[Resolved]  Citibank Credit Card — Statement is not on time, Bank is charging extra money as late payment

Hello Sir/Madam,

My Self Pankaj Kumar Gautam is a Credit Card Holder of Citi Bank.
I have some problems and doubts with my Credit Card,

(1)- I made a purchase of Rs. 40,000.00/ in month of November, which was having 4 installement of 1 x 20,000.00/ and 3 x 6667.00/.
I got the statement in mont of December 2007 at time, made payment on time Rs. 20152.00/.

(2)- After that, I never got any statement by POST or email, while my email address is already register in their system, and I am continously getting mails from Citi Bank Corporation about shopping offers and Credit limit Increase.

(3)- Today, I made a call at Citi Bank's call center, then came to know, I have a huge amount of late payment due to payment is not made in month of January.
and my email address is wrong entered in Bank's system as pankaj.[protected]@viragelogic.co, here m is being missed, and the person who attended me, told that system is sending me statements from normal post and email also.
Please consider the condition,

With wrong email address Bank is not getting any Failure Notification.
Every private organizations web addresses are ending with .com not by .co
How I am getting offers and Notification emails from Banks system.

This situation is really harrasing me to pay extra money as late amount, and copeing with Banks system's mistake.

If this is the way of Bank for business and earning money, I will not suggest any person to use Citi Bank's Credit Card.

And one more thing, I am bound by Citi Bank to continue with Medical Insurance, while I was not interested to have this policy at time of phone call. The person who was telling me at phone about this policy, was in so hurry. After explaining the plan, told "OK Mr. Gautam, Your Policy will start from next month, Thank you Have a nice day." and cut the phone without asking my permission.

So many time, I have requested to stop this policy, but every time getting failure because some one is telling me
I have to request at Chennai office, some one is asking my previous payment made, and so many different excuses.

I will really appreciate, if you can help me.

I am Gautam Sharma having a Credit Card from Citi Bank bearing Card No.
[protected].I would Like to inform you that I have not received my
statement as up now. Today 19-12-09 i got a call from your D.S.A regarding
the payment and they are saying that i need to pay 3000/- to continue my
card b-cos the card is blocked. I am really shocked to know that my card
is blocked without any information . I made a purchase of 1200/-rs on
which i have to pay now 1800/-rs as an intrest b-cos of you people that i
have not received my statement & without informing me you people have
declared me defaulter and my card is blocked.I am ready to pay the
purchasing amount of rs 1200/- but i will not be paying intrest on that.
This situation is really harrasing me to pay extra money as late amount,
and copeing with Banks system's mistake.

citibank financials — tele-harrasment - mistaken identity

I have been getting fone calls for some Jagdish from these numbers since last year .

Despite clarifying everytime repeatedly that I am not Jagdish,They still keep calling me and asking for Jagdish . They fone at any time of the day be it at 10 am or 3pm or 8pm.
I feel very much mentally disturbed.

maruthi medicals — charging extra money

dear sir, this maruthi medical store, in maruthi nagar, near yelahanka is selling drugs for extra money even without prescription, that is they charge more money than the max retail price. and also they dont give the bil, if we ask for the bil, they'll bill book is over, come tomorrow. as there is a hospital next to it, many patients buy the drugs there and i'm sure he'l not b giving bill to even a single one..

medical offers — not interested

dear sir,
yesterday one female from your organisation contacted me in the morning while i was working in my office and told me that i have been selected by iho for some free special package of medical offers,money card & gift vouchers which was absolutely free. i asked her time and again that i will not be interested in the offer if there is any payment or charges.but she told me that i was been specially selected for this offer and that it was new promotional offer, which is absolutely FREE.
then in the evening i was contacted by one mr.abhishek for some credit card verification which i was using. so i gave him my citibank credit card details through the ivr validiation procedure.
then i enquired with mr.abhishek that please explain to me what this offer really is, as i could not have a clear understanding of the conversation i had with the female in the morning. Then mr.abhishek told me about the various discounts available,money card and gift vouchers and that my citibank credit card is debited for an amount of Rs.4400/- for one year's membership.I WAS TERRIBLY SHOCKED. i told mr.abhishek that the female who contacted me told that the offer is absolutely FREE and now you are telling that my credit card has been debited by an amount of Rs.4400/- IN WHICH I AM NOT INTERESTED AT ALL AND I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED AND MY MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED AND NOT TO SEND ANY WELCOME KIT FROM YOUR ORAGANISATION. FOR WHICH MR.ABHISHEK TOLD ME THAT HE WILL CONTACTING ME TODAY AFTER 9.00 AM. AND TILL NOW THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM HIM. City bank card Chennai — Non response for credit card

I received a credit card replacing existing visa ,valid from 9/11card8607.When i called on phone 28522484 chennai customer care , the recorded message says it could not read the card.I have not received IPIN and when i tried to register on line ,it also did fail.Hence i have written to city Bank,ANNASALAI.Chennai asking them to look into this.
Kindly look in to correctness,genuine s of card issued and see that IPIN is allotted.I have not transacted on the new credit card mentioned above.
