Dear Sir /Madam , I made online payment for the Airtel HD dish service (Customer ID [protected]) Their customer care service was very prompt in calling me to give options of Dish connections and packages available. Then once the payment was done online 5th sep'13 (Order no: 5430762) , they were prompt in calling and informing that within 48hrs the service would be activated. Another person contacted from their Gurgaon call centre to collect the address and informed the installation would be done by 6th Sep'13 3pm. The Engineering from bangalore office called had took the complete address. But , the installation didn't happen on 6th Sep'13. When I called them for an update , " I received a big heartfelt apology " and was told on 7th Sep'13 by 11:30 am the installation would be done. This assurance was given by Escalation team person in Chennai customer care. But , again the installation didn't happen today morning at 11:30 pm and neither I received that same "prompt response " which I received before making the payment. When I escalated again by 12 in noon , the escalation team person who was unaware of real world mentioned the installation will be ensured within "12 noon " !!! After hearing his heart felt apologies and cloudy assurance Again that I shall receive a call in 10 minutes from the engineering team and the installation would happen by 1:30 pm. Hopelessly I had to wait. Yet again to realize , it was repetition of their "prompt service" and No one called and no one came for installing. My final attempt to contact escalations team in Chennai call centre (Interaction ID[protected]. The lady made a heartfelt apology and gave me Complete assurance yet again that she will make the installation today. This was the 7th person to promise me thus was unwilling to TRUST THE CUSTOMER SERVICE promptness which was prompt in getting the payment done and upselling. - Inability to sustain customer service post purchase. - Inability to provide clear communication - Inability to keep up to to promise / assurance done to customer - Inability to understand customer concern and anguish and giving written statements of Apologies and fake delivery time - Inability to provide Exact solution with time .( The last executive has assured it would be installed on 7th Sep'13 by "EVENING") hope the evening lasts only till today. rgrds, Vivek [protected]

    fake call scam

    got a miss call from +92 this morning at 8 am and as i was asleep i dint even bothered to see the number and called it back...the other person picked up the call and started with NAMASKAR and so on...immediately after 10 or 15 seconds i disconnected the call n now i am worried about any scam.....

    I purchased Airtel 4G Device from Univer Cell Shop, Whitefield Bangalore on 4th August 2013. I paid Rs 1500 for the device on the spot. Even after repeated complaints the device is still not active. It's pathetic customer care service and such a long delay in the service. They could not call my friend for phone verification. Hence, the verification was not complete. They could not do so even after repeated emailing and calling to the persons responsible for verification. I used to think Airtel is good but this is so slow. No wonder there service will be of any worth. It is a waste of time. I think my money is down the drain. I don't expect to get any response from them.

      NEED SERIOUS HELP HERE!!! I have bought a 4g data card connection from an airtel person named Sunil Pandey (Cell No. [protected]) on Saturday 14th September 2013 in Chandigarh. He gave me dongle and a sim card and took 1500 rupees. He said just call airtel to activate your number and it will get activated today only, when i called airtel they told me that no information has been provided to them, so they can not activate my 4g number. Is this a fraud??? What is going on??? Its 18th September and still no activation. I am calling Sunil Pandey and he is telling me daily that it will be activated in 10 mins..., it will be activated in next four hours... this is going on from last 5 days??? Please help Airtel people if you can.

        I am an airtel customer using the number [protected]. On 9th june at 10:29 am I received a message from airtel saying "thanks for downloading video value pack from airtel. You have been charged rs. 65.0." On the contrary, I never authorized any such download. Moreover, when I checked my balance immediately after receiving this message I was shocked that rs. 65.0 had been deducted from my balance. I request airtel to make look into this and make amends by refunding the amount of rs.65.0 as soon as possible. waiting for a response.

        They have reimbursed the amount lost in full almost within few days after the complaint. I thank you for your swift action and service.

          I have my Airtel mobile number registered with DND. But even then, I daily receive promotional calls from various banks. Everytime Airtel Customer Care Executives tell me that they will take some action but nothing done so far. I believe, AIRTEL IS SIMPLY BREACHING DND POLICY SET BY TRAI. Mobile No : [protected] Request the concerned authorities to take appropriate action.

            The Connection 4G data plan for [protected] is not working for last 3 weeks. I get NO(U)SIM , every time I connect. I have called 121, technical support [protected] and walked in to Airtel store at Indranagar 100ft road . This issue is not fixed. I am paying almost 2500 rs every month for this service, very bad customer service and no service as per airtel. Isend email to [protected]@in.airtel.com, Still no response.

                Sir, when i call the customer care and ask that there is a offer in my mobile that i get Rs57 fulltalk time on my main account on recharge with Rs57 is it true. They told me yes. But when i recharge my mobile to Rs57 i get nothing there is no balance in my main account. The give me the balance in my dedicated account. Sir, i already aks twice to customer care that i get my balance in my main account and they said yes. But after recharge they told me that sometime it is given in dedicated account. Sir, i want to get my money back because it's not my fault they give me the wronge information about that Rs57 FullTalk Time pack. Please take a hard action to the airtel survice for this type of behaviour.... And told to get back my money back. My mobile number is [protected]... Sir help me...

