I had taken a mobile Nop. of airtel after submitting all documents , but I received a sms stating that documents are not submitted so my outgoing calls have been stopped. I resubmitted all documents but still my outgoing calls were not activated I amm trying to call 121 ato register my complaint but I am getting only an advertisement for GPRS in the recorded service they have provided and they are not registering a complaint kindly tell me which forums I can approach for reredressal

Airtel — stopped my outgoing

I really had a very bad experience with Airtel in the past few days. I have taken a new connection from Airtel in my name, No. is [protected]. Airtel is closed my outgoing call due to address verification, while nobody come for verification at my billing address. In this regard I have registered many complaint to Airtel customer care center but no positive result come. please help me.

Airtel Prepaid — outgoing stop

i am using the airtel sim from last about 01 year as a post paid plan and on date 03/11/08, i have paid all outstanding payments to convert the same number into prepaid account along with 195 rs. extra for new sim card from your authorised showroom in aurangabad (maharashtra),



At the time of application he asked me all the documents to activate the new sim and promised that the number will activate within the 02 days, the number has been activated within time but till date 14/11/08 my outgoing facility is not activated yet, whenever i call to custmer care no. 121 they answered that your no is ok you can call, but when i try to call i got CALL REJECTED on my mobile screen and i am unable to call any of the number.



I have visited about 10 times to your outlet at aurangabad (PLUS CELLULAR SERVICE, NIRALA BAZAR AURANGABAD-431001) and requsted so many time on the mobile no. of their represntative (Mr. jawed) so many times but problem not solved till the time,



I request you to please look into before i proceed to the "CONSUMER FORUM COURT" TO LODGE THE COMPLAINT.

I USE [protected] AIRTEL PREPAID NUMBER SINCE 2003. RECENTLY AIRTEL REPRESENTIVE SENDING ME A SMS AND AKING ME TO SUBMMIT POI, ADRESS PROOF AT AIRTEL OFFICE BRANCH. BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE WHERE I LEAVE THERE IS NO ANY AIRTEL OFFICE OR BRANCH. IN PAST RECENT TIME AIRTEL REPRESENTIVE COLLECT OUR VOTER I CARD XEROX AND ALL DOCUMENTS FROM MY OFFICE OR HOME. BUT NOW THEY SEND SMS AND DICTATE TO SUBMMIT THE DOCUMENT IN AIRTEL OFFICE, OR BRANCH.SO THEY DICONNECT MY PREPAID NUMBER [protected] FROM[protected]. I WANT A HELP AND WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THIS NUMBER OTHERWISE I WILL GO WITH ANYOTHER MOBILE COMPANY CONNECTION WITH THIS NUMBER.

    Hi,

    I recently bought Airtel Digital TV Recorder (DVR). My customer ID is [protected]. I attracted towards the advertised features of the DVR. I also enjoyed the features of the same for the first month of buying your service. However, since start of the second month I am disappointed by Airtel's service.

    In the first month of buying the DVR, I was given Ultra pack for free. Everything worked fine. In the next month I opted for Economy pack and the problem started since then. Right now, I am having Supervalue pack. The programs which I recorded on DVR from the channels which were available in Ultra pack, and got automatically unsubscribed when I chose the Economy pack, I am unable to play those program from the DVR. For example, a program which I recoreded on DVR from PIX or HBO (which were part o[censored]ltra pack), I am not able to play those program from the DVR once I opted for the Economy pack.

    When I try to play any of those programs, I get a message "This channel/program is not subscribed by you. To view this program you need to add the relevant topup to your account...." Error Code: 4

    I dont understand, why should I subscribe any channel to view a program which is already available in the hard disk of the DVR.

    After several unsolved complaints (I can give all the complaint numbers along with dates), I contacted Nodal officer on email. I received a call from Mr. Roop Singh ([protected] ) on 7-Aug-10. He told me that he could not solve the problem.

    I have found out from other people and also from the internet that Airtel applies the restriction on their DVR customers. Airtel does not allow its customers to play a program from their own DVR, once a channel is unsubscribed. I dont understand that once I buy the DVR along with the Recording Topup, why should I be deprieved of playing ALL the recorded programs ? Please note that Airtel's competitor Big TV does not restrict its customers from playing recorded contents the way Airtel is restricting.

    Can I request to protect rights of the consumer in this regard ?

    Dear Customer Service Team,

    I am deeply disappionted that Nitesh Sharma ([protected]@airtel.in - Customer Services, Bharti Airtel Limited) has refused to fix the problem.

    In an email to me on 15-Sep-2010, he has written to me:
    "this facility would only be made available to any of the customers, till the time the respective channel is a part of the package activated towards the account. "

    Instead of solving the problem, I was given the policy statement ! And that is the main problem.

    I think, even after selling the DVR, Airtel is interested just in milking the money by selling the channel packages.

