ur all cutomer care is is fraud and his all commitment is fake.

Daily basis phone and daily new & new complain number i m totly fedup with ur shift manager and managers his name (KULDEEP DUA , MUKESH, KUMAR, DEEPAK SHURTI, ADITYA, NEETU, NILENDRA, MANPREET). They gave me lots of complain no[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected], and extra exctra) i don't know whats problen in your server in last 5 days. i know your brand name is high but your working style of just like RAILWAY ENQUIRIES. all customers is BLOODY and STUPID acordind as your customer care services.


Thanks a lot for last 3 year exprience of airtel.

please block all four number ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]) because today i m totay frestated with your working of style and your commitment..........

My New cell No. is [protected] this sim card I porches last week dated 18/12/2007
My purpose is using MO GPRS from this network
From day of activation MO I am getting error “subscribe to packet data first – Link not available”
So many times I call to costumer care but not get satisfied ans.
Now airtell cutting everyday Rs.14.99 paise for MO GPRS facility which is I am not able to use because I get this error “subscribe to packet data first – Link not available”
And I want my Rs. 14.99 x 3 = 44.97 Money back .

    I bought two Corporate connections of Airtel Postpaid 50 days back, Intially I chose 2 numers which were suppose to be activated in two days,the executive linger me up for 10 days and after that he called me to chose another numbers because those numbers were expired as per him,but those number given to someone else,and when i chose other no's again it was activated after 15 days which is usually done in 1 day, and after that airtel could'nt do address verification and now my no's are deactivated and when I talk to customer care executives says that it will be activated in 24hrs,but no one is entertaining my complaint and then i started dealing with some senior executive he also lingered me up for a Week and now he has stopped attending calls and now I am frustrated from AIRTEL though I already have 4 Airtel connections, and want to unsubscribe from Airtel Completely,
    If my query is not solved in 2 days i would be forced to approach someone else.

      inspite of giving all the documents to the reatailer he did not submit my documents and kept on lying to me that he has submitted all my documents for the new connection.and as a result of this my connection got disconnected.why should the customers sufer due to the retailers negligence.the company should not be giving business to such people who cheat the customers.on taking another connection from the same retailer he did not fill the outstation form which he was suppose to know about.how on earth do the customers know which form has to be attached the information is given by the retailer only.

      Hi I am Shrinath Prajapati,

      I had deposited Rs. 600 for airtel new postpaid connection but i have not got my simcard since last 50 days. I had deposited money to Lowerparel branch (Peninsula building). The callers name are Sweta and Seema who have cheated me for this. they kept telling me that the card has been sent to my home and has been already activated. I don't know what i shall do know.

      Airtel Connection — VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

      I have some querry about mobile no [protected]. i want to know the name and address of said mobile connection holder. I called on toll free no 121 at 10.30 pm and some Mr. Manoj attand my call. Instead of giving correct information, he insisted me to contact your outlet. Is it possible any body to contact your outlete at 10.30 pm in the night. I made so many time requests but all in vain. Even he couldn't help me to get RTI form to know why shud not I view online telephone directory? When ever this facilityis provided by MTNL also. why not airtel providing it?
      And it is mandatory as per TRAI Rules. Later on after holding me in que a long time, Mr. Manoj disconnect my call without giving me suitable solution. This was the gesture of your employees providing customer service. I called again and again 4 times but nobody has attend my call. I want solution under RTI ACT "THAT WHY AIRTEL IS NOT PROVIDING ONLINE TELEPHONE DIRECTORY LIKE MTNL? WHY THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE?

      Airtel Connection — Beware of Airtel Landline Connection

      Be ware of Airtel Landline Connection, during connection of new landline, Airtel will commit that there is no shifting charges, but when you give request for shifting, your request will be delayed with committed dates of shifting and then starts day after day but there will be no shifting, in the mean time your landline no. will be deactivated, whenever you give call at customer care 44444121, the customer executives will give you fresh date of shifting and the thing will go on rolling, then when you get dissappointed and decided to cancelled the landline, you will get lots of call to know the reason of cancellation from Airtel and some of the executives will commit you to offer discounts, waive off charges etc. This is how such a big and well know reputed organisation losses customer's faith and making the customers suffers.....this is what happen to me, I request others not to fall in trap with the Airtel connection.

      I am really stunned to get a call from Airtel office in Noida that I had a land line connection no.[protected] at my residence address ( E -303, Kesar Garden Appartment,Sector-48 Noida).
      I shifted to Greater Noida from my residence at Sector-48 in the month of Feb'09 and till this period a BSNL connection was installed and working and later I applied for disconnection of BSNL no. and I had a proof of BSNL disconnection.

      What I want to say that I had never applied an AIRTEL connection at my this address( E-303 , kesar Garden Apts, sector-48 NOIDA), Despite I am being asked to deposit the amount Rs. 500 something.

      This is totally fake no. installed and being used by unknown person in my name at my residence ( E-303 ,KGA, Sector-48,Noida).

      I request to the concerned authorities to find out the culprit ( this can be traced by verification of dialled no. from this so called land line connection 4229284.) and punish him.

      Hope an appropriate action will be taken at the soonest.

      Airtel Connection — Blocked the sim

      Dear Sir,

      My name is Pavan working in BEL
      Bangalore. I have been using Airtel
      connection for 3 years. Recently
      took a new sim for my Aunt who has come
      from US. She used the number
      for allmost 2 months, she was happy about
      the network.

      Ten days back they disconnected the number saying there was some
      problem with the verification details. Then i submitted the
      documents at airtel showroom near Yeshwanthpur ( APMC YARD to

      that there should not be such problem in future. He assured that
      very thing has been updated in system n very thing will be fine.
      On Dec 13 midnight they have disconnected the network again. We
      had a balance of 700 Rs and there is no solution for this when i
      enquired to customer care.

        sir, madam
        i am running prepaid recharge shop in ra puram my vodafone distributer is nt com to shop properly and making irrresponsibilities. Except vodafone all my distributers are given me easy deal sim card. with easy card how can i service to my customers so much of customers are goan off. If customers asking vodafone sim card i am suggest for aircel & airtel and sale him.
        Last 22 customers are asking vodafone sim i am given aircel.
        With out easy how can i recharge him so plze arrange easy sim for me other wise i nt sale your products

        I m an airtel user since seven years
        I have a phone which works with 3g and 2g
        However when I surf internet either in mumbai or pune speed is good...even facebook works
        I stay in virar west near amul ice cream parlour
        college rd
        virar west
        speed is so pathetic that I cant even load google homepage on the screen
        Please find out the solution because its been a year we cant use gprs.
        Hopefully that will be sorted out as early as possible

          On my number ([protected]), VAS PACK activated wothout taking permission from me and Rs 50 deducted for same. I called customer number care number of times. But stupid customer care not answer the activation reason. Somtimes there system is down , somtime their software is down. My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer".

