I have tried pursuing this issue with your esteemed company many times and have even tried to contact the nodal center 3 times but have gotten no response. I hope that your company will keep on ignoring me and I can make the world know how after becoming market leaders you people are taking customers for granted.

This is to inform you that I was conned by some fraud who used the name of your company. This is only possible if someone from within leaked the info that I was looking for a connection. So much for quality experience.

This happened on January 2011, when I wrote this mail.

I reside in sector-51 in noida and airtel has reently started it's broadband services in this area. But i was constantly querying Airtel as I wanted to know when they will start broadband services in this area. I raised an online ticket about the same and was contacted by a guy named NAVAL who claimed to be the representative of Airtel. He came to my house and explained me about all the plans. Since he had in-depth knowledge of the system I trusted him and asked hime to set me up for a connection. He took 4200 rs from me ( 1700 for broadband and rest for iPTV). However after various calls to him and no response , I knew that i was duped. I called up the Airtel centre in sec-50 and they had no knowledge about the person. I called up the Airtel Nodal officer-NCR and somebody contacted me and gave me a ticket number. She also said that i will be sent a list of probable suspects with photographs. But I have received none. I also raised an FIR with noida police but nothing happened.

I gradually lost interest in the case. But i recently learned from newspaper that some guys were captured in Delhi who had duped a no of people with the same methodology. I would like to raise the same issue again with you people and would like to help identify the culprits. I don't know what is the policy of police or airtel about recovering money from the culprits would like to know the possibility of the same.

I am also sendig details about the culprit :
NAVAL, around 5'5-5'7 inches, wheatish, average built. He told me that he stayed near Malviya Nagar in Delhi. The phone nos he used to contact me are [protected] and [protected].

    Hi,

    I have taken a connection of Airtel DTH for my parents in Chennai. The Consumer number is Consumer NO: [protected]

    For the past 15 days, there is no reception - instead it gives an error code: 4.

    I have complained to Airtel by email and by phone 5 times already. There is NO reply from them. The problem still continues.

    I am going to sue Airtel for pathetic and negligent consumer service.

    We had Tata Sky earlier and there were zero complaints - we shifted to Airtel only because Tata Sky does not include any Christian channels.

    Do let us know how we can take Airtel to court for billing us each day and not providing the required service to fix the problem.

    Stay away from Airtel DTH. Airtel is a company with PATHETIC Consumer service - the term consumer service does not exist in their dictionary.

      It came to my knowledge that call is from Pakistan. Although i also missed the call, but i am concerned about how did the calling person got my number. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter.

        kindly refund an amount of Rs.100/- which was recharged through justrecharge.in on 5/8/2012through sbi online but it was failed due to some technical error.

        actually by mistake i got recharged of Rs 128 on dec 1st 2010 for which i received balance of Rs1.00.

        (the offer of full talk time was available till 30th of november.)
        so i asked the customer care to refund the amount.
        but they said there is no provision as such.

        but there had been occasion when airtel has activatedd caller tune services without my permission but after my complaints they have refunded the deducted amount.
        If this is possible why not my mistake can't be refunded,after all why should i pay for which i am not getting any service.
        we are human beings and some times mistakes do happen.
        Please take action as soon as possible.

          The following phone numbers have been calling me for the past three months evry day from the following numbers. I have not subscribed to their network. I am on th DND list. I have complained to my service provider, Vodaphone about these calls but they were not able to do anything.
          The calls are automated and these are the numbers.[protected],[protected],[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].
          Is it possible to dstop these calls?

            I am a user of air tel dish TV and my customer id is [protected].in July 2012 air tel customer care called me and provide information regarding connection migration they said our engineer will do free visit and do the needful but no one come due to connection migration i am able to watch 30% channels which i have already paid .after that i have called air tel costumer care so many time they register my complaint and said that your problem will resolve with in 1st Aug but till date its not done. Truly very bad service.

            DishTv Satellite Connection — payment.

            I am a customer of Dish tv satellite connection from May 2008, my subscription's first reneual fell in the month of March 2009. I went to a nearby dishtv dealer and paid the reneual for next six months(Rs.1, 800)- he gave me a cash memo with his shop's seal as receipt; but he partially paid Rs.700/ instead of Rs.1800 as my reneual to the dishtv.

