I am facing setup box issue past 4 days. I made complaint to customer care and they sent technician with replacement setup box and he did the same and left the place without activation of replaced setup box due to insufficient balance in my account. I was top up immediately with sufficient balance amount and tried to call the technician continuously. He never picked the call for fist 30 minst and then he picked and replied very harshly. The technician name is "Ramachandran" and I complained same by speaking with customer care but still now no action taken place and my problem not resolved.

Airtel is good for customer service but now I am thinking that, that was old story. In Airtel digital tv customer care, people are confusing the customer by giving inadequate information and technician also not come forward to resolve the issue and speaking to me harshly. I plan to disconnect this service and get out from this frustration.

    I want to tell you in brief about your call center that your agent doesn't give proper info to customer what they want.

    I want to recharge my mobile of Rs 100/- so i called at center for some queries so one agent Mr. Amitabh told me that if you will recharge of Rs 100/- then your account will be recharged by Rs 87/- and if you will get the message of Rs 100/- then you will take the unlimited offer also, so i asked from him is there any change will be done on my call charges so he said no sir there will not be any change on this so i said OK then should i go with this recharge so he said yes Sir.

    So i recharged Thru Net Banking so when i checked is my call rates are changed or not then i come to know that Yes my call rates are changed from Rs 0.60 to Rs 0.80 (or may be more) and after checking again i called to call center without saying that i recharged on mobile again i asked same question from him but second agent told me all same thing but one thing more he told me that if you will recharge thru machine then your plan will change and if you will recharge thru coupon then you call rates will not changed.

    So now how could customer know all that things if agent will not tell to customer.

    And i especially asked with first agent that i do not want to my call rates change but after that he didn't give me any information regarding same.

    I want my money back or my previous call rates.

      Against my Cancellation Request Id 8166928, I received a call from one of the individual from +[protected] who named himself Sathish, Annanagar. He ended the conversation saying that Airtel person will come to my place to collect the phone instrument and Modem for the broad band though I have paid for both from my packet. I verified this with my agent Mr.Vinod and tried to contact +[protected]. But nobody is answering the call.

      Is the number +[protected] is virtual used for only outgoing???????????? or how to contact that Sathish from Annanagar.

        last week as i got up i was not able to make call and recive call .i went to airtel dealer and asked about the problem he said that ur sim registration is failed,i don,t know why and how.same day before this problem i recharged my sim with rs 225 (FULL TALK TIME).i suffred a lot due to this.now pls tell me what to do? how i will get my number back and the amount also. my airtel no was [protected], sim no.[protected] h3.

        I purchased a SIM of Airtel Prepaid Life Time Plan in the month of December-2005. I am using the said SIM till 31st March, 2008 and removed from the Cell. Now I had inserted into the Cell, but it shows the "SIM Registration Failed". Since I have purchased the said SIM under Life-Time Plan, you should continue the services to me.

        Therefore, please look into the matter and give connection to my SIM at an early date.

        I had taken airtel connection on 2/11/08 no.[protected].
        i took the handset with universel & from them only i took the connection of airtel & I gave them whatever the address proof I had & they accepted.At the time of taking connection I had rechrged for Rs.399/.Inbetween from airtel they called up saying that thay had gone for the address verification & in that address we are not available, we told them we have shifted from that address to the new address & we have him the new address details also.Suddenly on18/12/08 they have disconnected my line & now they are telling that the number is cancelled & whatever my recharge chgs they have taken back.

        This is Seema Tuteja, , bearing the phone number [protected], wants to reigster the complaint regarding the inconsisitency being maintained on urs side. I make the payment in the first week of August 2009. I got the transaction id through mail, but by mistake it got deleted. At the same time , there was no updation in urs database. I am also not supposed to make the payment again. Now I am suffering a lot since sim registration has been failed. SO try to understand the problem and make this service convenient for us rather than making us busy for no issues .         I am anil from chennai. when there is weak signal of network, I am getting message of sim registration failed. and now finally it is not able to receive signal. please solve my problem ASAP.
        On 30th of nov 09, I got my sim changes as the previous sim was having some problems. I got it changes from the sector 14 outlet (old delhi road) Gurgaon. As per the strategy of the company they do not change the sim without the ID proof. So I submitted the ID proof and got the sim changed. The sim started working on the same day. But yesterday my sim registration was cancelled. When I contacted the airtel customer service they said that I have not submitted the ID proof. Now because of the fault of their outlet I have to suffer. I am a Dr. and I cannot have this no out of oredr even for one day. So the fault is of them and the sufferer is me. I said them (customer care) that as per the strategy of the company I can not get the new sim witout submission of ID proof, so if I have got it, it itself indicates that I have must have submitted the proof thats why I got the sim. But all in vain because they are like that only.

