[Resolved] HDFC Bank Bank Credit Card — Harassment from HDFC Credit Card Debt. department | |||
I am an existing customer of HDFC bank and holding a credit card with ending ****5625. I have been making the payment on time. But, suddenly due to some very bad financial issues I am not been able to make the payment on time since two months. I had blocked my card to get rid of all the taxes. Some of the debt dept. people who are calling me for the same but, I am trying to make them understand about my current condition. But, yet they are treating me like anything… and started abusing me and harassing my parent also by calling them. I have been telling this people that I am not in the condition to make the payment right now but they are not ready to listen to me and started abusing me and its happening several times a day. One of them named Amit and some lady employee who call themselves as HDFC Bank Managers with PH. no. 61396300/ 61396400/ 33016900 and 30552300/ 42254900 etc. etc… Also they keep sending those messages from “MM-Dolph4” saying that it’s from HDFC Bank Manager and will take legal action and so on… I request HDFC to please close my card so that there will not be any more added tax. I want to make the settlement as soon as I get out of my current situation and I will be in touch with HDFC Bank directly. But please stop harassing and abusing me including my family members. These types of foolish behavior from these people may leads HDFC Bank and their services to a very bad impact. I believe the concerned dept. will have the proper justice and give me the right solution if they really care for their customers. Was this information helpful? | |||

HDFC — Abusive harassment
Hi, I had credit card number ************2531.I settled the Credit card amount on 31st Oct 2008. I have the Settlement agreement and the Payment receipt also.
But know for some days I am getting threatening calls from HDFC representatives for the Credit card amount. Even though I informed them that I have already settled the amount they call at my home. They visit my place and thearten my children and other family members. They call at my work place, My wife's workplace and use abusive language. They threaten me for many things which could not be explained here.
They use such a language and words which is not acceptable at all.
Please look into it ASAP other wise I have no other option but to go for some legal actions against HDFC Bank.

HDFC — Credit Card/ Harassment and abuse
Dear Sir /MadamI have been constantly harassed by the collection department for payment before the due date and additionally no bills have been sent to me. I have received a life threatening call from Mr. Samir, Ashish Kantharia number [protected] at 1200 HRS dated 17/06/2008 insisting make the payment or he will send extornists for collection from . I have made a formal police complain for the same at MALABAR HILL Police station and the recording of the same handed over. My lawyer will seek further action. Considering this treatment Im not making any more payments and seeking to file legal charges against HDFC. I have informed HDFC on the same email. I wish to press harassment charges against the bank.
