sub:poor service of BSNL

sir,
we are the users of BSNL phone from past 8 years and we have broad band connection to. but the problem is phone and broadband both are not working from
29-3-08. we already lodged the complaint on 30-3-08, the complaint no.. is 1879
(B N Bhagyalakshmi ph no. [protected] sector A yelahanka new town bangalore 64. no body turned up, except one person he did only visual inspection and not assured any thing. mean while we tryed to contact Mr Nayak DG of yelahanka new town of BSNL on
4-04-08 and 5-04-08 at 3:30 pm, he was not there. because of this poor and worst service of BSNL we are fed up.
we are having association "CITIZENS FORM" at yelahanka new town, bangalore 64.
we regreate to inform you if the things is continuing like this there will not be any offen, you are forcing us to go for private connections like Airtel and others.

i do hope that within 24 hours the connections will be alright.

Sir / Madam,
we are the users of BSNL phone from past 10+ years and we are interested to go for broad band connection too.But the problem is our phone which was requested for Shifting from Ganapathi pura, Kanakapura road to Kaikondarahalli, Sarjapur road on 8th May is pending till date.

We have personally submitted the letter of shifting @ Jayanagar exchange on 8th May. Today we are on 18th June and regret the service incompletion.

We want to know the below now:

1. How much more time does BSNL requires for this shifting activity????

2. Whom should we contact for this activity (we have visited koramangala exchange, HSR layout exchange and Carmelram exchange near Kanneli several times but invain.

3. In case if there is any feasibility issues we need to look for some alternatives.

4. We came to know that our work order is released quite long back and then where exactly is the issue?????

Also with such attitude in this competitive world, you are forcing us to go for private connections like Airtel and others.

Looking forward in anticipation of a early / favourable reply & action from the concerned authorities

I just wanted to shift my home internet as well as phone line[protected]from Adugodi to Maruthi Nagar. It has become to 3 days that we could not find where to submit our application. Information given by customer care doesnt seem to be right one. As per information given by customer care i went to koramangala BDA complex telephone exchange they did not accept the application.

Can i also know how much time BSNL requires for shifting activity?

Even my existing internet is down from 1 month and no body turned up after talking to customer care so many times but they took 40 min to 1 hr in keeping us on hold.

Because of this bad service people are forced to goto private service. Note that its just because of BAD Service.

Kindly revert on this as early as possible.

we are the users of BSNL phone from past 5 month and since 5 months we have not seen our phone active for 1 week continously. we have broad band connection too but still we are using Hath way since 1 year.We have filed our phone shifting application one month before. we were told that it will be shifted in one week but still its not happened. today also we checked with HSR layout exchange and they said there is a line problem in in sector 2 but very next to our house is a house whose BSNL setup is working and there is not line problem. The exchange people dont want to work we went to the exchange today and there is no employee sitting in the office.

Looking forward for immigiate effect. Having hopes on you only else we have to get it disconnected.

    With reference to the subject cited above, I am to inform you that, I have a residence land line with Telephone No[protected] since 1999. I have made ECS for bill payments. Since than, I was receiving my telephone bills regularly. But for the few months it became irregular. But when I made efforts to alert the Postal department staff and to find out the reason for the same. I was informed that new house number allotted in our area of Begur village by the panchayath. Has been followed by postal authorities, hence, the telephone bills are not reaching to my address. As the house number in my telephone bill is with the old house number they were unable to deliver the same to my address.

    Hence, I request you to kindly rectify the same by adding the new house number in the address given on the bill as below so as to enable the prompt delivery. I am providing old address as well the present new address required to be replaced in my telephone bills in future. Kindly do the needful and oblige.

      Dear Sir,

      I am into real delimma that whether I should continue with BSNL or not . I have taken a BSNL pre paid connecion from Dehradun region, the problem is as soon as I enter Himachal region no network coverage, i do no have any signals on mobile .

      I have called BSNL customer care more than 40 times in last 8 months, several compalints have been lodged everytime I am assured that problem will be in solved in 24-48 hrs, but that 24-48 hrs have never come of BSNL. Last complaint was lodged on BSNL on Ist April 2008 vide complaint no D[protected] .

      If you can see to it would be great. I have lost my patience now. I am just waiting for one week more, otherwise I am shifting to some other operator.

        I always have some sort of server problem that does not allow me to access sites... Its my luck that I am able to connect and complain now... Its happening at least 20 days in a month...
        the broadband connection is very low speed.i fed up with this connection.please improve the speed.
        most of the time error shows 678 or error 619 even after no due payment.after repeat request to local authority, of brammapur exchange, joint box, kept outside of my residence, is not being considered and often we pray to them for the problem and some tips make it ok for some days. chronic problems is becoming uncureable.
        may i ask for permanent solution?

        Internet 256 - family plan — No connect till date

        Hi,

        My name is Akash Sethg and i am living in chinchwad (add- Q2/502 empire Estate new bombay pune highway, chinchwad, pune 411019). I have applied for TATA Indicom borad band internet connection 10 days back, verification for the same had been done. But till date no connect been provided I laos had a word with area manager Nishant regarding the same but no engineer came for making the connect or service avaliable. Kindly do the neeful else I might have to opt for other internet connection.

