Sir,
I am currently located in KSA(Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia) I recieve atleast 2 calls from my family/friends from India/Kerala in a day. I have noticed that when ever a call is originated from Airtel mobile provider It is always a local number on my phone (ie. a number in Saudi Arabia even though the call is from INDIA). I thought it was just a fluke incident. Then I learned about VOIP calls that are carried out with the help of internet rather than through satellite. If that is the case Airtel is making a heck of lot of money from all of out going international calls. They are cheating the India government and cheating the customers as all o[censored]s know the voip calls are much cheaper, cheaper than 1 rs/ min to GCC countries and they charge like 9 rs/min. I have also noticed a lag time while talking of about 2 seconds which only happens in VOIP calls when internet speed is low. This is a very serious issue and huge revenue drain for our government. Can anybody alert TRAI about this.

I might be wrong but can any body come up with a genuine answer or explanation. It would be greatly appreciated

    Dear sir,
    Iam using airtel prepaid number from last five yrs. My number is [protected].On 11-aug i received a msg from airtel that i have to submit address proof again. I visited nearest airtel office .They asked me ration card or voter card.But i have no such proof..I have only company given address proof letter,PAN card,driving licence only .But they did not accept.Due to this they cancle my SIM registration on 17-aug .Now if i submitted proof,they told me that i cannot get old no.Talk time of 180 Rs that contain i have in that SIM.I lost it now & my number also.
    Pls suggest me what i have to do.My mail id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in.My present contact no is [protected].

    Airtel, Prepaid Connection — RELATED TO DOCUMENTS

    My Mobile No. is [protected] from Bharthi Airtel. I have been using this No. since 1998. I have requested for migration from post paid to prepaid on 17.02.2010. I have been told to submit a fresh address & id proof for the same. I submitted the same on 18.02.2010 & got the ack from the Airtel representative. After submitting everything, it was not happened. When I called the customer care, they told me that it is not possible to solve the issue through the customer care; you need to drop in the place where you submitted the documents. After visiting the place where I submitted, they replaced the sim card which they were given me earlier for post paid to prepaid & told some problem was happened, it will be solved with in 24 hrs. After this also nothing was happened & again I spoke to the customer care. I heard the same reply from the customer care executive. Again I went to the place whare I submitted the documents & took one of the persons phone number by request. After this the migration was happened on 26th February 2010. On 08.03.2010 I received a massage stating that, “As per TARI guidelines, outgoing calls on your Airtel Number will be restricted as we are not in receipt of Airtel Enrolment form & supporting documents. Submit the same at your nearest Airtel Relationship Centre to enjoy continued service. I called the customer care again. Again they told me the same, Its not possible you need to drop in the place whare you submitted the documents. Again I went to the place & re-submitted the documents & got the Acknowledgement from the representative. On 08.03.10 at 8PM.

    Again I am receiving the massage from Airtel, stating that I need to submit the documents. Fails my incoming calls will be barred in 48 Hrs on 12.03.2010.

    How many times should I have to go the Airtel office for this issue? I am business man. About 25 people are working in my company. If I running behind them who will monitor them. Its difficult to deal with these kind of companies. Known people like me harassed like this. What about the ordinary people.

    In the same way I have been billed about Rs. 3000.00 for the month of March 2009. When I contacted the airtel told me that your Bill is not available for the month of March 2009. Contact Airtel for the same. I received SMS also for the same. When I approached the Airtel, there was no proper response from them. I have still the stored massage with me.

    Do the needful.

      I am iranian students.for 5 days my simcardmobile has been blocked.No incoming no outcoming.I went to ameerpet airtel company 3 days ago .Mr mohamad shakeel received all my ducuments and told me every thing would be ok and my simcard would be activated after 48 hours.BUt stilli am waiting and nothing happen.please urgently solve my problem I had no call with anybody for 5 days.My mother is waiting from Iran to make a call.

        After several complaints and calls to customer care service of Airtel DHT some how after 2 weeks I got the installation done with no signal. Same calling story repeated to get the signal. After few days the same problem no signal. Now since last 3 weeks I do not have signal at my home . I have tried calling customer care several times. Same false promise but no improvement in customer care service. They are well trained to make fools of customer. The problem still lies unattended but billing continues because i have already paid in advance for the subscription.
        I am fed up calling Airtel customer care. Requests any suggestion for refund and return of this product.