          Airtel India — Worst customer care services

          I wanted to change to Prepaid to Post paid. (Existing no. [protected], Existing!!!!!??
          Bad luckly Airtel teleexecutive Mr. UDAY ([protected]) called me & itroduced a new offer. I accepted the offer on 1st Oct & filled the form for new sim with deposit of 500 (Total 600). The verification was done on 4TH. My existing sim with life time validity was blocked from Airtel in view of new sim.
          The tete-executive called asked me on 4th to come to Bandra station (Mumbai) to collect my NEW sim, but when i reached there & called the given no. by him ([protected] - Rohit) no one picked the phone for most of the time, when they picked they just talked nonsense.
          The next day when i again called UDAY he asked me to again on Bandra station but i refused.
          From 4 th Oct. my phone is not working , i am very packined by such a behaviour from Airtel.
          Do I made a sin by taking Airtel connection?

          If there is any responsible person in Airtel to solve such problems?

          Please help........

          Airtel Landline Service — Airtel handling of customer complaints

          Its quite sad that I have to complaint about the service provider which is making this complaint possible (i am using airtel braodband for this mail).

          Few days back I received a letter from Airtel suggesting that I have made some corrections on the cheque and hence they are returning back. On checking the cheque- it never belonged to me. It was a cheque issued by someone else and delivered at my door step. What if the cheque was misused by a wrong person?

          Rightly I wanted an apology letter from Airtel not once, not twice but thrice, each time the executive promising me a time before which it would be delivered but I am still waiting for the all elusive letter. Its been more than 20 days before I complained for the first time.
          Moreover, the executive at the help centre refused to share with me the Email ID of any senior exectutive of Airtel!

          My question- if we donot know about the email IDs of the service providers senior executive, how would calous behaviour and mishandling of such issues be brought to their notice.
          After the episode, I am sure Airtel just wants to make money out of the ever growing population of India rather then providing good service. That is why I feel happy to be using vodafone mobile no. God's grace!!

          Well, I am completely agree. The customer care department of Airtel is the worst ever I have seen. Airtel offered me Super 3 plan under which I was supposed to allow discounted Call. But, They never allowed. I called many times to customer care and every time , I was given new compaliant number instead of any resolution.
          Airtel setup customer care department not for assistance but for making fun of its customers.
          My all friend with such complaints are perfectly right. If Airtel will continue to use such manpower who cannot satisfy a customer-the day is not far when the company will lose its customers who are perfectly INNOCENT. Please listen to my own story which has arrised as a result of zero-handling skill of customer care personnel of Airtel. I am having many prepaid mobile connection from Airtel. Few days ago I observed that my mobile got instantly stopped with no access for incomming or outgoing calls. I contacted Airtel Customer Care at 121 from Gurgaon. I narrated the problem. I was told that the validity has expired. I tried to find out why the validity had expired. I confirmed that I had charged my mobile recently 3-4 days ago by 200Rs. I got only a meagre amount against the credit. Anyway at present I am still having a credit of more than 130 Rs. but still the phone is of no use to me. I am neither receiving incoming calls nor can avail outgoing services. I enquired to give me a solution for same but believe me, none of the airtell guys was in a position to satisfy me. You can understand the result of call centre services which every Indian company uses now for customer satisfaction. ALAS these companies do not understand the problem. These fresh people who have no experience of the line are mostly incompetant to solve the grieviences of the customers. I am left shaken by the attitude of these so called customer care people hired by Airtel. Nobody is ready to go deep into the gravity of the problem to work for redressel. Through this mail I suggest the management of Airtel to think of 1+1=11 and not 10-1=0.

          I am having two more prepaid connections and one Broadband connection. I am seriously thinking whether I should continue the services of shift to other services like VOD or BSNL.

          You costumer care tele caller is pathetic to reply towards complaint. They are not lessening the complaint properly and not given satisfied answer. And their attitude toward caller is really disappointment.
          WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE
          I have 444 Airtel corporate plan. so many employs with me, facing low signal problem. At the time of taking connection airtel representative told discount will be provided on landline also. But airtel is not allow discounted Call.This is the matter of misleading. I called customer care number of times. But customer care not answer the reason. Somtimes there system is down, somtime their software is down. My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer".The customer care department of Airtel is the worst ever I have seen. At last Maximum no of employee has been decided to cancil his connection. From our department CUG of airtel also has been canciled.

          but according to my bank statement my first cheque no.527953 is passed on dated 22.05.08 from my account.
          WHEN MY FIRST CHEQUE WAS PASSED THEN WHY YOU HAVE TAKEN ANOTHER CHEQUE AND WHY YOU BARRED MY OUTGOING FROM LANDLINE NO.4049630?
          AS ON DATED 14.06.08 MY LANDLINE IS BARRED SECOND TIME WHICH CAUSE INCONVIENCE FOR US .

          Bharti Airtel Landline Connection — Worst customer care services by Airtel Bharti

          Hi,

          I had taken a Landline Phone Connection duringSep/Oct[protected]White Field Bangalore) Initially I had gone for 550 Plan(Phone with Internet connection, but immediately the next day itself I switched to Unlimited Plan and also signed on the Form for the Upgradation(A representative from airtel by name reddy-Mobile No. [protected]) had assured and confirmed me the updation, but after a month, I received the bill of around 9000/- stating that I had opted for 550 Limited Plan, I was shocked to see the bill inspite I had switched to unlimited plan, Till now the issue is not closed and nobody from airtel approached to provide the solution, Now I received Legal letter stating that I need to pay an amount of 13000/- which is unfair and also Unmean to collect such an Amount, Plz check this an update me with justice
          No response received yet and on calling customer Care they say we need to wait for teh bill generation date. What Crap, rubbish hah...

          My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer". Charging as they want and TRAI is doing nothing to pretect the tecommunication rights of the Citizens.

