Hi this is Mine Chand Thapa and i am a Airtel subscriber (Kol:[protected]) for last 6 years and so its very sad to say that some services got activated automatically like getting url http://203.15.112.5/mvc/default.aspx?route=unsub but when opening the same not working wanted to unsubscribe the same, made a call today to customer care i got know that some friendship service activated in my account and the agent who received the call told me that its been activated from my side by dialing some sort code no and deducted Rs.30, when asked for nodal office no after call put on hold after some time i don't know where call was tansferred or may be put on some mode where i've stayed on line for more than 5 mins or so but no response...i'm really upset with the service.

There is a message to my above mobile phone yesterday dated 18.08.2011 mentioning therein a link to deactivate weekly automatic download of Java Games related to MVC Service. As I want to deactivate the service, I tried it to unsubscribe with the given link from my mobile handset. But, the same is not working. There may be a problem with the LInk or it may be due to poor internet connectivity.

Airtel — MVC

Kindly deactivate MVC which got activated accidentally on 18.08.2011.
On 19.08.11, My husband complained through this Forum and request made for deactivation as the link given to deactivate has not been working. The link seems out of service. Probably, Airtel does not want that we unsubscribe it. Till dat, Rs. 110/= had been charged on account of it. Yesterday on 24.08.2011, Rs.30 deducted from main balance without notice before or after.
We tried to contact Customer Service 12191 which was found not working.
We phoned 121 which connected me to one Operator of Customer Care. The man appeared floundering. He could not help.
Please tell me as to what next I can do in order to unsubscribe the service, if at all it can be said a service.

    I was using AIRTEL DTH for 2 months customer ID [protected] I didnt like the annoying red/white airtel logo on my TV screen... Why should I keep the annoying ugly airtel logo when I have to pay for the service already... I wanted to do something to stop this... So I called technical support they said we cant stop this OK then STOP your service thats what I said... People should realize why should we adjust and keep things like this if we already pay a lot for the subscription... If 10 people stop the subscription they will stop this ugly annoying logo on your screen... All they need is customer -"You"... thanks - Vijay

      Whenever i tried to complain regarding sim card lost of airtel,the customer care always busy as urgent steps has to be taken instead.Lost simcard can be used by any other illegal person,as we know that these days can blame to anyone,thus i dont wan to occure.
      Now,I have lost again post paid sim of the same that has to suddenly complain to the customer care but doing the same is such an unconditional.

        Hi myself Mitul H chonker. I m from vapi (gujarat). I have purchase Airtel DTH From Raj Watches & Electronics Vapi Gunjan on 14/12/2009. My Customer ID is [protected]. After this one year last 03/01/2011 our Airtel DTH setup box is not working. Message flash (download new software). I call nearest Airetel DTH Office Mr. Bhavesh Rohit talk to me. He told me he came at my home and change setup box. we have followup him continue 3 days. after that he came at my home and change setup box. but after change we have facing same proble.         On 22nd May I applied for a Airtel DTH Connection over telephone and an amount of Rs 999 has been deducted from my credit card. While taking the money it was promised the connection will be given with 24Hrs. Till today I have send several emails and called customer service with all negative reply. Please help me getting my money back or help me getting my connection

        Dear Sir/ Madam,

        I have issues with Airtel DHT service where I had requested for the connection based on the 999 plan (for customer who have Airtel mobile and land line connection) as my family and some of my neighbors wanted to check the connection based on this they also wanted to take new connections from Airtel DTH. When the sales person called I clearly told him that I need Malayalam and Tamil which is very important and Kannada as well. The sales person said you need to just take Tamil top-up which will include Malayalam also and another top up which would be Kannada (Note: the sales person was from north India). When we got the connection we were shocked to see there is no Surya TV and Kiran TV and not all kannada channels. I called in a matter of 1 ½ hr to customer care to check why this has happened assuming that it is a miss from Airtel. When called the person who picked up the call said Tamil and Malayalam are two different top ups and that I need to choose any two from Tamil, Malayalam or Kannada. I asked them to update Malayalam however there was no Kannada. When some more of my neighbors came home to check this out they were looking for Kannada and there was channels that they wanted. (Note: after booking the connection from the same person I had informed many friends about this offer and most of them where interested with the connection as we were getting all the 3 language free as top)

