    After being a successfull client for airtel ( with # [protected]) for more than 3 and half year, i have moved to an another service provider, because in Airtel there is no one to listen for you, there are responses to your emails and no follow ups from there side, whenever u call them , firstly they will not pick up, (their help line is pathetic) and even if they pick up they dont have either sufficient access or the sufficent knowledge and some of them dnt know how to handle the situation when they dnt know, they will simply cut the call.

    I have drop and email to airtel guys, june 13th , i got an reply on 21th june, saying some crap info. but evrey time i will get Acknowledgement Mail, saying blah blah blah!!!!!!

    Again i dropped an another email on june 22nd and there is no response to it...they are just simply playing with us, they dont understand how should they treat alleast to their permanent customer, i was with airtel for more than 3.5 years, and hardly came into contact with thei bad services, evry one in my frnds used to tell me, airtel service is not good, but i stick to my decision to stay with airtel, but my friends told me when ever you need some service they will never help you out and beleive there words have come true today!!!!!

    and i have moved to another telecom service provider:

    and i request you all please dont beleive airtel service, it really really bad!!!!!!

      I want to port from airtel to vodafone, but after me getting the unique porting number and submitting all the documents to Vodafone store, now i get message from airtel saying under "contractual obligation" to stay with airtel.

      I wonder how can some force a contract on me to stay with airtel?

      The worst part after 5 times me calling to Airtel, none of the customer care executive knows the solution, its like they are forcing me to stay with Airtel. They say please wait for sometime and they never tell how long this 'Sometime' means!

      None of the managers with whom i spoke ( I spoke with 2 managers) are able to provide me an satisfying answer at all.

      I am never satisfied with Airtel (Money looting company it is), why they have to hold me back and why are they not allowing me to port out of Airtel !!!

      I am seriously frustrated to the Core with Airtel, i will make sure none of my family members are with airtel and none of my surrounding friends are with Airtel anymore.

      The way they are behaving is Insane and utter !!

      If the citizen of this country is not given the freedom to choose the service provider I don't know who has to be blamed here.

      I seriously feel like sue Airtel.

        I'm a customer of Airtel DTH Service. On[protected] i made a request to Airtel Customer care for relocation of the Airtel DTH from my present location to a new location where i had shifted on[protected] with proper address of both the places. A request id was generated bearing no 9319979 and time slot for deinstallation of the dish was alloted to me at 5.00 pm and was informed by the customer care executive that the service engineer so to say will give me a call half an hour prior to his visit.

        Although when i booked the request i was not in the city, but since i was alloted the time at 5.00 pm and my family wanted to establish the connection as soon as possible, i rushed to the destination after a journey of 3 hrs by bus, but failed to found any service personal nor received any call. The day went on. The next day[protected] by 3.30 pm it was the dead line of the request made, i got a call from customer care executive enquiring abt the status of the call whether the request have been resolved. I informed that the request is still pending and i've not received any call from the service personel or centre of Dehradun, Uttaranchal. After the call i received an SMS from Airtel DTH stating "Dear Customer, request no 9319979 for wrong resolution (domino)" -- i couldn't understand the meaning of the SMS. Even on[protected] no response, finally i called customer care and enquired them about my issue but they failed to reply why the job was not done, when i asked for contact person and contact no of the higher authority of Airtel DTH to complain about the issue the cutomer care executive denied to give the no and name, after several calls i was finally forwarded to Mr. Subojit who inroduced himself to be the Sr. Supervisor and heard about the problem. The funniest thing was that even after three days the supervisor asked me that tell me the address from where the deinstallation is to be done and the address of the new location where installation is to be done, when i asked why you need this information again and again he told that the address is not mentioned in the request. This is nothing but simply airtel is cheating their customers by making fake excuses. I would rather like the senior executives or the key executives to hear the recorded conversation of the request id 9319979 on[protected] and every thing will bw crystal clear. I have been harassed by Airtel DTH service, from last three days i am runing from Haridwar to Dehradun to carry on my job as well as get the airtel dth connection relocated but the airtel dth service personel are sleeping they don't bother for their cutomers.

        It is really shameful that a so called major brand is providing such a poor, irresponsible service is a capital city like Dehradun. If Airtel is providing such a poor and irresponsible service in capital city Dehradun that we can imagine what a kind of services they might be providing in other remote parts of the country. In short cutomers are being cheated by airtel.

        Over and above i want my job to be done now without any service charge as a penalty and compensation from aitrel dth for the harrasment i have to face for relocation of the connection. If required i will move ahead for leagal actions through concerned authorities against airtel dth services for the harassment.

