[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid Mobile Services — Lack of efficient services and unwanted balance deduction

This is to bring into your kind consideration that i am using a
prepaid mobile number [protected] provided by airtel India. My number
exists in ndnc(national do not call registry). Still i keep on
receiving unwanted promotional messages. ther than this without my
prior permission unwanted service alerts have been activated on my
number and a day to day basis deduction is done from my number. Due to
this a loss of around INR 200 has been done to me. I have tried to
escalate the problem lot many times to the customer care and senior
officials such as the nodal officer of the area Mr.
Amitabh([protected]). But neither they are replying properly nor my
balance is reimbursed. Other than this i use internet on my handset
using the same number but the connection fails every time and a
balance deduction happens. I am unable to browse the internet but
balance gets deducted automatically. In this regard i have launched a
compliant with request number CBDMO[protected].A loss of INR 100 has
been incurred in this manner as well. No action has been taken in this
regard. Kindly understand my trouble anb take a suitable and humble
action

Airtel Prepaid Mobile Services — Don't ever call customer care in 121!

Sir,

iam an airtel prepaid user and my no. are [protected]. i deactivate service in my mobile ring tone khazana kindly.i dont want to this service use.please stope this service to my no.iam also request your customer care service 121 but they are not deactivate services of my number. so kindly deactivate this service of my numbers.

I am from Kerala( Vazhuthacadu ), maintaning an airtel prepaid connection([protected] )for the last three years. Even though i was not compltely satisfied with the connection and services, for the sake of retaining the very old number i maintaned the connection.
The problem happend from last March when we shifted our office to a new premaise where every other network was available but airtel has a serious network problem all the time the phones shown out of range, we had three other employees who were using Airtel shifted to another services From March onwards i was regularly making compalints to the customer care, I almost regidterd 49 complaints regarding the issue, everyone agrees me and assured me of a solution but nothing happens till now . No one called neither messaged
.The astonishing thing is that the distance between our office and the nearest tower is 400 meters stright . and it is the nearest tower when compared to all the other service providers

I am really un happ y with the over all treatment from the company

I had lost my mobile on July 7 and updated the loss of mobile to airtel 121 requesting to bar all calls. second day I had received a call from airtel asking if I need a replacement of the sim, for which I had replied that I will think over. next day to this call I received a call from airtel regarding replacement of sim, at that point I had clearly stated, that I am not interested to continue with this number, kindly cancel the number.

after couple of day, I again received a call stating me to take the sim, I replied to cancel the same. in aug I received a mail for the full month, so I had called up 121 and informed y I have been charged, they stated sim is not canceled! I requested them to do so.. this repeated in September and oct with late fees(amount of Rs1138)! and received a call from airtel collection team for payment. we discussed the issue and it was finalized that I need to pay only Rs542, and case is closed. in couple of day I received a letter stating to pay Rs1138 else legal action will be taken!

so I called up there appellate office to log a complain regarding the lack of service on cancelling the sim and sending a notice to pay the full amount instead of the rs542 which was discussed with the collection team. I was informed that they will study the revert back in couple of day. this call was done on Thursday, and they had promised to return a call by Monday. I did not receive any call on Monday nor Tuesday. today when I called, they state they attempted to call to the number which is canceled!

Finally they state that I need to pay the full amount, there has been lack of service from airtel, due to their mistakes I need to pay the full amount! Is there any place I can complain for the lack of service?

My Airtel no. is [protected]. i have been repeatedly facing the problem o[censored]nwanted services getting operative without any request and my balance is being deducted on there behalf.

The recent case is of some TADKA LIVE Service getting operative from 01 Dec 10 and my balance being deducted on its behalf whereas i have never requested for such service. As these services deduct Rs 10 , This service has been activated without taking any concurrence from me.Again the same service was renewed on 07 Dec 10 and Rs10 was deducted from my balance. Earlier news alert was activated though I did not ask so.

When complained to the customer care executive Mr Soma Anand on 08 Dec10 at 1038 am , the response was very pathetic.and, it was told that service will be stopped but the balance will not be refunded.With great displeasure I am informing you that I am not satisfied with the services of customer care.It was not expected by an organisation like your's.

I request you to look into this matter so that it will not be repeated in future.

Airtel / GSM Prepaid service — Lack in service

I am Deepak Udairamka. I made a request to port in with port in request code no. RD217281 from Reliance GSM to Airtel from my mobile number [protected] on 5th March 2011 and I got the message from airtel on 12th march about the successful port in.Now I am receiving the messages from other networks but not able to receive any call and whenever I tried to recharge my airtel sim, I got a failure message of the same with transaction ID 32629148 and many more other.
I sent a mail to airtel services but didn't get any response from their side.

Please help me.

Day Robbers Of Airtel

I am using airtel prepaid connection from 2006. Mobile no. is [protected]. But now unwanted services are activated without my knowledge on my mobile number and deducted balance without my concern.1st i called 198 and informed to customer care officer but still not solved my problem and now trying to call 198 always getting 1 answer only that's i[censored] need to start or stop any service pls dial *121#. this problem going on more times due this robber 2 month before i tried to port my number but the porting has been rejected by airtel. here after i don't be patient. So i will go to other network. if the airtel will not allow my port. I request to consumer officer to solve this issue pls help me..

AirTel — lack of service

the customer care always giving me the time n tell me that my connection would be proper in next 4 working hours...since 4 days...but theey are unable to repair my connection...i just fed up calling them again and again...

AirTel — unwanted Balance deduction

Dear sir, games club of airtel is quite itching me... When I recharge my mobile a massage comes that my game club is renewed and my balance is deducted... I have send msg to unsubscribe (unsubgc) many times but no positive results. Please forword this complaint to airtel administration. Thanks again honourable team.

Airtel — Balance Amount is deducted for Unwanted Services are activated without my concern

This is regarding unwanted services that are activated on my airtel mobile without my concerns .I called up airtel customer care but they were unable to tell me the date from which it is activated .I asked f how much I am charged for these services till now and that was also not answered .
I wanted these services to be deactivated but still its active .I have no option left and now I need to complain in consumer court.

Airtel Mobile — unwanted balance deduction

Dear Airtel
I got this sms on my mobile with the balance deduction of rs12 !

"Thank You for choosing MODEL VIDEO CLUB_7_12 on your airtel mobile. You have been charged Rs.12.0 for 3 days and your account balance post charging is Rs2.96 at 01:07. "

I even don't know what the service is about. So please deactivate the service and refund me the money as early as possible !
