My mobile no. is [protected]. I am from Siliguri, West Bengal. Few days back unneccessarily caller tune had been activated in my number although I have not asked for that. Now after calling to the customer care ([protected]), they are telling it is not possible to disconnect it from their side and I have to send a sms typing UNSUBSCRIBE to 56700. Even after sending the sms my caller tune is not removed. Even if I have not asked for that why should I have to disconnect from my side? and after 30 days automatically amount will be deducted from my account. I want to close it as soon as possible.

BSNL Prepaid Connection — faulty sms

I'm Arun krishnan, advocate Thiruvanathapuram/ Ernakulam. My mobile no is [protected]. I'm not able to sms[protected] starting from the evening. I have registered a complaint with the costumer care 3 time in the last days they asked me to wait for 48 hours it ented on 11-01-09. please see what can be done to healp me.
so many times i complaint that my hello tunes on my bsnl mobile no. 94190342 must be deactivated because the hello tune was activated without my consent.
So, please deactivate hello tunes from my mobile no. [protected] as soon as possible . Otherwise i will disconnect my prepaid connection.

Hi this bsnl caller tune service is handled by private players (onmobile), that is why they are looting people by giving this service without asking customer and charging them in the end of month.

Otherwise, govt. stratergy is to serve the people.

this is jagadeesh from hyderabad. My mobile number is[protected] .I have recharged with certain topup for validity with the instructions of customer care people on 20/08/2009 at 9:15 pm.Still now they didnt give any validity but they disconnected my out going calls.

It is a way of cheating. BSNL has started this. They will charge you even for their technical problem.
Even if you complain many times nothing will happen. Every month they will deduct Rs. 37 and tell you due to technical problem they are unable do anything. I with all my friends will surrender our BSNL
prepaid line and many told me this is the only solution.

Please dial 56700 from your prepaid (I dont know about postpaid) BSNL mobile and follow the instructions. Finally you can unsubscribe for the tune with immediate effect. just try it. I have done it successfully.

the tips of calling 56700 worked but I had to pay Rs. 8 for getting the caller tune unsubscribed it is a big cheating gang. bsnl caller tune service first offer things free of cost and without your consent start the service and deduct money from your account this is cheating cheating cheating and what else?????????

    Sir/ Madam,
    I would like to inform that I am a regular user of BSNL telephone at Rawatbhata since last one year. Previously, I used to receive my telephone bill at appropriate time interval.
    But, Since March-2008, I switched over to broad band connection. After that, upto 1-2 months, the bill was received by me, but now, from last 6 months, I have not received my monthly telephone bill at my residential address.
    Kindly do the needful in this regard.

      I made a complaint regarding the disturbances or audio distortion to BSNL on 15.9.08, my complaint No is 36413. BSNL personnel were limited to just enquiring the problem, but not curious in locating the fault and rectifying the error. It is really pathetic, we are unable to hear clearly the caller vioce. Many times enquired, the reply is we will attend it within 24 hours. Terrible service. Tel No. 27177804, Secunderabad
      I can call five time for customer care for deactivation the BSNL mobile radio, but she say call 12630033, i can call atleast 100 times above, the IVRS system say PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER, again i am asking Customer care how can deactivate the BSNL mobile radio, the customer care say go to the bsnl office and deactive the BSNL MOBILE RADIO. The customer care centre is very care less to talking

      I had once subscribed for mobile radio on a number 12630033 and then when i treid to unsubscribe it was not happening and then i rang upto bsnl customer care but they failed to provide the way to deactivate or unsubscribe the mobile radio subscription and lastly told to give ring to 12630033, so i gave ring to the same number but now the number is on but the voice of that number is not clear and it is not possible to hear anything out of it
      so it is thus requested you to guide to how to unsubscribe the above service

      my experience about customer care is very bad. i have problem that i want to deactivate the subscription of music station[protected]. than i rang up to customer care many times but they failed ti provide the way.
      I have requested for new connection, while accepting the amount the gentle officers over there in the desk said it will be done in 3 days. But after 7 days when I called the concerned person he said he has received 2 to 3 connections in the same area and he will come and check the possibilities of giving connection and he is very rude and he asked me to give complain to any one you want he said nothing will happen to him.

      his name is Kale and his number is [protected], I hope the concerned person of BSNL will call him and see to that the work will be done smoothly.
      This is one of BSNL Land Line Customer Mr. Anand.G. My telephone # is [protected], from the last ten years i am using this BSNL Land line connection. So many times the telephone connection having problems, also this line not working properly.even if i am paying bills always in the correct times. At last from the last 15 days this telephone is not working properly, I already complaint so many times in the local telephone exchange, but till today this issue is not cleared by the local Exchange authorised personnel. Due to the land line problems& non responsibility of the BSNL local exchange personnel, i forced to take an private mobile connection in the last week.
      If the telephone bill paying is little late from the customer the concern BSNL personnel is ready to disconnect the connection quickly. I thinking the telephone facility is for our emergency& Preliminary requirements in the current human life. I have hope if giving instruction by you to the Concern BSNL department personel it will cleared with in one hour. So please do needful...

      all the above complaints are facing everday by bsnl customers.pl answer our complaints quickly.daily we are facing horrible expereience to contact customer executive. so pl make necessary arrangment to answere quickly.

