Thanks for your detailed response.

May I have clarification on the following :

1.If the requested Bill plan in my subscriber enrolment form is My plan 299, Why an amount of Rs.500/- was collected as a deposit at the time of subscription ?

2.I submitted a request to change my Plan from My Plan 299 to CUG 249 on 27th October 2007 at Airtel Lobby, Begumpet as I was told that the subscriber enrolment form received at the time of activation of my mobile number is My Plan 299 which actually should be in CUG - 249.I even requested them to recalculate my bill and told them unless and until that is done I cannot pay the bill. But, there was no resolution for that and they have barred my outgoing.I cleared the amount on 13th Nov 2007 and contacted them again to change my Rate Plan to CUG - 249 as I identified that the plan didn’t got changed, but to my surprise they told me to pay an additional amount of Rs 200 for the same. I don’t know why I was told to pay 200 extra though they have charged Rs 500 at the time of subscription.(Attached a copy of the Receipt for Rate Plan change request) and I did pay Rs 200 to regain my outgoing.


As I have requested them to change my rate plan from My Plan-299 to CUG - 249 on 27th Oct 2007, I want the bill to be recalculated from 27th Oct 2007. Unless and until my bill is recalculated, I am not going to make any payments.

PS : Please refer to the complaints raised against my mobile number till now, I didn’t get any resolution till now regarding the issues I have raised. I need to escalate this issue if I don’t get immediate solution.

This is ShanthiSree LV working with GE Consumer and Industrial, Begumpet.

I have taken a New Airtel Connection from you in the month of September requesting the rate plan CUG 249 with STD 53 Topping Plan. I got a confirmation call from Airtel stating that my new connection got activated in CUG 249 with STD 53 Topping Plan. I paid Rs.500 for deposit and Rs.300 for Special Number[protected] activation while taking the connection.

But to my surprise, I observed in my first bill that all Closed User group calls have been charged and when I checked with the Airtel Customer care, I got to know that my connection got activated in the wrong plan My Plan - 299.

I placed a complaint immediately to activate the correct plan and recalculate my Bill for past two months in Airtel office, BrigadeTowers, Begumpet. I didn?t get any resolution for that for nearly two months.
Rather my outing was barred as it exceeded the credit limit in spite of mentioning in my complaint that unless my case is resolved I?ll not pay my bill. There were no updates on the case that I have placed and the case has been closed without any intimation.

The Airtel executives asked me to pay an additional amount of Rs.200 for rate plan change and released my outgoing. I wonderedwhy I have to pay an additional amount of Rs.200 to activate my number in the right plan which I had requested. I paid Rs.200 again to change my plan from My Plan ? 299 to CUG 249 with STD 53 Top-up plan to release my outgoing.

Please take appropriate action on this ASAP as this is pending for nearly
3 months and recalculate my bill as well as the bill of the following person as his outing calls to my number is also chargedwhich should not be charged as his number is?also in CUG.

This is in regards to mobile nos. [protected] and [protected] in the name of Mr. Samuel Singh. In the beginning of the month April2008 one mr.Shaillendra Mobile # [protected] an airtel sales rep came to my dad's workshop and asked if he would like to get airtel post paid connection. After getting to know the good points abt having an post paid connection my dad accepted it. He also got one sim extra. Mr.Shailendra came home and got my dad to fill up all the required documents also took all the necessary photocopys of ID proof. Checked the original for verification. Second week of April Airtel couriered us two packages containing welcome to airtel booklet and sims. My dad and me were using airtel services since then.We received our first bill first week of May. My dad paid the bills by cheque. On the 8th of May our outgoings were blocked. When i contacted cust care they told me they havent received any documents which is why they have disconnected the line. After a long arguement over the phone and speaking to floor supervisor Nilesh our phones were activated only to get deactivated again on the 13th of May. This time there was no outgoing or incoming. Again i contacted cust care spoke to supervisor Zubaida Shaikh she told me there is nothing she can do and we have to submit documents again. So my dad went and submitted the documents at the Airtel outlet at Akurdi. After 48 hours and constant follow up with Rep in Akurdi Airtel outlet our line got activated.
Its 23rd of may and again our lines are deactivated, reason documents have not been sumbitted. Again a long arguement with customer care and the connection is fine. I called cust care after the problem was resolved to ask whether history will repeat."will my connection be disconnected again after a couple of days??" cust care says "yes" systems still show ur documents havent been submitted if we dont get it in another 48 hours we will disconnected your connection. I thank all the customer care reps. viz Ganesh, Javed, Hussain and many more!!! also the once who released the call when i was still speaking.

