Dear Sir,
This is regarding the complaint against Airtel, from whom I have bought a SIM in the month of July '2012. My Prepaid no is [protected] & [protected].
As per my original offer, call charges are 30p (1p/2s) for local calls & 60 p for ISD calls (1p/s). But they are charging more than what was offered to me.
When I came to know the problem, I contacted the Airtel customer care. They accepted that there is some technical fault & assured me that it will be solved by 25th of August. My complaint no was CWRCH[protected]. I didn't receive any phone from them, but I received a SMS, mentioning that my problem has been solved.
But they are still charging more than 1 rupee/min for STD (Landline/Mobile) calls & for local also they are charging more.
On 31st August night also, I called them. But it was such a long route to find the customer care representative .Also it is chargeable 50p for 3 min. I was able to contact customer care after no of tries & it took almost 20 minutes to reach there. But that guy after a sometime put me on hold & then disconnected the phone.
So much frustrating experience it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE WAY, HOW AIRTEL IS SHOWING PROFITS.....BY FRAUDING & LOOTING THE CUSTOMERS......
Please help me to solve the problem & I want the full refund, which they are charging for their mistake & I need full money for customer care charges also.

Airtel — wrong call charges charged

i m using a airtel no [protected] for d last 3 yrs...this month m call charges r charged to a no many times which i didnt call...i called up d cust care.they took m complain...i got a call frm billing dept.frm.rina...i told her to call m later as i was busy ..bt she didnt call m...i only spoke wid her 4 few mins...bt d prob was nt solved...nw m biling date is near.what sud i do?

    I have bored to airtel searvice to I have change my searvice providers I was sent msg Port [protected] to 1900 and airtel is not provide me unique porting ID , I have a call many time airtel costmor care 121 & 198 but care is disconect my call and avoid me. I have try other airtel number but no reply my qwery? Airtel not provide porting nummber pls help me..

      SO U HELP AND MY DEDUCTED BALANCE RETURN ON MY AIRTEL NUMBER

      AirTel — Deduction of balance without Cause

      Dear sir,
      This is really feeling bad that i am complaining for airtel services first time as i am a airtel customer from past 7 years and i never had any problem with it but last two days gave me a lot of panic with the same airtel telecom services. my self is anup kumar mandal and i had a no."[protected]". the causes are as follows:
      1) I got an SMS from AD-54321 saying "Thanks for downloading java game, and you are charged 50/-",
      What I wonder is, I never downloded any game from the site called Airtel Live. its really a robbery from my account balance.
      2) I got one more SMS saying "Thanks for downloading hangama gclub.., and you are charged 99/-". I do know what this is and why this has got activated for me. Also there was nothing related got downloaded to my mobile either.
      i had also complaint to the customer care and interacted with one named Laxmi. and he told me that this is only deduted for downloadind games. that reply is also not satisfactory. the customer care request reference no is CBDOV[protected].

      please do something to get my balance back

        I have applied for a new connection of Braodband & Telephone Services on dated 01/08/2012 through Airtel office (bill no. 887), SAF No. 30418862 & paid Rs. 250/- against the connection to Sales Ex. Ashish [protected].

        As they have told that connection would take 3 - 4 days. I have waited for the time and following day by day calling in given nos. and visited office. As I have talked with Zabed [protected] many times, always replying it will take 1 day more, there is cable fault etc.....
        Received call on 15th Aug. from Mr. Ramakant Singh, Nodal Officer [protected] stating there is cable fault/ cable not fixed. So, it can’t be processed for the next 2 - 3 months. I may apply after the said months only. You may take refund of Rs. 250/-.

        Received another call on 17th Aug. from Nodal Team, [protected] stating same case. So, it is not possible to give the connection. Hence, You may take refund of Rs. 250/-. If Airtel can’t give the service, they have not offer to fool / harass the public.

        I am asking that if there was no cable ... for the Connection, they have to call back by given date / time of 4 days. Why they have replied me that the cable connection has been done you may get it within 1 day ( said after 1 week). I had asked to purchase the Instrument set with the Sales Representative.

