I CLOSED MY BROAD BAND CONNECTION ON[protected] AND SUBMITTED LAND LINE INSTRUMENT ETC., DUE TO THEIR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. SO FAR I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ADVACNCE AMT RS.500/-AND ABOVE.TILL DATE. I HAVE MET A O , BSNL, KAKINADA FOR MORE THAN 3 TIMES. EVERY TIME HE TOLD ME I WILL SEND DD AT AN EARLY DATE.

I AM REQUESTING YOU TO TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH CONCERNED GM AND TAKE SEVERE ACTION AGAINST THOSE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SENDING DRAFTS.

MY TELEPHONE NO.[protected], ON MY TRANSFER TO RAJKOT(GUJARAT) I SURENDERED THE INSTRUMENT/CONNECTION ON 29.04.2008 AT HOSUR TELEPHONE OFFICE, BUT TILL DATE I HAD NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND AMOUNT, INSPITE OF MANY REMINDERS/CALLS TO HOSUR/DHARMAPURI TELEPHONE OFFICES.     I always get the message like "thanks for subscribe the service with the activation charge" which is not constant but it starts from around Rs=20.
    I have already lodged complaint in customer care service but I did not get any result.

        I know many one who have just begun to reading this article start thinking how ridiculous to compare a Govt. owned nationwide ‘most reliable’ ISP with some crappy, buggy, unreliable ISPs that’s too provided and serviced by local cable operators provided. I know it’s a very natural to think so, even personally I also would think so. But after using one of them so called bogus service I was bound to change my thought. And after digging a bit with help of the experiences of many of my friends I have decided to share this with you people. Here this is.

        BSNL is a state owned, country’s largest broadband service provider and no doubt in many places it’s the one and only provider of broadband. As expected monopoly is also there. Still BSNL is continuously facing loss making if we consider the conditions in metropolitan area we can see that there are many ISPs. Some of them are provided by your local cable operators and they are performing very well in terms of price, reliability, performance, service and some other issues.



        I am going to explain all of these one by one. Before mentioning anything I should clear that the below mentioned data and information’s are based on my personal and some of them are collected from my friends from many parts of Kolkata. So it may vary from area to area, person to person. I just tried to give an outline rather than a direct comparison.

        Price:
        Price is one of the main and important issues. Surprisingly BSNL’s ADSL broadband plans are costlier (and BSNL charges skew high price for FTTx/FTTH that no home user can afford them). Even prices are very much outdated (2007’s price still now) where other state owned ISP MTNL is started providing 512 Kbps combo(BB + LL’s rental) at Rs.500, BSNL’s is still charging Rs.750. Same applicable on local cable provided BB’s plans also. Better look on the below table:



        * plans are still not updated in website but available through local cable operator.
        ** all above plans may vary a bit from operator to operator.

        In Kolkata there are some other ISP also, like Get Network, though none in my circle is using it, so can’t able to get the details of them. I also did not take inputs from wireless ISPs like Tikona, Meghbela Wireless or A1 Diginet.

        One of the main benefits is all these plans are prepaid. So, pay and use. Next month? Need higher speed? Just ask them to recharge your specific pack; speed will be increased in next second after recharge. This is very handy, unlike submission of application form and other bla bla from Govt Babus at BSNL.

        One of the other players of Hyderabad’s Beam Fiber is offering more lucrative plans like below:



        FUP Limits:



        There plenty of local broadband operators in India. They have also above like plans but as I was able to collect data from Kolkata based ISPs, so can’t able to mentions all of them tariff plans.

        Reliability:
        The above mentioned ISPs are operating around 5 years (+/-) in Kolkata. As I have seen they never increase plans costs suddenly or frequently. Rather price list is very much stable. It’s also true that some local operators charges few bucks extra (say Rs.50) as service/maintenance fee. But that’s all.

        Performance:
        Let’s come to the connectivity issue. First of all I m mentioning a speed test result. I should mention that all the below mentioned test are taken through speedtest.net and via Reliance Communication, Mumbai server.



        Look at the ping. Speed will be as per your opted pack. But BSNL’s ping is too high. This high ping may result in surfing and must not appropriate for online gaming and other stuffs.

        Again I m telling this results were taken randomly. In your area BSNL may perform well, but it happens somewhere (BSNL result has been taken from Madhyamgram).