        Connection cut of every after 2 or 3 minutes. Quite disturbing.
        I have broad band connection 500C plane, more than 10000/Rs. I paid to bsnl related to broad band, but from December 2007 till today, not good service provided me.I made many telephones to department and booked several complaints against bsnl. there are not single response, it means bsnl cheating with me, or there are some surreptitiousness in the department related to service.
        it's always server down when i want to cheak Broadband Useage at bbservice.bsnl.in.so Take necessary step to make it easier to cheak how much i have used till date.
        the worst service is bsnl... itz about my new connection. i hardly used it not more that 8 hrs and mine is 750 plan unlimited. for past 10 days i'm suffering with this problem but no response. no one is peeping in to my problem.
        I have being using broandband connection of bsnl at evening times, i do not get connectivity continues it breaks quite frequently, even i have complained to bsnl still there is no fruitful result!...

        I kainhya parsad I leave in Sasaram Bihar, My phone number is[protected]. I am suffering from many problems related to bsnl brodband. My brodband connection is not able to connect thru internet. From 2months I m suffering from this problem.Till now more than 200 times I have complained about it but I have not goy any feedback.My problem was not solved.

        For past 3 months I am using broandband connection of bsnl. i do not get connectivity continuously it breaks quite frequently, even i have complained to bsnl many times still there is no fruitful result. Sir please set it right.
        Eversince I'd change of plan from Home1000 to Home250 in Aug 2008, I'm not able to check the bsnl usuage. After typing login ID & password & clicking on service records error message is being displayed since 01 Aug 08. It says "sorry, operation timed out. Please login again". Same problem exists even after several logins. Even after complaining several times to [protected] no positive answers were found. If anyone has solution, please let me know.

        I had applied for a Broad Band Connection from BSNL from last 3 Months I am behind the People in Kalanjoor Exchange, Pathanamthiita Dist, Kerala.Even I had mailed the same to AGM Pathanamthitta, AGM KOLLAM, AGM Trivandram.
        There is no use of doing it .Is BSNL supporting the private companies.I am doing a follow up every week there is no response.ALL EFFORTS ARE USELESS ..

        Broadband connection Excess charge

        I took BSNL homeplan 500 on 21 jul 08, i just used to 4 or 5 days for chating & email purpose, I got very shocking bill from bsnl that is Rs 6421/- Bsnl completely cheating with innocent people making excess bill amount. I complaint with bsnl but not use. They want their bill due amount only not listening my complaint or request. all efforts are waste.

        BSNL Broadband — plz disconnect my brodband connection now

        becuse there billing is very high 1st month bill is ok but after thate bill very high ihave not use extra net idont downloar any thing
        attn mr anilkumar dgm. ref my various tel calls to u for the past more than a month. i got a call from mr joseph that my complaint was settled last mon th. but to my surprise i am asked to pay aug bill of rs.1983 on 12 and 13 th inst though i was confirmed by ur office at v nagar that no amount was due and that aug bill of rs.1983 was wiped off. from dt of connection ie 18th june till 31.7.08 i had paid rs.2750 and rs.3881 totalling to approx 6631 ie for 40 days usage.now ur office is threatening to suspend tel conn. i am prepared to pay sep bill and pl remove rs.1981 paid in sept for july bill and not to charge for aug bill.ph 23151290. j dhilip. pl do not disconnect & help in not char aug bill

        Past Months We are using business 5000 plan (35 GB) (256 kbps upto 2 Mbps). Now we are change the plan for high speed connection the plan is business 4000 (2 mbps upto 8 mbps). The plan changed from 1.11.2008. after changing the plan we have very slow internet connection (max 160 Kbps).. before changing the plan we have (224 kbps)...         BSNL — BROADBAND EXCESS METRE COMPLAINT

        I HAD GIVEN MY WRITTEN APPLICATION AS REGARDS MY BROAD BAND EXECESS METRE COMPLAINT TO LOCAL BSNL COMPETENT AUTHORITY.
        INSTEAD OF PROVIDING ANY SOLUTION, THEY HAVE JUST GIVEN ME DETAILED BILL.
        I HAVE SHOWN SO MUCH UPLOAD CHARGES MADE TO MY CONNECTION AGAINST MY ACTUAL USAGE REGULAR BASE.
        This is a complaint from the number[protected]. I (Vasundhara)have given a complaint regarding the BROADBAND connection previously.I ll let you know about the problem once again.I have opted for 750 plus offer.Net gets connected from morning to evening and from 6 PM to 6 AM there will be no connection.Today (23rd Jan 2009) I received a call from a number[protected].This number is authorized to line man SAIRAJ. He shouted on me for giving the complaint and asked us to vacate the house and disconnect the connection.He asked us for commission of 500rupees for solving the problem.we didn’t give him so he is playing all dirty tricks. WHEN WE ARE FACING THE PROBLEM WHY SHOULD WE NOT GIVE THE COMPLAINT?
        Another officer by name KRISHNA is also not ready to rectify the problem.Both these people told us initially that there is a problem in the line connection and asked us NOT to opt for BSNL.WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE LINE CONNECTION THEN IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AUTHORITIES TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.There are 10 families who are facing this problem in our locality.Since these both are not solving, others are opting for airtel, reliance etc connections. My husband went to the office personally and met JTO MR.Satyanarayana garu.He asked my husband to give a written letter(comlaint) regarding the problem.Sometimes these people will not listen to him as well.He is the only person who is quite responsible in solving out problems.I think his age is around 65.Not only these both, the whole staff at RADHIKA branch in HYDERABAD are so irresponsible.If we go and ask about a problem everyone will refer the JTO to solve the problem instead of solving the problem.There will a long queue in front of his room.

