Dear Customer care Manager

I am under sign customer of HDFC Bank.I have two issue with this bank.
1) I have used my ATM card as on dated 20th January 2010 time 14: 00 in SBI ATM machine at NTPC , Badarpur,New Delhi-110044 .

I tried to withdraw 10000 Rs. But cerdenly system hang and I have not get any amount but this amount has been deduct from my account.

I have complain against this in HDFC Bank,C-Lal chauk,Okhla phace 2,New Delhi-110020 as well as in customer care .

    i had taken loan from centurion bank of punjab, for 4 nos of three wheeler vehicles,which was taken over by hdfc bank.
    i had applied for change of my banker for repayment of my loan, i.e indusind bank to dena bank, for which all documentation was done as required by hhdfc bank.The representative had made the mistake of filling the ECS form,she had filled only one form where as she was supposed to fill 4 different forms for 4 difrerent agreements made by the bank,and the amount filled in the form was for all 4 vehicles as it was withdrawed from my previous bank account.The ECS form was verified by my new banker.
    HDFC bank recovered only 1 vehicles emi insted of 4 vehicles for which the ECS form was filled.
    they are still depositing the cheques in my old bank which gets rejected for the reason account closed.
    Now they have levied penalty and cheque bounce charges amounting to a huge sum.In my correspondence with the bank i have expressed my intension to repay the actual emi amount if they are willing to reverse the penalty and bounce charges which is due to the representatives mistake.

      This is to inform that Mr Aditya from HDFC Bank, Credit Card Division from Dadar branch approached and offered me HDFC Bank Credit Card for Kotak employees. Application No.[protected]OW1

      As per his assurance, I was to get the welcome kit with a week's time and accordingly all necessary documents were collected from my office on 14.12.09.

      As per the process, three times verification was conducted in my office and twice in my residence and it was being confirmed that you will be getting the card in three weeks.

      During last week of December 2009 I received three calls on my cell for confirmation and verification at office number. Since i was not in City, I have asked them to conduct after 4th Jan 2010. On calling HDFC Bank Credit Card division, i was asked to drop a letter stating that you are back in town and necessary verification can be completed. According letter was dropped in HDFC ATM Credit card correspondence box in 10.01.2010.

      Till today no verification has been conducted even after several reminders to Credit Card supervisor – Ms Madhuri and Mr Susant.

      Today on 8.02.2010 on speaking to Ms Madhuri, she asked me to once again summit photocopy of my salary slip and ID Card.

      According to me they simply collecting customers document and creating data base and might be misusing else where.

      They are big cheaters in the market.

      Need to take up with Mr Parekh with a copy to Banking Ombudsman

        I am HDFC Bank Credit card Holder For last 03 months & at the time of issuance of the Card, it was commited to give a VIP bag worth Rs. 1500.00 after I make payment of my first transaction.

        But 1.5 months has been passed & neither I have received the same nor their help line has come up with any commited feedbacks in resonce to my misc. verbal & mailed communications.

        I think they are big cheat & are just in the market to add there membership.

        Please help me to expedite the matter.

          Dear Sir,
          My Cheque Book always in office, today when i came office i have received e-mail alerts from HDFC bank that your cheque no. 843949 is cleared and debit the same to your saving a/c, then i check my cheque book and i saw that my few cheques are misplaced. i go to my HDFC home branch (First India Place) Gurgaon, but no one can help me he said that you call our customer care. i call many time to customer care from Bank but no any reply.

          i cannot issue any cheque to anyone but this cheque cleared from my a/c and debit Rs 12000.00 from the same.

          pls help...........

            Hi ,

            My name is Priyadarshi Mishra([protected] / [protected]) HDFC bank has done fraud with me


            Let me tell you a full case

            In Year 2008 HDFC bank given me credit card -[protected]. I used this card for few months and paid accordingly.
            then i informed to customer support dept for EMI.(Due to some reason i was not able to pay back the money)( though i have paid Rs 26000 ) on time
            ,therefore bank offered a full and final settlement of the payment( As per discusssion wth Mr.AJAY Kamble and Miss Pratibha).
            Then i told for I will pay what ever amount bank has decided.
            Then i Paid every month what ever Miss pratibha and Mr. Ajay Kamble has told me like Nov 09-Rs5100,DEC 09- 4800,JAN[protected] LIKE in seven installment)
            ,now HDFC Bank put my account ([protected] Tulsiani chamber,nariman point,mumbai-400021)
            on hold on 3/feb/2010 for None payment of credit card , that is exactly not correct thing then also as account on hold HDFC agent
            called me in and said pay 3400 rs and all of your dues will be cleared .I informed to miss pratibha i will pay by 3rd feb2010.
            when i went to hdfc atm to tranfer money to my credit card ,then i saw my account has gone for onhold. again as i`m in urgent need of money ,But now bank is saying your first
            installment is late full and final settlement is over "now collection dept Mr. Nikhi is saying they will deduct complete money from my saving account (Rs36,560.00) .
            Now i am helpless . idon't HAVE SINGLE MONEY to survive in mumbai.I have spent complete money on calling to hdfc customer care ,miss pratibha,mr. ajay kamble .
            nobody is helping out.atlast mr. nikhil told me your money will go to hdfc credit card dept completely after 15 days. i don't have single money to survive.
            please look in this matter and resolve it as soon as possible .

              I would like to inform you that so many times i have made request for my atm pin (Near by hdfc Branch,vaishali,ghaziabad)after i have recieved my welcome kit.But yet i didn't recieved it on my
              mailing addressed mentioned in my account number .when i asked that guy sitting at vaishali branch
              they can help me out in this condition they seems to be totally helpless. I request you please do the
              needful as i am unable to withdraw a cash especially when i need it and always i have to rush to hdfc branch with my cheque book.Even i am not getting proper response from customer care of hdfc.the

                In my HDFC Bank, constantia building the policy making girl Kavita told me to make a policy for my child and made one in my name instead of making it for my child. I told the reason to the policy office and submit a letter on Dec 14, 2009 regarding cancellation of the policy. But no updation to customer care department regarding my refund till Feb 3, 2010. I had called them 5 times betwen this time and same answer from them that requested forwarded to grievence cell on Dec 18, 2009, no updation received after that.

