I have been getting improper bills from the day I have got my landline connection at my residence since January 2010.
With no proper or absoulte no help from the staff at the Ambernath Telephone exchange I am really confused & disturbed, how can an organisation employ such ridiculous staff at a Government owned organisation, they have no sense of billing , they have no reply to your queries, they have no timing of their job and most of all they are not qualified to hold such positions wherein they are not able to give the customer service.

I cannot check broadband usage with the site http://www.data.bsnl.in for the past one month. All my sincere efforts in this regard have gone in vain. Hence,I made a complaint with Broadband Helpline No.[protected] that too has not yielded the desired result. Hence, this complaint.

Since I have opted for Home Plan C. After installation of broadband connection, on one month due to my ignorance , the bill for a particular month soared high. On a query, one gentlemen with the Tele Dept. taught me how to check the usage.

Now again the same problem due to non-opening of the site "data.bsnl.in," I could not check the usage details.

I would earnestly request you to remedy the matter.

My lanline provided by BSNL is not working from last 15 days
I had a complent on 12 of April 2010 (complent no 140) and again on 20 April 2010 (complient no 141)
aslo called to exchange (BSNL WAKAD telephone EXCHANGE)on 27271000 and requested the same then called manager Mr. Bele ([protected]) but they not responded. Again i went to excahge (BSNL WAKAD telephone EXCHANGE) on 21 April 2010 registered an complient the security person he wrote down my lanline no[protected] & given Mr Deshmukh no ([protected]) when i callled him i got the answer it will got resolve today & got the number of lineman shaikh[protected] who answered that he will recitify it today only. but the issue is not resoleve yet resolved

Sir.I have installed landline no[protected] in my govt ,quarter.It is not working properly.Thire is a trobule in hearing the vioce .It is difficult to hearwhat person is talking. I have taken bsnl wll no 2042651.
Now i want to close the land line immedetly Please do needful.and help to save my money to pay the bill of my new number.i Have given complant in writing in Sakkerdara office. before 1 month but no action is taken. this is my 2nd mail please help me.

HI GUYS !!!!!! SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT TAKING BROADBAND CONNECTION, JUST FORGET IT. GO THROUGH MY STORY BELOW.

NO ANY COMPANY WAS GIVING BROADBAND CONNECTION IN SHAHPUR (AHMEDABAD) AREA & AT LAST I TAKEN BSNL BROADBAND JUST 20 DAYS BEFORE WITH UNLIMITED 256 Kbps @ 750 PER MONTH. FIRST FOR 2 DAYS, IT WORKED PROPERLY. BUT AFTER THAT IT SHOWED ME READ FACE. EVEN I WAS UNABLE TO OPEN "GOOGLE" PAGE. SOMETIMES, IT WAS TAKING 1 MIN AND 10 SECS. AT ONE TIME, I THOUGHT THAT I'VE VIRUS IN MY PC. SO I FORMATTED MY PC 2 TIMES. BUT PROBLEM REMAINED UNRESOLVED. AT LAST I MADE COMPLAIN IN CUSTOMER CARE ON 17.04.2010. WIDE COMPLAIN NO: CEN9572. YA IT WAS TRUE THAT I GOT CALL FROM THE COMPANY & HE SAID ME THAT HE WAS COMING TODAY. BUT NOBODY CAME. AND SURPRISINGLY I GOT MESSAGE FROM BSNL-PORT ON 20.04.10 INDICATING THAT "COMPLAINT NO: CEN95726 AGAINST PHONE NUMBER: xxxxxxxx IS CLEARED ON 20.04.10. BUT PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH BSNL. THIS MEANS, I AM NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER, BUT THERE ARE LOT MANY SUBSCRIBERS ARE FACING THIS TYPE OF TROUBLE. TODAY IS 21.04.10 & I CAN WAIT TILL 25.04.09 AND IF STILL PROBLEM PERSIST THEN I WILL ABSOLUTELY DISCONNECT MY BROADBAND.

Dear Sir,

Yesterday when I have gone to BSNL Dombivli Exchange to enquire about the excess billing came to me, I saw many people were waiting outside the compound and the gate was locked by the security man. Timing was 10.30am. Most of BSNL employes are inside the compound and customers were standing outisde compound. I saw 3 boards put outside the gate mentioning that from 20th April BSNL employees are on Indefenite strike. I had requested them to open the gate and we want to go inside to talk to someone. They were not ready to go anyone inside and told us that no one is inside, but I saw many of the employees were standing inside the compound. When I was requesting the Security man to open the gate, one of their employees came in a car and allowed him to go inside and he pushed me back and not allowed to go inside. When I told him that I will complaint about you, he misbehaved with me and told that you can complain to anyone. I would like to show some of the photographs here including the Security Man's picture. Many of them were complaining about wrong billing came from BSNL in this month and to pay the last bill which we were already paid and it was debited from my account.