        IF THE AUTHORITIES TAKE SOME ACTION THEN BSNL WILL BE THERE.
        IF WE ARE THERE THEN ONLY YOUR ORGANISATION IS THERE.
        BECAUSE OF SUCH KIND OF PEOPLE ONLY PRIVATE CONNECTIONS HAVE COME INTO THE MARKET.
        IF SERVICES ARE PROPERLY GIVEN THEN WHY PEOPLE OPT FOR OTHER CONNECTIONS?

        BSNL — new connection and internet

        i have already registered a complaint but i am unable to get any assistance by bsnl department in order to get the plan of Rs 250 per month for internet in wll phone and there is no support as they are themselves ignorant about the plan. I have many a times called to 1500 and they are also unable to support me.now i have got the instrument which supports internet but i am unable to get the plan activated on my phone.
        kindly look in to the matter as the problem is just because of some of the employees as they dont want to take the initiatives.

        Bsnl Broadband Connection — Not getting new connection even after lapse of one month.

        I have applied for BROADBAND connection in my existing telephone No[protected] on 02.04.09, vide, bill no. 118363 and deposited the requisite amount for start up 250 on the same date. But till today no connection has been given. Several enquiry yielded no result.

        I have availed a broadband nternet connection (attached to landline[protected]. During the initial periods, there were no problems. Now, we get the connection only intermittently. The service (maintenance) staff have replaced the modem stating that the complaint is due the complaint of the modem. Even after this, there is no improvement. When complained later, they have informed that the complaint is due to the fault in cable and they are trying to rectify the fault and make the system trouble-free immediately. Till now, the problem has not been solved. We are facing this problem for the past 3 months.

        I came to understand that numerous customers who took internet connection from BSNL are facing such problems. It may be due to the cheap quality of materials / equipments used. The maintenance staff expressed their helplessness in sorting out the problem.

        It is requested to seriously look into the matter and make a solution immediately.

        BSNL Broadband and Phone — Phone and Net Down from last 3 months

        Dear Sir,



        This is with ref to my earlier mail, my no[protected] earlier[protected] changed due to exchange changing as per BSNL Ghaziabad.

        My no and internet connection on this phone is dead from last 3 months . I
        tries each and every person there in Gzb Exchange ( SDO Mr. Rathi /////
        Mr Sanjeev -JTO, Area Manager -Mr. Ramit Morya//// Even DE Mr. Rajender Prasad-I think who is on leave) and almost all small people from people to Engineers, always NO REPLY and ONLY " WE ARE LOOKING IN TO MATTER", CALL ON THIS NO answers I heard.



        All people are in this exchange as per my opinion are Lazy Duffers and should be kicked out of the department if I would have been the HOD of the Department.



        This is my last mail to the department, look in to the matter and try to solve this otherwise return my deposit money and take your Bull Phone and Modem from my home ASAP. Each and every day I am frustrated and almost wasting my 10-15 calls from my mobile no.



        Your people are not picking even Mobile no . I hope BSNL provided them mobiles to play games on it.



        Your JTO Mr. Sanjeev responded very rudely while listening complaint . Boss we are paying for BSNL services and we are not here to Beg for our rights, we know how to take our rights from other people.

        I am using business UL 15000 Plus Plan ( 2 Mbps) for Browsing centre. for the past one month speed is very slow. apart from that for the past two days disconnected . ie. if two hour without any problem while browsing. suddenly connection was breaked 10 to 15 minitues. again connected and working properly.         I am a user of bsnl brodband connection from april 2008.And i am a seniour citizen and advocate of krishnagar judges courte.My broad band connection is not connected within a limited time.It takes time more than 2hrs for connected.Last day that was 6th august 2009 the connecting time was10hours.(5am to 3pm).I am lodging written the recent complain 6th august at 11.30am, and my complain no is f-6.And the reciving person post is jto(internal)krishnagar telephone exchange.And they promice to come and solve the problem within 12at noon.But they inform us that they have no technition to come at 2pm at the same day.And they again tell us thae they will come next day that is 7th august 2009.But till now 11am nobody came.My son is now in usa and my only communicating media is internet.various complian i am lodging But no responce.I am verbaly request the divisonal engeniour of krishnagar sited at nakshtra vaban, he send some person.They came my house and told that the instoling person was not the actually bsnl employee.Then sir who was the person? came my house and showing the bsnl official doccument for instoling the connection.I am paying the huge amount of internet bill.how can it possible sir ?please lookafter this matter and take the necesssary step .your service force me to take another internet service and also my land no.My personal mail id [protected]@gmail.com.I am waitng for early reply and kind service.

