I had opted for HDFC CC in 2005. Post that I had purchased few things through this CC.



Till date I am being billed unnecessarily for do not know what. Every month, since last 7 years my account is being debited & yet the outstanding is still as it is. I have been calling your cc & mailing on your customer service email since many months but till date I have not got any resolution.



The CC issued to me in 2005 was replaced with a new one later. But, till date this card is not active. When called up the Call Centre, they say it is active but whenever I am trying to swap it, it does not work. All the more, the charges are still being debited.



I had asked for the statement for these 7 years but there was never any resolution to this. Finally when somebody from your team called me for my request last month, he informed me that I will be charged for the same at Rs. 125/- & hence, I had agreed as in any case you guys are debiting me unnecessarily each month. Now, today I get a mailer from your customer service id that I will be debited for Rs. 10500/- as Rs. 125/- is for one statement. For me even if it is one statement charges I need the statement (one only) for the full period.



Today I come to know from Mr. Ravi (Your CSE) that the auto debit facility is activated for only the minimum amount & not the total amount. I do not know why. When you guys are in any case going to charge me with some silly finance charges, then better debit me for the total amount & close it.



As per my knowledge, I have paid more than 1.2 lacs against some purchase of Rs. 20000/- & yet my account is not settled coz of HDFC CC’s non-co-operative approach.



Hence, As in any case, due to no reason, you guys are not sharing any details about whatever till date I have purchased, paid & whatever charges your have debited to my account so pls cancel my account immdly, deactivate all my services & requests including the Auto Debit Facility & close my account.

Credit Card — CHARGES DEBITED

MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER IS [protected].NO CREDIT CARD STATEMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED TO ME FOR LONG TIME AND LASTLY I COME TO KNOW THAT THERE IS RS 3000/- BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT. RS 100/- HAS BEEN DEBITED FOR CASH DEPOSIT FOR WHICH I DONOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION FROM THE BANK. THUS BALANCE IS MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT IS DUE TO INTEREST AND CHARGES DEBITED FOR WHICH I NOT RECEIVED ANY STATEMENT AT THE TIME. SO TAKE PROPER ACTION AND REVERSE ALL THE CHARGES TO MY ACCOUNT.

    Don't buy HDFC insurance (LIFE Insurance, Endoment Policy, Young Person Life Insurance Pensions, etc.,) they are fraud company with big name, once you take their insurance... they keep taking money, and staff members keep changing, so you cannot keep track of payment, their payment schedules keep chaning every year... managers keep changing. I lost 1.25 lakhs.

    Once you pay the amount, they don't email you back and don't pick up the calls.. they are always acting busy... act like as if they are working prompty.. but, it;s bull all loop..

    Reasons: Managers is not their, The application has gone to bombay/mumbai, Medicals again and again, Apporoval department waiting.

    So, please don't take insurance with HDFC. If you have extra money. Please help to people in-need or help some good charity, PLEASE DONT TAKE INSURANCE WITH HDFC and waste money and time.

    I have all the proof of documents if anybody want's let me know.

    I'm in the process of submitting my application to Lawyers.

      I've been an HDFC customer for more than 5 years. Have my savings account with the bank and also own a credit card (Platinum). I have had a fairly good relationship with HDFC owning to which I also went onto take other miscellenous services from them like personal loan etc.

      I used to normally call up call center to check the payment due on me (billed as well as unbilled) and settle the full n final in one go.
      However, my interaction with call center one day (where I was provided a completely false information about my balance) wrecked havoc in my life. When I asked her that am travelling abroad and if I owe any money to the bank (i wanted to settle all my payment - billed & unbilled in one go as always). She informed me that I owe no money to the bank, thereby leading me to spend money on shopping and hotel.

      I was shocked beyond believe when I returned to India and found a heavy bill waiting for me (the bill included my expences incurred abroad - which is fine, but it also included a previous balance of 24000/-. Despite my numorous calls to the call center nobody logged my complaint. Finally call center started doing follow-ups with me and assured me of resolution.

      The bank however very smartly stopped all kinds of follow ups with me and kept sitting on my issue. Months after months they would let the interest build up on my account. I got worred and called up the call center yet again asking for a resolution. FInally I had no choice but to inform them that am not going to take things lying down and would not pay you a single penny.

      Now this case has gone to the collections team (which is the process bank starts to follow after a point) and they are harrassing me day in and day out but bothering my family.

