[Resolved]  Barclaycard — priority circle

Dear sir,
This is reminder of prior complaint of 17 Apr and regarding your reply on 22 apr.i had not received any positive response.I have received call from priority circle on[protected] in morning and in this, the executive told me that he would definetily cancelled my priority circle charge the following was the detail of my calls to customer care executive
to surekha 27/3/2008 at 4 pm
to prasant 12/04/2008 at 10am
to prasant23/04/2008 at 5 pm
to krish 29/04/2008 at 3.10 pm
to deepa 08/05/2008 at 6 pm
to prasant 13/05/2008 at 4.30 pm
to amit on 23/05/2008 many times between 2 to 6pm from priority circle delhi[protected]
in these calls and e mails from starting i had requested every time since 26/02/2008 not to give any priority circle membership nad not to deducted charge.but nothing was happened. Instead of deducting membership fees bank had levied interest on the same although matter is under processing .
I have a barclay credit card no 433*********973 i have complaint about ur priority circle fee of Rs 5000 in statement of march 2008. actually on 26/02/2008 at 5.00 pm i had received many calls from your priority circle for taking membership . In these calls I asked them to give me sometimes to think but they insist me that this was the last day to take membership. Due to network problem the call were disconnecting in betweens communication Finally the call was disconnected while verification was in progress .after 15 minuts near about 6.00 pm (ist) i had called your custmer care no [protected] from my phone number and ask not to given any membership and not to deduct charges, executive assure me that he had taken my complaint and no charges would deduct .after some days (near about 5-6 days )i inquired my outstanding it had shown about Rs 7320 and in this fees for priority circle was included. since then i had made many times complaint to custmer care and priority circle by my phone and even before and after preparing the statement for march but no action was taken only assurace were given so kindly do needful because it will reate a bad effect on barclay reputation and i felt it like a trap for customer . my priority circle fees was deducted on 03/03/2008 even after complainting on 26/02/2008 and after giving assurance of not to deducted fees by customer care executive on 26/02/2008
So kindly return my priority circle fees and reverse the service tax and interest which was levied on this fees

Barclaycard — Priority Membership

They made me a member WITHOUT MY CONSENT-
and charged me for -
1. Membership fee of 5000 + service tax = 5618
2. Interest from May till now

I have been mentally harrased by their collection dept since I have recently decided not to pay this amount back and not paying any on my bills.

Someone please tell me how to get out of this.

Barclay card credit card — fraudulently use of credit card

I am Dr.Rashmi, holding barclay card since last10months.Today 30/1/09 at 8.45p.m, I got a call from barclay personnel whether I have used my credit card which I replied no, but I was informed that 2 transactions of Rs.14059 each in name of essar telecom has been made by 8:00pm from my credit card that too online.that time I was asked to check my credit crd also.It was with me.My card details and other documents alngwith embossing was taken by one of the personnels from standard chartered bank I came to know that my card details have been used by him Personnel"s name is Mr. Naveen Domnic working in Dombivali branch of standard chartered bank. i asked barclay people to block my card.As I haven't used card, transaction should be stopped since it came into our knowledge right in the first hour.I kindly request you people to look into the matter and register the complaint against Mr. Naveen Dominic.His mobile no:is [protected].

I am not, and have never been, and never want to be a customer of Barclaycard UK. I am a senior citizen and am harrassed by cold calls and sometimes calls when there is somebody there. They keep calling for a customer who owes them money (so they say). Against the Data Protection Act they gave me his name MOHIT SAGAR and although I said I wasn't him, they asked me for my 6 digit number. They are really a dreadful bank. After writing many recorded delivery letters, I received one from their Customer Relationship Manager (yes, they actually call him that!). It was a foolish letter, that Mr Richard Atkinson sent. He sent me a booklet for disgruntled clients! The calls continue and I am very tired from all this, I don't need it at my age and I am afraid. I have now written to the Omnisbudman, but I think it will be a waste of time as Barclaycard UK sent me the particulars. I am afraid they will work hand-in-hand. I really don't know. I have also contacted "Watchdog" on BBC 1 TV. Barclaycard UK are a horrible group, who are completely impersonal and have no ethics.

Barclaycard — Being a Priority Circle member , Bad Quality of Service.

HI was repeatedly called from dec08 to March 09 to get registered to priority circle or get converted to this scheme. After going through their complete details & accepting their terms they did not send me the card for these all months, But on march 27 09 on Guddi Padva this card drops in my place. The problem is now when I don’t need this card anymore, when i am calling all the number of Mumbai, pune, Delhi to cancel this card, the number replies to wait in queue as their executives are busy on all the three places. I tried these three places at different timing between 10 to 6pm as per the details on their website.
How are we suppose to complaint regarding their services as the don't have a proper office in pune for the same? I had called their regular call center number, they say they cant helps, we need to contact the Priority circle number?

Barclaycard — Harassment over payment of Services Not Availed

Dear All,

A few months back around Aug -2008, I received a call from Barclay Card executive telling me dreamy stuff regarding BarclayCard Priority Circle membership, for which I asked them If the same exists on paper also or not. I did recieve a confirmation call from BarclayCard, where I was told that I can cancel this plan within 21 days after receiving the hard copy of Membership.

