My Kent RO m/c stopped working during evening of 13th May, 11. I lodged a complaint at about 10.00 AM today (14th May) & explained the problem on phone. My m/c is under warranty. I requested them to get the services restored today itself. The call centre said they will certainly try.
At 4.00 PM I called back to check the status, one of the boy on call answered that services will be restored in 24 working hours i.e. on monday, 16th May, 11. I implored on him that water should be treated as essential services and the work must be carried out on emergency basis otherwise one is compelled to drink Yamuna River water despite having invested in Kent RO. I spoke during the day to their call centre[protected] three times, people in call centers are least curtious and have civil servant mindset. According to them you already have bought Kent m/c hence they don't care for you. At the request of Noida call centre they asked me to speak to Mr Ravi Sahni[protected] and he was no less a Govt. servant, he would not restore service some times on monday 16th May. I was not satisfied I called their toll free no.[protected]. A lady answered and she gave phone no of Delhi/ Noida region in charge, Mr Ashok Kumar - [protected]. I spoke to him and prayed. Then I realized why all the service personnel were so government minded. The culture is set by the men on top and hence all service personnel were like govt servant.
I request Hema Malini jee, please don't advertise for Kent RO and trap innocent people. Kent guys from top to bottom lack service culture. I please to new buyers please buy any other water purifier than Kent RO. Or else you will have to depend on drinking water from market or neighbourhood.

    I have called [protected]@Pune (Rehan Aqua Solution) for changing the filter and installation. The person (Mob : [protected]) came and changed the filter and charged Rs 1850 but did not gave the bill saying it will come through courier. He did not mounted the kent (RO+UV) machine on to the wall saying he has not brought the drilling tool. Later I registered a complaint (complaint no 10512 dated 10 May 2011) for getting the filter mounted on to the wall. But even after daily calling them (Manager :Shailendra Mob[protected]), they give false commitment that it will be done but no one turns up and they keep on giving excuses only. Can anyone look into this urgently. What a customer service Kent have got?

    An email was sent to me recently that please call to some Jai Prakash. My question is, isn't the customer care department's responsibility to call the customer and give help when I have already published my contact detail. Good joke. Who will take care of the mental agony given by those people in not performing the duty and speaking rubbish even after doing the job after making the complaint.

    Kent Water Purifier (Kent Grand +) — Offensive response from Kent Technician

    Purchased a Kent Grand+ and got an appointment (appointment no A-1219) with Kent, Bangalore office to fix the equipment at my apartment before noon on June, 6th, 2011. Since the technician didn’t turn up, collected the contact number from Kent office and called to check his timing. His response was very rude and impolite. He shouted in Hindi that he didn’t give any promise of coming to my place and he can only come whenever he is free. If office had said anything, ask office people to come and fix it and disconnected the phone. The technician’s name is Ajith and his contact no. is [protected]. I have changed all my weekend plans according to the assurance/schedule given by Kent office for the installation and I take this as a serious misbehavior of their staff. Appreciate immediate action.

      I had the bad experience of buying kent RO about 14 days back. I have lodged complaint thrice for machine not working. It is repaired but goes bad again within 24 hrs. It is again lying offroad with complaint lodged on 11 May 2011, however no action till 12 May night. During tomarrow morning prayers to the God I will ask Him to come in the guise of Kent RO repair technician. 14 days old RO already gone off-road four times. Thank you Mrs Hema Malini, for misleading us.
      If any Kent company official does read this please do contact on tele [protected]. Plz solve this problem by getting the machine repaired.

Sorry for the "Angry Young Man" language used in the initial complaint, but believe me that seemed the only way to put my desperation across.         I would like to remind you once again regarding my undermentioned complains to you. Your service person visited on 14/1/2011, 22/1/2011, 2/2/2011,28/2/2011,5/4/2011 and 10/05/2011 after several complains registered to your office. Every time your person comes he some how managed the purifier work and after some time again the problem occured. So many parts also changed by them like S.V., Sedimante., Carbon., and others during the year.


