[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Deactivation

My moblie balance is always deducted when i get a msg from 54321..some cricket related msgs i get & my balance get deducted..Plz deactivate whatever that service.I didn't activate. & recover my balance...

AirTel — Deactivation of Sim Card

Hi,

This is to bring to your Notice that i am a customer of Airtel Pre-Paid Sim Card No: ([protected]) for the Past Seven (7) years and i have paid Rs.495/- to convert for the life time and i got the Acknowledgement for the Sim Card is on My name and Address at there Splended Tower Office.

During the past week i have received the message and phone call regarding the submit of the documents and on submitting the document for 3 times and also repeated call from my side to confirm the status i came know that Card is on my name and address for these i have checked so many times with customer care people i they informed to avoid the message.Because there are sending this in Bulk SMS.

On 27/10/2010 i have contact to Airtel Customer and spoken to there Manager M/s.Anjali regarding the Issue. She cross checked my details. Confirmed me that nothing will happen.

On 2/Nov/2010. my simcard is deactived with out any information.

Again i have contact Airtel Customer Care spoken to there executive Rasul. He informed that the due network problem. Sim is Deactive and by the morning it will be solve.

As per the conversion Again with Airtel Customer Care manager M/s. Anjali on 03/11/2010 evening i came to know that my number is deactived. it went for the recycle. With out any prior information they deactived my numbers which is being for seven years. Because of these i am getting of lots of inconvience and i want immediately number active.

kindly Help me in this Regard.

Airtel prepaid mobile — Sim deactivation

Sir I have been using this number [protected] since last 5 years. Recently I have went to Bangalore for official purposes. I took the new airtel connection out there number is [protected]. But when i inserted my kolkata sim in my mobile i discovered that the same has been deactivated. I did not understand the reason for the same and went to the bangalore customer service centre but they replied that they are not able to solve this problem as the sim is of Kolkata.

This sim is of great impotance to me as I am using it for last 5 years and it will be absolutely difficult for me to change to a new number for kolkata.

Further the customer service of airtel has detoriated significantly. The quality which the company use to provide has taken a great setback particularly in feild of customer care services.

All these factors are resulting in shift of customers to another operators who provide much cheaper services. As we are not getting the desired quality of service for which we are paying the premium charges when compared with the charges of other operators.

I purchased a prepaid airtel sim [[protected]]by giving proper id proof and filling up the required form .However airtel office deactivated my sim saying that the address given while buying the sim was not correct .they asked to again fill up the form and give proper proof,which i complied immediately.When i went to submit the form i was told that my sim has already been cancelled and cannot be restarted now.I had given this number in some very important applications and this sudden cancellation is causing great inconvinience to me.Also i had about 250 rs balance in my account which has been forfieted by the company.I want airtel to immediately refund the balance or restart the sim so that i can use up my money.I request airtel officials to look into my case or else i will be forced to go to consumer forum for it.
Ya its 100% true in airtel. Even it happen to me and to many of my friends. Always airtel charging money from our main balance if once we received the automated call from airtel. Eventhough we cut the call within 2 sec after hearing the computer generated voice, they used to charge us rs.15 or rs.30 based on the call we attend. If we contact customer care means, they used to tell that we only pressed the corresponding key for charging the money. Its highly irresponsible act from airtel. These problems arise if we attend the calls regarding hello tunes, airtel radio subscription, etc...also they used to set hello tune by themselves and charging from us by telling that we only select that song. See we know whether we select any song by pressing * and 9 or not, but they used to tell that because you press only, we are charging. Someone stop this idiotic thing from airtel...

I have been using airtel no [protected] for last 1 year n also recharging time to time n was in use rgularly but they have unnecessarily deleted my no . i also complainted to them but they r not giving valid reason n saying that ur card is deactivated permanently this is total harrasment please see sir about this issue

Dear Sir,

I have purchased Airtel company's sim card no.[protected] and activate after three days. Then 10 days company has deactivate my above simcard for message of my documents not received by company. So how can company has activate this sim card for 10 days without documents? I have already submit my documents at company's authorised agent's shop when sim card purchased.

This is very bad. If company have not received my documents why activate my simcard? I am very busy men. I am working with IAS. Please activate my simcard as earliest as possible and message my mobile number given below.

