PLS DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AS AFTER ONE YEAR IT WILL START GIVING COMPLAINTS
THEIR SERVICE LEVELS ARE PATHETIC AND VERY EXPENSIVE - AFTER ONE YEAR I HAVE PAID CLOSE TO Rs 4000 FOR SERVICING
AND CHANGE OF PARTS ETC - IT IS A USELESS PRODUCT AND SHOULD NOT BE BOUGHT BY ANYBODY !!

    I purchased Kent Grand+ RO Water purifier from "Goodmineral Ro, #58, 14th Main 22nd Cross, H.S.R. Layout, 3rd Sector, Bangalore-560034 Phone 080 65656561, Mobile [protected]" on 05-Mar-2011 for rupees 14,500 (Bill Number:5726). On 25-Feb-2012, two main components of the Kent Grand+ RO Water purifier were gone(i.e Choke and UV Bulb). I called up Goodmineral Ro, Bangalore for service. on 26-Feb-2012, they replaced Choke and UV Bulb and extracted rupees 1600 from me even though the product was still under the warrenty period. Later on i realised that the Choke which they had replaced is a wrong part and does not fit for Kent Grand+ RO Water purifier. I have raised a complaint (complaint number : 3436) with Goodmineral Ro and i have been following up with them over phone but till now i have not received and response. I have spoken to the owner of "Goodmineral Ro" Nagesh but he also refused to respond. I have written an email to the General Manager of Kent RO Systems (Mr Rao) asking him to advise distributor Goodmineral Ro also. I have raised a complaint in Kent service Center Bangalore(complaint number 6985) to help me get this problem resolved but they are also not responding.

    Please help me in getting this problem resolved.

    Similar problem we faced with "Good mineral RO". The guy Ravi tried to replace the same old failed (as he claimed) part as the new one. Since we noted the serial number, we nailed him red-handedly...
    The unit worked well for us...Service is very poor. Especially this good mineral RO guys...
    Forgot to say this: "We spoke with Kent Head office. The manager, Mr.Sunil Gupta, was very supportive o[censored]s and helped us get out of this mess...
    Horrible experience with Good Mineral RO

    I asked for a regular service. They wanted to change many
    items in the Kent machine, which I told I dont want at this stage as I had
    replaced those eight months back only. That moment onwards the service engineer
    started showing his face. He screwed up the machine and went. I called him with
    in five mts. He promised to come in 5 mts but did not. The whole day[protected] I waited. I called
    their company and the gave many promises to come . Next day morning I called
    them again, Many names like anand, Ravi, Ashok, Sankar thrown to me saying,
    they will be coming in 30 mts . Multiple times, Talked to their manager Nagesh
    . He repeated many stories. I lost the whole Saturday as well waiting for these
    guys. I had a bad experience with them 5
    years back, which I realized when I checked my old records of service after
    the current incident. I took annual maintenance from them paying 3750 rs. The
    promised every 4 months service and many other things. They did not turn up
    even single time even multiple follow ups, Surprisingly the same service
    engineer came at that time too.(Ravi). While I write this I don’t have any hope
    they will fix the issues, Such behavior is totally un acceptable.
    Horrible service by Good Mineral RO in Bangalore. They seems to be not the authorised service agency by KENT. They collect AMC but will take not less than 1 month to attend any complaint. You have to call them daily get some nice promises and wait for next day to make another call. KENT should take some action on them otherwise they will spoil the brand image.
    I got filters replaced of Kent MAXX from Good Mineral RO, Bommanahalli, Bangalore in Nov 2014. We were falling sick frequently so I thought of checking on water purification. I opened the purifier myself to inspect and found that seal of circuit box was broken. So, I decided to inspect it. On opening it I found that buzzer was broken. It can be broken only by brute force. I soldered it with long wires and it started beeping! On further investigation I found that UV lamp is not working. Even the service LED was not turning green. I called another service center to replace the UV lamp. That service person told me that UF filter is connected in wrong direction. He also mentioned that wiring is not correct.I can't prove, who broke the buzzer. But, there are enough indications that Good Mineral RO representative messed up things to hide the damage that he caused to the system.

    Stay away.
    100% agreed about Good Mineral RO, Bommanahalli/HSR Layout, Bangalore. They charged Rs 5500 for AMC stating that they will cover all filters as well. They encashed the cheque and afterwards never came back. I raised a complaint 10 days back and they haven't come to visit. Each and every day, when I call them, I get a response that the technician will come, but it has never happened.