                Please help me to get back my refund, because i used my child's (3 years) money to make this policy and now as i need it back for his education these people are making this drama. Never trust them. My policy no: 13280387.

                Pls donot buy any product of HDFC as they are cheating customer in form of appointing few temporary agent and giving all false information. I was cheated by HDFC insurance policy named SAP. Which the agent gave all false information and took away my money.
                When you call those agent they dont even respond to your call after few months of paying premium. As they know you are trapped by paying policy amount for certain months.

                  I took loan from HDFC 5 years back and since then there is no clear indication of RPLR that they have in common for all their customers. Because of which it is always an issue for me to calculate my current rate of interest. There are couple of time i have paid .5 % and .25% on my loan outstanding to change in spread which they offer.

                  I really want to understand that from where they generally watch over this RPLR. I believe this RPLR is same for all customers. The only thing which variate is spread.

                  Everytime i approach them i have new story which misguide me and in the end i have to come back empty handed. There is a lot of frustration from other HDFC people which illustrate that this is a common cncern for every HDFC home loan customer so I would request concerned authorities to take some strict action against HDFC so that they can educate their customers in right direction.

                  I do have same problem. While other banks have reduced their interest rate to 9 to 9.5%, HDFC is still at 11% .. I don't know why? They don't even bother to inform us..

                  I have applied for a home loan with HDFC bank, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. I have submitted all the documents as required by the Bank. The Bank was in haste to get the documents and I had furnished all of them inspite of lot of logistic issues. Now its been more a month close to 45 days and im yet to get an update. All i wanted was an update, but the bank officials have been lethargic. I want to apply elsewhere if this is the attitude and service that HDFC has. Im totally irritated and pissed, i want to go ahead with my housing plans and cant put it on hold just because somebody in the Bank is irresponsible.

                  I had taken a home loan and the same has been completed, however the cheques that were given to HDFC as EMI is in excess of the loan amount.The HDFC loan dept. is saying that though the same has been completed the excess amount deducted will not be refunded.

                  I had applied for the housing loan on 20th Sept. 2012 at Koushambi in Ghaziabad (U.P.) and also submitted all the property related documents to Mr. Adarsh Singh (Kousbami Branch).I got the loan sanction information on 24th Sept. 2012 by and SMS and sanction letter on 16.10.12 by your shimla branch as I am working in Himachal Pradesh . After that I was asked to submit the other related documents time to time and I have fulfilled all documents related requirement as requested. Later on, He informed me to do the registry of property on 19th Nov. 2012 But he denied for registry and demanded for the MAP of the property again, then I submitted the same on 20th Nov. 2012 to Mr. Adarsh after waiting of 4Hrs in your office
                  The Shimla branch is sanctioned Rs. 1666657/- But I requested them for 15 Lacks only, which was also communicated to both the branches via email. Now I am in continuously in touch with both the braches (To Mr. Adarsh of Ghaziabad and Mr. Vedant of Shimla) but till date I have not received cheque of my home loan. Whenever I contact any of them they always give me excuses and told to contact later on. I have already paid half amount of property and I am deep trouble and mental pressure as I have invested my whole of the life’s earning in this project. I have to paid late penalty from 19th Nov to seller.
                  Now it is humble request to you that whether you are sanctioning my home loan and or not so that I can approach to other bank to avoid my harassment and delay.
                  Kindly update me as soon as possible.

                  I have taken loan from bangalore hdfc 3 years back. Three months back my husband passed away. I cleared my home loan from my husband claims.But hdfc has not returned my original documents for the last 60 days. They have misplaced my documents.I helpless.
                  They keep on prolonging this issue. How to take action. Since i settled the loan i don't have any source of income. if i would have put the amount in bank and i would have got interest.Now i am struggling a lot with hdfc. I won't advice anyone to take loan in hdfc.I will give zero rating to hdfc.

                      This is to bring to your kind notice that I am holding above said account in your bank.Here are three deduction from my A/c dated 31/03/08 -842.70/-, 30/06/08 -842.70/-, 29/09/08 -750/-.Before or after these deduction I was not informed. Till today(08/06/09) I have not received any statement at my address.

                        dear sir i was using a creditcard issued to me from HDFC BANK vide no.[protected], from a long time. There was an issue o late payment reversal by the card companies in the last period. And i got a call from the bank that i must the final amount and rest amount will be reversed afterwards. But they didnt did it and again & again i was recieving calls from the bank for the rest amount and they told me that the previous call was from the collection agency and make fake commitments to recieve the amount from the customers which is absolutely fraud from the bank side.
                        Know the bankers have debited 4902.00 Rs. from my saving bank account saying that they have written from us in the credit card form.
                        And our bankers say us that we are cmpeletely helpless in this case. Besides when i was approaching the bank to sort out my card case they compeletely refused saying that this is seperate matter from the bank.
                        Know i am compeletely helpless where to go and what to do.
                        If we go to consumer court then it would be very tiring for me as i am 59years old lady & suffering from PARALYSIS.
                        I hope that i would get beter responsefrom your side.

                          Sir I had purchased a washing machine from Home shop18 on[protected] of amount Rs.11,999 through my HDFC credit card no.[protected] through online. But I received a message from HS18 that, the transaction has been cancelled & the amount was refunded on[protected] to my credit card account with the R.R.No.[protected]. But I enquired from HDFC customer care executive, he said that no amount was credited in my account, moreover two transactions has been done, one on[protected] & the other one on[protected]. But HS18 is said that only one transaction has been done to them only on[protected]. I do not understand where the mistake has been done. Two orders are canceled & washing machine not received.

                          After my frequent requesting for rectification of this mistake, the amount of Rs.11,999 was refunded to my account on[protected], this amount was regarding to the transaction that has been done on[protected]. Later I had requested several times by phone calls & fax for the refunding of the 2nd amount of Rs.11,999 regarding the transaction that has done on[protected]. One of your executive has told me that this amount was also refunded to me on[protected], with this I thought that my problem was solved. Then in the next month statement i.e., in august statement you had once again included Rs.11,999. When I called up to hdfc credit card executive, he said that you had given me only TEMPORARY CREDIT, What is this temporary or permanent.