        Now it seems that you have some how managed to complete your one year service warranty for the said machine. Again the same problem i am facing since last few days, and you person last visited at my place on 10/05/2011 now says that we have to change the R.O and one other parts that costs around Rs. 2100/- plus service charges, since the machine is out of warranty now.



        I would like to state you that the said machine is not working proplery since the time of purchase hence you will find from your service record that every 15-20 days your service person has visited my place to check the problems.



        Your Mr. Sallauddin knows the matter very well since I have called him so many times reagrding the matter and he has also co-operated well .



        Now you are once again requested to look into the matter and arrange to service the machine without any costs.



        My last complain no with you is 5620 dt.10/5/2011.



        Hope to receive a reply at earliest since the water is totaly not comming out of the machine.

        This is really embrassing to learn that after purchasing the most reputed brand and top most model of water purifier in India " KENT RO GRAND PLUS ", I have been appointed to a new job by them i.e to call kent customer care every 15 days and lodge a new complain . My service record book and purchase invoice are attached herewith. Every time your service person visits my place and tells a new problem with my purifier. One person have even changed my Iron Remover and charged Rs. 1000/- for that and promised that after this change there will be no more problem. But as usuall this proved to be a lie. I have to face similar problems again and again like ... Water Not comming form the purifier, Very hard water comming from the purifier, Machine making so much vibration,,, Taste changes every 10-15 days from the water and other similar problems.


        Now it seems to me that my service warranty is going to expire in another 3 months and I don't think that you are able to serve me regarding this defective machine after that period hence, I would like to request you either to replace the entire machine which is still in the warranty period or to refund me the entire amount I have spend for this great headache.



        Hope to get a reply at you end at an early date or I shall be bound to move to the Court of Law.

        Water Purifier — not working well

        We, Shreenidhi Realtors Pvt. Ltd.(N.T.P.C. Mouda) have been purchased couple of R.O. about three month back. now it is not working well as it is leaking & its filter is also not working properly. we have complained to your agent named Mr. Rahul Mob.- [protected]. who was unable to resolve the matter. request you to please solve the matter as soon as possible.

          With deep regrets I register my dissatisfaction regarding Kent RO as a
          product, its customer care, the quality of servicing & expertise of
          technicians.. Since the day the Kent RO has been bought I am
          regulary taking AMC from Kent RO authorised distributor, for which the
          complete details & record is lying with me [ surprisingly in
          between once the company even changed the authorised dealer at
          Amritsar without informing me despite of the fact that my AMC was
          going with that dealer]. If the company cares to search my AMC account they will
          see the number of complaints lodged & the lackadaiscal approach of
          the Co. & their customer care service center in attending to
          greviances, keeping in considertaion that in some cases the regional
          marketing executives of Kent RO were also informed about my greviances
          regarding products performance & service.
          Now on improper functioning of my Kent RO i am being told that
          all the major parts are damaged. I attribute this fault to poor
          product quality & improper service support for the reason that since
          the start I am regularly taking AMC of the product from auth.dealer.
          Despite of assured number of service in the AMC not even a single
          service has been provided in the current AMC which causes damage to
          the product & loss of healh to the customer. I hold the KENT RO company
          responsible for inconvenience caused to me as your customer.

            but It is to sorry to say that after buying I facing reguler problems :

            At the time of sales Shop Director Mr Sharma commit to Installation next day that is 02.04.11 but fail to Installation timely

            after calling sevral time thay depute one kent Aouthried delear to install and he reporting me on 05.04.11

            at the time of installation he found that UV CHEMBER is likes and he advise to replace it

            then I request to Mr. Sharma that pl replace unit but Mr. Sharma say that it is not possible and we will replace UV chember with in a day

            after then I reguler touch with Mr. Sharma But he say that one or two days more and after passing 10 days UV chember replaced on 16.04.2011

