[Resolved]  Airtel Ltd — Deduction of Rs. 10 per day from my prepaid account bearing mobile no. [protected]

Airtel has been deducting a sum of Rs. 10 everyday for some WAP text based service for which i havent even requested, every day i call for teh deduction being done from my pre-paid account inspite of regular complaints to the customer service executive Sagar Shetty, Qadar Quereshi, Kaveri, JYoti, Dinesh, Shobika, Triputi there is no such action taken by them they ignore the call and in between they tell us to be on hold and disconnect the line. Airtel better watch its high time, wont tolerate such kind of ignorance from your end and end to also put a legal suite against you.

I am not using Airtel Live or GPRS but still from my Balance Rs 10 gets deducted and a message comes to me from 64611010 stating...Thanks for using (subscription, Text based services) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You 've been charged Rs 10.

Airtel — Deduction of Rs.10/- towards Fun Zone

My Airtel mobile No. is [protected]. On 27.01.2009 I received the following message from Airtel:

“Thanks for using (subscription, text based services) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You have been charged Rs.10/-. Enter Fun Zone http.//igmobi.com”.

I have never activated this service.

An amount of Rs.10/- was deducted from my available balance and from 27th onwards an amount of Rs.10/- per day is being deducted from my available balance. I contacted Customer Service on 27th January itself and informed that I have never activated this service. They have promised that this will be deactivated and the amount of Rs.10/- will be refunded to me. I got a refund of Rs.10/- on 28th January. However, an amount of Rs.10/- was deducted again on 28th. Again on contacting the Customer Service, I have been told that this facility will be deactivated within 48 hours and the amount deducted will be refunded. However, so far this facility has not been deactivated and the amount has not been refunded to me. The deduction is continuing till date.

You are requested to immediately deactivate this facility and refund the amount deducted from my account.

20.55hrs for some downloading charges & also the message has been disappeared i.e. the message is not in the inbox.

And also i have not used any downloading facility

I WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE THE PAYMENT FOR FIRST TIME BECAUSE ONLINE PAYMENT FACITILY WAS NOT RESPONDING. FOR A 1WEEK . I HAVE REPORTED THIS THROUGH MAILS .THEN I REGISTERED MY NUMBER WITH HDFC BANK ..AND ON 18TH I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT OF RS 1300 THROUGH HDFC CREDIT CARD .AND THEY HAV

this is in reference with the complaint register on 26 june 2009, today i got the call from airtel customer care stating that the line has been disconnected for dnc purpose, i have the mail of airte on 25 th stating that line was disconnected due to nonpayment and customer wish.

what is going on i dont know, i m having all the evedince with me, i got fooled by airtel fraud co
would there be any action taken aganist company or all this is only to fool the customer

al ready 6668 complaint had launched against airtel co, noting has happen

Airtel Ltd — Number barred without reason.

My mobile number is[protected].

I have been using your services since last 7 years but they way i have got the treatment in last 7 days is very disappointing. My number has been deactivated without intimating me is this what we say customer service?

I got a call on 16 Sep 09 from Airtel to re submit the document for my this prepaid connection from one of your agency, number from which call recvd was :- [protected]. As i wanted to know why my documents are required suddenly after me using this connection for so many years i spoke to your Airtel Employee :- Shreya on [protected], he informed me that as this is require by govt i need to submit it. With all the respect i submitted my Passport xerox along with 2 Photos to the agency person after a rigorous follow up with him 4 days on 20 Sep 09..

Now Suddenly my Number was terminated on 16 of this month. when i asked the reason for the termination. i got the information that due VTM negative my number has been terminate. i spoke to Shreyas immediately on [protected] and he told me that he will immediately get the line started on 16th itself.

Till date my line has not been started. Also Shreyas has not answered my call post 16th .. Whenever i call he sends me a Message that He is busy in a meeting but never calls back.

* When will my line get Started?
* What about the balance of Rs.148 which i had in this number?
* Does Airtel doesn't have any sincerity for there customers? if yes then why my calls have been ignored by your employees and what actions would be taken for the problems i have faced in this 4 days where my I/C & O/G access have been withdrawn without any mistake from my end?