          Hi, This is to bring to your notice that Inappropriate Billing is happening for Airtel Mobile Connection that I am holding under Mobile Number [protected]. Please find the attached .Doc document for reviewing the concer that I have regarding the Billing Amount that has been confirmed from Customer Care & the Airtel Account Online. The concern I am having is that I travelled to United Kingdom on the 7th Morning and reached there on 8th Morning. As per the attachment number 3 on the attached document the Unbilled Amount from 05/06/2008 to 12/6/2008 is Rs/- 8733.06, But how can it be possible that there has been minimum of the calls that has been made from [protected] and received very few calls on [protected] and the Unbilled amount gets to Thousands within 6-8 days. There has been instances in the past where Airtel has charged Inappropriate Amounts and after filing complaint the charges that I was not suppose to pay were waived of. It was confirmed from Airtel Customer Care about the call charges and I was confirmed that each minute of call will cost me around Rs/- 40 Per Minute and after which the International Roaming was activated. It was also confirmed that there will be no roaming charge for the Corporate Connections that I am holding. Example: 1 Minute Call costs Rs/- 40 so 10 Min call will cost Rs/- 400, even if 10 Min call has been made on each 8 days then the total charge will be 80 Min and cost will be Rs/- 3200 and there has been no calls longer than 10-15 Min a day rarely as I am in Training for 10 Hours & Sleeping for 8 Hrs and it has not been the case that I am on call all the time or for Hours. The calls that have happened have been Incoming and that to for very short duration totally to 10-15 or 20 Min a day. My cellphone remains on Switch Off mode for most part of the day. If for 7-8 days the Unbilled amount as per them is Rs/- 8733.06, then for a person who will be in International State for 40-48 days the Unbilled would be around Rs/- 43665.3 & Rs/- 52398.36 which cannot be case under any circumstances. Also there will not be even a single person who will spend lavishly on just calls and that to someone like me who has been to States on Training. There has been no resolution from the Customer Care Team, on calling at 121 what I was told was that I will have to make the payment and then the connection will be restored, I tried calling from UK the Nodal Officer's Number at +91-[protected] & then Appellate Authority at +91-[protected] but no one picked the call. It seems that they are not ready to hear from the Customers any more and nor they want to provide any resolution to the Problems being faced by the Customers. It seems that we as Customers are being folled around and blackmailing of make the payment then we will restore your services for which they want to charge what they want to and the Customer has to be penalised for the services and charges that are inappropriate and illegal. Also there has been no intimation being sent through SMS or by Calling in personally regarding Credit Limit Increase, Credit Limit has Reached and please make the payment, any changes in the Tariff or when there is a complaint made through the Airtel web Account. There has been numerous times that they have been intimated of not increasing my Credit Limit as well, but they keep on increasing it and indiscriminate & inappropriate billing happens and they make the bill as much as they can with no solution for the customer other than to make the payment for restoration of services as they know Mobile Communication is something which everyone requires and cannot live without. Also there has been instances of misbehaviour and misconduct by the Customer Care representatives when they are being called regarding some concern like the ones above or any other related to Airtel Mobile Services. There has been times when the Customer Care Executives have disconnected the call without providing any resolution of the concerns being faced. It is a humble request that the issue may kindly be reviewed and resolved at the utmost as the inappropriate disconnection of services is something which is problematic and irritating. It may also lead me to take some legal action which is heard when the customers donot make the payment from service providers, but in my case it has never been that there has been a problem created for the payment. It has been times that delayedpayment has been made but I have also payed the late fee as per the Late Fee charge. NOTE: As I being in UK and my only source of Communication was Airtel which has been disconnected I cannot be contacted through call, so it is requested to you to please provide the resolution of the same on ASAP basis. If in case there needs to be some contact be made then it can be made to someone in Delhi and the contact details for the same can be provided as per the request & requirement and the concern can be summarized to the contact person in Delhi.

          I have been misbehaving by your executive again and again. I dont know why... Before 2days i got a call from RETENTION DEPT so Mr GAGAN(retention executive) and Mr ANKIT (manager),
          Mr GAGAN called me and started telling me about 1495 plan and giving information about wrong charges of my bill...
          So i told him about everything of my account so i also talked to his manager ANKIT so he tried to solve my queries and so at the end he gave my call to gagan and gagan told me about 1495 so after explaining me... gagan said vipin u will get a confirmation sms for your satisfaction from 247... so pls send yes whether you are satisfied or not...
          So i refused then he said i cant do anything for you. Send yes then i would do... he was doing a deal for yes247...
          I said can i talk to your manager who called me earlier so eather he or his manager refused me to talk and said when i will come to know that you have sent yes then i would do something...
          And disconnected my call so i call in customer after his call someone else in customer care who got my entire info and he too disconnected my call having abused...
          so i complained by one of your executives and still my BILLING ISSUE is same...
          Whenever i call in NODAL OFFICE OR APPELIATE OFFICE eather no one receives or busy...
          so on 24june08 i talked to megha who helpd me out in nodal office and suggested me to send this email...

          I cannot be more frustrated to write this! I just came back from my personal work abroad. And to my surprise, I realized by their most impudent customer service executive, and shift manager - and post my paying of the complete amount, wherein no one could tell me that this number doesn't exist!!- that my number has been discontinued. There was no communication done by airtel!!! Exuberantly the Manager replied " We have sent the notifications through SMS" ;-))) excuse me if the phone is not working why would you drop a sms to alert the customer???!!! inspite of they possessing my all contact details!!! I have been continuing their services since last three years, and trust me it certainly has been no less than nightmare!
          When I ask who do I go and speak with the Manager on duty comfortably ignores it!
          Funny, yet precarious! hope there would be some way to come out of this!

          After payments they promise me that I will get back this number but several times I call but not get good answer

          Now they say to go to Showroom;

          Please note that my connection is popaid & rent is paid upto March.2009.

          How come it is possible that number will be withdrawn or suspend

          I called customer number care number several times. But stupid customer care not response me. Somtimes there system is down, somtime their software is down. My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer". My mobile no.is [protected] & exp.date 2010 but suddenly my phone registration failed display .           recently whenever i have dialed airtel to connect to the customer care executive, i have been put on some automated voice, and am not able to speak to any person, the same problem persists with a few other cells from where i tried to connect to the airtel customer care
          this is highly frustrating, on top which most of the customer care personnel are grossly inexperienced and it takes around a dozen calls to get the problem solved

          On 16th Feb 2009 i lost my phone, within half an hour i contacted to air tel customer care number [protected] & [protected], with my friend's Prepaid Air tel Number. To inform them that please Inactive my sim card so no one can misuse it, but i am shocked when they told me that call from another number (Land line or Other Provider not Air tel ) at that time i was on highway there is not any hotel or nothing else,
          one of their Executives told me that if you have no other number then shout on Highway that CAN ANYBODY HAS OTHER PROVIDER THEN AIR TEL, how ridiculous they are ????
          And Finally at Night Around 10 PM i was called customer care with Vodafone Number to Inactive my Number, and now they told me to wait till tomorrow 12 : 00 PM.
          Now tell me who is Responsible if My Number is Misused ??

          I have been airtel customer and paying the dues on time... once Due to some reasons my payments got delayed for the first time for twenty days only. They can afford to threaten their customers that they can discontinue their service.Their SMS asked to submit the ID proof within 48 hours with a number to contact them. The number provided is too busy, and finally when You get connected, the person takes your call and promise to come to collect the required docs for ID proof. Today I visited your authorised dealers/agents/shops situated at BMC Chonk, Joty chonk and Central Town Jalandhar to get the duplicate SIM card; but they all said that the SIMs are not available/are out stock .At the same time they were not telling when the SIMs will be available with them. They all tried to influence me to go for new connection which seems to be more lucrative for them.Instead of sympathetic on my loss, behaviour /response of the persons attending at your above shops was quite dry and uncourteous. It was felt that in an era of competition you must be more careful in appointing Airtel agents. THEY ASKED US TO PAY RS. 1495/- AGAINST EACH PHONE AS 2 YEARS ADVANCE RENTAL FOR 2 YRS. WE PAID RS. 1495/- AGAINST EACH OF OUR PHONE AS ADVANCE RENTAL. ACCORDING TO THIS PLAN, CHARGES WOULD HAVE BEEN AS FOLLOWS:

          BUT WE STARTED RECEIVING THE BILLS WITH CHARGE STD RS.1.50, MONTHLY RENT RS.298 & RS.30, CUG RENTAL RS.30/-. Means after paying Rs. 1495 against each phone as advance rental which was duly charged in our bills, they are charging monthly rental and all the above charges from July 2008.

