respected sir/mdm i am lekh ram sagar, resident of karol bagh, dev nagar near shiv mandir. i am putting complaint on behalf of my whole society of Block-12, govt qtrs double storey. here we are suffering from sewage problems and poor cleanliness since ages. we have requested m.c.d people many times but nobody bothered to take action even once. laterine wastes enter in front of the gate of our society .It seems like it smells alot in such a way we cnt even breathe properly.kindly look into matters as soon as possible because poor cleanliness is affecting the health of the resident of our area. lekh ram sagar secretary RWA [protected]

sir, I am living in street no.05 near Chota Shiv Mandir, Mahavir Enclave, there is irregular MCD supply water since beginning. There is huge shortage of water and supply is very much irregular it is not possible to fill water from the tanker since we are working couple. We will be very grateful to you Thanking you, Regards

Hi, My name is Naval, I am from Delhi.My Mobile no. is [protected] & email id is [protected]@gmail.com I applied for new water connection for my my home (S-41, Pandav Nagar, Delhi - 110092) on 14 August 2013. As per DJB website (http://delhijalboard.nic.in/djbdocs/consumer/w_con.htm), consumer will get receipt to pay for new water connection in a week. In my case a person came to my home from DJB to verify about new water connection request after two weeks, he was asking for bribe to process my file ahead. I did not give any bribe at that time. Then another day my father went to ZRO office at Preet Vihar in Delhi. My father talked to ZRO, ZRO told talked to clerk about file, Clerk gave a mobile number of concern person who had our file. My father talked at that mobile number, that person was same guy who came to my home for bribe. The DJB guy told to my father if you would give me money than only i will process your file.It almost 1 month passed. There is no response from DJB. My father went four times DJB office of Preet Vihar. Everybody is telling we will work after getting bribe. I s there any number or email id about bribe complaint for DJB. Is DJB office open on Saturday for complaint. Please provide as much information as possible...

Dear Sir, i am resident of C block jaitpur extn, part 1 badarpur new delhi 110044 from 2-3 months water supply is bad and the water which is giving to us is very very smelly , it produces foam when we pour it in a bucket its colour is partially black which is not suitable for drinking and even not for bathing or washing clothes so i have request to delhi jal board official kindly check the supply and contamination of water our and our peoples life is in danger beacause this water

he complaint is that in my village opposite h.no 251 nawada new, delhi-59 west delhi sever is block we also made complaint in delhi jal board ccr jandewalan office my complaint no is 13463, 13666, 13691, 14210, 14295 dated 16th july 2013 to 30th july 2013 but till now no action is taken by delhi jal board authority. so i want to register my complaint on this behalf so that quick action will be taken

this is a humble request to you sir,
that our underground sewer (nali) is blocker due to sum blockage . so, i humbly request you to plz help us to find a way out as the unhygenic smell of sewer is coming out which makes a difficulty to breath. i hope you can understand our problem.

Insite of the fact that New meter was fitted after getting it checked at DJB office in October 2011, the bill onaverage basis are being sent fo payment.Not a single drop of ater was used since then as no one lives in the flat. Please look into the matter on priority basis and request be solved

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of Mahipalpur (South-West Delhi) . I want you to know that our colony is facing a Huge shortage of water irrespective we are paying water bill to govt. . But still then we are filling water from water tanker by the means of Bucket.
From the past 9 months we are dealing with the private water tanker by giving Rs 700 for 5000 l twice a week. But now as our leaders have seal the bore of private water tanker by giving them a 1 month ultimatum so now they are offering a huge amount for the same, I request you to please take some action in this regard so that we can use water for basic needs.

We took 3 new water connections from DJB(Delhi Jal Board). 2 people came and changed the meter accordingly saying that was the latest meter. Yesterday 4 people came to our house for meter reading and as per them the meter reading has crossed 9000 units which is quite impossible to achieve this target within 3 weeks of the new connection been done. As per them these meters are faulty and we need to replace them. They again tried to loot Rs2000 for the new meters. They even tried to warn if we don't change the meter, they will report the meters are right and would bill us accordingly.

This kind of mafia operated work is going on by DJB and also no one is there to listen this complaints as well.

Hi,

We have been facing severe water contamination issue in Fateh nagar, west delhi area since 2-3 weeks.
Have complained to Delhi Jal Board and followed up with them multiple times. But there is no improvement in the condition.

Last year in summers we did not get water supply for 1-2 months, this year in mid April itself, this new water problem has started.
This water can not be used for washing and cleaning also, how to drink it?

The quality of water is like sewage, it is black in color and smelly.
One member of the family has already been hospitalized due to diarohea, today another member has started feeling stomach issues.

How long can we sustain on such water?