        What would be, I have purchased one Telephone set & one Wi Fi set for the Broadband Connection, in which I have spent of Rs. 2350/- for the same. What I will do with the instruments. I am not expecting this type of solution / service with Bharti Airtel Ltd. This type of service is to harass to the Customer.
        This is for your information & necessary action please.

          • I have Airtel Corporate Connection taken in the month of July 2012 the credit limit for which was fixed at Rs. 1000.
          •As per my understanding , a postpaid customer shouldn’t be allowed to overshoot or overspend beyond the agreeable limit, i.e. the credit limit.
          •To my utter surprise, I suddenly find my unbilled amount shoot up from Rs 846.10 on 14th August to Rs 3408.60 on 16th August 2012(an almost quadruple increase!!).
          •I have then found this growing continuously to above Rs 4000 like I am being benefitted by some Interest on my Investment.
          •My outgoing facility was then barred on 19th August 2012 finally and subsequently I receive a call from the customer payment section that I have to make a payment for a minimum of Rs 2100 before I could use the facilities of Airtel again.
          •On speaking to the Call Center Executive, I was mad to understand that Airtel calculates all the charges as per regular benefits and then applies for any of the special benefits availed by the customer like free calls/internet charges while the final bill is being generated at the end of the customer’s billing cycle.
          •In my case, as I had not availed any such special packs, so I am pretty sure I would end up shelling all these unnecessary extra money just because of the erratic way in which Airtel calculates the bills.
          •The agony which has been created due to the disruptive/discontinuance of necessary facilities has caused great pains to me.
          •The final bill generated on 31st August 2012 was of Rs 4669.69.

          Airtel — Billing irregularities

          I am having to make calls to Zambia In Africa a lot. I'm concerned about the billing rate of the calls I am making becasuse the figures don't seem to be making logical sense.

          I have received calls to pay my bill when in actual fact I have paid a bill. There is seems to be a problem with the way Airtel is tracking down my payments.

          Could I please have a regular update of the payments I make and some clarity of how IST calls are billed.f42c

          Airtel — Irregularities in charges

          I have an Airtel Prepaid connection . the cell number is [protected] ..
          Three days back I received a text that 'your std call rates have been reduced to 30p/min at no additional cost for a period of 30 days' .. I didn't ask for any packs, and airtel activated it on their own.. but suddenly after 3 days i.e from today, they are charging at the same rate i.e 1.2p/min. I called the customer care executives but my phone was never picked up and I'm even charged 50p for the calls which they never receive ..
          Kindly look into the matter or else I'll have to shift to another service provider because of this irregularities and UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR ..

              I want to complain against the wrong call rates , which are charged on my number & for this i called your customer care nos about 5-6 times,but they are not giving me the correct information regarding the call rate.they are telling different things at different call.Is this airtel services are meant for you charge wrong call rates and provide me with different silly excuses about my tariff and call rate.

                I have been a post paid user of Airtel mobile service provider, my number being [protected]. Recently I submitted request from post paid to prepaid service on 25/Aug.2012, at their Lokhandwala, Andheri west customer care outlet. I cleared my dues, filled form and submitted photo and residential proof.
                After a lot of struggle and revisit to the Gallery, my service resumed after more than 48 hrs.

                The gallery is situated far away from my house and being a working woman, I dont have time to visit them time and again.

                The reason I wish to complain is that inspite of submitting all documents they are telling me to visit the Gallery again to resubmit the papers. I presume, they have not forwarded my papers to the concerned office. Their Gallery does not have any contact number either.

                I request you to kindly help me sort out the issue once and for all.The call centre officials of Airtel are a bunch of ignorant fools who do not know what their counter parts are doing.