        I have taken the bsnl broadband connection in the mid july with the limited 2.5gb download limit plan (500 cplus), and in this plan they said it is free from night 2 am to morning 8 am . And I have used it in a proper n limited way so that it does not cross the download limit but to my shock when I saw the usage it was billed as 4 gb, that means it says I have crossed the limit and I have to pay an extra amount of 4000 rs which we havent used that much and the officials donot respond to it. I am a student and looking at this I am shocked because I cannot pay that huge amount and also I havent used that much. Please look in to the matter and help me because it can happen to anybody again.

        I am using BSNL Broadband connection for last three years and hope I will be counted as a privileged customer of your family.from last two weeks I have a huge problem with my connection. I cant access Broadband for a single time.My profession entirely depended upon Internet. So due to this problem I am facing a huge difficulty in my Job.
        I repeatedly complain at your service station over the phone, and launch the problem and automatically I have given proper BSNL docket nos.But never get a feed back from your side.
        I am getting really tired and frustrated with your service and that's why I am launching this comment. In my area, my other friend are also facing the same problem. And if it will continue, then we have to switch over to the other internet service. Every month, I am getting proper internet bill, and pay that in time without even access the internet.

        As per My request for a Broad band connection, you had been given a connection in the month of April 2010, but since the day it was not working properly, as per my complaint your service engineer from Kizhatur exchange who tried to rectified several times, but he could not solve the problem, finally as per his advice I made a return complaint to cancel the connection. that complaint I submitted in Perintalmanna customers care division, I paid the bill for 3 months, even without connection and price for modem also.
        I given back the modem which I purchased as per his instruction to Kizhatur exchange on July 2010. still the bill are coming that’s why I didn’t pay last 2 months bill, now BSNL disconnected my telephone, when I asked kizhatur exchange He said I will check commercial department, that’s only no any positive result from his side yet.
        This all problem created by Kizhatur exchange technical service engineer, he said I will make a report to BSNL to cancel your broad band connection because of error in connection.
        Therefore I hereby request you kindly refund the amount I spent initially, and reconnect my Telephone.

        In above reference I did 3-4 times call for broadband connection, but every time giving telephone number of another person. First I call on mobile no.[protected] then he gave me another mobile no.[protected] and he told that he will come soon but still now nobody came to my house for connection. I am a engineering student so like irresponsibility of your department I thought at starting stage before connection the service is very laziness then after connection what will happen about service.         This complain is regarding the activation of GAMES ON DEMAND on my internet connection..I recieved a call from BSNL customer care and i was informed that i can play free online games for 1 month(august).and later i can activate it for further use..
        But without my willingness, GAMES ON DEMAND was activated and bill of RS 200 is being charged along with my regular bill.i logged a complaint 2 months earlier, but no action has been taken...even this month i recieved high bill.

        BSNL landline-broadband connection — Broadband connection not given even after a lapse of 6 months

        My BSNL landline number is 24860294. I applied for this connection during November 2010 and the phone was installed in my house on 28.01.2011. Till date the broadband connection is not working despite various complaints, I get complaint number that is all. Still worse is the attitude of of the employees expect atleast Rs.200/- per visit to the house three or four person come when complained, does not rectify the fault but expect money.

        The very fact that I applied for broad band connection some time November 10 and till date no connection speaks volumes of the service of the service of BSNL. It is high time that BSNL be privatised on warfooting basis it the public at large is to benefit. Only Airtel providing broad band connection. Their service is good but they play the trick in the bill. Suddenly the customers are charged excess for the service they have not used. For customers is a choice between the devil and deep sea (ie., Choice between Airtel and BSNL)

        BSNL is the worst internet service provider of the nation. i am using its broadband service from last year in jharkhand at ranchi last week it was disconnected on the ground that one month bill is pending and this so called new rule is regulated from this month as the working of whole BSNL office has been shifted to KOLKATA FROM JHARKHAND so they dont know anything regarding this.
        there have been link fail problems always in bsnl but after they have connected the broadband(i.e after the payment of bill) i dont know what has happen to it . the speed of the internet is even less then that of their employee and at 1 minute it will get disconnected for 10 minutes
        My phone No-[protected] there is no one to see to the complaint and there is no response from the customer care department, and interestingly they will still charge the bill even though the broadband is not working at all practically, even while writing this complaint the link failed for three times.

But our connection has been barred. In response to our complaint they gave us a complaint No. [protected] on 3.04.2008. But still there is no response from their part. It is to our demise that most of the times some or the other connections do not work properly the assigned line man take the advantage of our urgency to correct the problem every time.               Hi,

              Linked my works with BSNL DATA ONE Broadband, just 29 days back, after getting tired over the service of sancharnet. From the day 1, I did not enjoy the speed, but facing frequent disconnection of line. Though authorities concerned, checked, physically upon my complaints, they left with no improvement, but stating connection given to other customers of my areas are functioning, well. Now, I did not leave sancharnet, as I do not see any problem, expect speed.

              According to their complaint on my browser, I just updated my browser (IE-7), freshly, still I do find the same problem of disconnection, frequently with the error message of 678 (Remote computer did not respond), 769 (The specified destination is not reachable), 619 (Connection to remote computer could not be accessible).

              Guidance from the experienced is solicited to restore the same.

              BSNL DataOne Broadband — Getting Disconnected Frequently

              For the past 3-4 days, my connection is getting disconnected frequently and once it is disconnected, it takes around 15-20 before I can reconnect again. Also the speed is very slow when connected, compared to what I used to get earlier.