    I advice everybody to stay away from buying Airtel's DVR. Please note that Big TV's DVR is having more features and they dont loot their DVR customer's by forcing them to buy channel packages just to view the earlier recorded programs.

    I was an Airtel customer (Cust Id # [protected]) earlier switched to TataSkyPlus for one year since Airtel didn't have any annual packages, I switched to TataSkyplus and it was running one year without any major issues. Recently, I thought of switching over to Airtel HD with Digital Recorder package under new customer id (Cust Id# [protected]).

    After paying for the DVR & one year Ultra package (around 8K), now my set top box is not working for whatever reason. During important period (cricket matches etc...) I am unable to use this service and continue to be in this mode for the past one week. They had informed to replace the DVR set.

    I am not sure whether Airtel DVR having such common issues - when I checked with Airtel customer care, they confirmed many customers having issues with DVR. Not sure why Airtel still promoting something which is flawed. May be we Indians deserve substandard products and services. Even God cannot save this country.

      This is to bring to your kind notice that I have been cheated on account of providing Mega Pack with Free Offer period of 3 months at cost of Rs.1890/-. But unfortunately I have started receiving messages in 2 months only to recharge again.

      While installation representative (Sunil-[protected]) from Anishka Enterprises have come for the installation and confirmed 3 months subscription. When first reported this call I took Sunil from Anshika on conference with Airtel representative, where he too confirmed of receiving Rs.1890/- payment and confirmed to update in my account.

      But after 6 days of no change in status today I have called again with Srv Req[protected] and requested for solution. Surprisingly I was given no help and advised to write this mail. Look, I don’t know who is Anshika Enterprises as I have called Airtel for new connection and I am not ready to run from pillar to post to get this activated. Its your responsibility to get this fixed and enable my connection back.

      To my surprise I have also started receiving messages that your problem got resolved but actually nothing has happened.

      Only thing happened is I am rolling like Roll O Coster from front office to back office. Please find attached bill for the service which is not provided.

      Dish TV — disconnection of dish tv

      we have 2 dishes

      we have paid for [protected]-7 on 18/07 but no connectivity is there, kindly check urgently.
      Since last seven days our set top box is not working so that we r not able to view any channels. when i call to dish tv customer care they replied that my connection is in warranty so they will soul this problem with in 48 hrs.
      When there is no response up to 72 hours i again called that time they replied same that they want another ask another 48 hrs. my complain no is 19865682.

      Dish TV — No conectivity with settop box and dish antana

      Dear sir I, Mr.Dipankar Das address 7/10 Kashiram Das Road Durgapur-713205 W.B as customer since 2006 with your essteem DTH Services.My VC NO.[protected]. Before 12 days we have suffer meny problem with your deler M/S Santona Electronics that is he is not responce /cooperate with me because my complane is that I inform him my dish antana is not connected with settop box and we could not see anything elce, So you please send a mekanic and solve the prob.But he is not send anyone to solve my problem.

      Therefore I think that as a No. 1 DTH service provider would do something for me.
      So, I request you that please solve my problem and cooperate as early as possiable to disconnect my services.

      Airtel — Disconnection before due date of payment

      I have Airtel mobile no [protected],whic i am using from long time but my experience with them is poor,bills are always very high inspite of all cheapest options.Today it has croosed the limit o[censored]nsatisfaction when i was trying to call from my mobile and got the information that my telephone services are debarred because of non payment.Payment due date is 4th october 2009 and today is 3rd october 2009.
      I have lodged a complaint on 2 days back regarding high billings and requested for three months bills.Two months back they have changed my bill plan in which sms cost is only Rs.0.10,Airtel to airtel 1000 callls free +other benifits still bill was 5000+,next bill Rs.7000+
      Effect of my complaint and and informing that i will pull them in consumer court is they have disconnectd my no.today,complint number is F[protected],complaint attended by Danish at 5.35 AM on 3rd october.
      I wish to take this case in consumer court for harrasement and losses to me.
      Please advise action.

      Airtel Dishtv — Charging extra for scrapped package

      Airtel had changed their DTH packages long time back and restructured package is having more channels and less rate as compared with my current packange.

      My current package was Mega [protected]@363/pm which doesn't have all the channels.
      When I checked on Airtel's website, it has a Mega [protected]@275 pm which has more channels than my current package. They scrapped Mega Plus in Nov-09 and I was not informed.

      When I inquired the same with Airtel Customer care they said that it is not their responsibility to inform customer.

      This way Airtel is making customer fool, if customer didnt check then they would be charged for something which is non-existent.

