I m not able to pay minimum due amount due to my bad financial condition i am paying minimum due since 3-4 years but my out standing is not decreasing.



Sir this is my humble request to you that pls convert my all out standing in a personal loan

with emi for 24-36 Month so that i can pay the out standing in easy installments.


i have all ready requested to customer care many times but they are saying offer not available if you can not provide me some emi option,I unable to pay your outstanding amount. If you do not provide me any kind of solution i have only way left that i can stop sending minimum dues amount and ask for settlement which is not good for me as well. Nobody wants to be a defaulter but in current scenario i have only two options to pay emi for converted in loan or be a defaulter by doing settlement with the bank instead of paying minimum dues of my card as my financial condition is not good.

I am very old customer of HDFC bank and hope you will definitely provide me some way out so that i can easily pay my outstanding to being a good customer of the bank.

    I not yet receive F & Fand also I Still not received my RELIEVING LETTER as on 24 june 2012.

      I would like to file fraud case against HDFC BANK Ltd, Sector 14, Gurgaon.

      I opened S/B with HDFC Bank in May, 2008 and when their executive approached me for opening S/B account, he did not give me any information regarding DEMAT account linked to it. They are deducting Rs 850 annually as annual maintenance charges whereas I am never aware of that I have such account. I only got to know in Jun, 2012 when I say my mini statement where it was mentioned that Rs 850 has been deducted as depository charges. It's typical fraud case where executive did not educate customer with all the details.

      Its the worst customer service I have ever come across. I hold a Savings Account with HDFC Bank and want to open a demat account. I have called the Bank so many times and everytime the call agent says that we will get back to you, but in vain.

      Then I raised this request through website and after a month some female DSA called up which does not understand English. But somehow she promised that she will send someone but that too i think she is not letting that person leave her and meet Customers.

      HDFC Bank — more than a month for opening account

      On aug 11, I applied to hdfc bank to transfer my account from chennai to BTM, bangalore branch. after 3 weeks the application was sent back with silly reasons like the reason for transfer not sufficient. I came to know all the transfer requests are not processed by the bank.

      Later i applied for new account paying Rs.5600/- (i., e Rs.600 more ) on sept 4. I was promised that I will receive the savings kit by 1 week. It has been 3 weeks now there is response from these people

      When they cannot clarify a point, there is hectic consultation over phone and say we will call you back.The call never comes.When you go to their branch it is the same story.After a round of discussions every body will shake their head and say an agent will visit you with the necessary clarification. Try to get the name and location of a senior officer of the bank you will never get.Every time you go to the bank you see a new face and a hear new instruction, Total confusion all around.

      I had opened my Demat account in HDFC bank before three month but till now i haven't received my DEMAT Kit and Password, I had mailed almost five to six times, I had never seen such a bad service.

      HDFC — demat account

      I have been issued a dmat account at HDFC bank.I have made complaints to close that account as i already possess one.I was asked by an employee that my complaint has been taken care of and i will be sent a form for the closure of the Dmat account shortly.Its been 4 months that i have not received the form.Despite of my repetitive complaints my Dmat account is still open.Please help me to close this account.

      I am not satisfied with your Gujarat Ahmadabad, Naroda branch staff. At the time of opening demat a/c they has inform us not to pay any amount for the same. Now they have charged Rs.330.90 for the same. actually we are not suppose to open the demat a/c. but force fully opened and now they charge for the same.If this type of services you are providing to the customer then we are not interested to continue our S.B. A/C No.[protected], [protected], [protected] and Current A/C No.[protected], [protected] with your bank.
      I have had a bitter experience.The problem still remains. I have given a nomination form twice at the branch- and after 2 years they have still not given effect to that. when you send a mail we get a computer generated reply stating they will revert in 5 working days. Where as I am able to get the same information over phone from SHCIL.

      Dear sir,
      My name is Avikrit Dubey. My account number is [protected](savings a/c) and i even have a demat account whose account number is 33878861.
      My problem is that a when i had opened a demat account in hdfc bank a caller from the bank from mumbai branch calls me up from the number [protected], [protected] and [protected] consecutively to sell me a blink for online trading. On 11th october 2011 he deducted the amount of Rs 4555 from my account and told me that a hdfc staff would be coming to my place with the blink and would help me and show me how to use it. But still that hdfc staff is on the way from past 2 years. I request you to please take a severe action against this issue and help me to get the amount refunded.

