i was using my airtel number [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] n i gt a cal from sum madam to get convert my other numebrs workin wid videcon n idea to port in airtel ....i agree n madam said mr.gurcharan singh from jalandhar whose number are [protected],[protected] .. he told me abt all the tariff plans n said me tht my all videcon n idea number wil be port in airtel the numer are as following [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protect... n sum more number

nw tariff plan which he told to me

137 rs 17000 sconds free calling n cal rate 30 paisa to airtel 40 to others n 60 to landline n 200 sms local n national free

225 plan sum mins free n cal rate again 30-40-60 n sams free local n national

499 plan 20-30-60 with sms free both




he gave me sim of videcon n idea number to change after port n he told me earlier airtel number which are workin wil be automatically tranfer with all ports number in corparte connection ..n when i send msg from port mobile number to 121 with writtin bill plan (BP) i recived the msg i will gt 200 free mins n all calls rates in punjab .75paisa .....its a great cheating with me .n while doing the deal with me i asked abt any benifit if i gt all the numbers portable wat u giv to me ....he asked gt ur port n i will giv u one number which will end by 00001,00007 .... on tht basis i agree to port the number ..after tht i was callin him again n again abt the number he said i m just doin ur work wait 15 mins i will call u back bt never called n later he stop pickin my fone ..then i cal him from other number after 5 days he picked the fone n when i told him me callin n wat abt the number he said talk to my brother gurpreet he is worki on this whose number [protected] ... he directly said me tht he is our employee bt the number he has commited n wat he had commited is false n u will nt gt tht number ..i[censored] want tht number u hav to pay 150000 , i agree the number is paid bt y just to gt my 1 numbers port he give me false commitent .. i want u should take action against him as soon as possible otherwise with this way of workin airtel will losse the faith in coustmers....




1 . i want as per the commitment by ur airtel excecutive u issue me the number nw on vic basis he gt all my number port 00001 or 00007

2 . put all my earlier airtel number as commited in one corparte connection

3. as commited by the plan of 225 on [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],

4. 499 plan on [protected] corparate plan

5. all earlier airtel number in corparate with plan [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] with the plan of 225

6. and rest all number with the plan of 137

7. n as per comminted by 200 local n national sms free on any mobile




i want to resolve the issue as soon as possible as per the commitment by mr. gurcharan from jalandhar i hv already mention his number fr ur trackin ........ otherwise i will hav to go to consumer court fr this




i am really very disappointed by all this ... our a busiines firm ..we dont hav tym to check all this tariff in market gt call frm ur call center n ur selfish executive do so much false promise to just for there sales n after tht when the gt the signature they dont even listen to the coustmer n nt talk properly n stop pickin the fone




hope u do knw as ur selfish excective commited to me by anyway

    hello sir i a using air-tel 3g service from last 1 month as i had already reported this complaint 4 times but no action has been taken yet i do have an complaint number when i asked Ur advisor reagrding the status of the complaint which i made he disconnected the call he said that the problem is solved but its not. the first two weeks i am getting the 3g connection good but after that i am only getting the 2g speed that's to so worst now i really don't know what actually i need to do i had a wrd with couple o[censored]r colleagues they took the complaint but i don't know they actually working on them or not. so i need a help in order to sort out the problem.

    I did asked the advisor couple of times when i am not getting the solution and he disconnected .

    As an aggrieved consumer it is very difficult to implement our suggestions single handed until taken up by a group.

    The suggestions may not be acceptable to the service providing telecom operator, but if the same can be implemented without cost in the interest of the mass consumers then the procedures and policies can be amicably mutually agreed and implemented in the interest of mass consumers

    All complaints to telecom operators be reflected in the bills. Everything and Everyone harp of money without Satisfactory Service
    .
    E-Complaints are answered with only an auto e-reply without any complaint number by mobile operators Idea / Vodafone etc.
    Are they not supposed to generate a complaint number for reference?
    At least even a part of the complaint is not being included in the e-acknowledgment.

    Require Consumer Organizations / NGO / Telecom Regulatory Authority of India / Consumer groups to check this.
    Steady & Strong Network signal for uninterrupted communication is the need of day in the wake of regular traffic jams / long distances to cover.

Ek din bad kisi ka airtel se call aaya aur kaha gaya ki aap payment kab kar rahe hai. Humne puchha bill thik ho gaya kaya to ok kah kar call kat diya. Eske ek din bad bina kisi suchana ke sin registration failed kar diya gaya. Jab 121 par bat kiya 7-10-008 ko 10.30pm me to mr. raj ne mere saath bure tarike se bat kar rahe the maiy mansik rup se dukhi ho gaya.unko jab complain likhne ko kaha to call kat diya dubara call kar mr. amardi se bat hue aur apni complain likhaya sath main mr.raj ka v complain kiya.eska ref.no.[protected] hai .unhone 4 ghante main phone suru karne ka aswasan diya par sari rat intzar ke bad v suru nahi hua. Main janana chahta hue s main meri kya galti hai phone band hone se jo mera nuksan ho raha hai usko pura kaise hoga.       I had a postpaid connection of 249jackpot.

      my bill ganratation date is 23rd of every month.but i had not recieved any bill no my emailid.i have bill on my mail on 1 of every month because i need to sumbit my bill in office.

      when i call in customer care i am not able to talk any body beacause my call was disconnected again and again.

      so plesae check and revert back me.

      This is Gopajyosyula Satyanarayana I am using Airtel Mobile Connection from last two years, From the last 9 months I am not recieving bills , when ever i called the customer care on 121 & 198 they are saying that we will arrange the field visit to resolve the issue. Till date no person is visited. I want a proper solution and I need the complete rental waiver the above said period. If Airtel people can give me a letter stating the we cannot serve you bill at home i will be OK and monthly rental should be waived off..

      Airtel is not providing the service in the way they give promises. Their network is very weak & if I need to activate any SMS pack or Internet packs, the Airtel network is under progress always & send the msg that "Unable to process this time. Try later." so we cant use that Super saver services at all. They even dont send any confirmation msg or Activation msg to customer so that I am always in Dilemma Situation wheather to use the service or it will be billed in next bill. The same thing happens with me. I have applied for the SMS pack. I didnt got confirmation & told to use service after 24 hours. But now I got huge bill.

      my a/c no 14602765 in my scheme co give me a rs 100 per month rebate in bill but in lateset bill no[protected] no such rebate is shown. pl check the bill and plan and reply on no[protected]
      I have raised the request for plan migration[protected] from 1GB to 8GB on Jul 3rd 2011. I was told that the plan will be migrated in the next billing cycle which starts on Jul 26th and you will be billed as per the new plan. I got the bill of Rs 4958 for the broadband usage from Jul 26th to Aug 25th, as the plan was never migrated to a new one.
      I put the complaint for the billing dispute on Sep 3rd, Complaint no. 3453686, Airtel closed the request on Sep 16th saying that the plan is successfully migrated but they never corrected the bill. I called airtel again and they took another complaint for the billing dispute on Sep 21st . I am still waiting for the billing dispute to be resolved.

      This is extremely painful and I get no updates or no one calls from Airtel to find about the issue. On top of it , I am getting messages that you need to pay your bill otherwise services will be disrupted.

      Request you to look into this ASAP else I am forced to move to another provider.

      Its regarding my airtel bill and suffering I am facing from last 3 months. Every month I face the same problem of heavy billing without my usage and my information. This time I received my bill of Rs 759/- with VAS mobile internet volume amounting for about Rs 600/-. I got my GPRS 98 activated and deactivated, it was used for 3 days, but my bill shows heavy billing on those three days which were promised by airtel to be free are charged. Kindly take serious note of my mail as I am suffering mental agony heavily in the hands of airtel. I won't pay this amount as you can check my previous record. I will continue with airtel only if I get a waiver of Rs 600/- and an assurance from airtel that this will not happen again and again. I have lodged my complaint with airtel 121 also after my conversation with Mr. Deepak. My complaint number is 40565841

      We had already given disconnection letter to the Local airtel office for the above said number.
      We are not using this number no longer.

      i am kulwinder singh from mohali punjab i am using a internet broad band of airtel i always paid my bill on time. The company always send there`s excecutive to collect the bill but on that month they din`t send there excecutive and we some how din`t paid the bill. The company cut off the net at least for 1 month and then also i paid the bill with late fee and i also paid the bill of the month in which the net of not working. I cleared all the but after few days the excecutive called me and said that our bill is pending ,is it fare?