      Airtel DishTV — RELOCATION

      Dear Sir

      I am using Airtel DishTV since 2009, on dated 27.03.2011 get the complaint to customer care for relocation to my current address Sector-12, H.No. 317, Behind VV Shoping Plaza, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad-201012, India.       I HAVE REQUESTED FOR RELOCATION OF DISH TV FROM ONE BUILDING TO ANOTHER WITHIN SAME LOCALITY ON 5TH APR 2011. I WAS GIVEN DATE 7 APR FOR THIS. BUT NO ONE COME TO ME. I CALL CUSTOMER CARE REGULARLY, EVERY DAY, THEY SAY THAT THE ENGINEER WILL COME TODAY. BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS. I AM REALLY HARRASHED BY THEIR ATTITUDE. EXTREME BAD CUSOTMER SERVICE FROM AIRTEL DISH TV.



      SO FAR 12 DAYS HAVE GONE AND NO ACTION BEEN TAKEN. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

          I have been in possession of the Airtel number [protected] for more than 4years now.
          Recently I have been out of Andaman state for 4-5 months and have not been making calls using this number. This airtel number had been recharged by me with a lifetime validity t. When in January I switched on this number I was getting Sim Card Registration Failed. I haven't been able to use this number nor been able to contact the customer care.
          yesterday on contacting the local relationship centre I was informed that the number has been deleted.
          I like to inform you that even I have the sathi pack on this number. I am using my number for more then 4 years and having validity till 2012. How can Airtel can do that to every body. I have my mobile number to every document, banking details, Resume details. It is affecting me.

          What Airtel is doing in order to reslove this problem. I have seen Airtel has done to many customers. I request to Airtel company to look into this issue and reslove it ASAP.

            Airtel/network problem — Network problem in our area

            My airtel no.is[protected].In my area the network signal is zero.Hence facing a lot of problems.Many complaints made to customer services but of no avail.Pls do something.

            This is to inform you that i Ajay Sharma Residence of 1183/13 Govind Puri, Kalkaji, New Delhi- 110019. are facing a severe problem of network at our residence. as we are living in a joint family we have around 10 connections of airtel. we have complained almost 15 to 20 times at airtel customer service. but they have never came back with any feed back or solutions. i think so that airtel is big company now and they do not need any more customers with them. there feed back teem is full o[censored]nskilled people who does not no how to solve the problems or how to have solutions . or if they have given the spesific time limit that they will return to us but like always they do not please look further to our problems or we are swithcing to some other company.

            Sir i would like to inform you that i have been facing network problem of airtel in my area (Village+Post-Gopal Nagar mahaj, Thana-Reoti District-ballia State-U.P Pincode 277208) since 20 days, i had complaint about it on 22/8/2014 this is complaint to customer care executive said that it will resolved by 26/08/2014, but till now i am face this problem.               Airtel has been cheating its customers in the name of Fair Usage Policy. When the connection is supposed to be for unlimited data transfer, they reduce the bandwidth to half of what is in the plan when the amount of downloaded data crosses 2 GB. To add insult to injury, they redirect the users to some stupid Fair Usage Policy page when in the middle of something.

              Imagine being redirected to this page when you are doing some online shopping and you are at the last step.

              I think the fair usage policy applies to everyone, So please tell us how can u justify limits as generous if you can run out of it in less than 2 days into the billing cycle? If i pay for an unlimited 4 mbps plan... i cant use it for more than an hour a day or my speeds go down 256 (28hrs o[censored]sage = 50GB). or 2 mbps plan for more than an 1-2 hours a day (45 hrs o[censored]sage = 40GB). These limits are rubbish... the limit should be Generous in the true sense... I[censored] cant provide an unlimited plan dont claim to... The only reason speeds get knocked down to 256 kbps is because any lower and the plan doesn't qualify to be BroadBand (under TRAI definition)...

                  i would like to warn all mobile consumers who are planning for airtel connection.plz refrain from using airtel connections, they are bloody thieves,charging for services which we have not subscribed to,and here is a new way of cheating customers, my mobile no.# [protected] (sim #[protected] was switched off for one month and just yesterday i switched it on, it says unregistered sim , i contacted the customer care office , they said that the no. is deleted from the airtel database , there is no way u can restart it, i had nearly rs 70 in it . they had provided me with lifetime validity , if it says lifetime validity why the hell they deleted my no. from the database for not using for one month.this has happened the second time when i lost money and the no. too. when i go through all the consumer complaints i find that airtel has most no. of the complaints,they are unethical company, and i going to ensure the airtel company that i am going to the CONSUMER COURT regarding this(my no. being deleted & the charging for services which we have not subscribed to ), as i am not going to take this lightly & make the airtel guys pay for it & also , me and my 9 friends have decided to stop doing business with airtel and they are going to unsubscribe their airtel connection on ethical grounds.i dont know whether the airtel people care or not , but at least this will ring bells in the minds of the existing and future airtel customers.

(for same number with different network provider as its possible future for india) i dont know whether the airtel people care or not, but at least this will ring bells in the minds of the existing and future airtel customers.