      MY ONLY APPEAL TO HDFC BANK IS, WHY CAN SOMEONE NOT COME AND MEET ME TO DISCUSS THE MATTER.

      HDFC Bank — Bank bothering my family

      I had a purchase of rs-55000, using HDFC gold card for last 2 year and have been paying, but during the recession I lost my job and and could not pay. I requested the bank to make the payment in installment, but they did not agreed. they just said that this is not possible. After 6 months of this they are calling my family members and me and scolding and threating all the time.

      Please never use HDFC credit card
      To start with below are the details of my credit card -

      I've been holding corporate a/c with HDFC (one of the worst ever bank i have ever dealt with). I made a mistake of believing what their call center associates informed me about my account balance. A customer should not be penalised in case HDFC bank have hired illitrate resources who misguide the customers. The problem is that bank is not owning up to the mistake that they made and instead pressurising me to pay off and settle the account in order to avoid the embarrasment and agony that collections team will put on me. This is ridiculous.

      I'll call the cops if your representatives try to mis-behave with my family. Talk to me if you want to settle the account.

        It is also brought to your kind notice that the agent of your concern has printout that yearly payment of policy 12239224 could be submitted for regular 3 year after regular 3 year payment may policy was discontinued and the payment of Rs.22352/- has been done your concern in the name of my wife Smt.           Dear sir,

          I am a HDFC bank a/c holder for nearly 3 years and I have a couple of loans already taken from them (vehicle and personal). And, all my transactions are clear and no bounces nor any faults have been done. I applied for a personal loan again for my marriage which is commenced on July2nd. I applied the personal loan on May but due to my HR's unavailability I provided the payslip soft copy little late and they put my loan request on pending. I pressed them and they relogged it on june they again have done all the formalities but still they're not giving me an answer either thru message or call. We trust this bank and relying on them for our needs, but if they're deserting us like this on crucial times, where'll we go? I am really ashamed to say that I hold a a/c here who is not at all helping to my problems. I am not asking loan for doing any unwanted expenses! All am askin is for my marriage.. I don't know what is going to happen,, today it is june 29th friday, tomorrow is satday, day after sunday. On Monday I don't think my marriage will go properly... All I can do is suicide ...

            Never ever trust HDFC or their personal loan service. They have the worst services. They offer false promises like personal loan in 3 days and so. You wait for 2 weeks and still they say it is pending. All this happened to me while my salary account is in HDFC and i work in a very reputed MNC. My account number is [protected] in kakkanad branch, kochi. My cust id is 34881199. Now i am going to close my salary account in HDFC and ask my friends to do so also. Any other bank is far better than these cheaters.

            Personal Loan — Delay in issue of Personal Loan

            I have applied for a personal loan on last week of June in Bajaj Finance. I was promised that the loan will be issued in the form of a Demand Draft in 2 days of clearance of Documents submitted. Its been 2 weeks since i have submitted my documents and over a week since they have confirmed that all my documents were clear and that i should be receiving the DD. I have called up many times to Bajaj Finance, Pune call center and was enquiring about the issual of DD. They started by telling me that it was still in pending status and would take 2 days to issue the DD. I called up again in 2 days and the same reply came back(pending stauts - would take 2 days), this happened 4 times on alternate 2 day calls. This irritated me and i demanded to talk to their supervisor. Its then that they told me that it got approved and that my details were forwarded to nearest HYD branch. Then i started calling Hyderabad branch people, i must have made atleast 20 calls. In All of the calls, they tell me that they will call me back but they never do, i made the calls again Now when i call up hyderabad branch people, the story they tell me is that It got routed to some other place and another state. Can u beleive that a Demand Draft to ANOTHER STATE. I dont see a logical reason with the answers they give me. I have made some important financial commitments in view of the Personal Loan and the time they promised me they would issue. I would certainly question their Credibility. If this is how they service their customers. I seriously doubt their future in the Financial sector.
            I have applied for personal loan twice, they have not responded the status, when i checked in the online for the status of the loan but it say that we get back to one working day but till now there is no update and when i call the customer care they tell that your cheque got bounced and i remember that previously when i got cheque book it was on the other address and branch of Chennai, when i applied for the 1st time for loan i have give the same cheque which was issued to me and again i went to the near HDFC bank and i have told that issue and i got to my address cheque book and same as been submitted for 2nd time for loan.kindly help me to re-process for the loan, my Account number is: [protected] and customer ID Number is : 40672656, kindly give me the detail.