      I have been registering my compaints with my Mobile Service Provider (Bharti Airtel) regarding my bill. But they never bothered to give me any resolution. They are just hungry for the money. They are sending me the fake and false bills and when I ask for explanation they never answer.

      I have been over charged for the internet pacakage which is activated a pack of 150 rs for 500 mb 2G and 500 MB 3G services, when I have asked about it with the coustomer care exective they say that it is our mistake we will reduce from the bill and I have been charged for the Home remidies which is been activated with my mobile which is around 90 rs ruppes for this month even they have told me they will reduce. I have not yet received any message or mail from the concerned department for paying the bill the bill date is 27 hardly there are only 2 days to go if we dont pay on time they will charge more 100 rs for late pay.

      So I would like to tell the concerned department to look in to this issue.

      We don't know if there is any technical problem in your service, whenever we contact your office in THOOTHUKUDI NO response and couldn't get any information. From you Madras head office a person was appointed through THOOTHUKUDI branch to receive the bill amount at our door. But for the last 4 months nobody has come to collect the amount.         My phone and my airtel sim card is missing.I want to deactivate my sim card so that no one other than me can use that sim card
        I could not use connection around one month and deactivated the same. I approached customer care centres and they neglected to activate the number. They said again I cannot avail the number. Number is not assigned to anyone still I don't know what is the issue with airtel. My mob number is [protected]. I don't know why they want to revoke my connection and wanted to allot someone by troubling both the customers by getting or loosing unwanted calls and miscommunication..

          I have been using airtel landline-broadband-IPTV connection[protected] for almost two years.
          In the beginning the connection was working well but for the past one year I have been facing lot of problems relating to broadband and breakage of picture on IPTV. During this period, I made numerous complaints at the customer care number.I was assured of better connectivity every time I contacted them, but nothing worked out.

          I tried upgrading my plan to 4mbps plan (Rs.1699) for two months but the problem still persisted. So I reverted back to old plan (Rs.999) and requested for surrender of my connection on 23rd June 2012 under reference number 17641030.
          On 26th June I received a call from Airtel executive requesting me not to cancel the connection and assured me of better connectivity and 20% discount on my bills for a period of 3 months. I agreed to her proposal on the condition of giving it one last try.

          Two days thereafter I received a call from another executive informing that my request for 20% discount on the bills of next 3 months had been rejected. Meanwhile,the issues relating to connectivity too had not been resolved and I was totally fed up complaining again and again,I requested that my earlier request for cancellation of the connection be considered immediately, to which she replied that the same is open and will be taken care of by the concerned department.

          On 30th June 2012, I checked up with the customer care for the cancellation of my connection and it was informed to me that the earlier request stood cancelled and he was noting down fresh request and the connection will be disconnected by 7th July and even if the same is not disconnected I would not be charged any amount after 7th July 2012.

          On 7th July,2012, I spoke to one Gurfan Khan on customer care number and he told me that no request had been noted on 30th June 2012 and my request will be executed after 7 days from July 7, 2012.When I asked him to check all the records starting from 23rd June he reluctantly agreed to disconnect the connection and assured me that I would not be charged anything after 7th as promised to me earlier.When I asked him the reference number, he said that the original complaint was open and valid and hence no new number need be given.

          Still to be on safer side, I removed the telephone instrument,the modem etc on evening of 7th July 2012 and I went personally to Airtel office at Jagatpuri on Sunday 8th July to return all the equipment and clear the outstanding bill.The staff on duty refused to entertain my request saying that they dealt only with Mobile connections. I noted down the email of Mr.Manikanandan and his contact number from that showroom in case I needed to contact him.

          As if this was not enough, I received the worst shock of my life when I received SMS from AD-AIRSVC reading as under
          " Current Usage Alert! Usage on your airtel fixedline [protected] is Rs.3285. The amount has exceeded last 3 months usage pattern."

          My usage has never been so high since installation and such a highly inflated bill when the telephone instrument,modem and IPTV connection has been removed by me is highly improbable and clearly indicative of malpractices of sending false and inflated bills to consumers who are being cheated for having chosen Airtel.

          On 19th July, I tracked status of my complaint on Airtel site and discovered to my shock that that Provisioning related complaint dated 26th June stands closed on 2nd July 2012without my consent and there is no mention of any complaints made by me on subsequent days.
          The noting/non noting down the complaints/requests of the consumers is totally in the hands of Airtel staff and the consumers have no control over their actions.
          .
          On the same day, I received SMS from AD-AIRSVC asking me to pay Rs.1983/ due on 13th July 2012
          First of all it is not clear which of the two messages –one dated 16th or the other dated 19th July is correct as regards my usage.
          Secondly such a huge bill from 24th June 2012 (last billing) to 13th July2012 is absolutely impossible keeping in view the usage pattern for the past two years and the fact that I had removed telephone instrument and modem since 7th July 2012 . I had taken Rs.999/plan for unlimited broadband/IPTV/ and I use landline number very rarely.

          Thirdly, I should not be charged anything for the period beginning 7 days after the date of my request for surrender of the connection
          I have been trying to get in touch with Airtel authorities by calling at customer care number, visiting local office at Jagatpuri, sending mails to nodal officer Airtel, appellate authority at the addresses and telephone numbers mentioned at their showrooms and TRAI site, but these are either returned undelivered for want of wrong id or express that they deal only with mobile connections or digital TV
          I am feeling helpless as to whom to contact and protect myself from unwarranted billing and get my number disconnected.

MOHANAGHAT, DIBRUGARH (ASSAM). But with regret to inform you that I am not satisfied of service of this dealership because of the following reason & my time harrassment.
          1. I have done 1st & 2nd servicing. But when I have gone for 3rd servicing, they simply told that the date already passed. But when I told them that nobody inform me about my 3rd servicing than they told that they have no time to inform because they are very much busy to sell the new car.
          2. I am sufferring the problem of my steering & gear lever problem since june, 08 and I have visited not less than 15 times, but still the problem not rectified.
          I know very well the dealer service procedure because i am having One Maruti Baleno, Zen, Gypsy, One Fiat Palio, One Hundai Accent. So it is request to take the matter on top most priority so that my vehicle problem will be sort out as soon as possible.

          iptv — Billing after disconnection of IPTV

          I have been cheated by Aksh officials from the date of installation of IPTV connection. Various Complaints regarding non connectivity resulting non feature of TV programs have been lodged through phone but not even a single technician had turned up to my residence. Although atleast Rs. 500 - 1000 haven been spent on phone.
          Being feeling harrassed, application regarding withdrawing IPTV connection was submitted to MTNL vide O.B. No. 1038218 dated 04/04/2009 and was assured that IPTV billing would be reflected with immediate effect. But it was shocked to see May2009 MTNL bill having Rs. 199 against IPTV monthly charges. While visiting MTNL officials it was explained that until IPTV Hardware (Modem, Router) picked up by Aksh officials bill of Rs. 199 would regularly asked for payment.
          Under this circumstances I would like to convey the Authorities that complaint no. D/090610/10479 dated 11/06/2009 was made in Aksh wherein many telephonic calls have also made for request of pick up their instruments but matter is still vain.
          PLEASE HEP!!!

I have got a call from reliance life insurance custmer care from delhi ( no. is[protected] at 4.23 pm on dated 3/9/2011, regarding insurance policy, but i refuse it. After 6 minutes (4.29 pm) i got another call from[protected], i pick the phone and the person start abusing me for two minutes, I disconect the phone then he again call me at 4.31pm and again starting abusing. After that he again call 4-5 times me but i do not pick the phone. pls find the person and take action and inform me.

