My landline number is[protected]. I also have a broadband connection on this number. Since the morning of 08/10/08 (today), the phone is on but there is no broadband connection.
My telephone (no. 24411040 ; at Kasba, Kokata-42) is working but broadband out of service since 22nd Dec'08. Complaint lodged to local broasband centre and also through 1500. People came in my house and found nothing wrong at my end & expressed their view that trouble may be at the Server end. Again I contacted officers of local B/B centre (No.[protected]/[protected] and expressed my dissatisfaction over the poor service of BSNL B/B.

I don't know what to do !

    Check your account usage site could not be opened for more than one month
    Dear Sir
    I am presently in 500C Brand band connection .The BSNL account usage site from where the broadband usage is seen could not be opened for more than ONE month.Occasionally this problem arises.
    The problem was informed to the Concern staff member of th BSNL office. Till date there is no remedy . Please rectifies the problem at the earliest .

    I would like to know how to get the BSNL broadband's and phone's usage. Also i want to know how the free calls that BSNL gives with the LandLine.

    500c — BroadBand Usage

    Sir,
    i am using 500C plan of BSNL Broad Band.

    i have unlimted download from[protected]hrs.

    on 21th of oct 2009, i have been charged when i have downloaded between my unlimted period.
    means every time it shows 0KB download when i download between[protected],but on this date it shows 321 MB download between[protected]hrs.

    it may be noticed that i have been started downloading a minute earlier the unlimited period,but according to my knowledge any plans like this always keep track of time,means i may be charged for 1mint download before 0200 hrs,but i have been charged also after 0200hrs.

    n one thing also that when my unlimited time overs means after 0800 i always been charged for 1 minutes also,so they keep track of closing time but not of starting time.

    so,please its my humble request,look into the matter and do the needful.

        SIR
        I AM A RESIDENT OF SECTOR 38-WEST AND HAVING 3 BSNL MOBILE AND ONE LANDLINE NUMBERS AT HOME.BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT SIGNAL IS VERY POOR IN THIS AREA. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE THE CALLS CLEARLY. SOMETIMES, WE HAVE TO DIAL THE NUMBER THROUGH LANDLINE TO COMPLETE THE TALK. THIS IS CREATING LOT OF TROUBLE AND THE BENEFIT OF MOBILE PHONE IS REDUCED AND BECOMES ANNOYING.
        PL LOOK INTO THE ISSUE AND GIVE THE SOLUTION AT THE EARLIEST SO THAT THE BENEFIT OF BSNL SERVICES CAN BE TAKEN FULLY.

        ONE MORE ISSUE IS THAT SOMETIMES WITHOUT ANY CALL SOME MONEY IS BEING DEDUCTED. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. AND SOMETIMES WHILE RECEIVING THE CALL EVEN AT 38-WEST, ROAMING CHARGES ARE DEDUCTED. THIS IS FOR YOUR INFORMATION AND NECESSARY ACTION.

        i m stationed at allahabad (Uttar Pradesh) India and a subscriber of Cellone prepaid mobile (up east). i m trying to make std calls on Airtel no started with9000524*** but to no avail as computerised machine asking me that the number i m trying to is not in exixtence despite the fact that im recving calls from the same number. i also tried to make calls from other cellone numbers but the result was same. there must be a technical snag with the connectivity that operators are not removing. my cell no is [protected].
        Broad band services (BSNL) was provided to me on around May 25th 2009. From the same day itself as soon as the connection was done, i was not able to log in. To get log in it is taking a much time say 30 mins or so and disconnecting for every 5 to 10 mins. I have lodged a complaint on May 25th, 2009. They said they send the technician, but to date no one has come to my house. I have called almost 20 customer care executives, who asking whats the problem i have to repeat the problem and they say the same thing always. Almost every day, i am calling the customer care executives and the official person and every day say they are lodging complaint and look forward to that issue. I got the area officer no.., he too did not respond to me very well...There who receives the phone call says the officer is not available and and they say after he comes they will make him known of my problem and take the action.. and at other times they say technicians are on leave.. and some times say it a line problem, a port problem and port has to be changed.. and now finally the bill has come with internet usage charges.. I have already paid 1500 rupees as advance without using any internet services. These things are going with the BSNL people. Please help me in this regard...I will be thankful to YOU.
        I am using a cellone sim in my mobile. I have to try a number of time to get connected to someone on mobile particularly to people using other network(idea, airtel etc.). It rarely happens that I am able to connnect to somebody in one attempt. Sometimes even after trying for more than 10 times I am unable to connect to the person whom I am trying to call. People find me out of network though I am well in the network. They find it very difficult to contact me.
        Also it is often very difficult to connect to customer care.
        These peoblems have gone beyond limits and have become highly irritating.
        I may be forced to change my service from BSNL to some other mobile service provider.
        The following error occurred when trying to process the request:

        Your SIM card is not activated. Initialization failed. MSISDN:[protected], reason: Exception: Could not fetch services! this is the problem in WIB services i am not able to browse the net of this problem, what to do

          Sir,
          I have recently changed my broadband plan from plan 250 to plan 500 under which free downloading facility is being provided during night hrs i.e. 0200 to 0800 hrs. I wish to mention specifically that I have changed my plan just because I have to download some big files from rapidshare.com. First two days I got bandwidth of 1.5 to 1.6 mbps and download speed of around 200 kbps I have downloaded around 2 GB during those days after that my net was not working for a day then when I complained about my net my net was rectified but my speed specially during free downloading hrs are limited to 155 kbps and downloading speed of just 15 to 20 kbps. I have complained everywhere, local exchange, regional call centre, mailed to local and regional officers but my complaint is still unheard. Now I am planning to take help of Consumer forum and will ask for rebate in rental as the complaint is unheard for 1 week.

          [protected] land line bill paid on registered bsnl portal of rs 988 dated 25/10/2015 amount paid by credit card deposited to bsnl bill desk mumbai .Refrence no also created, but amount still not adjusted against my outstanding bill, i contact personally number of times to local office they suggest to deposit amount on cash counter you amt will be adjusted later on, but big sorry for services, lodged several complaint in response call from bsnl ujjain from mr bhatt with assurance that your problem will be solve shortly, period of last 3 month is over, i contact number of times to mr bhatt who assure me in response to my portal complaint . .Solve the matter

          Sir, I am using BSNL sim from lat 1 year. Recentally i bought new mobile in which micro sim is insert. I went to BSNL office there they give me postpaid sim and didnt told me about it that it is postpaid sim. Suddenly they call me and says that there is something wrong in that sim, than they gave me another sim and told me that it is activated within 1 hr and that sim is also not responding than i again reached to BSNL offc no one can listen my problem there and one mam was there she just said me thatvi couldnt do anything you may leave... I am a gov. Employ and i have to leave ujjain on 5th april plz register my complain and take positive action so i can again activate my no. without any problem.

            Sir,

            I am 100 kms foraway my native, Last 20 days i have to try to talk with my parents, Due to Telephone connection problem i am not able to talk with my parents.

            My Native Land Line is not working fast 20 days. Why the Official is negleting the Village Connection. In village their earnings are very less, in this situation they are paying the Telephone Bill without working condition. It it too horible. It is Not only my problem, in our native several connection are in same problem.


            Plese look in to this matter as seriously and solve the problem.

            The work order was issued on 19.05.09 by Commercial officer (S) Coimbatore to Kurich Telephone Exchange. Inspite of several contacts/reminders, so far my connection was not executed.

            For which, I have sent a compliant to PGM/ BSNL Coimbatore by REGISTERED POST on 17.06.2009.

            So far no reply or activation of my landline.

            It is very pathedic situation the connection was not resumed even after one month.

            WORK ORDER REF: CB KRI 10960/2670008.

            I face very much difficulty without Landline connection with broad band.

            Kindly do the needful and expedite my landline connection.

            I have been served a bill amounting Rs.548 in the month of May 2009 to be paid before 26.05.09 againt my tel no.[protected]. The same was deposited before due date. After elapse of 6 months BSNL is saying that the bill was of Rs.842/- out of which 548/- was deposited. I have both bill and receipt of payment of Rs. 548/-.

            My number is[protected]. I rigestered my complaint to BSNL office 10 to 15 days before but there is still no any reply from them. Whenever i call them fom the problem every time they said we will see it some time there is no answer from them.

            We kindly request you to look into the operations of our office telephone number which is not been operational for over two months. And for that we made a number of complains to your office since then.

            But we did not get any response from your office, even as we have been trying to get in touch with your office several times.

