Airtel — Airtel Menace - DWN_PRM
On July 7th @ 6:30am I started getting SMS messages saying “Thank you for using Airtel Services” from the number “64611010“. This continued till 7:07am and it was a total of 32 SMS with Rs. 10 each (Rs. 320).This was being charged saying I downloaded some WAP content which obviously I haven't. I'm not crazy to download something at 6:30 in the morning. Call to customer service & corporate care has been useless. I have been struggling for last 2months with this issue. Also I came to know that there are so many people facing the same issue so decided to give some more visibility to the issue.

I have a postpaid connection. No is [protected]. I have asked the Customer Care people to redirect the bills to my husband credit card number. They have updated their records. Now they had disabled all the services of my mobile. I have around 8 SRs created and SMsed to me but no activation has been done.

I am willing to change my bill plan and as I talked to your customer care executive 25 days before regarding to the activation of same plan and your executive advised me to forward request for same plan before 2 days of your bill generation date. So, now I was talking to your executive and I am getting information that minutes are descresed by 350 and earlier that was 500minutes. So, I just want to put my message through this mail if you people can provide that plan with 500 minutes that would be highly appricated. So, please do the needful.

this complaint is regarding rude and uncoperative atitude of airtel customer service outlet Emmtel Solutions faridabad...people here are not at all helpful and have an atitude as if we are asking them for money without paying them...

I have changed my bill plan last month on 2 9 2008 wrt
Reference Number 18175171
in the bill plan monthlt charges was Rs 995 and that was converted to bill plan RS 149
pls ref to the Bill Period
26 Aug 2008 to 25 Sep 2008
in the bill u have charged the rental the whole Rs 995
since i have informed u on 2 9 08 itself i belive u have charged full or failed to reduce the mothly charges
say i have informed you on 2nd so according to the bill period frm 26 to 2ns say 7 days so the monthly rental reduces to 7 by 30 X 995 equals Rs 232. ie u have charged an excess of Rs (995 minus 232) equals Rs762 So please do the needfull at the earliest

regarding complaint 2 i was contacted buy ur executive to my mobile to change my plan to the above Rs 995 monthly chrg plan since i was making a biil of over Rs 1000. convincing me that it was better but as u se my bills from august to sept 2008 it has resulted a loss of nearly a thousand rupee a month. so misguiding me into this. trusting ur company i had blindly agreed to your reps words which i think u have less or no ehtics. pls reply to mail mail id

customer care officer in charge Mr. sachin Patole @ airtel office at malad is just not receiving any calls from any of the numbers I have tried at least from 10 different numbers from last three days his cell is only ringing and multinational like airtel has not included in their training programme to call back the numbers which are missed calls this just one example of how airtel is working

I was having Airtel Mobile # [protected] under advance rental scheme. Airtel started following charges every month without any information :-
1. Value pack "Ring Tone"
2. Downloading charges
I requested customer care to cancel the services, but no body was listening. I was forced to pay whatever amount AIRTEL is charging. Finally airtel deactivate this number.