        Service and some other issues:
        Personally, I am using one of the local broadband for more than 4 months. Its true problem occurs but rectifies in minimum time unlike BSNL. If your local cablewala dada is very much customer friendly, then you should have fewer problems. Your one phone call may solve your entire problem. If you are opting for long-term package, you may get some discounts like BSNL. Peering (will discuss in another article) also a profitable service you may get along with your local ISPs. Meghbela and Alliance provides extraordinary high speed over torrents via peering.

        So, at the end of the story I will just these ISPs are giving high competition to BSNL. Not only on metropolitan area, these ISPs also started offering their service on sub-urban areas in many parts. In rural area BSNL is only one to serve but still miles away to touch its expectations. It’s time for BSNL to improve their service, revising their package values and set up faster problem solving infrastructure. Otherwise who can say broadband monopoly is not going to be erased.

        BSNL broadband service in my home is not properly for the past 5--6 months. I have registered numerous complaints at their so called customer care. After 2--3 days the broadband works for a day or two & again it shows 'Request timed out' while pinging.
        Out of the 30 days in a month 20 days of problematic service or no internet service. Still nothing is done to rectify it. Now, im planning to quit BSNL broadband to avoid payment for literally no service

          I applied for BSNL network, that is telephone and broadband internet. They first connected the phone line and telephone, and after a few days, the modem and broadband. I could access internet till the evening but then DSL problems started occurring. I waited till the morning, and I could access internet till 9 PM continuously (Modem was on all the time) when the DSL problem started occurring. The same happened next day, and the day after that. I did complain but they said the problem is from Exchange and will be alright after a few days. I asked some of my friends who also have BSNL, and they did not have any such problems. It's 4th day now and the problem is still occurring.
          I was using Airtel IPTV before and there was never any such problem with Airtel. NEVER!

            Recharged my number with Rs. 301 internet pack under 2G, well earlier used to get better speed but now its useless dumb speed I am getting. Due to which even simple HTML pages like UPSC website take time to load. Even unnecessary BT tune subscription is so annoying as far as call centre is concerned always states they are busy attending other clients even the same scenario even after waiting for half an hour. Pathetic speed as well as service. Why don't they improve or optimize their service? Fine BT tunes can be deactivated manually but atleast they should work on speed issue. Sshhs...

              u/r BSNL a/c is credited with Rs. 125 as Recharge from [protected] on 28/03/2013
              at 08:12:11 AM hours. Ref No. [protected]. Actually I didn't get the benefit of 2000mb data for recharging that amount..wen I contacted bsnl customer care thy didn't responded well they gave a complaint no c29ap339392..and said recharge not done properly its a paytm mistake...

              Wen I contacted paytm they said we contacted bsnl care they said the mobile no [protected] is recharged successfully with rc125 n gave them a operator code [protected]...

              i have recharged my mobile on 28th march 8.00 a.m from online recharge site named PAYTM . i didnt get recharged for a long time and my money has been debited from my sbi account. i have payed the money by entering my debit card details . from on that day i have been mailing to their customer care id [protected]@paytm.com regarding to the problem which i have faced.. they are not responding to me anyway. i have recharged my mobile on 28th march 8.00 a.m from online recharge site named PAYTM . i didnt get recharged for a long time and my money has been debited from my sbi account. i have payed the money by entering my debit card details . from on that day i have been mailing to their customer care id [protected]@paytm.com regarding to the problem which i have faced.. they are not responding to me anyway. i have lost rs155(30+125) from my account... so please do the favour for me....this is the ticket no:[protected]...which they have given to me... my bank txn ids are :[protected] ,[protected]. and the order nos given by the paytm site for rs 30 recharge is 83527446 and for rs 125 is 83531685...so please do the needful..

              BSNL — recharge failure

              I recharged my no [protected] with Rs50 on 17st august. It has not been recharged and Rs 50 has been debited from my online account. Please refund my Rs 50...

                Recently I upgraded my computer with a change of my browser from windows7 to windows8. With this I am not able to see my bsnl facilities & broadband usage. I have already registered on the site ' selfcare.wdc.bsnl.in '.By logging in ,the page with my name is opening, but other contents are not seen.I am not able to see my broadband usage. I had already sent a mail from satara road BSNL office near Panchami hotel.What may be the reason? Earlier I was able to use the site regularly. Kindly help.

