I had given a cancellation request on 9th December, 2012 for "airtel broadband connection" but they continued generating bill after cancellation date also. Although on January the airtel customer care people called and said that my account has been deactivated and all the due amount was withdrawn as I have not consumed amy data after 10th December 2012. I have paid my last bill on 24th december 2012 for the duration of 11/Nov/2012 to 10/Dec/2012. Now after 9 months I am receiving call from airtel (or the so called airtel money collector person) again about due amount for bills which are after 10th December 2012 although I have given cancellation request before this. Its very irritating daily to receive their call. Please look into the issue and provide me the solution.

    Yesterday on[protected] at morning 7.32 a.m. i have got a call from no. [protected]. Although I have miised the call, but while searching the country code through google i come to know that it is a fake call from Pakistan. I am worried how they have come to know my no. I am blaming it to Airtel, but I request to take preventive measures for the same. Also request Airtle to please check how they are using our network and please send an awareness message to all mobile users. Rgds, Sukanta Seal +[protected]

    To protect all our mobile subscribers from malicious activities which may result in substantial increase in their phone bill, airtel would like to advise the following:
    » Do not respond to any unexpected calls from a number with the +92 or +375 country code.
    » Do not respond to any suspicious missed calls from unknown numbers.
    Do not get lured into any financial transactions or divulge any personal information like IMEI, Bank Account number and other information to callers offering prize money or lottery winnings. Also do not respond to any instructions to dial an international number to get the prize money.
    » This luring may also be done through SMS messages offering prize money and seeking personal details on a specified email ID. Please do not respond to these.
    » Do not respond to any SMS/Email from unknown sources prompting you to call on a number or go to a site offering free download of content/movie clips/pictures.

      Hi, I had called Airtel customer care to cancell my internet connection. I got a response it will take 7 working days and till then your internet will not work and you will have to pay for those number of days. What is this policy???? I spoke to Govinda customer care rep, and he asked me to call 12am mid night as systems are not working. What is this crap. @ Airtel- you guys can listen to the recording. Why I should pay if interent is not going to be working? Is this MONEY MAKING strategy.

        I purchased a new SIM (prepaid connection) of number [protected], directly from Airtel relationship center, Kengeri, Bangalore and they charged me Rs.200 for the SIM and 2g connection. This I purchased on 26th Aug2013 and I was said within 4 days, the SIM will be activated after verifying the documents. After one week when contacted the same relationship center for which I got an answer that the SIM will be activated at end of the day. This also never happened and after that I have to call daily the relationship center contact number and most of the time, I got only poor response - relationship officer will give some excuse or would disconnect the call. Its now 17 days and finally they gave me another contact number saying it was Manager's number and given assurance I would get immediate solution. The guy (Mr.Sharad) who attended the call asked me to call him again after 15 minutes.I tried to reach him after 15 minutes, again the same response of disconnecting the call and not responding for the call. I have made so many calls to Airtel relationship number in this 10 days, and the response is very poor and not able to get a resolution for the new SIM activation. Atleast they should give the proper reason why it was pending. and give a resolution. Even if the customer care manager of Airtel is unresponsive and not responsible, its really frustrating and thinking of the bad customer care of Airtel Could anyone let me know how I can get a resolution for this activation problem or Airtel is well known for this ?           Hello Sir, My name is Ravikanth Patha, Am using Airtel Dongle card with 3G and the Number is [protected]. On 10/9/2013 I saw a offer in pay.airtel.com about there is an offer of Rs. 449 with 2.5 gb 3G data. So, I tried to recharge with Rs.449 using Net banking. The amount was deducted and I got a message about recharge was failure with Transaction Id: 140276. And at the same day in the evening time I recharged one more time for that same number at that time also Amount is deducted and recharge is failed with Transaction Id: 150129. And I call to customer care at that time they said that due to technical reasons transaction failed, So I asked that is this offer is there for Easy Recharge means, they said that It is Only Web Offer So You have to do with Web Only like that they Said to me. On Next Day(i.e.,11/9/2013) Again I tried to Recharge from that same site with same amount for same Mobile number with Debit card the same repeated answer Amount was deducted from my Account and I got message with Transaction Failure of Transaction Id:267862. Totally I lost 3 Transactions and total amount was Rs.1347. So, at last I called to Customer care and asked about the same thing, this time they are saying that 449 Offer is not there it is 6 months past offer and they also said that the site is not updated, present they only having 455 offer with 2 gb data. And also they said that You have to confirm with customer care then only you have to recharge with the amounts displayed in Airtel site.Then I said that what is the use of Web offer close it and remove that site and I given a small class to that customer care person so, they taken a complaint request with Ref.No:CBNRA[protected]. After that today(i.e., 12/9/2013) I got a mail about Rs.449 with 2.5 gb data. Here I shocked when I see that mail, is that Airtel people are thinking that the users are fools or what ever it may be. I rigorously asked that to see about the offer but they didn't check and saying that offer is out of 6 months. I send a mail to [protected]@airtel.co.in but I did not get reply mail also. I need immediate answer about this situation that is the offer is there are not if it is there then why they said like that. and in how many days the amount will refunded.             Hi All,
            I have purchased postpaid Airtel dongle.
            Time of selling the dongle they told me that you will be getting 5GB monthly and amount of dongle 799 INR will be waved off from your first bill so the would be free.
            BUt when I received the Dongle I got only 4GB, after that I received the first bill amount of 1032 INR.When I asked to wave off the 799 INR no one ready to entertain, only call bouncing.I complaint I told by one your seller that I will going to get the 5GB, they said there are no such plans?
            They stopped my dongle and said that first pay your bill and your dongle service will resume.

