male voice, few days back) who knew my problem and talked properly. But when I asked who that lady was, and that she was rude and doesnot know how to talk to customer, he just snapped the phone. When I tired to call back that no., it was deliberately dicconnected.

      To whom it may concern:


      I would like to bring to your attention that I was using an airtel mobile with no. [protected] in Guwahati, and have discontinued its use for over 2 months now. However, I am still getting e-bills. Please note the following points in regard to my complaints.



      1. I also had a Blackberry connection, which I discontinued earlier this year through your customer care personnel. However, the Blackberry charges are still levied on my Airtel bills.



      2. I shifted to Hyderabad and have been now using airtel phone no. [protected]. As per advice of the customer care personnel, I e-mailed at [protected]@airtel.in (see below) requesting discontinuation of my previous no. after paying all dues (Rs. 8526, even though I was not using it for quite sometime prior to that) on 5th September 2011. In spite of this, I am still getting e-bills.



      3. After getting the first bill after discontinuation, I called up your customer care personnel whom I could get after several attempts. He told that the system was down and that I should call after 2 hrs. This 'system down' thing happened for at least 4 times.



      4. Later on, when I could get hold of another customer care personnel after about 1 week, he gave me a number and told that number is for problems related to connections in Assam.



      5. When I called that particular number, it turned out that it was a Maharastra number and that customer care personnel did not even know in which state Guwahati was located (which I found very unusual and ridiculous). Finally she gave a supposedly Guwahati/Assam number. I tried many time but again could not get through.



      After that I gave up out of frustration. I am a doctor and have a very busy schedule. Therefore, I cannot keep on going through his grilling experience time and again.



      Therefore, I would like to request you to kindly look into this matter as a priority and make sure that my connection are discontinued and no further bills as sent.

        On 18.11.2011 I had recharged Rs. 200/- for my Airtel Mobile No. [protected] (Bangalore Connection) from Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and received a message as "RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL on 18.111.2011 at 02.23 PM. Talktime Rs. 1.00 MRP Rs. 200.00. Trans ID[protected]."

        It is a matter of great surprise that the Airtel Mobile authorities credited the entire amount of Rs.200/ for using 3G Internet in place of giving talktime of Rs. 200/-. This is a clear cheating from the Airtel side.

        Moreover while complaining this matter to Airtel on their consumer care No. 121 an automatic voice message were available that "recharge Rs. 200/- ...... and get 500 mb internet free ......

        It is therefore, requested to please instruct the Airtel authorities for immediate credit of talktime for Rs. 200/- to avoid any legal complications.

          I JUST CALLED A LANDLINE NUMBER OF MTNL FOR 40 SECS THE BALANCE CUT FOR THAT PERIOD OF TIME AND I WAS CONVINCED WITH THAT SUDDENLY WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING MY BALANCE OF RS 5.43 SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED THIS SHOWS ITS AN OPEN ROBBERY FROM AIRTEL WHICH IS A WELL KNOWN BRAND I REALLY FEEL SHAME TO TAKE ANY SERVICE FROM AIRTEL AS IT SPOIL MY MOOD PLEASE LOOK INTO IT OTHERWISE I CAN A MAKE A BIG ISSUE OUT OF IT THANKS.

            I am one of your very old unfortunate customer
            ( [protected] a 15 years old connection ) got a
            very bad experience with your employee.

            Today ( 29=11=2011 ) at 11.19 am I got a phone
            call from [protected] and she has mentioned
            that I can get a Sim-Card which is absolutely
            free and amount to be paid against usages only
            and I agree for that and after some time your
            representative came to my office for collection of
            documents and he narrated that I need to go for
            some minimum fixed amount plan to take the
            connection. Since this was not as per discussion
            I decline to take the connection and your person
            went back.

            After that I got a phone Call from [protected]
            at 1.53 P.M questioning in very rude manner why I
            refuse to take the Sim-Card. When I narrated the
            whole thing he and also one of his colleague
            started abusing me in most filthy language with
            taking my Sister, Wife & Mother and I was shocked
            with such behaviour and when I mentioned that
            I will lodge complaint against them, immediately
            they disconnected the phone

            I believe that you must have got conversation
            recorded, which I would request you to investigate.