                          I’m paying my minimum dues only with a thought that I should not get any black mark. Whenever I call to your executives, they are saying to wait for 4 to 7days. This was going on from APRIL-09, but till today my problem was not solved.

                          Now I had really fed up with your valuable, needful & great services of NO USE. This is my humble request you to give a best solution for this irrespective behavior of bank people.

                              i have contact to your toll free number regardin cancellation of insurance through credit card and i dont know whose ther told me it will cancelled.but i have received call from [protected] at 14.18 hours and told it wont be cancelled as per seniors. so sir please help me regarding this.so that iwill be graetful
                              Bad experience with heft credit card and Debited unwanted amount under HDFC ERGO Ins policy .

                              I request you pay your kind attention to the fact the i Waseem Ahmed Siddiqui, Nokia Siemens Networks PVT. LTD. 3rd Floor Eldeco Corporate Chambers 1, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar Lucknow 226010 having contact no. [protected] am holder of hdfc bank credit card no. [protected] which was issued to me on 8th January 2011.
                              During the Credit card confirmation call ( before recieving of my credit card ) from customer services the executive offered me one HDFC ERGO Insurance policy & He insisted me alot for the same & told me that If I havnt buy this policy then HDFC will not issue the credit card . I asked him so many times that this policy is mandatory or not & He didnt reply me with fact . Then after that I got call from another no regarding the Policy confirmation & the executive mis communicate the same to me & activate the policy.

                              After that call Immediately, I called to Customer Service centre no & ask them to deactivate & refuse that policy.
                              Customer Care Executive confirmed me that your policy will not be activated & you will recieve again the confirmation call. Then again after 30 mins I got call from same executive & He behave very rudly . I confirmed him that I dont want any sort of policy & He disconnect my phone without saying anything.

                              Today I recieve one SMS "Dear Customer, Your HDFC Bank Credit Card has been debited for HDFC ERGO Ins. policy premium. You ll rcv ur policy shortly".

                              I called to Customer Service centre & register my complaint against the same matter.

                              Kindly credited the amount & deactivate that policy as soon as possible.
                              I will not buy any kind of Policy & will not sign the policy.
                              Kindly revert me on my mail Id (waseem.a.[protected]@nsn.com).
                              amount i will be in deep trouble i will not be able to feed my family, so i request you to please look into the matter and please try to release my account and settle the credit card issue, i really beg to you please try to release my salary account sir, as you only can justify that my salary is not to high and i am only the person earning in my family of 3 members it is very difficult to run the family in such short amount and upon that if the account is blocked than what kind of trouble i am facing looking that i hope you will look upon my request and try to release the salary account

                                I soma sinha, i am holding Hdfc bank a/c (HDFC Bank Account No. :[protected] more than one year, but sorry to inform you that I really been surprised to know that my approved personal loan(A/C NO:[protected] has rejected on HDFC bank. While i already holding HDFC Pre approved loan, this 50 thousand loan i have taken six month before, and recently i have applied PL in the normal way because i already took pre approved Loan, and for that i have submitted all the relevant documents which i have submitted earlier for Pre approved Loan, that time for address prove that i have submitted rental agreement, but now the executives people are telling rental agreement they are not accepting, but i have found in the HDFC website, still it has mentioned clearly rental agreement is ok for address prove(regarding stamp nothing has mentioned) , so after submitting all the documents i have received SMS from HDFC Bank that my loan has approved, after that suddenly i received a call from bank, bank people told the Mobile bill which have submitted that is wrong, so they told me to give original Mobile bill of my husband and marriage certificate for my address proveness, then second time i have given the same original documents, after taking all documents they told that they will credit the amount with in one day, still the day i was waiting but nothing has happened then i have written a mail to the customer care for quick feedback, actually that time i was so hurry because i was going to out of station for my mother serious illness, that is why i have applied this loan immediately, and every day frequently i used to call to bank people who has taken my document and as well local branch personal loan manager, and regarding the same matter i have intimated to them from my native place also, but nothing has happened, when i called after two days that time they told my loan has been decline, i am really surprised to know that, and they told the reason behind is i have written a mail to the customer care without any concern with bank people, that means they have felt very bad from their some personal ego problem, because i don't have any idea about the bank so only for quick response i have written a mail, and one more thing earlier when i took pre approved loan that time also to credit the loan amount, bank people has taken 12 days time when the loan has been Pre approved, so from the past experience only i have written a mail this time. I think that is reason problem has started, and after receiving my mail they have send a cross mail to the hire level that customer is not genuine, so that is reason their not going to credit the amount, this is all the story, and i think this kind of insulting matter is happening first time with me, i am not going put a complain for entire HDFC Bank, my complain to the particular people who is sitting their to approve the loan after verifying all the documents, but they are not sitting for insulting the customer. I have already concern regarding this matter with other bank people, they also told this is shame full matter which has happened with me, so my question is if i am a fraud customer then how i am Holding Hdfc pre approved loan since six month and my account also clear, that details you can get from my account only, that means without verification only they can approve the loan, but we have to show our personal interest, then only everything is possible, if the customer is fraud also that going to be happen, i am a genuine customer that is reason i called them i only told them to verify all the documents, whatever they need for supporting documents that also i have given, but told them to do this quickly, Now i can understand everything, that is why i inform this same matter to my all the office staff and friend, in future if they want to apply any thing in Hdfc Bank then they will be more careful, one more suggestion if the customer is really genuine don't play with their sentiment, because genuine customer are looking loan for some particular purpose's, i don't know why bank people insulted me simply where they know very well that i am a exiting customer in Hdfc Bank, apart from bank saving a/c, i am holding credit card also in Hdfc, that card No also they have taken from me, if any one is sitting there who is really intelligent and knowledgeable person, who want' s to do something for bank and as well as for customer, i think he can able to analysis the customer problem..

