can any body clarify whether the HD STB bought on offer (it came with Sony Led tv for Rs. 1750) from Airtel is your own property or of Airtel?
By the way any STB bought for a certain price is your property or of the company?
I didn't renew the subscription for a long time so they say that they've the right to confiscate the STB unless I renew since it's always a property of Airtel?

    Airtel is now becoming master in poor service and wrong billing, few weeks back
    one of my colleague was fighting for wrong billing and now its my turn.

    My Bill plan is 750 for 5 GB and I received bill of 4494 socking amount while
    with no much extra use. According to usage alert I used my 100% quota on 29th June 2012 and after that I used some MB data on 30th June and then no use of data card. According to plan I should receive 750+extra(maximum 10 MB) but received such huge amount which is totally rubbish.

    When I put them e-mail, customer support is simply says that they have verified and its not over billed while they don't have any answer to usage alert screenshot which I shared with them. I believe this is their policy to cheat customers who can't fight as they usually don't listen your concern. Moreover my credit limit is also 1400 and then how can bill grow up to more than 3 times of credit limit.

    Now my simple question is

    1: What is your credit limit means?
    2: Is your usage alert system bogus which gives garbage result and if yes then how can we trust your billing system
    3: Why this is happening so often(My Colleague also faced same issue)

    Now when I asked to disconnect my data card until this issue resolved then they says that I would have to first pay bill...........what the hell

    Hi,

    I had opted for international roaming. during this time i have made only 1 outgoing call to [protected]. But i can see that i am being billed for few other numbers for which i have not made calls at all. I do not see any of those numbers in my mobile also.

    I would disagree with these charges.

    I want somebody from Airtel to fix this issue. you should not bill a customer for the calls which is not being made.

    This is to bring to your notice that in invoice #[protected] and[protected] there is an addition of Rs.30/- each against Hello tune subscreption charges. We have never subscribed for any hello tune. Please rectify and let us know.

    This is to bring to your notice that a complain regarding disconnecting a number.My previous number [protected] had been disconnected after i had talked to all the concerned airtel officials and to Mr. Malik(Executive Phase 2- Mohali). But till now we have been recieving bills and legal letters regarding the non payment of this bill even when we had got the coneection disconnected on 12th December, 2006. for that reason only in my parallel connection with number [protected] the outgoing calls had been barred we have been facing this problem from past 6 months and have been constantly talking to the executives all over in your network but to our dis tress we have been constantly harrased and till now no action has been taken. we are sorry to inform that we are not satisfied with your services and are forced to think over for the withdrawal of all our Airtel Connections. Requesting you to take some action as soon as possible.

    Bill No.[protected],7th Oct'07, I Observe , when i was on roaming(Andhra) on 11th-14th sep'07 and 26th-27th sep'07 all the SMSes have been charged Twice,Thrice,Four times with fraction of difference in seconds and the total value of sms is Rs.5522. My mobile connection comes under CUG and the total amount of Rs.10603.54 has been paid through ECS. The complaint was lodged on 6th Nov'07 to Ms.Sarala(ref.no.[protected]. She said , my problem would be attended with in 48hours. Today(1oth), when i followed up, Ms.Praveena came on line, further, received one more ref.No.[protected]. Still waiting for proper favourable reply. Kindly do the needful immeditely.
    I have got the AIRTEL Connection sometimes in Apr-2007. And I had given standing instruction to AIRTEL to debit the telephone bill against my Credit Card. On 15-JUN-2007 the have debited 7053.52 on my Credit Card. But AIRTEL already debited the original bill for my mobile number prior to that. In a month they debited twice in my account. After several follow ups with AIRTEL I have not got any response. My credit Card belongs to ICICI. So I have approached ICICI telling that to which account they have credited money. Because this money 7053.52 was not showing against my Telephone number in AIRTEL side. On 08-JAN-2008 I have got the response from ICICI that this transactions belongs to you and I have to pay this money with interest on this amount. Can anybody guide me in this regard
    I am a postpaid user of Airtel since last 2 years & paying the bills regularly, Most of the time I am getting charged for GPRS though I have paid a advance for powerpack of GPRS and getting promises only for the adjustment.
    Requesting Airtel to solve the issue otherwise tell me to surrender the card.

    my mobile number is [protected] i took my cell on feb13th 2008.i own a black berry cell phone.i imported it from us i took a airtel sim.i called the airtel costumor care for assiatance on gprs settings. they gave me a number 7070 by name blackberry care.they made me wait for 4min on line and charged 19.12 rs. they told me that it is a tollfree number.then how can they charge me ???????????when i complained against that at coustomer care they are giving me different answers...............one says mony is not refundable,one says money is already refunded,anothersays wait for one more day...................i"ve beeen calling them since 19th no refund of balance till now can any one hlp me out. airtel is looting the people i think it should be punished ...........................................
    I am using lifetime prepaid connection([protected]) of airtel. i activated moblie to pc internet service from airtel. For this service i talked 4-5 customer care excutive for charges and how i will receive this services. They all tell me that only I have to Rs.599 monthly rentle and than surfing and downloading free for all month, not mentioned that it is not free for all sites.
    But when download some freeware application from different sites they charge me over hundred rupees. when i complained for that the airtel customer care excutives told me that it is understood that downloading is chargable except few sites, we do dont know which are there free sites.
    we request you to Airtel to refund my money back and please clearify there schemes, no hidden information please.

I registered for NEW Number is [protected], According to your rules and regulations after verification as per norms, if your verifications department satisfied, then only they should activate my number on the basis of their report and then only you should raise bill related to activated number, How it is possible to raise bill, for deactivated account, when ever you are raising account or bill related to number on me first you verify, then if you are satisfied with your norms, then raise account or bill and then raise bill, with out doing your formalities how you can raise Bill.

    I want explanation from your officials regarding the above mentioned matter.

    I have already requested to send my monthly bill through my email id [protected]@engineer.com for this i have already requested for stoping my paper bill. Now i am not getting my paper bill as well as (electronic bill) through email. contacted customer care and so many time sms send to 121 for the bill of April month and continue email bill in future but no responce yet. This is totally unexpected behaviour from airtel.

    I am having a airtel mobile no [protected]. I had paid advance rental of 998 for 2 year under their scheme on july 2007 now they again send me a bill of advance rental. I had facility to auto debit from my credit card for this mobile they debited the disputed bill while i had given a written mail to my credit card division. who is responsible for this Airtel is doing wrong billing & HDFC Bank is paying for the bill for which i already given a letter to stop the payment

    Few comments on airtel services. I am the luckiest in this world that i have used AIRTLE number. AIRTEL my foot. They charge the customer in the way that customer is earning for them to pay their bill. they customer pocket is their on pocket. Chor kahin ke... my number was deactivated on the 23/jan/09. I don't know how the number was activated again. They love their customers a lot. Airtel services are bad than worse. I don't know that Person like AR Rehman can be the brand ambassdor. So sad. Airtel Customer care treat customer like a child. customers ko bewkoof banate hai. Respond nahi karte. Bill theek nahi ata. I was like a nightmare to using AIRTEL number.

    I logged my complain on your 121 by phone and they told me that this matter will resolve within 48hours and i will get a call confirming that but i ve still not received any call from your side.
    I ve Asked for your noddle office number but that was wrong number.
    I ve Asked for my details and wriiten document confirming that i ve made this calls but they said clearly Sir we cant confirm this as we dont have any confirmations
    On upon force asking they said me that this calls are made on some islands i ve never heard the name of that place even which airtel people telling me.
    Airtel disconnected my number without informing me even and i ve faced too much of inconvience.
    When i been to your airtel outlet they simply told me that we cant help you.You please pay your bill.
    I make myself very clear that i am not gonna pay Rs 5920.18 at any circumstances and ready to pay my actual bill which is Rs 362.49

    Airtel — Reversal of Mobile Office Charges

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
    The matter is that, me bought new SIM connection mobile no. [protected] form a dealer in Saharanpur (UPW) on 4th May (Monday) & submitted a photocopy of my Passport as photo ID & res address proof along a photograph on form duly signed...

    Me was to use this second connection for roaming in DELHI NCR (Gurgoan) to keep in contact with my mumma as me been admitted in hospital for some medical treatment & use Internet (Mobile Office) services to keep in touch with business mails etcetra.. so activated Mobile Office the very first day i started from my home town..