        Though trying a no. of times to check my usage detail, I was unable to do so because the system is not responding to my portal id & password.
        this is obviously very frustating & time taking and moreover my bb charges are shooting sky high.
        Moreover, I have submitted a request for change of bill plan i.e from 250/ to 750 PLUS on 2/9/08.It seems that no one is bothered and loss of tax payers money is taken for granted, as no action is still not being taken on this regard.
        THE CUSTOMER CARE service is totally in shambles, as most of the time the customer care executive is not available.
        If possible and if your office time i.e after the leisure time u enjoy during office hours, permits, then kindly look into this matter. My no being[protected].

        with refrence to telephone no. 23386660 the connection was disconnected for non- payment of bill dated[protected] which was paid on[protected] vide reciept no.0613708 and another bill for rupees 26 which was also paid by reciept no. 0613707 on[protected]. after making the payment I am making daily calls for the connection of internet though the telephone has been reconnected. I am being assured every day that the internet connection will be restored with in one hour but as ususal being a government organisation internet connection has not been restored so far. I am very disappointed. hence this complaint for immediate action in the matter.

          no network on roaming

          i have bsnl sim of gujarat..
          from last 2 months i am on roaming,
          but since last 4 days i am not getting any coverage in my mobile..hence i have become disconnected from the world.
          it may be possible that the switching center/exchange of karnataka has denied acess me for roaming..
          so please kindly check it out.

          My Cellone No. [protected]. I am on Roaming at Bangalore for some time. I am making the regular payment through Bank of India, Koregaon Park. My cell is not getting signal presumably it has been disconnected from your side for the last 1 month and 15 days or also and for no reason without any intimation. I have been put into unexplainable difficulties. 1) I want to know why my connection has been disconnected when I am making regular payment through Bank. 2) When my connection is disconnected why deduct the payments from my Bank.             I am unhappy with the service of BSNL Mobile service it sis due to after purches the caller tune chages has been deducted from my account three times total amount is Rs60/.But several followup with customer service problen is still same.Only one word comes from my end for the service of BSNL is disgusting.

The Phone connection( only wiring ) for new place was given on first week of January 2009. But not given new telephone number and connection to the same. But I have received one Telephone Bill for the new connection on 19.01.2009 to my old address.

I have already approached the local BSNL office and i've handed over the copy of the payment receipt but there is no improvement.               My telephone is out of order from 23/6/09. I registered complaint in IDS, after repeated complaint to the JTOs, Clerks and linemens they didnot rectify the fault. they are very lethorgic and no one is responding properly. i have to check my mails regularly but i was put in trouble. this was a routine problem in gudvancheri telephone exchange. kindly the superior authorities should check whether the registered complainets are rectified in time. and for me still howmany days does BSNL personnels required to rectifiy this fault.

              It is very strange that even a request for a new land line/broadband line thru their "online registration", news paper advertiment to send an SMS to a mob. number and to contact tel.no.1504 have evoke no responses for reasons best known to CHENNAI BSNL alone.

              One fail to understand when Chennai Telephones is not prepared to meet the customer expectations despite their advertisments, it is better they refrain from advertising which result in avoiding misleading of customers.

This month beginning I started facing lot of problem with broadband connectivity as it is not connecting within the normal timings that used to be and disconnect frequently that has interrupted many of my overseas clients chat which put me mental agony and humiliation.

              To restore my service I have repeatedly approached customer care contact no such as 1500 and 1504. The contact information as follows. The complaint made on 12.08.09 complaint no: 88439276. The complaint made on 16.08.09 with staff Amalraj complaint no: 88442310. The complaint made on 19.08.09 with Parameswari complaint no: 88445026. The same complaint reminded to Ealumalai on very next day of my last complaint. Again complaint made with Ravichandran on 23.08.09 complaint no: 88449544. All my efforts gone vain till today no action has been taken still the line is in the same condition. Pls advice me what should have to do further to rectify it or do I have to go for any other better service provider. Your most valuable advice will help to take correct decision.