                                I have faced a bad experience with HDFC bank, Cochin. They said they would issue me a mortgage loan and asked for processing fees of Rs. 2500/- to process the loan. They said that without the processing amount, they cannot start the process. They said the loan would be sanctioned and so I agreed to pay for the processing amount. They agreed to provide me loan for 13.5% after verifying my details and my credit standing. And when the time of the signing of the agreement came within the next day of informing that they have approved my credit standing and other details, they said that the interest rate is 14.5% as their previous scheme got over. How is it possible that they inform one rate of one day and another rate after everything is agreed by the customer. I also informed them that I would want my lawyer to go over the agreement before I sign them and I cannot agree to an increase in the amount. Then they changed their tunes and informed me that they would give the loan for an interest of 13.5% as agreed earlier, but have to sign the agreement within the next 1-hour. I said that it is not possible to sign the agreement without my lawyer seeing it. Why is the HDFC bank against me showing the agreement to my lawyer? Why were they in a hurry to reduce the interest rate and make me sign the agreement when the issue of lawyer came up? Something is definitely wrong in their dealings. I refused to take their loan and I am happy that I made such a decision.

                                There is a real trap that private banks like HDFC and ICICI imply. They try to be good initially and when they think that we would be their customers, then they tend to act pricey. Again when they think they are losing their customer, they would again put forth new offers to lure you back to them. Beware of HDFC and ICICI dealings. They would trap customers in the end after signing agreements with them. They also refuse to refund processing fees initially promising loan sacntions. I request all of those who have dealings with these banks to be careful and not to fall into their trap.

                                Due with respect I Yudhvir singh want to say that I hold hdfc card and did cut card & deposit in barwala atm branch MUCH BEFORE BILLING DATE eg. 06/10/2008 and mini card was dropped at shalimar bagh atm branch. As your customer service centre couldn’t helped mei had brief details in previous mail. I ordered(invoice no. ADV/04/44924/08-09 ) FROM AVA a product (code no 946 )which cost is Rs.1625+Rs.65 as VAT or SIX EMI OF Rs.281.But HDFC bank IS WITHDRAWING RS.413.33.
                                It is fault of AVA that they are withdrawing wrong & more amount than deal.
                                Secondly it is fault of HDFC Bank they are withdrawing more amount from my C.card account either without confirmation or cheating by becoming partner of AVA, might both are doing this with many card holder. I had cut & dropped, informed hdfc cus.service regarding it still bank send statement showing AVA EMI withdrawal.
                                Both company are just giving new & new no. I had called lots & tired now . so now send me geniune bill & don’t withdraw any amount on behalf of AVA.
                                If Bank not involved in such practice than that should confirm details before any withdrawal towards any third party. Now I am not willing to pay withdrawal done by AVA dated 06/10/08 so bank should recover from AVA.
                                See my past record of paying I mean bank should not have any me, nor I had any problem with bank.

                                Inspite of informing them about my settlement, they were constantly giving me BAD WORDS. Is this your system? I havent got my salary for the month of December and you have leaned my account for no reasons?

                                I am not threatening you, but giving you 4 days time. Kindly clear my due amount from the balance, after 4 days i will have no option left other than going to media and to consumer protection. Its not a threat but its a plea of a customer who is badly affected with your USELESS system.

                                And the another thing i would like to add is after making so many calls & mailed to HDFC bank customer service department they had given me a number of their officer when i called on the same number where i got the answer from their respective debt management officer named sanjay mishra was " do what you wish to do now you have to do what we say ha ha ha..."

                                I am a customer of your Rudrapur, Uttrakhand Branch and my customer id is 26003887. I am having some issues related to your banking services and bank officer’s. These issues are -

                                I have applied a saving account on end of October 2008 through Mr. Mohit Kumar (an executive to corporate salary), he deposited the account opening amount on 15th of November 2008 and after 2-3 visits to your esteem branch and continues follow up with Mr. Abhishek (an executive) my account is opened at 1st of January 2009. I have not informed any cause of this delay. And till date I have not received any welcome kit to my account. I have only account no. which is [protected].

                                I have applied for trading account in end of October 2008, and till date I have received only password not any login details or welcome kit. I have called many times at your customer care center.

                                I want to bring it in your notice that i have an account (Account No:[protected] with your esteemed bank and also i am gold credit card holder ([protected]). i had requested for auto debit facility some years back. and due to my finanacial crisis i was not able to repay the outstanding of my credit card and the amount went very high. After that i have already settled (Rs-44500) with the collection agency for my credit card mentioned above and regularly paying the outstanding amount as per the monthly installments. Dear sir kindly withdraw my auto debit facility as i was not aware about it at all, so that your amount for credit card will not be bounced and no penalties on me as well.
                                Also i want to know whether or not the settlement has been done as per the amount mentioned above because every month a collection agent is coming to collect the amount and i am paying. Kindly confirm it so that i don't become a victim of cheating.

                                i am working in state govt. deptt. as executive hdfc bank agents came me 100 times compelling and issued credit card which i never used i got disturbed when daily i started getting calls from unknown people saying u have a credit card and u are not using it or somebody saying sir u have credit card u can avail a or b or x, y, z diiscount or buy this icici plan or many storieswhy bank is giving my contact nos to public and how dare people know i have hdfc credit card.now end of the limit is today i got a letter from hdfc bank giving me thanks telling me we are thankful to u for using our credit card i was puzzeled and opened my briefcase to see if somebody has taken my card i found my card intact and rushed to bank branch at jammu to tell themwhat is this nonsence how money rs. 6000.00 has been withdrawn when card is withme moreover the pin code envelopes are still sealed i have never visited any branch of hdfc for any sort of transaction how money has been taken out i want to know from bank authorities to give me the atm machine video recordings of this episode before claiming withdrawl and request to deactivate ur hdfc bank gold card no [protected] immidiatly and keep ur fraud with you.

                                I have invested some amount in HDFC Mutual Fund and at the time of signing the papers I have given first cheque from my account no. [protected] which is in the name of sunil sharma.

                                However, I have given request for redemption on 28/5/09 and amount was credited in my account after 2/3 days suddenly they have taken back (debit) same amount from my account mentioning that name mis matched. I went to the customer care, they replied me, we will send you a letter and you suppose to enclosed the copy of that letter and a cancelled cheque from your fresh account which should be in the name of Sunil Kumar.

                                OK, fotunately I have opened another account in your branch in the name of Sunil Kumar, I have submitted the application to the customer care centre in Vipul Agora Bldg, MG Road, Gurgaon.

