I am a customer of BSNL, Orissa Circle under Bhubaneswar telecom district. My landline No. is[protected] under Jagamara Exchange, Bhubaneswar. My UID No. is [protected].

I have not received telephone bills for Feb and March 2010. When I collected a duplicate bill from Central Telegraph office, PMG, Bhubaneswar, I found a bill claim of Rs.1031/-!

My telephone bill never exceeded Rs.200-300/- per month for close to a year. So this sudden hike is perturbing. Without bills, I do not know the details of claim. I hardly use this land line as I have three mobile connections. Yet this huge bill claim!

I wrote an email to CGM, Telecom Orissa. The address was available in BSNL website ([protected]@bsnl.co.in). Strangely, the mail bonced back! BSNL is creating a farce. This is why BSNL is losing business to private operators. BSNL's service quality, grievance handling, customer care have gone to dogs. No surprise, this organisation is fast getting obliterated!

I am enclosing the email sent to CGM(Tel), Orissa, which bounced back.

Can you help solve the problem?

Dear CGM (Tel), Orissa Circle,

I am one of your customers for the last 25 years or so. At present I reside at Plot No.1080/2762, Jagamohan Nagar, Bhubaneswar-751 030. My land line phone number is[protected] under Jagamara Exchange. My UID Number is [protected].

I always make it a point to pay the phone bill on time. Whenever I get the bill on time, I clear it. My payment records will reveal this.

I have not received any bill Feb' 10 and Mar'10. Naturally, I have not been able to pay the same till date.

Meanwhile, my outgoing calls have been barred. I contacted Central Telecom Office, PMG Chowk. When asking for duplicate bill I was utterly surprised to find a claim of Rs1031/-. In this era of Mobile phones, I hardly use the landline. Besides, in Feb'10 I was at Bangalore for 12 days (17th-28th). My bills never exceed Rs 200-300/- for last 6 months. I don't know why this sudden jump in bill amt. In the absence of detailed bill, I am unable to know the reason.

Kindly, pass orders to concerned Officers to send me the detailed monthly bill for Feb & March 10 alongwith numbers called from my phone so that I can ascertain the reason of sudden hike in bill amt.

Kindly note that I shall not be able to make payment in absence of detailed bill. If the outgoing call facility is not resumed or phone service is disconnected, I shall be constrained to surrender it. I repeat, this facility is no more essential because of very negligent attitude of BSNL staff. A simple problem like setting right loose wires at DP box causing disruption in case of heavy wind has not been attended to for months in spite of written complaint.

BSNL is losing ground to private operators. But, still its service quality remains extremely poor. I hold on to this lanline just out of loyalty to BSNL. I don't want to severe 25 years relationship with BSNL and surrender the phone.

Kindly appreciate the issue and direct concerned people to do needful.

M/S BSNL — EXCESS -RECOVERY OF BILL NOT REFUNDED

As per demand I paid the FEB.2008 bill for Rs3506.Out of this excess payment of Rs600.not refunded so far. When short payment was raised by BSNL and paid by subscriber, the Amount less recovered in the previous bill will be raised in the next bill . If excess recovery also in same analogy to be refund in the next bill.Still I have NOT RECEIVED EXCESS AMOUNT PAID ON 29/3/2008. SO FAR.MY TELE PHONE No.IS[protected]

BSNL — BSNL phone connection not resumed

Our landline[protected] phone BSNLconnection was disconnected a month back. We have cleared all dues given by the BSNL officials. Till date our connection has not resumed.

BSNL — non attending the consumer complaint

Landline phone in Himachal[protected] is out of order for quite a long time and complaints sent through email, telephonically as well as through telegrame and through sms.No body respond.