            Hi...this complaint is regarding billing problem of wi fi connection I've taken with airtel company.
            My land line no. Is [protected]. This was started with an unlimited plan of 1099 rs. Since past two and a half years(approx). Where I was getting a bill of rs.1350 or 1400 every month which was been paid on regular basis without any default. Now all of a sudden I receive a message saying your bill bill plan is exceeding ur regular bill limit three months back. When inquired I was told ma'am it is some non payment of one of the previous months which is been due ever since but I clarified dat none of my bills are pending. I was misguided for the FIRST TIME HERE. When next month I again received a bill of rs.2500plus I again clarified where I was told dat u have been using upgraded speed. I was not informed about the speed up gradation which was done by default. I told dem to switch my bill plan again to normal plan nd speed. I was told its been done from their side. This was the SECOND TIME I WAS MISGUIDED. I got two messages from the airtel company that from now on the speed limit is been reduced and my previous plan has been activated. Now again third month I'm receiving the bill of rs.5000 plus. Now i was told that speed cannot be reduced. Nobody is helping us out rather it is a harrassment recieving so many calls on ur end nd same story been repeated everytime.
            Now I want to request u guys please either disconnect my wi fi connection or take the payment of last three months as per my previous plan nd rather I would prefer i[censored] guys please disconnect. I'll be obliged. Else I will file a FIR against airtel for harassing us day in and out. Rather I'll also move to consumer court for the same. If I am wasting so much of time explaining it to ur call centre guys who actually cannot help us out rather than giving us mental pressure all the time for non payment. I instead move to court for some kind of settlement.
            I hope who so ever is the concerned person will look into the matter and try to solve in the interest of both the parties. Any action infavour will be appreciated.

            AirTel — False Billing complaints

            Hi,

            I, Avinash Barnwal - [protected], am tired of repetitive complaints to correct the wrong billing in my September 2008 bill. actually it is regarding 3 massive duration calls to the same number at the same time.

            How can I make 3 different calls to the same number at the same time. I requested to correct the billing 3 times before paying the September bill in part (as per Customer care), but to no avail. every time I call in the Customer care, they give me a new references number and say I would be called back in 5 or 7 days.
            But the Back end guy calling, just needs more information. I don't know how Airtel recruits these foolish people in back end when they cant understand the Customer complaint properly.

            When I received the October bill, then also my billing was not corrected. Since then I have logged another 3 complaints one by one with any resolution. Also, Foolishly or deliberately, the backend support, just closes the Tickets without any information to me, making me think they are working on the Ticket. I have made it clear this time to the Customer care, that I can not pay the bill until the false charges are reverted back.

            Now I am thinking of moving to the Consumer court for the harassment I am facing and as well as the repetitive calls to pay my bill.

            If Airtel senior management is reading this, please be aware that you are going to lose your customers like this only, and these backend guys are useless people employed by you.

            AirTel — false billing and false information

            i have taken airtel connection last year 2008.
            they have given me combo plan (dsl+landline).on feb 2009 i have given the application for disconnection of dsl temperoraly.but i want to continue with my landline.they have told me u just pay 180rs rental and ur landline will have incoming only.after 6 months i want to connect my dsl again.i mail to airtel that as guided by customer care.i asked them that my dsl will b continued with the same plan since im a old customer.they told me yes it willb continued as 499rs rental.
            complaint:when the generates bill they have charged me 4000rs extra.they have billed my dsl at 1rs/min.
            1.they have given me wrong information about the plan.
            2.they have told me that i will b continued with same combo plan
            3.they are forwarding my complaints,with wrong subjects in there customer care and complaints.
            they say that im denying that i have not use any dsl which is totaly wrong.
            I got my Airtel number converted from post paid to pre-paid after clearing the outstanding (as of date).
            Today I got a call from Airtel stating that there is some amout due in my post paid connection.
            I had cleared all the outstanding amount, my connection was converted to pre-paid only after that.
            Now Airtel is telling that they will disconnect my pre-paid unless I pay.
            This is in reference to my Airtel mobile ([protected] Acc No.[protected] bill dt. 07.10.2010 for Rs. 1199/- in which an exorbitant amount of Rs. 976/- (including tax) was shown against GPRS usage which I have never used.

            Most of the GPRS usage has been shown on 21.09.2010 (21:17 hrs) to 22.09.2010 (03:40 hrs) i.e on the night of 21.09.2010 only. Which I can assure that I never used (I have Airtel broadband at my home and would have preferred to use broadband rather than slow net internet connection from mobile)

            When I complained this to Airtel, they informed that there is no overcharge/excess billing.

            My average GPRS usage charges ranges between Rs. 30-40 pm and can be verified from my previous bills.

            Airtel has intentionally delayed the response to my mails. In reply to my earlier mails it was quoted by Airtel that mobile number of the customer is not given in the mail, whereas all details were available in the emails.

            As due date for the bill payment was 25.10.2010, I made a payment of Rs. 223/- on 24.10.2010 after deducting the excess charges of Rs. 976/ from the bill amount i.e. Rs. 1199/-.

            Now I am getting messages from Airtel that my bill is overdue and Rs. 976/- is pending against me.
            Request about falsely charging for premium number which has not been made from my telephone no. [protected], A/c No.15459039, as I are any of my family member do not know about any premium number. In this regard I had made a complaint to the customer care vide Request No.42682916 dated 04.02.2011 but no satisfactory response has been received, hence I have stopped the payment of bill no.[protected] dated 18.01.2011 till my grievance is solved.

            More than six month Airtel is doing fraud with its mobile consumers.

            Specially in 1 paise / second billing.

            I have airtel prepay connection.

            I call any local number i get a popup message

            Last call cost 0.08 INR, Call duration 00:00:07, balance 38.58 INR.

            As you can see for 7 second they charged 8 paise.

            and when i check same call in my call log

            Duration 00:00:06

            This means they have charged me almost 20% extra for this call.

            Thats all I wanted to inform my dear friends.

            AirTel has activated of 3G services in non-3G serviced areas by promotions through IVR and cancelling out any existing 2G discounted plans.

            They charged me ransom amount of 5800/- for GPRS usage for around 750 MBs of data.

            When asked for reason, they always made some framed answers and praised themselves as we have top class billing architecture and other reasons.

            They should not activate or intimate user first that this is ZERO Rental plan also i[censored]ser is trying to activate from Non 3G serviced zone, they MUST not activate it.

            Moving away from AirTel.
            Hi,

            I bought a new postpaid connection with plan 299/- Rs per month plan. And also, within two days, I activated 2GB GPRS plan of 98/- Rs per month. According to the plan, I have to 98/- Rs per month and I will be able to use 2GB of GPRS data without any extra cost.

            My first month GPRS usage was around 800 MB.But, in the bill, I got around 500/- Rs extra. I immediately spoke to customer care and it was corrected in few days.

            But, same thing happened in the 2nd month. This time, my usage was around 1.32 GB and the bill was around 9500/- !!!

            These are the exact things which happened in sequence:-

            1. 3rd March 2011 : Bought the number with plan 299/- Rs per month and 750 mins free std and local calls
            2. Around 10th March 2011 : Activated GPRS plan of 98/- Rs per month
            3. April 10th 2011 : Airtel deactivated my GPRS plan and activated 1 GB data usage plan without asking me and without notifying me!! This, I ultimately, got to know after getting the bill only
            4. May 3rd 2011 : I changed the plan to 199/- Rs Corporate plan
            5. May 10th 2011 : Airtel gave me bill of 9500/- Rs in which 6500/- was one time charge which is supposed to be the bill before May 3rd plan change
            6. May 12th 2011 : I started talking to customer support guys again for correcting the bill amount. Which is still going on without any progress.
            7. May 24th 2011 : I requested to reactivate 98/- Rs GPRS plan as I use more GPRS data
            8. May 27th 2011 : Airtel credited 2848.35/- to my account which was charged for GPRS usage after 4th of May 2011 in the new plan (The bill for 299/- plan for the duration of April 10 2011 to May 3rd 2011 is not corrected yet)


            Following is my question to Airtel:

            "I have bought the sim card on 3rd of March with 299/- Rs monthly plan. If you have an offer of 1 GB free data usage. You should have activated in the first month of purchase. Why did you activate it in the 2nd month that too without informing me and without my permission. Your free offer cost me 9000/- more than the actual bill."

            I have contacted customer care, nodal officers and appellate officers for the same for n number of times. Every time I call, they will say, they are trying to get the information from concerned department and will revert back in 2 days. And after 2 days, they will mail telling the charges are valid. I am getting sick of these guys. They always deviate the matter by giving stupid excuses and when I counter argue, they will not have an answer and they will say, we will get back in 2 days.

            Some guys deviate the matter by telling this happened because of plan change. How rental plan change to 199/- which happened on may will trigger the GPRS plan change in April?