      I have not received my DEMAT Kit and Password since last one year, from the day i created an account. And all of a sudden this month Rs. 850/- is deducted from demat account. I dont use demat account at all... how can you deduct the amount without even providing the prior reason??? This amount needs to be refunded.

      Its really discouraging to know that HDFC cheats there customer. For opening my bank account they came to my office and opened Demant account simultaneously without my knowledge and information (without Demant Kit). I m really feeling cheated.

      Now when I want to close it, they have only 2 or 3 branches in Delhi for the closer of Demant account. Do any one have that much of spare time to spend whole week behind closer of account for which they never requested even.

      I will never ever suggest anyone for HDFC Bank. I have my account in 2 other banks too, but never had this much bitter experience with them ever.

When i called Customer Care saying that please close the same as i was not intimated before opening the same..       I had a salary a.c opened with HDFC bank 3 yrs back by one of the Private co. HDFC is asking for dmat a.c depository dues which I am not aware of and I dont remenber any details on HDFC salary a.c as I am no more banking with HDFC. Total fraud to the customers.
      An amount of 850 has been deducted without notifying me. I got to know that my account is demat account about which I wasnt aware of. This is a ridiculous thing to do where they have forcibly opened demat accounts and now deductiong depository charges without even notifying. I want a quick resolution and these undue charges back.
      I don't want any DEMAT as well as TRADING ACCOUNT because it is opened up without my concern without any proper Documentation Procedure.. HDFC Bank is such a Reputed Bank But then also such a big mistake..
      rs 2000 deducted from my account before 4 days but they havent notified me through sms or email today i went withdraw some money that time i noticed 2000 rs deducted from my account... i called my bank branch manager he said they charged to activate demat account and he gave customercare number for tamilnadu [protected] to know clearly.. I tried calling to this number but demat customer care is alwz busy.. i dont know dont know for wat purpose they deducted amount from my account... i got another number from net and i called to that number he ws saying that it takes 2 days to say for wat purpose they took money. worst customercare service.. i didnt expect this from hdfc...

        I submitted a Suggestion/Feedback e-mail through your website w.r.t. AMB and AQB charges that were levied against my account without my intimation, on 18/06/2012.



        The e-mail that I received today (below) does not at all pertain to the e-mail I sent. It has absolutely no reference to what I had written on the 18th of June. I did not ask for a confirmation of account closure, as stated in he e-mail below. Moreover, no one by the name of Swapna Kakatkar contacted me on the 18th of June. I received a call today from HDFC asking me about my complaint. I do not know what's going on. I feel that I am being made to run around. I request you to refer to my original email/query again.



        In brief, I would like to tell you what happened. A total amount of Rs. 4,138.52 was deducted from my account in June 2012 towards AMB and AQB charges. When I approached the branch i.e. Mindspace, Malad; I was informed by Ankeeta Rathi (Branch Operations Manager) that the account was converted to a Savings account as there was no Salary credited into the account for some time; and hence the charges as the minimum balance to be maintained monthly is Rs. 10,000. I wasn't informed of this conversion.



        When I objected, Ankeeta told me that a letter was sent by HDFC to my residential address in 2009, informing me that the account was converted. I have not received any letter w.r.t. this. Moreover, when I told her that I would close the account if this is not sorted, she blatantly told me that I could go ahead and close the account. She also told me that it was not necessary for the bank to send me the letter as it is written in the Terms & Conditions booklet which I received at the time of opening the account, that after 3 months of salary not being credited into the account, the account automatically gets converted to a Savings account.



        I asked for an Account Closure form and submitted the request for closure as I was very unhappy with the experience that HDFC provided me. I have been a customer of the bank since 2005 and have kept this account because I liked the services offered by HDFC, although the account was non-operational.



        I received a letter dated 19/06/2012 with a Demand Draft of Rs.107.33 confirming that my account is closed. What has upset me is that there was no attempt made to retain me as a customer of HDFC. Is this how HDFC values and treats their customers?