        I am Airtel mobile customer and I had changed my postpaid to prepaid plan on 28th of December, On 26th of January my mobile connection([protected]) has been disconnected and it displays the message " Sim registration failed" and from 27th of January I am regurlarly going to the Airtel office Model Town Ludhiana but the Airtel Executive is not giving me satisfactorily reply, this no. has been circulated in my clients but it's quite troublesome for my work.pls look into the matter

        I have purchased my sim from Airtel showroom,south-ex,and after few days i recieved the message that ur document is not been submitted a sper govt. rule.then i called up customer care executive regarding the same.they said all o[censored]r document is perfectly all right, just ignore that message.Yesterday 9/10/2010 ,the sim registration got failed.For this reason i need to face so much of problem and after that when i visited Airtel showroom sec-18,noida,they said u need 2 go to southex for ur instant ubarring of the number.i then went to south-ex,they shifted their showroom from there.

In the evening, I went to the Airtel Center in Manimajra to get a new SIM where on payment of Rs. 25 a new SIM was given to me alongwith a commitment that the number will work in 2 hours which dint happen. I called up the helpline at 9 PM and sent a request thru them. i was promised the number will be activated by next day which happened. the number started working at five in the morning but at around 10 AM, it again stopped working and I got the message "SIM card registration failed". I again spoke with the helpline where I was told by the frontline agent (Rajan) that the SIM was corrupted because of wrong request having been fwded by Airtel, so i will have to get a new SIM which will be done in 24 hours which was unacceptable to me as i already had waited more than 15 hours for a simple SIM swap. I asked for the manager who in turn told me that my complaint will be fwded by the number will be activated by Monday as SUNDAY IS A NON WORKING DAY. i am highly dissatisfied and wont ever recommend Airtel, which wrongly claims to be a customer oriented company. Your service sucks and your ppl are equipped to do nothing but to say sorry. this has caused a lot of inconvenience and loss to me even when i did everything right. Airtel, if someone has to make a payment offers to send executives to collect the money but it disappears when the customers need them. very sad state of affairs... i hope you are able to do something about this or close your company and move to africa completely coz thats where you should be where ppl can still live without being connected to 36 hours. i am glad to inform you that india has long moved out of that era and you gotta pull up your socks and do something about your shoddy service.

          I am an airtel prepaid subscriber with mobile number [protected]. My number was illegally recycled by airtel telling me i did not use it for minimum 200 rs in 3 months. I have no idea about any such rule. Airtel claims it is TRAI rule.
          Show me the rule.
          Also if 200 Rs is the limit then i had picked up my phone twice while in international roaming and this was when i wasted 200 Rs. So i did use for 200 Rs right ???
          Answer me airtel.
          I WANT MY NUMBER BACK.

            I am very disturbed due to this airtel nonsese.They always deduct my balance anytime and as much amount they want.Last month i was surfing the net and suddenly i received a message from airtel that thanks for downloading ra-one genesis and my 70rs got deducted,i also called the customer care but no resolution is provided and the second time i wake up in the morning and see a message that thanks for activating hungama club pack which i never activated.And now this time is the third time where my 1rs get deducted everyday without my knowledge and when i frequently call the customer care they always disconnect my call and now they have deactivated my customer care service.Please help me or i will have to deactivate or port this number.

              Airtel is charging me Airtel TV on mobile charges are 40 Rs/week.
              I have not even requested for it and when i been to airtel office at Indore they simply refused to deactivate as the service is from haryana.

              I am possessing a Airtel sim card having no.[protected]. Despite of having balance of Rs 300, and validity upto July 7th my services have been stopped without any prior information for last one week. The worst part of the story is when I contacted the customer servicde center of Airtel they informed me that they don't have the database of my cell no. It is really astonishing to know how the information of the sim card can be deIeted from the database within validity period itself. I also wish to know who is responsible for this and I won't mind even discontinuing this number however my balance amount must be refunded to me. Even to know that which person or what consequences led to deactivate my sim card shall I file an application under Right to information act(RTI). I hope my problem is adressed in this forum.

              Airtel prepaid mobile — Airtel charges me randomly for FHM model of the day

              I had never subscribed for airtel's this servic "FHM model of the day". When I called customer care they didn't hear it. Now I had tried it to discontinue many times. But this service is charging me again & again.

              I have lost many times my money in this. Its happening since last one month. Please Discontinue this service.

              Airtel FHMModelofDay — Unsubscription of the above service

              I have requested to unsubscribe the FHMModelofDay by messaging to 54321 yesterday (13.10.2009).They send me a message from 58888 stating that the service had been unsubscribed. But today they charge Rs.6 again.Hence I want the service to be unsubscribed and get my money back.Thank you.

                  company has fraudulantly debited my account by falsely stating that some service called VAS PACK99 HAS BEEN ACTIVATED at my request and my account has been charged -no DEBITED DIRECTLY BY RS 99.This is daylight robbery.I never asked for any such service and am left helpless! Is there no control on their innovative ways of looting the customers? SHAME BE ON AIRTEL.