        I called customer care again regarding this issue stating that I have not got the channels that was promised by sales person and also if possible “TEN Sports”. The person who picked up the phone said this is not an option that we can give and that I have no choise then to stick on to this connection. The discussion went in such a way that I felt i can never expect any good service from Airtel DTH so I requested for cancellation of the service (Note: I had used the service only for 3 hrs and requested for
        disconnection) and the person said there would be a per who would call next day by 11AM (25th) which did not happen, when called they told me it will happen before 5:00PM (25th), no one called when I called back they informed the lead time is 26th 5:00 PM however they would arrange a call back before
        1:00 PM which did not happen either and when I called again the person said “why done you understand? When we say 26th 5:00PM you will get the call you have no other option then to wait till then” which I did but no call back.
        (Note: all this while I am sitting at home waiting for a person to call to come over and take back the equipment) when I called after 5:00PM (26th) I was informed that they have to raise another request for disconnection and it would take another 2 days, I asked for manager who promised that they would be someone calling me on 27th before 1:00 PM which also did not happen, again called, spoke to manager and finally got the equipment disconnected.

        Today 28th at around 10:00 AM a lady (ooo my god from north India again) calls to check if I want to disconnect the services, when I told her that the disconnection of equipment is already done yesterday, she still insisted me to say that “I do not want the services” and immediately she said that as you know there would not be any refund that I would be getting and she banged the phone saying that it is not our problem and I opted to disconnect the service. (Note: During all the conversation to customer care i asked every representative about the refund and they said it will happen and most important the two managers that I spoke to also informed that the refund would happen.)

        I feel I am been cheated and your customer care department promise for a refund and someone calls and says that there would not be any refund. If I know this before I would have not asked you people to disconnect and would have kept the equipment and never would have got the connection recharged at least I would have TRIED using free one month subscription

          I have purchased 3G usb modem from Airtel relationship center recently.
          I have invested Rs. 2100/- For 3G modem
          & around 400 for unlimated recharge card.
          I have been told that you will get speed around 256 kbps. and after lounch 3g you will gate 3.5 mbps
          But now I am getting speed which is shown by modem is:-
          maximum-56 to 92kbps (Few minutes in hours o[censored]se)
          Minimum- 0 to 12kbps (maximum time of the day)
          Average- 6kbps (the average speed after use for a hour)
          I advise you not to choose airtel at any cost.
          Anyway i am going to stop using. airtel not having customer complaint portal, no toll free no. they charge for technical help, mis guide to customer

          Hi,

          Airtel 3G service at Bangalore is very bad. The guys aren't able to activate 3G for my number & keep bluffing that it is active in order to grab the rent. An Airtel Bannerghatta Branch officer confirmed that there is a Technical Fault for Corporate Connection 3G users which is unattended.

          We hope another good GSM service provider would soon capture the Indian market and put these Airtel guys totally down to the virtue of shutting down due to worst service and arrogant misbehaviour to customers.

            I am being harassed by Airtel Friendz Chat with unwanted messages. Today I have received an SMS saying this service has been renewed with a charge of Rs.30. I am not interested in this crap nonsense, and would request that necessary action be taken with Airtel to have this amount re-credited to my prepaid account, and that this unwanted messages be stopped permanently.               I have purchased one Airtel Digital TV on 25th October 2010. During the time of time the sales person has committed that 7 months free subscription and free sports channels for the same months for Rs1590/-. But every month we are facing the problem, due to disconnection the dish. Even we have called the sale representative and we have told that there is no response from them. Airtel is the no1 cheater in this field. I suggest others, kindly never buy this digital tv.