But the bill for said month was not forwarded to me to my mailing address inspite of follow-up from my side.

with due respect it is submitted that in the my previous month bill No.[protected] dt. 21.05.08 airtel charaged Rs/ 109.63 of GPRs using. but i request to customer care vide request No.17025722 that i have never used GPRS on my mobile. you can check my GPRS Status. i request for waivering this amount. but till date or time i found no resposne from airtel.

now this month i get my bill. in this bill Airtel more Charged Rs. 192.90 of GPRS using. i fed up. i request again and aginat that i never used GPRS. i talk to customer care many time but they don't give me proper response. i fully Harrased from airtel. i dont know that its customer care or customer harrasement. i again request u to please give me justice and give me relief.

    hello.
    My name is vikas. i want to know initially airtel launch 999 rs life time,having condition u have to recharge at least one top up in 180 days to continue ur connection . Now airtel lanch 499 rs super life time,and also convert 999 rs l.t custmer in super life time. But both have same condition i.e u have to use at least 200 rs in 180 days (according to airtel custmer care ).
    I want to know what the people got who paid double amount(999rs).

      Dear sir
      This is to report the use of abusive and filthy language by airtel rep.
      A person called up from no [protected] at 1557 hrs on my wifes cell today ie 25 Jan 08 and made all lewd comments. Despite disconnecting the phone the person kept on calling and it was only when another male member picked up the phone and warned him of police action the person told that he is calling from AIRTEL and then stopped calling.

        sir/medam,

        I applied an connection of landline dated 05/12/07to Air Tel, executive name was Mr. Gaurav Sharma. Next day i recieve that landline. landline no. is [protected].But after some i recieved the call from the recovery agency of Airtel that i have a balance of 9700/-, i was much surprised because at that time i could not recieve any bill. The recovery agent discuss with me very roughly, he said that that no. was ishue to any Dreamz Comunication. after this they r sending me two bills one on the my name and other on the name of Dreamz Communication. I m paying my bill but the recovery agents pressurise me to pay the Dreamz Communication Bills. But it is too much, the recovery agent called me dated 23/01/08 from land line([protected]) at 06:34 pm on my mobile no. [protected]. he abuse me and threat me for police. My land line bill is not over 600/- amount and all payment i have made to air tel.

        Please help me, i m very suffering these types of activities and my work also suffering. Today, they have dissconnected my land line without any bill balance. i have compaint to air tel customer care, but there is no responce.

        Airtel and its staff have been calling up our employees and clients threatening them with dire consequences and even other airtel customers asking them to call up our MD as well as Chairman for recovery of some 20 laks worth of services offered by Airtel to our company. Whereas all o[censored]s know the fact that Airtel is only owed 6-7 lakhs. It is a crazy company to deal with and instead of correcting their problems they are trying to spoil our company reputation. Even genuine airtel customers are being told to call up the MD and Chairman and ask them for the company to pay its bill. This is preposterous.

          I have booked an 8 new post paid connection as on Nov 1, 2007 as in the name of PAGEMAC, Pondicherry. In that 6 Connection was ADVANCE RENTAL Plan (1399/-) existing two was in monthly rental. I have already told them to cancel this two numbers or remove from this company account.
          That was

          In that Mr. Prakash (Sales Executive from Bonjour, Pondicherry) He committed and confirmed me the plane’s given below for both the 2 numbers:

          Plane Details:
          100% CUG (Including SMS 100% Free with in the CUG)
          100 Local SMS for Every Month.
          200 MTML for Every Month. (It is totally discounted or Free as per his commitment) I will not be charged for this in the bill as per his says.
          If I am using with in the CUG Circle the monthly bill will be the maximum value of:
          Rental +Tax only!
          For [protected] : 199+23.98=222.98/- (Corporate plane 199/-)
          For [protected] : 150+18.00=168.00/- (Flexi Plane 150/-)
          That’s It, but I am facing some much of trouble with the billing’s. For December month bill I received [protected] (462.24/-) & [protected] (386/-) and for January I received every thing is gone to overdue like 1500 plus for [protected] and 1800 plus for [protected].
          How it will possible !, if i am using or calling with in the cug circle. And also if i am utilized the discounted benefits the monthly bill will be only below 300/-. For these issues I made some much calls / follow-up’s to customer care executive and call-center representatives.

          Some time they were committed, Ok every thing will be rectified and we will keep your plan as per the commitment. Because of that I started using my phone!, suddenly somebody called from ARITEL telling that every things I have to pay!.
          This is not the right customer services….
          So I ask them to cancel my account immediately but still it is on with out outgoing facility.

          This way you’re cheating the customer’s day-by-day. Kindly check my issues and verify the recorded calls and provide me the solutions with in two there days. Other wise I have all the evidence I will see to it in court.