            Now, I am lodging an official complaint against
            the caller ( he claimed Airtel Employee ) for your
            immediate action failing which I have to take the
            help of the law of the land.

              Hi To whom so ever concerned,

              I am vani kalal and i have been using the number"[protected]" for more than 2 yrs when was in NCR. Now i have shifted out of delhi and wanna close this number. Had called to customer care to get the procedure to disconnect the number and i was given haryana customer care number to get in touch. Have called more than twice for 3 days continously to the Haryana customer care but call would get disconected. i have visit the Airtel outlet and i didn't get any solution from them.

              I Have been charged unnecessarily amount around 700 Rs as monthly rent for which i was not liable as i had not used the number in the last couple of months. If same continues i will have to take serious action as i am not getting any support from airtel service and hencforth i will not be paying any bill charged for the number "[protected]".

              It's my humble request to look into the issue.

                i am saranga satapathy(kamata,koraput) and i have been using airtel Internet services on my mobile phone for the past 3 years.last 10 days me & my friends are not getting Internet,but network are OK,when we visit other airtel tower then internet network are there available ,we are complain to supervisor & S.e, but despite of complaining again and again no useful action is taken against the complaint and every time i get assurance for a resolution but nothing has changed . i am frustrated with the kind of service airtel is providing.if someone can suggest me a strict action against them please contact me at [protected].
                i have checked Internet s my friend's mobile and he also same problem in last 10 days.
                if i don't get any resolution sooner than i would have no option other than switching my network provider.

                  Last month i took 2 postpaid airtel connections with CUG plan ,
                  there after one week they barred my out going with out any intimation that they did't receive documents !
                  again i submitted another set of documents to there executive , after one one day again they barred because
                  of missing sfs or some kind of declaration in a 10 -15 days of time they barred 5 times outgoing calls .
                  now they are suspended my number saying that they did't receive any deposit !!

                  here i just want to take some legal action through consumer forum , can any one help me on how to move further .

                  i am working in mahindra and mahindra nasik as asst manager and i need CUG postpaid connection i had purchased post paid card in last month i have sbmmit all documents to airtel by own as no one is responce mr. atul nikam is looking of this matter around 10 days i have taken feedback from him but every time he responding tomarrow i will definately active your card after 10 days told this is not possible due to gas receipt required for proof i have also procure the same but again 4 days same responce and even not receiving phone so i complaint to mr amit kotwal as he also told me he will active connection within 24 hour but till around seven days no activation and responce is that in marathi "Tond jyast ughdu naka maza family problem aahe tyamule shakya zala nahi me baghto" but till no reply .and for this last six days i called around 40 times but he not receive my phone i am very disagree about airtel service in nasik tell me what shall i do?waiting for your reply
                  Hello All The worst service I have seen ever in the Mobile Service Providers are Airtel. I have took one airtel connetion before 6 months Now that time I was not knowing about the Network Problem of Airtel though I resides in the Main Centre or in the heart of the city was not able to get the Network in my home beside this Other Mobile Service Providers like Vodafone, Idea are having excellant N/w.
                  After that I have been told by the sales boy from which I took the connection is that For First 6 months I will not be charged any clip in my Plan which is of 125 Rs per month and call charges will be 50ps per month. But Excepting First Month Every Month I have been charged it. Also I want to register the Airtel Website for getting the Itemised Bill free to download which is chargable if you get copied from them Rs 70 I think But I was continuously unbale to register to their website though many times I asked call center which gets connected One time Out of 15 try
                  Now I have asked for DisConnection. Now Lets see how they respond

That person was a lady by name Jahnvee she offered me for postpaid connection. I agreed for that after 2 days Mr. AVINASH MULE came at my office he collect my PAN card & Passport + 250 Rupees.he told me your new connection will be activated within 2 days. but there is 6 days passed I couldn't get any response from Airtel Pimpri Pune. I talk to Mr. DINESH also.
                  I call to Mr DINESH he is not answaring on phone and Jahnvee is talking very roodly with me today.Mr. DINESH and avinash also.
                  Please do needful as soon as possible.