            Some times they say, the GPRS 1 GB data usage is free and its not required to inform customers regarding the activation of same. I don't how it is legal to deactivate some plan which user has opted in that too without asking or informing the user.

            Again, I received another bill of 10000/- extra...

            I had been told by appellate officers that, I have 1GB of free data usage with effect from 3rd of May. They told me this, when I requested them to reactivate GPRS 98/- Rs plan after coming to know that, the plan was deactivated without my knowledge after 10th of May. I also have a mail from appellate mentioning the same.

            But, today, some other appellate office called me and told me that, it was false information and I have pay for the data usage which I had done for the time period of 10th May to 24th May (After 24th May, I reactivated the 98/- Rs GPRS plan). So, you guys are contradicting your own statements every now and then and billing me 10000 extra for each month.

            This is the third consecutive month where I am getting excessive bills. And your customer care doesn't understand my concern and doesn't even know what they are talking.

            I had enough of this. I will be going for consumer court. Will be meeting a lawyer by this weekend. You have last chance to rectify the false charges.

            1. You have increased my bill to 20000 and deducted 2848.35/- and you have been telling this as if you have done great favor to me.
            2. None of your officials have answered my following questions:-
            a) Why you guys deactivated my GPRS plan of monthly 98/- Rs without asking me and without notifying me on 10th April 2011.
            b) You guys initially sent me a mail and also informed me over phone that, I have 1 GB data free for 1 month starting from 3rd May 2011 and now you are contradicting the same by telling that, that was a false information given earlier and you guys have also apologised for the same. But still, you are not ready to deduct extra bill which caused due to your false information.

            I don't want your freindly service recovery guesture. I am ready to pay the correct bill amount. But, I am not ready to pay the excess bill which is caused due to your mistakes (not mine).

              I am an old prepaid customer of airtel.My number was [protected] and today my mobile is misplaced. I want to block my sim .I dont know why I cannot block this sim with my ID proof?? I called on the number the message the number you are trying is not reachable,please try after sometime and perhaps it is switched off.am I responsible if there is any misuse of my number??I just want to block it and the balance amount may please be transferred to my duplicate sim to be provided by the company.

                i am sanjiv dhawan from jalandhar i am an old subscriber for airtel mobile service . i got too much harassment by airtel . 1 st i do a recharge of rs 98 on 27-06-12 at 09.15 pm by tx id [protected] for internet pack and next day i am shocked when my balance is debit by rs 98 for internet pack when i call customer care they told we r helpless for that . another shock i got again on very next day again when i debit again 98 rs for internet pack on[protected]. after too many calls they register my complaint ( complaint no cbmo [protected] ) but no work on it . i am also register under dnd on dated 28-06-12 with request no [protected] but still got msg by airtel and one more surprise for me by airtel i got 20 rs debit today and got msg by airtel i got 20 rs debit daily for 7 days . So guys, beware from airtel if you are trying to switch to airtel because for one service they debit three times .

                  I have taken postpaid airtel number form one of airtel franchise name is Pace Cellular located in meera road 1.5 months before but still my number is not activated, regarding the same i was called that franchise couple of times but they didn't response me.
                  First they given me [protected] number and they told me number gets activated in 7 working days but after 10 days i call him number is not activated so they told me this number is allocated to another person so again they given another number [protected] but still number is not activated.

                  also i gave him RS 300/ for new Number.

                    I had ordered airtel digi tv on[protected] through on line from the telephonic conversation[protected] & [protected] at approx 2.00 pm to 2.18 pm) with Ismail, the Ismail send me a email from the mail id Deepak Soni Deepak.[protected]@vertexgroup.co.in indicaing a link http://web.shelltransource.com:8089/airtel/payment/index.php?bid=107518
                    and told me that deposit the amount Rs.2690 through internet banking. After that I deposited the amount Rs 2690 on[protected] at 2.15 pm, by insuring from Ismail (Airtel executive) that a connection of HD digi TV will be installed within 24 to 48 hours. After completing the 55 hours, I am very surprising that Airtel customer care did not make a single call or sms to me. Again I make a Call on[protected] at 11.59 am to customer care number[protected], another executive insured me that the new connection will be installed within 78 hours. Again I called on[protected] at 6.54 pm and[protected] at 6.20 pm to customer care each time airtel executive insured me that within 1 hour airtel higher executive officer contacts me. A important thing in whole scenario is that I repeatedly calling but airtel customer care never made a call with me.
                    During these efforts I got a sms “ Namaste! Thank you for choosing airtel digital tv. Your booking details are customer ID: [protected], Order no:2295301 pack name Ultra HD 1M …”
                    I know after that complains Airtel post a beautiful quote “This is to inform you that your concern has been noted and our team is working on a resolution. At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience faced by you. We will get in touch with you for further details of your concern as the need arises.”
                    Are you thinking that, can airtel customer care compensate my children’s feeling which they hoped with seeing hd picture quality as early as they insured? NEVER.
                    HERE I AM NOT DEMANDING ANY HELP. THIS IS ONLY FOR BEWARE FROM AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE OR AIRTEL PRESENCE (AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM) BHARTI AIRTEL LTD.

                      I have taken an Airtel broadband connection in last year (Dec 2011). I had taken Rs. 999 plan. After some time, I shift my rented room in last month (June 2012). So I applied for connection shifting and according to the (airtel) policy this connection should be shifted with in 5 days. For the status purpose I called approx every day. After 5th day they called, and said “we are working for the same please give me 1 day more time”. They called every day and told the same statement. In these days I lost my some work, so I got more lose these days. After 3 days I had applied disconnection request, because I had taken another service provider internet connection, for my work security. Form that day they called approx every day they asked same question. Question like- (what is the reason and all).
                      I per the customer care executive request, I had applied multiple times connection request. But the problem is same “Not possible”. I asked if it is not possible why you guys committed I’ll do this, but no reply. I told every time if not possible, please disconnect my connection and don’t call me for next time.
                      After this they are not stopping calls, one day I told if you guys are not sopping these confirmation calls, I will complained on consumer forum, but they are not stopping the call. Approx last 15 days they called 10-12 time for confirmation and I am fully frustrated. Through these calls I lost my work, my money, my time and with these type of mental harassment.
                      Finally I decided and mail to you.

                          I would like to bring to your notice that Airtel has been cheating their customers by activating GPRS or mobile internet by default and they start deduction money. I have been noticing that from my balance 10 paise is being deducted every now and then. When i spoke to customer care, they were not co-operating and speaking in a rude way. I was told that they provided these internet ( zero rental plan or whaterver) and GPRS by default and based on my mobile internet setting they deduct it by themselves. This is utter rubbish and cheating by a big telecom service provider. If a customer want to access internet through his mobile network, he would call and activate himself. But NO, these people activate by default and start looting money from his balance. This is open robbery as per me. They should be severely punished for these kind of technical robbery. I was a proud Airtel customer before for the kind of signal and clearity. But now im so dissapointed for their looting techniques.. and the Customer care representative are uncivilized and unethical people. They dont know how to talk and speak to a angry customer. I could have mentioned the name of the representative. But i do not want him to lose his job.. if at all this is being read and actions are taken based on this. ASHAMED to be a AIRTEL CUSTOMER.

                              AirTel — Prepaid recharge not done

                              My son paid Rs. 222/- for recharging his prepaid Airtel connection [protected] on 16th April evening in Hyderabad. He got a SMS saying it is recharged and paid the money. Next day(today) he sees that the money has not come to his mobile account. Customer care said that they have no record that recharge has been done. Today, 17th April 2010, the dealer (shopkeeper) where he has recharged, denied he knows about the recharge. Earlier, thinking everything about the recharge is fine, he deleted the sms about the recharge. Just to have the identification of the shopkeeper, he recharged the mobile again today for Rs. 222/- from the same shopkeeper and the recharge was fine. The message that came in sms reads like this:
                              RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL on[protected] at 02:34 PM. Talktime Rs. 222.00 TransID[protected].
                              I think he was clearly cheated of Rs. 222/-. Please look in it and retrieve the lost amount.

                                    can any body clarify whether the HD STB bought on offer (it came with Sony Led tv for Rs. 1750) from Airtel is your own property or of Airtel?
                                    By the way any STB bought for a certain price is your property or of the company?
                                    I didn't renew the subscription for a long time so they say that they've the right to confiscate the STB unless I renew since it's always a property of Airtel?

