I have loged a complaint regarding my fridge 180 Ltr single door at custoer service cell on 22.3.2010 No is. 948728. The service engineer visited to my house and told me that the gas was choked and same will be rectified next day. Till date no one is came for servicing . Godrej Refrigerator 180 LTR — Cooling problem not rectified even after replacing most of the part & no proper response from Godrej
This is to bring in your kind notice that I am facing a serious problem with Godrej Refrigerator company & its customer care system. Details are as below:-
I had bought a refrigerator 1yr back. On 2nd aug'10 it stopped cooling, we immediately called up cust. care([protected]) and lodged the complaint. The technician came & told us that the condenssor is gone, gas is leaking, so he replaced it and filled the gas, charged Rs. 3400/- and assured that no problem would be there for next 6 months. It was done by Mr. Deepak Maurya ([protected]) on 07/08/10.
After 20 days it again started having problem with the cooling system. Agai I called up cust. care centre & lodged the complaint (730280) on 28/08/10 at around 11.00am, they assured us that it would be rectified withing 24 hrs. We also gave a courtesy call to this technician who had repaired our fridge last time (Deepak Maurya), he also assured us that he will come by evening.
We trusted everybody and waited, but to my surprise when I went back home late evening no one had come from Godrej or no responce recieved from their end.
Again I called up cust. care on 29/08/10 at around 11.00am, they said its sunday today so nothing could be done (Alka). I told her the entire problem, she said it would be rectified on Monday. I requested Alka that I have got childrens and old ladies at home and non-functioning of refrigerator is a major problem, if something can be done today itself. She said let me check with the authorized service centre nearby and will give a call back. I again asked her to call me back surely and give me exact status. But again to my surprise no callback was there. Again I called up Deepak Maurya and asked him why he had not come, You won't believe what he told me " Sorry I forgot" and again he started asking for details like address and problem. After repeating thrice I lost my temper and shouted on him that I will complain in Consumer Care, he never apologized and didn't give any positive responce.
I also tried callin up the Swastik Customer Care Centre, an authorised cust. care centre from Godrej, but not even a single time call is pickedup. Very frustating.
I am also an employee of TATA, associated from last 7 years and which is a landmark in Customer Satisfaction Field. In a current situation where customer satisfaction is first priority of all multinational companies or public sector, this kind of behaviour is totally disappointed.
I am highly disappointed with the entire experience, they don't care about their customers. This is somthing need to be taken care of in a strict manner. It is the image of all Customers.