        I would really like to highlight the customer service and leadership skills of Ankeeta Rathi. Being a Branch Operations Manager, she was not at all service-oriented. Her tone was curt, rude and unhelpful. She did not demonstrate Ownership or Willingness to help at all. Her body language also showed disinterest. She was not at all empathetic towards me or my situation and this really made me feel that she did not care. Is this the kind of example that the leaders of HDFC set for their employees and reportees? Is this how Ankeeta grooms the staff in the Mindspace, Malad branch? Is it OK for employees of HDFC to blame things on policy and procedure (Terms & Conditions) and shove things under the carpet?



        It has been very annoying and inconvenient for me as I had made provisions of the money in my account towards my EMIs and other committments. Now, I do not know what to do and this has caused grievances to my financial planning and budget.



        I request you to please look into this matter and reverse the charges levied through a Demand Draft or by some other means (since the account is closed). I have also submitted a complaint through your PhoneBanking officer. The complaint number is MUMC[protected].



        Moreover, I have also submitted a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman and hope that this issue will be resolved.



        Looking forward to a favorable response from you as I am very upset with this experience

        hdfc salary a/c — Charges applied without prior notice

        Dear Sir,

        I have a salary a/c i.e zero balance with HDFC. As I have left my previous job no salaries where credited in the said a/c. In the mean time bank without any notice or any communication had converted the salary a/c to savings a/c.As I was not aware of the same and my a/c balance was below the average minimum balance required for savings a/c,bank had deducted penalty/ charges of Rs.750 from my a/c.

        Please guide me,isn`t is the bank duty to inform or send some notice before directly deducting the charges. What should i do for getting back my money.

          I have applied for a HDFC Credit Card, i've received my Application refernce number, and also
          received verification calls at my office desk, verification got completed sucesfully, now the status of the credit card at the HDFC site is being shown as 'Disapproved' with remarks as ' PLEASE RESPOND TO LETTER SENT TO YOU FOR FURTHER PROCESSING OF HDFC BANK CREDITCARD QUOTING THE APPLICATION REFERENCE NUMBER'.

          I called up the customer care and they've told me that there's some problem with the residence address and landmark, but then, if my residence address is the problem then to which address did HDFC guys sent the letter to which i have to respond, i haven't received any letter from HDFC to residence address nor to my office address. I din't receive any email as well.

          The guy who was to perform Residence address verification came on a weekday and obviosuly the door was locked, but then, i should have atleast received a call from them saying such a thing happened and to set a convinient time/date to complete the address verification.
          How can they just disapprove without proper notification.

          I am very much disappointed with the way they carried out the whole thing.

          Kidnly, let me know, what is the next step that should be taken to get this thing moving.

          Even I faced the similar situation, My application was rejected 3 times a year.When i asked for a reason they said I'll be getting a letter, But since last year I haven't got anything .

          My office address is registered as my billing address .

          Now I'v decided to deactivate all my relations with hdfc.

          Please be aware if you receive any call from HDFC credit card please do not entertain them. All these are fraud calls wherein the person on the other side takes your personal and confidential details and circulates the same in the market. You would observe receiving promotional calls and messages once you have spoken to any of the HDFC so called executive. You would receive calls in all odd hours. The executive would even tell you *Sir/Madam in case you are not in a position to receive your bank statement, please do not worry. We have link with the all banks, you would be charged 100 Rs. and in return we would directly take your bank statement from what ever bank your account is from.*


          Please note this is fraud association which only wastes our valuable time. Lets boy cot this association and help people from not facing any such tourchare which we have undergone from them.

            Hi All
            Please be aware of HDFC Bank Loan fraud.
            I had applied for Rs 100000/- personal loan from an Agent of HDFC Bank Hyderabad whose name was Venkat([protected]). He generally does his marketing through sms. Please avoid this person
            He told me that it would be processed within 3 days but it took 2-3 weeks to get processed and that too after following up with them almost every day.
            This guy convinced me to take the loan by saying that the interest rate would be 14.25% p.a. and when the loan process started he said it would be 15% p.a. and 1% processing fee and asked me to get on with the loan confirming that he would pay me the differential amount.This guy is a sheer cheater. Once the loan amount got disbursed he will not listen to the problems.Not only I had asked him not to include any insurance component to the loan and he confirmed me that it will not be included. But finally for Rs 100000/- the bank disbursed me Rs97714/- and when I asked explanation for the rest amount no one was giving a proper explanation.Apart from 1% processing fee I don't see any charges that should be debited from the account.