    I called up KENT customer care and they state that they support an AMC for Rs 2000 which does not cover filters. So, this is not an authorized KENT servicing by "Good Mineral RO", Bommanahalli/HSR Layout, Bangalore.
    Very bad experience with Good Mineral RO Services Bommanahalli, Bangalore. I have taken AMC from them by paying 5500/-. I have chased them for 2 months over phone and then only they came to replace the filter. After a week the same issue with the filter what they have changed.
    I need to by water from outside even after having KENT RO System and paid 5500/- for AMC.
    This is too worst servicing from Good Mineral RO. I even called KENT Customer care to complain about this, but there is no use of calling them.

    PLEASE DO NOT TAKE AMC WITH GOOD MINERAL RO.
    Absolutely. I am not alone then. These guys are cheating big time. Why is Kent sending them to resolve problems then? They must be their authorized service agent only. Does any of you know the way out of this problem? Can I speak to someone in Kent directly? I have written many mails in last six months. But there has never been a proper answer. They simply respond with a standard template message, which is very very frustrating. I really want to take some action against these guys. I am okay to visit Consumer court or a police station. Please suggest me the most effective solution for this. Thanks.

      Complaint number : 191591.
      Water overflowing from the tank before filtration. As a result of which no drinking water available for 5 days. Contacted the customer care four times this week. No representative from the company has turned up to examine or rectify the defect till date. Poor response from the company/customer care.

        Myself (Dheeraj Kumar Agarwal) has called to Kent RO for shifting of my Kent from Indirapuram (Ghaziabad) to Pratap Vihar (Ghaziabad). My complain no is 17794. As per customer care executive my RO will be deinstalled, transfer and then reinstalled by RO engingeer only. Total expences will incurr 300+300=600/- which will be paid by customer. I was agree with all the terms as said by customer care executive. One engineer came on 5th Apr 2012 at my old house (Indirapuram) at 1630 hrs. After deinstallation he said he will not transfer the RO, the same will be carry by customer. This was surprised for me that how can he say this. After many discussion he was not agree for the same. The i called again to customer care no [protected] on 05.04.2012 at 1700 hrs and talked with Meena but she was also not able to solve the problem and gave me the no od Shailendra (Area Manager) - [protected]. I discussed with Shailendra but he was also not ready to listen me and he said he will not do anything. Then again i called to customer care and talked with Meera but she alsow as not able to solve and gave me the no of Mr Ashok - Service Head Ghaziabad - [protected]. I called to Mr Ashok but he did not attend my call. Then after so much of efforts i was totally helpless and i shifted my Kent at my own cost which is Rs 600/-. Kent RO engineer came and reinstall RO at my new house. But I’m complaining against Kent RO for such false commitment. This should be actionable. My humble request for an action against Kent RO for compensation.

          Sir,

          Two weeks before from today i made a call to AXIS EXIM(Mobile : [protected]) ,the kent RO water service provider, regarding servicing of the said water purifier. But till date(31.03.2012) no one from the concerned service provider has turned up. As a result of which i am thinking to stop using the Kent RO water purifier. I made several calls to AXIS EXIM, and made him assured that my kent RO get serviced by the same day or the other, but resulted into poor customer service. Even people from my locality do have the same problem.It is for your kind information that some of my neighbours started buying 20 ltr water cans from outside on regular basis because of the poor attention. I did not wanted to lodge complaint but could not stop myself as we are doing payment to the service provider. Hence i request the concerned authority to take necessary action forthwith.

          We had bought Kent RO Water Purifier from M/s Mausam Shoppe, Station Road, Kota in Oct 2009. After that it has given us regular problems like water leaking, impure water and even not functioning at all at some times. For which we had contacted the dealer Mr. Ishuraj Singh of M/s Mausam Shoppe a number of times. Presently the problem was that we had encountered the problem of water not coming out at all from the appliance, for which we had lodged the complaint with the dealer. He said he will repair it and we will have to bear with the water problem for three days. As of date it has been 8 days that we have not recd our appliance back after service. We our facing tremendous water problem and our somehow managing it asking water from neighbours.The dealer is not picking up the call and also is not available at his shop also when we go there to meet him. We have encountered this poor and unpunctual service many a times and we are really fed up of this product and this dealer Mr Ishuraj Singh.

