Dear Sir / madam,

Subject: CASH ON CALL AMOUNT ON MY CREDIT CARD # -- 4050XXXXXXXX7072

This is to inform you that I was informed that my account was credited by loan of CASH ON CALL on my CREDIT CARD Number: 4050XXXXXXXX7072 for amount of 84750 INR.

I had called up your executive and requested to cancel my request. I had also informed your verification call officer and processing officer that I don’t need this amount and kindly reverse the amount which has been credited to my account.

I had received this amount of 84750 INR at 4.00 pm on 20 January 2010. Since that day I am calling at your customer care number and sending regularly mails to your customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com email and requesting for reversals.

I immediately made a call for reversal as soon as the amount was credited to my account. I was told by your executive that it will be done within 04 working days. Now after repetitive calls and mails I did not receive any response from you neither by mails and nor by calls! No one bothered to arrange a call back or even reply by mail. In spite of several follow ups from my own side. I am very much shocked with the poor response for my complaint.. I have been mailing since January 20, 2010 the day my account was credited with the 84750 INR (cash on call)

I was assured on 20 January 2010 itself that the amount shall be reversed within 04 working days back but to my surprise it never happened and I kept complaining and calling your department and requesting your executives to do the reversal at the earliest!

Now more to my surprise yesterday i received a call long back saying that i have to pay the pre-closure fees to reverse this amount. Since day one when the amount was credited to my account, i have been sending emails and making long calls to your credit card department requesting them to reverse this amount which was all in vain.

And now after a month, i have been asked to pay the penalty for the pre-closure of loan. Your representative had a very bad and improper behavior while taking to me on call made today by her which was not acceptable at any norms.

I have been told that the amount could not be reversed as this amount was utilized by me, which is totally incorrect. Just see my account statement and details.

Day 01, January 20th 2010: My account already had 202017 INR and after that 84750 INR was credited to my account. After that day my account was credited with my January Salary and Bonus amount. Your executive gave me the reason for charging me with the penalty was that I had withdrawn any amount due to which the Loan amount was considered as UTILISED.

I had withdrawn the money on 06th February 2010. Your department had time for total 17 days (from 20 January to 06 February) why the amount was NOT reversed during this period, as I had been calling since January 20, 2010 then why the amount was not reversed and why things were NOT communicated by your department.

Now I am tired of requesting mails and making long phone calls, your department never responded and now after one month exactly I am getting calls to pay the penalty for the amount which was credited without my consent and after several follow ups I am asked to pay penalty.

Solve the matter if you can and accept Fault from your end or otherwise cancel my credit card. I have all records / proofs with me of all the mails sent by me since January 20th 2010 to till date as well as all phone calls made by me requesting the reversals.. Your executives and department is mere responsible for this issue which is necessarily created by their fault and negligence and it’s only me who is at losses in terms of MONEY and TIME.

This is my last mail to your credit card department and hence forth I shall NOT take any liability for any dispute arising for any payments to be made unless and until the issue is properly solved.

    My card number is [protected] I have payed the total settled amount of Rs.60000/- but I am getting calls for extra payment of Rs.5500/- earleir also I have sent a complaint. A cheque of Rs.6200/- was put in my account which was not issued by me and the cheque was dishonoured I came to know only after the notice fron advocate I conveyed to him that this is not my cheque. I gave a payment of Rs15800/- the balance of the settled amount on 24 feb2010 and there was a entry of Rs. 400/- also which was not paid by me. I dont know who has done it for his/her personnel gain. Iam getting the statement also .I have paid the settled amount so the statement should not come to me neither any call for payment.