        I would like to bring to your notice that the complain for relocation was made on[protected] and finally on[protected] the request was completed. My airtel dth account is has been charged for this non utilisation of service periods. Therefore i request you to refund the burn rate of my plan in my account Since[protected] till[protected].

          My name is Arush Nagpal and my number is [protected].I recently bought a new nokia X2-01 qwerty phone with the airtel offer that I would be entitled to use 100 mb gprs on my mobile for free that would be credited every month till 12 months but I am very upset that I was betrayed.For one month there were no extra charges but after 29 days on 20 June 2011, my balance was reduced by Rs.100.For 2 days I was unable to contact airtel on their customer care no. 198.When I chose the option to make a complaint about balance deduction,the call was disconnected.When I got to the customer care executive,I was told that I was using internet from airtel liveand not mobile office due to which I was charged at the rate 30ps/20kb.The fact is that I had myself contacted customer care to send me the internet settings which I failed to receive when the offer was started. Now when I told the executive to send me the correct settings he told me he couldn't and told me to send a message MO to 54321.I didnt receive the settings even after sending the message.Please help me as soon as possible otherwise I would lose a further 100 rs.in the next few days.

          Airtel Nokia — Deduction from Balance

          my previous balance our 692.49 again it has been disturbed from Airtel Office. Rs.2.60 has got deducted from my currency. Now my present phone balance is 689.89. Inspite of several online complaints still my currency in phone is being disturbed.

            This is Suresh from Siemens, Bangalore want to bring undesirable event to the notice.

            In total I possess 3 Airtel corporate mobile connections for several years for official, business and personal purpose.

            All of a sudden the number which I use for external communication (Business, etc) is converted from corporate postpaid to pre-paid without my knowledge and from past 4-5 days there is no incoming or outgoing facility. All of a sudden started getting "Your service is barred as you don't have enough balance" when tried to call.

            Finally I called up customer care on 20th Jun 2011 and found out a strange answer that, I personally made a Request on 18th June 2011 in some Airtel outlet to change the plan (from post-paid corporate to Pre-paid). After long discussion the support team claims that it is a mistake from their side and now in order to bring back to the previous state again I need to visit some Airtel vendor. Does it make any sense? Should I runaround for all the nonsense to correct the mistake that someone has done.

            Yet again I patiently waited for 2 more days and sent an email to [protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@in.airtel.com explaining the problem. I got an acknowledgement on 21st that the issue would be resolved in 24hrs, but it is more than 48 hours and didn’t get any further response.

            Yet again I spoke to CSR and floor Manager of Airtel on 23rd and the latest answer is to wait until Monday. I’m really fed up with the response from one amongst India’s top mobile service provider.

            Is there anybody in Airtel who can take some responsibility to really check and rectify the issue at the earliest?

            Bharti Airtel — change of prepaid to postpaid plan

            in spite of somany requests and waisting money on talking to local officials they are not changing my prepaid plan to post plan. They say it will be done only after three months.Butwhy?
            I have depositsed all address, photo identityand check.
            These are all real and Airtel is trying to make the public fool.
            A reply is sent on 27th Jun 2011 to Airtelpresence with all required information (address, alternate number for communication, etc) hope to see some Presence from Aitel??

            Nothing is resolved, it is more than 10 days I’m waiting for some solution. Every alternate day I'm calling Airtel and checking the status and each time I get different irresponsible, sick response.

              Dear Sir,

              I am very old customer of airtel (Saurav Sharma), my landline no : [protected], but in last few weeks the service I am gettting is awful, I am feeling shame to say that "I have airtel connection".

              I start from beginning, On 6 June 20011, I receive a call from airtel executive (Ankit) who tried to offer me Airtel 999 broadband plan, I like the offer and told him to start this plan immediately but he replied that this plan will be effected in your next billing cycle.

              I told the guy that I need this plan immediately so give me some time to think but on 11 June 2011, I offically made a request to airtel that I need this plan in my next billing cycle which start from 17 June 2011.

              Afterthat I call several times to airtel to confirm that my plan will be migrated on 17 June and everyone told me that "yes your request under processing and will be activate on 17 June" (you can verify call recording details if don't trust me) Even on 17 June 2011, I called again then one of lady airtel executive said that "Sir, I had activated your plan, please turn off your modem and switch on back after 5 min, you can use your migrated plan." That Sucks to me again.