            The authority concerned should look into this matter as this fraud bank with its fraud agents are try to cheat needy people and taking advantage of their innocence.These people should be dragged to court and made to pay huge fines then only they will thing 100 times before cheating people.

            Hi

            I had applied for personal loan of Rs 2.5 lac on 22nd Oct 2012 in HDFC

            bank. Same evening I got a call from sales representative(Preetam Singh

            Ranawat) and he offered me a processing fee of 1.5%. On 29th Oct 2012

            disbursed loan was deposited in my account. Deposited account was Rs

            2, 42.332.

            According to my calculation only Rs 4000 approx needs to be deducted.

            But they have deducted almost Rs 7500. I want to know why they have

            deducted Rs 3500 and for what reasons.

              I Sukhvinder Singh Gulati having operating my saving account vide bearing no.[protected] at karkardooma branch. I forget my debit card at karkardooma branch ATM on 30.07.2007. My card was misused by a culprate . I lodge my complaint at branch and customer care and also at Anand Vihar Police Station. The bank official were came to my office and query about the same. I also submit the Indemnity bond, Copy of NCR of Anand Vihar Police Station and statement. Therefore no person came to my house or gave me any status report about the perusal of the case. I have been send five reminders in four years and talk with your executives at customer care helpline but every time executive of your bank said that please query about this matter from your home branch. Therefore some another problem raise in my account that some charges levy in my account in the terms of BRD for Rs.112.36/- in 17-18 times .That is so strange because I had deposited the amount by myself at my home branch but the BRD charges is related to third party transaction and other branch deposition. I also request to Mr. Abhishek at karkardooma branch but till date he gives me assurance that earlier your charges has been reversed. I am suffering the mental agony, loss of funds and loss of my goodwill because from your illegal act one time my Car Loan EMI ECS was bounced and they charged the bouncing charges and one another time my electricity bill cheque was bounced. So, you are requested to take immediately action and necessary step within short period and revert about the same.

                Hi All,

                I have been using a HDFC Bank Credit Card from past 6-7 Years. Initially I had an Gold Card and after years o[censored]sing, repayment of bills on time and many cards upgarde, I had been offered PLATINUM EDGE card few months back by the bank. This was an upsell by the bank.

                At the time of offer given, I had asked the CSR for the charges of this card, but he said there are no annual charges for this card.

                To my surprise when I received the mothly bill for June'12, there was Annual membership fee of Rs.2K levied in my account.

                This is an example of absolute fraud by such a brand and reward for a loyal customer who trusted in the brand and eventually promoted people to at least for once have an product from HDFC and experience the quality of services.

                Anyways I have logged a ticket for the same. Ticket number is [protected] and while logging this ticket also the CSR told me that my card would be degraded from the new card to the old one.

                Clearly Bank is playing with the EGO and the emotions of the customers so that either they give up the upgraded card or go ahead and make the payments.

                Request you to waive off this amount at the earliest possible and do whatever you want with my account but please keep me posted on the progress.

                  I had to transfer money from my HDFC account to another account however couldn't because my HDFC account has an old mobile number. HDFC doesn't allow its customers to change/update the number through the website, the customer has to visit the nearest branch to raise a request which would take atleast 5 business days (as communicated by the customer service rep). I had to make an urgent payment however didn't get any help even though I answered all the questions of the rep to clear security on the account. Such a poor service/policy of the bank.

                    It is submitted that after two months, on the on 6th June, 2012, I received an Email from HDFC Ltd. informing me that the interest rate for your loan at present is 11.5% effective from 01-Apr-12. The repayment tenure of your loan has stretched beyond the normal term of a loan. WE REQUEST YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION IN THIS REGARD. One of the following actions from your side is recommended: Alter the EMI from Rs 8587/- to Rs 10,031/- OR Consider a part prepayment of the principal of Rs 1,27,000/- for 190 _ months ,keeping the EMI amount same OR Combination of options 1 & 2 depending upon your convenience.

                    Regarding this I posted a query on HDFC Web portal, but I did not received any communication in this regards.