    I spoke to your Settlement Department I spoke with Aman (office in Rajouri Garden ) as per our conversation we settled the bill and after making the minimum payment he starting ignoring my calls ... People from your recovery department... Call on my landline and use abusive language...I am not scared of them but I dont want to loose my professionalism ...after dealing with you r CCE Mr Aman ...why people from your recovery department come at my place ...Please if you can look into this and can contact me on [protected]
    I had HDFC credit card number [protected]. Last year I paid all dues on the card and discontinued it. As per the arrangement all payments were made by cheque. However an HDFC employee lost one of the cheques and we made the payment to him in cash. We still have the receipts for the same. Even delhi court gave the ruling in our favour on it and asked HDFC to issue us a no-issues letter. However just yesterday we recieved another threatning letter from their lawyer stating that we now have to pay over 27000 rs now. How come did a meagre amount of 5000 turned to 27000 we don't know. These miracles happen in the bank only - specialyy when the come calling for someone else's money.

    This mail is intended to bring to your notice that the me and my family has received threat calls from HDFC Bank Ltd. Pune Branch for every now and then

    regarding my Card: ( MASTERCARD PLATINUM (credit Card ) A/C Number: [protected]- Date of Expiry: 12/10-- In the name: Abhishek Saxena) For regarding the same I had already inform to bank that I am not able to give money due to heavily financial crises in my family and the same time I had lost my job too which were already brought to everybody’s notice. (HDFC Bank )
    so in that case I was requested to settle my account which was aprox 1 lac.into 7 EMI. For any how I had pay my 4 EMI up to more than 54 thousand after that I was not pay due to crises as I already mention above.. but they need to realize that it is highly unnecessary if the bank revert back my settled account and every month they charge heavily of interest on that..which is not acceptable.

    And also every now and then HDFC bank guys call me in a very danger manner they keep on harrasing me by calling me up.which is not correct as per the RBI guidelines.

    At last I request you to pls have a look the RBI Guidelines and take proper action against the HDFC bank otherwise please let me know whom should I escalate this for higher authorities.

    Just one point worth mentioning here. I am just trying to put forth some facts and creases which we can iron out with some understanding.

    Dear Sir,
    I hereby like to draw your kind attention for consideration of the following request. I, Sanjib Koner have a salary savings account with HDFC Bank, City Centre, Durgapur - 713216. Further for your information, I possesed a HDFC credit card vide no. [protected], whose final settlement had already been done on 11.11.2006.
    Later, in 2007 I applied for a personal loan which was sanctioned & accordingly, E.M.I. being deducted from my aforesaid account directly. On 01.10.2009, I appealed for top-up of my existing personal loan. To my utter surprise, the personal loan section of the HDFC Bank, City Centre branch, says that, there is a write up prevailing against my credit card. Therefore, to get further sanction of personal loan, the aforesaid write up needs to be omitted first by the respective department.

    I enclose herewith both the settlement paper & the money reciept as well for your reference.

    Henceforth, please pursue the matter & do the needful at an early date.

    They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

    HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

    That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
    They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

    They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

    *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
    *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
    *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
    *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
    *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
    * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
    *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
    *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
    *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

    Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

      In my salaried account of HDFC i am facing problem.
      When in november & december i tried to make DD for Educational purpose my HDFC bank of bhayandar told me that they are getting a memo in their screen saying that ' i cant make any DD or Submit cash in any other branch except home branch that is Grant Road.

      When i visited Grant Road branchon around 21st december, person their in teller counter told me that they cant see any problem in anything and for educational i can make my DD or submit a cash. I made my 2 DD on that day and that too in that a girl in the teller counter made a mistake in making one DD and they made me come back from my worlioffice on saturday, thanks to my coleague they managed in office in my absence.