                                      Airtel is now becoming master in poor service and wrong billing, few weeks back
                                      one of my colleague was fighting for wrong billing and now its my turn.

                                      My Bill plan is 750 for 5 GB and I received bill of 4494 socking amount while
                                      with no much extra use. According to usage alert I used my 100% quota on 29th June 2012 and after that I used some MB data on 30th June and then no use of data card. According to plan I should receive 750+extra(maximum 10 MB) but received such huge amount which is totally rubbish.

                                      When I put them e-mail, customer support is simply says that they have verified and its not over billed while they don't have any answer to usage alert screenshot which I shared with them. I believe this is their policy to cheat customers who can't fight as they usually don't listen your concern. Moreover my credit limit is also 1400 and then how can bill grow up to more than 3 times of credit limit.

                                      Now my simple question is

                                      1: What is your credit limit means?
                                      2: Is your usage alert system bogus which gives garbage result and if yes then how can we trust your billing system
                                      3: Why this is happening so often(My Colleague also faced same issue)

                                      Now when I asked to disconnect my data card until this issue resolved then they says that I would have to first pay bill...........what the hell

                                      I have got the AIRTEL Connection sometimes in Apr-2007. And I had given standing instruction to AIRTEL to debit the telephone bill against my Credit Card. On 15-JUN-2007 the have debited 7053.52 on my Credit Card. But AIRTEL already debited the original bill for my mobile number prior to that. In a month they debited twice in my account. After several follow ups with AIRTEL I have not got any response. My credit Card belongs to ICICI. So I have approached ICICI telling that to which account they have credited money. Because this money 7053.52 was not showing against my Telephone number in AIRTEL side. On 08-JAN-2008 I have got the response from ICICI that this transactions belongs to you and I have to pay this money with interest on this amount. Can anybody guide me in this regard

                                      I am using lifetime prepaid connection([protected]) of airtel. i activated moblie to pc internet service from airtel. For this service i talked 4-5 customer care excutive for charges and how i will receive this services. They all tell me that only I have to Rs.599 monthly rentle and than surfing and downloading free for all month, not mentioned that it is not free for all sites.
                                      But when download some freeware application from different sites they charge me over hundred rupees. when i complained for that the airtel customer care excutives told me that it is understood that downloading is chargable except few sites, we do dont know which are there free sites.
                                      we request you to Airtel to refund my money back and please clearify there schemes, no hidden information please.

                                      The matter is that, me bought new SIM connection mobile no. [protected] form a dealer in Saharanpur (UPW) on 4th May (Monday) & submitted a photocopy of my Passport as photo ID & res address proof along a photograph on form duly signed...

                                      Me was to use this second connection for roaming in DELHI NCR (Gurgoan) to keep in contact with my mumma as me been admitted in hospital for some medical treatment & use Internet (Mobile Office) services to keep in touch with business mails etcetra.. so activated Mobile Office the very first day i started from my home town..

                                      Given this new number to Doctor / Local relatives & Else family members in home town

                                      & The problem start when on 8th May (Friday) me saw no tower signal (service) available & thought might be some temp connection error. BUT actually my services were terminated & me after called Airtel CC [protected] as STD call & explained & requested to pls start services asap & ws being told that my Signature on ph. copy if ID not matching with FORM of Airtel & so the officer i talked more than 15mins & they clearly denied that Services on your connection are terminated & wont be restored until fresh papers will be submitted. arghhh! is so annoying when some services being in so Important situation when mobile is more important than neccesity!!

                                      & the days past anyhow & after treatment & long stay in Gurgaan I came back & submitted fresh ~ a bit darker (same passport id) photocopy & connection was opened next day on 19th MAY &... THE MATTER MAKES SO AGRESSIVE TO CUSTOMER LIKE ME WHEN i check my balance & Rs. 180 ( 20Rs/day ) deducted for Mobile Ofiice for 9 days EVEN there were NO servic signal active on my cellfone ( that i NEVER ever could de activate OR got any prompt OR EVEN had signal ~tower on connection to send any message or command to Airtel server)

I visited the gallery saveral times but they did not activate that card.
                                      I refused to pay the bill of [protected] and after 2 bill its services were stopped. still i made the payment of the bill whatever was right according to me after adjusting my depostit kept with them. My services were stopped.

                                      Untill second evening if i see my total unbillied it wil be 1500/- but when they generate the bill on 3rd it will be 2000/-.
                                      I got 450 minutes of free calls.They start charging from 1st day.They give a explanation that free calls will be calculated only when the bill is generated.

And one of the agent called me and convinced me to take the sim back after 10 days of my cancellation. He never called me after that. By the month of May, another agent named Antic Anand called me and he handed over the sim to me. Once i used it after 10 days i was asked to pay the monthly rental for the month of March and April.                                       I want to attract your attention towards the issue of wrong billing for the month of june 2009. In this bill I had been charged Rs. 1900 (approx) for using ISD services. The call made is in the same number and the number is of Switzerland.

                                      My point of argument is that I had not made a single call from my number till date still I had been charged. In the month of June means before completion of my billing cycle which falls on 24th of every month I had contacted customer care more than 3 times regarding the complaint of excessive increase in unbilled amount but every time I got the answer that we are unable to do anything we can provide the answer only after the completion of billing cycle and also the executive said that there is nothing to worry every thing will be resolved.
                                      I said that if this doesnt stop you will ask me to make the payment for the same increased amount at that time they assured me this will not happen. But now I had been charged for the same.
                                      I continuously kept on asking for the increase in the amount but no one helped me at that time and now they are asking me to pay for that amount which I had not used for.

                                      i have an airtel landline connection in Bhopal.
                                      i had requested for disconnect my connection on 28 may through email.
                                      after that they called me for change my plan to 180/- (my current plan was 699/-). i refused this offer many time, but they told me to think again. after some days when they called me daily for change my connection to 180/-. i was agree to change my plan to 180/-. they give me an expected date for change my plan 4 june. but till 6 june my plan was not change. on that day i am fire a complaint against that they again give me an expected date 10 june. and i had used my plan 699/- and ask daily when will my plan will change?
                                      on 10 june i again asked for change my plan but they told me that my plan is 699/ active i am again used my 699/- facility. but on 11 june when i asked them about my plan change. they told me that it was already change on 10 june and they give me bill according to 180/- on 10 june. i just want they charged me on 10 june as per 699/- plan. so what i do???????

                                      I went to china for attending conference i bought calling card from Airtel service centre of Rs 500. I have dial code of china as mentioned in the card. The Airtel has charges double as my mobile has IDS but i have not used. I complaint to Airtel on 121 but they replied the bill is correct the bill is too much . My card has limitation i have used only that. In my Airtel bill they are showing same china code for international dialing i have to dial 00 then country code of India then residence number.                                       I have discontinued my Airtel connection and have been seeking refund from Airtel for the past 6 months or so, neither I have received my money back and on top of it they have debited my account again in June for a bill they have raised for May when the connections have been disconnected in mid April itself.

                                      I have always opted for advance rental plan of AIrtel. Everything was fine till Nov'08, when Airtel stopped sending monthly.bills. After long persuasion, they started sending the bill but with lot of additional charges levied e.g. late fee, itemization charge, etc. Till Oct'08, no charges were levied on account of itemization, i.e details of calls made. Also, this charge is not included in the bill of any other services like Vodafone & Idea, used by me.                                       The person I was dealing with is named 'Mr.Shadab' he could not satisfy me at all.On repeated request with him he only gave me false promises that he will give me a call and let me know the details,but he never informed me any thing ,he even ignored my calls on his mobile,only after giving him four to five calls he could answered my call and told me that he will let me know the details in 15 minutes.Which he never did.It was a show of poor customer relationship.

                                      This is in regards to my mobile number - [protected].

                                      A couple of months ago I called up customer care @ 121 and enquired to change my Bill Plan. Previously I was being billed fo Airtel 444 plan but the STD rates were Re. 1/- minute.
                                      I only have STD usage if you look into the billing history. Now that all the mobile service providers are providing 50 paise per minute, there is no sense that I should continue with
                                      Re. 1 per minute plan. So I spoke to one of your representative a couple of months ago and he advised me to go for Airtel Advantage 199 plan.