Two days before I came to know that company has issued four postpaid connection on behalf of my name and address for which neither I have applied nor I taken from the conpany. On 15/02/2009 I came to know that my sim has been recjected . Its showing "sim registration failed" on account of these problem I am being harrased by the company.

I alreadey request that activate the new sim as what are the facility I enjoyed in earlier, but till now it was not happening, I couldn't activate International calls, call conferance and my collegues, who are in CUG couldn't call me in CUG, I got the sim on 15 days before, why such kind of dealy was hapenning, even We have 150 and more numbers in Airtel CUG. May i know the number to am I want talk regarding this.

                  This seems absoultley rubbish and unprofessional way to treat the customer where the represantative went on lieing when he came to collect the papers for transfering my number from prepaid to postpaid he promised me it will take around 3 days to do so when i explained him the entire circumstanses as i was going out for my business but nothing haapend in three days time and now its been more than 10 days they haven't done any anything and i don't even have any way of contacting them as well.Now i seriously think the people who all are working on this they all are very unprofessional ad don't know that they are not suppose to lie to the customer. i firmly belief now i should change to some other service provider now rather than hoping that thes guys will do anything.
                  This complaint is against Airtel service providers and especially the Airtel Relationship Center in Alwarpet. There have been multiple instances in which Airtel has faltered on what is promised and strict action needs to be taken against them in order to ensure this is not repeated.

                  1) Duplicate SIM card for my husband&#039;s phone was bought on 11th March from the Alwarpet Airtel Relationship Center and (around 11 am) it was officially confirmed that activation will happen in the next 3-4 hours. Inspite of repeated phone calls and visit to the showroom, we got a standard reply saying that the number will get activated on 13th. There are a number o[censored]rgent calls lined up and it each time we call the representatives give a different reason for the SIM not being activated and are not apologetic at all.
                  A call back was promised which never happened on the 11th evening!
                  Also, the staff provide false information to customers which is completely incorrect. The relationship center said that the number did not get activated due to server issues; but customer care representatives say there is a SIM mismatch issue!!! Need this to be sorted immediately...

                  2) I converted my prepaid connection to a postpaid one about two months ago and the process went off smoothly. I got a call from Airtel asking if I wanted to migrate to a postpaid plan and on checking they mentioned that I would have to pay 350 as a deposit which would be deducted eventually during the billing cycles. I was surprised to get my bill which mentions a security deposit of 300 which will be refunded only upon cancellation of the connection. This kind o[censored]nprofessional behaviour and lying to customers need to be dealt with seriously!

                  I took postapid connection from airtel, they took payments but they dint activated my no by saying that my address is not verified. neither they came for any verification nor they are paying back my deposits.

Verification completed but still my no is not ON. even when i talked to customer care they are telling me that due to technical problem it will take 4 hours. from last 5 days 4 hours has not completed yet.                     My Self Stuti Shah. M using Airtel number +91 [protected] from last 2.5 years. Right now I am in Newzealand and they are cancelled my number on the basis of Documents submission. But when i went to Airtel Relationship centr,Trimurti Bus Stand Rd Panchmahal,opp Jain Society,Godhra but the refuse to take documents and told me that they cant issue that number to me even they cant issue that number to the same region. I am using airtel from almost 10 years.. I am Chartered Accountant give this number to all my important contacts.. I Complaint to Nodal Officer of Gujarat. He is saying the number can start again but Godhra Airtel Relationship persons refuses. Now what can I do for this??

                      As per trai regulations consumers are allowed to send 200 sms per day...

                      But airtel not allow to send 200 sms...


                      They allow only 100 free sms and other 100 sms will be charge for 75 paise..

                      They are not informed to consumers and they the balances from the consumers without indimation..

                      please take the complaint as serious and allow to send 200 sms per day...

                        I am Ayesha Fathima having a broadband connection along with fixed land line # 40923899.