            I paid amount of 1032 INR to one of Airtel guy who came to my office to receive the payment.I have the bill with me.
            And next month again they sent the bill and amount is 1750INR saying that one extra month rental is added,however my dongle was not in service.
            My airtel dongle number is [protected].
            After that they are calling me from different numbers and threatened me saying that they are calling from Delhi court and will file a case against me.

            I am still ready to pay the one month amount even though I have not used it more then 5-6 days.
            I don't know why they commit and why don't they fulfill it.
            can any one help please.
            I am really disappoint.

            I have made all the said payment and you have not updated your system details yet. I still have received notice from your side.
            Now who is responsible for that, why are you guys not taking care of the updates.
            Here are the details of payment I have made at Airtel center:
            1. Date 5/10/2013 Amount is 1033 INR
            Receipt No-49371
            2. DAte2/11/2013 Amount is 752 INR

            Still you are harassing me for the payment.
            I got a call from customer care, lady was asked few details, like as I said I have paid the first bill 1032 INR but sales guy(whoever is that) lost the check.I after that I got a call almost after a month with increased bill and now the amount is 1750 INR something.
            Now customer care is saying why did not you followed up with the airtel, my question is that why should I follow with the payment, I already given the check to he boy, if he lost the check and somehow not submitted then they should have been called me that time. They did not called me and direct sent the second bill(in this period my dongle was not in service) 1750 INR.
            My question is that why should I pay the extra amount to Airtel when my dongle was not in service and I reported the same to Airtel gallery also.
            At the time of sale they told me the 5GB and amount will get wave off from first bill, now they are saying they confirmed with the sales department no one is said like that.
            This is not happening first time, everyone at time of sale they just want to catch the customer and after that, whatever is happening with me. Now you are asking me to provide the proof, you better knew that will not with me, Because you talk only on phone to catch the customer anyhow.
            If I am doing fraud, what are you guys doing? I paid the first bill that means my intention was to use the dongle, but guys did not provided the check at time and you guys did not followed up even a single time.
            You cut the dongle service when I was 2 days late to pay the first bill, so then what is the purpose to send the second bill with rental amount?
            Can anyone really care about the customers?

              DEAR SIR, I HAD A POSTPAID MOBILE NO.[protected]. IN AUG.13 I HVE CONVERTED TO PREPAID AFTER PAYING ALL DUES AS SAID BY JAMNAGAR AIRTEL OFFICER.                 I mentioned several times to Airtel customer representatives that I had given disconnection request on May13th. And as per the conversation they told that I will billed till May20th (till 7 days after the request). Given this, I should be billed till May20th. Instead of that Airtel did not disconnect the connection. After several calls from me they have finally closed in June and Airtel expects me to pay till June. I have already vacated the place on May15th. Airtel should generate the bill till May 20th. They pain the customers a lot to disconnect. They make so many calls to ask the customer to keep the connection or give it friends.

