Hi,

I have provided standing instruction to Airtel using my standard charted credit card for Bill payment.
In december , My card got expired and Airtel person called me and told to provide new Standing instruction with xerox copies of front and back of my credit card. Airtel sent a person to collect this in 22/11/07 and I provided these details to that person. In January first week 2008 , I got call from airtel saying that they didn't received the documents that I have provided to their representative.

After that I had more than 20 mail communication and I made around 15 customer care calls but still no one knows where the credit card xerox sheets went. The important thing they are not able to understand is that if the back side of credit card falls in to some one hand , they can misuse my credit card.

Finally today I went to Airtel Head office in Bannergatta Road, Bangalore and the security posted there told me that office has shifted to Arekere Gate. I went there also. Then the customer care person told me that I have to go back to head office in Bannergatta Road and they will tell me that where the documents are now.

I don't know what type of customer care this is. Airtel should change the name to Customer Dare service.

The following were my experience with airtel customer care ( emails, 121 call and the direct customer care center),

1. They don't know to read the mail written in English. Once one customer care replied to me saying that we understand that you are talking about rate plan change. We need below documents.

2. Another mail reply on the document missing was that, please give the xerox of credit card once again and they sent me a list of places where I can give this. Don't know whether they want me to give xerix to all Airtel office in Bangalore or not.

3. Once when I called on 121, the girl put me on hold for half an hour saying that she will tranfer it to her manager who will answer my concern and never turned back.

4. Two times they cut the calls.

5. Arekere Airtel office , they were confused on what to do with my complaints. It looks like no one knows what to do when a complain arises or whom to contact for fixing the issues.


Because of their irresponsible behavious and because even after one month , they didn't find out where my document went, I cancelled my credit card. SCB told me that they will charge 200 rupees for new card.

Unless Airtel pay that money, I will not make airtel bill payment.

Do any one know any government complain cell where I can complain agaist Airtel.

Xerox — Credit card

Dear Sir,
I have an account with ICICI bank which I have taken on 2007 oct: After few months I have applied for credit card also. Some varification came to me in one month time. But still I have not received any card or atleast any feed back from your side. Being a company like ICICI which is first in customer satisfaction, I can't even imagine the worst support which you have given me for the same.

Airtel — unaccounted bill

My present bill for my postpaid mobile no. [protected] for the duration of 26th March-26 April is showing international out going sms charge of 85/- which i never made.Moreover on my mobile ISD is also not activated.Secondly the Airtel people have also adjusted excess amount for last two consecutive month of amount 195 and 143 rs respectively.This time they are persisting that i have to pay the amount.I AM SUFFERING FOR THE LAST THREE MONTH OF THEIR FALSE BILLING AT FIRST AND THEN ROLLBACKING FROM THEIR OWN STATEMENT.It is higly intolerable and i must be compensated for my mental agony.

    I think Airtel- verification agent are un-educated, They met me twice for verification at my office. Finally I got sms, that due to negative verification , your connection is discontinued.
    Now outgoing call has been blocked.

    After I complaint to Airtel office regarding this, they say they will come for re-verification after 5 days. Its really frustrating. Airtle is such in-efficient organization.
    I don't know what will happen after 5 days.

      Respected Sir,

      I am Vijay Kumar Jain, Shop Keeper in Pink city and my shop is situated in Heart of Pink City at Corner of Choura Rasta & Tripolia Bazar, Jaipur

      I applied for PCO of Airtel connection of Coin Box on 15th January, 2008 and make payment of Rs.1500/- to your representative Mr. Avi Gupta ([protected]) and he issued me a Receipt No.70147 and promised me that your connection will starts within 48 hours but till today (1st February, 2008) my connection did not started.

      After 48 hours I contacted with Mr. Avi Gupta and he again promised me that tomorrow your connection will be start but nothing has been become…….

      After that whenever I call Mr. Avi Gupta then he will provide other representative name and number and intimate me to contact with that like Mr. Sanjay Banal [protected], Mr. Bheemraj[protected], Mr. Chetan[protected] etc……..

      Your representatives are not responsible for reply and no body is responsible to solve problem. Just your representatives are only providing other representatives number and making customer FOOL. If you will be at my place then what action will you take ………. ?

      Please suggest me what should I do ……….?

      Hope you will definitely do the needful at the earliest and also intimate me accordingly.