Cellone service of BSNL — No signal in Sardar nagar area

Dear Sir/Maam,
This is to inform you that there is no signal in Sardar nagar area of Cellone for the past 15 days. When i contacted their customer care service desk at 24365, I was told to lodge a complain at their Shahibaug office, and when I tried the same, I was told once again to cantact their Vastrapur office regarding this problem. I tried to contact them also and the response I got was to contact their Shahibaug office only and showed their helplessness in this regard.
I have been using their service for the 8 years now and its very difficult to change the service providers as whole business gets affected.
These people are treating customers like a cricket ball of IPL match and no one seems to be responsible.
you are requested to kindly look into the matter and get this problem sorted out.

my landline (also with dataone broadband[protected]often has breakdown and remains such for long time.it is difficult to contact bsnl nor are they helpful.i have decided to opt for mobile and ortel.hould be helpful and simplify the proceedure.

bsnl mobile service at Jaleswar has out of order since 7 days . I am a regular customer with using voucher of Rs300/- per month. whose validity remain for 30 days. 3 to 4 days every month your net work fails regularly . But the validity ends in the stipulated (30 days) time period. Why should we the common people suffer like this. The problem is at your end and we are the sufferer. It is a regular one.Try to slove the problem as soon as possible and try to maintain the net work and make it ok always. And give a grace period of 7 days insted of 30 days.

My mobile no.[protected]. On 14/07/2010, I received a call from [protected] at 04.08PM asking for subscribing some devotional mssgs. It asked to press 1 for mssgs from hindu...2 for Islam...3 for bible...4 for some others.
I was busy..I did not reply..it repeated the above mssg again..still I was silent. Then it said...we could not understand you. Pl. press 1 to sub scribe or press 2 if not interested.
Then I pressed 2.as I was not interested.. and what a cheating!.The voice said..Thanks for subscribing mssgs from ISLAM. Rs.20/- was deducted from my balance with in 10 minuits. It is clearly a cheating. Please take up the matter with the owner of [protected] and 12555 Please refund my Rs.20/- deducted just after the mssg.Don`t try to cheat others also. BSNL — non attending the complaint by tel operator

Dear Sir,
In spite of repeated reminder/complain no body is attending the call for tel no[protected]. my ailing parents are staying in HIG-433, KALINGA VIHAR, BHUBANESWAR, ORISSA. It is a sorry fact that though they have lodged a complain no body is attending in spite of regular payment. if any thing happens to my parents i will go to consumer court to get compainsation from bsnl. Dear Sir,
I am a Broadband customer of BSNL since July, 2010. My Land line No. is 0674 – 2585581 under Mancheswar Exchange. But it is very sad that I have not yet received a good service from your internet service. I have not yet received a good signal from your internet service. I have made several complaints to your Dept. through your Toll Free No. – 1500. A noisy sound can be heard from the receiver of your Land line. At that time, I came to know from one of your staffs that the problem is due to CABLE FAULTS. After several requests to SDO, Mancheswar Exchange, the problem was solved after one month of my complaint. At that time I gave thanks to Mr. SDO, Mancheswar Exchange. But now from 25.10.2010 again the same problem has been occurred. Now I repent that why am I go for BSNL Broadband? Again I came to know that the underground Cables are so old that it crossed the time limit of expiry of those cables. And also BMC in the name of development of roads & drainages, they have damaged the Cables. Now I think what the solution of poor customers like me is as I am paying approx. Rs.900/- per month towards your Broadband Bill. Your service is so poor that BSNL is losing business to private operators. BSNL’s service quality, grievance handling, customer care have gone to dogs. No surprise, such big public sector of India is fast getting obliterated. But, still its service quality remains extremely poor. I hold on to this BSNL Broadband just out of loyalty to BSNL & it is an indigenous public sector of India. But now I think I will surrender my connection which is full of problems & it gives headache to me because of negligent attitude of BSNL staffs. So it is clear that BSNL is losing its business & ground to private operators.
I have registered several complaints during this period Till date the problem has not been resolved and I am not sure whether the problem will be rectified or not. Please help me and let me made aware of the status-how long will I have to suffer of having a Broadband connection without any signal or very poor signal.
I came to know from your office that there is a severe cable problem in this area. They told me that, my Broadband connection should have the following volts/ohms.
L3 – should be 0, but it is 21.5,
L5 – should be 1016, but it is 40 only,
L6 – should be 1016, but it is 88 only,
L7 – should be 1016, but it is 120 only.
Now you can guess how my Broadband is running.
So I request you to be kind enough to take necessary immediate actions to change the Cables or which will be the best reason to solve my problems as soon as possible.

BSNL Broadband — non receipt of bills at given address

i am not getting my bills since installation ie may 2010 as such i couldn't claim reimbursement from bank.however i had to pay the entire amount on enquiry .but couldn't get monthwise detailed bills so as to claim reimbursement.my phone no.is 2384072.