                                Now, some interesting thing happen with me, they said that, your cheque is under printing which should be in the name of Sunil Sharma and we will received it within 2/3 days, once we received it, you have to submit another application saying that, to cancell this cheque and make a fresh cheque in the name of Sunil Kumar.

                                I need my money urgently, plz do something and kill this matter ASAP

                                This is Rajesh L Masand from Mumbai india, I have applied for HDFC car loan on last week and as per them i was given pre senctioned loan of Rs. 7.5 lakhs, I put up all the document from my side, the documents which they required. as per them rhey demand a balance payment recipt, they told me that amount of Rs. 4 lakh is senctioned for you, please go and make the balance payment to car company and provide the receipt of the same to us, as per that instruction i made the balance payment of Rs. 35000 to car company and receipt of the same i mailed to HDFC bank and also their executive personally visited to me and collect the reciept, after that i got the verification call from the bank after that verification they told me we are not going to grant you the loan as we found your name in the CIBIL with the amount of Rs. 16810 and 9375 & 5396, i told them please provide me the full details with the bank and all who put my name in CIBIL, but they not turned up, they told me we dont have the entire details, in that case what should i do, how will i get the details and how will i get the money back from car company. This is a very bad part from HDFC bank side as i am having a slary account with HDFC bank. Now i m totally in dark to where to go and tuely if any amount is balance i m ready to settle with those banks, but unable to get the details. please help.

                                HDFC Bank — HDFC Bank money withdrawn and actual card blocked without any confirmation

                                One day I did a mistake of clicking on an advertisement of issuing Gold debit card through net banking (thinking that

                                I will get some details about issuing the gold debit card or some form) and the same time it came bad and worse for me.



                                Immediately I called the phone banking and said I don’t want this card and the reply was don’t worry you will get a confirmation call
                                For the same and you need to say no, I said OK and waited for the confirmation call.



                                Rs 500 have been deducted from without any confirmation my account for this gold debit card which I was not willing to have, I called HDFC phone banking again told them the whole
                                Story and asked them to please cancel the issuance and reverse the amount , BINGO-------for any kind of reversal please talk to our branch.



                                I tried going to SEC-31, GGN branch , got the reply please go to your home branch as only home branch can do the reversal.


                                One day I got the information of a card being delivered which I didn’t want and I returned the same to my home branch.


                                Called up my home branch they wanted some complaint against this in written or through phone banking , I called up phone banking and registered a complaint.
                                Got a call again with the same answer card issuance cannot be canceled for any reversal contact your home branch , I asked them to forward my complaint to my home branch

                                Instead of forwarding of complaint I got a message we hope your complaint has been resolved, Thanks for using HDFC (……. What am I supposed to do???)



                                Called up my home branch again, please do this favor to me and reverse my amount but they need a complaint again as that complaint has been closed.


                                6. I was in the middle of all this procedure that one day I went to shopping (having my trust with HDFC debit card) that after all the shopping done I am not able to use my debit card

                                (BINGO AGAIN !!!) there is a procedure of blocking the original card without any confirmation again and I am helpless now having money in my account I am not able to use and have to live on borrowed money.

                                Sir/Madam,

                                With due regards I state that HDFC bank is withdrawing money from my account on a continous basis from past more than on year. The amount has grown to more than Rs.60, 000/-

                                My efforts to get the issue resolved and get my money back has gone in vein and every time I have been kept moving from one department to other with no results. It is banks fault to create a credit account issue a credit card and not mine and I do not want to be penalised for it. This shows the inefficiency and incompetency of the bank and the staffs of the bank. I can assist the bank in the research that it does but I cannot be a approcher any more because I did not make any mistake.

                                I am the only earning person in the family of 7 head count that includes a 4 yrs kid and an ailing father who is on the verge of death with problems like kidney faliure and heart strokes. I bank is not a sentimental organisation but suerly I am.

                                I have made a written complaints to several officials numerous times but no one seem to help me with resolution. Now I will make no more complaints and will reach no department, but my next application would be the last application that would be an involvement of degnified personnels that holds the responsibilty protecting India and its subjects.

                                I have a dead line target of 5 to 7 working days that starts with the day when the deparment of complaint redressal receives the application.

                                One does not hold the right of living in this world when he cannot support his family and do not stand infront of them and HDFC bank holds a big place in my life for doing this. This post is not to request HDFC Bank for resolution but compell resolution to give my money back in my account which is more than Rs.60, 000/-and to let people know that what kind of organisation you run and the trust people build in you.                                 Never ever go with HDFC bank. I have not seen such a worst service from them. I applied for home loan and they took 8 days to log-in the application. But before it self i got loan from other bank. I asked them to stop processing my application (by phone and by mail). Inspite of this they withdrawn the money from my account (they call it as processing fee). Without doing a basic verification they withdrawn the money from my account. In this regards i have raised complaint (thru web & to customer service) and my goodness, not even a single call from them that they are working on it. Never seen this kind of Bank. No contact mail id of seniors.

                                My HDFC Savings Account no [protected] has been locked by HDFC credit card division. My account fund goes on hold. I am not able to do any transaction.

                                My Credit Card No.[protected]. Settlement Amount was Rs.10000/- which I will give payment in three installments, 1st installment of Amount of Rs1850/- which I have already paid by cash. Next two installments Amounts of Rs.4000/-.

                                On 04/01/2010, I called to Shankar Prasad Das, he said that call to Mr. Ajit Singh (Mobile No.[protected]). Then send my father to Mr. Ajit Singh for Solve my problem. But there is no positive response. Mr. Ajit Singh said that call me tomorrow to solve this problem.

                                05/01/2010, I called to Mr. Ajit Singh, he gave me Tel No.[protected], the Number of Head of Credit Card Department Named Ms. Salma Khatun for solve this problem. I called lots of time to[protected], but there is no response. Then Call to Mr. Ajit Singh’s Mobile no. he disconnect my no. again and again. Then I called to Mr. Shankar Prasad Das’s Mobile No., there is no response.

                                I called lot of times to Credit Card division of HDFC Bank, but they are not responding & not gave me right information. They are misguide me. (Person Named -1) Shankar Prasad Das, Mobile No.[protected], 2) Ajit Singh, Mobile No.[protected], 3) Ms. Salma Khatun, Tel No.[protected].