        Airtel DTH — Not receiving Signal and poor Customer Service

        Dear Sir,

        Here are my list of problems. ( Customer Id - [protected], Complaint Number[protected]

        1) From last five months I was getting error message SM1 as frequently as every month. I used to call up customer care and they would fix it temporarily and promise me that an Engineer will visit and fix the problem permanently by aligning the dish to the new satellite. THE ENGINEER NEVER ARRIVED.

        2) Yesterday suddenly I recieved an error message B001. I called customer care ( after 15 calls managed to speak to an executive) and was told three time that after half an hour it will be resolved automatically. But after two hours and three attempts finally I was told that an engineer will visit and fix the problem

        3) The Engineer is charing 100 rs for the visit. Why should the customer be charged. Is it a problem of damaged setup box, or dish etc ? No its a problem that your setupbox and antenna is not recieving signals because of worng satellite alignment or whatever, why should we be charged, this not product warranty. As I am writing this its almost over two hours of the time the Engineer had promised to come to fix it

        4) the customer care service is pathetic.
        a) You have to dial atleast 5 to 7 times, if you are lucky to be able to speak to a customer care executive
        b) The IVR system says press 1 to continue in English, but you are speak to an customer care executive, its pure Hindi and very very unprofessional. As if nobody has trained them etiqquetes of managing a custome
        c) No knowledge at all. I asked the executive how do I termintae, if I want to goto another service provider. He said just dont recharge. I could not stop myself from laughing
        Overall the service is very pathetic and the worst service. I dont think I will recommend Airtel DTH to anybody.

          our organisation using Airtel PRI + DSL Lines from one month. airtel sales person commite more promises to use but when the line has been installed its diffrent from his commitement. we launch a complent to customer care on same day and cancel the DSL line on same day of the installation and send respective mail to airtel for cancellation the DSL and reduce plan and for that they are redy fro the same. after few days I again contact to customer care and the sales manager regarding status but they are not ready to give proper responce and support

            I applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on 12/08/2010 through a Mr. Santosh Prajapati ([protected]). He told me that he would get approval to ensure that I get the connection in 3-4 days flat. An executive came on 13/08/2010 to me residence to ensure that it was feasible to put a connection in my residence in Hiranandani Estate, Thane (W). Its been 8 days and Mr. Prajapati has no clue when the facility would be provided to me. He has even started avoiding my phone calls as he has no concrete details. He tells me that Airtel is introducing some 'new technology' which is causing the delay. I have been sitting at home, days through to get this done, useless.
            To my dismay, when I called up the office of the nodal officer Mr. Bothra in Mumbai, a lady by the name Bharti was least interested in what I had to say. She was completely distracted and I had to explain my case to her twice. They have collected all the documents from me and now I do not know whom to approach.

            AirTel — not installing broadband

            i have paid 4495 for the charges of internate on 4/10/2010 and my cheque is cleared on 15/10/2010 my air tel form no is 250541 there sales executive said it will install in 3 days so far on 20/10/2010 i have not getting internate connection and i already told either give my money back or intall me but they are not replying me i have booked in the name of anta p jain pls help me out from this problem

              Airtel Prepaid — sim not working

              I purchased aairtel prepaid connection in my name, In May 2009. 02 days back got call from cm care, my KYC documents are not there.
              To my surprise,
              1.how they have given me connection without KYC.
              2. I have deposited my complete set of paers again with agent who issued me initial connection.
              3.I am already using airtel post paid connection in my nameno-[protected], how ccome paper's issue at time of prepaid.

              4. without any information, how my connection can be withdawn, once, not once, second time too I have gvien my KYC doduments.If your agent is not efficient enough to provide tehm at your cm care desk, how come my fault.

                Dear Sir,

                Already i am a beneficiary person of "consumer complaint forum".

                So this time also i hope same,that i will get solution of my problem.

                Above mentioned all 9 mobile numbers under CUG connections in the name of CHOPRA TIMBERS.

                Past almost one year we are facing a problem for not paying some outstanding amount of 6900/- rupees approximately(currently it is going on increasing because of late fee).

                This problem has been started before one year with only amount of 1800/- rupees,which is wrongly added to our account.

                With this problem we went to Mr.Veerabahu(SENIOR CUSTOMER RELATION MANAGER OF WHOLE TAMIL NADU)in TRIPLICANE office in chennai,he told us that this amount is wrongly added to your account.

                He gave us assurance that this amount will be adjusted in next billing cycle,but till now it is not adjusted and we are facing this problem from one year.

                And now from 2 months Mr Veera bahu is not picking up his mobile phone,and not giving any reply to our call,we caught in serious trouble.