                I HAVE PURCHASE A AIRTEL HD CONNECTION IN NOV,2010 AND HAVE MADE ALMOST 16 COMPLAINTS IN 3 MONTHS FOR POOR SIGNAL QUALITY, VIDEO PROBLEMS ETC. AND EVERY TIME THEIR ENGINEERS SORT OF TECHNICIANS VISITED THE PREMISES BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. AND WITH 2-1/2 MONTHS MY SET TOP BOX WAS FAILED TO OPERATE. THEY HAVE CHANGED THE SAME BUT OVER AND ABOVE 48 HOURS THEY FAILED TO ACTIVATE MY SERVICES AGAIN TILL 15TH JANUARY, 2010 UPTO 4.29 PM, THEIR CUSTOMER CARE AND THE ENTIRE AIRTEL DIGITAL SERVICE IS A WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN THE COUNTRY AS COMPARED TO TATASKY, VIDEOCON D2H WHICH I HAVE USED.                     Hi,

                    This is to inform everyone about the experience I had yesterday with the customer care executive on 198 service of Airtel.
                    I called up the 198 no.to register a complaint regarding a tariff voucher that was not working.The executive first told me that his computer was not working and then he started to ask me personal questions as to what do i do or in which class i was studying .I gave the phone to my mother and he said that my mom's voice was not good and that i should take the call.He was such a .When I shouted at him he disconnected the phone and now when i try to connect to 198 it throws me out of the IVR.

                    I want to ask is this kind of customer care service Airtel is providing to girls ? Are they not safe when they call to customer care? I have woked with international companies where each call was monitored, and see here a company like airtel doesn't even bother to have the guilty punished.

                      Sir my airtel prepaid connection number is [protected].This number has been used by my Uncle (wife`s father).He is aged about 75.For the past two months airtel has deducted Rs.30 each for the following services 1.airtel theatre,2.cricket 3.lovelove5.Monthly Rs.90 has been deducted unauthorisedly by airtel.I have verified with other airtel customers also,in every customer`s account airtel is deducting amount for one or two services as though it was provided.For any service airtel should get the consent of the customers with writings or by more than two clicks.How it is possible for a aged man to subscribe the service called LOVE 5 ?.Never ,it is airtel by using varied methods for deducting money from the account.So i am asking airtel to repay the amount deducted from the number [protected]

                      Sir,
                      I have an airtel prepaid connection (mobile no.[protected]). From last 6/7 month airtel sending me message (You've been renewed for MMSSUB, Alert subscription service on Airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs 30) and deducting Rs.30/- though I have never entertained such service. Then I contact at customer care after a long conversation they informed that the service was not chargeable and returned my money back every month. But last month (08.12.08) again deducted Rs.30/- showing a message that (Thanks for downloading Alert from Airtel Live WAP Service. You've been charged Rs. 30. Enjoy http://10.5.45.107/w?sId=001). Then I contact at customer care but they refused to back me money. for your kind information that I have deactivated airtel live service and every fake subscription like other every conversation before, and they assured me all of my request with sending me sms (Dear customer as per your request service has been deactivated). But nothing they still cutting money by sending fake sms. So, I request you please solve my problems immediately.

                      As my self younuss pasha, my father having airtel prepaid mobile connection [protected] for the past 3-4 years. It is a lifetime account. we live in bangalore (karnataka) On dec 7th i called up airtel customer care executive to check the balance on this particular number they in formed me that i have less than Rs-1.00 (one-rupee) but i had recharged for rs 300.00 in the month of october, when i asked is there any packages activated on my number they said some combo package is activated with out my knoledge how can they activate like this , this is not the first time it happend with my father its second time last time same value of amount had been deducted but i had warned them next time it shuld never happen but its repeated so i request u to help me out in this matter .

                      I have been using an Airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) in Noida (NCR) for the past 3 yrs. I have recharged my mobile which was having zero balance, after many days today & as soon as my account was recharged I got an sms from the number AD-51010 stating that I have subscribed to Airtel talkies & 30 Rs. were deducted straightaway from my available balance. The fact is that I never subscribed any of the stupid services myself; neither did I give any call for subscription, nor did I send any sms.

                      When I called up the Customer Care, a lady checked out the details and told me that the service was subscribed on some particular date but I said that I did not send any kind of request for subscription of the same. The Customer Care female executive did not help me out & just hung up. What kind of Customer Care is it when they are not even ready to listen.