                                How can the Credit Card Department do Hold my Saving A/c without prior permission from the customer or any information from HDFC Bank.

                                HDFC Credit Card Department can check all my previous payment history. I was a prompt payer and should have trust.

                                I trusted the bank and kept money in Savings A/c. I had issued two cheques of Rs.1000/- and Rs.2000/- and other transactions.Who will bear the penalty and bret for the bounced cheques now.

                                I am getting in Problem for my daily transaction from last 04/01/2010. So, on 06/01/2010, Call to Grievance Cell to complain (Executive Person – Ms Sabnam). Complain No.TF[protected].

                                On 08/01/2010 one call comes from Tel No.[protected]. She said that Ms. Salma Khatun, (Mobile No.[protected]) Head of Credit Card Department would contact me for New Settlement on my above credit card.
                                No calls comes from there side, then I called to Ms. Salma Khatun, but I have not get any response and call transfer to massage box. Every time my mobile bill is increase for reason of call to that persons. Result every time I get harassment by HDFC Credit Card Department.

                                On 13/01/2010, one Call comes from[protected], Named Ms. Salma Khatun, She told me for settlement Amount of Rs.13000/- above. I am not accepting it because of my settlement amount was Rs.10, 000/-. After Deducting Amount Rs.1850/-, Balance Rs.8150/- I can Paid it.

                                Then again I have report to Grievence Cell (Ms. Sabnam), She told me waiting for 24 hrs. But I have not received any response or any calls.

                                On 18/01/2010 at 19:29:16 P.M., one sms message comes from Hdfc Bank, Narration – “Amt of INR 11, 473.37 debited to A/c xxxx4317 towards FUND TRF DM – [protected] value 18 Jan 2010. Withdraw cash 40% Faster at HDFC Bank ATMs”.

                                But one thing I want to know. When I have not signed Bank’s Auto Debit & Don't Giving Bank any Authority for Debit Money from my above Saving A/C. Then how dare Bank Withdraw Money from my Saving A/C. On 18th January 2010 HDFC Bank Transferred Rs.11, 473.37 from my A/c without any intimation or call me.

                                Now Credit Card Unpaid Amount was Rs.8150/-, HDFC Bank Extra Rs.3323.37 Transfer to Credit Card A/c.

                                Please help me regarding refund my funds, which is extra transferred to HDFC Credit Card by HDFC Bank and close my above saving A/c and also above HDFC Credit Card.

                                I am Akhilesh, holding a salary A/C with HDFC bank delhi-92
                                I had applied for a new ATM card and got the same by 15 JAN’2010.They blocked the ATM card after issuing the new card. I have not received the ATM till now.

                                I called customer care 3 times, last one on 25th Jan2010(8:20 AM). Every time they we not giving a proper response or even ready to give a complaint number
                                We will revert to you within 3 working days.

                                I had taken a policy of 'Young star' with insurance coverage giving me so many dreams shown in excel sheet. It involved intial amount of Rs 5 lakhs investment, in the yr 2005, followed by payments of Rs. 50, 000 for 3 consequetive years. This was terms and condition agreed at the time of investment .I paid all these payments in NRE. In 2010 January, I got a cheque of approx Rs. 4 lakhs in Indian Rupees (that too not an NRE cheque) from ur bank, saying that all is closed.

                                HDFC Bank — Not aloowing to withdraw money in account

                                Dear Sir / Madam

                                I hold an account with HDFC Mahim Branch (Mumbai),
                                Saturday morning I recieved an SMS from the bank stating that my acoouct balance is Rs0.00, where as the Ledeger balance was Rs 10000, after having a conversation with the Bank Branch manager I found out that all my funds on hold and this has been done by the HDFC Bank credit card department.

                                On my questioning them who has authorized them to do so, their reply is that the HDFC bank credit card team can do so on their will, where as I had never authorised any one to use my account on my behalf.

                                One talking to the HDFC Credit card department they transffered me to the collections department, as per the collections team they have put a hold on my funds as I have not mad my credit card payments and will release the funds only if I pay the money, I have told them that I had spoken to one of the collection agents in November and he had told that I can settle my account on Payment of Rs 11000/- against a amount of Rs 23000/-, I even made a payment of Rs 5380 /- so that he can process my settlement and then make the rest payment of Rs 6000/-, to prove this I have the complete conversation recording on my cell phone.

                                Now the collections team says how can I believe someone who says that he is settling the account and are technically blackmailing me to pay up or they wont release my funds.

                                Issue : Address Change





                                I am visiting HDFC Bank Branch Located at Banngargatta Road, Opp Sagar Hospitals, Bangalore – 560 029 from past 3 days and always a very long Queue at counter number 1, where I can get the address change form.



                                Some how, I am very lucky after standing for 30 min in Queue I got the form on last Saturday and I was told to submit the address proof. Your Website also says, I need to visit the bank along with address proof.



                                Today, when I visited the same branch below is my experience.



                                Initially the person at counter Number 1 asked me to fill the form and submit the PAN card Xerox after standing in the queue for more than 20 minutes. I was not aware this as your website says I have to visited with address proof and I did the same. I ran to my home and took the Xerox copy of my PAN Card and again visited the same branch. Again a very big queue and when I requested them to just accept the form which is duly filled, she asked me to stand in the Queue. Again I was in Queue for more than 15 minutes and queue is not at all moving. I do not know what she is doing there. I fed up standing in the queue and left the premises and again visited after 1 Hr. Again the sitation is same and this time I was standing in the queue for more than 30 minutes and my turn has come finally.





                                When I submitted the form, I filled only Account ID and not the account number as I remember only my Account Id. She insisted me to fill the Account number as well. Agreed for the same and requested her to provide the Account number based on my Account ID for which she refused and asked me to go back to the ATM and with the help of Debit Card asked me to fill the Account number. This time I fed up as the Queue at the ATM is also long. When I explained my problem and requested her to provide the account number, she started interrogation.