                So pls advice us what to do with this problem?

                If possible pls ask your senior authority to speak with Mr Veera bahu(Mobile no:[protected]),because from past one year he is playing a game with us,and not responding properly,due to Mr.Veerabahu only we caught in the problem.

                pls note his colleage number also Mr.Balachandran [protected].

                Many times we are getting a calls from call centre and asking us to pay the outstanding amount,we are not able to give a reply,due to Mr.Veerabahu,and currently we do not have any type of proof to show the airtel people becuase it happened more than one year.

                So we request u to pls take necessary serious action against Mr.Veerabahu,so this thing should not be happened with others.

                      Yesterday on my phone of airtel company by a number called 56655. We got a message as follows
                      "Come talk to Deepika and get FREE RECHARGE upto Rs 200. Call 56655 now."
                      and we called them. They told me they would recharge Rs.200 on my mobile if I answer few hindi movie questions and I answered them all correctly but after sometime the phone line got cut automatically. I thought it would be a network problem but it wasn't.I tried the number again and again I answered all questions correctly but again the phone line got cut. Instead of giving us free talktime they cut our mobile phone.Give me my free talktime as I answered all questions correctly. My mobile no. is [protected].

                        Hi all,

                        My Name : Bapi reddy, my Airtel Account Numbe is : 14703327,my contact number : [protected]

                        I was a loyal customer to Airtel, I airtel's subscriber for Broadband, telephone, mobile, DTH and I also had Airtels' shares. however everything my faith completely changed in the month of july 2010, when airtel changed my connection with out my approval. (i asked for change of plan but also insisted that someone from airtel should infrom be before the plan change, for which the customer care agent agreed aswell). however, without my notice the paln was change on 5th july. when i called them to verify the same.. no go.. i spent close to 30+ hrs making 40+ calls to airtel no go..
                        whenever i asked for a superviosr they kept me on hold for 30+ mins and disconnected the call... it happend more than 10 times.. later got confirmation from one of the customer care tech that.. the issue was coz of miscommunication from airtel and i wont be billed for this.

                        again in the month of Aug 2010, i received a bill of 3500/- where in my plan is of 499 per month.
                        initgially i called on today (21st aug) spoke to a tech named Shanker.. gave me the complanint number as : 36644288, did inform me that.. airtel will check for it.. and will resolved this by 27th aug.. also informed me that.. i dont have to pay bill till aitel fixes the issues.

                        as i had a bad experince, called airtel again at 12:12pm, got accross a RUDE customer care tech.. who actually wants to fight with me.. didnt not tell me what is documented under the complaint number.. upon asking many times ( i had to shout)- then i came to knw that.. the previous tech did not document everything what he told me.. (currently i am on call with them.. on hold for 20+ mins..as i asked for a superviosr.. i am 100% sure that.. they will disconnect the call after some time).

                        the problem is that.. the agents say something on call.. but docuemtn nothing.. for which i had to have a hard time.. whot to complaint regarding this...

                        What is the process to escalte the matter.?

                        Airtel Broadband — Rude Customer Care

                        I have been looking for the Airtel broadband First thing their site is not working properly and second the customer care executive is not giving a proper answer for the questions and giving a rude expression for each of words, We may be ignorant about broadband it doesnt mean they have to attend the call in such a manner.So i would like to raise a complaint against airtel customer care

                          I had visited Europe from 14th May to 23rd May 2010 and during that visit my mobile bill amount reached a whopping amount of 25000 rupees. During the visit and soon after my visit, I kept getting calls from your Chennai and Mumbai call centers asking me If I had unknowingly activated some web applications. My answer to their query was no as I didn’t open any web application.
                          The roaming charges were not explained to me while I went abroad, I didn’t check it on my own because I didn’t anticipate such a high bill. In the past, I have been to China and Singapore and based on past experience I believed that I’d not have high bill.
                          Now My credit limit was 5,000 rupees and my bill amount exceeded well above 5,000 rupees and it reached around 25,000 rupees. Personally, I use jack pot plan which is most economical and I didn’t anticipate such a high bill.
                          Upon discussion with Ranjeeta, she reversed only 3000 rupees from my bill. She was humble and kind but that’s the most she could do. After one more round of negotiation a guy Kunal promised to reverse 2000 rupees however as a last resort, I offered to pay double the credit limit as one time settlement on restoration of my mobile services. I told him politely that I cannot pay anything beyond this.
                          The most critical issue here is that if my limit is 5000 rupees then why my Roaming charges were allowed to run to 20,000 above? There are clear guidelines about credit limits and how the usage should not be allowed to go beyond credit limit of an individual. Please do explain this.
                          do not buy the argument from your appellate authority that credit limit is not applicable to IR customers, you could have simply text messaged me by informing me about the limit and I’d have certainly taken care of this by making payment of my credit limit before asking for restoration of IR services while I was abroad.
                          I humbly request you to amicably resolve this matter at the earliest and restore my services. I am all for making the payment however 24 to 25000 rupees are way beyond my paying capacity.