                                      He advised that I'll be getting 149 minutes free calls to all Airtel numbers (both STD and Local) but my last two months bill does not have any discount on the final charges. And due to
                                      this I have not paid my bills for Dec and Jan.

                                      Today again I spoke to one of your representative and she told me that it was only applicable on local charges and as I was incorrectly advised she will give me a waiver of Rs. 150/-
                                      on my outstanding bills. She also told me that she has arrange a Supervisor call within two hours from now to look into this matter.

                                      I am using airtel postpaid connection from the past one and half years and getting cheated by them from the 4th month of my usage. Not even a single month the service providers(Airtel) had sent me the bill properly and they use to charge me the late payment charges each and every month which i was calling to their customer care and used to get waived off.Now recently i come to know about the discrepency in my bill like repeatedly they have printed the outgoing calls for 3 to 4 times with certain duration which i had reported to the Airtel Customer Care. The CSE who spoke to me had told that this is because of Virus in my Mobile Handset. I am using the preloaded Antivirus handset and that is not at all a reason.. When ever i give a complaint against that the clever CSE's use to register the complaint as Customer Bill not recieved and they use to call me on daily basis which was irritating to me. I do have the complete track of my calls and i have been charged at least of 1500/- (One thousand Five Hundred Rs) more than my usage for 3 to 4 months. Previously regarding the same issue the airtel people themselves had given me the 500/- (Five Hundred Rs) of waiver. And now without any prior information or notice to me they have withdrew my services also without giving clarrification to my complaint. So please help me regarding this complaint. I am also ready to raise a complaint against them in the Court of Justice also.

Without my permission Airtel has started sending me Jokes that too on chargable basis I asked Airtel to stop sending jokes. My request was not accepted stating the reason that I have not subscribed for jokes.This has resulted in wasting my hours .Airtel email id is also not easily available .It took several hours to write to airtel.Hence I request Airtel to send me ch. of Rs.500000/- for harrassing me for no reason and wasting my time . I request confirmation for action bty Airtel within a day else I am approachong media and consumer court. I have also opted for DND and these unwanted jokes are disturbing me .

                                      Airtel has billed 9500Rs for GPRS which is not activated on my number [protected] and their collection executives are harassing us to pay the amount they are also randomly calling all the numbers that are dialed from my number and telling them that we have not paid the bill. Using the customer details is an offence as per the agreement signed. We need help on this.
                                      1. Do not blame yourself. Let them do whatever they want to do and stand in your point
                                      2. This happens all because of our POOR Government, public don't have right's to speek
                                      3. We are in the stone age while other country are in Computer age.

                                      This has happen to me with Reliance BroadBand connection, i tell them do whatever you have to do and i will wait for your action, because i know my rights and i know what i have to do in a timely manner.

                                      Airtel mobile service provider — Extra / Wrong Billing

                                      This is with reference to my complained logged with Airtel for wrong mobile phone billing

                                      I changed my plan in the month of december 2009 from 399 to 249.

                                      So i should get charged according to the new plan of 249. But they charged me with the previous plan of 399 for the month of january 2010. After lodging a complaint they adjusted my bill.

                                      Again in february 2010 they charged me according to 399 plan.

                                      This shows that they have not updated their systems with the customer requirements.

                                      I have asked them to send me the adjusted bill by today evening. But they did not send it. They just sent me an SMS stating the amount is adjusted.

                                      This does not solve my problem which i specified when i made the complaint with the call center executive and the mail i wrote to them while logging the complaint.

                                      Since i am a general public, request to campaign this problem and create awareness among the mobile users, so that many other customers can be saved of their money, which the service provider is using.


                                      Airtel is taking all complaints from customer for granted and god knows how many crores of customers airtel would have cheated till now to increase income profit.


                                      Hardly any corporate customer whose bills are reimbursed by the employee would look at his bill to pay, because he is getting reimbursed the whole amount and out of this Airtel is bagging profits and cheating on those customers blindly.


                                      The company assumption is that the customer is given the adjustment for one bill so airtel can start on cheating from the second bill onwards untill the customer gets to see the amount difference again. And if caught say sorry and adjust the amount.

                                      On the 09th of March 2010 i had plcaed a request with your call centre[protected]&[protected] regarding changing my bill plan to your freedom plan and actvating the Unlimited SMS pack for both my nuumbers([protected],[protected]).Your executive confirmed to me that she was taking the requests for subsequnet change of plan.
                                      However on recipt of the bills i had got an amount quite high and dispropotionate to my usage. Onmy enquiry with your call centre and after several call transfers my call wastransfered to one Assistant manager by name Mr.Arun Prakash.
                                      He informed me that my request for the freedom plan and unlimited SMS was executed and reversed as both the plans could not be clubbed.
                                      He also told me that though i was on the freedom plan all my SMS's were being charged as there was no topping opted for.
                                      This is simply outrageous as you first commit something that is wrong and then reverse it on your own without intimating the customer as to what you want.
                                      My numbers have been charged on all sms's sent.
                                      I Iimmediately wanted a reversal to the older planor be given what was promised to me.
                                      Mr Arun Prakash([protected]) promised to give me what was commited as ibelonged to a CUG which belongs to my old employer.This conversation happenedin the morrning.
                                      By the time i reached office i got a confirmation call on the activation of freedom planbut not the SMS pack.
                                      I thenwent to you Beasant nagar show room and met Mr.Nithyananda and he helped me get a better plan from what ihad.
                                      I however have been charged for all my SMS's in my previous plan and want the same to be reversed as its not my fault .
                                      I had subsequently called and checked on the status of my charges reversal for which the Call centre executive erroneously changed the bill paln instead of reversal.
                                      Though that mistake has been rectified the reversal as such has not happened.
                                      Kindly note the call centre executive had had commited to the change of plan and had reversed the same without notifying me.Besides who gives you the authority to change my plan without my request.
                                      Beyond everything a senior official in the company has given me (Mr.Arun Prakash) had commited on the reversal and has ever since been missing.However the presence of such a person in the organisation has been validated time and again by call centre executives.
                                      I am a customer of yours for the last 6 years.Please reverse the charges or am taking up the matter with consumer court.

                                      I have a post paid connection of Airtel. Recently Airtel have launched a offer for unlimited Mobile internet at Rs. 98/month. In which they have also mentioned with ** marks that it will be on "Fair usuage Policy. You can browse upto 2 GB per month". so i activated this service on my number. But as i saw my current bill, they have charged me about Rs.804 for GPRS usuage. When i contacted customer care they told me that my unlimited internet service is active but i have done internet access throug Airtel live and not through WAP browsing. This offer is valid only on WAP browsing. As in my mobile i have an icon of internet through which i was using the services, now the GPRS settings are always sent by the service provider and they have set AIRTEL LIVE as the default gateway for internet browsing, which i didn't know and neither is being informed by the service provider. And now the customer care executive is telling me that they can give me Rs. 160 discount as goodwill. Kindly Suggest what should i do.

                                      Myself Amit Sikka.My complaint is regarding Airtel broadband services as they wrongly changed my tarriff plan and sent a huge bill. My plan was for unlimited download and they changed it to limited download.

                                      I am using airtel broadband dsl connection for past
                                      one year. Every month I receive a bill of 992 rs. Last month I switched
                                      my plan to Impatience 899 unlimited plan. Airtel executive instead changed
                                      my plan to Impatience 899 limited plan . I was called once for
                                      confirmation of plan change where in that call I was clearly told my new
                                      plan would be unlimited plan . I myself clarified more than once that
                                      plan is unlimited. Now suddenly I receive this month bill as 5415 Rs.
                                      Now I am being told that my plan is actually limited plan.
                                      I called up airtel customer care and requested them to correct this
                                      mistake and show me any proof that I asked for limited plan but they are
                                      unable to do so. I wrote them multiple times but everytime is receive same automated respose.

                                      requirement is huge so it will never be logical for me to go for limited

                                      I was overseas in Tajikistan from June 4, 2010 to June 12, 2010 (find attached scanned copy of my boarding pass) even after I came back to Bangalore on the 12th of June I was getting messages indicating that my phone was still on roaming.

                                      Therefore on 16th June 2010, I went to the Bannerghatta Road Airtel Office and through their hotline talked to one NEVEEN at 4.10 PM and informed him that though I am back in India my phone is still connected to roaming facility. Naveen assured me that the complaint has been taken and suiatable action will be taken.