                    Now, I request to the concerned authority, please see in to the case, and respond my query “Why HDFC Ltd. is charging high interest rate @11.5% in place of 10.50 effective from 01-Apr-2012 and informing me in June 2012?”

                    HDFC — High Interest Rate

                    HDFC is charging very high home loan interest rate from old customer. When Interest rates are increased, then its reflecting immediately but when decreaded then its only majoring benified to new customer.

                    New customer are getting approx 2% lesss interest rate than old customer. Why such big difference is here?

                      My cousin (who stays in the U.S.) sent me a link via email to a site that sells some weight reduction drops. I made this huge stupid foolish mistake clicking that link and buying a monthly weight loss program of 45 days online on that site. I made the transaction on Sunday afternoon in India. The only good thing I did was to write to my cousin asking her if she had tried this product. I heard from her next morning (Monday) saying she never sent any such email. Her account was hacked and these emails were sent to her entire contact list.

                      I immediately called the bank (credit card division) and reported this incident. What follows is incredible!!! They said that since my account was debited they cannot charge my card back. Well, till then it was fine with me as I presumed that the transaction has fully gone through. Then something struck me and I asked this bank lady on the other side, if the vendor had already received the credit/money, to which, she said no. She said that only my account had been debited yet but the vendor's account was not credited yet.

                      You won’t believe I spoke with at least 3 managers after putting a mammoth of effort and wasting at least 30 minutes of talk time on 'call waiting' and 'convincing' them not to go ahead with the credit as the vendor is a fraud. But they would not listen. They said they have to go ahead with the credit per the 'process'.

                      They said I could download a credit card dispute form on their site and lodge an application and they will inform the status of my application in 4 days. I told them that by that time, the fraudulent vendor will get his money and both the Bank and I would be chasing him. However, they didn't seem to bother about that.

                      Now I am wondering that I at least did what I did in unawareness but what the HDFC guys were doing was in their full awareness. I told them beforehand, not to go ahead with the credit but they said they have to credit the fraudulent vendor's account as it is a part of their process.

                      Wondering why one needs to pass banking exams to get into a bank. Worse, why do banks hire MBAs? Maybe they feel that if an MBA gives a customer crap on the other side of the phone, it may look less crappish...

                          This is in regards to the HDFC Bank Personal Loan where they are not ready to close the the personal loan when I am ready to pay the foreclosure fees even, this is really a cheating and consumer forum should take a action against them or they will cheat all Indians as they are doing right now.

                          I have already paid the amount from last 6 months and requesting them to close it, while taking they said you can repay it after 6 months and now they have changed the rule without informing to RBI and government is still sleeping.

                          Please take action or tell US the way to put them behind the bars.

                            i have registered for a hdfc personal loan on 4th june 2012.

                            on 5th june itself, hdfc person came and collected the required documents.

                            after that i have called them daily asking the status of my loan.
                            Daily they used to reply the same answer. " Its in progress. will tell you soon".

                            After 12 days, on 16th evening 4 pm , i got a call from hdfc. asking me to submit another copy of the passbook which i have.
                            They also told that, if i submit it before 5 pm, i'll be getting the amount by next day. ( 17th) else it will take another 1 week to process.

                            I really dont understand what these people are doing in office?.........simply sitting and processing very slowly.

                            They dont understand customer's urgency to get a loan.

                            Same thing happened with me, I applied for an education loan with HDFC bank in July. They don't inform or respond to my calls and whenever I hear from them all I get is the routine answer of 'it's under process'. After persistently calling them they pick up the phone and tell me to call me after an hour because they're going to check. when you call after an hour they either don't pick up or tell you the same thing 'it's under process', 'it'll be cleared by tomorrow.
                            After 11 days of all this they told me everything will be cleared by Tuesday and I'll get the DD by Wednesday. It's Saturday now and my college has already opened and till today I have no idea if I'll get the DD next week or not. Because time was running out so I asked another person's contact number from the loan department. I was asked to contact Mr. Vishal Rajput (91-[protected]) who was the TL there, after calling him 4-6 times during the day he finally picked up. He informed that it's under process, I asked him why his team member was saying it's going to be cleared by Wednesday? he started shouting over the phone that he isn't the one who said I will get the DD by Wednesday and he is not liable what his team members say to me and then he started to scream and shout over the phone that I'm disturbing him and never to call on him again. He thinks he's not answerable to anyone and he has the right to mislead as well as shout at customers if they ask for the status of the loan process.
                            After everything said and done now I get to hear another tag line of 'it'll be cleared by tomorrow'. I have to answer my college that why I can't report to them on time because I myself don't know what's going or am I eligible for the loan or not or all the documents are correct or not. Because of their routinely answer of 'it'll be cleared by tomorrow' I have to ask college for some time. I've already rescheduled my reporting time with them 4 times already and now they ask me if I'm ever going to report since classes have already started. If I don't report next week I'll lose 35, 000 - which is the admission fee- and one year of my education.