          On Friday 29th Feb,i got a call from Airtel call center saying that a new scheam has started and the deal looked good and so we got interseted in the plan offered and agreed to pay the 800/-for a life time scheam with topups of 50Rs to 500Rs with call rate only 50ps for any local call. and 30ps for an airtelcall.
          on saturday a man came to my door when we questioned him on details regarding the connection he said he was just a dogma and so could not answer anything.He gave me a form to fill and we paid him 800/-

          When complained to the courier representative, then his response is that you get before the due date, SO KEEP QUIET.
          We dont expect such kind of responses from the courier company & also rtequest to please change the courier company for despatching the bills.

          1. My first problem is that I'm using Mobile Office Card for internet and I recharged this card on 03.04.2008 but this is activated still now. I called to yout customer care (121)from other airtel number but they did not responced this and they tell me wrong answer.
          2.My second problem is thatI'm unable to contact you(121) and I tried hundreds times to contact you but I have to face failure. From bigining I could not success to contact you.
          Such these I have some problems about your service and I'm worry to take this conection. I hope you will responce my mail.

            IR deactivation request given on 22nd oct 2007. Till date Airtel has not refunded the amount. Called up probably thousand times for the status but failed to get the right information. At times customer care just disconnects the line with out giving any valid information. Customer care promises to call back regarding the issue, never does!! I have decided to knock the doors of consumer court. Hell with Airtel.

            i m waren cusher using airtel from last 3years... my mobile no. is [protected]...this is kind harassin for someone. i m a college student n its very tough to explain to parents why my balance is gettin deducted.. i didnt not activate any service for Mobile TV but i have not activated any mobile tv kind of service...i don understand this.. since i dont need to use mobile tv anytime... they charged me thrice they paid me back twice now they have deducted Rs.40 .. even customer care is not responding well.. i spoke to manoj, jyoti kunthe and other people they responded like dumb.. now customer care is almost like a bussiness for airtel CSA s as they chare people for it..
            Hopefully some1 takes action

                Airtel — close the line of sim card

                Before 15 day's every day i getting one call from Airtel. Airtel want's some document for sim card but i had already submitted my document when i purchase the sim card. So i have one question why Airtel want's document?

                Airtel Postpaid — deactivation

                Pl. deactivate my sim which bears the phone number [protected], also i went to indranagar, bangalore.
                airtel showroom to contact regarding this the staff there were very rude and disgraceful, least bothered to listen to my complaints.

                Airtel Postpaid — postpaid sim not disactivated till

                I Major Hayat Sinhg Rautela has already lodged a complaint to disactivate my SIM (mob No [protected]) due to lost of my SIM but till neither any response nor any information received by your office. You are requested to pleaes disactivate my SIM immediately and informed me accordingly.

                Airtel — SIM card deactivation without any intimation to customer

                This is to draw your attention that My sim card Number is[protected] and it has Roaming now (at Mumbai).

                I had recd. last missed call on 8Th JAN by someone after this i did not check my mo. I check my mobile sometimes when i get time. I was checked my Mo. on 16th JAN when i found my SIM card Off.

                That's why i made a call to Airtel Customer Care Executive For couple of times, They replied in few points seperately which is as follows:- (Pls note)

                1. Your SIM card Has Closed by Airtel due to Not Confirmation of Your documents.
                2. Your SIM card Has Closed by Airtel Bcoz You did not Recharge of Rs.200/- within six months. & New SIM card has come in Market.
                3. We are Transfering Your line to Our Senior.
                4. It may be that By mistake we did not give you msg/intimation about close to your SIM card.

                But the True Facts Is:-
                1.That I have purchased this sim card four years ago and i am continue using this, So there is no question for document confirmationion in lack of any intimation.
                2.I was not aware of this that we have to recharge min.200 within six months, yet customer care had provided me the any intimation so why i would have not recharge. I would have do something.

                3.When they going to transfer line they they disconnected the line, Sorry to say but some mistake in line or in their mind.
                4.How this can happen by mistake, it's not their personal property, it's public property.

                Sir, Due to this Nonsence i have loosing relationship bcoz i am using this SIM card Since Four Years, My all relatives have only this no.

                Kindly Stop this Misguidance or autocracy which is making by AIRTEL..

                  Respected Sir,
                  I am a regular user of the new world of mobile and faces a lot of problem regarding the services given by the companies. The present complain is about the GPRS system which is enabled in my mobile no +91 [protected] And for the 1st month I used the Service and after that there is some nerwork problem . when consulting the Customer care and serive they use to state that the problem is in the local tower. And I regulary use to get deduct my account by Rs: 249.00 per month which cost a lot for me. Two months they deducted and while saying they say you should disable the service . So here the statement is that the money which I pay is to use the service and when I Do not use the serice or the product given by then it should not be chareged as the fault is there they have there network problem, not me so why should I bear the loss of two months charges with only the faith that they are working on the problem. It does not justify the word Prepaid Connection. When I have Rs. 10 I have to use Rs. 10 only not going to negative here they use to send the account negative also, whatever the problem may be. So I need some suggestion what to do?