                  I HAVE BEEN USING AIRTEL BROADBAND FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW . I TOOK THE 10GB 4MBPS CONNECTION BELIEVING IT TO BE FAST . BESIDES BEING THE SLOWEST AND WORST , THE 10 GB
                  IS GONE IN 4 OR 5 DAYS FROM THE DATE AIRTEL ALLOWS THE SO CALLED 4MBPS SPEED ( WORST THEN A SNAIL ) I USE THE BROADBAND FOR NORMAL WORKING AND NO MOVIES NOTHING BUT 10 GB GONE IS 5 DAYS . THIS IS THE BEST JOKE . WHEN ASKED HOW THEY SAY , SIR , WE WILL CONNECT YOU TO YOUR UTILITY SITE AND YOU CAN SEE . FUNNY NOTHING COMES UP ON THAT CHECKKING SITE. DATE - USED SO MUCH - DAYE USED SOMUCH , FUNNY

                  OK 10GB GONE IN 5 DAYS , FINE . THEN EVERY NOW AND THEN THEN BLOCK EVEN THE SLOWEST CONNECTION WITH A RED SCREEN ASKING FOR EXTRA MONEY TO BE PAID FOR SPEED.. BLOODY THEY GO ON DISTURBING EVEN IF YOU CANCELL THE RED BLOCK AND SAY NO NEED.

                  WHEN 4MBPS IS WORST THAN A SCAIN ON AIRTEL , WHAT IS THE GOOD IN WASTING MORE MONEY . THE BEST PART IS THERE IS NOBODY PROPER TO COMPLAIN AND NO BLOODY CHEIF OR MANAGER YOU CAN CONTACT . THE AIRTEL ENQUIRY NUMBER 198 , THE ANSWERING MECHINE IS SO CUNNINGLY SET UP , IT CONFUSES ANYBODY AND GOES ON ASKING UNWANTED QUESTIONS AND YOU PAY EVEN FOR THIS COMPLAINTS LINE . AN ORDINARY PERSON CAN NEVER GET TO SPEAK TO THE AIRTEL COMPAINTS GUYS . THIS IS THE CUNNING TECHNIQUE USED. FUNNY QUESTIONS AND FUNNY ANSWERS AND CONFIRMATION AGAIN AND THE SAME THING REPEATED.

                  SO TO SAY , I AM REALY FED UP OF AIRTEL AND ITS DIRTY BUSINESS TACTICS , I HAVE DICONNECTED TWO LINE FROM OFFICE AND NEXT MONTH I WILL DISCONNECT THE LAST ONE TOO. NEXT MONTH. WORST SERVICE THE GUYS GIVE YOU AND ALL DIRTY WAYS OF INTERACTION. AND NO PROPER ANSWERS FOR THE COMPLAINT OR THEY SIMPLY SAY BY THIS TIME SOME GUY WILL COME AND CHECK ., AFTER SO MUCH OF TIME WASTE AND STRUGGLE TO GET THE LINE. FINALLY THE GUYS DO SOMETHING , THEN AGAIN IT IS A PROBLEM .

                  I MUST SAY THE DIRTY TECHNIQUES AIRTEL IS USING TO MAKE FAST MONEY , WILL FOR SURE EFFECT THE NAME OF THIS COMPANY.

                    I got my post paid connection converted to prepaid at the Airtel gallery situated in Lokhandwala, Andheri west on 25th Aug. 2012 for [protected]. I submitted all documents/proof of residence, photo and forms. I was told my services will resumed after 24 hrs.After my service remained disconnected, I visited Gallery again because no one from Airtel could confirm my request. After no. of calls and lot of harrasment I had to go to Gallery again situated far away from my house and place of work where it turned out to be that all I had to do was to recharge with a voucher of Rs. 47 without talk time. I did that and my connection started.
                    Altthough I had submitted all forms/ photograph/address proof and outstanding amount on 25th itself. Now I get a sms saying my documents are not received! I have to go back to Gallery otherwise my service will discontinue!!
                    This is most ridiculous. Inspite of being a post paid connection holder, inspite of submitting documents I should run around all over again!!!
                    Guys in Airtel dont know anything except to repeat like a parrot!
                    I am shocked to know that they dont even know how to deal with a customer and just hang up when one complains.
                    I will go to Consumer Forum if my services are affected as this is the only life line for me.
                    I have never seen more ignorance in any other telephone service provider than airtel..
                    Can you please talk to these people and sort the problem

                    PS as I write this I get a call from one ms. Rajni Sharma from Airtel to enquire about my complain. She repeats that I should go to that gallery again otherwise my service will be disconnected. She hangs up when I ask for her supervisor.

