Hi all !
This is webmaster of www.devshoppe.com, i read the complaint from Soumitra chakraborty, the order was despatched from our end through DTDC couriers and the pincode was very much shown as servicable by DTDC people .

Once we recieved the complaint from Sh. soumitra chakraborty, we contacted DTDC head office from our end too and filed the complaint.

The products were delivered to her by DTDC.

I think this complaint is not against us...this complaint is against DTDC courier company...

Good to see a webmaster giving prompt reply to worried customer. Very nice

DTDC courier is the worst courier in the world. I sent a courier from pune to banglore on july 25 th.. my courier returned back to pune as the door was closed continouusly 2 days.. This is the reason told by them. but my relatives dint go any where in that 2 days. and I am calling them continously for the past 2 months to get my courier back but that , rascals not at all responding properly. Every time when I call they ask me to call some other no. But that no won be exist or invalid no. Always this only happening..
I think I won get my courier back. But some action sould be taken on them.

Even i had the same issue. They are [censored]ing useless. I ordered a shipment through ebay and the seller sent the package through DTDC. The courier guy apparently came to my house but didn't even ring the bell and went back. Later in the evening i got a call stating that the courier guy came to my house and no one was there at home and he went back. I asked him why i wasn't even given a call and he said that the guy who came to deliver didn't have mobile phone. He then asked me to come pick it up myself. I told i am not free and he agreed to send it the next day. Haven't received it till date. And that Mother [censored]ers has mentioned that its been delivered to ME. Now am trying to claim it through ebay and tryin to convince that I havent received the shipment and they arent even responding. !! Go to HELL EBAY and DTDC. . . . !!!

My consignment no is F08555218 to be delivered at Khar 10th Road Mumbai. As per DTDC tracking, it had reached the DTDC VP office on 24th Oct. On 26th I was told by DTDC Khar Sanjay Manjrkar that I would get on 26th as the item has gone for desptach. I did not get it. Sunday was closed. Monday morning I called DTDTc Jhar office 65547720, with the great difficulty. It is really surprising to see when you cal them, they disconnect the line that theyy are not able to hear you. Aroun 1100am I was told by the staff that I would get by the noon. I called them at 3 00 pm, as the person has gone for delivery. Around 500 pm I spoke to Samjay [protected], who tole me that the docket number is wrong. I told him that I got it checked on the tracking, he simply disconnected the line. Now it is 100 pm, still it is pending for delivery.

God will save the customer as in a city like Mumbai, for delivery from VIle Parle to Khar takes a week !

I had a shipment from pune which was supposed to be a birthday gift to the reciever in bangalore. Its been 1 and a half month and the product is neither delivered nor returned. They played games like the reciever had refused it due to damage. When the fact was that they never even contacted the reciever and I know this because the phone number mentioned was mine itself. Now after so many escalations they have booked an RTO from bangalore and it seems laying in Pune branch since more than a week. There is no support received .. no on3 answers the call. The customer care gave the pune branch manager number ( Moumita ) and she never answers the call. The Dehuroad branch from where the shipment was shipped, they have no idea on what needs to be done. Please help.

DTDC — Loss of valuables

My friend sent me few sodexho coupons through DTDC couriers. The person who collected the courier didn't mention anything specific about the contents. Three days later, I received the courier, tampered and coupons missing. The envelope had been torn, contents stolen and then again stuck. Upon inquiry, the DTDC guys say that Sodexho coupons are not admissible through couriers. considering the fact that the envelope has been tampered and then delivered, clearly shows their intention. Negligent behavior is one of the traits. Hereby I advise you to please avoid DTDC for sending valuables as well as important documents. Better to use a registered courier who charge you little more, rather than losing your courier itself.

Never ever I'm gonna use DTDC again.

My experience with Professional couriers has been smooth till now.

Anyway its upto the person to select the right service.

My friend sent me some semi precious jewellery... Well he said it was not that pricey, but then it was purchased from a gold jewelry store. He sent a pendant, bracelet and a not-that-precious chain. When I received the courier, the pendant and the bracelet (I had to pass on the latter item to another friend) had totally vanished and the parcel looked as if it was totally fine (unopened). The chain was fine, but the pendant which was along with the chain was missing. He sent the courier from Agra on 16th July, 2009, Thursday late afternoon and I received it on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 afternoon. And I went to another branch in Double Road (or KH Road) and they said nothing about it except asking me to call the office in Victoria Road! I've been trying to call the main office in Bangalore (Victoria Road) and no one's picking up the phone! my consignment number is Z94298118. And I lost a pendant and a bracelet, which was for a friend.