                      Previously, I had full faith on Airtel but now I am really pissed off. I am sure many must have faced the same problem. The question is not of the mere 30 Rs. that have been deducted but this should not happen when the customer has not subscribed for anything at all.

                        Dear Sir,
                        On[protected] i used GPRS session in my mobile no. [protected] for 10mins from 8.50pm to 9.00pm at that time my balance is around Rs.78. After that i stopped GPRS session that time my balance is around Rs.73, but after stopping the session also money has been debiting continuously in my mobile from 9pm to 9.30pm and my balance after deducting it went to Rs.52 nearly Rs.22 deducted in my account balance. In this time 2-3 times i called customer care they told server is very slow you call after 2hrs. After that i called customer care 2hrs later but attending the call i will transfer to our higher authority person regarding the issue. But after transferring the call, the call has been automatically disconnected. Regarding this problem please take the necessary action to credit my debited amount and do the needful as soon as possible.

                          airtel pre-paid — Disconnected without Notice

                          I had a life time prepaid [protected] which I had taken in April 2007. Before leaving India in Sept 2007, I had loaded Rs 2000 worth of talk time. Since I was outside of India, I was not taking any calls on roaming. However SMS sent were being recieved. In June 2008, the phone just went out of service.

                          I have tried to contact Airtel with an explanation [REF:[protected]] which they have not been able to close even after repeated follow up. I think there is something fishy in the service they are providing and feat foul play.

                          I would request a resolution through proper channels on getting my Rs 2000 + life time prepaid charges back from Airtel - Bangalore. Hope to get some direction to get this resolved.

                            With humble request I Abdul Rasheed Bhat, R/O Mumkak, Batapora Sopore, Distt. , Baramulla, J&K, India (Tower allotment sight is Tawheed Bagh Mumkak,Batapora,sopore in our house premises )want to bring to your kind notice that we have been allotted a BHARTI AIRTEL tower in our own land in November/December 2006.All the required documents and agreement was signed and work was also completed for site. Almost tower was near to complete when our neighbors’ lodged complaints for the same. A stay order was noticed by court as our neighbors’ started complaint for tower. According to the agreement signed by us and your company was that we will be receiving 5000Rs each month after work will get started at site for construction. After signing we have received the monthly rent of 5000Rs for 7-8 months and money was stopped because of stay order by the our neighbours.No one from your agency came to answer them and no body fought the case our land was occupied by your authorities and in turn a court case was against us from January 2007.
                            I am a old person with fours-five children and I my self was fighting for the this tower case almost from 4 years I sold land to win that case so this could be a source of income for me and my children. I visited every officer who took signs and document from me but till date no body helped me. Even I fought with my all neighbors’ for this tower allotment and start. I used all my money for winning this tower case and finally I received a go ahead notice from court also for started on of tower. Now tower is in working condition and all their officers who visited the site never accepted to give my cheques.

                            I am very disappointed by your authorities who never came in this issue and now it’s working but my money has no been issued. I very confused what mistake I did that we gave my own land for your tower so you get benefited and me also but that time never came.

                            Kindly look in this matter and think about my kids and my family, we have no choice left for our income.
                            So please consider my complaint and take some action.

                              Unwanted subscription to 54321 airtel services which deducts Rs. 10 everytime
                              I have been receiving unwanted services like football updates, astrology, friendschat etc from 54321 which deducts Rs. 10 everytime from my prepaid balance. I have never registered to these services. After I request for deactivation , it again subscribes to these services after few days and deducts Rs. 10 from my balance. I request you to please urgently look into this issue.

                              I have lost my mobile on 3rd of March 2008. I went to Airtel office for issue of duplicate SIM and submitted relevant document required. The authority told me that it will be activated within 3 hours. I have spoken 5 times to custoer care executives they are telling that it has been activated. Today it 8th April 2008. The SIM card is not yet activated.

                              I have been getting regular flash messages namely christian alerts and every now and then Rs 7 is deducted from my balance.