                  Idea — number deleted without any reason

                  Dear sir,
                  I have a idea number [protected] which is very important to me. I did not used it for about 20 to 25 days for some personal reasons. When i was try to use it again i was shocked.. Coz it was deleted. When i contacted nearest idea office in tumkur they said, my number got erased (deleted) it is not possible to restore my account.. I got cheated by Idea cellular. I dont know what to do now. Please help me...

                    i have a airtel iptv service attached with broadband & landline connection . i had made 4 complaints of not working of my iptv set top box & connection which i have bought it from airtel one year ago for Rs3500/- with taxes i pay Rs1250/- every month for this service but out of my 4 complaints-
                    1. 1st complaint was not registered
                    2. 2nd complaint was on 29th july[protected] no action took place
                    3. 3rd complaint was on 3rd august[protected] no action took place
                    4. 4th compliant was on 7th august[protected] no action took place till now

                    due to this irregular service i want compensation of my two months bill as per my complaint dates of last nine days & a period of twenty days when my services were not working. if my problem would not be solved in next 48 hours the complaint would be forwarded to the higher authorities of trai.
                    Airtel IPTV service is worst..

                      Few words I would like to Say about the over willing response of the Airtel Billing service is airtel provide the worst mobile service in Mumbai. My company suggest me use your net work & I am unable to explain your service problem. It’s my mistake that I am using to the airtel billing plan, last four month I lock the compliant in your customer care center for bill hard copy SR No.F[protected], 33471034, and 33012919. Which is lock in CC
                      I never ask Bill on mail, last three month this happening. Once lock compliant this should not repeat is it way you give service...

                        Hello,

                        I am Anubhav and my Airtel DTH Customer ID is [protected].
                        I got the Airtel DTH connection is March 2010 in BAngalore.
                        In July, I have re-located to Gurgaon.
                        On re-location I booked a service for dismantling the DTH Dish and STB for re-location purposes.
                        The service was booked for 6th july, 2010. I stayed in Bangalore till 9th July and no one turned up from Airtel DTH even after numerous follow-ups.
                        Before this when I enquired about this service, I was told by Customer Care that if I dont book the dismantling and re-setting of STB services together then I have to pay for the services twice and the condition was that I should provide them the complete address.
                        Only after writing a complaint mail that I got a confirmation that charges will be deducted once.
                        I had already paid for these charges anyways.I have been following up with Airtel customer care atleast half a dozen times everyday since then and problem is not solved.
                        Everytime I call, I have to make the Customer Care understand the problem and then they give false assurances.

                        I have also spoken to what they describe as floor supervisors.
                        Some names which I can recollect are:
                        Pramod from Indore, Mariam from lucknow, Nitesh Upadhyay, Sonu.
                        These peopel have harrased me giving false hope that problem will be rectifies.
                        Nothing has happened till date and I am not sure what next step should be appropriate form my end.

                        Whatever it is, I would not recommend anyone to go for Airtel DTH.

                          Still same Gisa-Pita response. And Mr.nitin, Technical guy had commited to send 1 person but still not one has turn up.

                          I purchased an Airtel DTH in May'10 and on August 21st 2010, there was a torrential rain after which the DTH receiver stopped receiving signal... we thought that this problem is because of the rain and waited for the day and next day it was bright and sunny still there was no signal... At this I called up Airtel DTH local customer care number [protected] & [protected]. These numbers are never attended by anybody.You can try it even now, nobody would respond. It would be switched off or would just ring till 'no answer'.
                          Then I contacted Airtel DTH 24X7 hotline at around 10 AM. I told them the problem. The customer care 'executive' had such a poor communication skills that I had to strain my ears to understand what he was saying. After giving me a hundred do's list and my telling I've checked all of it, he finally told me that they will send a representaive and the time was locked at 2:00 PM. The service ref no. was 3630537. At around 1:00 pm, I got a message on my cell stating that the problem has been resolved and I need to contact [protected] to get the service corrected.
                          I checked and still there was no signal.
                          I called up again and this time a lady responded. I had to explain the entire situation once again and she said I can get the local dealer detail by typing 'DEALER <PIN CODE>' and they'll respond (Service ref no. 3627661). I did the same and the dealer bluntly said that its sunday and nobody can come. Only on a working day they can come between 10 AM and 7 PM. I asked is this what you call Airtel 24x7 customer service at which he retorted that I'm just a dealer and I don't have anything to do with the company policy. (DEALER NAME: Electronic Plaza, Palika Bazaar, Rohtak)
                          I told him that I'm a working man and there is usually nobody at home during weekdays between 10AM and 7PM. He said then I can't do anything about it.

                          I again called Airtel and by this time I was already irritated. And this time another guys picks up the call and again gives me the same local Airtel number, then tells me to conatct the local dealer and finally says that some company rep will come at around 7.