            So, it’s our kind request to you if your offices can cross-check and rectifies the technical problem and retain our number again. For the non-operational of the line is causing a lot of inconveniences to our office business as we are into publications and our publishing house faces consequences due to non-receipt of calls.

              I one of the customer of bsnl services want to state that, i applied for gprs activation in my prepaid connection([protected]) and it got activated but still not received the handset setting, iam using Nokia 6110 Navigator. It is more than 40 days and iam getting the same answer from the customer centre that as soon as we receive the setting we will forward u.
              plz consider my problem and send me the same as soon as possible.

              I also have the same problem regarding online payment of bsnl bill. Not only that, from the past ten days my net and landline is not working, and though i have registered a complaint, there is no response yet. I really feel its better to go for other services rather then depending on bsnl jst because it is economical. My landline number is 24001129. If any bsnl official sees this, i request them to atleast respond as a matter of courtesy.

                The connection to landline phone no[protected] is frequently interrupted. The complaint is rarely attended. The phone connection is restored automatically but is snapped again. The phone is useless for about 10- 15 days per month since last 4 months but the rental charges have to be paid in full.
                we paid the bill but phone is not activated we also given the number to account officer but no responce why my number is[protected]
                Our residence is at
                Murtaza Manzil, Opp. Jangam Akhada,
                Kumbharpura, Kailash Talkies Road,
                Budhwari, Nagpur.

                We are unable to attend any mobile at our home because it is giving us message out of coverage area.
                We are trying for landline connection from last 6 months, instead we received wireless connection
                the No. is 2020949, which is also giving us out of coverage area message, we have already redeposited it to the BSNL office, we are informed that as their is no place empty in the box sothat you can't get it.
                My request is please make a landline telephone connection available to us with the internet facility.

                  I have a landline provided by BSNL, unfortunately I also have a Data One Broadband service. For the last four months my internet connection gets dropped immediately after connecting. The DSL led goes off and comes back, I try to connect back, it is either phone line busy that is shown or a connection established only to get disconnected in the next few seconds.
                  I have been trying to get this rectified and I have atleast 10-20 complaints registered some of them that I can recollect, 67424, 67758, 62358, 2588. I have one registered even yesterday.

                  I contacted the JTO Mr, Amarnath in gandhinagar and initially he said this is a problem with the so called server. I then contacted Mr. Narsaih (I guess from Lakdi-ka-pul) who promised some action but none done. I spoke to Mr. Ravinder in Mushirabad exchange (Responds good to the calls), he inspected the line and informed me that the phone line to my apartment is very bad. This is communicated to the JTO in gandhinagar 2 months back, no action yet. Mr.Suresh in the JTO office in gandhinagar agrees that the line is bad, Mr.Swamy promised this will be corrected. No use.

                  I pay around 750 per month for this no service that I use. I need to get the entire amount paid, refunded to me if this service continues.

                  Can some one responsible and accountable in BSNL, if there is any, please act on this. It is really frustrating when people sit on complaints for months together. If this cannot be done, please let me know of that so that I can switch over to some other broadband connection.

                  I am your coustmer from last 11 years but now I am facing major problem in both the telephone and broadband connection breaking and connecting within 1minute of time is started from last month onwards. But complaining to your concerned department at Deshambimani, Kaloor they always saying that because of the usual earth problem in your place it is working like this. Can you possible to correct it or not because my job is related to internet, if problem is continuing I want to shift to another company’s connection.                     Similar case now I am facing for all out going mails. But as instructed at bounced mail to contact <[protected]@bsnl.in>, each time contacted but failed as these mails also bounced back. It is not understood how to get rid of / what has to be done. It is also not understood for "System failure" who is responsible. Unless a clear cut instructions are circulated troubles are likely to contnue which is not desireable at least for a country demands 1st in advanced IT system.
                    I dont know why towers are week in cities also.there is no message card offers like other network, it shouid establish standard schemes to dominate others.otherwise it is the number one

                      BSNL is providing a telephone connection in India and giving poor response if we rise any complaints against our home telephone. BSNL is supposed to give service to public if any problem or mistakes in their side. Instead of giving service, BSNL provides bad reply and poor response. How public will support BSNL government organization. Hence public will supporting private sector who provides telephone service and good response for public.
                      In velachery BSNL office, Staff's is not working for people and they are not ready to rectify if complaits rise. They will come and physically sit in office and go home.
                      When BSNL will rectify their faults?

