[Resolved]  BSNL Dataone — Customer Service

On Apr-02-2008 a work order was created for providing broadband internet connection in my house in Bangalore. It was told me that it will be done in 10 days. It's been 20 days now & absolutely no activity from BSNL. If I try to reach the concerned BSNL office, nobody picks up the call(tel[protected]. It will be busy & if you keep trying incessantly finally you may feel relieved that it is ringing, but none will pick up the call. You can very well identify that someone was using that phone when it is busy & suddenly when it starts ringing no one responds to it. It sounds as if the number is just meant for their outgoing calls. It is very pathetic to know that BSNL do not want to listen to their customers. It is a very pity state that BSNL cannot provide good service to customers. Also there is absolutely no co-ordination about the information each of them provide in their office. They are extremely irresponsible.

After having got frustrated & tired of contacting the Indiranagar & C.V.Raman Nagar BSNL offices, I finally sent emails to Customer Grievance Manager([protected]@bsnl.co.in) to solve the problem but no response yet.

BSNL DATAONE — Could not get DataOne Broadband connection since one year

Hi,
I have applied for BSNL broadband (Dataone) one year back and till now I couldnt get the connection. Please do not imagine that I am living in a jungle or something. I am living in a huge apartment complex where areounf 350 aprtments are situated. Also for your kind information, the broadband has been given to BSNL officers living the same apartment complex. I have met several senior officers in the concerned Circle of BSNL. They always say that there is no adequate bandwidth/ some aparatus is supposed to come. Since one year I am hereing the same story.
Unfortunately in this one year Reliance and Airtel have come into the complex and have set up thier operations. I strongly suspect that BSNL officers are not giving new connections only to give more business to AIRTEL and Reliance. I have sent mails to several redressal forums of BSNL but recieved no response from them. I can give my details (phone number etc) if a mail is sent to my address/ a comment is written here.

BSNL Dataone — workers mischief

do hell with broadband of BSNL .. it not giving good service .. first of all it automatically disconnecting and now i getting the bill which i have not used only ... i upgraded my plan to 500.. from which i must get morning hours free for downloading and browseing but here they still making bill of my startup plan and i getting my bills in 5000 Rs... we complaints once, twice but again same mistake do hell with this connection i am switching to airtel. i suggest u all to do the same ...

BSNL Dataone — no userid & password

I have still not been given my userid & password by the bsnl dataone & hence not able to check my balance.please help me.

I have cancelled my BSNL broadband dataone connection for the telephone number[protected] held on the name of Jayan C J on 26-March 2008. I was using the monthly 900 unlimited plan and had paid a caution deposit of 900 while getting the connection. The SDE in charge at Trivandrum, Pattom unit had said that the caution deposit will be refunded by not including the monthly charges (900/-) for the March bill. But when we received the bill for March we had to pay the monthly charges and no refund was given for the caution deposit. When contacted through my friend (as I am currently in Hyderabad), it was told that you will get the refund through cheque only, which is fine. But now when the next bill came, they are again charging for the April usage also. I just can't understand this attitude from BSNL providers. When we had already cancelled the broadband connection on March (have proof in this regard Acknowledgement No: A159328) why do we need to pay the monthly usage again. Please do the needful. I had contacted several times on this customer contact grievance cell at Trivandrum pattom (No[protected], it keeps on ringing and no one is picking up the phone. I really dont know what this SDE is up to ...Maybe the person is not coming to the office or deliberately not attending the phone. It is high time something is done in this regard.
i have been complaining to bsnl right from may20th that my connection isn't working till today 9th june. Every day they jus ring up and check the ip address and ask if all the modem lights are glowing. One day i lost my temper and asked them to terminate this connection, which made some sr. official to call me up suddenly and that day my net was working & after that it started again. I repeatedly urged them to visit my system and make a check. But none of them came fwd... ( does bsnl people need extra allowance of petrol for visiting their customer's premises).. They send the bill, for my non usage of internet??? good show bsnl... if this is the way u run d show, audience will surely quit it asap...
how we find our account usage
I am holder of BSNL land line[protected] (Aluva exchange).I work for an on-line tutoring company as home tutor.I am unable to take classes now as there is frequent cable complaint. The skype connection often gets cutoff. Repeated complaints to the authorities concerned fails to yield results.If I am unable to pursue this that will be at the risk of 40000/- Rs and the job.

Hello sir, I am from Pondicherry.[protected], I have using BSNL-Dataone last 2 months, No Problem at all.. But Now a days when i chk my Usaage, its shows Very Heigh Usage of my downloads, but i didnt download above 200 MB in my Compueter past 5 days, and also shows Uploaded details Above 200mb, i was confused. My account pack is 500c+, 2.5 GB free usage, but now for the 5 days, its shows me i have used 1.5 GB, I dont know wht happed with my computer. Please Help me .sir

BSNL DATAONE — Poor Customer Service

I am Latha. I have taken a BSNL Data one connection (500 Combo Plan) some three months back in the name of my brother. First two months i received bill amount of around Rs.500 to 600.But i shocked to see my third month bill as it was gone to around Rs.3750. When i went to BSNL office to inquire about the same, nobody bothered to give me proper explanation as everyone is directing to someone else. All my efforts have gone in vain, so finally decided to change the plan to unlimited one on August 19 and did the same.
My net connection was not working properly after Changed to unlimited plan. I have given so many complaints to their customer service no.1500. But nobody turned up to resolve the issue. Moreover whenever i call their customer service, some song will be going or they put me on hold for long time. One day I got frustrated and called their customer service. One of their executive in the customer service spoke to me very rudely. Then one of the superior there compromised me and gave me divisional officer contact number[protected], whenever I call this number, no one bothered to pick the call.
I am totally unsatisfied with BSNL data one service and quality. Now i decided to take off the connection. But before that I want someone from BSNL to repair the MODEM as I have purchased the same for Rs.2000 from BSNL. My complaint was about not proper working of MODEM for which nobody turned at all. I want either new MODEM or adjust that 2000 in my bill amount as I can't do with that useless MODEM. Please do the needful at the earliest.

Now it is more than two years am waiting for the connection. When I approached unit in HSR Lay out, they told that the new lines has to be landline and till now they are lying a new line.
Now when I approached with regard to this, they are telling that the connection is got expired and I need to apply again.

Why? When I did not cancel the connection, how in the world it gets automatically disconnected?
Is it sold to some one? I need the connection immediately.
Am approaching the right of information to find out what happened to my connection?
Pl. solve my problem to get a new connection for which I am waiting for the past two years!! Shame on us that even in two years, we can not give one land line connection!!!
I am going to consumer court to get remedy if my appeal fails to get addressed