                                Asked me to provide my OLD Address. Keeping the Long process of HDFC Bank address change in my mind, from past 3 years I have not changed my address. Same I conveyed her and asked to provide the city name so that I can give the old address details for which she refused. (In last 3 years I was in difference Cities and I could not remember my old Address) Finally I told All my last 3 years address and one of the address is matched with the Registered address.



                                Then She asked me to show the Original PAN Card. Same I was not carrying and I have Laminated Color Xerox of my PAN card which she refused to accept and thrown the forms.



                                My Questions to HDFC:



                                1) When competition doing the address change over phone/mail, why HDFC only has this typical process of visiting the branch

                                2) In this era of E-age Banking, why bank is wasting customers as well employees time ? Waste of Valuable Bank Resources?

                                3) Still why bank is depending on Physical Papers (one side bank spends money for E-paper, E-banking, E-Statements etc)

                                4) Why Bank Website is not updated stating I need to visit the Branch with Original as well Xerox Copy of my PAN CARD?

                                5) When banks are processing Cheques for lakhs of Rupees based on Customer Signature, why same cannot be replicated for address change? Can’t the bank verify the signature and update without Xerox Copies & Original of PAN Card when customer PAN details are available with the Bank?

                                6) When Customer already fulfilled KYC (Know your Customer) guidelines, why all these things are required.

                                7) Why corporate banks asking corporate customers to stand in the queue till their turn comes? Why can’t you implement the token system like others?

                                8) Why people at the counter is not giving complete and right information at the first instance itself?

                                9) When people are standing only in one Queue does bank manager do not have empowerment to assist that person by providing additional manpower or adjusting others who is sitting Idle in the same premises in the next 7 counters?

                                10) Why Payee registration will take 24 Hrs of time for new additions? When competition is doing immediately? Competition sends SMS Code for Payee confirmation or I can call the competition netbanking for payee confirmation. But in HDFC, I must wait for 24 Hrs to transfer the funds after payee registration.





                                Finally HDFC has to do lot many customer Friendly processes for better customer experience in this competitive world.



                                I expect someone will take this feedback and suggestions and make customers life earlier. Then only your Quote of “We Understand your World” is complete.



                                As for as my issue of address change is concerned, I fed up with this process and requesting the branch to arrange a person to my residence and collect the necessary docs and complete address verification formalities and update the bank records.

                                HDFC Bank — ATM not working, Bank Denial of refund

                                I tried withdrawing an amount of 5000 from HDFC ATM located at Preet Vihar Laxmi Nagar through my ICICI debit card dated[protected] amount was debited from my account but cash was not dispensed screen showed that the transaction was successful. Than i tried withdrawing a 100/- note this time transaction was successfull but the note came out with some cables along with it. I Showed the same to the Security gurad at the ATM. Few other people tried to with draw money but the faced the same problem. I called up ICIC and registered the complaint about the same the SR number given to me was SR[protected]. Now ICICI is saying that HDFC has revert with a decline to return the money because as per their records amount was withdrawn successfully. Please look into the matter and take appropriate action.                                 ICICI Bank — Withdrawal of money from Saving Bank Account without approval of Account Holder

                                Sequence of event is as below:

                                1. Jetairways ticket for RS 3,290 was booked on 2nd March, 2007 through ICICI Bank Credit Card No[protected] and same was cancelled on 3rd March, 2007 but ICICI bank refused to credit any amount to my credit card account. Reverse swipe slip of Jetairways was also submitted to the bank through fax and e-mail and falso ollowed up several times without any result from Bank.

                                2. Stopped payment to the credit card due to above unjustified action of the bank.

                                3. Had a meeting at Lok Adalat, Bangalore with ICICI Bank's representative Mr Jayabharata Reddy on 8th April, 2008 and it was agreed that ICICI Bank will revert back to me on the final amount of settlement. Sent the complete detail for full & final settlement on 8th April,'08 after the meeting at Lok Adalat. I had proposed to pay RS 40,750 which is the actual money spent through the card for full & final settlement of the card.

                                4. Instead of reverting back, bank debited RS 64,351 from my savings bank account (No.[protected] on 16th April, 2008 against the actual due amount of RS 40,750.

                                5. Inspite repeated reminders through mail and phone bank has refused to pay my excess recovery back i.e. RS 23,601.

                                6. Had a meeting with ICICI, Bank Malleswaram, Bangalore Branch Manager Mr Jayanth Kamath. He also understood the case and agreed that their Bank's action was unjustified.

                                7. I have been writing to Ms Chanda Kochar for a meeting on above issue but havn't got any response.

                                Excess recovery of RS 23,601 must be credited to my ICICI Bank savings bank account (No.[protected] immediately.

                                I have done complain for a transactions message in my hdfc branch in feb. because I don't get any transaction message on my new mobile number.I contact in my branch many times but I don't get any response till now . I am very irritate on your service.I hope that you will solve this problem as soon as possible.
                                Can anybody from HDFC senior customer service person help me . I am really shocked & I am waiting for the positive reply from HDFC customer service.

                                i am having a savings account with hdfc bank in greater kailash new delhi. my account number is [protected]. On 14th of this month without any intimation HDFC people blocked my account due to some KYC norms.On 15th i visited the branch submitted all the documents they asked for for. but its more than a week now and i have not got any proper response from bank people.
                                i am in constant touch with Branch manager mr. Akash Seth but now he does not return my calls.
                                I have written to griviense redressal of HDFC but they have asked me for saven more days.
                                i dont understand whats taking so long. And when i call up HDFC phone banking they just say that they will arrange a call back in 24 hours. And the call never comes.
                                I am so frustrated that if dont get reply from them in couple of days i am going to report it banking Obudsman.

                                hi i am ritesh jain. I have a savings account with hdfc bank in their GK 1 branch A/C no. is [protected].I shifted my office last month to a new address. These people sent some letters to my office which got returned.Becuz of that without any proper intimation they blocked my account for KYC.I visited the branch on 15th may and got all the documents submitted(voter ID, Drivers License, pan Card and my landline bill). i waited till 16th my account was still blocked, i called the branch manager Akash Seth, he told me that they need some clarification on few transaction.I provided all the details about the transactions as well.Till now my account is blocked and i am not able to use it.
                                my question is if you have to hassle the customer why approch them to open the account at first place.
                                i am trying branch managers number for last 2 days but he is not returning my calls. Some sub-ordinate is anwering his call and saying that he is busy in a meeting.