On 20.12.11 I enquired at Nanganallur Customer Centre and understood it is not possible to shift and asked me to close. I closed vide Request ref.61519692, AN 62544760 dt. 20.12.2011, surrendered the DEAD INSTRUMENT immediately at Nanganallur Exchange and submitted the ack. at Guindy office vide their Ac. No: 2110/20.12.2011 for refund. I have already paid the disconnected period 26.11.11 to 30.11.2011 but also the DEPT WAS SMART ENOUGH to charge me full for phone & BB from 1.12.11 to 31.12.2011. IT IS NOTHING BUT TREATING A DEAD BODY WITH MEDICINES AND BILLING THE CLIENT.!!!. TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND. I sent very many mails to AO, then some mails to GRIEVANCES CELL. No reply till date for so many mails. I sent mail to GM Appelate who just forwarded my complaint to irrelevant dept. like POST MAN. As a lay man I can understand that my AO is AO 7 and phone No.22501844, whereas GM Appelate directed me to contact 24344641. When I contacted them after long trial, they asked me to ring up to 22501351 / 1328, in turn they told me to contact 22500230 / 425. In BSNL office or Exchange if any body get them on line IT IS NOTHING BUT TRIUMP. They will not liftr the receiver. If anybody lifted it is JUST AN ACCIDENTAL. BSNL can remove all their phones. Atleast they will not be fed up with ringing sound.As per records BSNL has more staff than AIRTEL, RELIANCE, TATA INDICOM ETC, VERY LESS WORKING / CUSTOMER SERVICE, MORE FINANCIAL LOSS !!! I have NOT AT ALL EXAGERATED anything. Awaiting your reply

                BSNL is claiming that they have complete structured customer care mechanism in place to serve its customers.
                Customers has enough choices in this age to choose... especially in telecommunication field.

                What makes me saying this is ... I have registered a complaint about my landline.. I got a docket number also. Right after one month also there was no action.. docket status showing is ... service pending at outdoor... Then I thought of visiting customer care office. When I enquired there they were telling that there is some problem for the cabling and it will take some time. All other lines in my apartments are working fine and only my connection is out of order... I don’t know how the cable problem only for me... and if the problem is for the cable which connects the main box to my instrument.. to change a 10 mtr cable, one month is required ? And if I ask this in customer care the officer is telling me to talk to cable department :)

                  We are located in Bhopal. We are paying 4000 Rs per month to BSNL for broadband usage. Our modem died 15 days ago and it took about 10 days for bsnl professionals to detect the problem. We have purchased a new modem and still we are not able to connect. They are trying to copy airtel services by calling frequently about the problem but there un trained staff does not talk politely and hang up the phone without finishing the talks. We are a small software company trying to get big in these Indian conditions and this BSNL which has lot of money dont care about services and ruining their image. I dont know how are they into the market.
                  Broadband service is not working since 40 days.

                    There are week network in P block Sriganganagar, I have requested to GM BSNL Sriganganagar on 11-09-08 vide recipt No. GMTD 128 /11-09-08, & reminded on 26-09-08.
                    I am residing at 129 P. Block Sri Ganganagar . where non of the 3 available Towers viz . Bus Stand, Vinoba Basti & Gangaur are able to transmit so strong Net work for Mobile Communication in Side my House. I Have to go in the street to use my mobile set this problem is not only for me but it is for all mobile user in this street.
                    Hence your good self is requested to please arrange to increased range of these Tower or by any other way to getting sufficient Network for mobile system.

                      Hi,

                      I am a BSNL Broadband customer. I had BSNL connection at Mathikera Bangalore address.Recently i shifted my house closer to my office. I submitted my telephone shifting request well in advance so that connection will be ready by the time i will move to new house in Ramamurthy Nagar Bangalore.

                      Now I already shifted to a new house in Ramamurthy Nagar Bangalore. I raised a request to shift my phone & broadband connection to my new address on 16th Sept 2008. Officers assured me that it will not take more then 2 weeks to shift this connection. My OB number is 75111809. Now it is more then a month. I can’t see any thing is happening in this regard. Daily i am calling Ramamurthy Nagar BSNL telephone exchange but no one is picking the phone.
                      I got bunch of customer care numbers to speak but no one is picking the phone.

                      I tried to reach couple of people to raise my concern but the result is none.
                      I tried to reach Mr. Babu Division Engg on his mobile number i.e. [protected] but he is also not picking up the phone.
                      Later I tried to speak Mrs. Nilima Area Manager on 25422000 / 25427000 but her secretary not allowing me to speak to her & asking me to call them tomorrow every time I call these two numbers.

                      We are outsiders with small family. Most of my business is based on internet connection. Now I am helpless. I can’t work late night because there is no connection at home. It is impacting my communication to my customer.

                      My personal experience with BSNL is very bad. I will shout with my open mouth that BSNL is another name of worst support, worst services, worst communication, and worst customer care. It is my personal advice not to go for BSNL. It is best to go for private operators. Their services are far better then BSNL & they are well aware of technical issues.