            This dealer in our area has cheated many o[censored]s like this and one fine night, with all the money he had collected like this, he ran away with his family shifting his rented residence and shop.

            Now, when I gave these details to Dish tv and requested them to inquire into the matter, they reply me that they have nothing to do with this issue, I have to handle it on my own. Now tell me What I can do to get back my Rs.1100.; Is this fair on part of Dish tv to answer an end customer...the customer has not paid the money to some Tom, Dick or harry but to a dealer who had an authorised nameboard saying he is the dish tv dealer.

              hey i am "sonu" harpreet's friend. i just want to convey you that the broadband that was working in phase 11 in #650A was cutted just beacuse of the missunderstanding of the bill payment which was once given by harpreet singh but it was sent twice in one mounth so it was paid by him beacuse he had gone out of country and the exact amount of the bill was around rs 2600 after useage but they sent the bill with the amount of rs 3600 which is unfair soo i want that the exact amount should be sent to clear out the outstanding bill.

                Dear Sir,
                I registered as for DND service activation in the month of April 2012, airtel confirmed that dnd service will be active within 7 days, but still i'm been harassed by sms of telemarketers. Every time when i receive these non-sense sms, my blood pressure shoots up. Kindly request you to intervene in the matter. Most of the time these sms interrupt my calls and call gets disconnected.
                please find below sms i took up with airtel, simply inform me that they have issued show cause to the telemarketers.

                I do hope that you would help me to get rid of these non-sense sms.

                Airtel — No.of sms messages from AV-Promo

                I have taken Air Tel connection for my mobile and my Mobile No. is [protected]. I get not less than twenty(20) messages from AV-PROMO every day that keeps on disturbing me.

                Reliance Communications — i am DND customer still i ' m getting promotional sms from telemarketers

                I am getting promotional msgs form telemarketer's on my mobile number [protected] kindly stop and take necessary actions against that telemarketer...
                You have done a great job venkat, but still many o[censored]s are facing the same torture day to day even if we are registered with DND. I can feel the pain you are experiencing from your complaint itself by spending your precious time in it.

                Even i did the same a couple of months ago, it all in vain.

                The Real scenario is The Tele Marketers are buying a connection from a Operator and sending rubbish sms to our kind of people and hardly less than1% o[censored]s will make a complaint. Then the Operator will issue show cause notice or any proceedings to the tele marketer. then the tele marketer simply throw away the old number and buy a new number and repeat the same thing for ever.

                Kindly Note that Telecom Operator are giving as much of number to these guys one after other after disconnecting, cos its money for them (They can advertise stating We are the No 1 in India with X no of Connection"", but how many connection are LIVE), as they can simply say that "That particular no was dis-connected or punished or something " Do they really punish that person ? Never and they wont for ever.

                The solution for this which came to my mind is Only TRAI can abolish this kind of newsense by 1) Getting the Info of the Tele- Marketer with Whom the Complaint was Lodged and issue That person Details to all Telecom Providers and Initiate not to provide any further connection to that particular identity and collect a Huge fine if possible and list down the details in Trai own website. 2) To collect a Huge Fine from the Operators if they provide connection to the One who was already in Hit -List.

                If you have anyother options kindly add up or modify, overall im on your side experiencing the same Pain till now.

                    Hi,

                    I had bought an Airtel 3G dongle few months back with data card number [protected].
                    I used it continuously for 4-5 month with monthly recharge of 750 rs. But in last 2-3 months i did not make any recharge on it. And when again on 22 July2012 I recharged it with 950 rs unlimited internet plan, It got successful and money deducted from retailer account. But there was no connection in my dongle.
                    I called to customer care and they told me that my datacard has been deleted.
                    I don't understand how my number get deleted and then how my recharge got successful.
                    And where my money went?

                    When I went to airtel relationship center they behaved very rudely and told me that I have to forget about it and will not be getting any money refund from airtel.
                    This is very surprizing, I was thinking airtel is india's top telecom company.

                    Please let me know if I can get my money back since I had no information about this number deletion policy.