              678 (Remote computer did not respond), =This is most common problems. It is due to poor connectivity. Problem can be anywhere between B.RAS - Tier 2 - DSLAM - Modem
              The case has to be referred to Area Broadband Team for attending the fault and nothing to do with your PC settings.

              769 (The specified destination is not reachable), := LAN is not Enabled

              619 is something I have never come across but if it is 691 = User id and Password problem.
              Remedy:
              The case is to be referred to Central Broadband Team (08.00 AM to 08.00 PM). Central Broadband Team will reset the password and intimate that password has been reset.

                I'm an IT trainer and fortunately or unfortunately I teach customer service to people and I experienced the most terrible customer service ever. I walked into the Koramangala, Bangalore BSNL Customer service office to apply and collect a USB Data Card for my laptop. I had to visit the office 7 times and every time I went there they would tell me they have no stocks or they'd tell me that there computers are not functioning so they can’t communicate to the concerned dept. The old lady there even shouted at me for being persistent and showing up so many times, although later she tells me that it happens because she has too much work(Not what I saw when I was there for hours unless you call talking over the phone a lot of work). I eventually got the USB Data Card and now came the issue of activating it. It's been two weeks now and calling customer care number and getting a hold of one person (and that was the only time I got to speak to someone) revealed that the work order was not sent from the customer care office in two weeks. There phones are never reachable and I don’t like to meet them just to get yelled by them.

                My opinion as a customer service trainer:
                1. Customer Service is an attitude and not something that can be enforced on one
                2. Please get rid of people who cannot and I mean literally cannot multi-task certainly for the fact that they are old. I don’t mean offense against elderly folks and I certainly respect them but there's a limit to what we can expect from them
                3. Someone has to make a conscious effort to improve the system. It doesn’t happen on its own, It’s not evolution its revolution that this country needs
                4. I see a lot of complaints against different departments in BSNL and a Google search will reveal hundreds of blogs that has everything negative to say about BSNL. My question is, what has any of it achieved? Here I am putting down a complaint and I wonder what it's going to fetch me. I sure hope this write up makes a difference somewhere, somehow.

                ITs too slow..giving only 40 60 kbps(kilo bits)...
                Actually i find this with most of the customer care centers or
                say shops where a customer is supposed to be treated as god.Apparently customers are treated as intruders here in Bangalore.I had a similar experience with BSNL .Can you imagine they asked me submit an application for a broadband connection.I felt as if i am applying for a ration card.Such an unprofessional attitude!

                I think such a center should be closed down.
                BSNL is although very poor in customer service, for the evdo card i got very good response from them. All some problem i had was some installation issues in vista and then few tweaks from www.bsnlevdo.in forums and things were rocking.. I suggest you bring this issue in public. You can also post to pgm cell
                Its very slow in between 10 to 20 kbps.. And doesnt connect to the server.. Connects after approx 10 to 15 attempts.. The red color always beeps on the evdo card regardless it connected..

                EVDO card is one of the excellent devices coming from BSNL. However, most of those in BSNL offices doesn't know anything about it though there are some technical engineers who could explain the services satisfactorily.
                It is a device with which one could avail very high speed, provided BSNL is willing. They cannot claim that their technology is outdated now.
                I am sure they can give uninterrupted & trouble free service satisfactory service even in 'Kerala' the land of dogs.

                I agree completely with the complaint.The staff at BSNL do not care about the customers at all.It mostly appears that BSNL Management doesn't care about retirement age.Frankly the whole government services and associated enterprises follow the same logic.The reason people who are interested in services put up with this attitude because their are no other options.If someone from Airtel, Tata Indicom is reads this review you have a set of customers waiting to buy these services from you if you provide them soon.I hope now that some of these areas will come under Mr Jyothiraditya Scindia and the congress youth wagon they will put some processes in place before the govt completes its term.

                I bought an EVDO card on 27th June 2007, after making a lot of enquiry about the speed and about the locations it was accessable... They (BSNL officials) promised me speeds of about 2mbps in EVDO locations and 144kbps in non-EVDO locations (they said it would give me atleast 56kbps). Now after purchasing the equipment (on out-right purchase) I'm having a very tough time with it. It neither keeps me connected atleast for an hour, nor gives me dail-up speed.. I had trouble with getting connected initially, after making a call to BSNL office it was cleared, but it never gives a consistent speed of even 25kbps.. it keeps fluctuating (very high fluctuations)... for loading a page like www.google.com, which t much content, it takes nearly a minute... I've made several visits to BSNL offices.. I even took my laptop and the EVDO card to a BSNL office to show them how it worked.. but with no proper solution.. I was told that most of the EVDO card users in Trivandrum have the same trouble at the moment and that it will be fixed soon.. and asked me to try using it for a week to see the difference in speed.. I'm fed up with this.. I'm planning to find a solution for this legally... any suggestion folks...??

                BSNL — Lack of respect to customer need

                I have been struggling to get decent support for the DSL connection from BSNL in Bangalore but with no luck (one of the complaints is[protected]. It's been 2 weeks now since I lost the connectivity. I call the support number every day. When the technician comes on line he asks me the standard questions and then puts me on hold. They never come back after that most likely. If they come back, they have no solution. More often than not they tell me there's a temporary problem in the area I live in without making any attempts to troubleshoot.
                Is there any way I can actually goto the call center and give them a piece of my mind? If not atleast give them coaching on customer support like what they do at Pizza hut!!!