                  Dear Nodal Officer, Regarding your reply, I am so upset with your below email insisting me to walk in to your customer agent and I have to write self declaration to obtain my SIM which I was using for more than 5 years, and It was Airtel Customer Care’s Mistake/or purposeful intention, It’s really an unexpected reply from your instead of correcting Airtel's mistake you are tell me to spend my time and I have to pay for it, As per the previous reply from Mr.Humayun from Nodal team with reply to my email dated 03/Sep/2013, He/She advised me to submit the ID proof and I have send same to Nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com accordingly but now your email instructing me to go to customer care and submit my ID proof which is really stressful. However for your information I have recharged with Rs.1000/- thru State Bank Of Travancore(Online Transaction and i have proof of that and even I received SMS from Airtel for Recharging the same) if you really checked my back up or history you will come to know my transactions and the available balance in my Mobile account and also I requesting you to send me the copy of the last transactions. For your Kind information : Several time I have submitted my ID Proof to your agent and its still the same, so just tell me how can resolve this problem and could you please tell me why should I declare the responsibility for the SIM I owned from 05 years; Note : Even I have Police FIR Copy which was used to reissue my same SIM([protected]) when I lost my cell phone in April-2012 and I got replaced from your Airtel outlet in Mysore. I kindly request you to help me resolve this problem, As of now am in Doha, Qatar, where I cannot come to your Airtel Outlet so please help me.                   Sub: Harassment by Airtel in Chennai Circle, T Nagar for Broadband connectiuon by Mr. Karthick.P and team.

                  This is to bring to your notice that I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection in 22nd November 2013 as I got his number from the stickers posted on walls.

                  He told me that You only need to pay 1599 and you net connection will be ready, I asked him are there any more expenses, He told me on 1599 needs to be paid. The same amount was paid to him on 22nd Nov 2013 and on monday i.e.25th Nov 2013, he sends his technical team and they demanded around 1400 for modem, I felt cheated by Airtel and when I called him he said if you have modem then called me else dont waste my time. His behaviour was so rude and unexpected working for such a well branded company.

                  Now I have told him that I will pay the amount of Modem ( i need only normal modem not wifi connectivity) and despite that He is not responding properly and not connecting the modem,
                  I have given 1500 and have lost one week already by the apathetic behaviour of Karthick, His seniors and Selvam, Parthibhan.
                  At times he say I am in mie theater, dont call me. Dont waste my time.
                  It would be great if you can look into the issue and get me the connection ready asap or refund my money.

                    Please provide as much information as possible.. Hi, I have recharged rs60 on 21.08.2013 from www.airtel.co.in.But till date i did not receive any amount in mobile([protected]). Many times i called customer care of AIRTEL they are not at all listening and not reverting money to my account also. When i was talking with english they are started talking with me Tamil and telling connection distrubed could you please check on this issue and if not, possible return my money.My number is [protected].Yesterday i was able to talk with one person he was telling money has been returned to your account but frequently i was checking but money has not been credited also.                           Poor customer service

                          Guys..I WAS CHEATED BY AIRTEL SHOW ROOM AT CAMP ROAD,NEAR SELAIYUR, CHENNAI. I am wondering Airtel shop at camproad near Selaiyur, East Tambaram is their direct shop..or thirdparty. They charge a lot for a sim around 120 rupees. For mobile portability they charge 125 rupees and for micro sim they are charging 125 rupees. However, in Velachery Airtel showroom they said its only 10 rupees for Mobile portability. I was totally disappointed...

Based on the same, I purchased a "Router" for Rs. 2000 cash and opted for the billing plan of Rs. 650 p.m. (3GB data at 4G speed). After a lot of hassles and follow up, the connection was activated. However I was in for a bigger shock at the end of the month, when I received a bill in excess of Rs. 6800. Om checking the same, I found that they have charged "Six months advance rental for Dongle"!!! Firstly I did not purchase any dongle and had paid for the router in cash and secondly had not opted for any six month advance scheme. As per the discussion I had with the sales rep, Mr. Karan he assured me that this is a mistake and asked me to pay a bill of Rs. 732 (650 +12.6% Service Tax) and the remaining would be adjusted automatically. I did as per the same and also raised service requests viz. 52573196 and 52546253 However both the SRs were closed without any consultation with me and on inquiring them they are saying that the billing is correct, although I was assured of a resolution in 24 hours. Further they have disconnected my internet service as well. For your reference my details are as follows:- Airtel 4G LTE no. [protected] My mobile no.                                     Hi,

                                    I have moved my number from Jio to Airtel last 25 days back and within a week Jio sim had been deactivated. But Airtel sim is not activated and it shows the signal strength. When I try to call to any number, it brings to customer care. Customer care is telling like your details is not yet updated and asked me to check with showroom. If I go to showroom, they also telling like, your sim is in pending state, we would send a mail to his higher manager.

                                    But finally I am not getting any solution and for this sim I a not able to receive any call to that number from last 10 days. Also I have given that number as primary in many cases.

                                    I have spent many days with it. Really it makes me high pressure.

                                    Could you please give me an alternate solution that is how to activate that number atleast to another network. currently I am not able to send sms too i.e., if possible how to get port number to change to another network.

                                    Thanks.

                                    PS: also if there is any option to give very bad rating, please give it on behalf of me.