                      Dish TV — Poor Service, No Signal

                      I have been having problems with my set box box and viewing card all of a sudden. Dish customer care tells me to change the STB and VC, very funny. plus suddenly there's no signal. in a nutshell for the past two weeks i get to see the TV sometimes only and other times it behaves the way it wants to. besides i have already shelled out enough on my STB earlier. BTW you cannot lodge any complaints on the Dish TV website, the page will load and you can enter the complaint but the submit button cannot be clicked, nothing happens, try it...
                      my suggestion, there are many better service providers. if you are thinking of DTH, don't try Dish TV. also i have tried to change my address many times using the secure login facilit, to no avail.

                      I am using dish tv from past 6 month, the time have taken dish tv i am not gettng good singal at home

                      When I call customer care, they place the call on hold and disappear. I spoke to Pradeep and Sarala.

                      I would say, the worst customer support i have ever seen. The employee work over there are not

                      professional nad not fit for the job. Also when I asked to send technician to my home to check the signal, they asked us to pay. I dont understand why do we pay for this, when we are alrady paying for dishtv. six month back we paid 300rs for a tech to come and fix the dish antenna at our new home, from that time we are not getting good singal.

                      The tech was from dish tv, when he did not fix the antenna properly, why shold we pay for the tech to come and fix the antenna again. Also there is no assurance the the problem will get fixed.

                      he will come and adjust the antenna, for some 10 to 15 minute we will get the signal but after that if dont receive signal, we again have to call the custorme care for a tech and have to pay for that again.

                      its rediculos, they take money every month for recharge but we are not able to see any channel...

                      my frustration is gone to peak level now...is there a way i can get refund for my money... I would better go for cable connection...

                      My vc no.[protected] residing in Korba Chhatisgarh problems comming from01/05/09 for week signal such as signal not found check your set top box properly conected to antina in mean time it displays unable to locate signal some time within seconds some picture appeares and disappear channels are as in movee on demand, sab tv, sony, vb, pix, game, active sevices as bhakti etc., mahua, hamar tv, ten sport, mtv, play tv, zee news uttarpradesh, zee news etc more channels.
                      Pls look in to this matter this is serious problem for your services othervise we are switch over to cable tv network and disconnect your services.

                      DishTV — week signal

                      I have dish tv VC no [protected]. We shifted it from pune to noida in jan. From 1st day i phone at customercare for bad signal. Everytime when i phone them they say that they will send service eg. & we pay him there charges. When there is bad signal is it not ther duty to rectify it without charges. This problem repeat again and again, so why we should pay charges everytime.

                        Subject begins on 27th April 2012 when I Dr.B.Vijayakumar aradhya father of Harshitha received a call from your office to pay the due when informed about the intention of cancel and disconnection of Data card. I was told to pay the dues and some fees for the disconnection and I paid Rs.1720 and extra Rs.200 for disconnection at SRR Enterprises authorized ARC, Hoskote. Ph no. [protected] and mobile no: [protected]. The recipe no being 1708.

                        Again I received a call from your office for the payment of due few days later when I explained about the payment details and causes told me that the amount is not posted hence the call since then I have been receiving the call till date. It is disturbing to explain about the payment instead of finding the solution they continued to harass me for no fault of mine as a customer my duty is to pay for the service which I have obliged.
                        When contacted SRR Enterprises Mr.Purushotam who advised me to give the caller his name and the compliant no 43705721 and mobile no [protected] for further enquiry which I obliged but I continued to receive the call for the payment.

                        One caller says as I have to pay the due for the cancellation has not taken place. Again a disturbing statement as I paid my dues full on27th April 20012 and requested for cancellation by paying on extra amount of Rs.200 if you don’t disconnect the data card and start demanding for dues it is not fair.

                        Please consider all these and disconnect the data card at the earliest and put a stop to the harassment I am enduring through the unwelcoming call from your office during the busy hours of practices at my clinic. Sometime I become so irritated which affects my profession commitments please understand and act according.

                          I contacted airtel customer care on 04/08/2012 at around 10:00 am -12:00 pm for technical support from my number [protected] , the customer executive told me that your call is being transferred to senior officer ,and I was put on hold for around 5 mins and the call disconnected ,after that i tried around more than 10 times to connect to customer care but the auto operator said an unwanted command and the call gots disconnected every time.
                          so its my humble request to please look into the matter.