                                      I got a bill for Rs 27000=00 which I am yet to pay as the phone is shockingly still on roaming connection.

                                      On 28th July 2010, I got a call from [protected], the lady informed me that my dues are around Rs 40000. When I enquired as to how they have arrived at the figure, they asked me if I was still overseas. I had to tell them that I am back in India from June 12th onwards. Then they asked me, believe it or not, if I had also gone to Babylon. I was also told that I need to pay up the Rs 40000/= or my phone will be disconnected.

                                      I had made a complaint 43062334 regarding wrong generation of bills for the past 5 years which I discovered incidently last month. The airtel customer care is useless and they don't have common sense to understand the real issue and keep on responding with scrap mails and useless calls. The sample of some of the mails is given below and I am really frustrated by the customer care executives.

                                      They just waste your time (in hours) and at last when you try to make them understand the problem, they just disconnect the line.

                                      part of free usage. I have done a random check of previous bills as well

                                      Shockingly, it seems that there would be problem in the bills which

                                      correct the old bills. Nobody has called me and discussed the issue even
                                      after assuring that the problem would be resolved within 24 hrs.



                                      It is quite shameful for such a big company to generate wrong bills and
                                      then refuse to correct them!!



                                      Resolve this issue ASAP and correct all the old bills of past 5 years
                                      and credit the extra amount charged along with the interest.

                                      I had disconnected this in January (around 25th January) due to wrong
                                      billing plan migration. This was acknowledged by Airtel call center,
                                      including having about 10 calls from the retention team and 2 visits

In their bill dt 3 Ot 2010, they had charged me erroneously for the night downloading period. It was protested by me and they had apologised and informed me the correct bill amount. The mistake was repeated again, the very next month. In spite of my protest, they did not refund the excess amount collected from me through ECS, and I had to wait for one more month to adjust the excess amount collected.

                                      The bill dated 3 Mar 2011 was wrong again and this time 73 out of 100 entries were wrong and I was charged four times my average monthly bill amount. Repeated complaint from me from 12 Mar till now (1 April) through phone calls & e mails have gone in vain. Three days back I received a mail curtly stating that there was nothing wrong in their billing, without answering any of my points.

                                      On subsequent conversation over phone, I understand that they have not included the night services in the profile of mine, maintained by them. They are yet to clarify as to why an existing service was disrupted and why I was charged for the night usage, nor they have informed me the actual amount to be paid. There is no response beyond "we will call you back" (which they never did) even from their Nodal office and Appellate, to whom I have forwarded all my mail with regard to my complaint

I even though requested them to raise a discount on remaming amount and asked to settle down my account and close it. total excess billing was approx 3000/-. PLZ settle down the issue as soon as possible.

                                      On 17th April 2011 I subscribed to a 2G internet pack of Rs. 10 which offered me a 100MB o[censored]sage for 1 day. I got the confirmation message at 1:21 p.m. and then I reseted my Internet Usage meter(LOG option) in my mobile to "0" (zero) Then I started using internet. At first I tried to check and I used a few MB's which cutted balance from my main account. But I neglected it. And then till 1:41 I used 20 MB's of data and then I recieved a message that I have 0.00 MB left and Rs. 0.00 left. Please check this.

                                      I would like to mention that they had just returned me my Rs. 45 in such type of case only and I did went to customer care about it but every time I tried to connect they gave me a message like to know balance call........ and I fell like they're teasing me.                                       i have not received my airtel mobile bill since last eight months. Even though I have submitted my change of address. I am getting exorbitant huge bills every month. I am scarcely using it for incoming call only. I do not understand what sort of charges they are levying without giving me the bill for the amount since last eight months. Every time, their courier company ask for address to post the bill unfortunately the bill never arrives. This is total apathy of telecom provider. Also, in my inbox I got a message that you have got Rs. 47 and thank you for subscribing 30 min. pack that I have not subscribed. Just stop making me fool!
                                      Even though you promised quick resolution, none of your support person yet to call me to resolve the issue. I will be constrained to take strict legal remedies and write to communication minister Kapil Sibal. Either you refund my money or face court action.
                                      still the issue is pending with you. Nobody called me so far to address my problem since my last complaint. Kindly refund or reimburse my faulty billing without giving me a hard copy bill since last eight months which is against the principle of business.

                                      I am yet to receive this month Bill, it is totally atrocious lethargic attitude of the AIRTEL management. They have to face the legal tangle unless and until they refund my 8th months bill amount for non-compliance. They are not giving the details of bills, but charging me for the payment, because it is ECS they are getting my payment easily. I am daring AIRTEL to take action, otherwise, I will write a strong letter to Kapil Sibel, Sunil Mittal, TRAI for not adhering to customer complaint in time.

                                      : As I was in the process of moving out of the above said rented premises , I made a call to Airtel customer care asking them to disconnect the landline and broadband connection. After repeated calls from me , they kept insisting not to disconnect the line . After trying a lot and expressing discontent I got a Complaint no #741102 from a representative named Ankita and she said that my connection is disabled form March 24 ,2011 onwards .Since then the landline is disconnected and so is the broad band connection. But, I am still getting calls to reinstate the services and I continuously tell them to pick up the land line and broad band instruments, but no one is doing it , not even registering the complaint. And yesterday Apr 29, 2011, I got bill of Rs. 473 (Account no .[protected] for the month of April, for the for the connection, which has been long disconnected.
                                      i have complained for the last 10 plus month for non-receipt of my mobile bills even though I am paying out of ECS (ICICI bank). Airtel not bother to send me bill for the last 11 months. They should be penalized.
                                      I have a connection of Airtel Fixed line + Broad Band from 4 months. At the time of installation I saw the billing charges and instrument mrp slip was quite different. I said to representative about this but he said if you want take other wise leave. I could not understand this thing because legally no one can take extra amount . Who will monitor this wrong activities.

                                      I have been receiving assurance from you time and again no perceptible action at your end. I am one of the esteemed valued first customer of airtel Chennai broadband remember this?
                                      you have to give the benefit of doubt and non-compliance favouring the customer in this question. One should not take money without giving the bill is an offense and may be construed as bribe. As we are witnessing more and more news from telecom scandle? Kindly reverse the charges for the last 12 months which is tantamount to taking my money through ECS without giving invoices, as per our Income Tax rule prohibit money laundering without showing invoices to the service provider as good as scam .
                                      till date there is no solution. complaints is on paper, no action taken by airtel management. Let me escalate to consumer court and redress.
                                      I am a user of airtel mobile services for the past 8 years and broadband services for the past 5 years. this complaint is regarding airtel broadband in one of my offices in hyderabad. We requested for change of address on 4th Nov-10. Airtel people checked the new location and said the services are not available there. I requested for disconnection as we are vacating current premises. On Nov 5th, they de-activated the connection. We moved to new location on 5th Nov 2010.
                                      However, they continued to generate the bill till Jan-11. During this period we kept complaining about the same. They stopped billing after that but started pestering us for paying the bills of dec-10 and Jan2011. After numerous calls, the legal department (Hyderabad), the technical department and myself had a conference call. The technical department person, after verifying the logs, informed me that they re-activated our account on 8th Nov-2011. Hence the bills were generated. the legal department woman was adamant that ~2500 inr is due and the bill has to be settled.
                                      My repeated mails/ requests to the service department, ombudsman failed to elicit any response.
                                      After further discussion, she agreed to settle for 500 inr as final settlement. She asked me to pay the amount to their billing person and later she will send the no dues certificate. Their representative and I paid the amount in April-2011 (Big mistake). With in couple of weeks their legal department from Calcutta called me asking to pay ~2000 or else face legal consequences. Needless to say I was shocked and asked them to go ahead. In third week of jun-11, I got a call from their legal arbitrator/ Delhi saying that they intend to sue me in delhi and explained the costs of visiting/legal expenses would exceed the 1800 so why not pay up. I asked him to go ahead with the process. Then i had a discussion with my lawyer. He said it might cost 6~7000 to defend but my time will be wasted a lot. Also, it seems Airtel is "trying to take revenge" by filing a case in delhi to harass so they might focus on troubling you a lot. Though I was willing to fight for the cause, the costs seem unjustified. Hence as per his advise, talked to the arbitrator and settled the dues .
                                      While I like their service quality, I realised their behavior borders on intimidation/coercion. I feel like i have paid a bribe to save my time. Hopefully i will find a way to recover this money one way or the other in future. Meanwhile, I have decided to "say no to airtel" for rest of my life. We are moving personal/ business communications other service providers. Better to go to a low service provider rather than over pay to a behemoth whose behavior borders on thuggery. Atleast, i will reduce their revenue by 10000 inr/ month (thats what we pay to airtel for various services)

Your company has resorted to legal black mail by saying that you will file a case in delhi high court, when I have availed your services all along in hyderabad. "Sir after the case you may pay or not..but aap ka lawyer expenses our travel expenses to is se jaada hi hogaa"..Indicating that the intention was of a harassment.