I received hardcopy after 21 days and found most of the item not mentioned any more, which was told at the time of applying for the same. I immediately asked for the cancellation of BPC membership and told the Customer Care executive that I will only for the actual expense made out of my BarclayCard Credit Card not for the BPC membership fees, and I actually paid for my actual expenses.

I wonder, how a consumer can be at fault, if he doesn't receive the hard copy of documents in the specified duration.

Since then, I have been getting recovery calls from BarclayCard agents and it feels so bad.

Please let me know, How can I can bring those peoples to justice.

I have a Barclay card. They called me to make me a member of their priorty circle for which i was to pay no money at all. They started charging me 7000/- Rs. from next month onwards. Despite many cancellation requests and even paying cancellation fees of Rs. 1500/- on 3 different occasions as guided by their different executives. Till today they are not accepting the cancellation requests and demanding full amount with interest and late fee charges. I have not availed any benefit under this membership. Moreover on sending them repeated emails they continued to send same replies and demanding me to pay the full amount of membership fees. I have never used the card.

I am card holder from last eighteen month . we are also paid life time preority circle membership of
Rs. 6000/- . i was also misunderstand about this offer. your reprersentative told me you have 30%
discount of all purchase in life time, but after more than one year we always call customercare
but always told me our all represantative are unavailabele now .we also requested to pls. reverse that amount of Rs. 6000/-

I have already mentioned my grievance in earlier mail.my carn no. is ending with 4339..................3542.

The very objective of taking holiday vouchers in April 09 was to use them in summers, They are useless now (Still not recieved).

The watch in any case is useless.

I would like to remain ordinary customer.
I have not used any of your poducts or services.
Please reverse my charges 4000/-.

I was made a priority circle customer in march09 and debited 4000/= in April.
which i paid in full.
I was promised a watch and holiday vouchers.
I did recieve a watch which was not working a complaint was registered and I was told to contact the toll free number of service center. No response from the service center. Reg. The holiday vouchers The bank says that as per their records it has been delivered to my secretary at the residence, to which i told them that i dont have a secretary.
Today also I spoke and this is the fifth time I called up and the same answer "we will get in touch"

I feel cheated and dont know what to do

Barclaycard — reversable overlimit charges

Respected Sir,

I am sandeep singh negi the card holder of Barclay credit card since one and half years. sir my payments of credit card was paid by me and the cunsulting person vishal give me commitment with 101% surety for reversable the over limit charges then i was online payment and give him transaction ID no. and he said that in next statement your overlimit charges will reversed. But now he tell that your charges is not be reversed.

Pls do some suitable action with that, they not giving me possitive response on my complaints

Barclaycard — Discontinuation of Barclaycard credit card No - 4339513300313653.

dear sir,
This is to inform you that iam not using your Barclaycard No - [protected] any more . I have destroyed the credit card at my end to avoid any miss use. The same may be treated as clossed from my side . You are requested to close my account with you.

Barclaycard — Credit card fraud

Dear Sir,

I have a bacrlay credit card having number [protected]. I spent an amount of Rs. 3500 with this card around one and half year ago But I got a statement in next month of around Rs.11,000. I called them and came to know that they had given me a club membership. I asked them to remove my name from that membership and to send a fresh statement so that I can pay. But they did not rerespond and sent me another statement in the next month by adding late payment charges and interests. I did not pay anything and whenever their representatives were calling me, I told them to send the fresh statement by removing those extra charges. In this way, one day one of their representative called me and asked me to pay Rs. 1000 and he told me that after making this payment they will send a fresh statement by removing those extra charges. Accordingly I paid Rs. 1000 but got a statement in the next month in the same manner without removing those charges. Recently one of their representative again called me to pay Rs. 200 and gave me same hope. accordingly I paid Rs. 200 but nothing is happened. I called to the bank and got the feed back that the card is blocked and there is no option to resolve this issue. In the mean time I applied a loan in Standard Chartered Bank and the loan was not sanctioned for the first time in my life. I got the information that my name has been sent to CBIL by this Barclays Bank. I have home loan in HDFC Bank and I am paying the EMI-s regularly. I have also other credit cards and recently Standard Chartered offered me Platinum card for my good payment habit. I am working as the General Manager position in AMRI Hospital group. Is it possible for you to resolve this issue and can do something so that these banks can stop to harash the people like us ?.

Barclaycard -Times Card — Excess charges on EMI amount

This is with regards to my (Asif Parkar) Barclay Card No :- [protected]

Please note that from past few months there has been a regular payments to Barclay Card that had been made by me and the sum of amount was more than the minimum amount which has been paid every month. In such case the amount EMI goes on increasing each and every month and also the amount of transaction that has taken place from the Barclay Card was double the amount that has been paid and still paying. I had spoken to few Customer Care Executive but with no proper solution each and every time they told me to wait for few months and the days and months passed away with few charges and still its continuing. So please help me on this situation as I am not willing to make payment or continue to go for extra charges which they had keep on adding into my account.

Hope I will get right solutions for my problem with Barclay Bank