                          For the next 5 days, I had to repeat this exercise in futility and finally got the problem solved through the local dealer after coming home a little early on the next friday i.e 27th August.

                          Why have Airtel given a local service number when they don't even care to attend it?

                          I didn't expect such a careless attitude from Airtel. Not recommended esp if you live in a Tier 2 city.

                            me and other staffer of Dy C.A.O/Traffiic accounts office, new delhi, state entry road near plaza cinema are suferring with the problems of Network at ground floor since last many ears. previously we were having 60 nos i. [protected], K.L.Dutt, [protected] anil varshney and oothers but we are having more then 200 nos having [protected] to[protected] or more corporate nos are facing the problems of the aprops but no one take the care, i.m ladging reguler complaints at costumer care (latest 14/7, 31/8.08) It is must to mention here that many time costumer care people do not regd the complaint but say not to worry but after some days themselvs clear the complaints and delete the records fron the 121(C.CARE)

                            Airtel Delhi — Network issues

                            I am using Airtel Prepaid Mobile Number [protected]. I already complained in the past and again complaining for the same reason i.e. network issues. At first, the company said everything is fine without even checking the issue and then later on when I had strong words with them, they send their network engineer. The network engineer visited the place and inspect the network issue and even he said the same that we have network issue at the place. For making and receiving each and every call, we need to move outside the premises even at night time. So this kind of service is ridiculous. We trusted Airtel hoping to be the best service provider but Airtel is not at all interested in solving the issue and now it's getting more than expected. The engineer wrote down everything, check the signals and assured me that it will be fixed soon and now he is no more in the picture. He promised that either he or Airtel will revert back in 2-3 days and it's more than 10 days and nobody showed up. So I talked and wrote to Airtel again and they said they will revert back on or before 27/07/2009 and now it's 28/07/2009 and no one has showed up. So please help.

                              I have recently shifted to Chennai, and working with one of the TOP IT MNC.

                              On 13 July I have taken a Airtel postpaid corporate connection with number +91 [protected], from Airtel Sales person Mr. Raghunathan ([protected]), and Mr. Sureshbabu ([protected]). It is a corporate CUG plan( H21 CUG 175 PLAN ) that AIRTEL is providing to employees of my Organization. While taking the connection I have submitted photocopy of the following set of documents along with a passport size photograph, and current communication address.
                              Passport
                              Pan card.
                              Without submitting these documents, legally I should not be given SIM card, also It will not be activated.

                              My SIM got activated next day, and I got the welcome letter form Welcome letter form Airtel, haing the details about my plan, at the same communication address which I have specified while taking the connection.

                              After a week, I got a SMS form Airtel, stating that "to avoid Disconnection please submit documents". Immediately I have contacted to the Customer care (198) and the sales executive Mr. Sureshbabu. I asked customer care regarding the issue and it was told to me my address proof is not submitted. I have told the customer care executive that without submitting the Documents how can I get the SIM and how it gets activated. Then customer care executive agreed on that an said OK, and said we will take care of you issue. After talking to customer care I talked to sales person, and asked them about the same issue, He said that, they have submitted the documents. I asked them to take care about this Issue, and resolve it immediately. and they said if any issues then they will call me

                              Yesterday at evening I was supposed to get an important call at around 4:30 pm, but it didnt came and I waited for the same. I have reached home at around 7:30 pm, still I haven't received call. So, I decided to call that number. When I tried to call, I observed that my SIM card registration failed. Airtel has disconnected my service without intimating me.

                              After that, I have tried to contact customer care regarding the same, form a prepaid connection, as there was no postpaid connection available at that time. The customer care told me that this is PREPAID CALL CENTER, we will not entertain POSTPAID related issue here so please call post paid call center. I asked him how can I connect to postpaid call center. He has given me a number ([protected], I don't remember now). I tried to call the number form prepaid connect, but it was connecting to PREPAID call center only. I have tried to call 2-3 time to the number but no use it was connecting to PREPAID Customer care.
                              Then I have called my friend Ranjit, who is also having Airtel post paid no, to enquire about the issue. After some time he told me that your number got disconnected.

                              Then today morning after coming to office, I have contacted to AIRTEL Post paid customer care. I ask them what is the issue, how can they disconnect my connection without intimating me. Then I asked them what is the reason for the disconnection of service, I got reply "You document was not submitted, apart from that I cannot provide much detail". Then I said i would like to speak to the your manager, then they connected me Mala.

                              Mala asked me to contact Salesperson who has given me SIM. and se has given me given me a complaint number[protected] for this call. And she told me that If you have submitted the documents, then they will give me new SIM with the same number.

