BSNL Broadband — BROAD BAND CONNECTION NOT RECEIVED
I HAVE APPLIED FOR BROAD BAND FACILITY FROM BSNL A MONTH AGO. TILL NOW I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM BSNL. THE REPLY GIVEN BY LOCAL EXCHANGE IS IRRATIONAL. WHETHER IT IS WISE TO OPT FOR SOME OTHER BROAD BAND CONNECTION ( LIKE RELIANCE, AIRTEL,ETC).BSNL Broadband — BSNL Broadband absolutely frustrating
I've applied for BSNL broadband as a non BSNL consumer on 23rd June,2007. They told me that they will provide phone and broadband within one month. But after two months when i went to Jadavpur exchange (Kolkata-700032) customer care they told me that due to lack of sufficient ports they are unable to provide connection and told me to wait for another one month. After that whenever i asked them over phone they used to tell me that they don't know when to provide connection due to lack of sufficient ports.I went to Ranikuthi exchange (Kolkata -700040) to meet the Area manager but she/he was not there. But i gathered his/her phone number anyhow and called couple of days later but all are in vain. Almost one month ago i read in Anandabazar and Times Of India that BSNL will clear all pending connections within 15 days but i still searching for it. I'm totally depressed and frustrated.
I've also called "Public Relation Officer" - Nodal officer (Public Grievances) at[protected]/[protected] numbers but no one is picking up the phone, i also tried "District Officer" - Consumer Affairs at[protected] but all are fruitless.
I'm seeking your help and support.
I work in a company so physical visit all the time is not possible for me. I dont know why a telephone company not receiving phone calls? So whats the use of "Grievance Cell" and "Customer Care"?

People working in BSNL office are irresponsible of the work and support. They will not even received the calls to give information after there working hours, they think they are not responsible after there working hours, and even if they receive the call they will speak so rudely as if government is not in need of any kind of business.They are simply irritating.

I have not been able to use my broadband service from past 8 days. Even after repeated complain to customer service nothing is been done.We are not able to reach Tech support for BSNL its always busy and after 15 mins of hold the line automatically gets disconnected.Everyday i have been waiting to reach technical support for more than 2 hrs but no luck. Moreover the Customer Servivce is so rude that if we complain about the bad service and bill adjustment they disconnect the call.Being a government no WONDER people are so rude and have no CUSTOME SERVICE skills . My Bsnl broadband is not working properly and i heard that bsnl is cheating with us . I heard that bsnl is very good but is is so poor and dull connection . Also my bill was also wrong . My wrong bill details are :-My bsnl home plan is 500 C
1. In 500 C plan there is no fixed monthly charges but my bill has invalid monthly charges was Rs. 280/- Rs so why this happen
2. And i am cheated with over billing that there is 175 free local calls per month but the bill has 50 local calls so why my bill is incorrect and my total bill was Rs 497/- . And when i go to exchange the officer deals with very bad manner ... Then i want to dicontinue the service of bsnl .
3. I can't check my broadband usage ..
So i hope that you should correct my bill and take steps to avoid mistakes .
BSNL — Sheer Negligence and no Customer care
I have a Bsnl landline. The connection was dead for last more than four years despite many requisitions. Six month's back, I was askes to pay about Rs. 4000 for reactivation. I depositted the money and the connection was reactivated. After less than one month from the day of activation, the connection got dead again. Surprisingly I am continuaosly receiving bills for last about five months since the phone remained dead. The BSNL have no right to operate the landline services with so much of poor performance and no customer support. On their Cellular service, OH! you can hardly listen to the caller. Jai HO BSNL JI.I want to sue the company for their fraudulant attitude which has caused freat inconveniance to me. Please guide.

BSNL Broadband — Bills not yet received and no Internet connectivity.
Hi. My name is Tuhin Chakravorty. I am from Bangalore. I had applied for bsnl broadband connection in the month of Dec. '07 which I had received in the month of Jan. '08. Then, I got the broadband connection in the month of April '08.From Jan. '08, I have never received any telephone bills till date which has resulted in the discontinuation of my telephone line several times. I used to get the duplicate bills from the bsnl office and asked them several times about the original bill. They said that it was dispatched on time. But here, I have never received it on any point of time. But still, I continued clearing the bills. Last month, they have discontinued my internet connection. Again, I did the same thing and cleared it off. Issue is, still now I don't have internet connection. I called up all the possible numbers in vain. Somebody please help me with this non-sense government activities. Their behaviour is also not very good. Please help me in this regard.
BSNL Broadband — BSNL 'Usage' cannot be opened
I have been using broadband from the month of May. I can't open the broadband 'Usage' area for the past 3 days. This gives me the inconvenience of not knowing the usage of broadband till date. Hence, I request you to rectify this problem as soon as possible.I got the telephone(LL -[protected]) connection on 19.06.2008 and got the BB connection unlimited (Home), on 23.06.2008. Since than no service is provided and I am keep asking concerned people in our exchange, later complained to the SDOT at taluka place many times. it is more than 15 days I got the connection but problem is not yet solved. I am ending up in paying the fees for having become BSNL customer without getting proper service from them. If this trend is not amended, many customers in this area will be forced to terminate the relations with BSNL. As it is a national entity and serving the rural areas we were proud of BSNL. Since the private players have enterd the field BSNL need to look at its strategy towards customer care.

Hello,I recieved a BSNL broadband connection in May 2008. Within a few days o[censored]sage, their modem has stopped working.
It has been at least one month since I have tried everyday in one form or the other to get my complaint addressed, but without success.
I tried their call center at 1500, 1957 and a toll free number too, but all ask me to book complaint at a local number[protected]. I have made multiple requests at this last number but no action has been taken.
One person visited my premises last week and said he will come back with a spare modem to test and that I may have to pay to buy another modem. This is within 1 month of operation.
Isnt there any service guideline which BSNL follows? No warranty of their equipment?
In our building there is reallly a monoply of BSNL as no other provider is allowed to install equipment.