                  Subject:- Deduction of credit for unwanted services without request

                  My cell number id [protected]. I am not subscrive any service/ no received any call from airtel today[protected] on my cell. At 13:10:28 I received a message " Dear Customer, Rs 25 has been charged for Subscription of missed You services for the current month" Sender: 4775, Message center: [protected].

                  When I talked to with Airtel Customer service officer Mr. Ajay by dialing [protected] at 15:45 hrs for know the reason of Deduction of credit for unwanted services without request now Mr. Ajay said, the service is activated as per ypur request. When I complained that I never request or subscribe that service he told me that, he is unable to provide the detail because his server is down for 24 Hrs & says to send the SMS on 121 to received the detail information & unsubscribe the service. Now I am send the SMS to 121 as per Mr. Ajay's request/Customer care officer but no response from Airtel.

                  Without my request or my knowledge Airtel have deducted for Subscription of missed call. It had been noticed that lot o[censored]nwanted sms stuffs and invitation calls are received which disturbs during office recehours / meetings. Expecting a better service from this mobile service provider in future. In name of entertainments please dont fool the customers by deducting from the credits without their knowledge or acceptance.

                  Please unsubscribe the missed call service and return my Deduction amount.

                  Sir I am having airtel prepaid sim since long and I am using this service without any problem since last couple of years. But recently I am facing lots of problem with airtel service. Presently I am residing at Orissa and y number is [protected]. On 4th Nov.11 I got one sms from customer care advising me to submit my pp photo and ID proof to the local airtel Office. On receipt of the same I contacted the local airtel Office at Brajrajnagar under Jharsuguda district Orissa state and submitted my passport size photo & ID prrof(voter ID card) but it is surprising to note that still I am getting similar sms and from 29th Nov 2011 onwards I am not in a position to call any where or to receive any call on my airtel sim. Being a leading & repurted mobile service provider in the country and in the abroad such careless and irresponsible attitude is not at all desirable. Now I am frustated with the service and I am thinking to quit the service of airtel. The local office ofr airtel under Jharsuguda district is in very bad shape and helpful to the valued customer. Hope airtel authority will look into the matter.

I submitted documents i.e . photograph & voter card along with application form. This document submitted to airtel showroom At Behind PVR Vikas Puri Delhi -59 on dated 29 DEC. 2007 . After that my Mobile was activated and serving smoothly but all of sudden from 15 Jan 2008 Evening a Message received in mobile that sim registration failed and service completely stopped then i went to show room and contacted showroom incharge , according to his suggestion again i deposited doc as voter card photo & Declaration form along with application form

                      Dear Sir/Madam

                      This is to bring into your kind notice that I, Satkarjit Singh has got a FREE AIRTEL SIM (NO. [protected]) with a purchase of NOKIA N73. I got it activated from an AIRTEL dealer ‘ SUNIL AGENCIES, OPPOSITE SHINGAR THEATRE, NEAR PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, LUDHIANA’ WITH Rs. 100 (Activation Charges) having ONE Month Validity. Then I got the same number recharged with Rs. 500 Pack. But the SIM didn’t get Activated. The same dealer issued me a NEW DUPLICATE SIM worth Rs. 190. Again I got it recharged with Rs.100 Pack with ONE month validity. The result was same, it didn’t get Activated. I approached the Head of ‘SUNIL AGENCIES’ Miss Puneet Anand. She told that the SIM is DEAD and it can’t be activate and returned Rs. 190 (which were charged for issuing duplicate SIM)

                      I have lost almost Rs. 750 and a Lot of TIME in this process. The Dealer has harassed a lot and I am left with nothing on Your side.

                      Kindly look into the matter on PRIORITY BASIS and take Necessary Action as early as possible.

                      I had gone to theAirtel gallery ( Dombivli East, Mumbai) on Dec 16th to buy a duplicate sim card and re-activate my number since I had de-activated it after I had lost my handset. Today is the 3rd day and my service has still not resumed. I have already made four trips to the Airtel Gallery in this connection and every time the customer service executive would give me one reason after another and assure me that my service would resume within two hours time, but it has never happened. Had I not taken a life time validity scheme with Airtel I would have gladly changed my service to some other service provider if I knew I was going to be put through so much trouble. If this is happening to me I wonder what is happening to all your other customers. I don’t know who is responsible for all this delay but I would appreciate it if you would take appropriate action.

                      Airtel — Prepaid card never activated

                      I bought a life time validity Prepaid card for Rs.250/- in the month of Oct 2008. They wanted proof of residence and id proof. I gave it to the dealer and after that only they sold the prepaid sim card to me. They said it would be activated within 2 days.