                              After that I have contacted sales person Mr. Raghunathan, and asked him what is wrong. He replied, "Have you submitted the documents", I said "Yes". Then he said I will get back to you shortly.
                              I waited for 2 hours, still I haven't received call from him. Then after I have called him, and asked your are supposed to updated me about my connection why it get rejected, then he replied "your form got rejected and I don't know why, I will let you know after reaching office".


                              At present I am untraceable. I stay away from my Home, my parents call me every day. and lot of official call that I will miss because of such a poor service. It is almost one month i am using this number, and I have given this number to every know person, and also updated it for Banking transaction. Now I cannot do any urgent fund transfer, for that i need to go to Nearest branch, taking a day off in office. I have almost wasted one day in my office.

                              It is embarrassing experience, form a company which has a vision to become most admired brand in india, loved by customers, targetted by top talent, benchmark by more buisness.And Its is also to have claiming more than 130 million satisfied customer. This is how it has reached to 130+ million customer, first by getting customer by any means, then harass him and finally disconnect service.

                              Airtel — worst experience with postpaid plan

                              Dear Sir,

                              It is very bad experience with airtel postpaid.

                              I paid deposit to your handicap representative Rs. 600/- for post paid connection. Deposit were reach to your Andheri Gallery but the sim could not worked. It was time when deposit was required for post paid connection. I went to Dombivli Gallery but it was said subscription form was not proof for payment.

                              Now you come up with postpaid connection without deposit. I have subscribed since I was feeling It is that deposit worked.

                              But now it is height of cheating. I am given Rs. 1, 200/- as credit limit. I am being getting daily sms for my telephone usage excluding monthly charges/roaming usage/discounts. I received a sms at 1400 HRS on 08/5/2009 that to Rs. 900 within 24 hours for countinue service.

                              Since morning 0930 HRS I found that my outgoing calls are barred. I have to make some important call I paid Rs. 500/- at through easy recharge.

                              But in vain, I called up customer care [protected]. Automatic voice message says there is payment of Rs. 500/-. Customer care executives are insisting to pay total 900 to unbarred service after due argument they tried to connect to their seniors but call was disconnected twice.

                              You are in service sector and cheating customer or the management is worst. You made people mobile sick and cheating customer like a illiterate.

                              2. warning to deposit 900/- at 1400 HRS on 08/05/2009 withing 24 Hours

                              In short I need to discontinue this postpaid system by next bill.

                              I am having the same kind of problem, i paid my postpaid(airtel) bill on[protected] for month of sep,
                              but still im getting alerts from airtel reminding me of overdue bill. I paid my bill through VISA BILL PAY in the credit statement its showing as paid. Im clueless whom to complain as airtel customer care people are saying it is not showing in the system, planning to disconnect this connection im asked to pay Rs 2000. please help

                              I dont know how you can resolve it, without taking my concern. Why should I call Airtel and waste my time and increase my BP. Nobody contacted me till now, so tell me how my This issue is resolved.
                              If Airtel doest have my contact no (how can they have, they have simply disconnected it), but they have my email ID, So they could have reached me.
                              Why would I go to airtel again after lossing so much time and patience. Dont you know there are other providers in the market. Why I would stick to this crapy company, where customer service is so horrible, they even close issue without taking concern from other party.

                              Lastly I would say I am really Disappointed by this Act. Definately I will never opt for other airtel product.
                              DONT GO FOR POSTPAID, THAT TOO AIRTEL POSTPAID IS WORST.

                              I have been using airtel prepaid for last 3 years. Airtel sales called me many times to take post paid as good offers are there. As soon as i converted to post paid problems started.
                              1. While submitting the documents, i asked for 249 plan, BUT they activated 199 plan (in which free mins cant use for STD)
                              2. After I inserted postpaid SIM, I stopped getting some messages in my inbox. it shows only "Message Downloaded", does show original content.
                              3. They have entered my billing with full spelling mistakes, when i asked them to change over phone, they asked me to go to airtel office. (I have submitted a printed address proof, entering data in to system not my mistake, its airtel guys')
                              4. After 5 days I got a message from Airtel asking to submit photo ID and form in airtel office although I submitted documents 10 days back itself.
                              5. The final twist is, When I went to Airtel shop to submit my documents again, airtel customer care guy saying that the photo on my Driving license and current photo (recent) is not matching thatswhy they are asking to submit documents again. I said that the driving license was 10 years back that too it was small photo, how come will it exactly match with the current one. If it is not matching why did they activate connection without checking this first.
                              If they said photo not matching before they activate my postpaid, i would have continued with Prepaid only.

                              After moved to postpaid, i had to call to customer care daily for nonsense problems.

                              I am thinking unnecessarily i moved to Postpaid. Prepaid is best.

                                I am using airtel prepaid connection [protected]. i am faceing a problem from last six month that money deducted from my a/c without using any service, i contected the customer service executive he says that a service is subscribed by you, and this service is discontinued , and money is refunded to you within two hour,I am still waiting for refund. and i am surprised that after sometime the money is again deducted from my a/c.