          Hi.. I m S.B. Sharma. I m too much unhappy with the service of kent purifier. It was informed to service center but they have given so many reasons for not coming here. Me and my family was very happy bz of good results of kent but we r more unhappy after seeing service response.

            Its been 8-9 months since i hav installed most expensive model of kent is kent grand plus. However the irony started post 2 month o[censored]sage and machin stopped dispensing water post sevral followups (never received prompt service from kent) the ro was replaced. Havent used machine for another 1month faced same issue and when contacted kent service was told ro is faulty again and nee to pay for same as we cannot change it again and again more over was told by technician ro replaced earlier was not new and previous tech must have installed old ro carrying manf date of 2010
            The machine was not repaier for mOnth safter several followups and inspite of involving company RM machine is not working.
            Worst part is that they dont have any division to solve escalation or any helpdesk team

              Today also there is no response from KENT. It is surprising to see such a pathetic service. There shall be option to put this complaints in MEDIA where adv comes on TV. At least people shall come to know about the poor service.

              Though they are telling that today it will be done but no one are attending to visit and install.

                I am having nightmares ever since I bought KENT Grand+ Mineral RO Water Purifier. There is NO easy way out as I already spent RS 15,000 for it.

                Installation (May 2011): Dealer told me that someone will come for installation within couple of days. One one turned in for couple of weeks. I kept calling dealer, he kept saying he has already informed it & someone should have already come. Finally I kept calling Kent directly & someone came to install it after 3 weeks. The installation guy (Pramod Tiwari) was suppose to be trained one. But he drilled holes above sticker instead of marking on the sticker. He did NOT want to put any effort to screw on wall so he cut drainage pipe & used that as dowel instead using dowel which comes with installation kit. He started filter & went away.

                As water tank got filled, the whole unit tilted because it was not fitted properly. We were scared that whole unit will fall down & crash into pieces as it becomes very heavy with full tank of water.

                Immediately I called Kent service & kept calling to get someone to do proper installation again. This was not easy task also. Kent Service has IN-BUILT PARADOX. After first installation, subsequent calls are SERVICE calls and service people DO NOT do or FIX installation. So if your first installation is not done correctly then you are in soup & no wonder you will have nightmares. After lot of calls & explanations finally someone came & did proper installation again.

                Multiple breakdowns during Warranty period: UV lamp burned in Jan 2012 & I registered the complaint. I had to make again several calls. After 3-4 days they told me there is no complaint on your name. So I had to make complaint again. Still one one visited soon so called Delhi office, talked to Manager & finally someone came after 1 week. The worst part is they will say technician will visit today, but they won't give contact details of technician. This today never comes. I had to take leave to make myself available & no one showed up.
                On 16th March again purifier alarm started & stopped working. On 17th morning called service center. Complaint # is[protected]. Priyanka was customer service agent & she said technician will come today. Till Saturday afternoon, no one called so talked to her manager, Mayuresh. He said he will TRY. Saturday no one came. Monday also no one came. So called again on Monday late afternoon. Customer service agent said please give him 10 mins & he will call back as he can't reach technician. Call back never came & when I called again, office was already CLOSED. Again I called on Tuesday (Mar 20th) & asked for Mayuresh but I was told that he is not available (Or may be he is hiding). Talked to Dipali & Ritesh, everyone is saying same thing, someone will visit today.

                Free services Warranty period: Kent has 3 Free services during warranty period but you have to call them which anyway won't happen. I have A/C, refrigerator from other companies and they call me to schedule servicing appointment.

                Do it yourself NOT possible: Changing filters in Kent purifier or for that matter in any purifier is not rocket science. Any Tom/Dick/Harry can do it. But then how can they earn money. So Kent won't sell any of these in market and you have no choice but to live with these hopeless people, hopeless Service & hopeless products.

                Conclusion: 1 or 2 bad incidents can be ignored but Kent is very consistent in so many incident. Stay away from Kent, The House of Hopeless People, Hopeless Service & Hopeless product


                PS: At my parents house we use Eureka Forbes & they give same day service whenever we call them. Why the hell I got Kent?

                  Very poor maintenance service and no guarantee if the parts replaced are genuine as no receipts are given for the service by the engineer. They claim that receipts will be sent by their accounts dept which never happens even after multiple follow-ups.

                  They call several times even after servicing to get filters replaced , etc as they have no track of whether the servicing has been done or not.