                      And, yes, it was activated within 2 days. My number is: [protected]. But with in the next two days, it was disconnected without any intimation. When ever I tried to dial a number, I got the message 'you have been disconnected because you have not submitted proof of residence and proof of id documents'. though I have given it to them already even while buying it, they now disconnected it without any warning. Even the customer support is not reachable. They just did not want the customer.

                      I had to go after them and gave them all the papers for the second time. This time it was done with the Airtel office at RS Puram in Coimbatore. They said within two days the connection will be restored.

                      Nothing like that happened. After four days, I approached them again. They said that I need to contact the regional office and they do not have any information on the status of the connection. By this time, the phone showed a message saying no service.

                      I contacted the zonal office of Airtel, they asked me to give the papers again. For the third time, i gave the papers. They said, within one week your connection will be restored. One week passed and no connection came up.

                      I approached the regional office again. And they said, the sim card is gone and it cannot be reactivated. it is a life time one and I do not understand why this was done. No body knows why this was done.

                      What a cheating game, Airtel plays!! Since it is Rs.250/- only they are sure that nobody will take them to the court or pull them to consumer forum!!
                      why my prepqaid no. [protected] has been deactivated? The shop from which I took the no. told me to run to malviya nagar outlet, I don't understand why airtel intends to trouble customers. I have taken two more postpaid connections, now I think airtels services are deteriorating.

                      I purchased a prepaid sim of Airtel Life time M. NO. [protected] on payment of Rs. 100 from Shri Anand Telecom, CR246 Lakshminagar, New Delhi 110092. After about Three days sim Start Working & I recharged the same with Rs. 100 from the same shop.
                      Next day it stopped working. i called customer care he told me due to verification failure your no. is permanently blocked & your balance is ceased by Airtel.
                      Then i enquired about it from Shopkeeper he also told that my no. can never be reactivated.
                      The Reason for negative verification was that Shopkeeper asked me two of my friends no's for verification & I provided him with the same.
                      But when Airtel Representative call him he did not ask my friend about me. He asked weather you have taken a no. from Airtel & asked him about Address confirmation. & his way of talking was very Rude.

                      In all this I didn't understand How i am guilty. & how can Airtel cease all customer account money.

This card having validity upto 1 year.I have not using this number since 2-3 months. 2 days ago I inserted this sim card in my mobile but its not working. It displayed that sim card is unregister. So I talked to the airtel customer care(121) two times about this problem. They answered me that TRIE has diclared the rule that if you not using your card means not doing any incoming or outgoing calls for 90 days from your card than your card will expire. Your company’s customer care executives maheshbhai and supervisors Faruk ansari and Dipak dode told me that any cellular company like Vodafone, Idea also have that rule. I have recording of that communication. I called 27th June at 11:56pm and 28th june 12:21am for 13:36 minutes and 18:31 minutes respectively. Your company’s customer care executives told me that any cellular company like Vodafone, Idea also have that rule so I also checked in these companies but they told me that there is not any conformation from TRIE that if you not doing any incoming or outgoing calls from your card then your card will expire. So I request you that please give me the information about my problem and solve my problem as soon as possible.
                      Another thing is that my second number is [protected] which I have purchased from Bombay. This card’s validity expire on 20th July 2009. I have not using this number means not done any incoming or outgoing calls from minimum 6 months still this number is active. I also visited the airtel center nearby L.G Hospital maninagar ahmedabad on 29/6/2009. I told them about my problem but they are not giving me sufficient answer. Your center’s employee have not good manners. The employee Jaimin is not talked with me properly and said that give your complain and he will send my complain to Bharti Airtel Ahmedabad. So I also write a complain there and I have a photocopy of that complain. Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

                      I am using Airtel mobile Phone No. [protected] since 1.11.2003 on pre paid basis. On 16.4.09 I approached the authorised dealer of Airtel at Showroom No.17, I Block market Sector 12 Noida 201301. He asked me to get it recharge for life time by paying Rs.99 and get it recharged for what ever amount I may like. I said OK get it recharged for life time for Rs.99 and also add Rs.500 for the talk time. He gave me the receipt for the same also His receipt No. is 550 dated 16.4.09. I again paid Rs.500 somewhere in the month of September 09 for adding the amount for the talk time. But in the last week of Nov.09 I started getting telephne calls from the Airtel office that the validity of my phone is expiring on 2.12.09 and I should get it recharge before 2nd Dec.09. I approached the dealer as to why I am being asked to recharge when there is a sufficient amount in my account. He said I may not be using the phone. I told him to check my account he can find out that I am continoously using this phone. Even number of international have also been made through this phone. He checked it an found it correct. Then the lady sitting there said she cannot help and advised me to take up the matter with the Airtel and refused to attend me and solve my problem. Since their behaviour was very rude I approached the other dealer and got it recharged for Rs.2009 with a talk time of around Rs.1800 and validity upto 2nd December, 2011. This charging of Rs.99 for life time validity is a fraud with a Retired Central Govt. official and also a Senior Lady citizen. I would request to take suitable action against the dealer and ask him to apologize for his misbehaviour with my husband who has gone to enquire in the above matter.