                                  Airtel Prepaid — Failure to Block a prepaid Sim

                                  My mobile phone with airtel prepaid SIM was stolen on 16th may 2008 and even after repeatedly calling to the customer care to block my SIM, there has been no action taken. I even visited the Airtel Center Gurgaon with an FIR, but they have conveniently withdrawn their responsibility saying the server is not working and they can not do any thing. The person is still making calls from my phone and troubling my friends.

                                  I have never seen an Airtel Office without a "Sorry for Inconvenience" board. I want to know, when was the last time you made it convenient for customers?

                                  I lost my Nokia Mobile with Airtel Pre-Paid Connection on 26-June-09, I tried to inform the AirTel Customer Service since that day & finally managed to get through today (28-Jun-09), but surprisingly ... their records said that the phone no. was in their records on some one else name ? Surprisingly, my wife has been using this phone for the last three years & the connection is on her name only !!!                                     I called one airtel representative from one to one communication named manoj on july 24 and asked for airtel broad band connection.i am staying in Teachers colony koramangala 1st block.he has send one person to my house and taken the address proof and 850 rs from me .my form number is TBL 0127788. after that there is no response from him.now his number is switched off and i called the customer care and registered a complaint,service reqest number is 35963698.and the executive told he will get back before 5.30 pm next day, but still now i didnt get a feed back.so now what i have to do such an irresponsible behaviour from these executives.how can i trust Airtel for such idiotic behaviour.so please give me a solution to move forward to get my money back.i dont want to go for Airtel anymore

                                    Airtel Broadband — No response to my complaint

                                    I had made a complaint on this forum on Feb 25th 2011 and I got no response from Airtel from this website. I did get a response on http://www.complaints-india.com My complaint ID number is 11469 and the direct link to the complaint is http://www.complaints-india.com/11469/comment.html but nothing has happened till now. I just received one phone call from airtel next day asking me what the problem was and they said they will fix it. No one has visited my place to check where the problem is and I have not received anything further from Airtel. This is really pethatic. I want to discontinue with the services and want my money back that I paid upfront for the new connection.
                                    My broad band connection (Internet) is not working from the last billing cycle i.e from 23 rd Feb. 2011, before that even i have faced lot many problems in service, whenever i am asking for fixing it, the group of people responsible for fixing the problem are not listening and saying all the time line is broken at some end because of digging progresses, this is happening for more than last month. Now tell me, Why should i pay the bills... please by next 3 to 4 days either fix the problem or cancel the connectiion and relieve me from this headache kind of connection.
                                    I am your customer for last 5 months only and i have suffered a lot with your service.

                                    Airtel Broadband — No response !

                                    Dear Airtel Support,

                                    I am sorry to say that I am very much disappointed with your service since I have given a compliant (#[protected] on[protected]more than 2 weeks over! ) due to the sound disturbances with my land line phone and till now your team could not resolve the problem.The callers are complaining that they are not able to hear anything. Even I am also experiencing the same problem whenever I was trying from outside..

                                    On 16th of March your site engineer had come and confirmed that the problem is with the instrument (phone). He want to replace the instrument with an old phone which has no speaker sound, no caller id display even dial tune itself not able to hear.(Current model is Beetel Trend).

                                    I request you to look in to this issue at the earliest and resolve.

                                    AirTel — no response from customer care executive

                                    My mbl no is [protected]. i have registered my mobile no. for DND. Coustomer Care Excecutive (CCE) told that my complaint is registered and in 45 days all unnecessary calls and sms will stop. After some days i again took update and CCE told that it is in process and it will stop. Again after 2 months again i have taken review they told i have to wait for few more days.
                                    after three months again i took review and i wanted my DND registration no. and that time to my surprise CCE Mr. Suresh Rajora told that my complaint is not registered.This is a very irresponsible attitute shown by CCEs of Airtel. There is lot of miscommunication, co-ordination between them.They do not run systems properly which leeds to customer dis-satisfaction. This diaapponting msg. is going to spread among customers some days which will finally result in reducing no. of customers of airtel.After all customer is the one who makes the company or brand. disappointment.....disappointment....disappointment

                                    After launching 3 complains (3845860,3858974,3869608) with the airtel customer care nobody even cared to revert back to me on the installation of my broadband connections. After promising the delivery within 4 working days and taking money from me- nobody even called me regarding installation. The people just tend to delegate responsibility to different departments quoting the problem is on their end. Sad state of affairs at Airtel.

                                      This is fourth incidence of complaint, which they either didn't resolved or I had to do extensive escalation.
                                      Complaint number is 3476106 and 3283707despite of innumerous calls they are not resolving it.