                The staff at HDFC nungambakkam branch are really rude with customers.I had gone to the bank to pay my US visa fee.I was made to wait nearly half an hour before being told that I should go to another counter.The US Embassy should think about online fee payment method or tie up with a different bank.

                        This is the complaint on HDFC Bank regarding Personal Loan.

                        One my colleague has taken personal loan from HDFC Bank. Without my consult he has given my mobile number as reference. The bank has not checked/verified me regarding my reference.

                        Here the problem is, the colleague left the company and not paying EMI's. The loan recovery staff are calling me and disturbing me very frequently.

                        I told them the loan customer srinivas Koduri was given my contact details without my knowledge.
                        Though they are asking and calling me only.
                        In this case, the bank supposed to get the confirmation of reference. whether the reference customer is willing to or not willing to?

                              I m not able to pay minimum due amount due to my bad financial condition i am paying minimum due since 3-4 years but my out standing is not decreasing.



                              Sir this is my humble request to you that pls convert my all out standing in a personal loan

                              with emi for 24-36 Month so that i can pay the out standing in easy installments.


                              i have all ready requested to customer care many times but they are saying offer not available if you can not provide me some emi option,I unable to pay your outstanding amount. If you do not provide me any kind of solution i have only way left that i can stop sending minimum dues amount and ask for settlement which is not good for me as well. Nobody wants to be a defaulter but in current scenario i have only two options to pay emi for converted in loan or be a defaulter by doing settlement with the bank instead of paying minimum dues of my card as my financial condition is not good.

                              I am very old customer of HDFC bank and hope you will definitely provide me some way out so that i can easily pay my outstanding to being a good customer of the bank.

                                  I would like to file fraud case against HDFC BANK Ltd, Sector 14, Gurgaon.

                                  I opened S/B with HDFC Bank in May, 2008 and when their executive approached me for opening S/B account, he did not give me any information regarding DEMAT account linked to it. They are deducting Rs 850 annually as annual maintenance charges whereas I am never aware of that I have such account. I only got to know in Jun, 2012 when I say my mini statement where it was mentioned that Rs 850 has been deducted as depository charges. It's typical fraud case where executive did not educate customer with all the details.

                                  Its the worst customer service I have ever come across. I hold a Savings Account with HDFC Bank and want to open a demat account. I have called the Bank so many times and everytime the call agent says that we will get back to you, but in vain.

                                  Then I raised this request through website and after a month some female DSA called up which does not understand English. But somehow she promised that she will send someone but that too i think she is not letting that person leave her and meet Customers.

                                  HDFC Bank — more than a month for opening account

                                  On aug 11, I applied to hdfc bank to transfer my account from chennai to BTM, bangalore branch. after 3 weeks the application was sent back with silly reasons like the reason for transfer not sufficient. I came to know all the transfer requests are not processed by the bank.

                                  Later i applied for new account paying Rs.5600/- (i., e Rs.600 more ) on sept 4. I was promised that I will receive the savings kit by 1 week. It has been 3 weeks now there is response from these people

                                  When they cannot clarify a point, there is hectic consultation over phone and say we will call you back.The call never comes.When you go to their branch it is the same story.After a round of discussions every body will shake their head and say an agent will visit you with the necessary clarification. Try to get the name and location of a senior officer of the bank you will never get.Every time you go to the bank you see a new face and a hear new instruction, Total confusion all around.

                                  I have been issued a dmat account at HDFC bank.I have made complaints to close that account as i already possess one.I was asked by an employee that my complaint has been taken care of and i will be sent a form for the closure of the Dmat account shortly.Its been 4 months that i have not received the form.Despite of my repetitive complaints my Dmat account is still open.Please help me to close this account.