                      Wish tto inform that had purchased a number of Airtel last year from a shop in Sanpada-Navi Mumbai & given my documents for verification almost a month back outgoing was barred. When contacted the customer care to my surprise the shop person had registered the number given to me by other persons name. The shop person has closed his shop currently. The outgoing in total has been barred though I had requested Airtel executive on helpline to take another copy of documents from me and open the outgoing with verification. Had visited the Airtel authorised centre also but was not helped.

                      As i had given request to (airtel mobile GPRS) for activating ,they had taken the money for the two days per day Rs 10 --Totally-Rs 20,But they not given mobile settings ,and also net not activated.

                      Airtel — Delay in activation of Duplicate sim

                      Dear Sir/ Madam,

                      On Saturday morning 7/05/2011, I requested airtel customer care to block my sim as I lost it and requested for a new sim on the same no. They told me it will take only 4 hrs to reactivate the sim. I bought a duplicate sim from the nearest airtel store and provided them 1 photo identity proof. after 4 hrs, I tried to contact cutomer care for around 2 hrs., i was nvr given the line to talk to the executive. At 6'o clk in eve, i talked to the cust care, the person told me ur sim will be activated within 1 hr. After 1 hr. they told me it will take 4 hrs again. i talked to their senior, the person asked me to contact the airtel store,from whr i bought the duplicate sim, to complete their formalities. the person to whom i had the talk didn't give me a complaint no even after asking for the same.When i went to the store, they told me that their system is not updated with my details of address proof and photo, so they cudn't process my request and nw it can be done on monday only. I provided them the required documents again.
                      On monday morning i again contacted the store if my request has been forwarded, they said yes bt didnt tell me the time till whn the sim will get activated. At 3'o clk Monday, i again called customer care of airtel and asked about the status of sim and again the person said tht it will be activated in an hour. Then i took a complaint no from them as mentioned above.
                      Again i called the airtel store 4-5 times..they didnt pick my call and after 1 hr whn picked..they told me tht it will again take 24 hrs to activate my sim.
                      This all is actually ridiculous. No one was responding with correct details. Everytime they told me a new story. And since last 3 days my sim has not been activated.

                      my mobile number was rejected for the what reason i don't know. i bought a duplicate Sim of that number. about one month spent but the Sim could't get activated. company executives says wait, it will be activate soon. but the distributor of anantnag says it cannot be activated until the company recommends it.
                      i think the distributors of anantnag are not providing services to the costumers. they suck the blood of kashmiris for their own profit. the distributors also says that we are only responsible for new connections and not for revivification. but the company's banners show that "Revivification Forms Submit here"
                      also the company first provides numbers and when they become valuable in business or educational purpose, the Sims are rejected and the costumer has to submit fresh documents. as the time goes on the Sims are blocked and the customer face a huge trouble in solving the said problem.
                      please take the necessary steps to overcome from this big problem. (my mobile number was [protected])

                        my name is abhishek srivastava from lucknow. my mobile number is [protected] . i have to complaint thta ever since i purchased the sim on 2nd jan 2008 the recharge coupons is filling my account less than with 1 paise. even then u r charging ur processing fee and service tax . for eg. in ur top-up recharge of Rs 50 you r claiming the talk value of Rs 39.50. but uyou r recharging my account with Rs 39.49.
                        the same case is with ur other top-up coupons. i hav complaint this at ur call centre but they haven't not listened me properly nor taken my complaint seriously.
                        i hope u will took personal interest in my problem and my problem will be wiped out immediately.

I received the same messages continuously as ' You have the message from Anitha. to download send RMSG 19399' to 52455. charges Rs 3/sms'. I dont want to read the message from friends at a cost of Rs 3/sms. it is not friends zone. it is frauds zone. i want to rejct the messages from 52455. i told to airtel customer care. they told to send HELP to 52455 for keywords. there are no keywords to delete the account. my money is wasted by sending these type of messages at Rs 3,3,3,3,3,3....So please Help me.

                          Yes.. He is absolutely right. Airtel has adapted such cheap (business???) Cheating tactics.. Shame on Airtel.. Still Iam getting such messages from Airtel.

                          TRAI must look into such matters and should penalise them with huge monetery penalties and code of conduct. so that no other service provider would dare to take such cheating tactics to improve their revenue.. I really wonder whats TRAI doing... Is it really worth having or is it completely lost its consciousness????