I was apply a new water connection in DJB office ,Shahdara(Delhi) on dated 06.03.13 (Diary No. 3409). Sir/ Madam I am personally visit to DJB office Shahdara more time but my connection file not showing his record after 05.04.13.DJB official talk me " your file send to JE office " after that I call to Mr. Praveen Verma/JE/DJB , As per Mr. Praveen Verma office record my file return back after serve report to DJB Seelampur office on dt. 11.04.13 ,but i am not find same file Seelampur office , Seelampur official staff advice me your file can submitted Shahdara office but my file not find in Shahdara office. Sir/ Madam both official staff not given satisfactory answer for the same matter.Sir/ Madam i am very heart by DJB office so please help me for same matter.

am facing the problem of water from last one year, one year back the pipe line of delhi jal board has been installed in our GALI, but till the no water inflow in the pipe line from delhi jal board....i had many time sms to 53030 from my mobile [protected] to resolve the problem but not solution till the time.....so reqeusted to check with delhi jal board and resolve on asap .....because the minmum water is required on daily basis to our normal life.

Dear Sir/Ma'am
I am resident of f block vishwash park in uttam nagar and we are having problem of stinky/gutter water which has been coming for one month. It is not potable water which may sick us.

We are suffering this problem and our pipe has been blocked due to stinky/gutter water. This same problem having around area and people taking water on rent. We have got changed two times our pipe connection and make clean inside pipe water supply but it is not possible until water is not clean.
I hope you would take legal action against this Serious matter.

I am Mr. G.T.Vasudevan Nair, KNO.no: [protected] residing at Laxmi Nagar has paid a bill of Rs. 1179/- (bill no.[protected] from the time period of 17 March – 30th June 2012 on November 2012. In the month of January 2013 again received a bill from Delhi Jal Board of Rs. 7790/- (bill.no.[protected] from the time period 2nd May to October 2012.

Whereas I have already paid till 30th June 2012 on November 2012 and still such a inflated bill for water has been claimed by Delhi Jal Board for 3 months.

I hail from a middle class family and such a errors and inflated water bills are unacceptable as well as impossible to pay off.

I want to bring to your kind notice that I have a jal board connection number [protected] installed at my residence F 4/18 Model Town Delhi 110009. The new k number for this connection is [protected]. I have already requested vide my earlier letter dated 7.5.2012, 28.6.12 and 21.1.2013 that no one was residing in this house from Jan 2002 to March 2008. I had enclosed a copy of the new electricity connection in support of this. From March 2008 onwards I have made the payment of Rs[protected]+25000) under threat that if don’t make the payment my connection will be disconnected. DJB officials who came to disconnect my connection I had requested them to send me the correct bil. It may not be out of place to mention that only two persons are residing in this house.

I had written first to Zonal Regional Officer, Delhi Jal Board North West IV Kewal Park Delhi then to The Joint Director Delhi Jal Board Varunalaya Phase II Karol Bagh New Delhi 110005 with a copy to ZRO again on 21.1.2013 but no one has bother to reply or resolve the matter. I have again received one bill where three days have been given otherwise my water connection will be disconnected. I shall also be grateful to you address of consumer court can be given to me so that one can file a complaint there also.

When it comes to the question of 'Lodging Complaints/Grievances' to Delhi Jal Board's much advertised log-in link www.djb.govt.in , I am afraid, if anyone may be successful ! Is the technical glitch in the interface - 'Complaints @ Grievances - deliberately done ?

Written complaint made after three failed successive visits in person by this Sr. citizen to ZRO (NW-3), remains unattended but subsequent bill delivered with a huge amount which I have never paid in last 30 years.

NOW, I AM DOUBTFUL EVEN COMPLAINTS TO " THIS FORUM " HAVE ANY POSITIVE EFFECT FOR THE CONSUMERS.

An intellectual foreigner once told me - " GOD IS REALLY SAVING INDIA ".....!!

Please refer my water bills no's763984dtd.20/04/2012 for rs 1373/=, bill no[protected] dtd.25/07/2012 for rs7688/= reflecting earlier paid bill for rs1373/=, which was got corrected at ZSO kanhaya ngar office by sh. bagrolia but again this whole amount of rs7687/= was added to the next bill no.[protected] dtd.17/01/2013.Again had to approach sh. Bagrolia and got it corrected and later the payment was made on the spot.
I would request therefore that I am a senior citizen and the harrasment caused to me and the time wasted for going door to door is irrepairable. who is to bear the loss?

Respected sir/madam,

I am one of the resident of MAHAVIR ENCLAVE. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one year. which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.
We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that WE ARE DELHITIES

THEY HAD TAKEN DRINKING WATER CONNECTION AND ITS LEAKAGE EVERY TIME ON THE MAIN ROAD AND CREATING DEANGUE PROBLEM, I ALSO COMPLAINT AT YOUR SARITA VIHAR DELHI JAL BOARD OFFICE OPP POCKET L 7 DAYS BACK, BUT NO BODY IS CAME TO SEE EVEN.