    Given this new number to Doctor / Local relatives & Else family members in home town

    & The problem start when on 8th May (Friday) me saw no tower signal (service) available & thought might be some temp connection error. BUT actually my services were terminated & me after called Airtel CC [protected] as STD call & explained & requested to pls start services asap & ws being told that my Signature on ph. copy if ID not matching with FORM of Airtel & so the officer i talked more than 15mins & they clearly denied that Services on your connection are terminated & wont be restored until fresh papers will be submitted. arghhh! is so annoying when some services being in so Important situation when mobile is more important than neccesity!!

    & the days past anyhow & after treatment & long stay in Gurgaan I came back & submitted fresh ~ a bit darker (same passport id) photocopy & connection was opened next day on 19th MAY &... THE MATTER MAKES SO AGRESSIVE TO CUSTOMER LIKE ME WHEN i check my balance & Rs. 180 ( 20Rs/day ) deducted for Mobile Ofiice for 9 days EVEN there were NO servic signal active on my cellfone ( that i NEVER ever could de activate OR got any prompt OR EVEN had signal ~tower on connection to send any message or command to Airtel server)

    & Server OR Airtel Officers so smart that they JUST cut my connection with knife & kept making hole in my pocket by deducting Rs. 20/- daily.

    me complained at 121 CC on 20th MAY & talked officer Ashustosh & he told u wil get feedback in 24 hours.. NOTHING!! next day talked Raman & again explained all & he made talk his senior Aarti & she gave me assurance that they wil give reversal til monday 25th & nothing till then even...AGAIN i called 25th Monday & each time call connects 121 new officer ..& again to explain all matter & again to talk new senior officer & this time ws Mr. Lokesh Who told same ..dont worry sir.. your complaint is genuine & wil definately get reversal til eve & wil get reversal of Rs. 180 & feedback on my this no. [protected] or my alternate regular number [protected] ( that is 24x7days open) & stil no cal...NOTHING!!

    I NEED JUSTICE & ANSWER TO MY QUESTION AS AM CONSUMER OF MOBILE SERVICES THAT GOT LICENCE TO LOOT PEOPLE WITH UN GENUINE REASONS & BRING CONSUMER IN PROBLEM WITHOUT BRING IN PRIOR KNOWLEDGE.

    **still for any clearfications i have voice call records what & how decently or ever even misbehaved ..& how genuinely i talked & explained my problem several times to any of officer(s) mentioned above.
    I was using Airtel No. [protected] from last 8 years i had very few issues with them, later in the month of October 2008 i took additional connection where in i was told that call from [protected] to [protected] and calls from [protected] to [protected] will be free, but still i was charged in the bill first bill of [protected] after new connection. I lauched a complain in airtel and it was reversed for that bill. Again in the next months bill same problem was repeated again i made a complain and it got reversed. Later in the Feb 2009 when the bill amount was little higher they refused to make the revesal for bill of [protected] and i was told that the call made from [protected] was only free for [protected] and not the call made from [protected] to [protected]. later i paid the bill of [protected] 2500 Rs. and converted it in to prepaid i recharged that mobile with 350 Rs. but they did not activate this no. I visited the gallery saveral times but they did not activate that card.
    I refused to pay the bill of [protected] and after 2 bill its services were stopped. still i made the payment of the bill whatever was right according to me after adjusting my depostit kept with them. My services were stopped.
    Now after 3 months I have received a letter saying that you have to pay 650 Rs. otherwise we will take legal action againast you. They have mentioned Manoj Yadavs name to contact with but his both the nos. are either busy or switched off.
    I just want to tell them 650 Rs. is not a big amount for me they must have my records with them i never defaulted any payments and my bill have been more than 2000 Rs. and i have paid them.
    But i will not pay the amount which is wrong.
    Please advice what action needs to be taken for it.

    Am using a airtel corporate postpaid connection.My bill date is 02 of every month.
    Untill second evening if i see my total unbillied it wil be 1500/- but when they generate the bill on 3rd it will be 2000/-.
    I got 450 minutes of free calls.They start charging from 1st day.They give a explanation that free calls will be calculated only when the bill is generated.
    But the bill gets incresed rather than decresing at the end of month..
    Every month i pay a amount of 2000/-approximately.I have not missed even a single month.
    But these customer care people keeping on calling even for 200/-.rs if there is a outstanding.


    Very poor service and Iam planning to surrender by airtel and take a new connection with some other service providers.

    I have cancelled my post paid connection [[protected]] by the month of Feb, 2009. And one of the agent called me and convinced me to take the sim back after 10 days of my cancellation. He never called me after that. By the month of May, another agent named Antic Anand called me and he handed over the sim to me. Once i used it after 10 days i was asked to pay the monthly rental for the month of March and April. Even after my repeated requests my problem was not resolved and i was forced to pay the rentals for the month i didnt use the sim. Airtel started daytime robbery!!!

    I am sick of Airtel Braodband. I had a connection and started receiving inflated bills. It took more than 4 months to get rid of the connection by paying Rs 6000.

    What is triubling me that I keep on getting bills on a connection which has been disconnected, I have a receipot that says the connection has been terminated, final payment received, instruments recieved back but still I get bill everyminth.

    is Airtel a big company? Is Airtel a reliable company? Is Aoirtel a managed company?

    I doubt.

    Does the Company listen to any complaint? No.

    I want to attract your attention towards the issue of wrong billing for the month of june 2009. In this bill I had been charged Rs. 1900 (approx) for using ISD services. The call made is in the same number and the number is of Switzerland.

    My point of argument is that I had not made a single call from my number till date still I had been charged. In the month of June means before completion of my billing cycle which falls on 24th of every month I had contacted customer care more than 3 times regarding the complaint of excessive increase in unbilled amount but every time I got the answer that we are unable to do anything we can provide the answer only after the completion of billing cycle and also the executive said that there is nothing to worry every thing will be resolved.
    I said that if this doesnt stop you will ask me to make the payment for the same increased amount at that time they assured me this will not happen. But now I had been charged for the same.
    I continuously kept on asking for the increase in the amount but no one helped me at that time and now they are asking me to pay for that amount which I had not used for.

    Airtel — mistake in billing plan

    i have an airtel landline connection in Bhopal.
    i had requested for disconnect my connection on 28 may through email.
    after that they called me for change my plan to 180/- (my current plan was 699/-). i refused this offer many time, but they told me to think again. after some days when they called me daily for change my connection to 180/-. i was agree to change my plan to 180/-. they give me an expected date for change my plan 4 june. but till 6 june my plan was not change. on that day i am fire a complaint against that they again give me an expected date 10 june. and i had used my plan 699/- and ask daily when will my plan will change?
    on 10 june i again asked for change my plan but they told me that my plan is 699/ active i am again used my 699/- facility. but on 11 june when i asked them about my plan change. they told me that it was already change on 10 june and they give me bill according to 180/- on 10 june. i just want they charged me on 10 june as per 699/- plan. so what i do???????

    It may be noted that there are wrong billing of RS 48 against 290601 in sms section . also this type of wrong billing is continuing for above mobile since last 3 months .
    every month i have complained to airtel customer care, i have all the mail in written, airtel customer case has taken action also and corrected bill and assured that " they have checked " no additional services are activated and from next month wrong billing will not be done .
    But after all assurance and followup airtel billing section is continuing wrong billing.
    last month this has been referd to airtel nodal officer level but unfortunatly they have not looked in to the issue and not even talked to me, one sided they replied that what ever airtel is billing it is correct and i am bound to pay.

    I went to china for attending conference i bought calling card from Airtel service centre of Rs 500. I have dial code of china as mentioned in the card. The Airtel has charges double as my mobile has IDS but i have not used. I complaint to Airtel on 121 but they replied the bill is correct the bill is too much . My card has limitation i have used only that. In my Airtel bill they are showing same china code for international dialing i have to dial 00 then country code of India then residence number. The billing is wrong. Please look into this matter. My mobile no is [protected]. I have not paid bill.
    I am having an Airtel post-paid number and been charged against my own number and voice mail number while I was on international roaming. Since I have not made any of these calls (obviously how can you call yourself), I have requested Airtel to revisit the bill, but they simply refused to do it, as it’s on international billing and it can not be done.

    Also no explanation provided on called number discrepancy. I would not recommend anyone to use Airtel.

    I am shocked when I complainted for deactivation of all my services but they were not done upon my request by concered departments of Airtel.(http://gclub.in,love pack,hello tunes,etc)

    Moreover,my cellphone is Samsung SGR220,which is GPRS incompatible but Airtel tells me that i have used GPRS with Nokia 6300 and NOKIA 2630 which i do't have.....Kindly help and has charged nearly Rs. 3000 through it...