                        I would like to bring to your notice that, this has been a high time, I lodged a complaint against Airtel for providing 2 connection to my above mentioned account # and billing for both the connections. Since the day I have got this broadband connection, I have been facing different kind of problems.

                        1. Your executive sold me a second hand modem
                        2. I did not receive my broadband bill to my house address until now.
                        3. I tried reaching many a times regarding the above issue to customer care, they were not co-operative. I even got to know my mobile # and email address is wrongly updated in your database.
                        4. When I got my online password, I got to know that I have been billed for 2 different land line and broadband connection.
                        5. I did lodged the complaint with # 5929852 and 1475854. Your executive said they will get back to me as soon as they can. But that as soon as possible didn't happen yet, and my issue is unresolved.
                        6. I have been asking for revised bill since I am using only 1 connection and I opted for 1 connection when I booked with your sales representative.
                        7. My internet has been blocked and I will not pay for the months which I have not used the service.

                        I would appreciate your good self to look in to the matter as early as possible and resolve the issue from your end. My work is getting affected due to the blocked connection. I am great follower of Airtel and I would not like to switch because of the quality of service you give. No idea, what went wrong with this one, due to which I have to suffer like anything.

                        BHARATI AIRTEL — Activation of Broadband & Land line connection

                        Dear Sir,

                        This is Bhavesh Tandel ([protected]), Please note my complain regarding service provider from bharti airtel who was supposed to give me activation for broadband landline connection since last 2 weeks.

                        I have paid for 1099 plan as amount of rs 4500 for 3 months service plan and i have submitted all documents along with 2 weeks ago.

                        I am daily being corresponding with mr sanjay ([protected]), mr. kinnar ([protected]) since last 2 weeks but they just not getting me any response and they committed that provide the documents and cheque (SBI bank savings account) and it ll start from next day. but there is no connection till the date and they even ignoring my phone calls.

                        so i request you to please take an serious action against them as a very worst service from their side. or else help me out to carry out another way.

                          I kept on contacting them but no body terned up.
                          I got a letter from them I shall pay them Rs 814/- other wise they will forward the case to legal cell and if any concern I shall contact to Sameer at No [protected] or Rajendra No. [protected]. I contacted so many times but they always say I am busy or call later on nor they come to any conclusion I loosing my time in this way.
                          This is really amazing, Can you help to resolve this issue.

                            we had this connection activated six months ago. but we dont know why airtel just stop providing their services at this location. we have already complaint about it on customer care nos. but they did nothing and still keep buzy in sending us bills for the services which was not in use from six or more months so please its a request that please stop sending us bills and refund our bill amount which one of your airtel executive received from our office for this disconecting service that bill no was :[protected]. bill date was 19/sept/2011 . bill amount was 2618.62/-