      Now on 22 of this month when i visted dadar branch, as it is near to my pickup point for office they told me the same memo i requested them its for educational purpose and told them about the mail them to do.
      They replied that they want person name whom i had word which any normal human being cant remember for 3 months, i asked them to give me number of that branch they dont have that also.

      they dont have a common email ID for one branch and more than that in their system they neither have Landline number due to personal life and offfice life i cant really make a time to go again in grant road or to dadar branch i am just fed up of everythng

          Dear Sir,

          I open up my salaried account with HDFC bank (zero balance). When I left my job HDFC bank called me up after three months that they have already change my account into saving & I have to keep Rs 5000/- minimum balance, I agreed to it, now I was holding Rs 5000/- in bank since then. Recently when I checked my account details after aprox one & half year I was shocked to see my balance was below Rs 5000/- (which was minimum amount). I called up HDFC customer care but of no use, then I visited my nearest branch but still they didn’t help me although I told them that I am 7 months pregnant & my doctor prescribed me with full bed rest. And can’t go to noida where my actual account was opened, they instead me to go there only and that they can’t help me in this matter anyways they told me why we will refund you money from our branch? I visited noida last week I had a word with Mr. Sarvesh Sharma who told me that he is the branch manager of noida branch sec 18. Firstly he was not able to look my account details in his own branch where I am having my account, secondly he told me that you have not updated your account balance which is now minimum Rs 10000/- then I asked him that no one told me & no intimation was given to me that now the minimum balance is Rs 10000/- instead of Rs 5000/- he told that his branch has send me a letter to my given address but when I asked him to show me who has received the intimation letter which they were saying the had courier to me , he was not ready to listen to me but when I shouted he told me to write a letter regarding the refund, I gave the letter & he called me up after one week saying that his branch manager is not agreed in give full refund he told me that they will give me only one charge which was detected but not full refund that’s all. Also he told me that a quarter is coming he will deduct the next quarterly charges also on 1st April 2010. They now you are requested to look into the matter as early as possible. I would be so thankful to you if you do it at the earliest as I am 7 months pregnant and I need the money and unable to go to noida again as my doctor prescribed me with full bed rest.

          HDFC Bank — for not tranfering the money to sb account

          Dear sir,
          I have opened an account savings in your Bank , D 48/141 Ishwar Towers, luxa road,
          Varanasi, through ur senior sales officer Mr. Vaish Khan . He has opened my account without the initial which I keep usually in all my accounts, all my document which I have given for reference was correct and the name was wrongly writte.. I have consulted regarding this with Mr. Vaish Khan and he advised me to open another account in saving and I have opened the new account also in the same branch through Vaish Khan . I have requested to close my first account which I had opened account no. [protected] and I have submitted all my chequebook , debit card and the whole kit which bank has provided me and told them to close my account and credit the amount in my new account no.[protected] on 7.8. 2007 . I have again visited on 11.9.2007 to the same branch the account is not closed on 11th , the same day I met Mr.John the branch manager and he told me that it will be done within the next day itself then the same day I met Mr. Saurabh Maharaj assistant manager and constantly called him several times and every time I call the answer I get is today it will be done . Till today I have checked my present account and the money is not been transferred and my account is not closed yet.

          Even the bank persons who took my documents has not given a receipt also. In any bank i[censored] close an account the time maximum is taken is half an hour . I will close all my accounts in HDFC and inform all my collegues and also give information to local media agents in Varanasi , how the bank like HDFC works in Varanasi.

          The ATM provided in the Lanka , is always out of order the AC doesn’t work and all our international students who use VISA cards mostly use ur ATM in lanka . Customers like us are finding it very difficult the man who sits there mentions that no care has been done by the bank so far because of interrupted electricity , no generator ,nor ups is provided there . In this conditions most of the customers of our University may close their account because o[censored]r service to the customer and I will definitely inform to media people how irresponsible is the funtiions of the bank . How long I will have to wait to get my amount transferred to my new account .

          Hope u will take necessary action regarding this.

          I have an A/C with you my A/C no. is [protected], In the morning I am visit your Janak Puri B-1 Community Center Branch for deposit some cash in my A/C, but there was a cashier who told me that you have submit your cash at you home branch (C.P) only, then what is the mining to open your branch & what is the facility you are providing to your customer.Also I have complaint about your Customer Care No. benefit so many time I called up, but your customer care executive will never connected.