For the month of June in my VIEW USAGE DETAILS as provided by bsnl for their customers on their website dataone.in, the Usage details they were showing as " 2538 MB ", but in the bill they mentioned my usage details as " 2760 MB " and when I booked a complaint to them for that extra usage they showed in bill and the extra ammount they have mentioned in their bill, then after that the nexxt day when i saw my usage detail for the month of JUNE they changed it from " 2538 MB " to " 2760 MB ".
And their service for VIEW USAGE is the WORST SERVICE i have ever seen.Once in the same month of june they mentioned in their VIEW USAGE DETAILS that i have used 10 GB in 6 seconds which is IMPOSSIBLE and when i booked a complaint they changed it later.
And now i want the justice to be done and sever action should be taken against the BSNL for their FROUD.

Hi, I have opted for BSNL broadband connection 2 weeks ago. from the day one I have problem in connect to Internet. My telephone number is [protected] and complaint number is 23080515. It was given around 22nd August 2008 . Even after calling customer care every day I get Irresponsible respone saying that SNR is low thats why u have a problem and it has been forwarded to the local exchange.One more thing is that even after specifying the alternate communication number. These people insist us to use only bsnl. Where as this connection is oppted only for Internet purpose. and the person who calling back also wants us to attend the connection which is connected to PC. As of now there is so less SNR allocated and after connecting the parallel phone there is no link at all.
Can some body help me how to get through situation. I think in the next 10 days I will receive my bill of 750 Rs. where as I have not been served properly for.
Why should a consmer go behind these people, do these people think that the consumer doen't have any work to or not.

This is to inform that my BSNL line is out of order for more than week. I have informed the JE who is in charge; he is not giving the proper answer why the line is down. Further he is not behaving well with the customer. If this going be the scenario then I near further BSNL will go off. Private sectors are giving proper response for there customers. This is a scenario from Guduvanchery telephone exchange.Every time if the telephone goes down it takes a minimum of 10 - 15 days to be rectified, but they are sending the bills correctly.

I have been using BSNL broadband from past 3 years and recently, from past 6 months, I am experience a 'weekend connection out' problem with the broadband.Atleast 2 times in a month (2 weekends), the broadband connection does not work and when we call up the BSNL authorities they say the server is down or some other problem. This is very irritating and no idea why the server should be down so frequently! We regularly and promptly pay the 500 rs bill for this and is this the kind of service given?
Request a strict action against the authorities and fix the problem soon as that the customer breathes easy.

How I get the Broad Band usage details and what i will do for getting the same. What is the Website name and portal name to get BB usage detials. How I can open it?
First there was a link problem ad there was noone to resolve it after so many complaints, lineman came 3-4 times but went back in a typical sarkari manner leaving it to be the problem from office end
After all frustations i stopped paying them and thought something can happen now, but alas the number became out of service and there was none to follow up as to why it has been done
after a month when i was left with no option as airtel and reliance did not have line in the location, i had no choice but to go back to BSNL and deposit all bills for no usage even a sum of around 3000 Rs. even for the period when the phone was dead for 1 month and there was no dialtone as the complaint could not be booked for out of service numbers

I received the Wireless Router (Modem) on the 10th of September until now 24th of November, almost 2 months passed by nothing has been done and I am damn sure of nothing will be done. Even though I have visited the customer service center in Hosakerehalli like a fool every week and asking to fix the unknown problem but in vain. I used to call up daily but nobody has time to lift the phone call and even if somebody lifts it up, I used to get an assurance of fixing the problems for the internet connection. I really wonder why people don’t work or it is just a sheer negligence.I had tried the BSNL EVDO connection which is damn slow. I was happy to hear at first from my friends regarding the service being provided by BSNL, but everything seems to be untrue.
I really pity on the system, which nobody will be able to change. People work only when pressured or bribed or with influence. Even though BSNL is India’s biggest telephone networks, people still having problems with a simple silly connections. I would like to treat this as a lesson learnt and I would make sure not to recommend anybody.

BSNL Broadband — Poor Broadband connectivity
I had got my broadband connection on April 2008. MY telephone no. is 25654658 is working properly. But broadband is not working properly. My modem is D-Link ADSL. It showing 678, 691, 619 & more. The main problem is not continuous link in modem.But I confirm that there is no problem in my modem. It working properly in other line.BSNL Broadband — link is getting disconnected
i am struggling with broadband connection which is creating many problems. for every 5 to 10 minutes the link gets disconnected. please help me to solve out this problem.BSNL Broadband — Telephone as well as broad bad is out of order
My Telephone number is[protected] in Ahmedabad. Some one came before one and half hour in connection with mycompalint made in the past to The Chief General Manager. On the contrarary solving thje problem, he dis connected some thing and now the telephone is out of order. We informed one Shri Vora of Vasna exchange but he had not listen to the compalint.
This the clear case of harrassement (as in the past the compalint was made to CGM).
Please URGENTLY have the needful done.

BSNL Broadband — I can't check my usage for 5 days.
Since I am a bsnl broad band network user I can't check my usage for 5 days.This is the second time it happened.BSNL Broadband — Non availability of ADSL/link
I have unlimited broadband service on my Ph. No. [protected]. In the last month (Nov. 2008) my broadband service was not working for one week. After many complaints it was repaired and this month it again went out of service. My complaint doct. No. is 27051 dated[protected]. Againg I am requesting the concerned officers for restore my service. I have consumer right to get the interrupted service as I pay the bill for whole month.