    Airtel — Deposit refund and wrong debit into my account

    I have discontinued my Airtel connection and have been seeking refund from Airtel for the past 6 months or so, neither I have received my money back and on top of it they have debited my account again in June for a bill they have raised for May when the connections have been disconnected in mid April itself.

    Airtel — Wrong billing followed by withdrawal of services within the period of advance rental plan

    I have always opted for advance rental plan of AIrtel. Everything was fine till Nov'08, when Airtel stopped sending monthly.bills. After long persuasion, they started sending the bill but with lot of additional charges levied e.g. late fee, itemization charge, etc. Till Oct'08, no charges were levied on account of itemization, i.e details of calls made. Also, this charge is not included in the bill of any other services like Vodafone & Idea, used by me. Customer care executives give contact no. of Nodal officer but on calling the said no. it is found to be switched of always. I sent mails to several Nodal officers of Airtel but no response has yet been received.Now, when I refused to pay extra amount, my services have been withdrewn without intimation, which is rediculous.

    Airtel — wrong bill and disconnect the line many times

    21/12/2009.In this no.[protected] i prakash kumar debata take new airtel connection but many times it will be disconnect so i can't pay the the bill,i am not happy with the service.today how could i give the bill at this type of service.today my number is invalid.please solve the problem and close the number.
    I have taken mobile connection from airtel with I-PHONE.
    they had offer of free 599mb usage of GPRS free with this connectin.
    while doing initial provision, one of their employee made a mistake.and i m being charged every month
    for Rs 600 for the same, which is free .

    Freedom Plan 6 Months-up — Wrong Billing

    I am using Post paid Freedom plan 6 months-upe for last over a year.I have been regularly paying in time.The last advance rental for six months of Rs 799+Local toping of Rs.49 & Rs.34(STD"1.[protected]@Re.1) was paid by me in august 2009 at Ascent Enterprises, 2/54, Shivani Plaza,Vijay Khand-2, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow vide there receipt no:174478 Dated-07/08/2009.However the facility of Rs.34 for STD reduced rate was not being given to me from September to December 2009.On contacting the Dealer he gave me a rebate of Rs.544/-only.
    The person I was dealing with is named 'Mr.Shadab' he could not satisfy me at all.On repeated request with him he only gave me false promises that he will give me a call and let me know the details,but he never informed me any thing ,he even ignored my calls on his mobile,only after giving him four to five calls he could answered my call and told me that he will let me know the details in 15 minutes.Which he never did.It was a show of poor customer relationship.
    I have after deduction of Rs.544/-paid your bill Dated.18-12-09.As the due date.is[protected].I am still not satisfied by the rebate given to me.I there fore request you to give me a call back and clarify my doubt.

    You have done following mistake

    1. You have charged for all CUG calls between ([protected] [protected] [protected] [protected]).

    2. You have adjusted CUG calls in normal free min (100 min and 300 min )

    3. You have charged the TAX for the same.

    When a client pays his her bill one day delay you penalizing him her but for the past three months you are billing me wrongly.

    Airtel Mobile — Billing Issues

    This is in regards to my mobile number - [protected].

    A couple of months ago I called up customer care @ 121 and enquired to change my Bill Plan. Previously I was being billed fo Airtel 444 plan but the STD rates were Re. 1/- minute.
    I only have STD usage if you look into the billing history. Now that all the mobile service providers are providing 50 paise per minute, there is no sense that I should continue with
    Re. 1 per minute plan. So I spoke to one of your representative a couple of months ago and he advised me to go for Airtel Advantage 199 plan.

    He advised that I'll be getting 149 minutes free calls to all Airtel numbers (both STD and Local) but my last two months bill does not have any discount on the final charges. And due to
    this I have not paid my bills for Dec and Jan.

    Today again I spoke to one of your representative and she told me that it was only applicable on local charges and as I was incorrectly advised she will give me a waiver of Rs. 150/-
    on my outstanding bills. She also told me that she has arrange a Supervisor call within two hours from now to look into this matter.

    IMORTANT THING - I only have STD usage on my airtel [protected] number. I want a plan in which I shall get all airtel call @ 50 paise per minute and without any un necessary higher rental
    charges as airtel adv. 199 plan. In this I do not get any discount or free usage on my STD calls. Please suggest a good plan if you have or shall I move to some other service provider. As they
    have better plans with less rental charges.

    Airtel — Billing more than my usage.

    I am using airtel postpaid connection from the past one and half years and getting cheated by them from the 4th month of my usage. Not even a single month the service providers(Airtel) had sent me the bill properly and they use to charge me the late payment charges each and every month which i was calling to their customer care and used to get waived off.Now recently i come to know about the discrepency in my bill like repeatedly they have printed the outgoing calls for 3 to 4 times with certain duration which i had reported to the Airtel Customer Care. The CSE who spoke to me had told that this is because of Virus in my Mobile Handset. I am using the preloaded Antivirus handset and that is not at all a reason.. When ever i give a complaint against that the clever CSE's use to register the complaint as Customer Bill not recieved and they use to call me on daily basis which was irritating to me. I do have the complete track of my calls and i have been charged at least of 1500/- (One thousand Five Hundred Rs) more than my usage for 3 to 4 months. Previously regarding the same issue the airtel people themselves had given me the 500/- (Five Hundred Rs) of waiver. And now without any prior information or notice to me they have withdrew my services also without giving clarrification to my complaint. So please help me regarding this complaint. I am also ready to raise a complaint against them in the Court of Justice also.

Without my permission Airtel has started sending me Jokes that too on chargable basis I asked Airtel to stop sending jokes. My request was not accepted stating the reason that I have not subscribed for jokes.This has resulted in wasting my hours .Airtel email id is also not easily available .It took several hours to write to airtel.Hence I request Airtel to send me ch. of Rs.500000/- for harrassing me for no reason and wasting my time . I request confirmation for action bty Airtel within a day else I am approachong media and consumer court. I have also opted for DND and these unwanted jokes are disturbing me .

    Airtel has billed 9500Rs for GPRS which is not activated on my number [protected] and their collection executives are harassing us to pay the amount they are also randomly calling all the numbers that are dialed from my number and telling them that we have not paid the bill. Using the customer details is an offence as per the agreement signed. We need help on this.
    1. Do not blame yourself. Let them do whatever they want to do and stand in your point
    2. This happens all because of our POOR Government, public don't have right's to speek
    3. We are in the stone age while other country are in Computer age.

    This has happen to me with Reliance BroadBand connection, i tell them do whatever you have to do and i will wait for your action, because i know my rights and i know what i have to do in a timely manner.

    Airtel mobile service provider — Extra / Wrong Billing

    This is with reference to my complained logged with Airtel for wrong mobile phone billing

    I changed my plan in the month of december 2009 from 399 to 249.

    So i should get charged according to the new plan of 249. But they charged me with the previous plan of 399 for the month of january 2010. After lodging a complaint they adjusted my bill.

    Again in february 2010 they charged me according to 399 plan.

    This shows that they have not updated their systems with the customer requirements.

    I have asked them to send me the adjusted bill by today evening. But they did not send it. They just sent me an SMS stating the amount is adjusted.

    This does not solve my problem which i specified when i made the complaint with the call center executive and the mail i wrote to them while logging the complaint.

    Since i am a general public, request to campaign this problem and create awareness among the mobile users, so that many other customers can be saved of their money, which the service provider is using.


    Airtel is taking all complaints from customer for granted and god knows how many crores of customers airtel would have cheated till now to increase income profit.


    Hardly any corporate customer whose bills are reimbursed by the employee would look at his bill to pay, because he is getting reimbursed the whole amount and out of this Airtel is bagging profits and cheating on those customers blindly.


    The company assumption is that the customer is given the adjustment for one bill so airtel can start on cheating from the second bill onwards untill the customer gets to see the amount difference again. And if caught say sorry and adjust the amount.