                            Because of the slow processing and this misleading tag line of 'tomorrow it'll be cleared' I might lose my candidature with the college for not reporting on time and lose one year of my education. Thanks to the HDFC and their loan staff who never understands the urgency of the customer.

                              My concern is that if I have credit card wid your bank n I have sum emergency then certainly I will use your card.N if its a paying account,how come you guyscan call my parents and harass them.These guys are calling from[protected],[protected] and so on numbers..N if its wid debt collection company then the employee over dere know how to talk to consumer.they should try to understand customer situation.

                              i have dues with my account.before two year i went your star bazar office at ahmedabad due to dispute in amount.Collection people behaved very badly.so account became over due.prviously my record was good.since few days your dehli executive following the matter and pressurising for immidiate satelment.I am ready to satale.but not agreed with amount offerd and payment instalment offered.Since last two days he has started to treatened to my wife.I clearly told that i am ready to sataled but not this way.

                              HDFC Bank Credit Card — harrasing phone calls despite of total repayment of what ur company demanded

                              i dr vivek gupta had a hdfsbank gold card no.[protected].i had a loan settlement deal with ur bank peopleand i gave PDC acc. to schedule on the spot.all the payment was made on time and all my cheques cleared as per schedule exept one, where instead of jan09 year was written as jan 08 by mistake . when i came to kow the matter i made the remaining payment on very first call ...and total payment was completed.BUT phone calls started harrassing me all the time made me tensed, that i have to pay nearly RS. 5000 becos of panelty charges.when i was giving PDC to ur officer was he sleeping or what .how can u make me totallyressponsible for that, and that too i have rectified .but...ur phone callers misbaved, harresed, wasted my time wasted my patients time, used abusive language.distressed with all this and on assurance of one o[censored]r officer Mr.premji, that this is my NOCno., this is my REFUND NO. i payed RS.1930 more over and above acc. to repayment scedule.BUT... AGAIN same type of phone calls started asking for more payment .i think mein saari jindgi mein bhi aapke bank ka karz nahin utar sakta.NOW i have kept all details of credit card a/c, i have all details of repayment, and going for a legal refrance., before this i wanted to put forward this whole matter in front of banks higher officers . kindly look into it and repay my refund with COMPENSATION .

                              I have a HDFC Credit Card. In some months when I don't receive my salary on time, I am not able to make the Credit Card payment on time. But I always make it the next month. I have also stopped using this card.
                              Any month when I don't make the payment, the collection agency calls up ad start harassing me. Even if I tell them that I will make the payment next week, they will keep calling every few minutes.
                              Last week, when I was not at home and my daughter picked up the phone when they called, they started telling her that we know you are lying and that your mother is not making payment, etc. Why should they harass my daughter?

                              Today the same guy called and started taunting me saying "Why are you working if you don't have any money? If you don't have money, come to me and I will give you some idea as to how to make money.", etc. I am really amazed that this is the way a reputed bank talks to its customers. There seems to be no difference between banks and personal money-lenders.

                              When I spoke to some friends, they say that this is HDFC's known method. There have been many instances when HDFC collection agencies have called and intimidated parents and other family members in the house.
                              Reserve Bank of India has laid down rules and regulations for the banks and other financial institutions on the code of conduct of recovery process. If any of the financial institutions or their representatives harass, threaten or intimidate you in any way, we definitely can stop it by taking appropriate legal action on your behalf against such actions. This is inclusive of filing criminal complaints against those who try to harass, threaten or intimidate you as well.

                              Hi! Advice you to contact the branch heads . Customer Care manager in writing.