                  Airtel — Debiting my prepaid account

                  I am facing too many problems with Airtel. I have a prepaid account on my mobile phone [protected]. Two days back the balance was Rs.151.45, and today when I checked, the balance is Rs.121.45 (reduced by Rs.30). I have no knowledge as to why Rs.30 has been debited from my account. I request that suitable action be taken against Airtel, and demand that they credit my account with this Rs.30 that has been wrongly debited from my account. I wish to state that in the past I have never checked the balance in my account, and have probably been cheated by Airtel many times.

                    This morning I received an SMS from AD-TVSrvce that my complain nos. 14159081 and 14179519 has been resolved. In reality, the problem persists and has not been resolved.
                    No engineer visited my home. How can the problem be resolved automatically when you have provided me a faulty and old set-top box?
                    Moreover, you are deducting my daily DTH TV charge. For the past three days, due to your callousness and bad service I was not able to view the TV. Why have Airtel turned as cheaters? Instead of deducting the money from my account, focus on customer service and provide a proper set-top box immediately..
                    Request you to provide me a proper and working set-top box ASAP, as I have already paid the money for the box.

                    Hello Customer Care team and Mr. Joseph,

                    My Customer ID is [protected]. I am an Airtel DTH customer for the past 2.5 years.
                    Since the last two and a half days, my family cannot view the channels on the TV. I had raised a complain on this with no. 14159081. Today afternoon, in my absence an engineer named N. Manikandan (Engineer Id: FESE-02, Mobile no. is [protected], [protected]) visited my house and replaced the set-top box. Even after that my mother could not view the channels, but Manikandan assured that if we recharge by INR 350 - the problem will be solved. My mother refused to sign on the 'charge slip'. He forced my aged mother to sign on the paper.

                    On my return, I raised another complain (no.[protected] as my problem was not solved even after recharging with INR 400. Manikandan visited my home again in this evening and told me that replaced set-top box was is an improper one. He even refused to keep my old set-top box, as I was able to view at least few channels by using it. On asking the reason behind not testing the set-top box before installment, he said he can speak only Tamil. I don't know Tamil.
                    This man is very wicked as he was speaking to me in English for the last five hours. He started behaving rude and made bad gestures to me and my family. Please register my complain against him. Firstly he is not technically skilled. Next he cannot behave with a women. Finally he should be fluent in either English or Hindi (and not be over smart).
                    Don't send Manikandan further, as I am scared of him and not clear of his intentions. I will not allow him to my house and will call the police immediately. Joseph sir, I tried calling you at[protected] but it said that the no. is not functional. Thus I am totally frustrated by the service from Airtel DTH.
                    Request you to provide me a proper and working set-top box ASAP, as I have already paid the money for the box.
                    Please send an engineer who is not fraud, techically sound and understand Hindi or English.

                    Airtel DTH TV — No installation and Not returning Money

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    This is Ravikiran.K, I have ordered for a Airtel DTH on 16th November through IVR and the sales guy has promised the installation on 17th in Bangalore. But i have got a message that i would get the installation on 5 th of decemeber after almost 30 follow up calls. And I requested for the cancellation of the DTH and have asked my money 1590 into my credit card, I have sent mail to [protected]@airtel.in, but i haven't got any reply.

                    I want to get my money back and want to fight legally with Airtel for the pathetic service and rude behavior of the customer care people.

                    Airtel DTH TV — setup box not working for 3 days

                    This is the issue with the setup box and it is not working for quite 3 days and i have been complaining the customer care for 3 days and they have not been looking into this matter. this is really annoying and i have even email to the concerned department and they too have not replied to my mail... Please help me this is really getting frustrated and i have been with airtel for past so many years and it was just working fine but since till 3 days it just not working....I am really hurt by the kind of service provided by you....

                    It was great to see your comment after 5 days. Where was you and your team between Dec 1 to Dec 3? Now you write for damage control.
                    I have posted about your filthy service on my LinkedIn and facebook account too.

                    I assure you the next time, I will not complain but take a local cable connection. The service from them is swifter and better than Airtel DTH. Atleast they don't cheat.

                        I made payment of 50 through my icicibank internet banking on 01-Dec-2011. I got message that Transaction recharge for Rs.50 for hyderabad number [protected] due to this package not subscribed to your account. contact customer care. I called to customer care they ask my number to get back to me but i didn't received any call from them till then. And amount has deducted from my bank account.