          We have talked to them at least 500 times. Sent them at least 100 meassages. Their senior Executives to the Level of Managers have visited our offices at least 10 times. They collect documents and confirmed that it will be done in the next bills but we are receiving all our bills with same old problems even after one year.



          We are still maintaining our Loyality with Airtel considering that these will be corrected and we deposit all our payments well on time after deducting the rental amount being charged by them. Then instead of correcting the bills, they have started putting penalities for not paying the Rental amount of Rs. 298. We are paying all our useage charges well on time throughout this period and for all bills.

          Ms. ILA, Mr. Prashant Dua & Ms. Vinkee are handling our case from July 2008 and all of them have visited many times our office to verify all records.

          We were not able to come out of the above problem, we landed in another problem because of Mr. Prashant Dua, Busines Manager of Bharti Airtel Ltd.

          We received our Total bills of about 37, 000/= for all phones to be paid till 23rd May’09. Mr. Prashant Dua confirmed in one of his messages that we can adjust 14, 000/ and deposit balance money as a single cheque and it will be adjusted against all our bills. We immediately deposited Rs. 23, 000/= as single cheque along with a letter giving details of all our phone nos. to be credited in individual account well before 23rd May. Their representative came within 15 minutes to our office to collect the cheque and was debited to our account within 2 days by our Bank. But they did not credit even a single Ruppee of that into any of our account. So, the outgoing calls of many of our Managers got disconnected because of this. They are getting the impression that our company (Unicorn) is in bad financial condition that we are not able to pay Mobile bills. But they do not know that It is because of the highly unprofessional and inefficient managers of Airtel, who are not performing their duties properly. I do not know whether it is because of poor staff kept by Mr. Sunil Mittal or his intention to cheat customers like this. As it is we were facing problems of Over billing since July 2008 now this another problem has come where we have paid all the bills on time and still our Managers are getting the message of disconnections because of non payment of bills.


          - We have received our bills of this month where no old corrections has been done.

          - Credit of Rs. 23, 000/= has not been adjusted.

          - Penality has been imposed for non payment of bills.

          - Phones of our managers are being disconnected even after all payments have been done.

          We don’t know what to do now? If any one of you can help us in this matter, please help.

However, the concerned authorities have not disconnected it desipte our repeated requests for a long time on one reason or the other. I am going post to pillar for this purpose. But all exercise proved to be futile.

          AirTel — Pathetic Service and worst customer care

          This is vinod kumar K (Post paid connection # [protected]).
          [protected] was the privies number for the same a/c.

          Like 2 months ago, I raised a request for surrendering my connection then I got the call back and she (Uma G) convinced me on change of number against surrendering the connection. Next one month there is no response and the number was not been changed.

          Then again I raised a request for surrendering my connection then again I got the call back (from [protected]) this time she assured me on changing the number in 48 hours (same like the privies one) and in addition to that assured of changing the bill plan also


          The same story was repeated again. After complaining N number of times through 121, one day (3 weeks before) the out going facility was not available. When I contacted 121 they explained that this is due to number change in process and it will be ok soon. Next day I got the call from [protected] stating that the number was changed and the bill plan will be changed in another 24 hours.

          From that day to till date, nothing happen and the outgoing call facility for this number was not been restored even though I got the msg that it has been restored (from AT-Services on 26th June 4:18pm).

          It become daily routine for me to call 121 and some one assuming me that the issue will be solved in 2hours – 24 hours – tomorrow afternoon. Two weeks before on Sunday they transferred the call to there supervisor (Vinod I believe) I conformed that it will be ok by the afternoon of next day.

          From that day till today, I couldn’t call to 121 if I did the call will be disconnected automatically as soon as I enter my number.

          If I succeed on this some one will be saying that the app was down so call after 2 hours.

          This is the worst customer care I came across or header about and also an pathetic one in the world

          Totally agree these airtel guys are not understanding the customer needs and problem. just make nice adds and slogans. I had a connection I requested for previous bills. talked to customer executive. he said it will be done in 7 working days. then after 10th day when I call and said I have not received it yet. the executive simply told that the request is not in the system. after that I requested again and this goes on. I also talked to team lead but all in vain. I also send many mails but ever got satisfied answers.


          SO I DECIDED AND CLOSE THE CONNECTION !!! that number was 8 years old. Though I know I make have loose many old contacts but for mental peace I have done it.

          Now I have taken BSNL and I am sure if I done get answer then I dont have to run after the virtual people. I have the alternative of RTI (Right to information).

          The customer care center (the one at jail road, tilak nagar) have the worst staff, me being a student went there to get a duplicate sim which was registered on the name of my elder brother. On reaching there and talking to them firstly they did not bother to give their service, kept me waiting for a long time and finally when the spoke they said that i don't have all the necessary documents. I agree on my part that i should have had the original documents of my brother's identity proof as it was mandatory to give them but the manner that they spoke plus the manner and concern of their senior manager was not one of the polite ones and rather VERY RUDE. Regarding the same, it was not my fault that i din have the original document, i had been there more than thrice and all that time the staff of the place only asked me to get a photocopy of the ID proof and nothing else.
          The staff of the center was rude and were not ready to accept their mistakes, i think this is the worst way they can harass their customers! Their staff should be better on terms of politeness and do their needful to help their customers!

          Airtel altogether has been a concern with its system down for over 10 days time period thereby creating a lot of difficulties.

          i hope they do not behave the same with other customers...hope to have a better service the next time.

          I’m not convinced with the fact that:
          - Why after 5 years, these documents are needed?

          I totally agree with this, being a top most cellular service provider (Bharti) but one of the worst customer support.
          I have applied for broadband connection in June 2009 in Lakshmi Nagar New Dehi and they charged Rs 500 for same, but till date money has not been refunded. And when I contacted their customer support either through a phone call or personally every time they are ready with new excuses.
          They even don't have centralized record for any customer, just misguiding the customer by whatever rubbish comes in their mind, even their reporting manager are too senseless.

          It must be new technique launched by Bharti to gather money and increase their turnover.

          I have gather all the records and their commitment which is sufficient to file a case against Bharti in consumer forum.

          I completely agree, There is nothing like customer care service they have franchisee managing their so called customer care centre, I went to go there to deposited my landline phone bill by cash, but their system was down I went their second time after 2 hrs 2 hrs, their system is still down and when I contacted manager to know if there is any alternate method to pay he said you contact nodal officer I told the Manager that "I have come to you with a problem and you are giving me another work" and he responded that he is a franchisee hence it would be better that you contact nodal officer.
          Same case as Mridula.
          I am holding a number since 6 years now, and suddenly they asked me to submit the documents. first they asked me to submit the company id and latest sal slip (being a corporate account). When i went to submit it, they asked me to submit all the documents!! i wasted my time arguing with them. number got disconnected without any notice.           I have a Mobil connection under CUG scheme at Koteshwar, since Feb 2008. The service provided by you is so pathetic that the limit of tolerance have over exceeded. Frequent call drop, deactivation of Roaming facilities, are rampant. Following are some examples.
          1) On 31/03/09 the roaming was deactivated where as from 23/03/09 to 29/03/09 the was available during my stay at Delhi.
          2) On 16/06/09 the roaming was again deactivated.
          3) A plan of Rs 399/- was activated for GPRS & Internet, which was de activated after 15 days, without giving any reason.
          4)On 2nd and 3rd March2010, Sri Sanjay Rawat was contacted for redressel of above problem.On this a text massage was send, which I, quote here, ‘ Airtel Roaming has been activated on your Airtel mobil with effect from 03-MAR-10. AIRTEL to AIRTEL Barring has been stopped.’ I fail to understand why I was barred without assigning any reason.
          5) Though your signal are available here at Koteshwar, the Mobil keep showing Emergency, which results that neither I can make any call nor I can receive any call.
          6) On 5th March, when I again contacted Sri SanjayRawat at around 1300hrs, he asked to switch off my set and again switch on after half an hour, which I did, but the Emergency was still remaining. Under the circumstances I am forced to take the case to consumer court for redressel. Explain why we should continue with your services ?