          I am an account executive of a Multinational company. We are operationg a salary account in HDFC-Kundli (Sonipat) Branch. We are not setsfiy with the services of this branch's employees.
          They are taking 3-4 days in transffering the salary in employee's accounts. And they never pck any phonecall of customers.

Please check the status and tell me that this account is salaried or saving. if this is a saving account then please covert into salaried A/c (Zero Balance) because the Litch Knowledge Center tranfered my salaried amount directly to my account.           Dear Sir,

          I have an account in HDFC bank, Panipat Haryana branch. Account No. is [protected].



          This is with reference to above said subject, around Rs 828/- is deducted from my account without any prior notice which is really unfortunate and not acceptable. When I inquired with HDFC customer care I came to know that amount is deducted as I have not maintain minimum balance required for saving account.



          Note that I was having salaried account in HDFC bank since last 2 years & it is really harsh & unfortunate to come to know that salaried account is changed to saving account even though I repeatedly requested to Panipat branch office for not doing so. In this regard I sent mail to HDFC bank customer care as well which I am attaching herewith for your ready reference and I received reply against that confirming procedure to change saving account back to salaried account. So I don’t understand how you can deduct amount from my account wherein I have already initiated required procedure to treat my account as salaried account.



          Considering all above said things I request you to refund Rs 828/- to my account to the account no mentioned above and also request you to change my account to salaried account. All necessary documentation required for this will submit to panipat branch office by tomorrow morning.

Please check the status and tell me that this account is salaried or saving. if this is a saving account then please covert into salaried A/c (Zero Balance) because the Litch Knowledge Center tranfered my salaried amount directly to my account.             Hi,
            I recently got a shock when my bank balance showed up as -1339 Rs. I then got a call from HDFC representative saying i had to deposit money or they would charge interest on the amount.
            When i asked him for an explanation as to why my balance was negative he gave a very unconvincing reply saying my transaction on feb 20th didnt process through due to a network problem. Hence it happen a month later and they deducted the money.
            My query is why should i get penalized for a transaction that didnt happen due to a network issue that HDFC had?
            And even if the transaction didnt happen in 20th feb why wasnt i informed or when it eventually happened why wasnt i notified?
            Why call after the balance goes negative and ask me to deposit money immediately or threaten to charge interest?
            This is the 2nd time im having an issue with HDFC. They took 2 and half months to give e my welcome kit and account details when i opened this account. I was without a salary for 2 months.
            And now they do this.
            This is the kind of service i hate.
            Kindly help. Is there any way i can book a case against the bank and teach them a lesson for being utter .

            "Hi,
            It has come to my notice that I have a negative bank balance in my account.
            Now the last time I checked my account I had a balance of 700 Rs in it.
            When recently I swiped my card at a petrol bunk the transaction didn’t get through.
            To my luck I wasn’t carrying any money with me. Not only was this embarrassing but I had to call
            A friend of mine to pay for it.
            Now can someone explain why I have a negative balance? Doesn’t it beat the purpose of having a debit card?
            I did get a call from one of your executives who told me about a transaction that didn’t get processed feb 20th due to network issues.
            And he demanded that I deposit some money to negate the negative balance or interest would be charged.
            Even now I find it difficult to understand what your executive tried to explain, as he gave me 3 different dates trying to explain the debacle.

            My question is why wasn’t I kept in the loop about a failed transaction? For some stupid network issue that you guys have is it right for you to
            Put the customer in such a fix? Why didn’t you call and let me know when the transaction failed rather than wait until I have a negative balance and then call?
            Now my pay cycle is on the 5th of every month and I am not willing to pay a pie on interest due to your lack of ability to keep me informed about my transactions,
            And let me know only when its negative and then charge interest.

            I still haven’t got my statement for the month of February so I’m still unclear about your reason given.