                              My Name is Aamir Shaikh R/o 87 Begum Peth Solapur My Airtel Mobile No. is [protected]. My complaint is on Dated 31.7.2012 a GPRS service is automatically activated on my no at 9:00pm.And i have been charged for Rs 125 and in that regards i mailed a complaint to Appellate officer dept and i got refund of the debit Rs 100 and again the same case going on no any deactivation again i am getting charged for what i am not accessing the internet. And if i am complaining to the customer care at 198 no response from it and they misbehave with us. so please necessary action in this regards and Help me out

                                I am using a MTNL no with 0007. From last almost a month i have been receiving SMS's from airtel number [protected] and the contact person is SUMIT [protected].I have called him and told him not 2 send me these types of SMS and i told him 2 stop all this other wise i will put an FIR for this number. "This reply was do what ever you can do".Please look into the matter
                                the sms that i get is take similar no as of mine...

                                  My Name is Naveen Mehta ( Having Airtel connection from last 5 Year - no. +[protected].

                                  There was a deduction of amount in my this prepaid no. , when I tried to contact to customer care , the person said, due to double internet pack activation the balance is got deducted and same had been reversed by that person. But on the same day in the evening the same balance automatically deducted from my account . After that when I again tried to contact to customer care for the same then no body is able to give back my money ( that is totally unfair) .

                                  If Airtel provides this kind of behavior to their old customer then how can they add new customers in this challenging market.


                                  I would like to request you to please help me in this matter and help me to get my money back from airtel.

                                  Airtel Prepaid — unfair deduction of money from prepaid

                                  there is everyday a deduction of 3rs from my prepaid account balance
                                  and i even cannot reach the customer care on 121
                                  these people are looting
                                  Without my knowledge start Hello Tune & deduct charges from my Air Tel Mobile[protected], which is not acceptable to me. Pls stop Hello Tune & Joke Junction and refund my deducted charges.

                                    i am a retailer of telecom i have recharged mobile of rs-500 but this amount is not correct. correct amount is 444 i have submit the request of wrong recharge but air-tel not reversed my account balance this is frod of air-tel for the retailers i have solution my request.

                                      Team,

                                      I am been getting lots of missed call from [protected]. When i had called your call centre they had given me option of enabling DND over an SMS but it is on chargeable basis @ Rs. 30.00 per month.

                                      Not sure why we should be pay when this call is not intended to me and also this is not a small issue, most of the Airtel people are having this issue, hence i would suggest Airtel to take action on this immedaitely.

                                        I had applied for a braodband connection with Airtel. They were prompt in collecting my documents and initial connection/activation charge of Rs.500

                                        After 2 weeks there was no action and i called the concerned person to check on the status. He mentioned that there was some technical glitch and not able to load the form into the system. This went on for 2 weeks. After repeated calls and requests they said its prcoessed now and gave a phone number. But again there was no action on the internet connection and again after 2 weeks of repeated calling they came back and said connection not possible because of non availabilty of pin for my area.

                                        I feel they have done this intentionally and do not want to give a connection because i was regularly following them up daily to get my connection activated. They have not yet refunded the amount

                                        please advice

                                        Airtel — no internet connection after 2 months

                                        despite my advance payment for 3 months of mobile internet connection, Airtel was not able to provide any GPRS coverage in my home. Telephone service was working without any problems. I called Airtel 121 every couple of days, and was told that the case would be fixed within 48-72 hours. After this procedure had continued for nearly 2 months with no result, I decided to cancel my connection and take the company to court for compensation claims over business loss and mental agony.
                                        The behavior they displayed highlights the complete disregard Airtel has for their clients, despite friendliness and hundreds of apologetic phrases.
                                        They have not reacted to my offers for an out-of-court settlement, so the case is still pending.

                                        Airtel Broadband — No connection after 2 weeks

                                        On March 24th 2010 had applied for a IP TV/Broadband connection by paying 1750/- to Sales executive-Vicky Chaddha at Airtel Gurgaon Care Centre at Galleria,Gurgaon.I was assured it would be installed in 4 working days.Even after 2 weeks there has been nobody who has come to even enquire as to where the connection has to be established.Call centre has no information even after giving details of reciept -IP[protected].Technical guys promised connection after a delay of 7 days now they do not pick up calls.