    On the 09th of March 2010 i had plcaed a request with your call centre[protected]&[protected] regarding changing my bill plan to your freedom plan and actvating the Unlimited SMS pack for both my nuumbers([protected],[protected]).Your executive confirmed to me that she was taking the requests for subsequnet change of plan.
    However on recipt of the bills i had got an amount quite high and dispropotionate to my usage. Onmy enquiry with your call centre and after several call transfers my call wastransfered to one Assistant manager by name Mr.Arun Prakash.
    He informed me that my request for the freedom plan and unlimited SMS was executed and reversed as both the plans could not be clubbed.
    He also told me that though i was on the freedom plan all my SMS's were being charged as there was no topping opted for.
    This is simply outrageous as you first commit something that is wrong and then reverse it on your own without intimating the customer as to what you want.
    My numbers have been charged on all sms's sent.
    I Iimmediately wanted a reversal to the older planor be given what was promised to me.
    Mr Arun Prakash([protected]) promised to give me what was commited as ibelonged to a CUG which belongs to my old employer.This conversation happenedin the morrning.
    By the time i reached office i got a confirmation call on the activation of freedom planbut not the SMS pack.
    I thenwent to you Beasant nagar show room and met Mr.Nithyananda and he helped me get a better plan from what ihad.
    I however have been charged for all my SMS's in my previous plan and want the same to be reversed as its not my fault .
    I had subsequently called and checked on the status of my charges reversal for which the Call centre executive erroneously changed the bill paln instead of reversal.
    Though that mistake has been rectified the reversal as such has not happened.
    Kindly note the call centre executive had had commited to the change of plan and had reversed the same without notifying me.Besides who gives you the authority to change my plan without my request.
    Beyond everything a senior official in the company has given me (Mr.Arun Prakash) had commited on the reversal and has ever since been missing.However the presence of such a person in the organisation has been validated time and again by call centre executives.
    I am a customer of yours for the last 6 years.Please reverse the charges or am taking up the matter with consumer court.

    I have a post paid connection of Airtel. Recently Airtel have launched a offer for unlimited Mobile internet at Rs. 98/month. In which they have also mentioned with ** marks that it will be on "Fair usuage Policy. You can browse upto 2 GB per month". so i activated this service on my number. But as i saw my current bill, they have charged me about Rs.804 for GPRS usuage. When i contacted customer care they told me that my unlimited internet service is active but i have done internet access throug Airtel live and not through WAP browsing. This offer is valid only on WAP browsing. As in my mobile i have an icon of internet through which i was using the services, now the GPRS settings are always sent by the service provider and they have set AIRTEL LIVE as the default gateway for internet browsing, which i didn't know and neither is being informed by the service provider. And now the customer care executive is telling me that they can give me Rs. 160 discount as goodwill. Kindly Suggest what should i do.

    Airtel — migration to wrong billing plan

    Myself Amit Sikka.My complaint is regarding Airtel broadband services as they wrongly changed my tarriff plan and sent a huge bill. My plan was for unlimited download and they changed it to limited download.

    I am using airtel broadband dsl connection for past
    one year. Every month I receive a bill of 992 rs. Last month I switched
    my plan to Impatience 899 unlimited plan. Airtel executive instead changed
    my plan to Impatience 899 limited plan . I was called once for
    confirmation of plan change where in that call I was clearly told my new
    plan would be unlimited plan . I myself clarified more than once that
    plan is unlimited. Now suddenly I receive this month bill as 5415 Rs.
    Now I am being told that my plan is actually limited plan.
    I called up airtel customer care and requested them to correct this
    mistake and show me any proof that I asked for limited plan but they are
    unable to do so. I wrote them multiple times but everytime is receive same automated respose.
    You can study my usage of past one year. My download
    requirement is huge so it will never be logical for me to go for limited
    plan .

    I was overseas in Tajikistan from June 4, 2010 to June 12, 2010 (find attached scanned copy of my boarding pass) even after I came back to Bangalore on the 12th of June I was getting messages indicating that my phone was still on roaming.

    Therefore on 16th June 2010, I went to the Bannerghatta Road Airtel Office and through their hotline talked to one NEVEEN at 4.10 PM and informed him that though I am back in India my phone is still connected to roaming facility. Naveen assured me that the complaint has been taken and suiatable action will be taken.

    I got a bill for Rs 27000=00 which I am yet to pay as the phone is shockingly still on roaming connection.

    On 28th July 2010, I got a call from [protected], the lady informed me that my dues are around Rs 40000. When I enquired as to how they have arrived at the figure, they asked me if I was still overseas. I had to tell them that I am back in India from June 12th onwards. Then they asked me, believe it or not, if I had also gone to Babylon. I was also told that I need to pay up the Rs 40000/= or my phone will be disconnected.

    Please tell the action I need to take on the service porovider.

On receiving of bill I again lodged a complaint in customer care whose reference no. is 34656430 and I was assured from Airtel that the mistake in bill will rectify soon. but still my bill is according to per minute plan that Airtel migrate me to a wrong plan. I again lodged a complaint for the same whose reference no is 34984764 Again I lodged a complaint under reference no. 35019552 on dt. 13.07.2010 for the same but still no solution has been provided to me.     airtel has made a fine art of thrusting unasked for services on unsuspecting customers specially so if the customer is a prepaid service seeker.what with so many ad SMS bombarding us most o[censored]s ignore the insiduos and quiet SMS sent by airtel confirming your request for services such as airtel movie,tunes download etc and charging the customer for it.my mobile no [protected] [prepaid]was flooded with such msgs and i was being qeitly fleeced[bled if i may use the term and i am reminded of leeches whih suck your blood without your being aware of it.].usually the msg also contains method o[censored]nsubscribing but these methods mostly do not work ending up in deadended IVRS interactions.i wonder why the market leader has to resort to such cheap tricks and am snaguine this must be the handiwork of some overzealous middle rung revenue target achievers.i hope mr sunil bharti takes note of this irritating habit and addresses the issue or an otherwise good mobile service will suffer irreversible damage.

    AIRTEL PREPAID data usage charged — CHARGED for DATA BROWSING without NOTICE

    Today date - 15th Jan 2011, I have charged 60INR for data services. I didnt make any request for this, or even I didnt get any confirmation from them that should I activate or want to use this service. THey said SMS had been sent 3 days back but I had never received any SMS from them.

    This is really frustrating and after talking to AIRTEL CUSTEMER care they simply said they cant refund it and I had to use this service.

    It is really embaressing for me. I am really irritated now. I am not sure if any thing can be done for this.

    My simple question is while activating some service or to contact your customer cares you are asking to press 1000 numbers.. press 1 do this.. press 2 do that. While activating such service is it not fare to ask you GUYS to just send an SMS and active things only upon confirmation.

    I had made a complaint 43062334 regarding wrong generation of bills for the past 5 years which I discovered incidently last month. The airtel customer care is useless and they don't have common sense to understand the real issue and keep on responding with scrap mails and useless calls. The sample of some of the mails is given below and I am really frustrated by the customer care executives.

    They just waste your time (in hours) and at last when you try to make them understand the problem, they just disconnect the line.

    Would you take some time off and resolve this issue.

    I AM FED UP OF AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE WITH THE KIND OF RESOLUTION THEY ARE PROVIDING. THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW SOME COMMON SENSE IN GIVING THE RESOLUTION.

    Go through the following mail and the kind of response Mr. Kiran has given in the following mail which is absolutely out of track and no where resolved my issue - stated very clearly in my mail and almost discussed with 4 floor supervisors who are good for nothing but only wasting my time.

    Today morning at 9:12 am I received a call from confirmation deptt. ([protected]) saying that the issue has been resolved. After wasting my 30 mins the call was transferred to floor supervisor who wasted almost another 30 minutes insisting that the issue has been resolved in the current bill. He was very arrogant and was not willing to accept the issue. At last I somehow managed to explain him all the calculations in some of the older bills.After that he told that he want to confirm the calculations and kept me on hold and then disconnected the line.

    You have to correct all the previous bills and I need a response from you by EOD today.

    I would like to highlight that I haven't got any call on my mobile(as mentioned by you in the mail) and I have't agreed to any refund of Rs 50. As far as refund of Rs 50 is concerned I was aware of that before shooting the below mails to you and there was a purpose behind that(issuse not being resolved by customer care).

    I only got one call from area manager and another complaint has been logged[protected] which would be resolved by 4th of March.

    I am tired of calling the customer care number and getting the call
    escalated to floor supervisors but still no resolution.



    I have raised an issue of improper billing being done for the following

    The calls under the category Intra-circle are not being considered as
    part of free usage. I have done a random check of previous bills as well
    and there is a problem in all the bills.



    Shockingly, it seems that there would be problem in the bills which
    would have been generated for the past few years.