            This is the 2nd time I’m facing issues with HDFC and your service till now has been absolutely pathetic and hopeless 'HBL=[protected]' was the complaint number for the first issue I had.
            All I have faced is embarrassment with you as my bank and I have never had this issue with my other account in ICICI. If you guys are not capable of handing a salary account kindly let me know."

            Following is the reply i got from their customer service


            "Dear Mr. Mithun P,

            Thank you for writing to us.

            This is with reference to your e-mail dated March 24, 2010 regarding negative balance

            We would like to inform you that on March 16, 2010 you didn't had enough balance to make payment of POS transaction done on March 17, 2010. As the transaction done on March 17, 2010 was more then the existence balance in the account, the account balance gone in negative.

            We would like to convey that as and when your account goes into negative balance, your account will be debited for the debit interest as per current regulations. This interest will be debited for the period the account was in negative balance."


            Well thats a msg that didnt clear any of my questions.

              Dear Sir
              I have taken a hdfc bank loan 3 years back for rs 50000, it was an auto debit from my salary account, When i resigned from that company i had two more months installment to pay,, so i mantained that two months instalment in my salary account. After 5-6 months i recieved a call from collection agents telling ,i have two months instalment to pay and the total amount has gone upto 14,000 with interest,,, i met them directly and came to know that two months instalment has not been payed from my salary account as the salary account was deactivated,, i confirmed it with the bank,, so the the collection agent told it can payed and settled without any interest,, the settlement was done on rs 9000 which was the instalment to be paid and he has given the receipt also

              Now after 2 and a half year the collection team called to my home ,,, collected my new mobile number, and called me up telling i have some outstanding amount with hdfc bank,, that is 20,000 with interest?????, i was wondering whats happening, i called up the bank and came to know that whatever amount i payed to the collection agent that time is not reflected in the bank account,,, the collection agent asked me the receipt for payment, as it is 3years old i dont know where i kept the reciept as i shifted the home twice after that,,, hearing this he started bargaining for the settlement, he told this is the new collection team and old people are not there in company,, i think every people are misusing the database to fool the people around ,,

                My HDFC Card No.[protected]

                This is with reference to the later recd from HDFC Bank date 02-Mar-2010, stating that they have recd the copy of Transaction for below dispute Amt 1530.00 raised by me.
                And also they have debited my Account for the same .

                they have also send me the charge slip for Rs. 1530.00 but I want to clear that THE CHARGE SLIP SIGNATURE IS NOT MATCHING WITH MY SIGNATURE (as per Attachment)
                THIS IS FRAUD TRASACTION DONE BY ANY ONE ELSE . How can they accept this transaction without verifying the Card Holder sign.

                Deaar sir/madam,

                , I have not signed below charged slip, nor physically present at the time of Transaction.
                And also my sign is not matching as per the record given to the Bank.


                I totally denied this Transaction . Kindly reinvestigate and credit my account with Rs. 1530.00 with penalty charges.

                  Read it do not basket it as the matter is very much serious.

                  This has reference to my previous mail regarding the payment of credit card. I have requested several time to the
                  persons and the ladies calling from the following nos

                  and subsequent threatening calls from the numbers even to my son who is no where concern with all the matter.

                  Yesterday again I have received the call from the bank or the recovery agency ,for makeing the payment. I told them that I know that it is due and over and I am not able to pay this amount right now. I asked them to make the payment next month. On this the concern caller pass the comments to my son

                  " अगर तेरा तेरे बाप से कोई रिश्ता नहीं है तो अपने बाप को गली दे! बैंक ने रोटिया तौरने को पैसा दिया है बैंक के पेसे से तेरा बाप का घर चलता है.! बेशर्मी की भी हद होती है! चल जल्दी से खड़ा हो और बैंक जाके पैसे जमा करा के आ, वर्ना हम तोह ऐसे ही फ़ोन करते रहेंगे और तू हमारा कुछ नहीं बिगड़ सकता..