          I, and anybody I have ever called/received a call from on a regular basis, am being harassed by Airtel. The problem started sometime last year when Airtel recommended a change in my Airtel Plan to suit my needs better. I was not satisfied but on being pursued incessantly relented. I was dissatisfied after which i asked them to switch me back to my original plan. They didn't and later told me the plan had been discontinued. I used to call the Customer Care like twice a day. I asked them to either help me or discontinue my number. They did neither and started calling me thrice a day to incresingly harass me into relenting to continue service on their terms. I have had this number for over five years (It was pre-paid before) or so. I was also keen on resolving this since, number portability is not an option yet and Airtel instead of helping me continued to add to my woes. I warned them that I would stop paying my inflated bills. I requested for Request/Complaint Nos. Sometimes I got them at other times they hung up. Finally, inspite of being a legal professional, I could find no headway into the system. The Nodal Officers are a hoax and so are the Appellate Authorities. i have never been able to speak with them on the nos. i have acquired from the TRAI site.

          The recovery agents are harassing everyone I know for my whereabouts. They discontinued my no. after 3 months of my request to discontinue services, which was not enough for them to resolve my problem. They are trying to establish that I am evading paying them when they can see from my records that I have an immpeccable record. People from my bills, are getting calls where recovery agents pose as ICICI Bank courier agents to get my new no. If the people offer my new no. the agents harass them for the payment. They scream, yell and are passive aggressive. I wonder how far they will go. I am at a loss due to a changed number, harassed family, friends & acqaintances and a bad reputation they are creating for me. I frankly dont have the patience to go to the Consumer Forum or TRAI but I will soon need to approach them. I have received a legal notice from the receovery agrent's lawyer, alleging all nonsense.

          I hate Airtel. I am using no cellphone, as one operator isn't any better than the other and the TRAI is just a body the government has created to distribute tax payers' hard earned money.

          I reside in Jamshedpur and I have Airtell prepaid connection with GPRS facility which have been disconnected for 8 days. I have complained at the Airtell office and its distributer office for the inconinience but they advised me to throw the Airtell sim. When I asked why I should throw, I use or not, then they told as you wish, no problem.
          They harrased me running whole days different offices and retailer's shop.

          I have an Airtel broadband connection and needed to recover my access password. All that's needed is to type in the URL of the modem in a windows system but I have a Macbook. For something that could've been resolved easily in 2 min on the phone, Airtel made me wait for two days and then I had to face an ill behaved man on the phone and in person. Who is responsible? Does Airtel bother at all to coach their employees for manners? (His name was Amit Kumar Giri)

          I called Airtel customer care and they had no idea how to do that in a Macbook so they offered to send a technical person to my house. When the technical person called he curtly asked "problem hai?" and was going to put the phone down when I cut in and told him to come with instructions for a Macbook. He asked me to arrange for a Windows system as he didn't know how to do that in a Mac and was again going to hang up when I told him I could arrange it in a few minutes and he could give me instructions on the phone. He said he had to come to my house to figure it out. Since I know only the modem URL was required for it I didn't buy it, but he hung up and didn't even give me a chance to speak. When he came over after 3-4 hours I asked him what was so special in the process that I couldn't be told on the phone he replied very rudely that I was saying that only because it has been quickly resolved. Now, being a technical person myself I know all he did was type in the URL of the modem to get access to it and nothing else. On telling him that, he stood up threateningly and started talking loudly and rudely to me. Being a lady I felt threatened and had to ask him to leave my house immediately.
          My mob no [protected] is reflecting a charge of Rs.30-/- (Rs.15/- previous amount and Rs.15/- towards renewal against opting for songs. I am quite unware as to how your people levy these kind of charges without the consent of the user. Since I have never opted for any kind of songs etc or I would like to, hence you are requested not to do any act of your own and rather refund the amount of Rs.30/-.

          My attitude towards complaint is very much disappointing reason being your services are very much poor and no action is taken despite lodging complaints time and again. Pl improve your services.
          Airtel customer service at[protected] is disgutingly worst. I have disturbance & cross connection problem on my fixed line[protected]. I called up customer care on 4th Sept, was given complaint number 37220932 with assurance that an executive will come on 5th sept. No one turned up till 7th, and on this date I again called the cutomer care & was given another complaint number 37337346 and assured that executive will come by evening of 7th. No one turned up. I called up customer care again on 8th & this time no assurance was given as to when someone will come to fix the problem. I called the nodal officer Airtel number[protected], between 12.30 PM to 01.10 PM on 8th sept, more than 3/4 times & each time it was no reply. My experience is that "No response from the customer care and harassing the customer" any time recharging account then deducted my money all time please check this complains and action.

          I had purchased on Micromax Q7 model and on very next day it stopped charging and later on I approached the dealer and the Micro Max service centres but without any result.
          Total working of Micro Max Mobile is worst, service centres worst, customer care worst i mean to say that there is no body to listen to. My newly purchased set is lying at home, received back unrepaired and unrepairable from the micromax, it is there fore requested not even/never think of purchasing Micro max mobiles. I have lost the money but i would not like my friend circle to loose the hard earned money.

          my airtel number is [protected], i am with airtel for the past 12 years and am being a custommer with no defaults paying my bill on time, and my bill used to come to an amount of rs 1000/- to 1200/-, i went to europe tour last month, i have not activated international subscription. i received some calls and made a few calls, to my surprise the international roming facility was activated where i have not requested for it.
          I came to india and found my bill to be around 18000/- . i was shocked, i gave a complaint in the custommer care and it is 30 days now and no body is giving me a proper answer, and i'm getting very false information from the airtel custommer care.
          1, some one from airtel called me and said that there was a request from my company letterhead for international roaming 2 years before. and i requested them to bring a copy and i will settle the amount, till date no one has bothered to have a discussion about this.
          2. after a week some one calls me and says that i am a gold custommer and they have activated the international with out request.