    Customer care people have understood the problem but are refusing to
    correct the old bills. Nobody has called me and discussed the issue even
    after assuring that the problem would be resolved within 24 hrs.



    It is quite shameful for such a big company to generate wrong bills and
    then refuse to correct them!!



    Resolve this issue ASAP and correct all the old bills of past 5 years
    and credit the extra amount charged along with the interest.

    MY LAST BILL OF MY MOBILE NO [protected] IS WRONG. NORMALY RS[protected]. BUT THIS TIME IT IS MORE THEN RS. 10000
    I have a landline with Airtel[protected]. Account number 13490357.
    I had disconnected this in January (around 25th January) due to wrong
    billing plan migration. This was acknowledged by Airtel call center,
    including having about 10 calls from the retention team and 2 visits
    home.
    given my history of bad; pathetic experiences with Airtel - I very
    clearly told all that I am not going to reconsider this and I asked
    them to cancel and take the instruments back (modem + device)

    neither have these been collected to date; and what is worst is Airtel
    has actually sent me a rental bill for the last month!! amazing pathetic the
    service is.

    I have taken a scheme with Airtel wherein the broadband downloading is free between 9 pm and 8 am. In their bill dt 3 Ot 2010, they had charged me erroneously for the night downloading period. It was protested by me and they had apologised and informed me the correct bill amount. The mistake was repeated again, the very next month. In spite of my protest, they did not refund the excess amount collected from me through ECS, and I had to wait for one more month to adjust the excess amount collected.

    The bill dated 3 Mar 2011 was wrong again and this time 73 out of 100 entries were wrong and I was charged four times my average monthly bill amount. Repeated complaint from me from 12 Mar till now (1 April) through phone calls & e mails have gone in vain. Three days back I received a mail curtly stating that there was nothing wrong in their billing, without answering any of my points.

    On subsequent conversation over phone, I understand that they have not included the night services in the profile of mine, maintained by them. They are yet to clarify as to why an existing service was disrupted and why I was charged for the night usage, nor they have informed me the actual amount to be paid. There is no response beyond "we will call you back" (which they never did) even from their Nodal office and Appellate, to whom I have forwarded all my mail with regard to my complaint

I even though requested them to raise a discount on remaming amount and asked to settle down my account and close it. total excess billing was approx 3000/-.     On 17th April 2011 I subscribed to a 2G internet pack of Rs. 10 which offered me a 100MB o[censored]sage for 1 day. I got the confirmation message at 1:21 p.m. and then I reseted my Internet Usage meter(LOG option) in my mobile to "0" (zero) Then I started using internet. At first I tried to check and I used a few MB's which cutted balance from my main account. But I neglected it. And then till 1:41 I used 20 MB's of data and then I recieved a message that I have 0.00 MB left and Rs. 0.00 left. Please check this.

    I would like to mention that they had just returned me my Rs. 45 in such type of case only and I did went to customer care about it but every time I tried to connect they gave me a message like to know balance call........ and I fell like they're teasing me. My number is [protected].
    i have not received my airtel mobile bill since last eight months. Even though I have submitted my change of address. I am getting exorbitant huge bills every month.     I got your team's call and they told me that they have returned my balance and then I checked my balance but no updates. Also, in my inbox I got a message that you have got Rs. 47 and thank you for subscribing 30 min. pack that I have not subscribed. Just stop making me fool!
    Even though you promised quick resolution, none of your support person yet to call me to resolve the issue. I will be constrained to take strict legal remedies and write to communication minister Kapil Sibal. Either you refund my money or face court action.
    still the issue is pending with you. Nobody called me so far to address my problem since my last complaint. Kindly refund or reimburse my faulty billing without giving me a hard copy bill since last eight months which is against the principle of business.

    I am yet to receive this month Bill, it is totally atrocious lethargic attitude of the AIRTEL management. They have to face the legal tangle unless and until they refund my 8th months bill amount for non-compliance.     : As I was in the process of moving out of the above said rented premises , I made a call to Airtel customer care asking them to disconnect the landline and broadband connection. After repeated calls from me , they kept insisting not to disconnect the line . After trying a lot and expressing discontent I got a Complaint no #741102 from a representative named Ankita and she said that my connection is disabled form March 24 ,2011 onwards .Since then the landline is disconnected and so is the broad band connection. But, I am still getting calls to reinstate the services and I continuously tell them to pick up the land line and broad band instruments, but no one is doing it , not even registering the complaint.     I have been receiving assurance from you time and again no perceptible action at your end. I am one of the esteemed valued first customer of airtel Chennai broadband remember this?
    you have to give the benefit of doubt and non-compliance favouring the customer in this question. One should not take money without giving the bill is an offense and may be construed as bribe. As we are witnessing more and more news from telecom scandle? Kindly reverse the charges for the last 12 months which is tantamount to taking my money through ECS without giving invoices, as per our Income Tax rule prohibit money laundering without showing invoices to the service provider as good as scam .
    till date there is no solution. complaints is on paper, no action taken by airtel management. Let me escalate to consumer court and redress.
    I am a user of airtel mobile services for the past 8 years and broadband services for the past 5 years. this complaint is regarding airtel broadband in one of my offices in hyderabad. We requested for change of address on 4th Nov-10. Airtel people checked the new location and said the services are not available there. I requested for disconnection as we are vacating current premises. On Nov 5th, they de-activated the connection. We moved to new location on 5th Nov 2010.
    However, they continued to generate the bill till Jan-11. During this period we kept complaining about the same. They stopped billing after that but started pestering us for paying the bills of dec-10 and Jan2011. After numerous calls, the legal department (Hyderabad), the technical department and myself had a conference call. The technical department person, after verifying the logs, informed me that they re-activated our account on 8th Nov-2011. Hence the bills were generated. the legal department woman was adamant that ~2500 inr is due and the bill has to be settled.
    My repeated mails/ requests to the service department, ombudsman failed to elicit any response.
    After further discussion, she agreed to settle for 500 inr as final settlement. She asked me to pay the amount to their billing person and later she will send the no dues certificate. Their representative and I paid the amount in April-2011 (Big mistake). With in couple of weeks their legal department from Calcutta called me asking to pay ~2000 or else face legal consequences. Needless to say I was shocked and asked them to go ahead. In third week of jun-11, I got a call from their legal arbitrator/ Delhi saying that they intend to sue me in delhi and explained the costs of visiting/legal expenses would exceed the 1800 so why not pay up. I asked him to go ahead with the process. Then i had a discussion with my lawyer. He said it might cost 6~7000 to defend but my time will be wasted a lot. Also, it seems Airtel is "trying to take revenge" by filing a case in delhi to harass so they might focus on troubling you a lot. Though I was willing to fight for the cause, the costs seem unjustified. Hence as per his advise, talked to the arbitrator and settled the dues .
    While I like their service quality, I realised their behavior borders on intimidation/coercion. I feel like i have paid a bribe to save my time. Hopefully i will find a way to recover this money one way or the other in future. Meanwhile, I have decided to "say no to airtel" for rest of my life. We are moving personal/ business communications other service providers. Better to go to a low service provider rather than over pay to a behemoth whose behavior borders on thuggery. Atleast, i will reduce their revenue by 10000 inr/ month (thats what we pay to airtel for various services)

Your company has resorted to legal black mail by saying that you will file a case in delhi high court, when I have availed your services all along in hyderabad.     airtel telecom service — Not received billed amount

    I migrated my airtel mobile[protected] from postpaid to prepaid. At that time they asked me to pay complete unbilled amount. After generation of my bill the extra amount which i have paid that will get refunded to my account. However i didn't got any amount yet.
    Later i contacted to customer care they told me that i will receive this amount via cheque within 60 days.
    Still i didn't received any cheque. as already 60 days over.
    I don't wanted to continue with the airtel service. wanted to switch to other operator. however still airtel customer care saying that we can not migrate to other service provider within 60 days after migration to prepaid.

    This really sucks ...
    This is with reference to airtel billing account no.[protected] bill no.[protected] mobile no. [protected]. I am using airtel GPRS pack (Rs.98 2 GB pack). Till last month the billing was ok. This month i got a bill of Rs.8185.7 telling me that i have used more than 2GB (2534771 units). I have a counter in mobile. As per my knowledge i have used 1.86GB. In the month of June, I have used 1.97 GB for which the bill shows only 814404 units. I am using the same number for the last 4 years. I have taken 1 more number also from Airtel. But i was not offered any offers. When i applied for portability to reliance they gave me some offers. I didnt accept and they cancelled my portability application.