i am not agree for dtdc courier service beacuse my brother inlaw despatched a one parsle new panwel mumbai to jaipur a one parslw despatched in sept 2011 first weeak i recived the parsle but bade and damage condition and i see my parlse i am socked my mobile is missing then i doing maney call s and doing email but till time no aney response by dtdc courier service i think all parsle theft activity in involed in dtdc courier service staff involed so dtdc courier service is not good service its service staff they he think humane beings and he belive in good so he search my mobile other wise the all staff top to down all staff is not humane beings they are robber s and aney he think soft corner so pls find my mobile my consinment no is M65852851 pls find other wise pay my mobile money

19/04/2011..from ANANTAPUR to RAYACHOTY...but those documents are does

I AGREE WITH YOU AS I TOO HAVE BEEN FACING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH DTDC. THE CUSTOMER EXECUTIVES ARE MANNERLESS NOR DO THEY HAVE ANY ETIQUETTES. THE FULL FORM OF DTDC SHOULD BE NOT DOOT TO DOOR COURUIER NOR THEIR PUNCHLINE DELIVERING ON TIME. IT SHOULD BE D- DELAYED, T-TIMELESS, D- DEMORALISING, C=CURSE.

DTDC Courier — courier consignment not delivered

Dear All,
My brother had sent me a consignment on date 03.03.2010 from Faridabad, Haryana to Bangalore, Karnataka vide tracking number D02613806. I have till adte i.e 11.03.2010, not received the same. Nor is any one in local dtdc office picking up phone. Online status says in transit since 04.03.2010.

Please help me in getting the package received

I booked a consinment at Mira Road on June 8,2011. till today (20 July) the consignment has not received the destination. The DTDC people are giving evasive answers. The consignment number is M63869706. Vzalue is Rs. 8500/-

We have tried to contact the local DTDC office from where the consignment has sent but they also couldn't contact the Delhi office.Even the receiver also tried to contact Delhi office but no answer.

Please do needful to deliver the courier without further delay.

I got booked one packet containing car keys to Mississauga (Canada) on 10.12.2007 from your office at Nawanshahr (Punjab)vide shipment no. NDR 00007037. This packet was to handed over to DHL at New Delhi as described on the NDR. After two days the person inchrge at Nawanshahr office had given me a shipment No. [protected] of DHL. When the packet was no delivered even after 7 days (commited to deliver in 4 days) I contacted DHL on the helpline. I was surprised to know that no such shipment no. was issued by DHL. I started contacted the Nawnashar office daily. Each time I was informed by diffrent excuses by the person incharge. I also remained in touch with my son in Canada to whom the packet was delivered.
I was extremely surprised and shocked when my son told that the packet was delivered by CANADA POST (Govt. Deptt) on 02.01.2008.
Is this the service of a courier company?
I had to suffered a lot finacially and as well as mentally. I am planning to file suit in the consumer forum

I have sent a courier to Gurgaon from Kottayam (Kerala) on 3/3/08 under O08661152 but DTDC as usual failed to deliver it till this morning. On checking with DTDC office, the answer was sort of 'who cares' attitude from the staff in Delhi Regional office. I sent e mail to the Chairman and Regional Manager and put in feed back form too but no one bothered to reply. My strong suggestion is that there should be punitive action against service organization collecting money to provide service and failed to provide it.

DTDC Courier — Not Delivered even after 20 days

I had sent a courier on 22nd of MArch to HDFC Bank.
After 15 days HDFC told me that they havent received the courier.
When i tracked it in the website of DTDC it is mentioned that the client rejected to accept the courier. When I checked with their helpline they mentioned that I need to check with Balanagar Branch.
They mentioned that I need to check with Bhagyanagar branch.
they wanted me to check with Balangar.
Then they give me a number.
Everytime I call the number they ask me to call me at a particular time.
They ensure that they dont pick the phone at that time.
Even after repeated complaints DTDC has not clue where my courier is now.
It is 20 days now.

India Post was better.

DTDC sucks. Please dont go for their service.

I have sent a draft through DTDC Currior(Kestopur Brannch, Kolkata-700101) in GPO Delhi on 30.06.08. But till date the draft has not received at their end.I visited the office at Kestopur for about 7 days to help me how to know about the status.
When I contacted the person about he misbehaved and used some unperliamentary words and told that he is not to inform me about the delivery of letter. He also told that I cound do nothing by complaining at DTDC because he has very influence at the company.Repeatedly he uesd the unperliamentary words.