          I'm not knowing what to do, airtel is worse, and the custommer care is still worse,

              Dear Sir/ Mam,

              My Airtel Number is +91-[protected] (Chennai Number). I have got my International roaming facility and used in Bangkok and China etc. When the amount exceeded the limit, i tried to pay online. But the amount; i was unable to pay online due to poor service from Airtel. Also Airtel employees who do not know how to behave with the customers called up my home and told them to pay instead of calling me (worst administration and they are not trained properly). When i spoke to customer care, they do not know how to answer for the payment option online and no one knows how to solve the online payment problem. One of the Airtel counter said that to call customer care and they could not take payment. Another counter insulted me by using harsh words when i asked about this. But they are asking me to pay! Worst case in this is finally my outgoing was stopped and when i made payment INR 25,000 on 22nd december 2007 (same day), my outgoing is not yet activated even after 24 hours. No reply for my mail which was sent before a week! Please take action / advice me how to proceed with consumer court to bring those culprits infront of strict judgement and get penalty. So that it will be great lesson for Airtel and other customers not to sufer like this. Also Airtel do not have any authorised official to deal this matter even after many complaints given to customer care. Please advice.

              Your judgement will be very useful for me and other poor people who suffer with Airtel like this.

              For past 3 days im asking airtel people to cancel my fixedline and broadband[protected], its in the name of M.R.Srinivasan.But nobody is giving me correct procedure to disconnect. They are fooling me by telling that my wife has asked them to retain the connection, its totally impossible b`coz she is out of station.

              Next thing Airtel people are clever that they charge late payment fee though the bill is paid before the due and there are many hidden charges also.Im in the plan of 799 rental with 256kbps speed but they dont provide really that much only for two or three days after complaint they do.

              So im really fed up of this and i want to move out.

                    i am having Airtel prepaid card government plan(Airtel to Airtel 10 paisa,other mobile 30 paisa,STD call 60 paisa,2rs per day cutting ). Due to Happy recharge of 1 Month validity done by mistake the call rates are increased (Airtel to Airtel 1RS,other mobile 2.25Rs).i have called to customer care about that ,they told your previous scheme will activated after ending of this validity. When validity comes to end they told me to recharge 499 Rs card (6 months validity & 200 RS talktime). After recharging mobile i asked them about Complaint.then they give me time of 48Hours, then say we cant repair it. Airtel service center New panvel also do same thing.sir i am troubling with such call rate.
                    Then i go to the person from which i have taken He told me i could solve your problem but to your recharge of 499 RS your plan will be Activated after 6 months.

                    Airtel Prepaid — Didnt get validity as told

                    I recharged my phone with 501rs easy recharge from an airtel dealer nearby on 29 May 2008, I had received a message from airtel telling I'll get 445rs talktime in that & 5 months validity.

                    Since I didnt get the validity & after sending 2-3 sms at 121 but no repsond, I complained on 29th May night, the customer care registered a complaint & told it will be done within 48hrs. After no change I again spoke with customer care on 1st June-again same story, told will be done by 4th June, Finally again on 4th june, another customer care informed me that it will be done by 5th June.

                    Is this a joke?My phone is not working from last 5 days..Dont we have any other work..we keep getting important calls & should have some mode of communication..Very bad service from Airtel..pathetic..

                    Today around 1830hrs I lost my cell phone-E71-Nokia- cell no -[protected]-with an IMEI no [protected] .
                    I have already spoken to customer care airtel.

                    Please immediately block the cell phones incoming & outgoing to prevent misuse.

                    I have contacted the police but they advised me to register an FIR after 1-2 days after they complete their local search.
                    Please trace the thief by locating the IMEI as attached in the photo/given above

                    PREEPAID — 60 PAISE COLL FACILITY NOT RECEIED UP TO 3 MONTH

                    Airtel — TOP UP plan converted into restricted time plan

                    Sir,
                    I have validity period for my cellphone upto 2037year and I also activated a Special tariff offer which reduce my call rate to 50 paisa and for this validity period is Oct.2010 and for both schemes I paid a Sum as demanded by the Company (AIRTEL). Day before yesterday as in general as several time I got TOP UP of the same amount and with same impression I got this TOP UP of Rs. 345/- , at that time I have balance of Rs.212/- and for that the original validity period is too long. The new balance was not updated with my old one and I made a call to call center and they said the Re-charge coupon of Rs.345/- is having only one month validity and that balance also can only be seen through dailling *123*6#, and that balance is not showing regularly after every end of the call. This conduct is not in the interest of natural justice, as I pay earlier to extend my validity then how they can restrict me for one month and that too was neither informed by there agent nor by the company through message that they are going to change the scheme.
                    This scheme is totally connected with fraud and misguiding the customer and create loss to the customer after paying the whole amount for the validity and also they are going to deduct unevent charges from the cell phone without intimating to the customer and on making call to the customer care center they never reply properly to the customer and said i any one wants to get there call details they have to pay a sum of Rs.50/- and the report will send through there postal address. this is totally injustice with the customer.
                    please help me out and also guide me for legal action against them.

                    Even I have problem while recharging there is no low budget full talk time recharge for Airtel Government Plan. The service is getting ridiculous for Government Plan, we should have come together and file a complaint on Airtel, for such CHEAP Service, Don't we have any value as many are using the cards for more than 3-4 years back. Airtel is really going out of control some one has to do something. Even the rates are being increased after particular period. The Rental is also being increased. Now its some what 1 Rs. per day, SMS has gone to 1 Rs. from 30 paise.

                      I am feeling profound grief to say that I am facing great difficulties to connect my mobile connection that is disconnected from 1 month. As per Airtel advice I have completed entire formalities and try to prove better with Airtel communication. But Airtel communication center and customer executive still not showed any positive response with my connection. First time when I call to Airtel customer care center to know reason for disconnection my cell phone [protected] on 01/12/2007 they shown reason that your ID proof not submitted in our office. I followed Airtel advice and again submitted my ID proof to Airtel respective office INDIRA BHAWAN, CIVIL LINE ALLAHABAD on 12/12/2007, that time Airtel officer/executive advice me to wait up 1 week for connection because some time may be taken to connect connection.

                      On 19/12/2007 when I again visited to Airtel office INDIRA BHAWAN, CIVIL LINE ALLAHABAD for connection, they make response that we can’t help you on the matter your are require to call customer call center 121 for connection because some technical problems have been arise and your application is terminated.
                      On 20/12/2007 I again call to customer call center to know current status then call center executive advice me to meet again to your retailer where you purchase connection. I am not able to help you because our systems not showing any information about your connection this is temporally out of service.
                      Sir we live in Rural area and it not possible to meet daily to Allahabad for connection, Secondly I have taken Life time scheme connection on the payment of Rs.595/- now Airtel department showing such negligence response after getting full and final amount. Now you can think my problems, if my connected is terminated then Airtel require to refund my deposit amount ASAP.

                      This is cheating with me. Please help me ASAP

                          The Telecom Regulatory unthority of India ( TRAI ) has set up a National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC Registry) to curb Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC) ie unsolicited phone calls and messages from telemarketeers and the like.

                          The website of the NDNC Registry is at http://ndncregistry.gov.in/ndncregistry/index.jsp

                          There is also a downloadable document on the website listing all the network service providers, their call centre numbers and also the SMS content and SMS numbers one has to use to register oneself ( Or rather one's mobile number) under the National Do Not Call Registry .
                          For eg. BSNL users have to type" DNC ACT" ( without the quote marks ) and send the SMS to 53733 to register themselves under National Do Not Call Registry .
                          The document can be downloaded at : http://ndncregistry.gov.in/ndncregistry/docs/NumbersforSubscribersRegistration.p...
                          (Its a .pdf document, so make sure your computer has Adobe Reader or similar software.)
                          Goto aitel's website and register for "do not disturb" registry..
                          Hopefully that'll help..