                            As per government guidelines, airtel peoples are calling for document saying your document is incorrect.
                            How its possible what happen to my document i have submitted driving licence xerox and photo at the time of purchase.
                            From last 3 years i am using this number, if i spoke to customer executive he will ask date of birth, address, name every thing.

                            I had a similar experience with these guys..I have a airtel prepaid connection, which I have been using for the past 5 years..I have been receiving messages and calls for past 10 days to submit documents...Although I submitted the supporting documents twice, they still keep pestering me with messages and calls...I happened to visit the nearest office in moosapet (Hyderabad) to submit the documents and to my disbelief I was told thet they dont have application forms (is airtel doing so badly in India, that they can't even have a bunch of application forms at their so called customer care centres?) and told me to submit my documents 10 kms away at some other location...Yesterday my service was barred and I talked to the customer care representative who restored my connection on the condition that I submit the documents in 2 days...I feel really let down by this callous attitude of airtel and am contemplating change in mobile service provider

                              I have a Airtel DTH Connection Customer Id: [protected].
                              When I turned on my TV on 18th August, I got a error message B001 on my screen. This error message suggested checking the DTH cabling, I checked the cables to the best of my knowledge and that did not fix the issue.

                              I called Airtel DTH customer care on 18th August at 10:30 am, They registered my complaint (Complaint # 3591734) with an assurance that an on-field technician will visit my place and fix the issue before 3:15 pm on the same day. However there was no call/no show by any Airtel Representative that day. I tried calling the cell phone number provided by Airtel in their customer complaint opening confirmation SMS, and the person disconnected my call after a couple of rings. I called back
                              Airtel DTH customer care the same evening around 5:00 pm for a follow-up on my complaint, the Customer service representative had nothing to offer other then asking me to wait for another day and he logged another complaint for the same issue (Complaint # 3595133) with a assurance that my issue will be fixed on the following day before 4:19 pm.

                              No one called or showed up the next day till 12:00 noon, so I called Airtel DTH customer care back for a follow-up and this time I got another assurance that I will get a callback and an onsite field technician visit later in the day and the issue will be fixed before 4:19 pm. I also reached out to the "Grievance redressal" section of Airtel DTH website.

                              But history repeats itself and I still have not been contacted by anyone, forget a technician visit to fix the issue. Today is the third day that I am living with this issue.

                              I have had very good experience in the past with Airtel Broadband customer care and thought that I will have the same experience with Airtel DTH but unfortunately the service is so pathetic that a cable operator would have been able to provide better service than Airtel.

                              I have demanded a full refund from Airtel and am planning to move back to cable TV.

                              For those who read this review before planning to purchase Airtel DTH, please reconsider your decision. I don’t know which DTH service provider is better but for sure Airtel DTH service is PATHETIC!!!.

                                If you will visit site of airtel or if you will call their customer care,there is only 1 reply that,this service is not available for MP-CG customers!!
                                Is airtel trying to differentiate between states??
                                I asked for a wifi modem,but they told that company WONT give this feature to its MP-CG customers..Moreover there are certain features and facilities which all OTHER STATES have except our state

                                  I have Airtel DTH. My customer ID is [protected]-001 in the name of Ravi Shankar.And I have purchased this Airtel DTH 24.06.10.

                                  Since installation I am facing very poor service. They are making fool to consumer to make false commitment. They are using low quality Setup Box. This is the second time when my IInd Sepup Box is not working & I am unable to watch TV . Every time they take 2-3 days to resolve any complaint & make false commitment to resolve it by same day.

                                  I am very very disappointed with their customer service. I made complaint vide complaint No. 3599426. And I have made two -three time call to customer care service but every time they made false commitment. I have made 15-20 phone call (which mobile no. provided by customer care service thru SMS) to their service engineer but he refused my call after 2-3 calls.

                                  There is no time deadline to resolve the customer problem. Generally they takes 2-3 days to resolve any problem.