                I have been using the EVDO since almost one month.I am really frustrated using this EVDO service. EVDO service never works properly except one or 2 days of week. When this service works in 2 two days, it is taking lots of time to render webpage. I have complained about it. but always get answer we have problem in server. Really they are charing more than Rs.800.Its really costly option and not worth it.

                Today I bought EVDO card so as of now neutral. It has an empty slot below the cover on the back.. I wonder if I am missing a simcard in it.. once device interface is started it shows good coverage, then after clicking on connect the coverage slowly drops down and finally (after seeing "an authentication event has occurred message) the complete coverage goes down and... The End!!

                I also fall under the same issue with BSNL EVDO service. I took this connection in February 2008. Right after a week, it started showing issues. I used to get disconnected once in 3-5 minutes (but the connection indication shows active) - when we get no display of pages, I needed to reconnect. This goes on continuously... And speed goes beyond normal dial-up. I too have complained with many people in BSNL.. nobody is interested to look into the complaints.. as they are so stupid to think that they get their salary whatever they do to their customers.. forgetting the fact that it is us, the customers who help to pay their salary.. their daily bread... its a good company with good network and all their investments have recovered... now no cost only revenue... if this goes like this.. all these stupid employees of BSNL will get laid off very soon... then they will realise the importance of SERVICE !!!

                So I do not think they are going to resolve this for you... sorry to say that you too fell a victim of EVDO, where BSNL has no technical know-how and each and every time.. people from China are required to attend the complaints..
                I also truble with my evdo. The speed is very low as there commit and nothing any knowledge in bsnl employee.
                Hi I have taken a EVDO card (Outright purchase) in Bhopal. It took me around 3 hrs to complete the formality at the office. (get the card from one officer, get the work order created, take the work order to another officer to generate a Ph number (virtual for billing only), take the Modem to 4th officer to configure it. ( i took my laptop with me make sure its working ).
                I can say i was lucky and things got going from the day one. I never got the speed to 2 mbps. But still i got the speed of 512 KBps. The connection was stable (around 4-5 hrs).
                But i observed one issue at times. The Internet won't work even when you are connected and with good signals (4 bars). Then i realised that If i connect the VPN (my office) then internet starts working. So it was more of the DNS server issue at BSNL.
                Any one interested to Purchase in Bhopal can go ahead . I have used it in Nehru Nagar area and Arera colony / Shahpura Area.
                I am still looking for the feedback of the people using the EVDO card in Pune?

                EVDO Speed depond upon distance of BTS tower from where u are reaching. I think the speed is well from 250kbps - 450 Kbps if you are 500 meters from the tower. but in Ranchi town (Jharkhand) lack of maintance the service is too poor, the BTS genrator is not working from six months. when the power off the evdo service go to hall. and BTS Care taker does not knowledge of EVDO. the machine of evdo service is very fine like USA, but neglect of BSNL Emplyee You say "Bandar Kai haat mai Damru"

                well I am a bsnl data card user the one that states that the maximum speed can go up to 144kbps. I am not denying the fact that the stated speed is never reached. but I would also like to state that I might just have been a lucky one coz my data card gives me speeds of around 18kbps at night. I know that sometimes it really turns out to be a harrasment when you try to apply for a bsnl product. but I would like to share this that my bsnl data card was delivered to me 2 days from the date I had submitted the application form(I can say this to you that even I was surprised to see such good customer care service).I am a resident of Kolkata. I would mark it as satisfactory given he pace at which the other data cards work. pls dont get angry with me. I am no person to say good/bad things about a company, but its just that I was sharing my experience with the product, just as the others are doing

                the worst service one can experience is by taking BSNL EVDO cards. un expressable problems i am facing. no proper trchnical knowledge at customer care executive. they never pick the call even if they do so vague answers are given.worst service i am getting speed of 3-4 kpbs . still any one wants to make adventure u are most welcome.

                i have been using the evdo since 2 feb 2008 and i am getting about 100kb/s avg speed .
                i thing evdo is the only which give u such great internet experiance in 550/- rs.
                worst customer service i ever seen! they did't know some basics ideas too... BSNL authorites shoul first teach them how to speak with the customers!!
                There is no customer care. I contacted many times over phone, brushing others they will come and attend my complaints this is many times happened. They never know technical problem or otherwise to allow technical persons to attend the complaint and solve. I bought the data card of 2 mpbs already over a month, till today the speed of 512 kbps not met. Why the BSNL propagated 2 mpbs i cannot understand. Please someone tell me about this.
                If i buy the EVDO i need to pay 550pm... Is it allowed for me not to use internet for a month and not pay 550 for the month and use it aagain the month after ?????
                I am using EVDO Card for 3 months here is Assanm. I got my Card the very next day I applied for it, and It was connected the same day it was handed over to me. Despite of very poor signal quality it delivers average surfing speed of 200Kbps and has delivered maximum of 550 Kbps till date. The customer service is also nice here. I have recieved sound responses from them.But ya sometimes it cannot connect with the server for few hours. I have faced it for about 5-6 times in these 3 months. When I complaint about that then they said that since the server is situated at Kolkata, which is about 1000Kms far from here, and that is why the problems are arising. But as a whole I have liked the service very much

                I am a resident of Tribeni, Hooghly, West Bengal. I have bought a EVDO data card on February 2009. BSNL promises a connection speed of 144 kbps. but till date I have not been able to connect at a speed higher than 20-30 kbps and after regular complaints to the customer care the only result that I got is the answer saying" we have a lack of towers . Your complain is being forwarded to the concerned department. Please bear with us for the timebeing." For normal surfing i sometimes can have a cup of tea or even a bath in the time a page opens. and downloaing!!! its terrible. an mp3 takes 4-5 hrs. and a movie 2.5 to 3 weeks. I am frustated.