      I am recharged Today the amount of Rs.900/-. I will checked to call 121. But the Computer Voice telling the total amount Rs.1485.99 only. Balance Amount Rs.14.01 is Missing. But Not Called to any other after recharging. What is the reason to the cut of amount. I need your reply.

      We had purchased airtel coin box for our campus, and given for service. Now the number[protected] has been disconnected and given to some other person in karur. When enquired at the customer care number[protected], they say that we have to ask the person from whom we bought the coin box. Now that there is no specific dealer, we are unable to recharge the same. We cant go for a new coin box connection, for there was no intimation for disconnecting the number. Kindly recharge the coinbox with a new number atleast in the same old box. In this regards, whom should we contact?

        hi
        I am regular user of airtel prepaid mobile from 1.5 years. On 17/01/2008 bol bol pack was activated without subscription and they didn't tell anything nor sent sms about it.
        when I contact customer care they asnwer that we can not accept your complaint. The person was prabhat(superviser) from ahmedabad bharti telecom branch. so what should I do for getting my money back?

        Due to my complain is under process from 07/12/07 to 19/12/07 so I had contact to my retailer Mr. Ketanbhai , Tanna STDPCO bhayavadar, T-upleta, D-rajkot for taking e-mail address for complain so he contact to his superior but he also fail. So from internet I am taking your mail address and complain to you.
        So, This is your kind information and necessary action. Total of 7 time I contact to you but my complain is pending and waiting for your reply Please help me……….

        I am realy sorry to say that the services provided by airtell are not satisfied as it was earlier. i am agree with the above commpainer.It happens with hundred of people. i have been a regular user of this service since five years. I had so many bitter experiences. i would like to mention the new one.I had the post paid connection no [protected] in the name of my husband Darshan singh. second no [protected] and third pre paid number [protected] are also in the name of darshan singh. As the plan for the first number did not suit me and i got it converted into pre paid on december 26,2008. i had paid the balance amount and recharge amount against my previous number [protected] on the same day.but till the date inspite of my repeated requests activation to this number has not been done which is painful for me. can u do little favour for me.

            Airtel Mobile — call prolem

            For the last couple of days most of my incoming calls are not coming through. The caller gets a message as out of reach or switched off. today even my outgoing calls are not getting through. My no is [protected]. I am in bangalore. Since this is happening too often i am planning to switch to other network unless this is rectified immediately.

              i hve the problem with airtel i had one airtel lifetime connection according to airtel they only deduct service tax for recharge voucher.

              on 29/01/08 i got the message from airtel that recharge with 39 RS and ur STD Call rate will be reduced to1.25 paise to all bihar for 30 days on 31/01/2008 i recharged my cell by that scheme. on 01/02/08 i recharged my that number in wich i got that scheme by 25 rupees voucher at tht time before recharged my balance was 0.74 paise after reacharges i got 19.99 paise according to AIRTEL they didnt charge processing fees from lifetime users but that time they charge.After that i talked with one of the executive of airtel they said u recharge by 39 rs thts why we charge processing fees from you but they cheat customer they didnt mention this kind of conditions in that sms that if you recharge by 39 rs we will charge processing fees from you.

                My Mobile no. is [protected], you have deducted Rs. 25 from my mobile towards hallo tune and this is happened second time, in first time I have got after calling so many times, it happen again today, I have called to pune customer care today but your customer care is useless and third class , I have never seen customer care like this . they told me you will not get balance. Back, I have never told you to activate hallo tune why you charge that without my permission. You don’t have any authority to charge that.

                  I am Padmanabh S your(Airtel) customers from last 3 years. I have done business of nearly 4 lakhs having two telephone booths. My telephone number is 429335multiple booth. Due to my personal inconveniency I could not run the booth for 3 months that is from September to November. After that I have enquired about the payment in udupi with the branch manager Mr.satish Naik and also with Mr. Praveen they told me to pay the telephone bills. According to their direction I have paid the bill on 21/11/07. But till now they have not connected my number. So many times I have visited the airtel office but they are not giving me the proper information. Further if I call them also they are not picking the call. So please give me faithful information.