                  Is this the way to pressurised a person. More over one of the boy Mr. Lalit ( mob No [protected] )came to my house yesterday about 6 PM i.e on 22.03.2010 and then he dialed a number where one Mr. Hervinder had a conversation he is very soft spoken to kill a man. I told him about all the factors.
                  The limit is now unbearable and the treatment is with me like I have stolen the money from the bank and if I will not pay you people kill me.

                  Again in the morning Mr. Lalit and Mr. Harvinder forgot the conversation and again pressurised for the payment.

                  I have no other alternative either I disappear or I will have to use some unfair measures for my self because these people did not allow me to stay in my house peace fully.

                  Is there someone senior and responsible from HDFC Bank who can resolve these issues and stop these phone calls?? Kindly understand I am a responsible person who wishes to make the payment and clear the whole balance.

                  Completely believe your story. Under the garb of a suave, urbane and modern brand HDFC basically is a "kabuliwala" culture bank using lady callers as well to do the unethical harassment act and repeating same message over and over again.
                  Often feel the RBI is in connivance. One day it says complaint is "MAINTAINABLE" and then after a couple of days "NON MAINTAINABLE" . What happens in between only HDFC Bank and RBI knows. So much so for Banking Ombudsman Scheme which was to help harassed customers.

                    HDFC CC NO [protected] settled with bank. Settlement Letter Ref No:069942 via 2 cash installments of Rs 17685 & 2500(Total Rs. 42685) dated 27/01/10.

                    However my HDFC Salary Sav A/c [protected] was marked lien without information on 06/03/2010 & all funds were captioned for the CC balance of Rs. 25493.75 on 21/03/2010.



                    I have completed settlement as per the banking laws & with completed honesty. I have void Settlement letter from bank for the same. Now Bank ceased & withdrawn salary from my Salary A/c for illegal outstanding of Rs. 25493.75 by claiming invalid Settlement. I am in Financial Crises due to which I am not able to sustain my Family of my wife & 2 year old son. Also I am not able to pay my Housing Loan EMI creating a jeopardized situation for me.

                    I have communicated this issue with HDFC Branch Personal Banker Mr Bipin Sivdasan (Tel:[protected] and he has escalated this to the Legal Manager Dipti Parik (Mob: [protected] Tel:[protected]/5) but haven’t received any response from them. Also I have send the letter to Chennai office and Logged complaint to HDFC bank Customer Care with Ref No: [protected]. But haven’t received any communication from them.



                    I want Serious Legal Action against HDFC Bank with reversal of the withdrawn Funds from my salary a/c and Compensation of Rs.25000 for the loss occurred due their harsh steps of ceasing my a/c.

                    Also removal of my name from CIBIL List of Defaulters.

                        I am the owner of this credit card with HDFC bank card no 43467810********.The bank has been harassing me for so long.

                        I have purchase one window A/C with some other purchasing around Rs.26000/- before purchase I asked the bank for EMI than the bank says that is possible and you can purchase after purchasing I have call to bank for EMI than the bank says EMI are not possible now I have been paid Rs.14909/- till last month but my outstanding amount is still increasing which has reached to Rs.37087.20/- bank keeps on charging interest.