                            I am a airtel landline user from past more than 4 year , my number is 42484626 , few month ago i got a letter from your side saying that your current plan which has top up of rupees 99 has been changed to rupee 199 for unlimited night surfinh from 8 pm to 8 am in morning which previously was 9 pm to 8am , i got this letter in october . the letter said that this new timmings will be activated and changed from your next billing cycle and in bracket it was written which is 26 november , so i called your so called customer care and asked if it has been activated as my billing cycle was from 16 to 15 every month , so your customer service person said yes (4 times) it has been started and i also told him that my billing cycle is from 16 to 15 he said no sir my system syas it has been activated , i asked him again he said yes sir i am sure , okay so i started using it from 8 pm so next bill what i receive is 1800 rupees ,because it was not activated because of your customer care i started using it and now i recieve 1800 which i use to pay 600 (3 times ) so i made a complaint they said they will inform me about this , and now what they say its my mistake , they are innocent i am as i new that my billing cycle was 16 to 15 they said why did u used before , i siad as i inquired your customer care said that it has been activated my new timming o[censored]nlimited surfing ,i took a long 20 days , then i got a call from some1 from your okhala branch saying that they will see and will gve me waiver , aftr all this they said as i am there old customer they will retain my previous plan and will not charge me with the new tariff and will gve me waveir , so at last i didnt got any call from your side about the complaint so i didnt pay my bill

                            2 harrased with many calls saying to pay bill other wise my phone will be dissconnected
                            3 i am paying around and over 600 from last 5 years and now i am seeing this situtaion

                            On March 01, 2008, we reminded you that the telephone was not in use w.e.f. Feb 29, 2008 and requested you to confirm disconnection of this telephone.

                            Inspite of our repeated request to disconnect our TELEPHONE No. 46088000 UNDER AIRTEL ISDN PRI 10 K PLAN, we have received following bills for the same.

                            (b) Bill No.[protected] dt. 06 May 2008 for Rs. 10228.00 for the period 05-04-08 to 04-05-08.

                            This I explained to you during my telephonic discussion today and you were kind to tell that now amount of all bills raised have been deleted and that there is no payment due to be paid by us.

                            On April 30, 2008, you have intimated that we have a credit balance of Rs. 3243. 00 in our account. This amount should be Rs. 3243.00 + Rs. 10835.27.( Bill No.[protected] dt. 06-04-08 Rs. 10835.17 period 05-03-08 to 04-04-08. Because you have adjusted payment of this bill from our account.)

                            We request you to refund balance amount of Rs. 14078.17 ( Rs. 3243.00 + 10835.17 ) immediately by a DD in our favour.

                            We have more than 36 connection of airtel every once in two days there is problem
                            1. we are not in postion to transper the line to
                            2. when ever we call to customercare not postive response.
                            3. Very very bad service
                            4. When ever we call to customer care no immediate action as taken place
                            5. We should wait for week to gether
                            6. These days the BSNL is working excellent and providing good service
                            7.though it is government dept.
                            If this is the case we shall disconnect all the 36 connections and we shall go for BSNL connections only.

                              I had filed an complaint with Centurion Bank of Punjab, Green Park on 17.04.2008. The complaint was regarding the BANK INDUCE charges(Rs.830), which they put on my account. The story is that my account was opened through YADAV TOURS (I) Ltd. It is an salary account. But when I come to know they put charges on my account, my account is an saving account(not a salary account). They are saying that I didn't keep the minimum balance & that's why they put up these charges. This is just shocking. I am not earning so much that I could keep a minimum balance (i.e. 10000). I take it up to the bank manager who's newly appointed there. He just pass that matter to Mr. Dagar who is simply a lazy person. He just pass these matter to his subordinate. Now they are saying that it will be sorted out in next month. Can somebody help me to have an solution for this.

                                    I want to bring your kind attention to the hell lot of inconvenience I am facing by the airtel company.
                                    I got my mobile number [protected] converted from prepaid to postpaid approx a week back from Chaddha Airtel Office, Dharampura Bazar, Patiala. I was issued a new sim. It got activated the very evening but the very next morning the Sim registartion failed. And it appeared that number didnt exist. I complained to the same office people and i was issued another Sim next day. But to my surprise another number on the same sim got activated. the number activated was [protected]. I got the threat calls on this number because it was a stolen mobile number.I reported to the same office again and again but they didnt helped me. When i requested them the and made aware of the loss I was facing in the business due to number inoperability, they issued me another SIM yesterday but it has still not activated. I talked to the customer care service many times but they are not cooperating at all.

                                      Express yourself! wow! what a baseline! I hope its meant to express feelings at touch of a button... sadly this isn't true with me.