                            Airtel India — Horrible customer care service

                            dear sir,
                            i am disagree towards Complaint because i purchased a airtel sim card 2weeks back ph.no.[protected] but till now sim was not activated. my alternate phone number is [protected] plz can u do need full my problum.

                            i am complaining for last 4 days that my airtel cordless is not working so send a person to repair it but nobody is coming.....
                            I was applying online for a loan when this Identify theft came up. Idid not pay any mind until I looked on my statement and they have debited $31.98. I went to the site and happen by chance sent to a chat room (customer service) She asked me what I wanted. I told her and them all of a sudden the link was dropped. She "Doris" Left me hanging. Now I can't even get on the site. This is definitely wrong. I went on Pay cash now and this is what happen,

                            I never recieved a confirmation code!!!!!!!!!!!

At 13:10:28 I received a message " Dear Customer, Rs 25 has been charged for Subscription of missed You services for the current month" Sender: 4775, Message center: [protected].

                            When I talked to with Airtel Customer service officer Mr. Ajay by dialing [protected] at 15:45 hrs for know the reason of Deduction of credit for unwanted services without request now Mr. Ajay said, the service is activated as per ypur request. When I complained that I never request or subscribe that service he told me that, he is unable to provide the detail because his server is down for 24 Hrs & says to send the SMS on 121 to received the detail information & unsubscribe the service. Now I am send the SMS to 121 as per Mr. Ajay's request/Customer care officer but no response from Airtel.

                            Without my request or my knowledge Airtel have deducted for Subscription of missed call. It had been noticed that lot o[censored]nwanted sms stuffs and invitation calls are received which disturbs during office recehours / meetings. Expecting a better service from this mobile service provider in future. In name of entertainments please dont fool the customers by deducting from the credits without their knowledge or acceptance.

                            Please unsubscribe the missed call service and return my Deduction amount.

                            Airtel sends promo message which are not valid just fooling people, Sorry to say but the customer care is not having proper knowledge about the services which you offer tese shows you all have unprofessional & unknowledgeable staff, so request you to please train your people & stop sending your nonsense message which is not valid, I received several message about a new promo that recharge for Rs. 275 & you get validity for 6 months & Rs. 75 Talktime, believing on the same I went to the nearest distributor & recharged for Rs.275 , but the message what i received gave only 2 months validity.

                            I am sorry to say but I have been facing lots of inconvenience from Airtel for my every Visit to Europe your network is having some or the other problem & i am unable to call back to any one just to carry your Sim of no use.

                            Your customer care is not having any answer for the same.

                            Sorry to say but I am planning to go ahead with some other service provider because of your fooling services to customer & will take the necessary action professionally.

                            It amazes me that all my emails over the past 19 months have not made anybody at AIRTEL sit up and take notice. I wonder why! Is it because nobody cares! Or is it because the system is so very well outsourced that nobody feels the need to care not even AIRTEL management. AMAZING is all I can say to such a corporate cover-up.
                            Once again I will put up my concerns:
                            1. My out-goings barred even though payments were made on time. This happened over two consecutive months 19 months ago. On seeking accountability with an apology from AIRTEL I was assigned Relationship Managers (Ms. Nistha Mehra /Mr. Bhatkar) who merely stalled. One fine day I was told they had left the organisation. I still seek accountability.
                            2. One fine day I stopped recieving network within my office at JVPD. Post chasing AIRTEL customer Care and Gallery at Lokhandwala an engineer came and accepted the network problem. He said he will come back with a solution resolution the next day by 15.30 hrs. To date that 15.30 hr has not dawned. Result of it all I had to give up my office premises and move out as AIRTEL did not feel it was necessary for any necessary fast action.I still seek accountability.
                            3. I kept chasing sending mails over the last 19 months but nothing except sweet trained marketing talks from outsourced departments (Every outsourced department of AIRTEL).I still seek accountability.
                            4. I warned that I will stop paying my rentals though I will pay my call bills if no satisfactory response is evoked. Todate no response of concern. I stopped paying rentals two months ago.I still seek accountability.
                            5.Three days ago a cerain Mr.Tauseef (Unless he is ying and has given me a false name) called from the RETENTION department (Mb No. [protected]) saying he will resolve the issue within 48 hours. Todate it has been more than 72 hours and no feed back.I still seek accountability.
                            6.Yet again on calling 121 I have been given a refrence no.[protected] like I have been given such numbers hundreds of times in the past but no action followed. I still seek accountability.

                            The Air services more particularly the agents they have are not not at all help ful. I want to convert my plan from the Prepaid to post paid. I gave Rs. 300/- as charges for that on 28th July 2008 through their agents available in the UniverCell shop Alwarpet. Till today they have not changed my plan. If I contact the person he always says that the server is down. Almost every day I am calling with lots of irritation. The worst part is they had de activated my prepaid phone yesterday at about 1.45PM and not restored till today 6.40AM and left me in lurch with out any contact. Is this the service they do?                             With great concern, I’m here to bring to your kind notice that, I’ve bought a SIM Card bearing No.:[protected] on 7th February’ 2010 (Sunday) from your one of your outlets in Shiva Shankar plaza, Sector 16 Airoli (Navi Mumbai).

                            I’ve submitted the documents whatever demanded. After four days I got the message that “documents are due for submission”.

                            Again I went deliberately to the stores and enquired with Mr. Pradeep Rewat (From whom the SIM was purchased). He said don’t worry Sir, as we have submitted the documents disconnection will not be happen. I told him specifically if at all it gets stopped then I’ll be in trouble. He said again nothing to worry about this.

                            What had happen now?????????? Ultimately, service has been blocked from 23.02.2010 which is Ridiculous.

                            You are just troubling the Customers making to run from Pole to Pillar. Which is clear replica of Irresponsibility of the executives / horrible customer care / No business ethics?

                            You are requested to do the needful at the earliest to restore the faith & integrity
                            Your prompt action in the issue will be highly appreciated

                              Dear airtel, mera naam jeetendra hai main airtel prepaid([protected]) custumer hoon. Mujhe ye sikayat hai airtel se ki mobile office ki gprs service mere home network area me nahi chal rahi hai 10nov 07 se .
                              Mera home network hai kharsia(Raigarh),Chhattishgarh(496661).
                              Maine gprs helpline par kai baar complaint ki hai par result raha zero.
                              Ab mere gprs helpline me baat karne ki service band kar di gayee hai

                              Whenever i am trying to connect to airtel customer care they are not responding. Gprs connection is also not connected.
                              I am a sufferer of airtel gprs service, Location: Kolkata. They have a nice process of robbing customers. For the last three month I am noticing that on every 20th to 22nd day of service they stop providing consistent service. After repeated request to the customer service, they turn a deaf ear or give me a weird solution. But this problem solves once I pay the next month's charge. Airtel customer care guys are highly incompetent and they have a common solution to every technical problem i.e. change ur gprs settings. I just like to say "AVOID AIRTEL GPRS SERVICE", if not there telecom service.