                                  I am not satisfied with your Gujarat Ahmadabad, Naroda branch staff. At the time of opening demat a/c they has inform us not to pay any amount for the same. Now they have charged Rs.330.90 for the same. actually we are not suppose to open the demat a/c. but force fully opened and now they charge for the same.If this type of services you are providing to the customer then we are not interested to continue our S.B. A/C No.[protected], [protected], [protected] and Current A/C No.[protected], [protected] with your bank.
                                  I have had a bitter experience.The problem still remains. I have given a nomination form twice at the branch- and after 2 years they have still not given effect to that. when you send a mail we get a computer generated reply stating they will revert in 5 working days.                                   My name is Avikrit Dubey. My account number is [protected](savings a/c) and i even have a demat account whose account number is 33878861.
                                  My problem is that a when i had opened a demat account in hdfc bank a caller from the bank from mumbai branch calls me up from the number [protected], [protected] and [protected] consecutively to sell me a blink for online trading. On 11th october 2011 he deducted the amount of Rs 4555 from my account and told me that a hdfc staff would be coming to my place with the blink and would help me and show me how to use it. But still that hdfc staff is on the way from past 2 years. I request you to please take a severe action against this issue and help me to get the amount refunded.

                                  Its really discouraging to know that HDFC cheats there customer. For opening my bank account they came to my office and opened Demant account simultaneously without my knowledge and information (without Demant Kit). I m really feeling cheated.

                                  Now when I want to close it, they have only 2 or 3 branches in Delhi for the closer of Demant account. Do any one have that much of spare time to spend whole week behind closer of account for which they never requested even.

                                  I will never ever suggest anyone for HDFC Bank. I have my account in 2 other banks too, but never had this much bitter experience with them ever.

                                  I had a salary a.c opened with HDFC bank 3 yrs back by one of the Private co. HDFC is asking for dmat a.c depository dues which I am not aware of and I dont remenber any details on HDFC salary a.c as I am no more banking with HDFC. Total fraud to the customers.
                                  An amount of 850 has been deducted without notifying me. I got to know that my account is demat account about which I wasnt aware of. This is a ridiculous thing to do where they have forcibly opened demat accounts and now deductiong depository charges without even notifying. I want a quick resolution and these undue charges back.

                                    I submitted a Suggestion/Feedback e-mail through your website w.r.t. AMB and AQB charges that were levied against my account without my intimation, on 18/06/2012.



                                    The e-mail that I received today (below) does not at all pertain to the e-mail I sent. It has absolutely no reference to what I had written on the 18th of June. I did not ask for a confirmation of account closure, as stated in he e-mail below. Moreover, no one by the name of Swapna Kakatkar contacted me on the 18th of June. I received a call today from HDFC asking me about my complaint. I do not know what's going on. I feel that I am being made to run around. I request you to refer to my original email/query again.



                                    In brief, I would like to tell you what happened. A total amount of Rs. 4,138.52 was deducted from my account in June 2012 towards AMB and AQB charges. When I approached the branch i.e. Mindspace, Malad; I was informed by Ankeeta Rathi (Branch Operations Manager) that the account was converted to a Savings account as there was no Salary credited into the account for some time; and hence the charges as the minimum balance to be maintained monthly is Rs. 10,000. I wasn't informed of this conversion.



                                    When I objected, Ankeeta told me that a letter was sent by HDFC to my residential address in 2009, informing me that the account was converted. I have not received any letter w.r.t. this. Moreover, when I told her that I would close the account if this is not sorted, she blatantly told me that I could go ahead and close the account. She also told me that it was not necessary for the bank to send me the letter as it is written in the Terms & Conditions booklet which I received at the time of opening the account, that after 3 months of salary not being credited into the account, the account automatically gets converted to a Savings account.



                                    I asked for an Account Closure form and submitted the request for closure as I was very unhappy with the experience that HDFC provided me. I have been a customer of the bank since 2005 and have kept this account because I liked the services offered by HDFC, although the account was non-operational.



                                    I received a letter dated 19/06/2012 with a Demand Draft of Rs.107.33 confirming that my account is closed. What has upset me is that there was no attempt made to retain me as a customer of HDFC. Is this how HDFC values and treats their customers?



                                    I would really like to highlight the customer service and leadership skills of Ankeeta Rathi. Being a Branch Operations Manager, she was not at all service-oriented. Her tone was curt, rude and unhelpful. She did not demonstrate Ownership or Willingness to help at all. Her body language also showed disinterest. She was not at all empathetic towards me or my situation and this really made me feel that she did not care. Is this the kind of example that the leaders of HDFC set for their employees and reportees? Is this how Ankeeta grooms the staff in the Mindspace, Malad branch? Is it OK for employees of HDFC to blame things on policy and procedure (Terms & Conditions) and shove things under the carpet?