                                      Earlier they cheated me and charged twice for extra cable wire. Cash was charged by people came for installation and they deducted from my account too.

                                      I recharged once for Rs 3350/- it took 4 days to reflect it. Again with extensive escalations.


                                      Last month signal was not coming to my TV it took 3 days to resolve it. Again I had to call every two hours.

                                      Airtel Digital — Extremely BAD Service and Customer Care

                                      We have been using Airtel Digital for more than 6 months now. 2 months back I decided to change my package from ULTRA to ECONOMY. For that I contacted their Customer Care number 12150. After 15-20 attempts i got hold of a Human Voice which told me, "Sir, there are technocal faults right now. Please try after a few days."

                                      I again tried, and by this time my Cable TV Account Balance was almost nil and hence I was told to recharge it first and only then they will be able to change the package (I still am not able to get the hang of this Looting logic). Anyways, I recharged my account with rs 600 and kept trying to get the package changed till this date.

                                      Most of the times, Customer Care call was disconnected automatically and rest of the times either customer care VERY RUDELY Disconnected the call in between me explaining my troubles or told that there are TECHNICAL iSSUES please try after a few days.

                                      Today, on 8th May 2010 I again recharged my account with Rs 300 and VOILA this time I have a new isuue to face. It has been more than 3 Hours and still my Cable connection has not been restored.

                                      I can't explain how ditched I am feeling right now. I hope, Mr Sunil Mittal (so concerned about their drop in profit for this fiscal) gets to hear any one of the NUMEROUS complaints regarding the services he is offering.

                                      Airtel DTH — most bad customer service

                                      My customer Id is [protected]. I took airtel Digital DTH connection on 9th-oct-2010 with four month plan at INR 1600. There is no instant service given to me as airtel always claims, rather took 3 days to be installed on my home after calling again and again . After one month , my airtel signal went off , showing error B001. I complained to the person who installed dth on my premises. At the first day he assured me to attend complaint till evening. But no body came. After calling many times he told me not to able attend complaint because of service person busyness. After that no satisfactory answer given to me. After that I made a call to customer-care service but they only gave me complaint number and ever since after calling many times no action is taken and mostly time I was given to another person calling number and this system continued and last person also give me first person number again. I am totally fed up with such bad airtel customer service, still no complaint is attended after four days and nobody to take accountability of customer service. There is no pathetic service and no resolution
                                      Now, I want to terminate the connection and want to get the entire amount reimbursed.
                                      I'm also planning to terminate my relationship with airtel completely with many services already availed. I don’t want but I'm forced to do this.

                                      Airtel DTH — bad customer service

                                      this is to inform you that on 29th march i requested to add (movies now) channel ,i was assured that our engineer will come to your place to align the dish for that channel but inspite of my reminder none of the person visited my place for 5 days , then after 5 days a boy came and did something with the dish, then after i called cuctomer care they told me that your channel has been added and they charged me for that top up the very same day, but till today the channel has not been started and customer care do not respond to the call in healty manner, nor they take the effort to solve the issue nither are they ready to refund the charge for that channel,
                                      from last 5 days the only answer i get from your end is wait for 30 minutes and your issue will get resolve but till today there is no progress , its been so pathetic to treat customer like beggars,

                                      Your service is one of the most crappies and pathetic service I have come across. I have logged a complain for my Airtel DTH on 2nd April 2011, the day there was final match of World cup. All of sudden the DTH stopped working and this is not the first time this has happened. I have logged many complains from that day and till now I have no resolution for it. Everytime I make call to Customer care they tell me that it will be resolved by tomorrow. If I ask them to handover the phone to their supervisor then all they do is to disconnect the call. I think its complete hopeless case.

                                      Would request if there is provision to return the Airtel DTH device and get some money back. If that is possibel then please do update me about it. I will my service provider changed as soon as possible.

                                      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — BAD Customer Support

                                      I am writing this with real frustration and pain I had gone through with your technical customer support team of AirTel TV.

                                      I am having the service for past 5 months. I have been complaining about the following problems for past 2 – 3 months.

                                      1. Pixelization problem, the video quality on many channels were very poor, this happens on and off.
                                      2. Many subscribed channels disappears from the list and not able to view them anymore.

                                      I have called the customer support many times and every time the customer support person takes my complaint and tells me that they will send someone to my home for the fix very soon. Many times I was given the time schedule for the repair. But no one comes to my home for the repair and so far not even received single call from your customer support regarding my complaints.

                                      I am really surprised by the attitude of their customer support, Horrible customer support, they have now idea of what is happening.... REALLY BAD....

                                      They don’t care about me because I am a pre paid customer? Isn’t? Is that is the mistake I have done taking one year subscription? I am paying for my High definition channels and I am not able to see them for many months….

                                      Here is my advice.... don't even think of getting AirTel TV service.