                    Since 23rd aug 13 I have activated my postpaid plan. My 1st billing date is 5th sep13. So for these days I ll be receiving mobile data on prorata basis. Till 5th I am receiving msg from customer care that the current usage on my no is rs 0 but customer care is saying that they have forwarded me some other msg and they are not willing to waive the charges of rs 386 but I am also not interested in paying the same as I am at the innocent side As a evidence I am forwarding you screenshot of msgs I have received from airtel customer care Please look into this matter.                       Sir, I was a airtel broadband user, from the 1st week of july, i was facing issue with internet connection. I was not getting proper speed and the internet get disconnected in between. Therefore i raised several complain against the issue, but the issue was not solved. i had resed the complain about 3-4 times. Again the issue was not solved. Atlast i had request on 14th of july 2013 for discontinue of services. Please note that the billing date for my connection was 11th of every month. Therefore they disconnested the internet service on 7th of august. when i had requested to discontinue it should be done within 24 to 48 hrs but they took almost 23 days. all my payment is clear. But why do they ask me to make the payment for those 23 days o[censored]nused services. Again, with my last payment of RS. 3000/- . it includes Rs 500 approx additional. The request was submitted at Airtel customer care office @ Karamana Trivandrum. As per the communication from your representatives , I should have received the check of 3000 Rs almost a month back. Even after multiple follow ups at Trivandrum Karamana Customer care center , I haven’t received the check. More than this the approach of your representatives has been really un-professional . This is a case of cheating and a complaint will be lodged for this at Consumer court in a weeks’ time , if there is no satisfactory response from Airtel Nodal office. Make a note this is a corporate connection provided by my company which has close to 6000+ employees using this Service provider.                           Dear Sir, My name is Shailesh Mohan Saxena. I was using Airtel Connection for Internet (NO. [protected]). I have made more then 3 payment without any bill & properly remind at Indira Airtel nagar Outlet to Mis. Varsha as well as the account department that I didn't receive not a single bill form starting to till now. Every time they raise the complain on my behalf with there system and promise me that I will get my all bill in my next bill cycle. After payment of 3rd bill I request him u send me my bill at my maill ID. She update my maill ID and again promise me that I will get my all bill at my mail ID in 48 working hours. But as always I didn't receive my bill, so I inform her, I will not pay not a single paisa nor used your connection till the time I will not receive my all bill. Now 4 month has been passed in between I received the 2 to 3 calls for payment from Airtel Costumer Executive and all the time I convey the same massage. Today I had received a call from a no. [protected]. He told me that today is the case on court in Tees Hajari Court At 5:30 And he introduce him that I am Raj Veer Sing, delhi Tees Hajari Court Section Officer. I was surprise that I never receive any legal notice regarding any thing in my 27er life. He suggest me to talk to an other person from defense Mr. Rajneesh Kumar (No. [protected]). He told me make payment with in 2 hr other wise u will responsible. I am not able to understand whats I need to do please suggest. Regarding these call I have recording with me.                             Hope my issue will be addressed through this forum, I have come here after sending several mails to Airtel and calling more than 50 times to airtel customer care, which is outsourced to the third party , they don’t understand English and i have to repeat the same thing again and again. I have been using airtel services for the past 5 years, I am having a postpaid connection, I am having an unlimited data plan.in the month of may 2013, i received a call from Airtel, she advised me to move to a plan where i could save money and get more calls and also she advised me to move to 1gb plan , i was ok with the calling plan however updated her than i need unlimited data plan and i don’t want to change it at all , more over I told her that I am in a Do not call list. She insisted me to take the plan and told me that as i am always using less than 1gb every month you will not be over billed, to that i have clearly explained her that i need an unlimited plan and i was ok with the calling plan, In the month of Aug my data services got blocked, and they asked to pay INR 4000 to resume my data services, I tried calling several time to AP Airtel call center however it was landing in Karnataka call center and they requested me to call AP call center to resolve the issue. Several times I tried but it reached Karnataka call center. I did pay the amount because i needed the data services as i was in roaming and need to access my business mails, after paying the INR 4000, my outstanding bill came to INR 3000+, I called Airtel call center and explained the issue as it was a sheer misrepresentation and miss selling on the part of the Airtel sales executive. I have requested time and again to reimburse my INR 7000 or adjust in my coming bills; however i have not heard from them at all. Several times i called them but i hear only one voice, we will get back to you, and it has been escalated and we will call you back.this is happening from last two weeks. First couple of calls they never lodged my complaint. I want a senior management calling from Airtel and resolving my issues, they can check my record, i have been paying all my bills much prior to the bill due date and been a loyal customer, this is how they treat a loyal customer. I want the entire bill to waive off and i need to be paid for my mental stress and agony what i have gone through for their utmost UN customer centric approach. I always had high regards for Airtel but with this experience i will tell all my employees to go with any other provider but not Airtel. I want the issue to address at the earliest.                               Hi I have been using post paid connection [protected] since long. I got the bill of 10000rs for the month of JULY As i was going to Hongkong i called customer care to ask for cheaper interet plan and Airtel gave me an Mobile internet international plan of 500rs = unlimited usage per day, so for 5 days thats makes my interbill of 2500 I am ready to pay 2500 plus my all monthly charges which doesnt make my bill nothing more then 4000, however the mobile interet usage billed to me is 5000rs (inspite of taking unlimted access = plan 500per day, without using more then 1 GB) I had really tough time dealing with customer care and i am still explaining my problem with supervisors since 06aug13. Anther example for August Month bill I pay 250 monthly charge for 1GB per month, I never excided more then 1GB, still their is an extra bill of 900 for Mobile internet usage This is rediculas, Now airtel has just closed my number and it says No service Their [protected] cumtomer care number is so disgusting that i cant reach any customer care I am seriously pissed off one should never use Airtel if going abroad Please help me sort out this problem, i would never use airtel again ever.