I an very old and serious customer of BSNL broadband service. My tel no.[protected] and my customer no. 369820. I an a SAIL executive and I applied for 20% rebate on broadband plan (Home-250) on 24.08.2009 through Durgapur Steel Exchange customer care with all relevant documents. But unfortunately till 21.04.2010 no such rebate is provided by BSNL. I personally meet SDO(phones), Durgapur Steel Exchange Every month but no initiative is awarded from his end till today. So, that i am still paying more rental and not able to get the facility provided by you. You are cordially requested to look into the matter at the earliest as i am not getting any help from SDO(phones),Durgapur Steel Exchange.

i have a cellone no [protected] in the name of devendra nath shukla i want to inform you that i have not activated cricket news facility but it has being activated in my cellone no i have sent a message to deactivate the cricket news by sending unsubcric20 to 53030 many times but it has not being deactivated and all the times money is being deducted please take care and all the times money is deducted on date 8 of each month

My Telephone no is[protected]. I have go combo offer ( land line +broadband ) connection from BSNL. Earlier (2008/2009) I used to pay bills through one BSNL authorized agent ( Name :- Sanjoy Gope) and he used to issue receipt against my payment. In the month of June , suddenly my telephone line got suspended by the telephone authority . Finally I came to know that, the bills which I paid through the agent he didn’t submitted that to telephone dept and approximately 5 laces Rest he collected from consumers and absconded. After that I had submitted an application along with xeros copy of my receipts to the chief accounts office (Barrackpore) then my connection got restored. Again my broadband connection got suspended due to the same reason and its down since last 15 days. I had discussion with DE (INTERNAL) & AOTR Panihati (Mr.Ashish Dey), according to them , I have to repay the full amount ( Rs 2000 approx) to restore my connection.
I am not sure why I need to pay the amount when I have paid that amount already to the BSNL authorized agent & I have valid money receipt against that. My connection got disconnected without any intimation even though I have paid all bills on timely manner.

Again I had visited AOTR opn 17th April afeter 15 days but he could not could not give me nay assurance of restoration of my Bordband facility . He is not cooperative at all and adviced me to visit Barrackpore Chief Account officer which is around 12 KM away form my place.



I am unnecessarily getting harassed by the telephone dept without doing any fault form my end.

I’m Kasi Prasad Nayak, Kashipur beg to state that my telephone No.[protected] is out of order / One Sided since a long period. I regularly paid the bill with rent of telephone but in a month it is in defect near about 20-25days. So many times I complained to the incharge of Kashipur, Telephone Exchange but he always used to say our board is in defect. Some time says today I’ll repair this. But till date the problem is not solved. I told this to JTO Kashipur over telephone but he also not takes any steps or not responding. Kindly clear the problem immediately and change the old telephone set to a new one.

Sir.
this is inform you that i have BSNL EVDO card on rent from 25 march 2010. They said the speed is about 300 kb/s in practical. But the average speed should be 30-50 kb/s. which is very less in patiala. And i am totally confused regarding the speed which they said. Please check this and take the action for better service.

I filed a case in District Consumer Forum in the year 2001 regarding excess telephone bill under Section 12 of Consumer Protection law against BSNL.
I was paying regular bill of my Telephone connection but suddenly in the year due to excess telephone bill of about Rs 36610 Rs 10015 and Rs 45055 in three months against the regular telephone bill of Rs 2000 per month . I requested to the telephone department to disconnect my STD and connection and after disconnection , again the telephone bills for many months were sent . When I initiated the action telephone department weighed of the bill of Rs 36610 to 4000 and accordingly I deposited Rs 4000 and I filed a case under consumer forum to weigh off other excess bill which was not related to me . The telephone department also accepted that after my application the bills were sent to me and they advised me that if I with draw my case from consumer forum they may provide relaxation under Telephone Adalat .
Thus it appeared that all were excess bills were irrelevant . I was hoping that I will get proper justice in Consumer Forum but as per the Supreme court rulling , there is a special remedy provided in the section 7 B of the Indian Telegraph Act regarding disputes in respect of telephone bills and hence the remedy under Consumer Protection implication barred and my case was dismiised on 26.3.2010
Please adivice what to do now?

BSNL network is sending messages which are destroying our Indian culture. Is it BSNL a Govt. company is doing business with young generation by sending these SMS s ? Pl. read some of the messages received in mobiles.

It was a public talk that TV and Cinema are two media that destroying our Indian culture and encouraging young generation to follow that bluddy western culture. But now BSNL is also entering the above list by purely doing business with weakness of young generation.

Why can't you stop this messages in BSNL? If BSNL can't stop these TRAI will do the remaining.

My telephones no.25234457 & 25223446 In Bangalore (address, Flat no.B-402,Aaishwarya Opulence outerring road,Marathhalli,Bangalore under Indira nagar telephone exchange) were surrendered on 11th Jan 2010 vide acknowledgement of BSNL Indiranagar ref.no.1364dt.11th Jan 2010. The Payment upto the date of disconnection was paid and it is only after showing the receipt, the telephone instrument was accepted. Instead of refunding the deposit, I am surprised to see that everymonth, I am finding the BSNL bill propping up in my Bank account as I used to make payment ONLINE.
Would the authorities cause examination and arrange to refund the deposit at the earlierst?
I may also inform in the above context, I have vacated the house and reallocated to Chennai during 1st week of Jan.itself.
Hope the authorities would try to sort out this matter at the earliest .