                                    It has been very annoying and inconvenient for me as I had made provisions of the money in my account towards my EMIs and other committments. Now, I do not know what to do and this has caused grievances to my financial planning and budget.



                                    I request you to please look into this matter and reverse the charges levied through a Demand Draft or by some other means (since the account is closed). I have also submitted a complaint through your PhoneBanking officer. The complaint number is MUMC[protected].



                                    Moreover, I have also submitted a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman and hope that this issue will be resolved.



                                    Looking forward to a favorable response from you as I am very upset with this experience

                                    hdfc salary a/c — Charges applied without prior notice

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I have a salary a/c i.e zero balance with HDFC. As I have left my previous job no salaries where credited in the said a/c. In the mean time bank without any notice or any communication had converted the salary a/c to savings a/c.As I was not aware of the same and my a/c balance was below the average minimum balance required for savings a/c,bank had deducted penalty/ charges of Rs.750 from my a/c.

                                    Please guide me,isn`t is the bank duty to inform or send some notice before directly deducting the charges. What should i do for getting back my money.

                                      received verification calls at my office desk, verification got completed sucesfully, now the status of the credit card at the HDFC site is being shown as 'Disapproved' with remarks as ' PLEASE RESPOND TO LETTER SENT TO YOU FOR FURTHER PROCESSING OF HDFC BANK CREDITCARD QUOTING THE APPLICATION REFERENCE NUMBER'.

                                      I called up the customer care and they've told me that there's some problem with the residence address and landmark, but then, if my residence address is the problem then to which address did HDFC guys sent the letter to which i have to respond, i haven't received any letter from HDFC to residence address nor to my office address. I din't receive any email as well.

                                      The guy who was to perform Residence address verification came on a weekday and obviosuly the door was locked, but then, i should have atleast received a call from them saying such a thing happened and to set a convinient time/date to complete the address verification.
                                      How can they just disapprove without proper notification.

                                      I am very much disappointed with the way they carried out the whole thing.

                                      Kidnly, let me know, what is the next step that should be taken to get this thing moving.

All these are fraud calls wherein the person on the other side takes your personal and confidential details and circulates the same in the market. You would observe receiving promotional calls and messages once you have spoken to any of the HDFC so called executive. You would receive calls in all odd hours. The executive would even tell you *Sir/Madam in case you are not in a position to receive your bank statement, please do not worry. We have link with the all banks, you would be charged 100 Rs. and in return we would directly take your bank statement from what ever bank your account is from.*


                                      Please note this is fraud association which only wastes our valuable time. Lets boy cot this association and help people from not facing any such tourchare which we have undergone from them.

                                        Please be aware of HDFC Bank Loan fraud.
                                        I had applied for Rs 100000/- personal loan from an Agent of HDFC Bank Hyderabad whose name was Venkat([protected]). He generally does his marketing through sms. Please avoid this person
                                        He told me that it would be processed within 3 days but it took 2-3 weeks to get processed and that too after following up with them almost every day.
                                        This guy convinced me to take the loan by saying that the interest rate would be 14.25% p.a. and when the loan process started he said it would be 15% p.a. and 1% processing fee and asked me to get on with the loan confirming that he would pay me the differential amount.This guy is a sheer cheater. Once the loan amount got disbursed he will not listen to the problems.Not only I had asked him not to include any insurance component to the loan and he confirmed me that it will not be included. But finally for Rs 100000/- the bank disbursed me Rs97714/- and when I asked explanation for the rest amount no one was giving a proper explanation.Apart from 1% processing fee I don't see any charges that should be debited from the account.

                                        The authority concerned should look into this matter as this fraud bank with its fraud agents are try to cheat needy people and taking advantage of their innocence.These people should be dragged to court and made to pay huge fines then only they will thing 100 times before cheating people.

                                        I had applied for personal loan of Rs 2.5 lac on 22nd Oct 2012 in HDFC

                                        bank. Same evening I got a call from sales representative(Preetam Singh

                                        Ranawat) and he offered me a processing fee of 1.5%. On 29th Oct 2012

                                        disbursed loan was deposited in my account. Deposited account was Rs

                                        2, 42.332.

                                        According to my calculation only Rs 4000 approx needs to be deducted.

                                        But they have deducted almost Rs 7500. I want to know why they have

                                        deducted Rs 3500 and for what reasons.

                                        Please look into this matter urgently.