                      Repeated request for repair has not resulted any action and the phone is still dead.
                      The velachery bsnl is the worst amongst any other service in the city. The line men expect us to pay something everytime they attend a fault and are most of the times rude to customers. They dont realise they are in the service sector . No wonder people are switching on to private lines.

                        It is going to be 1 month i bought a BSNL topup for Rs 56/-. I tried to top up in my mobile number. but a message came as this voucher is invalid. Then i called several times for the customer care but there was no reponse and given a complaint number as 55143. but still no action is taken up.

                        Request you to kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

                        I got BSNL broadband connection home500C that have limit of 1.5 GB for a month and for 80 paise/mb if exeeds. Even I got the connection at July 1, 2008, they did not provide us Portal Id and password to check our used data usase and finally after a long, somehow we manage to get it on July 28, 2008. and first of all I check my usase of data then I come to know that I need to pay for 8.5 GB that would be nearly 7, 000 rs.
                        Now, tell me what can I do. BSNL is thief. They are cheating. They dont tell you how much you are using so that it could exeed as in my case and everybody know that for this much amont I could have net for 1 year with unlimited download. But they even dont offer anything like if you use more data tranfer and you exeeds unlimited charges then you should pay for unlimited as it should be .
                        So, finally I could conclude, those are thieves beware of them.

Even I got the connection on June 10, 2008, and I come to know from my latest bill dated 08/08/2008 that I need to pay Rs. 35987/-. This amount doesnot pertaing to my down loading and definatlty not going to pay. If I would have requirement of so much down loading I would definately gone for 700 unlimited plan.

                        Now, tell me what can I do. BSNL is thief. Even someone is hacking my account with the consent of certain corrupt official at kalka exchange.They are cheating. They dont tell you how much you are using so that it could exeed as in my case and everybody know that for this much amont I could have net for 1 year with unlimited download. But they even dont offer anything like if you use more data tranfer and you exeeds unlimited charges then you should pay for unlimited as it should be .
                        So, finally I could conclude, BSNL is thieves .

                        I AM USING BSNL 500 PLAN WITH 2.5 GB FREE DOWNLOAD PER MONTH AND NIGHT UNLIMITED(2AM-8AM).
                        BUT WHEN I TRY TO DOWNLOAD DURING NIGHT UNLIMITED(2AM-8AM) PERIOD MY DOWNLOAD WILL BE HEAVILY, I MEANS HEVILY SLOW.

                        BUT AFTER 8 AM IT WILL SUDDENLY INCREASES.

                        I WANT THE SAME SPEED DURING NIGHT UNLIMITED(2AM-8AM).
                        i think BSNL has no such internet speed yet for which it tale to it's customer need.
                        i thought BSNL has the best, but now as it present i think it is not best.?

                        When BSNL introduced it's combo offer for Rs, 5000/-, we readily applied for our Brother-in-law in Tiruchi. Only after applying, we came to know that the package really cost us Rs.8000/- with all other installation and taxes included. We still went ahead. We have never used 1024 MB per month. But every month, some amount or other is coming as usage. As with all BSNL customers, because of lack of time, we don't get into their 'manipulated' details and fight with them, rather we just pay what they ask for. This month the net usage bill has come beyond Rs.3000/- !!! No way it can be that. It's time to fight. Looks like BSNL is planning to cheat it's customers at a bulk level.
                        I also faced the exact same issue
                        i am karthi, i am using BSNL 500 COMBO PLUS, they said that there is unlimited usage between 2.00 am to 8.00 am.i am wake up at 7.00 am and download some songs for 1 hour.But they charged for my downloads.BSNL IS CHEATING!

                          My BSNL broadband, dataone is not workimg since 2nd of July 2008. I booked complaint on 4th of July 2008. They gave me complaint no. too - A58. Nobody turned up. Later I had to book complaint freshly, the no. being A248 .I have been constantly enquiring as to when they would attend to it. Each time they say they will see to it. Where should I go now, even the senior staff at their nearest office Patrakar colony, Indore, is paying no heed.

