[Resolved]  Gda Kaushambi Result — GDA kaushambi result

Dear Sir,

This is regarding a draw in which my application is successfully selected. Sir GDA invited the application in Feb 2009 for filling the vacant flats in kaushambi apartment. I applied for this scheme (Scheme Code 774) by submitting 96,000 Rs as an application money for 1 room flat of 27 sq. meter. Total cost of flat will be 9,60,000.

As per the prospectus of this scheme GDA states that the flats are located at fully developed area and fully developed colonies. But exact apartment name was not mentioned on the prospectus. By relying on this statement of GDA I applied for this scheme.

After the eight months GDA announces the draw, on 31/Aug/09. I saw the result on internet. As per the result My application is selected for a flat at 9th floor in Gangotri Tower. So I decided to visit the location, I was really shocked to see the environment.

i) Illegal occupants are living there.

ii) Common Electricity has been cut out because GDA didn’t pay the payment to the electricity board.

iii) No provision for drainage for sewage water

iv) lifts are not working

v) Market rate of these flats are about half of the amount that GDA is charging to us.

That’s why I decide to cancel my draw. but when I talk to GDA officials they told me that my 10% (Rs 9600) amount will be deducted and also it takes 3 to 6 months to get back entire sum after deduction.

Sir kindly let me know that this is only week of draw, I didn’t received any reservation letter, allotment letter or any kind of information about the draw.

In this case can GDA deduct 10% amount from my application money?

Even it is mention on the prospectus that if one cancels his allotted flat within allotment date to 6 months after allotment date then 10% amount is deducted from the application money.

But in this case GDA doesn’t issue me any allotment letter.

As per the prospectus GDA will issue the reservation letter to all the successful applicants. After that verification of submitted documents being process. GDA will issue the allotment letter. After 1 month of allotment allotters need to submit 20% of the cost of the flat.

Now GDA officials told me that meaning of Draw is they have allotted my the flat so either I have to buy it or I should agreed to deducted my 9600 Rs. Sir please let me know that whether allotment date and draw date is same

Thanks and Regards

I am strongly agree with the post.
I also get flat in Neelkanth appartment.
All the problem which you stated above also exist in the my allotment also.
I really not able to understand, how can GDA sold their flats nearly at double rates.
And now if we are going to cancel our allotment, they are charging to us.
what is your flat number which has been alloted to u in gangotri appartments. ????
Hi Ravi we cannot say it allotment, beacuse on paper allotment date and draw date is different.
I dont really understand that if it is clearly mention that 10 % amount is deducted only when if we are going to cancel or allotment from allotment date to the 6 months after of allotment date.
So how can GDA charge from us.
Yeh really mey sabhi allotees sey ka sath dokha hai.
GDA ney kaha tha that these flats are in developed colonies and developed area. Par waha common facilites nahi hai.
i am also alloted a flat at 8th foloor and the market rate is exactly the half what gda is charging us...
what should we do next...
i am feeling cheted...
yes guys, I am also a sucessfully applicant, all the above things are true.
What we should do is that GDA conducts public meeting in which all the issues of general public considard
But this organize only on 2nd and fourth wednesday. So we all applicants should meet on 23rd September 2009 at GDA office at raise the issues and get our complete application money back
Sirs, We should meet on 23rd. We must approach consumer court against this cheating of GDA it is surprising that a govt organization is cheating public openly.
Mr. Gupta,

Why don't you buy the flat & let it go as resale flat. There is no property in Kaushambhi, which is lesser than this value.

In case you are even not satisfied, I am ready to buy it from you at 9.60 lacs. Let me know in case you are ready for it.

Dear Saket ji,

Thanks for your offer, but this is true that as per the current condition of the buliding no wants to buy it for the purpose of living. And I dont know who is right or wrong, because I had a discussions with 3/4 families of Gangotri Apartment, and some of the near by property dealers they all said the u can buy the flat in the tower from 7 to 15 lac depending upon the floor.

Rest of the things are automatically explained by the videos available at Youtube.

But if you think it as a better investment then I am ready to sell my application. I just only want my application mony back.