              I think if airtel not able to fullfill their commitment & their employees giving false statement then airtel should not be in this business.

              This is not the end, I am still hoping, so i called again on 18 june 2011 and launch a complaint "47789304", where airtel executive told me sir, "this is a probmen at our end and will be fix in 24- 48 hours, so i have to wait till tuesday,

              Now,21 June 2011 when i called airtel, i got a ridiculous answer from airtel executive that "due to technical reason my plan was not updated, so they will activate my plan in next billing cycle which starts from 17 July"

              Could you please help me to know that what action should i take against airtel or any person who is responsible for this delay.

              What a great response I am getting from airtel, that now airtel made up a request on behalf of me to Cancel my airtel number [protected] becuase I launch a complaint in consumer complaint forum.

              So, in another way Airtel giving message to all customers that if you had a problem then bear it otherwise get out.

              See below mail send by Airtel team for cancellation of my number and just to prove my point i attaching my 22-06-11 mail also .

                I buy a airtel 3G net setter two weeks before.They said they provide speed of 3.2 MB downloading speed.but i don't get speed of about 10 Kb.I'm not able to use the net.so much time taken to load even Google home page.Please solve the issue this problem as soon as possible.we didn't get this free.we pay money for buying this.why they behave like this to there customer

                Even though u bought a 3G netsetter.
                It is connected to 2G network (in above figure connection is shown as EDGE). So, the max theoretical limit is 384 kilo bits ps / 48 Kilo Bytes ps

                Change the network to 3G mode (WCDMA/HSPA 2100 MHz)

                  This is Sandeep Kunjir, from Pune. Had intalled Airtel Digital TV HD DTH connection in August 2010. My customer ID is [protected]. The Set Top Box went dead on 12th of June 2011 and no further signals were received. When complained the Engineer Came and was told the Set Top box would be replaced with 2/3 days. Its 12 days now and still I am getting answers that I will have to wait for 3/4 days more as HD boxes are not available.
                  Also I would like to know that will these days which were passed without connection will be added to my expiry date???
                  Or is this the case, since I have already paid a years subscription in Advance, (subscription expires in May 2012) so nobody cares from your side.

                  Airtel DTH — DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER CARE from AIRTEL DTH

                  This is Rajendran, an existing AIRTEL digital TV customer for the last one year. I have registered for HD upgrade in the AIRTEL WEB page in the last week of July-2010. An Airtel person with name Kiren Kotkar called me and then clarified the details and advised me to pay Rs.2265/ as the charge for the upgrade. I have paid the same through IVRS. The person then informed me that the airtel person will visit my residence in 48 hours and install the HD compatible set top box. Even after three days passage no one ever called me up. Then I have started contacting the customer care thro No[protected] & 12148 almost three times a day. Every time the customer care person will deliberate with the back end person and inform me that the airtel person will call me up in 2 hours and the set box will be installed today. That 'to day' has never materialized so far. I have repeatedly contacted the customer care almost more than fifty times. Every time, I will keep explain the story and get the same reply with added apologetic words for the delay. This is repeating even today. The biggest advantage for the customer care person and the gravest disadvantage for the customer is that the same person will not be talking to you again. Hence a simple apologetic word is sufficient for them. This is how the customer care is being taken care by the big corporates also. No customer care person need to face the customer again. I even got the cell no. of an higher lever airtel executive and could communicate with him yesterday(after many days of repeated attempts and listening to the same voice informing me that the cell phone is kept switched off) . He was serious enough to look into the problem and finally intimated me that the job will be done today(i.e. yesterday the 17th Aug.2010). But even today my disappointment continues. They may have many problems of including non availability of the instrument etc. But at least the local person who has to implement the same can have the courtesy of calling the customer and inform him the status and the probable date of installation. Neither they are bothered to inform nor the customer care persons give the local area contact no.(This is their policy as informed by them.). And today when I tried to contact that higher level executive, the same answer repeats “Sorry the cell phone you are trying to contact is switched off. Kindly try later”.
                  So we keep talking to the personnel sitting in the customer care center and giving promises every day and we keep listening to them as a matter of fun. I do not know whether the instrument will be installed at all? Are they serious about the customer care at all? Only the time will answer.
                  Airtel service is damn bad and . Their customer service is pathetic and service centre never answer to phone. My registered mobile number is [protected] and I'm trying to get my problem resolved but nobody is bother to look into. I have put many mails to Nodaldl and airtelDTH but no outcome.