                          This is for your information please, i have purchase new airtel prepaid sim no. [protected] dt 16.11.11,submitting of all necessary document and passport size photograph from jai mata di communication - shop no. 8,retailshop of sim card, sanwal nagar,andrewjganj,new delhi-49. And incoming and outcoming secvice hasbeen start within 2 hours. i m continueing using my sim card and recharge with rs. 62 msg voucher.One day i have recieved msg frm airtel to submit my documents than i remind to retail shop keeper, he said i have already sent to airtel office.But my incoming and out going service is closed dt 30.11.11. so many times i remind to retail shopkeeper and already talk to customer care of airtel but i haven't get response. i have more trust on airtel.

                          kindly go though my complaint and start my incoming And outgoing services with immediate effect.

                            I am customer for Airtel for past three years having the fixed landline of 40976005, I was using a plan with monthly rental of Rs.1099 with 4 Mbps, now I need to migrate the existing plan to a plan which is having monthly rental of Rs.649 with 2 Mpbs. My billing cycle is every 5th the month. I just called to Airtel customer care to migrate the plan on 2nd Dec 2011, but Airtel Customer care says, we cannot migrate immediately, we can migrate only on 5th of Jan and you will get the bill for 649 on the month of Feb 5th.
                            It means that I need to pay Rs.1099 for the month of DEC and they do not have pro rate migration facility.

                            This is really rediculas, even if you dont want the Plan, you are bound to pay the money. With this way airtel is making lot of money from the customers. So I really advice customer not to go for Airtel connetion in future. Airtel has very very bad service, they are not a real service providers, they are money makers.

                              This is to inform that I am a student of NIT(National Institute of Technology) Kurukshetra, and currently reside there in the hostels. Here the connectivity of Airtel is poor. We cant connect to other Airtel users as well as the other telecom services too. Neither can we receive calls from either.

                              We have a persistent problem here because of which students(including myself) have to shift to other telecom serivices to ensure continuous connectivity.As Airtel lives up to it reputation, we would still like the company to look into the matter, maybe built an Airtel Tower nearby so that it doesnt loses its customers. Also Kurukshetra is a hub of colleges and hence there are so many customers here.

                                i have taken the pre paid Sim Number is [protected].But,i had paid ~ rs.3299/-- paid for 2 months which is not having any details of phone calls by me.Due to sudden increase of pay bill i have decided to close prepaid and buy post paid Sim.
                                So, i had 2 to 3 times went to airtel show room in porur and said about the closing of my airtel number and taking the post paid Sim. they told that net not functioning and here it is not possible to do.and also finally amount settled.Now I bought a new post paid Sim seperately.But without using last ~45 days,suddenly one of subscriber called and asked for bill payment of rs.760/--.for the pre-paid Number.
                                It is really hurting to me.

                                KINDLY INTERFERE THESE ISSUE AND SOLVE.

                                  On October 7th, I became a victim of a mobile based identity theft in which Airtel was a party. An unauthorized person with no resemblance to me or my personal details approached Airtel indicating that he had lost his mobile phone and he needs a duplicate SIM card. The stranger produced proof that did not match with any of my existing details in the Airtel’s system. In spite of these grave discrepancies, Airtel issued a duplicate SIM and activated the new phone without ever contacting me. In no time, the person who is part of an illegal money transfer scheme, withdrew lakhs from my bank a/c using the pwd being sent to my registered mobile no which was now in the thief's hands thanks to Airtel's help. When the bank finally reached me and alerted me, I immediately approached Airtel. Airtel did not help and insisted that I call from my mobile which was by now deactivated. Airtel refused to share any information saying that their IT person has left for the day. After much of haggling and running around, Airtel blocked the duplicate SIM. As you can, Airtel demonstrated utmost negligence in issuing the duplicate SIM and thus been a party to the illegal money transfer schemes. If Airtlel has followed standard verification procedures, this would have never happened. Airtel is completely responsible for selling out my identity. Airtel customers should be warned about the security of their personal information

                                    This is Atul Nivrutti Kawale, an Airtel prepaid customer (+91-[protected] --> Gujarat Circle). I have been using this service for almost last 1.5 years. In September 2011, I moved out of India for about 3-4 months for the same I asked at several Airtel Customer Centres regarding activating or deactivating issues with the SIM for I would be disconnected mostly for these months. They all said me there would be no problem at all. Further, when I was in Denmark, I could use my SIM during the initial few days by selecting some local network (Telia DK). Now, I am unable to do so, when I try to manually select the network, it is rejecting every network. I am worried if my SIM is deactivated or something like that. I need the number active urgently as I am also returning to India soon. Please help in this regard.

                                    I had written about this problem to your helpline ID atlease twice but did not get any feedback from them. However I received a acknowledgement mail saying that will be replied within 24 Hrs.