                            I am V.S.BHARGAVA, Joint Director in School Education Dept., in Hyderabad, a customer having broadband connection with phone no. [protected]. The broadband connection was not functioning from 15th of August 2009. I tried number of times the toll free numbers to book my complaint. Atlast I could get on 22nd August, 09 and complaint registered with no. [protected]. Til today, it was not rectified. The broad connections of my neighbours in the same apartment are functioning well. I also spoke to the line men frequenty. One linemen came to the house on 29th and said there is a problem with exchange and it will be rectified by evening. But it was not done sofar. I am finding it difficult to check my mails that comes from my field staff. Even today, I tried to ring 198 and I waited for nearly 20 minutes to get with customer care person and after that it was connected. I will be grateful if it is attended to immediately. Please do not charge amounts for the period the broadband services were not provided.

                              i am using BSNL Land line Facilitiy since 2004 at same location in Andhra Pradesh.
                              Even i given a written application to JTO Sullurupeta in june 2006, i have not recieved the facility till (2008) now. i and my family is suffering because of annoying/mischievous calls and threatenings continuously.

                              i have humble request to provide Caller ID facility to my phone for proper identification and police proceeding against the culprits..

                              My landline no.[protected], I have recently got shifted my landline & broadband connection. It took 20 days for reconnection where in i was been promised to be done in 1 week at maximum. Since my bill amount was Rs.1500 above for last 3months I requested for Caller ID phone on 20th Sep. by visiting BSNL Chandra Layout Exchange office. I gave return request and asked for immediate change of instrument but I was been told it will be sent to my home. But after 3days I got a call & was been told to collect from office. Now since I got instrument change its display is not working, when I had launch a complete they told we cant help in it u need to checked that in our office again. When landed up in argument I was been told we have sufficient customer & we wont mind lossing one. Is this the way you treat your customer? I expect immediate attention & help from you, is it good to Hazel customer in this way? In this competitive market do u think your company will sustain? All other service provide has prompt service at door step.
                              Kindly have check on issues & get my instrument changed with New & proper working condition phone.
                              I am glade to have BSNL service & don't wont to loss it.

                                My Name is Manikandan and i have recently booked the broadband service on03/07/08 Bill no:66387 Tin:[protected] DlNo:20ms604/21 the executive who collected the money for the same promised me the connection within 10 days whereas only the landline was connected no:[protected] and in spite of giving N number of calls to the Madhavaram Exchange finally they installed the modem on 24/03/2008 whereas it was not working an i had to call our Exchange JE whose mobile number is [protected] who spoke to me in a harsh and impolite manner since i got irritate becas of this issue after our conversation i called Madhavaram exchange AE whose mobile number is [protected] who answered my call and the only person who seem to have understood the customers problem he asked me to take the Modem to the Exchange and get it replaced but when i went there the person requested me to leave the modem there she engineers are not available and said it will get replaced the next day i.e on 25/07/2008 which is not done so far and wen called the JE he didnt help me keeping in mind tht i didn't speak to him nicely not only that they have disconnected my land line number also and till now have not repaired it in spite of n Number of complaints made to the exchange. Now i kindly request u to look into this matter seriously and sort it out since i am not getting any sort of response from the Exchange.

                                    Sir,

                                    I have BSNL data one connection.My telephone number is[protected] .All of a sudden it stopped functioning. I made a written complaint on 5/7/08.On 8/7/08 after checking the modem installed at my residence I was told that the port has been changed and within two days it will start functioning.It didn't happen and I lodged a complaint again on 12/7/08 (complaint No.453).I was told that it will be done the next day.
                                    I am a distraught person as they will send the bill promptly for this month's service also.

                                    I contacted by phone today just before writing this complaint.but I am sure it is not going to be corrected even now.

                                    Is BSNL irresponsive to complaints?.Are they lacking experts?
                                    I expect that at least seeing this complaint they shall respond.

                                      This landline is not functioning properly since February 2008 and has gone dead completely in June 2008.

                                      Whenever I tried to complain using the No. 2198 ++++ a recorded message that the facility is not available for this line was being conveyed.. Thereafter, I lodged my complaint with phone No.s 23631100 / 23621100. Around 20/6/2008 the personnel at the nos. confirmed that there is cable fault which will be attended to. Further, I was advised to contact the mobile no. [protected] for further information. As the fault was not rectified, I lodged complaint again on 1/7/08 docket no. 430. Even as of today my complaint has not been attended to & te phone is totally dead.

                                      I am sending this email with a ray of hope that the complaint will be attended to with all seriousness.