                                  They are installing repaired setup boxes. They have installed repired setup box in my house.
                                  I am going to forwered this compleint to CBNC & news paper media.

                                  Still my problem has not been resolved. And there is no one chennel is appering in my Airtel DTH.

                                  The day one i have taken the conncetion suffering with many issues i have contacted CC and dealer and distributors but nobody there to help Customer Issues, Who will take care about Recharge Issues I'm trying to recharge my cards since 5days but still recharge was not happened local dealer simply saying we don't know, WHO WILL TAKE YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR,
                                  i think this is the worst service in the India.
                                  i am a dd dth customer, with Beetel set top box. Recently from few days (16th july) the transmission of free dth are in irregular, why ? for a dew hours the we don't see any thing at all, then abruptly come and again gone for hours. why ? is there any problem of transmission .??

                                  Airtel DTH — False commitment

                                  I have paid the amount cash towards new Airtel DTH connection 3 days ago on 2nd July 2010.The Airtel customer executive when promoting the product told me that the installation will be within 48 hours however nobody has even bothered to call me forget about installation even after 3 days or 72 hours.Is this your commitment ??? If you are not capable to fulfill do not commit.
                                  When I called the helpdesk at 12148 now they that they have thousands of booking everyday so they cannot install that many connections and asked me to wait for a call from the engineer which never came.
                                  With so many competitive offers in the market why Airtel is so sluggish in responding to their customers.
                                  I would never suggest anybody to go for Airtel now ???

                                  RAVI — Worst Service

                                  My friend sent a letter to me through Payfex courier from Sahakarnagar Bangalore to Marathalli Bangalore. Evern after sever days the consignment was not delivered. When I contacted the customer care they gave a replay that the consignment has taken for delivery, will be delivered today. Whenever we call them, they give the same replay & they took my contact number to update the status but they never do so. After making noise the manager replied they cannot deliver the consignment since they don’t have the delivery boys, he asked to come & pick up the consignment from his office.
                                  I face this problem many times with payfex courier. Every time I pick the courier from their office instead they door deliver.
                                  If they are incapable of delivering the consignment, it should not have been booked in the first place. Eventually when there is some delay in the delivery they should keep the customer informed, they never do so even though the telephone number is available on the on the consignment.
                                  Customer are advised to precaution before sending through this courier. one can book through Speed posted which is thousand times better than these courier service.

                                  I would say so far in my career I haven’t faced such an irresponsible service support and so many no of false promises from every individual I interacted…

                                  On 04th of this month my high definition setup box didn’t not work, I tried to logged a complaint with one of the customer care executive whose voice was so arrogant which made me to ask her to transfer to escalation management team, where that person explained me patiently and logged the complaint for me as my set box was completely not working (Request # 8692335)… She promised me to send an engineer the same day by 3PM
                                  Engineer came to my resident with a normal set box to check & replace where I have got an HD one…he blamed that customer care team doesn’t give them proper informations hence he has brought the wrong one (His name – Edwin -from Indiranagar) he left the place promising that there would another engineer visiting me next day with HD setup box to replace.
                                  A person called me on Sunday noon and said that he is near my resident but unfortunately even he has brought the normal setup box so he will get the HD on Monday and fix it.

                                  Monday till evening nobody turned I really got furious and called the care team again, one by name Wasim handled my called and put me across to Praveen saying his senior manager. Praveen put me on hold for 15 mins and confirmed me back that none of the service providers near my location has High Definition setup box in stock ???!!! and the same will be available only on 8th Wednesday he requested me to hold on till that date. He also promised a callback on Wednesday with an update but never called me till now ???

                                  I had no other option & just had to wait…Tuesday I received 2 engineers calls from different places and asked about my issue – one person (by name Madhu from BTM layout) promised me at 11AM that within half an hour a person would replace my HD box, so I stayed at home for him to reach and change by skipping two official meeting…

                                  Till 1.30PM nobody turned, while I called him again he said they do not have HD box right now and they will send it once they get it in stock which will be on Wednesday. Imagine how I would have felt ?

                                  I received another 2 calls from landline asking the issue and they just disconnected their phone calls immediately receiving my answer saying “Have a Gd Day, Thanks for reaching Airtel” !!!???

                                  Mr. Edwin turned back once again on Tuesday evening with an old HD setup box while I was promised by everybody so far that I would get a new HD box replaced. While I said him the same he tried to prove that the setup box which he has got is new and the scratches found on it are just because of wear & tear… I said him “I would have taken this box if it was replaced on the same day of my complaint raised but not now since it’s been 4 days I wasted my time on this- go get me the new one” he left the place saying they don’t have any new HD boxes in stock at present.