                  Real harrassment of the consumer

                    My name is Priya Ranjan Mahato from Chota Ghamaharia, i purchased Kent water purifier on 17/04/2010 invoice no.341 serial no. of product is KR[protected].As per company specification the membren & carbon block of the product life is up to 1 year but it is working only up to 3 month,i have to change the membren & carbon block after 3 month and it costs 3200/- I have complained to the service center also but they are not responding.

                      i bought my kent ro water purifier from water tech basavangudi bangalore in october 2011 since the installiation of the product i am facing the problem. the service people visit the place and go back. the problem is still there and the service people are least bothered of the complaint please do not buy any product of kent

                        I bought Kent RO Water Purifier in May 2011 . i have some problem with my Kent RO Water Purifier in january 2012. I called service centre which name is modern services in Aurangabad in Varanasi. one Technician(name sujeet) came in my house , he repair my Kent RO Water Purifier and charged Rs. 500.00 coz at present my purchase bill was not available and he said next day he would return my money back and take xerox copy of purchase bill. but his next day never come . i made 25 calls to thia service centre for my money back and giving xerox copy of bill. but he did not come passing over one month.
                        Now i decided , i am going to cosumer Forum. and take action against Kent RO Water Purifier company as well as Service Centre also, not for Rs. 500/- but in the case of cheating and could not cheat to any body.

                        Water Purifier — Service charge

                        Sir,

                        I have a water purifier of your company. On 20th some mechanics from aquaro services came to my house and they told me that on every year there is a compulsory service for your product and Rs.1000/- will be given for it.

                          Have a Kent RO Water filter which breaks down every few days. In spite of a number of complaints and a number of technicians (at least 10 in no.) the machine keeps on breaking down every other day. Common complaints include membrane change, nrv not working, lamp not working, elbows leaking. We got an AMC done few weeks back but has not helped. More than 10000/- Rs spent so far and still am incurring 100+ Rs every day for drinking water as its a basic necessity. Repeated complaints and escalations within Kent RO have not helped. Some of the recent complaint numbers are D11289654 and 145724. We have reached a point where we need a refund of AMC and all the recent repairs done. No further service required from Kent RO. We are better off buying a new water filter from a better reputed company.

                            Hi sir/ma'am,

                            I had purchased the KENT RO Purifier Model PEARL on 23rd of October 2011. After the installation I noticed that the top Lid of the device did not close properly, there was a gap when it closed.
                            I verified the same by checking other devices of same model at the showroom and also installed devices at my friend's place.

                            The defect leaves space enough for insects like cockroach, ants etc. who climb through it since the purified water in the container is sweet because of which the container needs to be dismounted very other day and cleaned.How effective is a water purifier if it cannot keep such insects from getting in to the storage area !

                            Upon complaint to the dealer from where it was purchased, he had sent a technician who failed to rectify the problem. When I complained again on the phone he replied that there was nothing that he could do as it could not be repaired, the only option would be to replace the complete device as that part is not replaceable.

                            When asked for escalation he gave the number of some executive at Kent who gave the same answer.

                            When I had bought the device I had done appropriate research and compared it with all major players before settling for your company only because of recommendations from our friend's who incidentally have the same model and face no such issues. I request you to please escalate the matter to the right person so that the device can be replaced/repaired and save me the unnecessary task of throwing away all the filtered water every other day just to clean it from the insects floating in it.

                              This is with reference to my complaint made 2 days before whereby the service person from RO company came and checked the machine and told us about the defect . Today ,I got to know from your company office at BHOPAL that they do not have the part and I should make confirmation from your company directly.

                              HERE , I WISH TO DRAW KIND ATTENTION TOWARDS THE FACT THAT THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME AND I GUESS THIS WOULD BE THE MORE THAN 15 TIMES IN A 11.5 MONTHS OF PERIOD.AND EACH TIME I COMMUNICATED WITH COMPANY'S OFFICER I HAVE EXPLAINED HIM THIS MUST BE THE DEFECTIVE PIECE KINDLY GET IT REPLACED BUT NO ONE RESPONDED YET.AND REPLIED NO PRODUCT HAS NO DEFECT. IN SPITE OF THESE PRODUCT WAS REPAIRED EVERY OCCASION AFTER LAPSE OF 1-2 WEEKS.

                              THIS REDUCED MY WARRANTY PERIOD AS I WAS NOT ABLE TO USE THE PRODUCT FOR 1 YEAR OF WARRANTY. FURTHER , MY REQUEST FOR REPLACEMENT OF PRODUCT WITH NEW & DEFECT FREE PRODUCT WAS NEVER ENTERTAINED.