I had given application for change of my existing broadband plan from 500 Home combo to 900 UL combo. I had confirmed the change of my plan from BSNL Customer Care by dialing .1500. they gave the confirmed news of plan change to 900 UL . I had applied the "plan chane form", the Bhubaneshwar Telecom Head Office provided me the reciept of plan change. But the bill generated for the month of Oct 2010, bill no 25108936., is Rs.1, 975.24, which is impossible for usage under BSNL home 900 ULf. I have got no outstanding bill left before . The landline and broadband service is registered under my fathers' name ARUN KU. BOSE.

When I inquired about this with BSNl Customer Care, they said "we dont' know about this, refer to Bubaneshwar telecom Circle a/c section about this". If BSNl is not able to provide clear, transparent and satisfactory service, it shoul closed all its operations.

In Jeypore Odisha Circle there is some mischufes is going on some time when the mobile is with connect the other number they deduct Rs.0.90 and cross connection to other mobile phone and another thing I notice that when I talk one No.[protected] Dt.15/01/2011 Time 7.03 PM timing is 0.57sec. but immediatly deduct Rs.1.80 Paise insteded of Rs.0.90 Paise who it is possibe. please give me detail within 7 days if not i lodge a complain at Delih Office My. My landline connection[protected] is dead since 16.9.2011. Since then I have lodged complaint four times.The Docket numbers are furnished below.

I have lodged repeated complaints as the dockets are being closed without attending to the complaints. Of course I protested before the JTO concerned and since then my docket has not been closed. On personal contact the Junior Engineer-in-charge Mr.Pratap Kumar Sahu told that it can not be done now and at least ten to twelve days will take to attend to the complaint. I feel that we are at the mercy of such officers as they provide service to customers at their will. His higher authority, the SDO Phones Mr Kailash Chandra Maharana, when contacted over telephone tells that he would like to see to it, but without any result. It seems as if there is nobody to listen to the grievances of the customers. How can they close the Docket without attending to the complaint. Why should a customer wait for any unspecified and unlimited period for restoration of service when there has been no calamity or disaster and when a specific time limit has been prescribed by the TRAI. In the website of BSNL it has been mentioned that the Nodal Officer for Bhubaneswar SSA under Orissa Circle is Shri J.K.Majhi AGM(OP) and his e-mail address and telephone number is [protected]@bsnl.co.in and[protected] respectively. I lodged my complaint through email on 28.9.2011 but even after three days I was not allotted any unique complaint number within the specified period. Hence I enquired from the Call center and I was told that S.N Padhi is the Nodal Officer, his email ID is [protected]@gmail.com and his telephone number is[protected]. I sent a fresh complaint in his mail address on 7.10.2011. But I was not given any Unique complaint no. After three days of continuous attempt I could get him over the above telephone. I requested him to allot me a unique complain no. but he expresses his helplessness. He appraised me the following.
1. He has not been provided with any JTO or staff. He is provided with only one chair, one table and one computer
2. The Sdos’ being his same rank do not listen to him.
3. No Unique Complaint number can be provided by him. I should use the Docket no. before Appellate Authority.
4. The procedure of grievance redressal through Nodal Officer by BSNL is nothing but a farce and he has no such power to redress the grievance.

I am facing critical troubles when receiving the calls from outcome. This caller ID sounds very gergous it is like sparking sound to ear. All charges of telephone bill have been done in due time but I can not talk to other landline or mobile number smoothly.Please replacement of the entire wire of caller ID sets. No final repairement towards this set is being properly.

Telephone dead since more than two weeks. Broad band services not available.Complain lodged repeatedly without any result.
My mobile phone number is [protected]. I got the SIM card from BSNL by providing all relevant documents/papers. After use of about 4 months I got a SMS from BSNL to contact a mobile number and provide documents to avoid disconnection. I tried to contact but the mobile phone was switched off. Again, I got anohter SMS to contact an other Mobile number but nobody responded. Again, I got a SMS to come to room no-7 and produce papers to avoid disconnection. A state run Company is showing such attitude towards its cusomers which is definitely a matter of concern.
My landline telephone number[protected] has been dead since 15th February, 2012. i have registered the complaint through the computerized registration system as well as informed the JTO Jagamara and SDO Baramunda several times but the telephone is still dead. Suggest me what to do next.