                        The whole story is like this

                        I earlier talked to one of their reps he said He will convert whole amount in to EMI and your EMI will be 2087/- per month. I said fine. Than I paid Rs.2087/- on 9th July 09 to Mr. Somdutt Dhawan (Executive HDFC Bank). Next month (Aug 09) someone called me and said we have not any information about EMI and he spoke to his boss and said to me that pay Rs.900/- which is minimum amount and I will try to convert your amount in to EMI. I said fine and paid Rs.900/- on 22nd Aug 09 to Mr. Sonu (Executive HDFC Bank). Next month (Sept. 09) again I received a call by Mr. Sonu and he said your EMI request under process and you must pay Rs. 1590/- than I paid that amount to him on 3rd Sept. 09.Next month (Oct 09) Mr. Somdutt Dhawan called me and said your EMI amount is Rs-2087/- than I asked to him about last two month story than he said your due amount already has been convert in to EMI and your latter with details send to you within a week than I paid above amount to him on 18th Oct 09.next month (Nov 09) again Mr. Somdutt called me and told your EMI amount is reduce now you may pay Rs.1150/- I sai fin and than I paid Rs-1150/- to him on 5th Nov 09.Next Month (Dec 09) I received a call by Mr. Sonu and he said me last story that EMI under process than I asked to him about Mr. Somdutt than he says he is not aware about him than I confused and stopped the payment but Mr. Sonu suggest me that if you don’t pay that amount than your previous paid amount can be lost and he insure me that every thinks are cleared than I paid Rs-1700/- to him on 22nd Dec 09.Next month (Jan 10) again I received a call by Mr. Sonu and he repeat same story than I said fin and paid Rs-1718/- to him on 6th Jan 10. Next month (Feb 10) again call me by Mr. Sonu and take Rs-2000/- on 21st Feb 10. Now I have been paid Rs-14909/-till date and I have all the receipts. Now I received a call by Costumer care and she said your card over due and your minimum due amount Rs-1500/- some things than I asked about my previous story than I shock that above all commitment are false and they have not any record of request for EMI than I submit a request for final settlement of my card to convert in EMI of my due amount after few weeks I received a call from costume care and she said your due amount has been convert in to EMI after less 13% amount on over all due amount Rs- 37087/- and you must be pay in 8 EMIs and each EMI amount will be Rs-4032/- than I said hold first I will discussed with our clique than I will be informed you.

                        Now I don't understand why I do it should be settled with some dignity without harassing the consumer. Now keeping in mind I have used the card for 3 years. After all they have done with my family that is not acceptable at all. Is that what we deserve as Indian Citizens?

                        They have destroyed all my credit history too. With all fake commitments. I don't know what to do. I am just 32 yrs old and this bank has made my life hell. Please Help me.

                        They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

                        HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                        That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
                        They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

                        They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

                        *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
                        *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
                        *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
                        *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
                        *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
                        * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
                        *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
                        *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
                        *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

                        Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                          I am Mr. Suman Kumar Das, Executive Director of Banmala Commercial Pvt. Ltd. using HDFC Platinum Plus Credit Card since long, and I was very happy with you untill one of your telecaller Ms. Saoli Mitra misbehaved with me very badly. She was trying to cantact me for making the payment as the due date was over. I didnt receive the phone because i was very busy with my personal life. Then she contacted my manger on 20.03.2010 at 4.00 p.m. approx from telephone no. 44053619. Last time when the payment collection boy came to me, I gave my manager no. to the boy and he called my manager and collected the payment. From that record Ms. Saoli Mitra got the phone no. and called my manager and asked him "why he was not picking up the phone? was his intention not to make payment.".

                          Today Ms. Saoli Mitra called me at 12.42 p.m. from phone no. [protected], and asked for the payment. Then I asked her why did she insulted my manager. and she told me " without talking too much when I will make the payment." and she was continuously shouting at me.

                          Is this the way HDFC Bank Credit Card section train their telecaller to behave with their customer?

                          I would request you to check my history with my credit card no. I also think if this continues then HDFC will loose their valued customer.

                          I dont know how you will treat this matter, but i think i will give a sencond though to use HDFC Credit Card.

                            i attach 2 photos of bank statement. please find it. IN MY SAVING ACC. THERE WAS A DEBITED 3413 RS. FROM BANK AND I WAS GAVE APPLICATION TO THE BANK BUT I DIDNT GOT ANY REPLY FROM BANK SINCE LAST 2/3 MONTHS.                             HDFC Bank — Invalid charge

                            Hi,

                            I have been charged an amount of 827.25 for non maintainance of average quaterly balance. HDFC bank increased the average quaterly balance from 5000 to 10000 rupees i.e. by 100% and I did not receive any notification from them about them. Even bank doesn't have any proof of delivery with them as according to them it was sent by post. I have this savings account with Shankarseth branch in pune however, currently i am residing in Gurgaon.