                              Another issue i want to bring your kind attention that the in this regard my views on product purchased by me is defective one as many of its parts has already been replaced at many occasions and the reason why i insisted for complete replacement of the product. IN THIS REGARD EARLIER CORRESPONDENCES WITH THE COMPANY & REPETITIVE REPLACEMENTS BY THEM IS CORROBORATIVE EVIDENCES.


                              Here again i am standing on the same position which was existed one month ago and facing the problems due to your defective product.

                                Hi,

                                I receiving a Kent Water Purifier as a Wedding present 2 months back. But from the time of installation it has not worked. The customer service is pathetic and shows total apathy to grievances.First it was a problem in the valve, then filter problem . Every time the engineer mentioned that since it was not purchased by a local dealer but from another city you have to pay for the service even though the machine is within warranty period. When I escalated the matter to the regional manager after a month an engineer was sent to fix the issue. Within 2 days the machine again stopped working and now I am told its a motor problem. I am again asked to pay for the new motor Rs 1500. I have spent so much money on the machine and and calling different people in Kent that I have lost hope and left the machine as it is. Its a mere show piece in my kitchen as a replacement would be another struggle.

                                  THIS IS TO SAY THAT MY KENT RO SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING WELL FOR THE LAST ONE WEEK.I HAVE REGISTERED COMPLAINT REGARDING THIS THRICE...TECHNICIAN VISITED ONCE AND SAID A PART HAS TO BE REPLACED .BUT HE DIDNT TURNED UP AGAIN TO REPLACE THE SAME..I AM FACING PROBLEM BCOZ OF ALL THIS.THE COMPLAINT NO.                                     I have purchased a RO system Aquafresh RO - Kent Model on 16/04/2011 from "Jaishree Sales Corporation" D-183, New Gopal Nagar, Near Rail Factory, Dhansha Road, Nazafgarh, Delhi - 110043.

                                    It had Cash memo no. 629. It is with one year guarantee.

                                    Last month on 14th Dec'11, it has stopped working. I have given a call to service man Mr. Rakesh at [protected] and Team manager Mr. Amit Sharma at [protected]. Rakesh has came and checked, it has found that pump is not workable and needs replacement. Since then they had never come even after giving calls on mutiple times. On 11th January Mr. Amit Sharma has sent an another person Mr Sudheer [protected] to check the same again. Mr. Sudheer has tried to get that checked and get it in working condition, but it has completely jammed. Mr. Amit Sharma has asked him to take the same with him and he will provide the replaced one.
                                    Now it is again 5 days and Mr. Amit Sharma is not picking up the phone and not replying on message.
                                    Guarantee time is getting lapsed day by day.

                                    Request you to Kindly get into the matter to resolve the same.

                                      I purchase kent ro from Ganga Enterprises, Samastipur inv.no. 138 dt.[protected] and AMC from m/s A.V.Enterprises, punjabi colony, samastipur sl.no. 306 dt. 6-9-11. Amt of AMC of Rs. 3900/- has been given to the firm. After AMC frequently problems occurs no action taken by the firm timely. If our problems has not cleared within week's time I will file a case to KENT RO, NOIDA in consumer forum.

                                        A cheque was issued for renewal of AMC dated 7th Jan 2012,the same was banked on 5th Jan 2012 on purpose which was returned by bank stating post dated cheque,and return charges were debited to my account,I pride my self of ensuring that no cheque ever goes back and such has been the case for the last so many years and that I enjoy a very high credit rating. On calling up the service section as guided by the customer care Mr. Manju Kumar was spoken to who accepted the wrong banking of cheque and as such he was requested to issue a letter from his company stating this mistake and also refund the debit to my account.
                                        It was advised that the cheque would be returned and the debit amount may please be adjusted in fresh issue of the cheque. To my surprise they again banked the cheque on 7th and I had no option but to make a stop payment as these Kent Ro persons were on to creating wrong information and being crooked in their dealing .Mr Kumar was informed that such unfair trade practices were not in line with a company of repute to which he was rude and said one can go to were he wants this is way he will act.
                                        My complaint is that my AMC has not been renewed and the attitude behaviour leads a person to feel that an ordinary citizen of India has no voice and these big companies can get away with what they do.
                                        I need to have my complaint addressed and the company see to it the dealings are fair and not fraudulent.