                    Airtel — irresponsible attitude if CREs

                    I have been using Airtel as my mobile service provider for the last five months or so. I switched over from one of its competing network providers in the hope of getting better services. Unfortunately, airtel has not been able to live up to its big brand name.
                    I have been making calls to UK very frequently in the past few days and therefore required a cheaper tariff plan. I called the airtel customer care in the hope of getting some help regarding the same.
                    Airtel customer care gave me a plan of getting a recharge of Rs. 47 (no talk time) . This was supposed to reduce my call rates to UK (mobile) to Rs 2.99/min as specified by the customer care executive. On getting the recharge done, I discovered that my call rates were the same as earlier ( Rs 9.2/min). I called the customer care again just to discover that the recharge was meant for UK landlines and not cell phones. I very well remember my first call to the customer care during which I was specifically told that my call rates to UK mobiles will be reduced to Rs 2.99/min. No heed was paid to my previous call and my memory as well. The customer care executive gave me a new plan- recharge with Rs 79 and call rates to UK mobiles will be Rs2.99/min. The next day I went to the market again and got a recharge of Rs 79. I made my next call to UK after a gap of 15b mins and discovered that the call rates hadn’t changed. I called the customer care again. After a long argument I was told that I made the call before getting the recharge done. Assuming that there was some kind of a delay in the recharge I thanked the executive and hung up, satisfied that my new tariff has now been activated. After half an hour or so I made another call to a UK mobile just to discover that my call rates are still the same. Once again I called the customer care. After a series of ‘may I put your call on hold’ I was told that the services would be activated in four hours. I waited for four hours, made my next call to a UK mobile. Nothing had changed . The call rates were the same. Yet again I called the customer care just to discover that my call didn’t get through. I used a friend’s phone and called the customer care, , gave them my query and my call was put on hold for 5-8 mins after which the call got disconnected. I tried calling again but didn’t get through. After trying the customer care a number of times I gave up. Next, I used another friends number and the next piece of information I got was that this recharge was also meant for UK mobiles. At the end of all this, I just have three major concerns-
                    1) Why does airtel have 2 recharges Rs47 and Rs 79(both without talk time) for the same purpose i.e. to reduce call rates to UK landlines??
                    2) Why arent the customer care executives trained properly trained??
                    3) Why arent the customer’s problems being taken care of??

                    I have made complaint in airtel for my office address

                    but it seems to fall on deaf ears
                    A complaint (reference no. 56663665 dated 11.06.14) has been registered regarding very very poor network in my area o[censored]sage where Airtel representative had confirmed the improvement in the service will be done within next 4 days. Several calls had been received during first few days from different representative of Airtel. But till date neither they have visited the site nor the service has been improved whereas bill amount of Rs. 900-1200 have been charged every month where major portion comes from call drops as well as not proper listening.

                    I fail to understand that despite repeated follow ups from customer care and repeated promises of improving the network, the Airtel authority have chosen to remain silent. I can only assure that such things defame Airtel and do not contribute to any of company’s endeavour.

                    Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible else. My 50-55 colleagues using CUG, facing the same problem.

                      We have toll free numbers [protected] and [protected] and the numbers are being used as a Helpline for the Saathiya Program, Providing Reproductive Health advice and Family Planning Counseling.

                      It is regretted that despite the above two numbers being Toll free, an Airtel subscriber (Mobile telephone & PCOs) who calls on either of the above numbers, is being charged. We have made several comlaint in this regard to BSNL and Airtel, but with no result.

                      Kindly redress our grievance by the ensuring that these numbers are toll free from Airtel telephone lines as well.

                      We look forward to your kind co-operation in this regards.

                        I, Shyamkrishna Nath Tiwari, was using one Mobile Phone Number[protected]. The telephone was lost. Then I approached AirTel Office at Gorakhpur for reactivation. One person named Mr. Praveen took Rs.250/- and issued a new sim card telling that it will be activated.

                        Even after a lapse of more than ten days the number[protected] has not been activated and it is not accepting any re-charge coupan.I have purchased a Validity Card of Rs.399/- and that is also going to be waste as that number has also been given to Gorakhpur Office staff Mr. Praveen.

                        Kindly help me in getting my phone Number[protected] reactivated. I have daily made a lot of Calls to Mr. Praveen but waste.

                          After one and half month, my Airtel SIM is not activated by your customer care. I have contacted customer care on several times personally, but nobody helped me. I meet with a gentleman named Sanjeev Sandalbar at your Customer Care Centre situated at Gandhi Maidan, Patna, who also not helped me. He misbehaved me and suggested that I can apply for other mobile connection like BSNL, Aircel or Reliance, but not Airtel. In getting Airtel connection, there is lots of problem. Sir this attitude will harm on your company reputation. For activation of SIM, one and half month is too much sir.