            But As I observe yet here is some problem in kent Unit like this

            reject water coming more than 3 times of Purifier water

            we use one time in day at Morning 30 ltr Purifier water and clean reject water tank than fully not in used but after not in used we found approx 30 Ltr Water at the

            time of Evening in reject water tank


            please look the matter and REPLACE DAMAGE UNIT

              I purchase Kent RO Grand + from VGM Enterprises Tambaram in May 2010. The unit started giving trouble within 6 months of its installation. The Dealers service engineer visited for name shake,Changed candles but could not solve the problem. Now They are demanding money for attending to it which i know they can not.Pl help in getting the Unit replaced or Money refunded....P.K.Chauhan

                i have purchase a kent water purifier (RO+UV+TDS) system on dec2010 from advanstronics ankleshwar distt bharuch gujrat .after 3 months the filter tap is broken .and on 02 april 2011 the beep sound was coming from filter .i logged my complaint to local dealer and he told the filter is choked and it needs to change but today is 27.04.2011 nobody has come to attend the complaint .the local dealer charges 200 rs for chaning the tap .i was also phone to ghajiabad kent center where they only gives phone no of area sales maneger and no body pick up the phone . it was my trust that kent is a big company and its product are good but after using it it is tourchrable to me . i want to change filter and in future if any problem i will face it then somebody to attend the complaint .please help us to solve our problem

                  I have purchased KENT Grand plus serial no KR[protected] from CSD on 11 Jul 2011 .Despite repeated requests your service provider in Jammu, Mr Happy, ph no[protected], never turned up.He sends Mr Munna ph no [protected] who charges Rs 350/ for installation and does not wait to check the serviceability of the product .The storage tk is overflowing.Despite repeated cvomplaints/ requests none of the above persons is responding.Mr Munna says the product is defective and I must get it replaced. I feel cheated by the response to after sale services by your so called service providers and am really repenting for buying your product.Plz direct your representative to rectify the defect or replace the productearliest . at

                    I have purchase one kent Ro under invoice no 90000585 dated 30/05/2009
                    wifh 2 year warranty as writen on warrantycard through the company sales perssonel Mr.manish.As per company mechanic Mr.Abdesh, the memraine & filter has to be change and for this they are charging Rs 3150/- while the machine is under warranty period.So, pls advise what i have to do ? The company will look after this matter or will go to consumer court

                      I have brought a Kent Grand+ Water Purifier from Priya Electronics, Pimpri, Pune on 16th Jan 2011.
                      However, it had some sound coming out of the UV Pump, which we complained on the same day and the Kent guys got the UV Pump replaced. At that point when I asked them to replace the whole machine itself they said "Sir, if the problem comes back again we will replace it.
                      Now after 45 days the same problem got repeated again and I have called your guys who first gave me a run around and then gave me a couple of numbers. When I called those numbers I have been given the same information again that the UV pump will be only replaced and the machine will not be replaced.
                      I denied to this becase its not my fault that you installed a faulty apparatus to my place. When I again spoke to Siddharth an Area Sales Team person, who routed me to Prateek, who gave me the number of the Regional Manager Mr J P Chaubey, all of them kept on passing the same information to me that they don't have authority to replace. Mr Chaubery also told me the same thing that he doesn't have authority to replace the machine, I am not sure if they have anybody accountable or not.
                      I have had quiet a few run arounds on this now and it seems this problem already persists. I haven't really thought that a BIG brand like Kent will cheat me like this.
                      So after giving Kent guys a time for whole 1 week I am left with no option but to knock the door of Consumer Forum as even after buying the best product in the market I am having problems with its after sales.

                        I purchased Kent R.O. Grand+ Bearing Sl.No KR[protected] on 6/5/10 from V G M Enterprises ,37,Duraisamy Pillai Street,West Tambaram, Chennai 600045, Ph +91-[protected] on payment of Rs 16,000/- vide order no. 10046 Dated 6/5/2010.

                        The Unit started giving less discharge problem from 3rd month onwards. Even after some visits of service engineer, Changing of candles on payment , the problem could not be rectified. The unit is now out of service from 8/12/2010 .