                              I'm totally pissed with Airtel Broadband service. The speed is like . DSL down most of the time and to top it all the bugger up your bills(they added some pc secure and free website w/o me requesting for it) Now to disconnect the damn connection the call center wouldn't answer the friggin call.
                              I have been the using the Airtel service from quite some time and fortunately I never felt that there is any kind of problem in the service being provided by Airtel in any part of India. After staying in different parts of India for last 8 years I recently came back to my home state J & K and on 25th of December I purchased a mobile connection from one of your connect centre located at Karan Nagar Srinagar 190010 when I submitted all my documents and issued a cheque for the amount the concerned person reported that Cheques are not accepted and unfortunately I paid cash and they charged Rs. 30 extra for the said amount. After 1 day my connection got activated and I started using the services of Airtel within 2 to 3 days I started facing the issue of call drop and not able to connect to the BSNL numbers and Aircel numbers and I contacted customer care for this issue and they captured my call and on my request they gave me the reference number and I started facing the same issue quit frequently and every time I was facing any kind of problem I was contacting the customer care meanwhile I got a confirmation call regarding my terrif plans and the agent explained everything properly to me and in that call itself she told me that you where supposed to receive a wrist watch with this connection have you received the same I told her NO I have not received she told me to get in touch with customer care and when I contacted them every time they gave me wrong information wrong contact numbers of the sales people and wrong contact number of the main office Jammu and I called customer care frequently instead of resolving my problem within 8 days of the purchase of the connection my access to customer care have been barred. After some days I purchased one more connection with handset from airtel (FWP) when it was delivered to me it was not activated in first 3 days when I contacted for the activation they reported that this device need to be replaced with a new one and an extra cost of Rs. 400 was charged to me that only when I myself visited the concerned showroom and the new device got activated after 2 days. Once I started using the device I came to know +about a unique problem which was signal getting lost for a span of 2 minutes as I was having the knowledge of these devices I contacted customer care for the replacement of the device instead accepting my suggestions they told me to visit one of there showroom after visiting that showroom the agent there verified that this is a faulty device instead of replacing the device he suggested me to visit one of the service centre and get this fixed personally to save the time once I went there the concerned person there told me that this will take some time to get the motherboard of that device replaced as that was my office phone I thought better not to fix the set at that point of time and later on the device was fixed only after I continuously approached customer care, Nodal officer and Appellate Authority and in the process my access to customer care has been barred for FWP as well. Further more I have been cheated by airtel when I purchased my connection the terrif plan which I have signed is not being applied. Also when I saw an advertisement in 3 of the daily newspapers of srinagar regarding the service of GPRS I approached the customer care and the concerned agent reported to me that the service is not available as of now once we will start the service we will get in touch with you and I told him that I have seen an advertisement regarding the same he was not able to convince me.
                              It is not out of place to mention here that I have been disgraced every time when ever I contacted any of the airtel customer care, Nodal officer and Appellate Authority they are not behaving properly with me even one of the supervisor on floor threatened me. I would like to ask you if I am asking for the best of the services for my money is that a crime.
                              I am still using 3 connections from airtel only because Airtel believes in best of the services for its customers. Hopefully I will listen from you as I do not have access to any of the authority in Airtel i will not be able to get this issue resolved otherwise I will have to look for an alternative.

                              It has been such a beautiful journey Airtel had in India, but it now seems like you are loosing it all.

                              Unnecessary balance deductions, ill mannered customer executives, bloody illiterate low waged workers at the call centers are the qualities of Airtel nowadays.

                              Mr Mittal I suggest you buy a ordinary airtel SIM from market and try to get a issue resolved from your customer care, you will drink cynide by the end of the call.

                              Do not think that if Airtel is an established brand it cannot fall......

                                Surprisingly my Prepaid Airtel number ([protected]) incoming calls barred from last three days but I able to do outgoing calls.

                                1. I purchased Airtel MNP SIM on[protected] at Airtel Customer care center, Kukatpally. Hyderabad. Submitted the following..
                                a. My address and Identity proof
                                b. Mobile Number Portability Unique Number from Idea
                                2. Once again I imitated Porting number on 03/11/2011 from Idea and Provided to Airtel Customer care center, Kukatpally. Hyderabad on the same day.
                                3. Successfully my number has ported from Idea to Airtel on[protected]
                                4. My outgoing calls has barred from[protected] without any prior information. And customer care people told me that, "your proofs are not reached to us"
                                5. I have submitted Address and ID proofs once again on[protected] at Airtel Customer care center, Kukatpally. Hyderabad.
                                6. My outgoing calls have enabled up on called to Customer care 198 on[protected].
                                7. Surprisingly, my incoming calls are barred on [protected] but, outgoing calls are not barred.
                                8. Now I unable to reach customer care person over 198 or 121 or [protected] (from landline) to know the status.

                                Please let us know
                                1. How I can resolve such issue even I submitted twice of Address and ID proofs?
                                2. How long time will take to resolve my issue?

                                General Policy Issues:
                                1. Airtel Number Portability SIMs are selling by Airtel office only.. as of my knowledge those SIMs are not selling by retailers.
                                1. Is it possible to sell Airtel Number Portability SIM card without submission of address and identity proofs by customer care centers?
                                2. If I have a such SIM card in my hand, that means that, Airtel customer care people already taken Address proof and ID proof from customer.
                                3. So, who will responsibility to delay or misplace of those documents to send your headoffice or respective office?