My mobile no. is [protected]. on dt. 11.06.2012, a SMS like "Rs.7 charged. Thanku for using Shayeri message service. Your service have been renewed. from 5959507" was received. Without my willing against any SMS the amount was deducted from my balance. I lodged a complaint against this on 11.06.2012 (7.55 PM) docket no. F11OR31153689. But sorry to inform u that customer care is not taking any action for returning the deducted amount. I already made calls to them on 11.06.2012 - 02 times, on 12.06.2012 - 02 times & on 13.06.2012 - 01 time. But answer is same that they are in process with the complaint.
Sir, let me know whether I will get back the money of Rs. 7.00 or not !!!

But after connection I have been facing problems continiously.such as my internet speed is going very slow and i am getting that my PING of any website browsing is too much high. My experience with BSNL is also very bad. My telephone Number is[protected]. It goes out of order evey now and then. The telephone man comes and advises to change the instrument. If the instrument is out of order they should replace it and take the faulty one. Instead of that they say you go to so and so office and give it for repair. I am an office goer, do I have the time to run to their office to get it repaired ? I also cannot advise my wife to do this leaving aside her household jobs. It may happen repeartedly. Who can afford time . If the instrument gets okay and the line is dead, they say the wires are too old or it has joints in so many places, the deptt is not issuing new wires what to do ? . The BSNL people find many such excuses every time for any kind of fault.

Please help in bringing this matter to BSNL authorities.

The above stated land phone in my possession is not in service since last one month.
2. I reported this matter in SDOT office thrice. I would not meet the SDOT since he was not present in office. His asst. available has noted the phone number and talked to some body in my presence but to no use. Even last time he told the line man that “I am sitting on his head”.
3. Next, as I am a senior citizen of India, I complained to 1500 thrice vide compliant no [protected] dated 27th June 2016. No-[protected] dated 30th June 2016 and No-[protected] dated 4th July 2016 but not to any use too.
4. This is clearly understood that staff of BSNL are how much active to attend the faults reported by the consumer. Further it may be noted that I am a consumer of this BSNL since the Kerang Exchange established and regularly paying the bill.
5. In view of above your good office is requested to guide the staff concerned to tight their belt so that Govt.’s spending on this establishment reaches to the grass root. Alternatively the telephone may be disconnected.

'Temporory problem ! pls try after some time. I am really disgusted to note as to how these people are allowed to operate. Is there no mechanism to book such senders.           I am trying to take new connection from bsnl kalyan from last 2 yr
          bsnl employee that all connection board are full in my bulding and it has 70 connection but we have 400 aptment in our society.
          -i stay in nallasopara west region in aster apartment it is the famous bulding in the locality

            I want to pay my land line bill on line and i have SBI VISA credit card & State bank of hyderabad(SBH) debit card. But these banks are not available in the bill payment options in bsnl site. Whereas for Mobile post paid bill payment atleast SBI VISA credit card is available to pay.

              BSNL Ghaziabad — PHONE NOT WORKING FROM 8 MONTHS

              MY PHONE NO[protected] IS DEAD FROM 22-2-08 AND AFTER MANY COMPAINTS THEIR IS NO ONE TO LISTEN FOR IT.                 Wait and see is the attitude.Iam an aggressive consumer of Govt authorised services like BSNL Mobile, landline connection, using mMO, Speed post, registere post etc., But the response from the Govt side is negative.Especially BSNL, Banking systems etc., When I approached the BSNLCustomer care Centre near Ajax, Thiruvottiyur Bus stand, Chennai-600 019 on 25th Aug 2010 for the switchover of my Pre paid connection to Postpaid thro'BSNL, they told me to contact the BSNL Customer Services at Raja Kadai(, Next to Canara Bank & Opp to Rohit Hospital), Thiruvottiyur, Chennai-600 019, so I did the same and approached them in this regard on 26th Aug 2010 at 11.00 am, but they refused to give the connection and forced me to go to Flowerm Bazaar BSNL office, Broadway, Chennai.This is the rotational roaming and tedious travel to get a connection from BSNL even I had the relevant copies of ration card, Driving licence, PSU ID card, PO SB A/c pass book, Colour passport size photos of 3 copies.Please instruct the public to go /approach the proper Office so that the time of public who are very eager to get the services from the Govt.,