                        The company, Kent RO systems Ltd is not responding despite several online complaints.

                          SIR there bad service of costumer no response of dealer . 21 days are gone to ignore my complaint. we bought it on listen name and fame of kent but very bad services. we drink water 15 of ro and other days simple is this company is called health care my family is suffering by a bad health.AND Mr.RAVI GARG IS SELL AT VERY HIGH AMOUNT TO US Rs.16450.                             I had purchased RO on[protected] and extended AMC second time on[protected]. I complained to co's customer care deptt. on[protected] under complaint No.652459 that the water of RO had become non-drinkable. Mechanic visited and told me that Memraine of RO would be replaced. Memraine was replaced but the TDS of water was metered as 300+ and water was still sore & non-drinkable whereas the TDS should be around 150 for sweet & drinkable water. I requested the mechanic to remove that low quality memraine and bring the other one. Then mechanic showed his helplessness. When I asked the reason from mechanic as well as their office, they told me that company had stopped supply of previous memraine of high quality & the present memraine works on hard-water having TDS as 1500. Now, my complaint is, why company has stopped supply of previous memraine of good quality ? We are forced to purchase water from market. Our RO worth rupees thousands has become useless for the last 15 days.

                              We purchased KENT RO GRAND+ in 2009 end and since then we are facing problems. After a few months after the purchased this kent RO(our headache now) it started giving problem like water leakage from pipe. We asked service guy to fix that else replace whatever required parts but he gave us stupid excuse that in winters water gets stored in that and usually get leak and in summer it works fine which we didn't accepted.

                              So after sometime we logged same problem as due to water logging motor was also getting rust. Complaint was attended by one of the engineer who open the purifier and was not able to re-fix that and left in opened state and assured that they will fix it and replace required parts. When no one turned up then we again contacted customer service then they said that these days parts are not available.
                              We requested them to re-fix (as it was in dis-mental state) in atleast previous state but no one bothered to do so. Since then it is in dead state(dis-mental state), no one come to fix it even after several calls/complaints. We also told them to fix it on chargeable basis but no luck.

                              Now after huge frustration we are moving to consumer court to sue them for mental frustration and for their poor service.

                                Hello All,

                                I have purchased Kent Grand Plus mineral RO water purifier a year ago.

                                I got call from the person who sold me this product. He told me to change my filters as its been more than a year now(its the usual procedure). So, I agreed to change it at a cost of some 1000+ and he sent a technician with the new filters.

                                When I saw the filters, I found that they are duplicate as there was no Kent mark on the filters, sticker was also fabricated and there was no date. I learnt this from one of my friend whose brother is also an employee of Kent otherwise I would have purchased it.

                                So, when I called up the person who sold me this product and told him that his filters are duplicate and I told him that I know how to differentiate between original & duplicate, he immediately agreed to send me original filters and asked his technician to get back duplicate ones.

                                So, guys be very careful about this kind of frauds. As, the amount is not so big we hardly care to check all this.

                                Hope this post will be helpful to everyone who is unaware of this kind of frauds.

                                  hi i have purchased KENT RO on 25FEB2011 through VGM enterprises /tambaram,chennai.After purchasing with in 2days i found leakage in wate tank .i have log a complaint to dealer they came after 5days and did some changes till now leakage problem in water tank not rectified i have escalated this issue with company and VGM enterprises ,tambaram still not sorted out.when we call up to VGM enterprises tambaram local dealer for KENT RO they are not responding .please assist.

                                  We have purchased the Kent Grand + in the year of 2011 December from VGM Enterprises Chennai Tambaram.

                                  On June 2013; we have log the complaint to VGM Enterprises for "Purifier did not work" .