                              Airtel Prepaid Services — Wrong Billing and Unhelpful Customer Care

                              Airtel Prepaid card No. [protected] in the name of my husband Mr. Manoj P. Patke, has been wrongly debited for services for which we have not subscribed. Good Morning messages and Shayari messages keep coming. For this, we have lodged complaint No. [protected] on 23rd December, 2008. Since then, I have been daily speaking to various Customer Care Executives for refund due to me for the wrong debits. Many times I have been told that the server is not functional, at other times I have been promised that the wrong debit of approx. Rs. 37 would be refunded within 2-4 hours.

                              Even today i had tried to get my work done, through Mr. Dileep at 1.20 p.m. but was told to call back after 30 mins. since the server was down.

                              Since so many days have passed by, I request you to urgently look into and settle the amt. due to me.

These services charging monthly Rs.15 from last 6 month to till date. But I am very sorry to say that I am still charging by your company. It is against the Rule. You are requested to discontinue this type of services. You are also requested to look into the matter that how and why these services have been activated on my phone and kindly refund my all money charged by you.                               Airtel Prepaid Services — Daily deduction of charges

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              Myself Amol Potdar. I am a 26 year old person and in service. I stay in Kothrud, Pune. I need to make a complaint with the Consumer Forum against Airtel Prepaid services.

                              I am using the Airtel prepaid card for almost 6 years now. Since last one month, they have activated some shayari and jokes pack on my mobile without my approval. They charge Rs 1.5/- per day for such sms. On calling the custome care, they always say that they have deactivated the services and I wont be charged further. But still the charge and the sms continues.

                              I have even messaged to STOP the services on their customer care. But still no use. I understand this is a very small issue but still a wrong practise.

                              Please help me or guide me how to resolve the issue. Changing the card will be my last option but that will be like giving such people an excuse to continue their such malpractises with many other customers like me.

                              Airtel Prepaid Services — Unsolicated extension of service

                              My mobile no is [protected] - Airtel prepaid service.
                              Airtel customer care KOLKATA have extended a service called Saibaba unsolicatedily i,e without being asked for and deducted an amount of Rs 30.00. An organisation of such high repute it is surprising Airtel is indulging such fraud activities.Please unsubscribe the service immediately and refund the amount so deducted.
                              my pre paid airtel [protected]. this has recently stopped showing balance and validity under option two of request call at*121#.onchecking i find same problem in other two noumbers we have in our family. it returns message" done" with out any replyH as airtel stopped this info.Further all my three prepaid service nos deducted money for services never requested by us. cancellaton of these every time cost another rs 3.thus adding salt to injury. for example cricket message is a unsolicited service in my no[protected].Despite several futile attempts to block it incurring rs 3 every time.presently we have stopped topping it and have retained it for receving calls for which we have previously given this no.. Will airtel stop abuse of this service This is only an example.I have experianced uncalled for charge for games whichcost 50s and hundreds.. we are seiously considering number portability to others if this fleecing does not stop.hope we get a soultion/explanation for this problem.

                              Airtel Prepaid Card — Deduction of SMS charges

                              I had recharge with SMS pack of 95 on 11.02.11 which expires on 10.03.11
                              in which i was eligible to send 500 SMS daily but on 28.02.11 i had send only 25 SMS and all my bal Rs. 79 was deducted from my account.
                              I am a customer of Airtel Prepaid services since 3-4 yrs now...

                              However, from the last one year i'm getting network coverage problems, due to which i may have lost my important calls...it was also never the case that i have not validated mobile validity services for a single month...I am very much disappointed that even after paying money to the company they are not able to provide the services effectively.

                              For the above i have communicated with their Customer Services desk. The representatives just assured me with the false solutions which were never worked. I lodged my complaints with them in the month of March 2008 but of no use. Today i.e. on 9th July i'd called them for the same issue but the story was not different than above.

                              Please help me on this issues as I'm not at all satisfied with the services provided by the Airtel Prepaid Servicces...

                              AirTel — charges daily

                              My mob no [protected], it is predpaid, daily re 1 is deducted every day,this is happened in the month of April 11 , however this month i checked the balance every day and found Rs 2 or Rs 3 being deducted without any call beingmade. i called the care sercie, i was informed of some deduction of re1 per day. I was told it would be rectified.