                    Hi Sir / Mam

                    I bought a Penta WS708c Tab from Snap Deal against order no:[protected] date:- 14 / 03/ 2013 and I paid cash money Rs. 6580 for this tab.

                    It was delivered 15/03/2013 or 16/03/2013 thru blue dart courier and tab was not in working when I open the box.

                    After chat with Snap deal person I went Penta authorised service centre PARK NETWORK LIMITED , 4th floor Nehru place.

                    They change this product and issue me new tab on Date 25th March 2013,

                    Chage tablet also having a soud problem.

                    Not PARK NETWORK LIMITED issue me a job sheet and told me to get the replacement from SNAP Deal.

                    Snap deal is not taking any responsibility and saying that Job letter isuued by Part Network is not a DOA Letter.

                    Part network is telling that this is the DOA latter and they will not issue any other letter

                    PENTA Technology person said that Snap Deal will provide you replacement and DOA letter to you.

                    I'm suffering from last 15-16 days after paid money to sanp deal.

                    Kindly do the needful.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          On my BSNL prepaid nos [protected] and [protected], every month BSNL deduct amount approximately 35 to 40 rupees.
                          In march BSNL deducted Rs 20 for easy vault service, Rs 5 for Miss India, Rs 5 for cricket news.
                          But I never subscribed to these services, when I called customer care, they told me that system can not show any detail at this time, please call after some time. I called them more then 10 times, but they don't want to listen about my problem.
                          When I send message for Unsubscribe these services the reply was "there is no service activated on your No".
                          Please help me, I cant bear this much of amount to be deducted from my mobile unnecessarily.

                            As we are 10 customer together Applied for Landline connection at our home in Society named as Sahyognagar, Survey no. 3/1, Antarjal, Mundra Road, Adipur- Gandhidham.

                            Adipur BSNL Officials told us that we doesnt have grant for new work. so you have to do the digging & poll fitting work on your cost. We are done it as per the officials instruction.

                            Moreover about the new connection they are told us that, Rs. 500/- as security deposite, 200/- as cellone plan you have to charged. One SIM Card & Phone device is provide by the BSNL.

                            No SIM Card & Phone device are provide till date.

                            in first bill we found that
                            Rs. 750/- are charged as Installation charges +
                            Rs. 500/- As security Deposite +
                            Rs. 200/- As Monthly Charge+
                            Rs. ___/- As Service tax

                            In above charges Rs. 750/- are as installation charge but in BSNL website it shows Rs. 500/-

                            Moreover the installation work are done by the society persons expense & cost, than how can BSNL charge it ?

                            No any of Adipur official are informed us before the connection. We feel like they are done fraud with us.
                            We verbally communicate with the local officials but does not get proper answer.

                            this is the problem of all 10 customer . Pl z do the need full.

                            BSNL Landline — Improper installation

                            My landline 23731212 has been recently installed at my bedroom in my absence, with the wire protruding on the floor from window to the connection point. I asked the line man, when he came for the connection to fix it in hall or in the bed room with the junction box, so that no wire is on the floor causing us to fall accidentally. He promised to come back the next day and so fat has not turned up. A complaint has been lodged already online. But no use so far. planning to get the phone disconnected.

                            BSNL Landline — Charged for the Non-Usage

                            Hi,

                            I was submitted a request to get a BSNL landline + Broadband connection on July 28, 2011 and got the landline connection on the immediate next day (July 29, 2011).

                            I have requested them (Chromepet BSNL Office) to cancel my whole subscription on August second week, since till that day i have got any Modem to use.

                            After 3 months, now they have been charged Rs.397 for the usage.Meanwhile they have contaced me to check check for the connection and all and i replied them that the request was cancelled already.

                            The Number they have assigned to me is 22414070.

                            Help me to solve this out.
                            My landline phone No. 260365 has been out of order since last one week. There is no response on contacting telephone fault No. 260198. Please rectify the fault and make the telephone operational immediately.

                            A line of action taken may be intimated.

                                Pls lodge my complaint against BSNL, our company M/S TEEKNITS, using 6 connection of BSNL some time our firm suffering very deifficulty from BSNL due to poor services, Everyday our Internet connection dropped and our so many complaint department do not care this when they send line man or engineer they required chai pani (i.e. some money) for re connect and after few days connection dropped, our firm is export unit all buyer's contact depend on internet due to BSNL poor services we suffering very big harrasment. recently we lodged the some complaint as below

                                BSNL Telephone Connection — Poor Response from BSNL

                                I am genuine beleiver of P&T, erstwhile BSNL which is one of the fastest growing industry in India, i.e Telecom.