Is is so that if any letter is not delivered customer has nothing to do, rather to hear the abusive words and insult from the currior service representative.

i too was suppose to receive a consignment. it was not delivered and the customer care are not willing to talk. they some times say that system is not working and sometimes just dont take the call. very frustating, need to contact customer care.

I sent my importent admission form of B.com 2nd year of K.U.K by DTDC courier service[ shakarpur branch] they promised me to send the documents within two days but now they are saying that they can't send documents. This courier was not delivered untill 4th November 4:00 PM
Normally it takes only 2 working days to deliver the courier from Bangalore to Mangalore.And Government Post take 3 to 4 working days where as a private courier company DTDC takes 5 days and still not able to deliver the material.
Mr. Subramaniam claims that he is the manager regional of DTDC in bangalore and he has no answer other than false promises.
If this manager himself is so irresponsible then how the company should be.
I have still not recieved my courier as of now and i am going to complain this in consumer court.

Please guys never trust this DTDC courier for your impoortant documents.

The Phone is either out of service/ Or not workling what so ever be the case, its not first time in past also two or three times I got the same problem with DTDC Courier service, What is the meaning of a service which is taking care of communication without any communication contact point. its really bad & make a question against these kind of service provider. I got another number from DTDC main Branch, the person on that number, Why don't you call an Inquiry that too in a very rude manner. Question is you are a part of service Provider & Knowingly that your inquiry service is not working from long time & you are shouting a Customer.

Please, If you are taking money from a customer, provide right kind of satisfaction & attitude, else it will bring you down.

DTDC Courier — Non-Delivery

A letter was sent to us from Ernakulam, Kerela vide Docket No.F04013640 dated 08.11.08 to Panchkula (Chandigarh). We contacted their Panchkula Office on Monday 10.11.08 and were told that it has not arrived. On Tuesday 11.11.08 we were told that it has arrived but it will be delivered the next day. On Wednesday 12.11.08 we are told that their delivery man has not come so it will be delivered after he comes, which may be 1-2 days.

We are surprised that a courier company of this stature can give this type of answers.

DTDC Courier — Non Delivery of Important Courier

DTDC is courier(Chennai branch) is irresponsible courier there service is worst.They employee people who are not even aware of local areas.I couldn't recieve my courier and they are giving false excuses as door was locked but the truth the door was not locked at all and without even calling me(I think because of this only they ask to write phone numbers)they have sent back my courier.
When i called in their office there employees try to fool you and run from their responsibilities.

I want strict action should be taken against them so that no one will loose their important documents because of their negligence and advice them to hire people who are aware of local area atleast.

The best value for service should be in action rather than in words, "customer satisfaction." How poor the service is very evident from this. Phone lines are busy, none to answer the call. This shows the work enthusiasm. At least by regular post, the letter would have been received in 3 business days. DTDC's services are disgusting.

I sent a courier through DTDT courier service on Dec. 08, 2008 from Kumily to Trivandrum. My consignment number was T31843024. It has supposed to reach on Dec. 09, 2008 and it has not reached till Dec. 10, 2008.

When I track the consignment online, which is not registered. Also when I called the concerned office, no body is get back to me. I send some valid documents to my Bank, it is very valuable and I lost lot money on calling the courier company.

So I recommend people to not to use this DTDC courier again.

It is Pathetic Service, attitude of staffs are very very bad and useless staff.

DTDC Courier — NonDelivary of my booked items

Two items were booked from Kolkata to Bettiah.Demestic Bill numbers for these booked itmes are

We had mentioned a very clear address on which these items can be delivered easily. But the courier company representative at Bettiah made a call on number which was given in address and told us to collect the booked items at Bettiah.
He said that the address of recipient is not clear, so we have to collect the items. More interesting, when we went their to collect our booked items, he charged us additional Rs. 2 for the call, which he had made. Even they threatened us to return the items if we refuse to pay additional charge.As these items were a little bit heavier, so the courier company didn't delivered the booked items to our address and they preferred to call the party, so that party come and collect the consignment.You can make an independent inquiry in this regards, as address is very much clear. Bettiah is a very small town and any body in "Kali Bagh " can locate Mr. Manmohan Pd Baranwal's house. You can make an independent inquiry in this regards.

I also had same problem with DTDC courier service, My previous company from Hyderabad has sent me valuable Certificates and bank cheque to my Chennai address on 17th of april 2009 and DTDC consignment no is H59336854, but till now I havent received the courier and I got frustrated on DTDC service, when I called to DTDC customer care they said me unfortunately field representative has lost all the consignment on that day and DTDC has lodged the complaint in Police station for the same. After enquiring at your office at ambabari, jaipur we were told that the letter was returned because of short address.