                                  And for your information today its 10th Day completely passed with ZERO resolution !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                  In this regards I have only had wrong commitments with everyone who spoke to me and without any resolution so far… is this the kind of services your team provides just because the product’s values are less ???????????

                                  And the best part is TILL DATE MY DAILY RENTAL IS BEING CHARGED from my account.

                                  Awaiting your response on this at the earliest possible.

                                    Today has been a busy day for me. Since yesterday, when my airtel When my airtel connection was disconnected without any apt reason yesterday evening, i was really in a dilemma. When I contacted the Cusotmer Service rep yesterday evening, i came to know that the residential documents I provided was not satisfactory. I am staying in a working womens hostel run by a reputed international organisation since I am not a resident of Delhi as I hails from Kerala. Therefore, the residential proof I submitted was my hostel ID proof. You cant expect me to own a house in order to get a sim card connection!!

                                    Then, today morning again I contacted the CC rep and I informed him that I have purchased an MTNL sim and an Airtel sim before using the same documents and at that time I didn’t face any problem. Then he asked me to re-submit the documents. When I reached office , the first thing I did was scanned all the documents, I also got a residential certificate duly signed and attested from my section Director, as I am working in a Ministry. Then along with this and and other documents I mailed a complaint to the nodal officer, to which I got a reply which was ofcourse of no help to me, or nothing that would reduce my woos.

                                    Again I mailed to them requesting to consider my case as I have submitted all documents once more and still the response was the same, like-‘ We are truly sorry that we were not able to fulfill your expectations for this level of service. We value your feedback on our services. Please be assured that we share your anguish and have taken adequate steps to ensure the non-occurrence of such incident in future. It is always important for us to hear how customers react to all aspects of our services. Strong customer feedback like yours helps us continue to improve the service we provide, and we appreciate the time you took to write to us. Further, we would reiterate you to please visit the same outlet from where the sim was purchased to resubmit the documents as the enrollment form was not complete’ –so and so and so.

                                    First it was regarding documents and then it was that the enrolment form was incomplete. I purchased the sim from a shop in Andrews Gunj as I lost my mobile at that time and had no other option but to purchase a new sim from there. I resides in Central Delhi. How can i go there again only for the completion of the form? If the form was incomplete the fault is with the retailer. He should have checked it and confirmed that the form is complete.

                                    Anyway then I contacted the appellate officer for which till now there has been no response. So the next thing I did was to visit my nearby Sanchar Haat showroom and purchase a new MTNL sim. I submitted the same documents which I have submitted to the Airtel dealers and it was promptly accepted. Now my MTNL connection has been activated, thnks a lot..

                                    So i thought I should inform you customers my experience so that you might also get an idea of the service providers.

                                    AirTel — disconnection of services

                                    the services of my AIRTEL prepaid no. has been closed for past one month. we are complaining regularly about our number but no action taken for past one month. please take some necessary action so our problem get solved soon .

                                    Airtel did the same crap to me. They absolutely don't know how to keep customers and suck at communication.

                                    I'm an NRI I was told by the local store that a photocopy of my passport and visa works. I submitted everything but the visa copy went seperately to the store and the airtel representative (because of his huge ego) refused to pick up my visa copy and said bluntly "I'm going to disconnect her number."

                                    What crap. Airtel, you don't own us, you provide us service which we PAY you for. stop treating your customers as if they're below you and learn to keep your word and communicate properly.
                                    Oh, and they refuse to give me back my balance. They don't want to provide service but they want your money. That's not business. That's called stealing.

                                      I recharge my no. for sms pack with rs 21 by ussd facility on 12th aug 2010. But it stop working on 16th aug 2010 and i complaint for the same in the morning and customer care executive told me that it will be fix maximum within 48 hrs. But problem can not fixed till the given time then i again complaint for the same then they assured me that it will be fixed till 3 pm on 19th aug 2010.
                                      Due to this i faced many problems and the call center executive not give satisfied answer and one of them blame me that i didn't take their call. Their senior supervisor avoid taking my call. So please do the needful to resolve my problem.

Some few days back when i spoke with airtel customer care where they denied that the number is theirs. I wanted to inquire why airtel gprs was activated automatically and why my balance was being cut. Now there is no clue about where to complain and if there might be security problems later on. I have provided all the necessary documents while taking the sim.