                                I have had this connection since 2003 and i am not at all happy with the response BSNL offers me. In fact my connection which is situated on north of Bangalore, is giving intermittent problem. When ever i give the complaint 'online' i only register the complaint but i am afraid, my problem is not got resolved. I would like to have resolve on a war footing step.

MY LAND PHONE[protected] UNDER JURISDICTION OF DIVISIONAL EXECUTIVE ENGINEER KADAMPANAD IS NON FUNCTIONAL SINCE 13 FEB 2008 (.) SEVERAL COMPLAINTS BY MY FAMILY ON DAILY BASIS AND PERSONAL VISIT DURING MY 10 DAYS CASUAL LEAVE (THREE TIMES) WITH DIVISIONAL EXECUTIVE ENGINEER KADAMPANAD COMMA NO REPEAT NO ACTION SO FAR (.) BEING ONLY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION WITH FAMILY REQUEST TAKE NECESSARY ACTION TO RESTORE TELEPHONE IMMEDIATELY (.) INTIMATED FROM HOME THAT MINIMUM TELE RENTAL CHARGE FROM 01 FEB 08 TO 31 MAR 08 RECEIVED AND BEING PAID (.) REQUEST DIRECT CONCERNED AUTHORITIES TO EXEMPT FROM PAYING RENT BILL FOR THE PERIOD FROM 13 FEB 2008 TO TILL RESTORATION OF PHONE (.) EARLY REPLY/ACTION REQUESTED

                                BSNL Telephone Connection — very very very poor services

                                I have BSNL telephone connection No[protected]Indore M.P.) and using this since last 20 years.
                                I am having broad band facility also with this phone. Since last 2-3 years I am facing problem and very fequerently it going out of order due to faulty line and their poor service. They have provided line wtih drop wire which being used in houses. I had to make complaints now and than and there service was so bad that some times they take number of weeks to repair the fault. I had personnely met with GM and also given written complaints but of no use, even they have to response to replay to me. My suggestion to public if they want to invite problem pl take BSNL connection.

                                BSNL Broadband and landline — VERY VERY POOR AND FRUSTRATING SERVICE

                                I'm Ashutosh Kumar Shukla, and have had a Broadband connection since quest a few years. Its on my Father's name, And we've been having problem with our BSNL Landline and BSNL Broadband (DataOne). I think its rude to say, But on the other hand if I don't I might just not reveal my Problem. Its been like this for over 5-6 months, They just cut off our lines even if the bill payment is a day late, and when it comes to service, we are having broadband problem every few days, its like if it works for 5 days, it will definitely go off for like Sundays, and as usual we can't even call the costumer service on the Sundays {[(ASK WHY? BECAUSE THE OFFICE IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS DUMMY~! ♪)]} if luckily its not a Sunday at the costumer care they keep on saying "Aap to kahiye, hame to sun na padega", Now what am I supposed to do with this frustrating behavior, They just get on my nerve, saying its the problem from the >>MEDIA<< {[(I DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT PART, WHY IS IT THAT ONLY BSNL HAVE THESE PROBLEMS? WHY NOT AIRTEL OR IDEA?)]}, or sometimes, "YA YA ITS THE PROBLEM WITH THE EXCHANGE" or "PROBLEM WITH AREA"

                                AND I'M TELLING YOU, THIS IS GETTING ON MY NERVES TT_TT *sobs*

                                what am I getting by giving 900INR every month? >>> UNSTABLE BROADBAND CONNECTION!!! <<<

                                and not to mention the telephone, You can't literally hear anything what the guy on the other side of the telephone is saying... SO MUCH DISTURBANCE

                                DAMN!!!!!!!! I GOT DISCONNECTED AGAIN WRITING THIS COMPLAINT!!!!!!!!!!!

                                BSNL broadband and landline worst service — poor service

                                Dear Sir ,

                                My land line and broad band is not working properly from last 1 month whenever i make
                                complaint they assured me with in one day your complaints will be done but it wil take
                                near about 4-6 days but after some days again its dead this procedure is continued from last 1year
                                and i am very harassed with this BSNL service i never expected this kind of service from BSNL
                                Also i talk to some senior person of BSNL dept of that area like Mr Bhargav and Mr. Khan(SDO) but they
                                also never give me satisfactory response and take a lot of time to attend my complaints .
                                My ph no is[protected] and also i register a complaint lot of time one compl . no is 45765(15 oct 09) is still in pending .My broadband is not working
                                pls see the matter and do the needful.