AirTel — SIM CARD Deactivation

But from 20th April 2011 till date my mobile number got deactivated for 3
times, stating that I have not submitted the documents. But I have submitted
all the required documents in REACH Communication(Opp. K4 police station) on 2-Mar-2011 to transfer the ownership of Post paid mobile number from Kishore Babu K(Old Customer) to Srilekha N(New customer). SR number is 36135483. My LOC number for the request is 1. When I went to REACH Communication, they have entered incorrect mobile number in LOC and send that document to AIRTEL. They have mentioned that they will send the corrected to AIRTEL. And requested for action on REACH communication.

From Airtel i have received an e-mail stating that ...."Further, we would like to inform you that currently the incoming and outgoing call service has already been active with effect from 09/05/2011 in your account.

Taking note of your current concern, we have raised a complaint against the documents submission. For your reference, the unique Service Request number is 37423946. Our team will be contacting you by[protected] within 09:30 hours."

But none from Airtel contacted me, but my SIM is deactivated for fourth time.

i had ourchased one prepaid sim card vide phone no [protected] in singrauli district MP and subsequently i had submitted the id prove like DL ,address prove on my compney letter head and my photo at the time of sim procurement .surprisingly after few days my sim card had been de activated then again i had submitted my id proves like copy of PAN card, voter id photocopy ,prove of identitiy on my compney lettor head and copy of my identity card to broker but despite of there promis my mobile no is nit activated so far

kindly arrange to activate my sim immediatly

Airtel Sim Card — DEACTIVATED SIM

WE HAD PURCHASED AIRTEL SIM ALMOST A MONTH AGO. THEY HAD GIVEN US NO . [protected].
AFTER RECEIVING MY DOCUMENTS. (VOTING CARD AND DRIVING LICENCE) THEY ACTIVATED THE
CARD. WE USED THE CARD FOR SOME TIME AND WE EVEN CALLED CUSTOMER CARE TO
DEACTIVATE RING TONE WHICH THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE US FOR.THEY DEACTIVATED
THE RING TONE AND AFTER SOME DAYS THEY DEACTIVATED THE NUMBER ALSO.

ON INQUIRING THEY SAID THEY TRIED TO CALL US BUT COULD NOT VERIFY IT SO THEY HAVE
BLOCKED THE SIM. THERE WAS NO CALL RECEIVED FROM THEM. THEY CAN ALWAYS CALL NOW AND VERIFY WHAT THEY WANT BUT THEY HAVE SIMPLY BLOCKED THE SIM.

TO RECONNECT AGAIN THEY WANT US TO PRODUCE NEW DOCUMENTS. I ASKED FOR MY OLD DOCUMENTS BACK WHICH THEY ARE NOT RETURNING SAYING THEY ARE SENT TO PUNE.

I AM VERY MUCH AFRAID THEY MIGHT MISUSE MY DOCUMENTS.

I HAVE MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINT WITH THE RETAILER BUT OF NO USE.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

IF POSSIBLE PLEASE SEND ME THE AML ADDRESS OF AIRTEL COSTOMER SERVICE.

i am dastagir i have used prepaid sim no [protected] , but long time i did not make outgoing calls so now network is blocked before 1 week . i need that same no for my use . without that no i lost my all contacts so pls give needful advice to get my no .

Dear All,

I have been a valued customer for airtel (9849598XXX) for a decade and suddenly my number got deactivated without my notice. Though there is a lot to tell about my experience to retain my number will tell you in brief. I had to relocate from AP to karnataka and asked for MPN as tata docomo offers 1p/sec on roaming during that time and airtel was on minute based billing. I have purchased tata doc sim and sent airtel for MNP they made many calls to my number to hold back despite buy another service provider sim I thought to remain with Airtel. As I have changed residence I was occasionally using my AP number. They have activated some service without concern and kept on deducting my balance so I thought not to recharge and kept on using only incoming whenever in Andhra. Suddenly they have deactivated my number even though I used just 2 days before for incoming calls. I have sent mails within one week of deactivation and kept on following up with airtel to have that number as it has my banking sms and lot of people who know that number. Today they called up after one month of interaction with 5 sent and 5 received mails, told that some documents are missing so we have deactivated. If documents were missing they should have asked on the day 1 of my first mail. Hope people who are reading this mail kindly think before taking a Airtel connection and people who want to retain should take necessary steps.