                I have been using the EVDO since almost one month.I am really frustrated using this EVDO service. EVDO service never works properly except one or 2 days of week. When this service works in 2 two days, it is taking lots of time to render webpage. I have complained about it. but always get answer we have problem in server.                 Guys, all o[censored] those who are complaining should have cheked out the details before veturing out into any thing new. A little prudence in checking the reliance experience or for that matter tata indicom sets will reveal that the speeds on an avg will never reach even 45 kbps at certain places. It all depends on the place where u are located. Never the less for the prices offered by BSNL it is so far the best.
                I was googling on hsds like photon evdo and reliance netconnect. Reading all the reviews I guess I am better off with the cable broadband connection. Truly BSNL customer care is the worst and i experienced the same with airtel and reliance customer service. I guess they simply hire and fire rather than working on the softskills of their customer care specialists. Each conversation leaves a bitter taste. And as far as the speed goes why the hell do they put 2mbps speed while they can't even support 256kbps d/l. Its really not accepted. Hopefully they come up with some solutions about the net speed.
                I purchased a EDVO data Card for Rs. 2911/-. I have been using the EVDO for last fifteen days. I am really frustrated using this EVDO service. EVDO service never works properly except for Sundays. Though I am residing in Kolkata it is giving only 40 to 60 kbps most of the time. Cant even think about downloading. Please help.
                I have been this complain thing not working. Lets teach the people sitting there selling product and service a lesson. Always GO IN GROUP and scare those people, these people are the one representing the company so either they HAVE TO behave properly TO US and fulfil their responsibilties or WALK OUT of THIER JOB.

                    phone is always lying dead

                    My phone connection number is[protected] . It is a connection of shalimar garden branch(Sahibabad). I have got the connection in February 2008 .But 90% of the time the phone is out of order every week i have to file 2 ro 3 complaints then the phone become fine for a day or 2 then again the same cycle .

                    I have got the phone connection and the internet connection but never in my life i have seen such a miserable service .br...

                    My landline was not working for more than 15 days from 9th March to 28th March under Docket No.320. My Landline No. is 25549114. I was not able to make any urgent call and hence had to go out to STD booth to make calls. I request that the rental for the said period may be deducted from the bill due for the coming month.

                        God!! i really hate BSNL broadband services. i buy a modem paying Rs.2800/- before 2years.. now that its spoilt hes telling me they gave me that modem with some offer.. All ... and they give me some wired type1 probably modem that too making me pay 1000bucks.. Their customer service is just pathetic. I dont even kno my user id even after 2years . one that they gave me notifies me its invalid whenever i try checking my usage online. I want a type 2modem only. but unfortunately i have lost my receipt of payment when i bought the modem 2years back . Dont they keep track of those things.. PLEASE HELP

                          I have subscribed to BSNL Broad Band service phone number[protected]and I have not abeen able to access the service for last one month. I have dialled atlest a set of 10 numbers without any support. The toll free number given on the bill"1500" I finally got through the number after trying for $ hours> Mr. Karthik Raja gave me a complaint number, next day sombody called and said tht a field technician will come in, at 3;50 pm when nobody turnd up I called the same number to know that that the complaint has been closed by one Mr. Vinod without actioning on the issue. Supervisor Ms. Ambica has given me another complaint number stating that it will take 24 more hours to resolved the issue. I am dead frustrated with the lack of response and want to complain about the same.

                            I am a dataone custommer (HOME-250 PLAN) of BSNL since November 2005.I have never noticed such abnormal usage charge in past time what is happened in last four days[protected] to[protected].During this four days the upload/download usage is more than 3.0 GB which I know is completely absurd and illogical for home plan user like me.I have comlained immediately to the bill section of BSNL Durgapur, but no action had been taken.They have not made any clarification to me.What will I do.Suggest me.

                            Bsnl Broadband Connection — Abnormal delay on BSNL Broad Band Connection

                            Dear Sir / Madam

                            I introduce myself as a BSL Customer with Land Line connection. Iam residing at # 52, Kaidondarahalli, Near Bus Stop, Carmelram post, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore 560035.

                            My land line # is[protected], if first place this shifting from Kanakapura road to Sarjapura took more than 2 months & at last with great pains i got connection of the same.

                            Now on 2nd of August 2008 based on the above land line connection we have applied for Broad Band connection at BSNL Kormangalore Customer Service Centre situated in Kormangalore BDA Complex.

                            But it is quite surprising to note that it is alomost a month now and till now we have neither got the connection nr we have seen any sort of development in this regard.