                  Airtel DTH — Disappointing service and customer care

                  I have an airtel DTH HD (updgraded from normal one) i tried subscribing a new HD channel for last 3 weeks, and its still not subscribed. i complaint, few person called me, still not resolved, few days back the substandard remote stopped working, and the worse the STB showed a message to reboot and when i restarted it's stuck at 'first installation process' . I've been complaining this about last 4 days (today is 4th day), today when i called up customer care, one guy said 'ya,'ya' to all the details i told(i've been repeating this since last 4 days) and disconnected the call. They keep giving me a same number to call up engineer and the engineer keep telling that they don't cover my area. They also give a time everytime i call up. This really disappointing from a company like airtel for which i always had good impression of their services. I'm trying my best not to use false language because they really are testing my patience.
                  right now i feel like screaming and shouting if i get one of the senior official in front of me.

                    I am a prepaid customer of Airtel.Before six month back i recharge my account for an amount of Rs.299 to access GPRS but i am not able to access the same in the next month i also recharge the same to access it but there is same thing. After several request and after depositing the 3 rd month amount i got the setting and access internet.in this connection i would say that Bharti Airtel is extracting mony from its customers.In the fourth month I will pay Rs. 2000/- for acessing internet and after that i disconnect that GPRS sevice from my phone and stop recharging for GPRS.After that in every 15 days i have got one masage from airtel that your subsciption for yahoo Zone will be renewed with in 2 days.You will be charged Rs.10 /- for this sevice. I will pay for such a service that i never use . The customer care service 121 of air tel never receive any complain from its customers what i tried for several times. My Mobile No is [protected]

                        3G PLAN 100 Rs 100 MB Free not considered in the above mentioned bills. Actually when 3G Plan launched after 1 week ,I received a call from airtel customer care centre to activate 3G plan. At that time I confirmed to activate 3G 100 RS PLAN. Customer care executive also confirmed for this activation. Executive told that I am activating 3G 100 RS PLAN.I also confirmed and agreed. But in the above bills it has not considered. please find your call records and listen my conversation with customer care executive for 3G PLAN activation. please resolve this after verifying your call voice records. It’s not good to gamble the customers like this.
                        Because of this i got more bill approxamately 3000Rs(May +June month).please kindly
                        check my voice records while talking with customer care executive(what i spoke with customer care ) .Its not fair.I am using this connection from last 3 years till now there is no issue.

                        My fake internet bill problem is not resolved completely.

                        i got fake and gambled bill for May and june months(details given below).

                        After communicating many times every day. I got only discount for 1103 Rs only for June month(Bill Number:[protected] only. they are not consdering May month bill(Bill Number’s:[protected]They didnt give May month fake charges nearly -1800Rs still now.Intially they told reason it has been activated on 6ht April 2011. and imdiately it has been deactivated from 7th April onwards.now recently they are telling stories like it has been activated from 23/06/2011 -3G -100 Rs plan-100 MB Free.airtel customer care is gmabling like anything.they are confusing and giving wrong diffrent statements in each and evry mail.I will copy some sample mails which i ahve received from airtel customer care.one mail is conforming that 3G-100Rs plan has been activated on 7/04/2011. and other mail is saying that it has been activated on 23/06/2011.

                        please find the mails wht i received from airtel customer care.

                        By reading above 2 mails how airtel is gambling customers like me by saying diffrent things evrytime. while taking with airtel customercare, they told diffrent reasons like "it has been charged more because u have sent messages to 121 like that" . I cant provide that proof here(because its voice na).Because of this i lost nearly 3000rs .Just they gave 1100rs discount recently.still I am losting 1800rs.

                        please try to resolve my problem...

                          I am not receiving 3G network at my residence. Before purchasing the airtel 3G data card I did a feasibility check by airtel and they confirmed that I will receive proper 3G network at my residence. I have written and called the airtel customer care several times but no one really seems to be bothered for the resolution. They just seems to be selling their product and then no services after. I have evern written to their nodal and applet office but with no results.

                          No one ever called me from Airtel to know the status and you guys have marked it closed as resolved. This is really pathetic.

                          Could you let me know what you have done to resolve the problem? after reporting problems to all your level nothing has been done or nothing has happened till date. I am still struggling to get 3G network at my residence.
                          If you can't provide the propere services why do you start selling them to customers?
                          Does anybody in this forum know how to register this fraundent with consumer court?