                              Airtel Prepaid — Daily charges without using service

                              I have been using an Airtel prepaid connection for the past few years. Recently i noticed that that whenever i recharge my account, Airtel keeps on deducting Re.1 each day from my balance. I checked whether any service was active and found that i havent subscribed to aby of the services. I called the Customer care and they too told me that I have not subscribed any extra services. They kept on insisting that no deduction has been made. I asked the executive to pass the complaint to someone actually working with Airtel. The customer care executive told me to wait online. Despite waiting for about 15 mins on the call, no one picked the call. The deduction has been going on for the past 3-4 months and these days I do not recharge my number since once the balance is above Re.1, they are deducting amount.
                              Where can I get the complaint registered?

                              I have been also facing the same problem for last few months. When I asked the customer care, they said there are no services activated on my phone. Then what are these deductions for ??? ... I really don't understand AIRTEL policy to fool around with people.

                              I am using airtel connection no.[protected]. recently some service or services are activated without my consent and the balance is deducted. How this has happend ?

I do not no what it is and I never heard/availed that service. This is not the first time, previouslt too it happened two, three times. This amounts to unfair/illogical business practice charging customers for unvailed services. I want the Rs.20 to be refunded failing which I will take up the matter with concerned depts and report to media about Airtel's unfair practice which is equalled with highway robbery

                              For your attention please, I may have to take this to consumer court. because this for the 3 rd time its happening.

                              I called to gulf on 6 jan 2012 and spoke for 3min and 08 sec and for that 60 rupees have been deducted from my account.

                              This is my 3rd compliant for the same issue.

                              How many times do i have to compliant for regrading the same issue. Fed up. You have not resolved my excessive billing issue but telling a lie that is is resolved.

                              My concern have not been resolved yet.

                              Kindly refund the excess money deducted from my a/c.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am a resident of Bangarpet(No. 3688/1, 2nd Cross,, Vijayanagar, Bangarpet, Kolar District, Karnataka, 563114). We have mobile tower installed in front of our house which belongs to Airtel company. I am not objecting or against the installation of the tower but this specific tower is creating lot of problems to the public.
                                Explanation:After the installation of this Airtel tower lot of monkey's have started staying here and you know here is the actual problem.
                                1) It has become difficult for a lonely person to walk through the streets.
                                2) These monkeys will not allow you to carry any hand bags or carry bags with you.
                                3) I had a incident when the main door of my house was open one of its baby entered my home and there were about 15 to 20 monkey's entered my home to get the baby.
                                4) Once a few of these had attacked a dog in our street and today it has alomost attacked my dog if i were not there i would have lost my dog.
                                5) These monkeys are targetting small kids.

                                We have already complained to the town municipal authorities. I here by request the concerned officers to take necessary action to avoid these incidents before any damage causing to publicin future..

                                    This is to reference my Mobile Connection No [protected] with you, I am facing constant and this is the third time that Phone is barred of Making any Out Going Calls as well as receiving any Incoming Calls and although on calling your customer care No. 121 repeatedly, they are constantly saying that I, myself have put a request to Deactivate the connection or directed them to cancel my connection, where as I, myself, have never been made such calls and neither requested to your customer care to do so, as this is my business phone & using the connection since long and the number is distributed to all my customer base and I will never want to cancel this number ever and also could not think of it.

                                    I guess, somehow somebody have known to some secret information’s pursuant this connection and is trying to Mentally Disturb me or Trying to Hurt & hamper my business

                                    I fervently request you to please look into the matter and request you to please take appropriate action against the culprit whoever is trying to disrupt my business

It was nearly 2-3 months i did not login to airtel mcampus but when i login recently i found that is 'UPDATE' about 1 day ago it means somebody is 'HACKING' my mcampus 'PROFILE' so there is a chance of 'miss use of my profile' so i want to unsubscribe from airtel mcampus but there is no unsubscribe option in airtel mcampus.so kindly 'HELP ME' to unsubscribe from airtel mcampus.