                                      i had got my airtel post paid connection (450 Privilege plan mob no [protected]) few months back and I was satisfied with it. However the plan which I had opted was for high local usage and my local usage was not high. So, on 8th Jan (Tues) I approached Airtel Relationship Centre(ARC), Panaji - Goa, for conversion from postpaid to prepaid connection. I was told by the ARC executive (Ms. Dynesia) that the conversion would take 2 days(i.e. positively on 10thJan). However before approaching to ARC i was educated at the customer call centre that this type of conversion needs only 24hrs. Anyways I opted for the conversion on 8th Jan and had submitted necessary documents for the prepaid connection on the same day. After which a new prepaid SIM card was handed over to me. The postpaid connection was disconnected on the same day late in the evening, however, the prepaid card was not activated even after making several calls which were not answered by the ARC executive (Ms. Dynesia. mob no.[protected]). On 11th Jan I personally approached the ARC and only then my prepaid connection was activated in the evening.

                                      I had put this prepaid SIM card in nokia1100 B&W handset. When I tried installing the SIM in my LG KG 300 handset, the SIM card was rejected. I also tried to install the same in Nokia N73, Motorola L9 and Sonyerricsson K750i but the response was same. I immediately contacted ARC to check the card. Ms.Dynesia gave me appointment on Sat 12th Jan. When I approached ARC, Panaji, Goa, it was confirmed by Mr.Lestor/Ms.Dynesia that the SIM card was defective and replacement was only available on Tues 15th Jan. When I contacted ARC on 15th Jan I was told by Ms.Dynesia that the SIM card will now be relaced on 17th Jan(Thurs). So, again on 17th Jan I visited ARC and got the SIM card replaced. I was assured by Mr.Lestor & Mr.Gopal that the activation of the new prepaid SIM would take 2 hrs but to my dissapointment the SIM was activated after more than 24hrs(i.e on 18th Jan at 18:15hrs)

                                      On 19th Jan(Saturday) I received a SMS stating that I have to submit documents for the airtel prepaid connection to ARC to enjoy continued services. Since I had already submitted the required documents for prepaid connection during the request for conversion (8th Jan), I ignored that SMS. And now again on 21st Jan 2008 at around 13:45hrs my prepaid connection is blocked. I cannot receive or make any calls or SMS. And I also dont know when my service will be activated. Till now the connection has not been activated (22nd Jan 2008 19:20hrs)

                                      Airtel — undue delay in activation of prepaid

                                      I have given my request for migration from postpaid to prepaid at airtel branch office, Bazulla road T.Nagar on 03/04/2008 after paying requisite fees.Despite several remainders over phone and in person at your T.Nagar, harington road Chetpet, your corporate office at Santhome High road, nothing has been sorted out so far I have made several complaints vide following customer care complaint nos:

Moreover we could not get any response from the nos available in the visiting card given by Mr.Junaid.I propose to seek consumer corum if this is not rectified immediately forthe irresponsible behaviour of the staff of Airtel inclunig an executive.

                                      Hi My Name is Anupam Vishnu Kakade and I am using Airtel in September 2007 . I bought the Airtel Card in Pune. No.[protected]. My Plan is FRIENDS plan . According to the plan it was costing me 10 paise for A to A SMS charge.
                                      After that i shifted to Mumbai. And it started costing me 25 paise charge. I want a complete refund of the money since August 2007. I cant even make complaint during this period. As i call Customer Care the IVR says that this facility is temporarily unavailable . But when i go to Pune I can call Customer Care and talk to them. But they to didn't solved my problem.

                                      i am a airtel prepaid no holder and my no is [protected] for the past 4 Years. yesterday the service for my no is suspended due to the reason of non submission of documents. i want to state further that untill yesterday i didnot had any notification for the submission of documents either by phone or by message from your Airtel services. all of a sudden my no was suspended without giving me any reasonable opportunity to submit and now when i contacted my dealer and when they further contacted the customer care there is no proper response. the persons from customer care has just said that they will register the complaint. even the complaint no was also not provided to me. Am an advocate by profession. All of a sudden suspension of my account leads to the destruction of my goodwill, and further caused serious mental agony to me. Hence i here by call upon you to furnish me the proper details regarding the suspension of my no and kindly do the needful to re activate my no with in 24 hours after the receipt of this mail. Further avoid these kind of problems in future we cannot suffer for the mistakes of yours.Render us an opportunity if we really had some defects and i strongly insist you to give notifications EARLIER for the actions for which you intend to take in the case of suspension.

                                      on 17-11-12 i got a sim bearing the phone n0 [protected]. the sim has not been activated till now, pl activate it now.

                                        Hi.

                                        My call detals of airtel prepaid card is being leaked without my knowledge.

                                        so I request you to block my details from unknown user.

                                        And avail me the facility that without my signature my details shoudn't be given to anyone.

                                        Hope you will consider my complaint and help me.