                          I want to know that what is my fault and why your local people not cooperating me?

                          Sir, after all I may be your valuable customer and this is your duty to help me in getting my connection activated.

                          Kindly enquire in this matter and take appropriate action and fix a responsibility and accountability to that person who involved in this whole episode and inform me accordingly

I have purchased an Airtel (Bharati Airtel Ltd.) mobile prepaid SIM card (Cost Rs. 99) & activation for lifetime (Rs.298) again top up for Rs. 30, with handing over the required document & money to retailer Mr Rakesh Kumar, Badal pay phone, Rajgir Dist. Nalanda Bihar on date.27.072008. The SIM was active for 15 days only. When I consult retailer he told to re-submit the documents & again I resubmitted the documents. Latter I came to know that my SIM registration is failed & it cant be activated for which i spent Rs.427 and lot of my valuable time.

                                We had procured the above mentioned mobile number along with 2 other numbers on the 16th January 2008 for our Company. We had requested activation of ISD facility (and International Roaming) on one of the numbers.

                                We have made at least 20 calls to Airtel Customer Torture Numbers (121,[protected], have visited your Customer Harassment Center a few times to get the ISD services activated. Yet, our efforts have been in vain.

                                Just to prove a point we picked up a fresh connection from Vodafone and the ISD facility got activated the same day. It is no wonder that Airtel is vehemently opposing number migration. If number migration is allowed, I doubt Airtel will be able to retain any sensible customer.

                                    There is a complaint against Airtel (U.P. West). I find that HELLO TUNE is active on my mobile ph. When I contacted on it’s customer care, there was a lady, miss. Kour. I asked her, how Hello Tune is active on my ph. named without my request. She replied, it may be, while you dial a ph. No., at same time you push no. 4 and that no. is for that HELLO TUNE. Again I said, pl. don’t send any SMS or any call, which is for advertisement. It’s your mistake. I asked, my mistake, how? I don’t know. Than I requested to her to forward a complaint about it. She said, you will pay the money, and complaint can’t be forward against it. She talked very badly, I feel, I am helpless. I can’t sleep, I feel very upset. Really, I can’t express my emotions. After that, I said ,I will closed my no. She said, first paid your bill, closed it. I have been this no. for last 3 years. But, this time, I am feeling bad. I can’t sleep, I am hearing her roundly voice.
                                    Than, I contact Airtel Amroha branch, and told about this. She said, you will pay the charge of this; you can close your ph. How can they do it?

                                    registration of my flexi sim has been rejected . this sim i have taken from brij telecom (mathura) phone no [protected] sim no[protected] so kindly please activate my sim.
                                    it seems airtel is dire need of funds, hence they are not stopping services when requested to terminate the services. i had visited the airtel office in apr 08 to terminate my airtel connection no [protected].the connection is still not stoppedand i am geting regular bills once again it is requested to disconnect and stop the services forthwith.
                                    Last month an offer was introduced by Airtel in which a customer would get Airtel to Airtel talktime of Rs.1500 on recharge of Rs. 156.But now, the talk value has been reduced to Rs. 748 without any notice.I think, the marketing department of Airtel is clearly taking advantage of the customers' helplessness.

When I called up customer care, they said sorry and deactivate it, but no refund of the amount charged.                                     You are not the only one to suffer in the hand of these fools of airtel. I had a post paid mobile connection of Airtel for which i had subscribed to 444 rental scheme since august 2006 as i am a heavy mobile user. Now in month of February 2008 my job got changed and my new company provided me mobile connection and landline phone. So in April 2008 i asked Airtel customer care to diconnect my number. They told me that they cant do in on phone and i have to go to their neirest office and given them the request. I did the same at their Vaishali sector 4 office. They at first tried to pursuade me not to disconnect and all that. But i was firm, so they told that in next 24 hours i will get call on my alternative mobile number confirming my disconnection. Next day i got a call from airtel, he tried to pursuade me not to disconnect my airtel mobile no as i am a premium customer. But i was firm. So he told he will do the same. But after many days and reminder it didnt happened. Then their bill came for the month and a call came for payment of bill. I told them that i had requested for disconnection but it has not been done which is airtel fault and i have not used it only rental bill is there. So i will not honour the bill and hence not pay the same. I asked them to immediately disconnect but nothing happened. For the next 1 month i continued to get their calls for payment and inspite telling them to disconnect. Then as i needed the mobile handset, i removed the airtel sim so that i can use the handset. After that in month of Sept, 2008 i got a call saying that they are sending me legal notice on me for non payment of Rs. 1340. I had paid more Rs. 30000 in 20 month i was customer with them, and had dynamic limit of Rs. 12500. If i had an intention of cheating them i would have used their 12500 limit. But as an honest customer i asked them to close my mobile as i had got new connection. But you can see the greed and cheating of Airtel, they want to earn money for free by not disconnecting the mobile and harass the ex-cutomer by sending leagl notices and all types of calls throughout day and night. God save cheat company and Mr. Sunil Bharti who runs such a cheat organisation.I have decided that though Rs. 1340 is too small an amount for me i am not going to bow down before the wrong practices and cheating of Airtel and hence will not pay them and will use all the means to fight them.