    Wrong billing happened for me 4 years back when i shifted from prepaid to postpaid and they issued waiver after i proved that i was their mistake.

Last week I received a DD from Airtel for the refund of my deposit which was Rs 6000, from which they have deducted Rs 711 as "outstanding dues". This amounts to fraudulent billing since I closed my account prior to making the final payment. Apparently, others I know have had false bills sent by airtel after closing their account.
    My name is S. B. krishna. I am an Airtel postpaid user with mobile No. [protected]. In my bill for November 2011, Rs.360.00 has been added under the head rent for GPRS from[protected] to[protected]. This has been charged 2 Rs.140.00 per week.

    However, I have not opted for the said service. I received the SMS on[protected] stating that GPRS has been activated and I have to send SMS DEACT 140 to deactivate. I Propmtly sent said SMS on[protected].

    Why did the company inform me immediately after activating the GPRS service? Why GPRS was activated without my knowledge and consent? Why did the company inform me after activating and also deactivating the service? Please note GPRS has been stopped as on[protected] and I received the message of activation only on[protected] i.e. after even the deactivation was also done on[protected].

    My account has been unnecessarily charged by Rs.360.00 besides taxes on the same.

    Please ask the company the correct my bill for November 2011 and send me corrected copy to me and Standard Chartered bank since I am paying the bill amount through my credit card issued by the said bank.

    This is Venkatram Reddy Punnam with mobile number +91 [protected] ( [protected]@yahoo.com ) an Airtel customer for the past 12 years, and I am availing the GPRS since past four years on rental package of Rs. 200 for 1000mb every month and I never exceeded my limit all these years and four months back I have changed my package to with new offer i.e. Rs. 98 rental with 2 GB free. Recently I have received an SMS on[protected] asking me to pay a bill amount of Rs. 7189.59 and when contacted the customer care centre they said that I have used GPRS services worth more than Rs. 28000 and I was been given a discount of Rs 21000 ( with out any request from me and information )and now that I need to pay the bill amount. I was shocked at this as I am sure that I have not used or surfed beyond the limit and I feel this is true sense of cheating form Airtel. I have complained to the Nodal Officer and also the Appelite authority and all the where I am getting the same information and advice to pay the bill as claimed by the Airtel.

    This is not the first time and I also not the first person to get this treatment and recently also I have read about such similar bills in the local news papers and I personally know people and incidents of similar nature and all of them ended up paying the bills which were not really used.

    I request you to take my complaint and do justice to me and also take firm and hard action against those service providers who are cheating the general public money by claiming false bills.

    I am user of airtel & from last 2 months airtel are deducting money from my account for use of GPRS but my gpts pack is active so money should be deducting from gprs pack.     I had migrated from my Airtel Prepaid to Postpaid. It was a plan in which i had to pay Rs. 499 in advance and for 6 months there would be no bill. I was assigned 100 SMS and 3000 sec free every month in this plan. If my usage was more than these free assigned then there would be a bill of 1.2 paise per sec and .50 paise per sms. However the very first bill after 6 days of portability was Rs. 701.32. This bill was from 24/3/12 to 1/4/12. hope this thing gets sorted out fast. I dont know what the problem is.

    I have been using a airtel services for mobile phone for one year now and my monthly bill on an average has been Rs[protected] maximum. Last month while talking to a customer care executive I enquired if I could get a plan for better STD rates and SMSs as my family is from out of town. He suggested a plan for min 499 per month and I asked him what about GPRS as I have a a smart phone and use it for basic mail chacking purposes etc. He told me I could go ahead with the old plan for GPRS as I am used to that. I agree and went ahead.

    This month my bill has come to Rs 8500!!!! I am shocked and have complained and tried to explain this several times to the people at airtel who keep repeating the same thing about "Sorry your new plan is this and thus your charges are more" My usage has not incleased 4 times in a month and now I am being FORCED to pay Rs 7000 extra for a customer care executive's mistake!!!! This is JUST UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I have complained to them several times but they are going on billing me!

    Pls help me as I feel this is just not fair!

    The complain is about non auto Renewal of GPRS pack because of which lots of money got deducted from my Account. I had subscribe to the GPRS pack during month of May 2011, the pack got renewed for 6 months ( no message was sent to me but it used to get renewed). Suddenly during the month of December 2011 it didn't get renewed. Large amounts were getting deducted from my account. When I wrote to customer care they said that there is no undue deduction of amount. On my pestering a consumer executive called and she confirmed that the deductions were on account of GPRS. Again while pursuing the matter with them they confirmed that it was because of a technical glitch from their side that these sums got deducted. Now I told them to return additional sums as the deduction was because of their fault. No replies from them. Wrote to nodal office, they just kept matter pending. Then wrote to appellate , they forwarded the mail to Nodal . Executive from Nodal office then called and tried to settle the case for a sum of Rs. 200/- On my refusal they just kept silent. Wrote again to Apellate, mail again forwarded to Nodal office . Again executive called , had to repeat to her the entire episode , she kept on blaming me that I was late in complaining without realizing that I am constant writing to them for last 3 months. She promised to get back with redress. No news till date of writing this .

    Seems these executives are going to doom Airtel . Management does try to enforce quality control but employees never seem to care.
    Airtel is loosing its name, it was known for its services & nowdays it i spathatic.

    I have airtel mobile with 3G connection & they have given me bill in april 2012 which is showing wrong billing.

    In my bill their are two data usags shown at same instance of time.

    Have been writting numerous mail to Airtel customer care applet RJ but their is no response since past 2 months.

    The company is totally not supporting in resolving customer issues.

    Many time they say that my no is not reachable.

    Have provided my alternate no [protected] to them but still their is no response.

    Hoping the company will help to resolve the issue on priority.

        Hi,

        This is Manish from Bangalore. I had made a complain with Airtel DTH customer care under the reference no.20795498 on 14th July. The issue is regarding no signal in TV.
        I also got few calls from Airtel customer care and they promised it to be resolved on 15th and then 17th and again on 18th July, but today is 19th July and yet no one has come to check. They also gave me the number of the person visiting my place, but he came out to be the Manager (Rajesh - [protected]) of service centre. He again gave me the number of the supervisor (Deepak - [protected]) who is supposed to assign the task to his team, but he talks as if he is my Manager and cuts the calls without even responding completely. And again I keep getting calls from Airtel asking if the issue is resolved, and they again promise that it will be resolved by today/tomorrow.

        And best of all happens when I get a call from the engineer and he says that I will not come ([protected] - didn't tell his name). A big LOL

        Not sure who is responsible for the delay. But it seems AIRTEL has started following the steps of our government organizations by becoming non responsive.

        It makes my laugh at the way this company make promises which does not seem to come into reality.

Whenever I call customer care, instead of getting to the solution they provide alternative ways, and as the device is taking time, they don't even bother to come down to provide a service for the same.

        Last week the device got completely switched off and now the customer care is not even bothered to provide a solution, but they are asking back that whether you will be paying us for replacement or not, instead of sending an engineer first.
        None of their engineer arrived since four days of complaint being lodged and when I tried contacting the number they provided, people there responded as if they are paying us for using their services.

        None of the nodal officer is responding on mail, or on phone. Customer care is like "" and Airtel is like " bag" with every department full unqualified people.

            We bought an Airtel 4G connection last month (sim no. [protected]). The connection was used from 14 july 2012 only and has not been functional at all. Despte a promised speed of 76 MPBS, we have NEVER received more than 0.13 MPBS which is pitiable. Despite numerous reminders and complaints (complaint no. 44734005 dated 15 july) the situation remains unchanged. Moreover the customer service is pathetic with little response even on customer initiated calls. Would definitley wish to return this exorbitantly priced mistake and advise everyone to stay away till Airtel actually knows what is is doing.

I download a game of 35 mb after download finish i off data and get 115 mb o[censored]se data balance pop window. Its not only do one time its always act . Only search in play store in my app. no download i decrease 35 mb data this all is totally to airtel.i use also relaince 3g service in my dual sim phone i download a application from use of relaince 3g service to check airtel fraud then i download same application from airtel 3g application data is 45mb i get 46mb deduction from relaince and i shocked when see 78mb deduction from airtel. When call to airtel customer service the agent says sir yeh 3g service hai es may aisey hi hota hai. I want to a answer from airtel is that in 3g service data is double use in download a application actually data. Very shame on airtel to do fraud to his 8 years old customers

                  Airtel 3G wrong deduction from main balance. My phone # is [protected]. I lost about 300-400 rupees because of wrong activites of Airtel. They are not ready to acknowledge this and give me back my money.