I Have resubmitted my docs today again at your Tilak Road office - Vega Communication. Please let me know how much more do i have to followup to get my line started. Is this my mistake that i have been loyal to you guys and have been using the services from last 7 years.

Please try be in my place and then look at the problems i have faced.. Hope to get a Verbal & Written Clarification from you regarding this complaint.

Airtel — SMS Services without my permission

Recently I bought Prepaid Airtel GSM Number.

I havent been subscribed to any service, but today my prepaid number is started to get charged without my permission from AlEntertainment for Cricket Pack.

They sent me a sms to stop is but that number is not working or fake and also I dont speak Hindi.

My number is [protected].

Please recharge my money back. There are almost 50 sms which cost Rs 5 per each.

This is a big robbery for every new customers!

Sir,my friend named R.B.Lukade working in W.Rly. as J.E. Railway has given him 1 CUG phone no.[protected]. On dated 2/6/10 at 9:42:31,one message came from 54321 that "thanks for downloading Java Games from Airtel you have charged rs 99.Enjoy games club ! this 99 rs deducted from his account without asking any service.please ask the company and do needful for refunding his amount.Thanks

airtel ltd — Irregular Recoveries

1. I have been customer of AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICES since June 2010... I had asked for NDNC services in the first week of Dec 2010..which was not noted,. again on 15 Dec 2010 a request was made (Ref no [protected]) .. Mr Hari Om and Mr Shiv who were the customer service executives were also spoken to. However till now no action was taken...

2. In addition they call and message from some local tele no so that customers call back not knowing that these numbers do not belong to the company...when customers call back to check the number they are immediately charged for some service which is not known .. .Each time ,the service Executives tell lies that they are terminating the services charged and the money will be refunded.Which has not happened till date.

3. The same thing happened with me in which they charged me for 'Friends Chat' .....this is sheer cheating the customers...Last month I was subscribed for the above said service for which I had requested to discontinue which was not obliged. The same service was again renewed on 13 Feb 2011 for which I had again requested on 14 Feb 2011, which the customer service personnel lied to me and did not take note of the request and i again called up in the evening and Mr Veeru spoke in a very rude manner....He too refused to take any action.

I am extremely unhappy and disgusted wit AIRTEL SERVICES

Airtel Ltd — MNP rejection

Hello there,

My name is Sadanand Hegde, and I have two airtel Pre-paid connection numbers being[protected] and[protected].

I had opted for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) from Airtel to Aircell. After completing all the formalities, I got a message from Aircell that due to ' subsistence of contractual obligations' the MNP is rejected by Airtel. I have no contractual obligations with Airtel, as it is prepaid connection. Just to harass the customers, Airtel is playing this type of tricky game and making customers like me to suffer.

I request the forum to look into this and take appropriate action against Airtel, so that no other customers are harassed like this.

airtel ltd — Adding t0p up charges without asking for services

I am having Airtel landline broadband connection for the past nine years.I had chosen Rs599/- sceme. The average bill per month willbe around Rs 669/-When I got my Dec2010 bill a sum of Rs400 was added as Topup charges. When I took up the matter with Airtel I was told the matter has been informed to the billing section and it will be sorted out . Airtel till date have not rectified the mistake and today I got March2011bill a Sum of Rs500/- added as top up charges. When I complain I am assured the matter will be set right but never this happens. My phone no[protected]

Hii,

today ,15th july 2011, friday at 02:38 PM, i receieved a call from [protected]. It came to my knowledge that call is from pakistan. Although i missed the call, but i am concerned about how did the calling person got my number. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter.

Airtel Ltd — Received Missed call from +92 code

Hii,

Today ,18th August 2011, Thursday at 12:09 PM, i receieved a call from +[protected]. I didn't noticed the country code and I have try to call it back and then I realize it was not India number and I ended the call in 4 seconds. It came to my knowledge that call is from Pakistan. However,I am concerned about how did the calling person got my number. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter.