On 8th Day Mr. Edwin, said to give a call to Mr. Guna[protected], When I given a call to Mr. Guna, (Four to Five Times I had given a call to Him), he said I am on Field you can contact Mr. Ravi. Finally I spoken to Mr. Ravi[protected], he said I will check the status and I will confirm you evening, Evening his given a call and said we cannot provide the connection due to DP Problem we will refund the amount he said. Day by day I am Giving call to Mr. Ravi Not responding, either you will give amount or not. At least tell the status.

                                    Keep on calling your Executive for getting my money. Your Airtel Executive not at all picking the calls, This is what your providing service & satisfaction to customer?

                                    If I received my data card timely I would have saved my time and money as well as I could do my worked after 9pm at home.

                                    Being a Customer of airtel for almost four years, i want to express my strong dissatisfaction with the airtel services and their executives in Karnataka.

                                    I am a airtel customer for the past 4 years(2 years from maharashtra, now in Karnataka).
                                    i have two connections against my name one is [protected] and the other no is[protected].
                                    on 22nd of september 2009 i went to an airtel outlet and given a request to keep the no. [protected] under safe custody for 3 months. after 2 months i got a bill which states that i must pay a sum of 671.00 rupees.I got shocked and called the customer care services 121 to enquire about this, they told me that my no is no more active and because of the default amont they have disconnected the number, when I told them that i have given a request to keep this number under safe custody, they told that never happenned, and also asked me whether i have any proof for requesting to keep this number under safe custody. when i told them yes they also asked me to visit the airtel outlet where i have given t he request for the safe custody.

                                    I went to the airtel outlet as suggested by the executives. in the airtel outlet the executives told me that by mistake this number was never put under safecustody and they will try to solve this issue ASAp.

                                    I waited for couple of days for the problem to solve, but i never heard back from any of the responsible airtel executives stating that this problem is solved or under process.

                                    As a dejected man i started calling the 121 services for enquiring them regarding the status of this issue.
                                    surprisingly i started hearing many different stories from each of them. they were not ready to go thru the case history and gave me the proper [censored]ion or answer.even i spoke to the senior peoples also. everybody was asked me sorry for the inconvenience. also they told me they will need 24 hours or 42 hours to solve this issue.also they told me this mistake will never happen. they will make sure that i will be getting proper services from airtel.

                                    being heard it from the senior peoples, i was hoping to get this problem solved.but the problem never solved.i started again calling 121 service. then they told me that i have to go to airtel outlet and get a new sim card, to reactive the services within 24 hours.

                                    I was hoping atleast this time i will get my problem solved, and i went to the airtel outlet and collected the new sim card.
                                    after getting the new sim card this is the third day still i am making calls to the executives to solve this issue.

                                    In all these days i strongly observed that these (almost every body starting from beginning level, floor supervisor, their seniors, even the nodal officers)executives are not ready to take the initiative or responsibility to make the customer satisfy. every body asking for 24 hours or 42 hours to talk to the concern team. but nobody is following up whether the problem solved or not? just they want to move the task from their plate. nothing else.

                                    some of the executives are not even good enough to handle a customer they even blaming me for their mistakes.they used to drop the call when i ask some explanation.I almost escalated about couple of them to their senior executives.i dont know whether they are doing some corrective action or not.

                                    in between some body named swetha called me from airtel legal and they wanted me to pay the pending bill amount(for the one which i have been told that they already passed the waiver.)