                            i am using airtel prepaid service , my number is [protected],i am working in MNC bangalore. Now i want to change my number into my corporate H22 CUG 199 plan, here airtel executive not reply properly to me about this sim migration, Im not interested to loose this number instead of taking new CUG Number. I'not interested to have two sim's & two num's...Still i want stick with only Airtel not other provider.So change my num to Postpaid CUG.

                              My Name is Abhishek Gupta . I Got Airtel 3G Dongel activated on 19/05 /11 . My Sim no. is [protected]. I have opted for 2GB PLAN @750/- On using the services for 18days my connection was barred on 05/06 on inquiring I was told that bill amount is 30, 000 so unless i make the interim payment the connection can not be activated .On telling them the statistics which one can see while using the dongel it was showing usage of only 1.24GB but seems logics does not work in Big Companies like Airtel and I was told that I have to wait till the final bill is not generated ... Which means company has not allowed me to use 0.75 GBS which was balance in the plan . <br />
                              Now once I have received the bill there was another shock for me as the amount was showing 16, 000 even though the itemised bill which they have sent is showing the consumption lower than 2GB . I am in touch with their diffrent offices - Nodal, Appelete asking for reasoning of this sort of inflated bills and the discrepencie in the statistics which is being shown in Dongel ( Live usages ) and bill which is as high as 61% .<br />
                              I have again told to wait till few more days time untill someone got to attend the reasoning right . In between my dongel is useless for nearly 20 days and since it is post paid connection - I am paying for the rental without usages ...<br />

                              Will any senior officer from Airtel will take note of the same and resolve the issue and customer dissatisfaction ..

                              I got a call from someone named Mr. Rahul from corporate office but the discussions were devoid of any logics and merly an attempt to eyewash that how the billing was correct .



                              I have asked very simple and logical questions during the conversation which were :



                              - I have Subscribed for Rs 750 /- plan which allows me for 2gb consumption .



                              - Now as per the stastistics which is being shown in ur Airtel 3g dongel is only 1.24 GB while as itemised bills are showing the consumption of little lesser than 2GB ( 2160221 KB'S Precisely ) then How come there is so huge discrepency between live usages statistics and your itemised bills - It is more than 55% ( I would have accepted if it is +_ 10 % )



                              - Now even going by your itemised bill also the consumption is lesser than 2GB then how come the bill was made of 16, 000/- odd Rupees which actually should be of of Rs 750 / - + Taxes .



                              - I was told that the company billing cycle is from 8th to 7th of every month so the Bill period changes are calculated on prorata basis and so as the consumption - I simple argument is why this information on billing cycle was not provided at the begning when I have subscribed for this plan - It Clearly indicate the complany malintentions for the customer to fall into the Trap ...

                              Otherwise I could have been more stingy in the usages ...



                              - Even If you will calculate it on Prorata basis then from 19th May to 7th June makes consumption period of 20 days which means I should have been charged 500 /- for Bill period charges and subsequently on prorata basis the data consumption would have been 1.33 GB - Which is covering my data consumption of 1.24 GB ( As per the Dongel statistics ) .



                              But seems no body from corporate office is willing to buy these logics and what in return I was told very rudely that the way bill is generated in correct and you need to pay this much of the amount ???



                              So I feel lucky that the amount which is being shown here is only 16, 000/- and not 60, 000/- or 6, 00, 000/- as if you want to justify your stand then every thing can be calculated accordingly even though it has nothing to do with the Logics.



                              I request you to please look into it and depute someone who can seriously look into this issue and help to resolve the same and keep the customers intact .

                                    For the last 2 month my net is not working properly, form last 2 weeks it has stopped working, my landline is dead for 2 weeks. Everytime I lodge a complain your engineers respond to the call but in the end the problem persists. Today I have received a message from airtel that my problem is solved, but reality is nothing has been done not even a engineer has visited my site.                                       I am holding your connection no.[protected] since 1995. From last three months I am harrassed by airtel
                                      by deductjng balance by activating unwanted services. I have made my complaints about this before also.
                                      Only due to this I have deactivated all my 3G services from last month
                                      And now again on 20th june2011 they have deducted RS 60 from my balance I lounged a complaint on 198
                                      at 7.00am then they send me the message of deactivation of service but my balance was not refunded.
                                      and again on 21st june 2011 my balance was deducted by RS 60 by making complaint they told me that I
                                      have activated 2g internet service and also told me that this money will not be refunded.
                                      Just think as I am having 3g smart phone why would I activate 2G services.
                                      So I am fed up from your malafied services and this is the last warning before going to the appropiate
                                      consumer courts as I am having full records of our communication and evidences.