                  My name is usha shrivasava, I am holding a bsnl landline in Bhopal, in the month of sep 2009 I was in ahmedabad,
                  I had to deposit my bill payment in ahmedabad as I was not in Bhopal city and nobody else in my family could do this, my mother is 67 years old.
                  My problem is still persist as no body has TRANSFERRED my payment of rs 1928/-rs from GUJRAT to M.P. BHOPAL BSNL .
                  I was assured from naranpura branch that payment will be transferred through ATC PROCEDURE, now I have been shifted to Bhopal and waiting

                      Diva and bollywood actress pack has been subscribed on my number [protected].
                      Kindly deactivate these packs as soon as possible .

                      I am using BSNL mobile haivng numbers [protected] and [protected]. Some rubbish value added services , alerts of OSHO and all, has been activated on my cellpohone without my permission . And they are charging me 25 rs Per month . They just send the messages that this services has been activated on your number. i tried to call customer care number of times and after waiting for more than half and hour there was no response from there customer center . In short i hvae to pay for the services which i havent opted for . What should be done to get rid of these alerts taht has been activated on my number without my permission .

                        i am s.selvaraj lic agent in chennai. after long thought myself n my friend Mr.A.Kannikumar have disconnected tata data card n reliance netconnect due to higher tarrif. we purchased BSNL EVDO USB. When we approached the customer relation officer at guindy, he said this will have 3.1 mbps speed n the lowest tarrif in india. But fortunately after we bought n checked its having a max speed of 1.4mbps in few areas. In my mogappair area sometime its speed is 2-3kpbs only. i have recommended lot of frens to buy evdo till date.they are all complaining to me.I made a complaint to so many oficers. but no response. pls give me proper feedback. but pls don't buy EVDO.

                            While the BSNL billing for Broadband usages are correct, the billings for the Land Line usages shown in the bills are much higher than my actual usage.

                            As a result of the aforesaid wrong billing by BSNL, I am loosing the benefit of free Land Line usages (175 calls per month) available under Plan 500C. Rather, I have been constrained to pay for additional usages wrongly billed by BSNL to avoid disconnection.

                            In view of the above you are requested to :

                            (1) Please rectify the defects / mistakes in your billing system to avoid any wrong billing in future.

                            (2) Refund the excess amounts already paid by me including the value for the unutilized portion of the free Land Line usages.

                            (3) Assure me not to repeat this type of mistakes and cause loss of my time and money.

                            I am a BSNL Internet Customer under Plan 500C under Bhubaneswar Telecom District, Orissa through my telephone No.[protected]. My customer particulars are Customer Id :[protected]and Account No.: [protected]. I had taken the Broadband connection in October, 2010 and the Modem is provided by BSNL on rental basis. Since the date of taking connection there is inherent problem in the connection. The status of BB connection goes out in every 5 to 10 minutes duration and needs to be reconnected again and again. I had lodged complaints with your representatives from tome to time through BSNL tool free No. and also lodged complaint officially twice. But, no action was taken by your representatives. Rather, they are avoiding giving some careless reply. Being helpless, I consulted a very senior Telecom Engineer who after examining the connection has confirmed that the problem is due to defective Modem. Hence, I request to please send one of your responsible representative to examine and change the Modem.

                                I have a BSNL postpaid SIM ([protected]), and i want to switch to another mobile service. However, BSNL - Srinagar does not allow to do so. Hundreds of BSNL users like myself, are unable to call or message on 1900 from the BSNL phones. Customer Care centre executives always assure that the service will resume within 24 hrs, but nothing happens. Kindly intervene into the matter.

                                      I called up cutomer care to activate the service but they said this facility cant be activated on this plan. But I checked on bsnl website, it clearly states that excel power can be activated on [protected]@49 plan.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        My BSNL Landline number is[protected]Indore), well i am holding the Broadband & Landline service from last 7 years, due to poor billing i am troubled many times, this time in my bill of Jan'09, i was unnecessary charged 4000 rs approx, this was corrected by accounts managers & they committed me that your extra amount will be redeemed in Feb, Mar & Apr bill , but now again no redeemption has been done & the Customer service officers are telling me that this will be redeemed from next month.

                                        Please help me in this & suggest me the better resolution.