                              You can further approach the Nodal Officers / Appetite Authorities of the Bank for their support and guidance, they have proved to be always helpful in such matters.

                              If this does not works, contact the nearest police station to file a complaint against harassment with the copy of the letter marked to the Customer Care Manager.

                              The legal authorities can take care of such a nuisance properly.

                              My name is Sirisha, my husband is holding HDFC credit card, we were happy with the services and while purchase car we swiped the card for nearly 75000. Immediately we called customer service and informed them to convert it into EMI so that it would be easy for us to pay off and thought will try to close it as soon as possible. We swiped the card in JULY'12 and informed them before bill generation date but they took TWO months of time to convert it into EMI. We received call in SEPT'12 that our outstanding is 105000 . We called customer service regarding additional charges which are laid on us. We came to know that it is the interest amount, we explain them that we already informed in JULY to convert it into EMI but they did not do and came up with interest on our transaction which is not our headache. Somehow we paid nearly Rs 30000. We were unable to make payment from last 3months as my husband moved out of the job seeking new job and due to additional financial commitments. We got a call from collection agency regarding the payment. We informed them that we are in a process of going for settlement, we were informed by agent that our outstanding is 140000 and agent tells us that we have to pay at least 1, 00000 for settlement and demanded us to pay at least 30, 000 so that it will get reduce while settling the amount with bank . I seriously don't understand what these people are trying to do, we swiped for nearly 80000 and now they say that our actual outstanding is 140000. Everyday we are receiving 8-10 call regarding the payment, asking us to pay right away. We don't want to deceive anyone, we are genuine in our intentions and we want to settle it once we receive money which we are expecting in JUNE. Though repeatedly informing them they are calling frequently with threatening statements. These calls are harassing us mentally, i am loosing my mental peace because of these call. Please ADVICE us.

                                He is threatening me with regular calls and talking abusing language and calling my office staff and talking un reasonable things about me.

                                At the moment I am working in China. Hope some one can help me with this.

                                        I am privilege customer of HDFC Bank since 2004. On that basis they opened my HDFC securities account without any charges in 2009 & I was told it would be no annual charge lifetime free account. I haven't used that account for any transaction. But in Feb 2012, Rs. 500/- were deducted from my account for annual charges. And when i went HDFC Bank, CMH Road, indira Nagar, Bangalore. They refused to close my account on the basis of ID proof. Despite the fact that i had DL. But as per him it wasn't authenticated.

                                        They agreed on sending a person for collecting another ID proof. But nobody came.

                                        First i was robbed with money & i dont know, how many times i have to visit the branch for closure of account. I want my money to be refunded as i have never used that account.

                                        HDFC Securities — Mandatory personal information

                                        I have a demat trading account with HDFC sercurities. In the online trading account, after logging on, the site asks to confirm contact details and PAN details etc. But also it required information about income-range as a mandatory option. I called up the helpline number to find why was that a mandatory field. I was told by the bank that it is required as per RBI rules.
                                        I am sure that RBI would not ask banks for these details, it is the bank who would be using the information to discriminate its customers, which I feel is totally wrong. I would like to get an authorized information regarding this, so please let me know whom should I contact with this regards?
                                        Dear all,

                                        Please share this information as much as possible having the problem with demat account with HDFC bank.

                                        1. Choose the right demat branch of particular city where Client Modification requests is processed using this link (see more details of branch) http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/find-your-nearest/find-demat-branch?ifn=no&...

                                        2. Submit the Application for Closing HDFC Securities Trading Account form to that branch. I am not sure this form is available on net but you can find in the link http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/form_centers/form_centers or you may ask for same to [protected]@hdfcbank.com . More important to attached photocopy of pan card, voter card or any other accepted photo ID card and original should be produced at the time of form submission.

                                        3. Wait for 3 day or week until de linking of trading account. If branch refuse to take form then fight for to accept and sent to respective branch.

                                        4. Again visit the branch and submit the NSDL Closure form Beneficiary Account available on http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/form_centers/form_centers or download as http://www.hdfcbank.com/assets/pdf/NSDL-Closure-Form.pdf

                                        5. Wait for 3 day or week and bank will refund based on policy.

                                        I have received the refund amount but it is less. The process is on going for the same.