Airtel customer service saying we have intimated by sms. however your inbox may be full i[censored] not get the sms. Actually these Companies collecting byforce such type of money from customers.                       My Airtel phone no is [protected]

                      I could not send any SMS to any phone number or even to customer care.

                      There is no problem in phone or its settings, because if I change the sim card, it is workig.

                      The error message is coming as

                      Message sending Failed Try again later.

                      The above problem is existing for about 4 months.
                      Kindly try to rectify this.

                        Sir, I am a regular user of Airtel My Mobile no.[protected] since 2010.Today at10.47 am I got a miss call from[protected]. I did not guess about this miss call ,so I rang the number flashed on my mob.in miss call. From other side I was told that some Mr. Rajveer from AIR TEL speaking and informed me that I had won Rs.25 lac lottery from AIRTEL customer’s Mob.nos. for getting this you just call mr.akash in mumbai at no. [protected]. it is fraud than I want to take some action from your side because some want to take benefit of your esteemed organization and may cheat some innocent persons on your behalf. Kindly, draw the kind attention of your higher officers so that appropriate action may be taken against such fraud person who is defaming you Good Name. I shall be a good witness in this matter. Pl. reply me soon.

                        There were calls from[protected] about AIRTEL lottery.

                        We have informed the same to airtel call center and asked them to block such calls specifically from this ISD code.

                        The service provider says that he would charge for the same that too ten numbers fro INR 30/-.

                        Request you to suggest the way forward.
                        Today i receved call from no [protected] name mr rajesh bala . He informed me that he is airtel company ssecretary. And my number has been selected for 25lac lottery.                           I am an airtel fixedline customer and I am harassed from your customer care services:

                          1) I have raised a complaint to change the bill plan in the month of May-> It was not completed where as I have been assured that it will be completed in 5 days
                          Suffering to customer : I have to pay 1 n half month bill as per old bill [Rs 700 went extra from my pocket].
                          2) Security money was not adjusted in my 1st and 2nd month bill : Acc. to company norms it should have been adjusted in the first bill itself. I continuously followed with airtel customer care and due to delay in issue resolution it lead to late fees payment.
                          3) I am being charged for DSL usage charges from last 2 months : I am not using your PC secure so why I am being charged for the same and why late charges are added to my bill when wrong bill is generated from airtel and customer care does not address the customer problem.

                          Today I called airtel broadband customer care[protected].The call went for half an hour and your customer care representative did not addresses to my issue and finally disconnected the call.

                          Request you please help me to adjust my late fees charges + DSL usage charges for the last bill.

                          Please let me know if you need any further details from my end.

                            This is to inform you that we had installed the Airtel connection on May 2009, since then we are facing a lot of problem.At least 20 times our internet is not worked and also 6/7 times our telephone connection not worked.As on today our phone / internet is not working. We made a complaint on 26th May Complaint No.33134314.

                            Being an office this has not only been extremely inconvenient for us, we have suffered loss in terms of work time. We have also had to spend a lot of money getting and using alternate broadband connection / Data cards. And another thing is the landline No. s has been given to our clients. Our landline is also not working still now and this is extremely inconvenient for us.

                              I am in Coimbaore and using Airtel Recorder Digial TV since 8 months. My customer id is [protected]. I have registered my complaint 1 month ago and Airtel executives were visited multiple times to my place just for 150 rs. In this one month, I have paid one month rent and 4 times to airtel executives without any use. Every day i am calling Airtel customer care and Airtel Office in Coimbaore, but there is no proper assistance. They saying that, We don't know what is the problem and we are analyzing it. I am wondering, this is not a critical rocket science for fixing the issue takes more than a month. Please do the needful to resolve the issue or you guys can say that we are not fully qualified providers to solve all kind of problems. If so, I can move to some valuable DTH and come out from worthless place.

                              The actual issue is, i able to see only two channels from airtel DTH and other channels are showing error code : 4. I have enough balance and south pack channel subscription.

                                Rip Off after Pre-Paid to Post Paid...Imposed Bill of Rs. 1100 by Airtel...Phone [protected]

                                I was happy with this Pre-Paid connection for close to 10 years. I had good control on the related expenses with pre-paid. Was lured into Post by for free by Airtel.