                                AirTel — incoming barred

                                Customer Care passing on the buck...!!!

                                The customer care instead of catering to the problem, is just passing on the charges to others. at times they ask to hold till the time they check our information and then cut the call abruptly.
                                if these people do not know to deal with the customers, don't spend too much money on them. Please improve your services. the incoming calls to my number [protected] has been barred and that too without any reason. i have lifetime validity and balance too. even outgoing call can be made.

                                  I have an Airtel postpaid connection. I need to update my current residential address in airtel "my information". This cannot be done online. When i checked with the Airtel, they said i need to go to airtel outlet and provide some address proof which is in my name. Address proof can be any of the below :
                                  1) Renal agreement in my name
                                  2) Land line bill in my name
                                  3) Ration card in my name
                                  4) Gas connection bill in my name
                                  5) Bank statement (Only SBI)

                                  I don't have any of the above in my name. Everything is in my husband's name and i told i can provide the marriage certificate along with any of the address proof. But Airtel is not ok with the same. I have only citi bank account statement which is not acceptable according to their rules. I have been asking them to give me an option which i have and did not get proper response from them.

                                  Since mine is the postpaid corporate connection, i asked them if the HR letter with the company letter head do? But they don't accept that too. I have no option left to update my current residential address.

                                  I wanted to correct my address in order to be up to date and to provide the correct information. In future if any statement will go to my residential address, it would go to my old address which is of no use to me.

                                  I'm sure other people also might have faced similar issues with address change. How can a public service be so unfriendly? How can it be out of options? When we don't have any of the mentioned proofs, Airtel should be able to provide atleast some alternative !!

                                  I am KesavaRao Dasari,using post paid Airtel mobile connection(995****995) for the last 5 and half years;
                                  I have applied for the address change at Chrmopet ARC in chennai on 17th November 2012;
                                  I have submitted the proof of my ration card as address proof;the person at the counter verified the original and taken the xerox copy and application and told the address will be changed in 5 working days; But till now,after several follow-ups,nothing happened;they used to tell me there is a power cut in the office in the morning and ask me to call in the evening;

                                  after that i wrote 5 mails to [protected]@in.airtel.com for the the same and they asked me send the scanned copy of the proof through the mail but even after sending the address proof in mail 2 times,nobody has updated the address change;

                                  I think you people will eat the same food as the normal people.

                                  You people made a mistake while updating my address actual address is #48/18 but you people has been udated as #48181 so i have requested to change that address. even i have visited to relationship office in vijaynagar bangalore and i told them to change the billing address last 4 month back.

                                  every month when the bill generates i will call to customer care what you people will say na sir your address as been updated as of now we are unable to generated the bill with this address next month bill have the new address. i dont know which month..

                                  please note i want the bill with new address .my number [protected]

                                    I am very glad to write this email regarding my airtel sim which has been on international roaming. at the moment i am in united kingdom.i do need to know the validity of my sim. how can i check that. i tried *123# and got a reply like 'Bal:141.00 Val:29 Dec37. Da5.0.000 '

                                    i have been very much happy with your services and coperations so i still would like to continue this sim and connection.

                                    i need to know about my expirery date of my sim because i dont want to run this sim into trouble by waiting for the last moment. i always prefer and do like to recharge for one year instead of life long validity.

                                      I have a Airtel postpaid number ([protected] - Karnataka circle).

                                      My services were barred due to non submission of the bill. The bill was not
                                      paid because I was in a remote location and I had promised (via email) to pay
                                      the bill on my return (that would have been on month end nov 2011).

                                      Even after that Airtel people were calling my relatives for my whereabouts.

                                      On 25th Nov 2011 Mr. Praveen Kumar (from cell number [protected], from Airtel
                                      Legal department) called on my alternate number and threatened me that if the
                                      bill is not paid by the end of the day, he will call my relatives and will use
                                      abusive language. And that he knows how to get the bill paid etc."