                              i am the user of airtel mobile office service in maharashtra circle. since one or two months, the service became very bad.the problem is that, after connecting to the mo service, it gets connected but after about 2 minutes, it gets dissconnected.means i have to connect it manually again.which i have to do every 2 minutes. it is so much irritating.and the regular deduction of 15 rupees per day is continuously going on.
                              i phoned to customer care service 3 times once they registered my complaint and told that service will be ok. next day i again called customer care, they told problem is already resolved, but problem was there.still i m getting that problem.
                              I really faced lots of problems due to this.so i might think to use gprs service of another company..if the problem persists.
                              airtel excutive are not sincere towards the customer complains either management looks after it. this has happened to me also several times

                              my self ravikant i have activate mobile office service in my prepaid number which is succesfully work in my mobile but it didn't works in my PC, when i tried to complain for the perticular then they guide me to call GPRS help line number 12118 which was always massage me "First activate GPRS to get connect the call to data call center & disconecte the line.No body try to solve my problem.

                              Name is Matthew Abraham from Bangalore. I work in a BPO Industry.
                              My salary is around 14000pm. I took a Airtel Postpaid Card. And also
                              had a prepaid card i was using GPRS ( 98 Rs 2GB FREE DOWNLOAD ) on a
                              prepaid card till 24th Nov 2010. After everytime i access GPRS and
                              disconnect it i is to get a message with how much MB or GB I used and
                              how much is remaining. On 25 it got over and had to activate GPRS on
                              my Airtel Postpaid card. And on the same day or the day after i called
                              customer services to check how much MB i used cos' i was not getting
                              the message on my phone after every usage as i is to get on my prepaid
                              card. But i got a unexpected reply from Airtel Customer Services that
                              they don't have access to check GPRS usage until my bill is not
                              generated, so i asked as a customer how can i check they said the
                              customer also don't have access. So i said its ok as i remember i was
                              told that i will get a message when i reach the 80% of my credit
                              limit. Note my credit limit is 1500 rs. Now on the 7th of november i
                              get a message that my card will be blocked if i don't make a payment
                              of 8000. As i have crossed my credit limit of 1500 and my outstanding
                              amount is 9018 rs. I was so shocked cos' i was expecting a sms from
                              them when i reach 80% of 1500 rs which is my credit limit. I had a
                              doubt and checked on the IVR by dialing 121 on my phone and my
                              outstanding amount showed as 24000 rs. I called Airtel customer
                              services and they said let my bill get generated. I waited till 21 dec
                              and noticed that i crossed my 2gb of download and they have a discount
                              of 12000 some change as i was on a 98rs 2gb free download pack. Now i
                              asked them why was i not informed when i crossed my credit limit
                              Airtel answer was we ideally send message it was our mistake but you
                              have to pay. I don't have money to pay or file a case. I will hang
                              myself i am taken to court cos of all this by airtel. They have wrong
                              information. Today a lady from airtel hung the call on me. They don't
                              want to help me she also said the information given to me was confusing which means airtel missguides a customer. And charge him. I was also told by many advisors in airtel customer services that its airtels fault but i have to pay. When i asked them why did you inform me when i reached the 80% of my credit limit. And if thats not true then why was i miss guided during the welcome call. I will hang myself cos i cant effort going to court and cant take when ppl look at me as a fraud or a cheat. I have not cheated anyone it airtel who did that. If anyone who is reading this can give me any suggestion to get out of it will be helpfull.

                              I have activated mobile office and later the money debited directly from my prepaid account so I spoke to the customer care people for deactivating the weekly plan and activating the monthly plan. They said it is done.
                              Problems
                              1) Money was cut for weekly plan 4 times and I have called customer care to get the money back.
                              2) My number is removed to use the customer care; complaints registered more than 3 times and there is no response from Airtel
                              3) Now I am not able to use internet in my mobile; they removed the GPRS access I think for my mobile; I requested through Customer care (using other mobile) and SMS but answer is “wait for 24 hrs” from last 2 weeks.
                              4) Now I am not able to access the selfservice (server is busy for my number) from last 2 days.
                              5) Technical support tried for 30 min and said that in 1 Hr everything will be alright but I am not able to see any improvement.

                                I've taken sim card of airtel b4 six months ago recharged with 565 student plant. Just 10 day before it has been expire and now I could not able to recharge my mobile with 565 recharge voucher(as same shceme i've to continue) many times i talked to customer care representative but it's o[censored]seless.
                                from last 10 days my mobile was not working what to do?
                                i've taken airtel connection to reamin connected with people but I thik it is worthless.

                                  Airtel has setup a 'do not call' registry at www.airtel.in/dont.htm I have registered at their site over 3 months ago.but am still getting unsolicited calls . After contacting their customer care [protected]@airtelindia.com, ceo complaint desk and the nodal officer [protected]@airtel.in, [protected]@bharti.com, I'm yet receive a relevant reply.

                                  Airtel Do Not Call Registry — Continue to receive unsolicited calls and SMS!

                                  I registered my no [protected] 50 days back. still receiving calls from airtel and the rest of the world.
                                  No respect towards us.
                                  What is use of all this.y son is not well today and received a promptional call. Shame on AIRTEL & DND/DNC propoganda.
                                  I agree completely, AITEL DND is a big farce. I keep getting unsolicited calls from the likes of Deutsche bank and other banks.
                                  Even after registering for Do Not Disturb in AIRTEL, still receive calls from Barkley Banks, Kotak Mahindra ...

                                  Last one was from Baban , Kotak Mahindra Rajajinagar. [protected], Bangalore

                                  I have both BSNL cellone and Airtel mobile. After registering with DNC all the calls were blocked in my cellone. Yet to see this kind of maturity in Private operators like Airtel.

                                  If you receive any call from telemarketers simply threaten that u'd sue them. Its unfortunate that because of the very few who respond to telemarketers everyone pays the price.

However, Airtel has given my number to various advertising companies which repeatedly infringe my privacy. It is really offending when you are in a meeting or doing some crucial work and an unwanted call disturbs you.

                                    I am having a land line at raipur the no is[protected]. The bill for the october was 1020 and due date was 06.11.07. I have paid the bill at airtel cash counter krishna complex raipur on 06.11.07 vide recipt no. WMRYPP[protected] at around 11 am . again the recovery agent of airtell has collected the money from my house on same day around 5 pm the reciipt no. for the same is 396778. This means i paid the amount twice. I raised this with the company and company executive assured me that the amount will be adjusted in next bill the same was not adusted. I made written complain on the same at krishna complex office . MOre over I and my other family member are getting daily atleast 4-5 calls for payment. and i m getting harrased by the agents.

                                      first customer care misguide u always.............
                                      they activated my STD plan which i never opted for..............
                                      1 month back they said that they deactavted it but all lie ...i m facing this problem from last 2 or more month....i m not able to take any other plan due to this ...i called on head office no [protected] at this no head person said that its all clear .............but its hell same the same result..............pls do something ...i hope u dont want ur repo will go down ,,,,like this we r very offended.....