                                I alredy spoke to HDFC bank they ask me to check with bank of baroda then again i called Bank of Baroda (at vijaypur branch) they told me to check with HDFC bank.

                                HDFC BANK LTD, AIRPORT ROAD, BANGALORE — UNNECESSARILY CHARGING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT

                                why the hell hdfc bank does charge me unnecessarily without my knowledge?? no other bank is charging for depositing money from a non home branch. even if they charge they will deduct only 25 rs. but i lost 110.30 rs for transferring money from kerala hdfc branch to my bangalore hdfc account... why should hdfc do all those things? on an average they are deducting 5-6% of the deposited amount, that too after one month. That means if we deposit 1 lakh rupees then rs 5000 will go into the pocket of hdfc... Please try to resolve this.... I am fed up...
                                HDFC The Mall Shimla (Main) Branch has no standard. I dont know from where they have inducted people over there. They dont even know how to check a E mail leave alone other things. sitting on a counter they behave as if they are doing a big "EHSAAN" on the customer whom they are serving. Lack of communication skills and a utter mess is the order of the day over there. Wheres a similar branch of HDFC bank exists in Sanjauli which is far better in terms of customer service and the courteous nature of the employees over there it seems they have received their trainings well in terms of a professional attitude towards the customer and towards their work.
                                HDFC Bank is the worst bank. It exploits the customer at its own sweeet will. They never intimate on cellphone why they have debited the certain amount although they want customers mobile number. I have worst experience of HDFC people. THis is for public at large an appeal not to open your saving account with HDFC Bank. HDFC is Highly Dangerous Fraud Corporation Bank.

                                Some Representative named Sanjay was calling me on my cell on 16th dec 2012 about my Loan EMI & unfortunately I forgot my mobile at my home desk so very obvious not being answered to that calls, in night same day when i camed at home, i got to see 70 misscalls & blackmailing SMS on my cell, also not even this sanjay started calling to my friends number which I am completely unaware about that, next day i started receiving calls from my friends & reporting me that as got called from HDFC bank, which is completely annoying to me now, I dont know who is Customer in this situtation, either me Customer or Sanjay, & got to know this is how HDFC serves their Customer, I called it as pathetic service.

                                Next day morning 10:15am I answered Sanjay's Call & i asked a very simple question to him why did you text me which is seems to be blackmailing to me, not even this, infact Sanjay was laughing at me when m asking this question & So simply I asked to sanjay, i can't talk to person like you any more, that really irritating me, let me talk to your Senior, he is not responding at that moment for a minute, & later on i told him call me if you allow me to talk to your senior & then got call again in next 2 minutes & finally a long missbehaving conversation from sanjay, then I spoke to his senior Person who's Name is Pratab from the same branch Kandivali (Mumbai), Pratab is gentle in talk & he understand the situtation & he aggred that what Sanjay did is completely Wrong, & Pending EMI is paid on same day 17th Dec 2012 & before ending call Pratab said we will take some action on Sanjay for sure.

                                I dont know what action you & your team can take on him, but one thing is clear that I not happy to continue my account in HDFC any more (Dont worry before closing this account I'll pay every single penny which I took from HDFC as LOAN) & Not even this i'll not suggest to anyone to prefer HDFC bank for Banking.
                                because I dont know is their a tracking system to track such pathetic misbehaving Executives like Sanjay. & their are more chances to have such kind o[censored]neducated & illitrate peoples working in your HDFC Bank to serve worst Costomer care experience.
                                If possible I would like to share this worst experience over Web with everyone (I am ready to do SEO to get listed in top list of HDFC search, so max. people will come to know about this.)

                                  Dear Sirs
                                  I opened a fixed deposit of Rs.2 lacks(50,000*4) on 10/08/2008 in your Karimpanal Arcade Branch, Eastfort, Trivandrum, Kerala of HDFC BANK.
                                  The deposit was for one year 15days @ 9.75% per annum.My A/c no: is [protected] and the Customer ID[protected]. After opening the deposit i handed over four seperate 15g forms along with the deposit opening form. When going through my Account statement i found that TDS (Rs1043 on 6th nov 2009) has been deducted from my FD interest.When i approached HdFC and asked why the TDS was deducted? The answer he gave me was not good, He told me that he had already forwarded my 15G to his Headoffice. He also told me that he was helpless in this matter.. I am surprised by his answer. I requested him to reverse the TDS deducted and inform hdfc head office and do the needful but he has flatly refused and says he cannot help in this matter.
                                  I request the HDFC to enquire this matter and do justice to me.My TDS deduction to be reversed..Please do the needful to reverse the TDS deducted as early as possible.

                                    i was the employe of the hdfc bank and i join the hdfc bank in 16 may 2008. and i was doin my job with the my good efforts in aligarh branch butt hdfc bank given transfer from alifgarh to varanasi in 1 june 2009 when i come to baranasi and i join the varanasi branch that time my new reporting manager was mr. satish kumar patra .. that time i was eliggble for relocation expenses. but whenm i submited my relocation expenses to satish kumar patra and to my regionol head to mr. gaurav rao. they peaple was saying that this bill is forged ...but i given the genuine proof to the bank but they peaple was hareshment thats u give ur resignation or they can terminate me.. i requested to my boses that pls dont harrresh me and u can rejected my relocation claim. but they terminate me wiothout any valid reason and and they blocked my official id without any informtion,, pls suggest me how to i can get my job i am facing the lots of problem. and when i am am contacting to bank but no body are giving any proper answer and now i am unemploye. pls i want to call to media pls help me to i can get the solution of this case ..

                                    You can contact HDFC HR-Head Team sitting in Mumbai..You can also email them about your probelem.

                                    They must have provide you some reason for termination on termination letter/mail.

                                      An amount of Rs.551.50 was detected from the account on 09-Oct-2009 for (‘DP ANNUAL MAINTCHG STAX &CESS – 25958362”) – DEMAT Maintenance. I request you to help me in sorting this out and refund the deducted amount to my a/c at the earliest. The HDFC represenatives had activated by default with our salary a/c.