                                      Is that the kind of recovery process a reputed company like Airtel should be
                                      having? Even when I had promised to pay the bill in writing, how can Airtel
                                      personnel threaten a consumer?

                                      I want to take serious action against this, so please let me know how to
                                      proceed further or kindly suggest if I should approach consumer court.

                                        Hi. Iam Dr.hari vighnesh using airtel 3G data card from 20th sept.
                                        Initially was in 675 plan with 3 Gb of free data usage and my bill amout for that month(20th sept – 19th oct) came 1908 which was acceptable from my usages.So didn’t bother much.
                                        Later, went online found 1250 plan which was not told when purchasing this data card. So called customer care ,with so much difficulty changed my plan to 1250 and they took almost a week time to change the service functionally. Was happy after then as it was told with a free usage of 12.5 gb per month.
                                        And finally at the end ,the month bill from(20th oct-19th nov)came 6142.45.I really wonder how does it possible.
                                        Went online spend almost 4 hours. No where mentioned the usages.iam very much sure it wouldn’t have crossed the free limit.

                                        I usually get messages from airtel periodically to make me aware of the usage. As on 18th nov got a message saying usage as on 17-Nov is 10.39 GB which is 83 % of your total available free usage.that was the last message After then no messages regarding tht.
                                        My question is how it can come to 6142.45.how does it possible. Credit limit is 5000 after onwards its free unlimted and so how it can be charged to 6142.
                                        I called customer care spoke twice to the officials sangeetha then transferred to senior official karthika. They couldn’t actually explain me the issue,then so gave airtel nodal officer number [protected] tried contacting for 2 days,couldn’t reach. Very disappointed with airtel service. so unwantedly mailed airtel nodal officer,there got a reply.. feel free to contact [protected].
                                        Where the hell to contact airtel.god knows!!
                                        So then again called customer care. Surya prakash the official spoke..very careless talk. He then made me to wait in the line for another 10 mins for giving a answer that someone will call me in 4 hours of time.
                                        Another official Mr.Naveen called and the same thing happened. he again asked some more time for another official to contact.almost a day..
                                        No airtel official called.really bad with airtel.They cant even explain me how.This is how they charges the bill.
                                        Very bad.And iam not going to pay a single rupees with out valuable reason.
                                        My money.cant put it on water like that
                                        UNABLE TO SEE 3G DATA BALANCE BY *123*11hash or *121*11hash.

                                        LOGGED A COMPLAINT on 24th March and requested for balance and fix.

                                        NO ACTION TILL NOW; UNABLE TO REACH 3G tech support on 198 for past 1 week.

                                        Please help me in getting out of the horrible situation. My 3G is giving speed of 10-20 KBPS since last 2 days. Not a single positive reply from Airtel. Its very horrible & frustrating situation. I want to stop the services with immediate reply & change provider by number portability However not allowing me. They want me to wait till next bill cycle which is worst thing. I dont want any service from Airtel. Same place same provider... my friends getting maximum speed but not me still nobody able to resolve the problem.
                                        Since the last 1 week the 3G service on my number is not working properly. I don&#039;t get the speed i have been getting for the past 1 year or so. The sites are taking longer to load, videos aren&#039;t buffering at all and even photos on sites like faceboOK and twitter take ages to load. I know that sites like youtube and faceboOK are 3rd party but i have never faced a problem like this before. Videos used to buffer easily and photos would load within a second or two.

                                        I have called the helpline around 4-5 times. I keep a getting a date by which my problem will be resolved but nothing happens. Then i get a MSG saying that &quot;Your complaint No. ##### has been resolved&quot;. They keep telling me that the 3G service is active on my phone and everything is OK from their end but they fail to understand the 3G service is not the issue, the speed on 3G is and then they give me another complaint number. This is how it has been going.

                                        According to my latest complaint number, my problem will be fixed by 23rd april, 3:07pm. This is my last and final attempt. If this problem continues then I have decided to change my service provider to Vodafone using MNP.

                                        I hope airtel takes this seriously and understand the fact that I can shift to another service provider within a matter of 1 week.