                                      You take my details. Generate a wrong bill or say that there are dues stll pending..or even say that I have abused your staff when they called from your calcutta call office and a file a case in calcutta. Then harass me for the next 2 years??

                                      In my 12 year career i have seen so many crooks and unethical organizations. What surprises me is the "insanity" of troubling your loyal customer and screwing him..

                                      airtel telecom service — Not received billed amount

                                      I migrated my airtel mobile[protected] from postpaid to prepaid. At that time they asked me to pay complete unbilled amount. After generation of my bill the extra amount which i have paid that will get refunded to my account. However i didn't got any amount yet.
                                      Later i contacted to customer care they told me that i will receive this amount via cheque within 60 days.
                                      Still i didn't received any cheque. as already 60 days over.
                                      I don't wanted to continue with the airtel service. wanted to switch to other operator. however still airtel customer care saying that we can not migrate to other service provider within 60 days after migration to prepaid.

                                      This really sucks ...
                                      This is with reference to airtel billing account no.[protected] bill no.[protected] mobile no. [protected]. I am using airtel GPRS pack (Rs.98 2 GB pack). Till last month the billing was ok. This month i got a bill of Rs.8185.7 telling me that i have used more than 2GB (2534771 units). I have a counter in mobile. As per my knowledge i have used 1.86GB. In the month of June, I have used 1.97 GB for which the bill shows only 814404 units. I am using the same number for the last 4 years. I have taken 1 more number also from Airtel. But i was not offered any offers. When i applied for portability to reliance they gave me some offers. I didnt accept and they cancelled my portability application.

                                      Wrong billing happened for me 4 years back when i shifted from prepaid to postpaid and they issued waiver after i proved that i was their mistake.

Last week I received a DD from Airtel for the refund of my deposit which was Rs 6000, from which they have deducted Rs 711 as "outstanding dues". This amounts to fraudulent billing since I closed my account prior to making the final payment. Apparently, others I know have had false bills sent by airtel after closing their account.
                                      My name is S. B. krishna. I am an Airtel postpaid user with mobile No. [protected]. In my bill for November 2011, Rs.360.00 has been added under the head rent for GPRS from[protected] to[protected]. This has been charged 2 Rs.140.00 per week.

                                      However, I have not opted for the said service. I received the SMS on[protected] stating that GPRS has been activated and I have to send SMS DEACT 140 to deactivate. I Propmtly sent said SMS on[protected].

                                      Why did the company inform me immediately after activating the GPRS service? Why GPRS was activated without my knowledge and consent? Why did the company inform me after activating and also deactivating the service? Please note GPRS has been stopped as on[protected] and I received the message of activation only on[protected] i.e. after even the deactivation was also done on[protected].

                                      My account has been unnecessarily charged by Rs.360.00 besides taxes on the same.

                                      Please ask the company the correct my bill for November 2011 and send me corrected copy to me and Standard Chartered bank since I am paying the bill amount through my credit card issued by the said bank.

                                      This is Venkatram Reddy Punnam with mobile number +91 [protected] ( [protected]@yahoo.com ) an Airtel customer for the past 12 years, and I am availing the GPRS since past four years on rental package of Rs. 200 for 1000mb every month and I never exceeded my limit all these years and four months back I have changed my package to with new offer i.e. Rs. 98 rental with 2 GB free. Recently I have received an SMS on[protected] asking me to pay a bill amount of Rs. 7189.59 and when contacted the customer care centre they said that I have used GPRS services worth more than Rs. 28000 and I was been given a discount of Rs 21000 ( with out any request from me and information )and now that I need to pay the bill amount. I was shocked at this as I am sure that I have not used or surfed beyond the limit and I feel this is true sense of cheating form Airtel. I have complained to the Nodal Officer and also the Appelite authority and all the where I am getting the same information and advice to pay the bill as claimed by the Airtel.

                                      This is not the first time and I also not the first person to get this treatment and recently also I have read about such similar bills in the local news papers and I personally know people and incidents of similar nature and all of them ended up paying the bills which were not really used.

                                      I request you to take my complaint and do justice to me and also take firm and hard action against those service providers who are cheating the general public money by claiming false bills.

                                      I had migrated from my Airtel Prepaid to Postpaid. It was a plan in which i had to pay Rs. 499 in advance and for 6 months there would be no bill. I was assigned 100 SMS and 3000 sec free every month in this plan. If my usage was more than these free assigned then there would be a bill of 1.2 paise per sec and .50 paise per sms. However the very first bill after 6 days of portability was Rs. 701.32. This bill was from 24/3/12 to 1/4/12. hope this thing gets sorted out fast. I dont know what the problem is.

                                      I have been using a airtel services for mobile phone for one year now and my monthly bill on an average has been Rs[protected] maximum. Last month while talking to a customer care executive I enquired if I could get a plan for better STD rates and SMSs as my family is from out of town. He suggested a plan for min 499 per month and I asked him what about GPRS as I have a a smart phone and use it for basic mail chacking purposes etc. He told me I could go ahead with the old plan for GPRS as I am used to that. I agree and went ahead.

                                      This month my bill has come to Rs 8500!!!! I am shocked and have complained and tried to explain this several times to the people at airtel who keep repeating the same thing about "Sorry your new plan is this and thus your charges are more" My usage has not incleased 4 times in a month and now I am being FORCED to pay Rs 7000 extra for a customer care executive's mistake!!!! This is JUST UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I have complained to them several times but they are going on billing me!

                                      Pls help me as I feel this is just not fair!

                                      The complain is about non auto Renewal of GPRS pack because of which lots of money got deducted from my Account. I had subscribe to the GPRS pack during month of May 2011, the pack got renewed for 6 months ( no message was sent to me but it used to get renewed). Suddenly during the month of December 2011 it didn't get renewed. Large amounts were getting deducted from my account. When I wrote to customer care they said that there is no undue deduction of amount. On my pestering a consumer executive called and she confirmed that the deductions were on account of GPRS. Again while pursuing the matter with them they confirmed that it was because of a technical glitch from their side that these sums got deducted. Now I told them to return additional sums as the deduction was because of their fault. No replies from them. Wrote to nodal office, they just kept matter pending. Then wrote to appellate , they forwarded the mail to Nodal . Executive from Nodal office then called and tried to settle the case for a sum of Rs. 200/- On my refusal they just kept silent. Wrote again to Apellate, mail again forwarded to Nodal office . Again executive called , had to repeat to her the entire episode , she kept on blaming me that I was late in complaining without realizing that I am constant writing to them for last 3 months. She promised to get back with redress. No news till date of writing this .

                                      Seems these executives are going to doom Airtel . Management does try to enforce quality control but employees never seem to care.
                                      Airtel is loosing its name, it was known for its services & nowdays it i spathatic.

                                      I have airtel mobile with 3G connection & they have given me bill in april 2012 which is showing wrong billing.

                                      In my bill their are two data usags shown at same instance of time.

                                      Have been writting numerous mail to Airtel customer care applet RJ but their is no response since past 2 months.

                                      The company is totally not supporting in resolving customer issues.

                                      Many time they say that my no is not reachable.

                                      Have provided my alternate no [protected] to them but still their is no response.

                                      Hoping the company will help to resolve the issue on priority.

                                        My airtel prepaid no [protected] using last-.4 years and i not started any Value add serviced , but this month with out any information how to start value add serviced , and u r company deduct my money and u r customer care also told we r not able to refund u , this is not a good job.

                                        So i want my money refund and don't start any value add services in my number........