                  1. I activated 3G with 198 rupees 500 MB valid for 1 month, my problems started after this. This is around 27th May.
                  2. First they deducted about 20 rupees, saying that I activated services. I called call center and informed that I have not activated any services and demanded my money back they agreed to look but nothing happened.
                  3. Then money was continuously deducted whenever I used 3G, when I called call center I have got wierd replies. I was told that I will get a call back within 24hours, when I did not receive the call. I called the call center couple of days back, to my astonishment the call center executive told me that my 500 MB expired with in three days around 30th May.
                  4. I told the call center executive, one floor leader, that I hardly used internet and its impossible for 500 mb to get over within 3 days. I also got messages perioducally and on the final validity date I had about 200-300 MB left in by balance. He is not ready to acknowldge and told me they can not do any thing. I asked them proof for this, they told me to do whatever I want but they were not ready to aknowledge that money was wrongly deducted.
                  5. I was also told that 45 rupees were deducted, because I used some alert service and I had sent about 15 SMS. I have never send any SMS, and my phone also does not have this information. When I told Airtel call center about this, they told they can not do anything and asked me to do whatever I can.


                  I demand all the money I lost because of deducting balance without my knowledge and acceptance and in a wrong way. Pls also let me know the avenues to resolve this issue.

                    The Internet connection with IP TV has been established by Airtel on last week of May.
                    The company promised to visit of concern persons of the company while we would have any type of problem in connection.
                    But after taking the connection neither Internet nor IPTV is working properly.
                    I have been calling many times for last one months.This made me mentally upset.This service has effected my work and made a big economic loss.
                    So take an effective action against the service provider so that they wouldn't be able to do so with any other customer.

                    Its a very pathetic and absolutely disappointing service provided by Airtel regarding rectification of services.For the whole story you can read the other sections of this email.

                    I was told that my complaint would be addressed by 9:00AM 25th March the complaint no 30471180.I was contacted by your Engineer My. Neeraj Shrivastav at around 5 pm, which is well beyond the stipulated time of 9 AM only to inform me that its a back end problem, and so he wont come and atleast take a look at the problem.This backend problem apparently has been going on since 21st March, What I seriously cant get my head around is your customers service people arent able to inform me this when I call them in the first place, all they provide are empty assurance of the problem being rectified.

But, when I have recharged with Rs. 5, 500 I got talktime Rs. 6.900.00 and validity of 60days and again I talked withe customer care they disagreed about the plan and they told me that you will only get validity of 60days and when I told them to register the complain they told me there is nothing to register. Till today 17th May 2009 when I send s SMS "SHOW 5500 to 59222" the reply is same as talktime 6900 and validity of 365days. I think the Airtel is fooling to It's customers and makeing its customers .

                        I made a recharge on my Airtel number for a denomination of Rs.690/- for which i got no balance credited to my A/C.After contacting the customer care ,they said that you don't get any balance for this denomination, Just the call rates get reduced to .50p/ 1 re per minute for local and std respectively .
                        My a/c is already recharged with Rs 78 voucher for which my call rates are 1/2 paise per sec . There is no point that someone whose call rates are already so low would recharge with Rs 690 voucher and increase his call rates. This is a pure case of forging and cheating a customer.
                        The customer care people were unable to give any positive feedback as well as i have wrote a mail to the nodal officer to which it's been over 48 hours and i have not received any response till date .
                        Therefore, i request you to look into the matter as soon as possible and resolve the issue at the earliest possible.

                        I am a retailer of your esteemed company at udaipur with mobile number [protected]

                        I did recharge of Rs.345/- to one of the customers in the view of knowing that there is a full talktime on it without any boundation. But when i did recharge, after 1 day i came to know that the balance was not added to the main balance. the balance was credited in the account of *123*6#.

                        When i enquired about it after the enquiry from the customer, i came to know that this amount is to be finished within a month. I suffered a loss due to this poor information system of this company.

                        When i discussed in details with my wholesaler, he also told that they are also unaware of this scheme. Nothing can be done as they also came to know after the registration of such type of complaints.

                        They tried to convince that we should check our sms's of the schemes regularly.

                        i put a bet sir your head will also start aching by getting enormous amount of repeated sms on the mobile.

                        You just put your foot in the shoes of retailers for one day and feel the ache and irritation of repeated offers on sms's.

                        I bet for sure that you will also delete the message without reading because of the following reasons:

                        1. retailer is not only selling your recharges but also doing allied works.
                        2. most of the retailers have the mobiles of low sms storage capacity.
                        3. retailers have other works also then to read sms regularly and daily.
                        4. most of the retailers dont know to read english, they just get the information from the wholesalers.


                        In my case i suffered a loss of Rs.300 in the recharge of 345.
                        To whom should i blame you decide where is a loop hole for this poor information system.

                        Sir Rs.300/- doesn't matter you but matters us because we have to do the recharge of Rs.10000/-. which means 2 months without profit for me.

                        Now the ball is in your court for the decision. Waiting for reply with some concrete decision.

                        Also let me know of whether this amount can be reversed or not.

                        Hi,

                        I normally use the booster pack Rs.195 which enables me to call other airtel numbers at 10paise per minute and along with that use a sms pack of Rs26.

                        Last week i got a sms from airtel saying sms pack tariffs has been revised due to TRAI guidelines of only 100 free sms per day and to call 171327 for further information about the new tarrifs. As per the information from the toll free number I selected a sms pack of Rs.119. And the automated message informed the pack is for sms and there was no information about change in call costs.

                        But after i recharged for Rs.119 sms pack, i am getting charged 30 paise per minute for airtel to airtel calls. When i called airtel customer care, I was told 119 is a combo pack for sms and calls and I should have called them and checked before recharging. I did call 171327 before as per the sms received but there was no info about combo pack. I have recharged for 195 only 5 days before and that money is absolutely wasted now since they said they cannot cancel the 119 plan or give refund. And moreover, wen i asked to speak to supervisor, I was put on hold for long time and hung up on. So after 15 minutes of wait, I ended up with nothing. I was told they will raise a complaint but I am sure it was not done since I did not receive any reference number after my call. Also when I asked for information about MNP they were not ready to give any information about it.

                        It is not my fault that there was no complete information provided by airtel about their tariffs and now I have to recharge for 195 again to get 10 paise plan which is going to cause more losses to me.

                        Can someone help me with this???

In Faridabad, i used to get Rs.179.32 as talktime, but when i recharged in Orissa, i got only Rs.1 as talktime. Where did the rest balance go? please advice.

                        I have recharged yesterday for Rs. 20/-. After I recharged I got msg my account balance is only Rs. 1/- My amount has been added to my special account. But this is of no use as I am unable to make calls or send messages. My Transaction Id is[protected] recharged on 3/6/2011 at 8.30 p.m (Recharge for Rs. 20/-)

                        Please do look into this matter as airtel now a days giving poor service to customers.

                        I have recharged for Rs.333 for my airtel mobile numbers [protected] and [protected] on Nov-2nd 2011. My outgoing services got barred since there was no outgoing from these numbers for 5 months. I went to my native for my delivery. But, incoming was there in theses numbers. After recharging on Nov-2nd,my services got barred on 4th november. when i contacted customer care, they said that i will not get the same number again. They did not ensure me that i will get my money back. I got Rs.290 and Rs.270 balance in my mobile. Both these numbers have validity till oct-2012. Please help in getting my money back.I have attached the screen shots of recharge details here.

                        I have a pre-paid connection and the contact number is [protected]. I got a message on Apr 6 from Airtel stating that get Full talk time of Rs 50 on recharge. Rs 42.5 instantly and rest 7.50 within 48 hours. I recharged my mobile on Apr 6 however I am still waiting for the remaining amount. I called Customer care for which I was charged Paise 50 for 3 minutes but my issue got unresolved. Agent hung up the call without listening the complete issue. Next day I called in again and I had a word with Jagdeep and he insured me that I will soon get the full amount but I did not get yet.

                        After the call I got the survey message. Is this because the call went fine. I did not get the survey when I had word before with the agent who hung up. I believe this is because the agent was sure that he will get Dsat.

                        I switched from Idea to Airtel assuming that I will get the far better service than any other operator. I think, I was wrong.

