Dear Concern I purchased a prepaid Simcard Whose no. is[protected] and Mob. No. is [protected] on 14 Dec 2007 covering 2 years incoming facilities in amount of Rs 560.00 only, from local Agent(shop ) . I submitted documents i.e . photograph & voter card along with application form. This document submitted to airtel showroom At Behind PVR Vikas Puri Delhi -59 on dated 29 DEC. 2007 . After that my Mobile was activated and serving smoothly but all of sudden from 15 Jan 2008 Evening a Message received in mobile that sim registration failed and service completely stopped then i went to show room and contacted showroom incharge , according to his suggestion again i deposited doc as voter card photo & Declaration form along with application form I would like to draw your kind attention to take personal initiative and get it activate shortly Thanking You Bharat Bhushan [protected] Was this information helpful? | |

Airtel — Prepaid card never activated
I bought a life time validity Prepaid card for Rs.250/- in the month of Oct 2008. They wanted proof of residence and id proof. I gave it to the dealer and after that only they sold the prepaid sim card to me. They said it would be activated within 2 days.And, yes, it was activated within 2 days. My number is: [protected]. But with in the next two days, it was disconnected without any intimation. When ever I tried to dial a number, I got the message 'you have been disconnected because you have not submitted proof of residence and proof of id documents'. though I have given it to them already even while buying it, they now disconnected it without any warning. Even the customer support is not reachable. They just did not want the customer.
I had to go after them and gave them all the papers for the second time. This time it was done with the Airtel office at RS Puram in Coimbatore. They said within two days the connection will be restored.
Nothing like that happened. After four days, I approached them again. They said that I need to contact the regional office and they do not have any information on the status of the connection. By this time, the phone showed a message saying no service.
I contacted the zonal office of Airtel, they asked me to give the papers again. For the third time, i gave the papers. They said, within one week your connection will be restored. One week passed and no connection came up.
I approached the regional office again. And they said, the sim card is gone and it cannot be reactivated. it is a life time one and I do not understand why this was done. No body knows why this was done.
What a cheating game, Airtel plays!! Since it is Rs.250/- only they are sure that nobody will take them to the court or pull them to consumer forum!!

I HAVE PURCHASE NEW PREPAID CONNECTION ON 06/03/2009 THROUGH MS MARKETING AGENCY BUT TILL DATE THE MOBILE NO NOT ACTIVATED KINDLY LOOK IN THIS MATTER ACTIVATE MY SIM CARD IMMEDIATELY WITH OUT FURTER DELAY.

AirTel — Prepaid card activation
I purchased a prepaid sim of Airtel Life time M. NO. [protected] on payment of Rs. 100 from Shri Anand Telecom, CR246 Lakshminagar, New Delhi 110092. After about Three days sim Start Working & I recharged the same with Rs. 100 from the same shop.Next day it stopped working. i called customer care he told me due to verification failure your no. is permanently blocked & your balance is ceased by Airtel.
Then i enquired about it from Shopkeeper he also told that my no. can never be reactivated.
The Reason for negative verification was that Shopkeeper asked me two of my friends no's for verification & I provided him with the same.
But when Airtel Representative call him he did not ask my friend about me. He asked weather you have taken a no. from Airtel & asked him about Address confirmation. & his way of talking was very Rude.
In all this I didn't understand How i am guilty. & how can Airtel cease all customer account money.
I want some urgent action should be taken against Airtel & Shri Anand Telecom.

Airtel Mobile — delay in providing duplicate sim and than delay in actvating it
i got a duplicate sim on saturday evening and it is still not activated. from airtell office it is said the sim will be activated within 6 hrs. But its not activated even after 24 hours. and customer care was not able to give any satisfactory anwersAirtel Sim Card — sim card is not activated from when i puchase (2 month) to till the date
hii got sim card before 2 months from lowerparel shop, but till it is not activated, i complained so many time to the shop but dint get any result, then i call in customer care no and the person told me that this is not a local no its delhi's no, i told him that i got it from mumbai only so how cant it possible. and now i just dont want this sim after those harasment i gp to that shop again to get back my all proff papers that i submited with aplication, but he is avoit me evry time.

My airtel number is [protected]. This card having validity upto 1 year.I have not using this number since 2-3 months. 2 days ago I inserted this sim card in my mobile but its not working. It displayed that sim card is unregister. So I talked to the airtel customer care(121) two times about this problem. They answered me that TRIE has diclared the rule that if you not using your card means not doing any incoming or outgoing calls for 90 days from your card than your card will expire. Your company’s customer care executives maheshbhai and supervisors Faruk ansari and Dipak dode told me that any cellular company like Vodafone, Idea also have that rule. I have recording of that communication. I called 27th June at 11:56pm and 28th june 12:21am for 13:36 minutes and 18:31 minutes respectively. Your company’s customer care executives told me that any cellular company like Vodafone, Idea also have that rule so I also checked in these companies but they told me that there is not any conformation from TRIE that if you not doing any incoming or outgoing calls from your card then your card will expire. So I request you that please give me the information about my problem and solve my problem as soon as possible.
Another thing is that my second number is [protected] which I have purchased from Bombay. This card’s validity expire on 20th July 2009. I have not using this number means not done any incoming or outgoing calls from minimum 6 months still this number is active. I also visited the airtel center nearby L.G Hospital maninagar ahmedabad on 29/6/2009. I told them about my problem but they are not giving me sufficient answer. Your center’s employee have not good manners. The employee Jaimin is not talked with me properly and said that give your complain and he will send my complain to Bharti Airtel Ahmedabad. So I also write a complain there and I have a photocopy of that complain. Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

Airtel Prepaid Connection — Fraud by the authorised dealer
I am using Airtel mobile Phone No. [protected] since 1.11.2003 on pre paid basis. On 16.4.09 I approached the authorised dealer of Airtel at Showroom No.17, I Block market Sector 12 Noida 201301. He asked me to get it recharge for life time by paying Rs.99 and get it recharged for what ever amount I may like. I said OK get it recharged for life time for Rs.99 and also add Rs.500 for the talk time. He gave me the receipt for the same also His receipt No. is 550 dated 16.4.09. I again paid Rs.500 somewhere in the month of September 09 for adding the amount for the talk time. But in the last week of Nov.09 I started getting telephne calls from the Airtel office that the validity of my phone is expiring on 2.12.09 and I should get it recharge before 2nd Dec.09. I approached the dealer as to why I am being asked to recharge when there is a sufficient amount in my account. He said I may not be using the phone. I told him to check my account he can find out that I am continoously using this phone. Even number of international have also been made through this phone. He checked it an found it correct. Then the lady sitting there said she cannot help and advised me to take up the matter with the Airtel and refused to attend me and solve my problem. Since their behaviour was very rude I approached the other dealer and got it recharged for Rs.2009 with a talk time of around Rs.1800 and validity upto 2nd December, 2011. This charging of Rs.99 for life time validity is a fraud with a Retired Central Govt. official and also a Senior Lady citizen. I would request to take suitable action against the dealer and ask him to apologize for his misbehaviour with my husband who has gone to enquire in the above matter. DEAR SIR/MADAM

Airtel/ Prepaid — activation of sim
I recieved my duplicate sim , after, I lost my sim. The service provider told me that it would be activated within 4 hrs. But even after 24 hrs,it is not activated. On calling to customcare, they are saying that no request for activation has been sent. Tell me now, Whom to complaint!42%