                                The sad part is that I asked for Internet package of Rs. 98 on start of the Post paid. Yet AIrtel has imposed an Internet usage bill of Rs,1100.

                                I have been following up with them for last 2 weeks, yet they have not done anything on it so far. Highly disappointed by such lack of concern for customer.

                                  This phone was dead for over 2 weeks. It has started working now. The engineer took more than 3 hours to sort out the internet issues, yet the internet is not working yet.

                                  AIRTEL....you may enjoy it, but customers don't want to wait weeks, that is soon going to turn into month to sort out these basic issues. Fix it or take it away, we don't want it to be a pain it has become.

                                      This is with reference to the latest bill I have received for my mobile number [protected] where I have been charged UNDULY for Internet services for which I have never subscribed to.

                                      The bill contains charges for Rs. 1768.70/- for 2G and 3G services and I have NOT consented to activate any of the services. In addition, the highly uncooperative behaviour of the Airtel staff (in particular Mr. Rajesh Kamal, Supervisor) is very disappointing to say the least. The response I got from Airtel was that we had ACTIVATED SERVICE WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT in December 2011 and so you are being charged. This amounts to undue harassment on the part of Airtel and blatant disregard for rules laid down by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

                                      Upon repeated calls to Airtel customer care, Mr. Rajesh Kamal, Supervisor informed me in a very high handed manner that he was unable to help me with regards to my complaint and it was not Airtel's duty to seek consent from my end for activation of these services

                                      I have not given any consent to activate these services on my mobile number.

                                      AirTel — Activation of Services without information

                                      I am using airtel prepaid connection from a long time. All my family members are using telecom services by airtel. But we find it very annoying when some services like Jyotish or Night Radio etc. are activated on our cell and without our choice, by itself. On calling customer care services they claim that we have made those choices and the balance deducted from our account is right. On inquiring about those calls they refuse to give us info and put on hold for a long time then disconnect.
                                      I want to know how can I get my lost balance back and refuse forever the service calls and msgs from the company. Their DND service also fails to prevent this.
                                      It was not one or two time but its a regular practice by them on our different no.s.

                                      I am fade up of this service Airtel.They are really sucking their customer. They activated their services in my no. themselves and charged every time I recharge my phone no.they are really harassing their consumer.

                                      I am unable to put it in words that how frustrating Airtel can be! I have been complaining about the automatic activation of cricket updates on my number [protected], but this hasn't stopped yet! I have lost so much of amount because of this service that airtel has imposed on me unilaterally. Although I got a response from their official email but it seems that the people in their customer care do not have appropriate knowledge. They would keep on saying that it won't happen but it happens every single time! They would only reimburse the money sometimes when I shout at them on phone but they do not have a permanent solution!

                                      Once they reimburse, within few days this again happens and money gets deducted from my balance. This malpractise only suggests that Airtel is nothing but a bunch of cheaters!!
                                      Hello, where are we on this issue? Receiving cricket updates after every 10 minutes is really frustrating!

                                      Airtel has activated friends chat service on my mobile phone without my permission.. also they have activated valentine day service service on my phone without my permission. I called them to stop all stupid services on my phone that time I came to know that frirnds chat service has been activated on my phone from last threee months and they were charging me Rs. 1 per day..this is not at all acceptable.

                                        I activated the airtel 3g 1gb pack on 31,July,2012. And the service was good for the first 15 days. The problems started after 15 days after the activation. I was getting browsing speeds of 0kbps - 5kbps, which is worse than 2G. I called the airtel customer care to troubleshoot the problem and shockingly their solution was to restart the phone, which ofcourse didn't work. When I tried to call them back I was shocked to see that my number was blocked by them. Whenever I tried to reach them my call was disconnected. And the problem is not solved till date and my monthly validity has expired. Sir it is my humble request that you look in to this matter and hope you deliver justice to me.

                                        Airtel — Worst Poor Bad customercare

                                        Airtel is doing poor customer care service. They are not like to go with good business and they need only big turn of business.
                                        Still no response from the airtel team. Worst carrier ever !!!