                      BSNL Customer Service is equally pathetic and hopeless...No one is there to attend your calls...I lost my handset and was trying to call up to get my lines barred. But either no one answers the call or the call gets disconnected due to poor network connectivity. I tried d entire day but couldnt get the sim blocked

I had complained many time to Customer service but he told me they will contact within 24 hours and when I had discussed Mr.Tolani (SDOT BSNL on his contact No.[protected]) regarding complain also but he is not responding and not picky my phone for receive complain when I ask him why you pick my phone so he told me that we are receiving many complain that is why we are not receive your complain when I said I will complain for you so he told me that if you have problem you can direct complain for me to GM.



                      I am a BSNL subscriber from last 20 years but I am totally unsatisfied with this company because of the poor services. I never get any respond from this company and I request you to please concentrate on my problem as soon as possible.





                      That I could able to get service from some another Pvt co who, I think take care of their customers.
                      Please take first action, this is my land line number ([protected]), otherwise I will go to consumer court.



                      Sir we need your kind support and Pl look into mater to resolve this problem.

                        I am a BSNL Landline & BroadBand Customer.

                        My Landline No. is 22630578.

                        I would like to share my HORRIBLE experience with BSNL Service.

                        My broadband connection is not working properly for the past 15 days.

                        My connection is getting disconnected every two minutes frequently.

                        I am not able to download any documents or check email for the past 20 days.

                        I went to Pozhichalur telephone exchange in person and registered a complaint. Till today no action was taken in this regard.

                        Since I am using the BSNL landline only for Broadband purpose, I am paying every month bill amount without enjoying the internet facility fully.

                        I believed that BSNL will provide better service when compare to other Internet service providers in the market.

                        But, now I found that BSNL is a worst service provider when compare to other ISPs in the market.

                        Without providing a good service and not bother about the customer care, every month BSNL is sending Bill very promptly and I am paying the same without fail.

                        If this continues, I will be forced to surrender my connection and advise my friends and colleagues also to not to go for BSNL BroadBand.

                          I had lodged complain with cust care to activate national roaming vide J[protected]. So far national roaming has not been activated. Please activate the national roaming immediately.
                          My bsnl post paid mob no [protected] does not have national roaming activated as yet, inspite of various complaints. req activate national roaming immidiately.

                            My complaint no is J[protected] on 19 october, 2008. When I tried to know about complaint progress then I was given information very rudly and unrespectfully and attendent of customer care was Miss Rdkha Ji .
                            after going in exchange office, no complaint no is issued.online complaint is not done and repeatedly shows time out.all network is rubbish, but at near pvt operators doing well, because bsnl employees take bribes from pvt companies and doing bad network and tower management.
                            dist-ghazipur vil-gahmar, bsnl tower is installed in 2003-04, but never done well, because the operator is same, no transfer is done, he is so liable to bsnl that he never starts generator of tower.and diesel is drunk by him on paper regularly .immediate bosses are obliged by drinking diesel.in village gahmar, , power supply is only eight hours, rest of hours are powerless and mobile tower gen set never starts by "'kripa"of operator and another bosses of bsnl.this resulted eight towers of private companies has been installed in gahmar only and increasing their customers on the price of bsnl customers.it the matter of high level inquiry and punishments

                              my name is somanath, i have got a bsnl broadband service on 18th feb 2010. since the broadband installation, the speed of broadband is very very slow(i.e., 20 kb per second).i have opted to Rs.750/- plus plan.inspite of several complaints to bsnl office, they donot bother to solve the problem yet.
                              hence i am forced to disconnect the service right now.please disconnect my broadband service immediately.
                              Worst service, they create more and more problems and sufferings for their customers like other government institutes, they are expert only in one thing -they know how to do strike and get more money by cheating common people by their advertisements. if once someone ought in their grip it is very difficult save himself from their torture. dirty peoples.i am writing this truth from my own experinces of years . in this country all government employees trained to behave with general people like their slave robing their basic rights.bsnl is not exception. My experiences is with calcutta bsnl.
                              I apply to Chang my broadband plan from home 500 to home ul 750+yearly as my last plan, they done this after many time reminder, but done it monthly without adjusting my rupees which i paid for last yearly plan .after again and again reminder and visit from one officer to another there is no one to solve my problem created by them, it is very painful experience to visit different officers and different places like their hare street, central avenue and bentik street offices and west time and money.there is no one responsible person to attend customers who are coming from long distance wresting their money and time, actually here is no need to call customers they can get all information on their computer and if necessary by phone, but they don't do this because it will not satisfy their ego, they feel happy when they see how many peoples are waiting in long lines for them, at present they sending me bill every month Rs- 8500 (app.) including late fee and other charges from one year and this year they double the amount Rs-16500(app) I don't know what to do, they disconnect my broadband line after 15 days for no payment, but sending bills for what? in fact my Rupees near about Rs 5000% Is due in them .Please someone help me and suggest me how i can save me from their painful grip,