                            AT LAST I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER WE WILL GET THE CONNECTION, IF YES WHEN???????????

                            If this is the situation for the initial connection itself what would be the service part next!!!

                            Trust i would get some reply from BSNL authorities for the delay

                            BSNL Broadband — Account usage site is useless

                            I am reporting this complaint inder landline No 22485035 attached to Pammal Exchange. Till yesterday "Account Usage site" shows utilised M.Bs so far. to-day when open my account usage it shows "No records found for Jan 2009".Iam now under 500 c Plus with a downloading of 2.5 G.B.Since the site is showing no records for jan 2009 can I proceed to downlaod 2.5 G.B for this jan 2009 from to-day.Where goes the transperency of this site. this has been the practice during last week of every month. Will the authorities look into it? Don't set aside this complaint, kindly take necessary steps to rectify the mistake. If you allow the customer to suffer like this, gradually cutomers will run out of your fold. kindly look in to it.

Throughout this period, I have paid the bill (around Rs. 450 - 600) only for the telephone speaking/minimum scheme charges that too mostly within the free call itself, I have not paid any amount towards interenet usage .i.e., the usage had been well within the prescribed limits under the scheme. But for the month of June, I was shocked to notice that my bill charges imposed by BSNL was Rs 8800/- I was further shocked to notice that internet browsing had been recorded continuosly through out almost on all days for a long period, even for the days we were not at home (my husband was hospitalised during the above period and nobody were at home but internet usage is recorded). Iam and my husband are employed and we leave home early and come back only in the late evenings.But usage is recorded during day time on week days too. Our usage on net is also very very minimum only.

                            I approached BSNL on this issue but I was informed that the technolgy cannot go wrong and the usage recordings have been examined and found in order and I have been instructed to pay the bill immediately. How can I pay such a huge amount for the usage that was not actually done by me?

                            Iam put into severe mental agony on this .I being a Govt servant and I resorted to BSNL owing to its genuine service . But if BSNL itself is like this where can we go? Iam helpless. Please help me and render justice on this issue.

                            Is there no alternate for that facility. Users are completely isolated from such broadband service...

                                Sir, i have been using BSNL post paid mobilse corporate CUG plan-299 with gprs plan-199 unlimited internet connection
                                they have sent me a bill of 5000 above in which roaming charges counts to 3000+ showing that my roaming outgoing call time is aroung134 hours which looks rubbish as i was in roaming for 7 days.
                                when i have contacted the bsnl office on 03.03.2008 for the first time, i was advised to request for an itemised bill and received it 0n 28.03.2008 after a series of phone calls to bsnl authorities and i was asked to send this bill to the concerned A.O. to settle the matter again. he asked me to fax the bill and i did so.

                                If they have billed me wrongly, i could not understand why i should again spend money and do all these to prove them and moreover they have barred my outgoing even before reaching the credit limit of 10000 thay provide me

                                i could find asingle person to whom i can contact and have my grievance solved in bsnl
                                also the same is the response from the bsnl customer care i.e., 24365
                                I just want My bill details ( Itemized bill ) of 3 months. ( March, April & may ) But I am unable to getting Itemized bill by internet.                                 i have bsnl landline phone. My no. is[protected].I made application for replace my old instument on 31 july at csc navrangpura inward no.511/7008. But till today i did not get any action from bsnl.I asked for new instrument they answered they did not know.

                                  I have applied for a new BSNL Land Line Connection with Broadband (900Package) on 22-March-2008. BSNL advertisements are staking tall claims that within a week phone/broadband connections would be given. But till now no response on my application. Call centre 1500 repeatedly says that the application is "In Process". Are we still living on that "Apply and wait for 10 Years to get a phone age ?" If this be the case why BSNL should waste Tax Payers money on advertisements. Why dont BSNL awaken and grow up to the competition, if not atleast spare Tax Payers money on enticing Ads.

                                  I have applied for BSNl UDL750+ unlimited plan 256 kpbs on[protected]. And I have not received anything from them.
                                  Then I contacted the office of BSNL Neelangarai.

                                  The one employee told me as secretly." We have received your application we have to be put the phone on within 3 days". But the working person who will connect the line to house. He is wasting time. Then I called him and asked about this. suddenly he came to my hosue within 10 minutes. and he checked all specialities and he assured that we will put the connection within 2 days. But still he is not coming to connect the line.

                                  BSNl is going very bad...
                                  I donno why these peoples even after being paid well, are not ready do their job. I wish that these kind of peoples and their kids never lead a happy life.

The modem was given on[protected]. I was surprised by the response from the BSNL. My friends have told me that it could take about 1-2 months to receive the connection and for modem another month.

My land line is connected and working but my internet has not been activated since 1 month however the adsl link is on. i can't access the net...they are taking ages to get it activated from there stoneaged server...
                                  Guess where there main server is...thats right bangalore--down south...whereas Ahmedabad is in the west.

                                  Why can't they have there server in various places which are near to consumers.

                                  ya, you are correct i too appled for a new connection, im living in tirur its area which comes under chennai tele. but the exchange people say that they do not have enough cable to provide a new connection in my area and those advice me to take a WLL connection which is a . I am gonna write a letter to chennai tele under RTI. you could also do the same.