                                Sir, My Airtel Mobile No. is [protected]. Other than Monthly Plan of Rs. 199/- I have opted for Monthly Internet 2g plan of Rs. 125/- few months back. During end of July 2013, one person from Airtel, called me and explained me that I can go for Rs. 199/- internet Plan which will have unlimited 2G plan. I agreed with him and asked him to replace my present Rs. 125/- plan with this unlimited Rs. 199/- Internet Plan. When I received the bill for the month of July 2013, in the first week of Aug'13, I observed that they have charged both the charges i.e. Rs. 125/- for the entire month of Internet Plan, and Rs. 199/- Internet Plan (though the period is shown as one week, they have charged for the entire month, as I have switched to this plan during the end of the month (July ). I have written several exmails to the customer care, and everytime they replied as if robots are working there, without showing any understanding of my grievance. At last I got fed up writing to these robotical people, and I lastly requested them to deactivate the internet plan of 199/- and keep the original Plan of 125/- . Now this month, I have recieved their bill for the month of August 2013, which again shows they have charged both the plans i.e. 125/- and 199/- internet plans.                                   PHai Complaint regarding airtel digital TV Name Cherian Eapen A/C no [protected] Mobile no [protected] My 1st complaint made on 28th dec 2012 (this complaint almost solved) My name is Cherian Eapen and my customer id is [protected] ,I am using Airtel Digital TV from last two years, my location is in Kerala ,Alleppy (dist) 3 months back I got an SMS from them that my plan is changing, I called customer care and ask for the same they said they will not change without asking me . Before last recharge I confirm from them that they will not change my plan without asking me , but from today I got to know that my package tariff had changed from Rs 172 to 188 per month without my required channels . I ask on call center for this and found terrible response that Rs 172 plan is removed and I have to wait for one month to change to other plan, “I want to know that why they are not changing to lower plan once they are not confirming by the customer , why they are not providing to customer requirements when they change the plan by themselves and how they can change a plan once clients balance available for a plan.” Last plan I was getting all Malayalam , Ten sports and CNBC tv18 with Rs 172 but now I have to pay Rs 188 and I am not getting those channels they given some other channels which I am not required . Now I have pay extra amount for these two channels This is my 2nd complaint (10th sep 2013) After few months again I was getting SMS regarding plan change and earlier plan is withdrawn by them without asking customers, Finally 01 customer care staff given me “super idea” change my plan to A la carte that cost only 168/rs and I can select my own channels, many request I made for changing the same , finally after one week they change my plan to a la carte. From there started my problem i.e. I am not able to change any channels , more than 30 call I made and many e-mail sent to customer care finally i understand that they don’t have any “information” for above matter and they are unable to solve my complaint, daily I am getting SMS “your problem solved” I don’t know my what problem they solved. Changing my plan to A la carte got affected to stop getting some channels. Again I called customer care and I requested to change my A la carte to south pack , As per them now I am not able to go back to previous plan ie not available Now I want to know from airtel , any option other than disconnecting the service (To airtel people “provide some service to customer” if you are getting payment) Regards Name Cherian Eapen A/C no [protected] Mobile no [protected] lease provide as much information as possible...

                                        Airtel used to have 3G Unlimited Plans. Their website still says so pay.airtel.com (Your Circle Recharge--> Bangalore) Last month, I recharged with a INR998/- Datashare plan. (Transaction ID[protected] Amt: 998 :[protected]. On September 4, I noticed that I was being charged for data in-spite of me being on an Unlimited plan and having more than a week before the plan expired! I promptly called customer care who said that there were no Unlimited plans on Airtel 3G! I tried reasoning and tell the representative that their website advertised so. But she was in no mood to listen and simply parroted. I wrote to Airtel Presence but there has been no reply even after a week. A cousin also complained about her experience and sudden removal o[censored]nlimited data on her accounts. She apparently got a bill for 3000!!! on a post-paid unlimited data plan! This is corporate greed at its worst and is blatant cheating. Please tell me about what to do.