                              I having credit card of HDFC BANK & taken loan aginst credit card b& regulerly paid installment as per bank statement per month but financial charges levied by bank is not understandable. Since last 3 year i had paid instalment regulerly but loan amount balance is still remain ,my installment is gone only for finance charges? pls.give suggestion

                              I have a credit card of HDFC bank which is payable by my saving account.I never used my card, but the bank is open a health insurance on my card without my information & charges me against that insurance.
                              Financial & some more charges be deducted.I had not understand these things for several years & charged too much.
                              when I know these things, I had closed the insurance scheme in my hdfc bank branch & request to cancle my credit card but they misguide me & remained open that card.Now after some time, a agent came to me & said to deposit money.The money is very huge.so, they told me to deposit some money 3, 048/- & to do settlement on Rs.10, 000/- I had deposit the money about 3, 048/- & they give me customer's copy.I said to him to settle & cancle my card.

                              They said me that within 15 days the settlement will be done.But after 2 months a legal notice came to me in which I was claimed to 27, 000 in the dishonour of withdrawl the settlement amount from my account.My account balance is nil that time.The agent wasn't said me that settlement money be deducted from my account.If, he demand settlement money, I will give him chek at that time.

                              Now, what will I do? I am trapped by HDFC bank very badly.someone help me & give suggestion.I am always greatful to that who will save me.

                                I am Praful Kumar. customer of HDFC bank, Credit card Numer: [protected] (Old Credit Card Number)
                                used HDFC Credit Card, I blocked over mentioned card in July 2009. I made all pending payment in july 2009. I re-apply for the new card in September 2009 last week. Still I didn't get the card but HDFC is sending me Credit Card bill since November 2009 (In august 2009 bill due amount was zero but after two months latter they sends fresh pending bill). I mailed many times to HDFC customer service but never get any positive response. They told HDFC Ergo premium is activated on that card. If I didn't get the credit card yet then how can they activated this service? HDFC bank never answered.
                                They leaked my personal information to other service provider which is unethical. Now I want full settlement of this issue.

                                  there is harraresd working conditions for female employees in hdfc
                                  The working environment for female employee is pathetic, Branch managers harass female co workers n use comments to put mental pressure, ask for resignation every now n then, ask female employees to work late after office hours, ask to stay back n finish work any how, i wish i cud file an FIR against branch manager n cluster head.

                                  HDFC leading RIGHT brand but unfortunately in WRONG hands .

                                      I had applied for a housing loan with HDFC BANK
                                      Till today i am searching for my status of application
                                      the concerned DSA is also unreachable.
                                      I am still waiting for my papers and cheque that i had deposited with them.
                                      The DSA (HQL GLOBAL P.LTD.-Ahmedabadmr.divyesh mob ;[protected],[protected]) .did not give me any reference number.
                                      I am not sure how pathetic the service can be.
                                      Numerous times i have called their customer care number, so many times i have visited AXIS BANK,
                                      but seems all have deaf ears (from top to bottom in hierarchy).
                                      Now this is my last resort to sort out the issue.

                                        This is to bring to your notice that I, Lalit Valecha, holder of Policy No. 13444867 & 13444868, victim of a misleading sale by the HDFC Bank Staff. I had surrendered both of my policies under HDFC Standard life's free look cancellation withing 15 days of issue of the policies. And i was been conveyed by the staff that the refund will take place within 10 days of surrendering the policies for cancellation.

                                        Its been more than a month, as i submitted both of my insurance policies on the 16th day of Feb, 2010.
                                        The premium amount paid by me is Rs. 1 lakh for each policy.

                                        Please look into the matter.