                                B.S.N.L. — conplaint of landline phone

                                i have lodge a complaint regarding my phone,but company did not solve it.i asked many time to its employ named MANNA .But he did not give me satisfactory answer.this fault in my phone nearly 40 days ago.At last i lodge a complaint on 198.my complaint number is2037.please solve my problem as early as possible.i shall be very thankful to u.my mobile no. is [protected].

                                connect internet and phone — poor poor services

                                Hi this is surinder singh. I am facing problem from long time regarding connect internet and phone. both services r always down some time they take 3 to 5 days to solve. I already email to there higher department twice and many times on phone but no result most of the time I call private technician to solve that. I lost my a lot of money Beacouse of them and I always get low speed as they committed me.I m in big trouble my cell no. Is [protected] and my connect phone no. Is[protected]

                                  SIR, i am a BSNL mobile subscriber with mobile no [protected] in agra UP (W). i have active DND Service on my number even then repeatedly my balance is getting deducted by activating VAS service with out my consent, the worst thing is that even after repeated complaints the service is always getting reactivated on my number and always i loose my balance and none of the customer care executives respond properly nor i had refunded any yet.

                                  BSNL — DEDUCTION FOR PAYABLE SERVICE WITHOUT CONSENT

                                  I'm a customer of BSNL prepaid mobile phone service named CELL1. 1 week ago when I was on roaming, BSNL deducted my balance of 25 Rs the subsription charge of mobile radio but I clearly instructed them to deactivate the service at proper time by calling in customer care but they said its not possible to deactivate the service. Now I want my balance back.

                                  waiting for a favourable action soon.
                                  i am also facing the very same problem mentioned by the subscriber, how can i resolve this problem...

                                  BSNL — Deduction of balance without my consent

                                  They are deducting my balance Rs. 20/- for the last four/five month through utility service called Easy vault phn bckup without my consent. When I tried to complain through their call centre it is already closed. They are just cheating the customers. Please help on the issue

                                    sub: slow internet speed

                                    I have got the WIMAX Internet connection from 18.02.2013 and using it.But from that day onward the speed is very slow , giving around 50 kbps. I have an unlimited plan( HOWI 750) which promises a speed of 512 kbps. As per the regulation on “Quality of Service standards for Broadband Services” issued by TRAI on 6th May, 2006, a subscriber should get minimum 80% of the subscribed broadband connection speed from ISP Node to user. Which means i am not even getting the speed guidelined by TRAI. I have logged many complaints on nearby exchange but no steps has been taken to increase my speed. So i kindly request you to look into my promblem and rectify it as soon as possible.

                                      my landline no. is[protected]. and it is not working properly from last 8 months. i m totaly upset about that. many times i complan in BSNL Office and these numbers[protected],[protected],[protected] My complaint No. is:-[protected][protected] but no received any reply till now.. And now my BSNL phone is not working from last days My Complan no. is 1089179.For the last 3days we have booked complaint of this line but not a single lineman has arrived to check the fault...

                                        My BSNL land line connection no.[protected] is not working for the past two weeks.I 've already registered several complaints since the phone was dead.I have also contacted the authority personally and I got response from them that they are checking out the connections and the problem will be solved soon.But it's been another one week after that response from the authority and no action has been taken since now.I 've always seen that the BSNL authority is so concerned about the payment of the bills and the imposing of fines but not so good at costumer satisfaction. I hope the authorized will see to this problem and make a solution ASAP.
                                        my land line is dead from past 1 week , correct as early as possible. my land line no. is 26728514
                                        My land line no is[protected].This line is also dead since last 5 days.My Doct no is M-5708 dt 09.11.09. This land line remains dead for at least 15 days every month, but the bill is being paid regularly on time.I can not find any reason for this.I have seen the D.P.Box and found it open and within the reach of people. This landline also have a Broadband connection, which effects all my works when the line is dead. Kindly look into the matter otherwise I will have to withdraw the landline from BSNL.
                                        Sir i have land phone, but not working from 7/8 months because some one was take the post of landline.i have complain many time but no action have taken, i have inform to our local S.D.O.But nothing will happend