                                    I am totlaly dis honoured by this kind o issues and their negligence. i never come across this kind of humiliation with any service provider i swear this should not happen to any of the customer who is paying the money to get the proper service.if it is possible please have a look at the database the no of calls which i made to airtel for the past 15 days to solve this issue.

                                    I higly request you to look into these issues and make the customers life cool, so as to make the airtel reputancy UP.

                                    There is a complaint against Airtel (Maharashtra). I have been receiving Job alerts and some other alerts. The services were activated with out my knowledge.

                                    1.I have been requesting customer care so many times to deactivate all alerts and other special services since 2 months. Each time the customer care people saying that they deactivate all the services. But it's not happening.
                                    2. To get connect to customer care executives it requires so many trails. By luck some times i got connection with customer care executive. But the connection will break in middle of conversation. They (our caring people) won’t call back us. Again I need to put my efforts to contact them. This time the same executive will not come on to the line. I need to play the complete story again.
                                    3.After the conversation I can receive a feedback message about customer (my) satisfaction. Even though I replied NO( not satisfied), there is no response about my satisfactions or problems.
                                    4.Then how about uneducated people? They have to pay all the money with out their knowledge. This is a big cheating...

                                    Airtel is now fleecing customers big time to keep its profit and loss account healthy. What they do is they start certain services on their own in any ones mobile. Or they create a loop through messages
                                    so that the services is switched on . And they will start the service deducting the amount from the prepaid users account. I have heard this from almost all the users of Airtel. The prominent service in this list is missed call alert service .

                                    And the biggest catch in such service is that once they start, they will keep on deducting service charge until u have time to speak to their lousy customer care which is again chargeable and tell them to stop the service. The service unsubscription number that they provide never works either. And even if one does that he has already lost the one time subscription amount

                                    Cheat consumers by acitivation all valued added services without notice, and deducting the balance without notice, and after calling there consumer care for consistently 2- 4days and after once constumer care guy says this and this bla bla service is requested by you so we are deducting the money from prepaid balance (which i have not opted or send any SMS), imagine if these people deduct daily 1 or 2 ruppee by crores of people what you be there rough tournover of over (2crores per day) this is how they cheat the customer....................very sad to cheat consumer daily.

                                    I have purchased two prepaid Airtel Connection from Chanakya Palace, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi - 86 shopkeepers. I have submitted Voter Card ID Proof. It has been intimated by the shopkeeper that they have deposited the documents to the Airtel representative, but, regretfully it is intimated for your information that without any notice both sim have been blocked. Details of my mobile Nos is as under :-
                                    (a) Mobile No [protected] ( Shopkeeper stated that he has handed over the
                                    documents to Airtel representative, but, on enquiry from the Customer Care
                                    Connaught Place office on 9 Apr 11, it has been intimated that no documents
                                    have been received hence sim blocked. Till today no sim has been activated.

                                    (b) Mobile No [protected] (This mobile phone sim purchased by me last week
                                    for my son's use. But this sim is also blocked without any intimation to me.

                                    My son is posted in border area and I am facing tremendous difficulties to talk to her. May I request you to kindly spare valuable time and resolve the issue keeping in view of the above circumstances.

They need to provide training to there executives regarding to talk with customers. and the response time is tooo bad...                                       I work for a corporate in bangalore.One Airtel Executive came to my office and offered me corporate connection.After i took the connection and seeing the bill for that month i realized it was too much for the rate plan he promised me and called back Airtel customer care to check if it is a corporate connection.To my shock i realized it is an individual connection and i was charged more than double what i was promised.And airtel had no clue who was the agent who made the connection.This happened two months ago.From that day i fighting to change my connection to corporate and not able to do it till date.i have made atleast 30 calls to Airtel on the same.They asked me to go to any airtel outlet with documents necessary for changing the connection to corporate.i went to the outlet in gandhibazar and was sent back saying they dont handle corporate connections.i called back customer care and asked me go to koromangala outlet this time.i again went to koromangala outlet 15 days and submitted all documents and the executive said it will be reflected in my next bill cycle.when i called again in my next bill cycle they say there is no record in the system which says i requested a rate plan change.i have already paid 3 months bill while all this happened paying more than double everytime.i have suffered too much of frustration,agony and lost lots of money.i request you to take this very seriously as they are trying cheat people by giving some promises and then make to lose money.