We were surprised to learn the facts and immediately confirmed from the person we had sent the letter, he told us that the address is fully complete and all the letters he is receiving from various courier services at the same given address.

I am a ebay seller, i sent 2 packages weighing around 3.0+1.5 kgs each which are computer stuff, for a order to a buyer from cuttack. It cost me over 480 Rs for both packages for airmail. Each package is well packed and i attached the address 3 sides with clean print. May be you know about ebay online sellings the buyer pays through paisapay you only gets the money after the buyer gets the package. The 2 packages costs over 4000 Rs.

After7 days seding the packages online traking showed that one of the package is kept held at "Bhuvaneshwar" Dtdc office which is 100 Kms from the destination of recipient. And it shows that it kept held due to" MULTIPLE PIECES RECOND" i dont know what it mean i contacted HYD office where i sent from and they told that one of the package is missing. The second package will be held until the 1st package gets in contact. i waited for 15 days still it shows same, i contaced the Head office of hyderabad through my local coureir incharge(he is a good person), he tryed almost for a week calling the head office and bhuvaneshwar about the shippment and missing package.
After 45 days of dealy there is still no sign of the 1st package, so i negotiated with DTDC to give the rest of the 2nd package to the customer at cuttack, even for this takes 10s of phone calls and visiting my nearest DTDC office doorstep every 2, 3 days and wasting lots of precious time, finally they sent the 2 nd package with out the first package. i don't have other choise but to negotiate like this . I am afraid that may be something can happen to my 2nd package then i will lose both items.

I lost almost 3000Rs for the package, and the replacement item to the buyer and other charges. Still i fortunate that the 2nd package is more valuable than first atleast its reached . The consignment is closed. Really i tell you its painsticking. Its your item its your money and finallly its your effort to finish...what is this.?
Guys this is the brief description about the service of private companies in india. They will rule like this untill some kind of strict "customer service act" comes .
INDIA should not contain this kind of precious time suckers, Time is more important than everything until we realize this we will be faraway from "pure economic devlopment".

Please note that the envelope contains my wifes voter id card which she required while travelling with two children from Varanasi to Howrah on 29thMay by Kalka Mail with an E- ticket. Since the same did not reach her on time she had no other option but to travel without it for which she was penalised for Rs 5600/-. Till now, at the time of writing this mail, 30.05.2009, 12: 17 pm, the same has not reached the destination. If it is lost then we shall another problem of re-issue of a duplicate voter id card

i think this is one of the worst courrier company in india and its licence sgould be cancelled immediately.

I have couriered some imp documents vide Doc No: Z93125728 from HISAR(Haryana) to DELHI dt 7.07.09.Till 13/07/09 it was not delivered(though it takes max 2 days to delivered at delhi).After followup with DTDC Person at DELHI and giving again all the details with phone no though it was mentioned on courier.They ensure that the courier will be delivered the day itself as the documents were very urgent.
But it is unfortunate that despite of even regular follow up from the party(waiting for courier) the courier was not delivered.We are suffering a lot and very disappointed with the DTDC Service.

I have been using DTDC for my courier since past few months. I have been using it without any problem. But this time i found a racket going on with some of your franchise in Mumbai. Andheri East, Mumbai 400072, From this branch i have been using this without much problem before, but recently i was shocked to learn that the Air Cargo Booking done for my five parcel which is altogether around 64 Kg and charged at Rs. 68/ Kg with tax extra. Booked on 27th July Monday 2009 for Imphal from Mumbai. With Booking Consignment no. D01505547, when my fmily member contacted at the destination office Imphal DTDC, we were told it is coming by road transport, so it will take time. I was shocked that when i have booked for Air Cargo why is it going by road. Then when contacted the Pinnacle Courier, i was told and confirm it was been taken offload from the air cargo as it was over loaded. Ok fine i said i will wait for it after i got a confirmation that it will reach by Friday afternoon.. But today when i contacted i was told it will reach on Monday, and they accepted themself that it was sent by road. So why in the world, one charge for Air Cargo and sent my stuff through Surface. I dont know what will happen to my parcel. Though i Have lodge a complain to its office. I have not yet receive any reply. i need to know what can be done against such situation.

here i also wanted to highlight such case as i heard it is going on with some of the franchise who wants to make extra bucks they charge you for Air Cargo and dispatched it through Surface.

So kindly help me how to do go about it.