                                  After a few days later VGM representative broke some spares in the KENT and they said it is not a important part and they charged (inclusive of Carbon and Sediment cleaning)1100Rs and for service they charged 450 Rs. separately. On that time also water supply is not proper so they removed one valve kind of thing and instrument is directly connected to power;after that water supply is ok and the representative said it is working fine. -"We thought the issue is resolved"

                                  For a couple of week again" purifier did not work" then the complaint is lodged and they changed 350 Rs worth of spare and went off.

                                  Then this week the purifier is not working again and the complaint has been raised to VGM and they came and said you have to spent 6500 Rs. for Parts and for service is also chargeable and it is 1000 Rs.

                                  So Finally the product cost is 16000 Rs. After an year we spare cost comes around 9000 Rs. which is more than 50 % of product cost.

                                  Please look on the service provider and their charges. The service is still worth to proceed the good relation ship with the product user.

                                  For your information if the issue is not solved by KENT or the Service provider VGM Enterprise
                                  I called Kent and they redirected me to VGM Enterprise and on 20/04/2012 I purchased Kent Gard +.
                                  Which worked fine till 07/08/2013.The filter had to be replaced. Then again on march 2014, had to call the service centre for some problem and they are insisting to Chang the filter again and also replace some part inside. Which is not acceptable. I think I have wasted money in wrong product( Kent ). I will never ever recommend any one to buy Kent, because the quality of the product is very poor and the service (VGM Enterprises, tambaram, chennai- 45) is very bad.
                                  I defenetly think Kent Gard+ is not worth for the money that we pay..

                                  M/s. VGM Enterprises, is one of the worst service provider. I had been using KENT RO since 2008. I was in Rajahmundry and recently go transferred to Chennai in July 2014. Since then I had spend nearly Rs. 7000/-, but still the machine is down. They use in-genuine spares. Very bad customer representative, very rude.

                                    I had puchased a Kent water purifier in Mar'10 from Lucknow Dealer Kent Water Purifiers .The purifier was serviced only one in july '10 against to mandatory services .Despite calling up the dealer there was no response on the contraray the incharge Mr Vedprakash ([protected]) insisted that all call complaints are logged and attended. Since past 3 months I have been recieving calls from their office informing that couple of their technicians have follied and have been removed and that we should not entertain them.Everytime time I recieved such call ,I requested them for servicing and reminded that since after the servicing in July'10 there is something wrong and we have been having an upset stomach. I went down with typhoid and had to mange with processed water since Feb'11.Please escalate to the authorities for the resolution.

                                    One Eureka Forbes water purifier was purchased by me on
                                    [protected] from VIPIN TYAGI GROUP CUSTOMER SALES SPECIALIST, 832, SOUTH CIVIL LINES, CIRCULAR ROAD, MUZAFFARNAGAR-251001 (U.P.).No service has been provided by your DEALER. They have come only once in past. Although I called him on telephone, and fixed the stand, on payment of the price. In spite of our request he has not changed the filter of our instrument till today as promised. Six days ago, I informed Shree Vipin Tyagi on mobile no. - [protected], that my instrument is not working properly. But he did not send the service man till today.
                                    3 persons in my family are under fever since then. I am not getting pure water for my family. I do not know how many members of my family will suffer due to impure water.
                                    It’s high time that this issue of grave importance needs to be focused upon. I expect n urgent reply from you.

                                        Dear sir,
                                        we had purchased a KENT RO water purifier from their authorised dealers M/s VGM enterprises, tambaram, Chennai in 22 October 2010. we had received the machine with a wrong warranty card number and without bill.

                                        When we informed the kent company manager Mr Srinivasan phone no: 28297994, he confirmed us in email stating the company is aware of non issuance of bill and wrong warranty card given but will take care of all repairs .

                                        Last month our machine got repaired , we informed Mr Srinivasan and he told us it will be replaced due to company defect. From that day he has been commiting it will be done immediately but there is NO ACTION till date.

                                        Also they are been selling products without bills proabaly evading taxes which is causing revenue losses to the state and country.

                                        Also it is astonishing a reputed company like Kent is having such unethical practices of non replacement , repairing of product