                        I got my mobile recharged from a shop (without recharge card). I did get a message showing that my mobile is recharged but when I tried activating bbm on my mobile phone the balance was insufficient even after recharge which was Rs.250/- and the amount of the BBM monthly was Rs.129/-. It was showing the same amount I had before recharging it which was Rs39/- I didn't hav any pending payment otherwise it wouldn't have shown 39 rupees also. May I know where is my money going without letting me know?

                        I have recharged for 155 rs through internet on company site for benefit of 1 gb internet data as it was specified during recharge. but company gave me benifit of 525mb instead of 1gb data. when i spoke to customer care they told they will look into matter as the rates are revised but on internet it has not been revised during recharge.                           I am using AIRTEL 3G Datacard since 3 months . Suddenly it has stopped , providing 3G access to my datacard . The data is charged in the 3G package but giving access in 2G . I have also registered complaint to AIRTEL , there is no reply from them . I have tried through customer care those people skipping by saying that we dont belongs to that department.It is also charging money to take a complaint.I have also been to the Airtel service centre located at chrompet even though the problem is not solved.

                              Hello,

                              I have a Airtel Prepaid number. I want to PORT out my number from AIRTEL to VODAFONE due to network problem.I had given a request for PORTING my number to Vodafone at Vodafone store with proper documents and ID proof's. They said that my number will be PORTED within 7 days. I got the new SIM also and it will get activated as soon as AIRTEL discontinues the services from there side, as said by the VODAFONE Store staff.

                              It's been 10 days now that my number has not yet PORTED to VODAFONE, every time I call AIRTEL Customer Care, to know my Status of Porting they say that the request is under process or sometimes they say that it has been cancelled by me which is NOT true. I got a call from Airtel team, they were asking me the reason of porting out. I said that i am facing so much of network issue that's why i want to my number. They said that we'll sort out the problem as soon as they can and asked me to cancel the PORTING request. I said i'll cancel the request If and only if they can do something with the 7days time which i have got from VODAFONE to port out my number. The representative replied that he'll look into the concern and will try to resolve the problem.

                              Yesterday, when i again called up customer care, that time they said that i have cancelled the complain from my side which i have not. Everytime i call the customer care i am hearing a new excuse from their side. Some say that there is NO DATA regarding porting, some say my number will get ported out soon, some says that I have cancelled the request from my side.

                              I have registered a complain with AIRTEL regarding the clarification with this issue. They registered my complain with complain number: CMPRO[protected] and assured me that i'll get a call back from there side by 18th July 2012. But still i have not received any call back from them.
                              I am very much unhappy with their services at this point of time. Airtel doesn't know how to treat their customers.


                              Kindly look into this matter and help me to get out of this.

                              Airtel — very delayed sorting out of complaint

                              for the last 15 days my internet connection and the landline both are giving problems and the complaints have been lodged in the airtel customer care centre for 4-5 times but the response is not satisfactory. They fix the landline but internet connection is still not working. I have to bear losses due to this in both business and my personal life so i want the company to be dealt about it as it has not been the first time when it happened and they should give rebate for these days on the bill.

                                I have not had internet at my place since Jul 14, 2012. I had complained earlier that landline + internet is not working (req no[protected]. This req no was open until yesterday - someone came to my apartment on 16th July, ran a check with his modem and said the problem will be solved by tonight. I still do not have internet at my place.

                                From that day I have been calling Airtel everyday and they say the same thing again and again. They say someone will call me by 9 am the next day and the problem will be solved. That never happens! Today, when I called customer care in the morning, they said, the problem has not been solved since the complaint was in the 'landline' category, so he registered another complaint (req no.[protected]. He said I will get a call at 3 pm today regarding this - that did not happen! I called again: this time the person said, I will get a call by 5 pm regarding this...it is past 5 pm and I have got no call. This only shows how incompetent, inefficient and useles people are at airtel customer care are!

                                Can you tell what is going on here? I want this problem solved as soon as possible. At least have the courtesy to let me know what the status of the problem is!

                                IF YOU DO NOT SOLVE THIS PROBLEM BY END OF THE DAY TODAY- OF COURSE I WILL CANCEL MY AIRTEL CONNECTION. BUT I WILL ALSO GO TO THE PRESS REGARDING THIS AND REGISTER A CASE IN THE CUSTOMER COURT AND TAKE LEGAL ACTION!

After Disconnecting phone i am getting so many calls from Airtel to reactivate number again. But now i am getting call for outstanding bill of Rs 540.Please Stop this Calls as soon as possible. I dont have problem to pay rs 540 but it is not fair. And please arrange call back for me and provide one agreement (Slip) which i can show in future . And Airtel please maintain your Data Base care fully

                                    2 days job takes 2 months to accomplish and still not done...

                                    Airtel is in the bad company of dealer network. A franchisee ( cold calling company with few members ) called ( 50-60 times ) me to migrate pre paid to post paid connection. Name "Connecting Group" , location Banashankari 3rd Stage, A person comes to collect the application form, fills 50% , collected Rs 600/ for 2 SIM migrations. After 2 weeks , they say, photo is not proper, After 2 more weeks, the application is submitted to Airtel.

                                    After 4 weeks, when I loose patience , somehow the airtel verification guy from another company called Tangent lands up .
                                    I am surprised to see the application form

                                    He has my and my wife's application , which has different details and photos on its cover. I again give him 2 more photos, since the photos attached belong to some other person.

                                    Finally get sms from airtel, your application is rejected. In the process which should take 48 hrs, I loose 45 days. After which decide to drop the idea of migration. Meanwhile, my money is not refunded. I followup, every time I call, there is a different name to same person who takes the call.

                                    The lady's voice will be same, the name can be Anita, Swaroopa , sometime after seeing the caller id, a man by name Shashidhar will come.

                                    Anyway... this blog is to make sure that 'no one' deals with the company called Connecting group and email id "[protected]@gmail.com" ...

                                    Airtel by keeping such franchisee's will loose customers and money to reduce their business..

                                    Hope all others take caution.

                                      A special offer for my mob no [protected] on dialing *121*1*3# has been recd that on recharding of Rs 180/-, a special offr of Rs 190/- talktime, get 157.20 instantly and extra Rs 32.80 to be given within 48 hours. I recharged my Mob no[protected] of Rs 180/- on 13 July 2012 at 07:29 PM. But till date after lapsed 72 hrs, I have not given extra talktime of Rs 32.80 evenafter repeated requested to customer care.
                                      I am sending repeated request to Airtel customer care for rebat be balance amount of talk time of Rs 32.80 but only negative replies recd. Moreover, on dialing customer care 198 and 121 from mobile phone customercare adhikari says mostly repeated lagauge that at present system is not working and I can not give you information and you will talk after two hours. After two hours we talk customercare then other customercare adhikari says same repeated lagauge. Moreover from customercare we have recd reply from your customercare as under :-

                                      Airtel — No Extra Talktime Given After Recharge

                                      Airtel Is the Bigest liar Cell phone Service Provider. I Recive SMS From the ........ Airtel , that recharge with Rs.150 You can get Rs125 Normal Talktime & Rs.50 Free Airtel to Airtel Talktime within 48 Hrs. After 48 Hrs. there is no extra talktime added in my account, After that I Had call to Customer Executive at least 7 times but after every call they beg me time of 24 hrs. to provide meExtra Talktime, after all this i talk with there Supervisors 2 times both times they request me for wait 48 Hrs, after all still i am not getting My Extra taalktime & Even also they had stop to provide me customer Care Service , Please Somebody help me to Fight Against this Liar Cell phone service provider..........Airtel

                                      Even after repeated requested to customer care adhikari etc I have not recd my balance talk time of Rs 32, 80 and company intimating me that action will be taken within 24 hrs but till date no action have been taken by company.

                                        Hello sir,
                                        Eventhough i refrained myself a lot for writing this email, but i m really very shocked and disappointed by seeing how sales guys are cheating the end customer like us.
                                        i called up at customer care for addon dth connection on 8th july 2012, i talked with guy called mohd sameer, and i did a payment then and there at same time via credit card, he told me that installation will be done in 24 or 48 hrs max as per sla.
                                        First of all i didnt got installation till date and i called everyday at customer care to followup politely and they always gave me false promises and this guy sameer is never ready to speak back to me as he knows he is cheating and not giving me exact status.
                                        i also working as senior position with mnc, there are times when situation is out of control but atleast these guys should make us aware about exact scenario rather that making fake promises.