                                      Airtel/postpaid/ — duped/false rateplan

                                      I am an airtelcustomer since couple of years ( primary # [protected], add on # [protected])and this is not the first issue i am facinG related false promises related to billing. i was being appraoched to go for an add on number since past few months, and finally i agreed to go for one, (199 rate plan) and the representative promised(600 MINUTES FREE TO ANY MOBILE PER MONTH, 200 SMS FREE PER MONTH, NO HIDDEN COST OTHER THAN Rs-199, BUT I WAS DUPED AND I KNEW IT ONLY WHEN I HAD TO PAY THE FIRST MONTHS BILL. i WAS CHARGED Rs-249 minimun+free talktime is only for airtel Numbers+no free sms, and the free talktime is 450 mints but not 600 and it sounded so funny because my bill for primary Number never crossed Rs-280 right from the first bill but my add on no"s bill was above Rs400- but still i paid my first bill and complained about this to customercare centre and requested to change my rateplan to Rs249 minimum where i will pay only after crossing 450 minutes and for landline and special nos and special sms.but shockingly again the next bill for primary Number was crossing Rs400 which is completely bull because the number is used by my wife who often used the cell only to recieve my call. So let me make it clear to anybody who is the head for billing department. that I am not going to pay even single rupee for any of my Numbers and ready to defend any friction related to this and ready to fight back verbally or physically AND I MEAN IT TO ANY RECOVERY ASSOCIATES ALSO

                                      This is not new, AIRTEL people distributing new rate plans paper today "sep'08" at my office, seeing the exciting rate plans i took the paper along with required document to airtel outlet and i was surprised it was all false rate plan given to everyone, wondering airtel person said this could be typo mistake on the broacher and believe me it was being distributed among 5000 people.
                                      THEY DIDN't EVEN BOTHER TO CONFIRM WHO IS PROVIDING THE RATE PLAN ON AIRTEL NAME.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — Clubbed Bali

                                      I am using Airtel postpaid connection. I have taken this as a corporate connection (self Paid) in July 2008. At time of connection, some other person's Airtel number (from American Express Corporate Connection) linked with my Airtel account. I have made complaints several timess till now. I am getting bill for the usage of other number also. Till now nothing has been resolved. From the time I have taken this connection, I haven't received single bill. Now my outgoing calls also have been barred and now Airtel people are saying for deposit the bill otherwise they won't activate my services again.
                                      This kind of problems happens with airtel there customer care executive mis behave with you and if they dont want to answer the call they hung up...I too had a really bad experience with airtel ppl
                                      I had opted for a rate plan Airtel 449 Talkathon. As i chat a lot I took this. Accouring to the rate plan Airtel to Airtel 900 mins free, other GSM 300 Mins free. But still i get a bill more than 1500. When i asked to change the rate plan to lesser rental. I got an answer as this rate plan cannot be changed at all.. Now i am paying for the mistake i made
                                      .
                                      I live in india and abroad with my children and pretty much beyound age 60.Not a kid to not understand the need and requirements.I have found the corriodars of airtel is always full.The only reason i find is there is not a mature person /a person earmarked for the customer guidence and care and advice and to listen to their complaint/request.

                                      All working on the front tables are just teens and may be with with minimal qualification and with only working knowledge to make bill for the cash you pay and just the mechaical knowledge of entering what ever is needed to complete the entries in the PC Machine.with out knowledge and adeqate trainning skills to meet and answer AND MULTI needs of the Customers which are bound to be different for each customer.

                                      It definitely Shows the potential of growing India, I have no issues on this.What is more needed is ONE OR TWO exclusive Senior person earmarked for handling the New Connections/Transfer /Cancellation and to meet the various needs of each individual customer which is hard to figure out and ellobarate here.All i mean is every customers needs are different.

                                      All I have to say finally is i am not happy to comment here as i am one of the person who just went only 3 times on the same day to get my connection changed from post paid to pre paid .Lucky I was, my home was just 2 KM or less.The lesson learnt is next time you go for any Connection choose to see your home is close enough to any dealer.You know him atleast.Next all corporatr offers must be stamped and sigined by your Admin/HRO office to justify you did the right thing and stand behind you and you dont have to run behind the sales man who came with the offer who works for himself and the company that employed him on commission basis.

                                      Lastly, Good bye to all .Do more home work to avoid frustration later and running arround that are meaning less. One More thing, Leave these jobs totally to others, so that you can at least take out your heat and frustrations on him or her and blame them to your hearts content.To do this you have to be a corporate mini head yourself.
