i have also complained 3 times about this in your ludhiana office
but what the hell your vendor is doing
what is the use of giving advance money

Hindustan Times — NOT RESPONDING TO CUSTOMER

I had bought a two year supcription from HT on 12/02/2008 i received paper from the HT for one year as they mailed me the coupens( 12/02/2008 - 12/02/2009) for that i am fine.But by december i called there customer care and informed my change of address.The customer care told that the coupens for next year has been dispatched on jan 14th to the local ghatkopar office and now if i call them they are telling me that it has been handed over to the local vendor.So no proper response from the regional manager-Komal Singh Powar till now.

Please refer the mail dated 8.2.2007 of Mr. Deep
Gupta, one of your customers, who opted for 2 year subscription after a
successful completion of 1 year subscription. For that reason, he gave a
check of Rs.195 (Cheque no. 141479, State Bank of India, Dt. 18/11/07, in
the favour of HT Media Ltd.)to one of your service representatives who
came to his place to collect the respective cheque.

Later, he also got a call from you, confirming his payment and he was told
that he will receive a courier, consisting of 24 coupons for 24 months.

Now after almost 2 months of the said transaction, he has not received any
courier from your side, and the paperwaala has stopped giving him the
newspaper.

So, for the past 1 month, he is not receiving the newspaper, even after
paying the money for 2 years.

Please look into the matter and do the needful.

Mr. Deep Gupta is my son, and he informed me the above mentioned
incidence, it is surprising to know that the company like you is given
such kind of treatment, which not only amount a failure but also comes
under guile treatment, which please note. Since considerable period is
already lapsed, and you fail to issue coupon, in turn my son also failed to
get the news paper, you please return the amount paid to you with
necessary penalty.

I am a subscriber of Hindustan Times. I had sent a check of Rs. 195(No.659632) for 2 years subscription of Hindustan Times in 26 Jan 2008 Form No.280430. 1st year paper delivery was regular. But for second year, not a single paper delivered to me yet. However inspite of repeated inquiries i did not receive any update on the coupons.
Before couple of months The Hindustan Times Executive namely Mr.Bhalerao(Dombivli) told me, that the coupons were sent to respective Paper Vendor(Mr.Bhagwat) Directly. Still my paper delivery not yet been started till today. I have inquired many times by calling both the HT Executive & Paper Vendor, but still haven't received any reply.
The phone Support is the worst thing to be imagined. Kindly help in this issue.

Dear Sir,
I had subscribed for One year subscription of Hindustan times newspaper against their scheme. My subscription form no : 672767 dated 17.01.2010 through HT executive Mr. Ajay Kumar .
My cheque had been clear on dated 06/02/2010 from my bank account.

but till date I have not receive my one year subscription coupons.I have followed up with HT call center for several times but could not get any proper response other than a new copmplaint number & assurance that my complaint will be handled in next two weeks.

I was also not allowed to talk to any other senior person of HT telling the reason that call certer executivs are not authorized to discose any senior person's name to consumers. Somehow after a a lot of conversatins, I could get the refernce of two local area managers/officers from the call center thro whom I could talk to Mr. Lokesh Verma ([protected]). Even two two officers kept me hanging for a long time & kept me busy in switching the discussion between teses two without any clear committment.
Two weeks before, I was told by then that my coupons in their hands but yet not received by me for some unknown reason.
Pls note the newspaper vendor has already discontinued paper to me since last one month & has reimbursed the cost for earlier papers dropped at myhouse for which I could not give him the HT coupons.

I have spent a lot of money in talking to HT call centers & officers for a long time (probably it would be more than the benefit of this subscription) & also I am disturbed mentally by not getting any response from HT office added by bad words of my newspaper vendor for not giving monthly payment/coupon in time.

I have only hope to get some justice by giving this complaint to you, with the reimbursement for all my mental/financial harassment by HT office.

Hindustan Times Newspaper — Not received coupons

Hi,

I had applied for subscription of Hindustan Times newspaper 2 years subcription on 21st April this year. They had earlier told me that I will receive the coupons within 21 days of subscription. But it has been more than 2 months that I have not received even a phone call from them. When I called their customer service they say they have despacted the coupons and it has returned back and since then whenever I call them they say they will send me the coupons in 3-4 days. And now their phone numbers are also not working. Therefore I do not have any point of contact from their side.

I do not know how much will you be able to help me since I am posting my comment on this site, but fellows who are reading this post, I would like to giive you Moral of the Day.....


DO NOT EVER BUY ANY PRODUCT OF HINDUSTAN TIMES.

I am a resident of flat No K-45 Ridgewood estate, Phase 4 DLF, Near Galleria Market, Gurgaon staying there from the last 8 months. I took the decision to stay in Ridgewood Estate just because of Security. Security was my only concern. I am very unhappy with the DLF as my Bike got stolen on 1st of June 2010 from the parking area no K-18 below the building inside the campus at 3 PM where around 200 guards take care of security. No action has been taken by Police and DLF Security as the FIR was lodged on the same day itself, FIR no 212 in Sector 29 Thana, Gurgaon. I called several numbers of times to DLF Security but no one gave response and disconnected the call. I waited for the police to come till now and now it’s the time to make aware people about the DLF societies is no more a safe place to live. I would request you to please forward my request to the concerned people to necessary action to take place. You can contact me at [protected]@gmail.com .

Also, I requested the president and Vice president of the society to take care of the issue. They just sympathized once and nothing has been action so far .

I have also requested people through other means to take care of their transport means and house equipments themselves as there is no more safety in DLF societies and flats.

It’s been 25 days now. I am without the transport. I am aware how much it is difficult to live without transport.

Hindustan Times Newspaper — subscription paid but not receiving newspaper since 1 month or more

Dear Sir,

With regard to the above,

Detail Description:I had called for renewal of newspaper in July end and Mr Bhaskar Marketing agent came and took the chq
and told the newspaper will be supplied as soon as u get coupons. So i got my coupons almost a month ego and nobody is come
forward to take the issue resolve for not supplying the newspaper at home at right time and i have contacted Mr Bhattchargy and other
for the same nobody is properly responed, the chque is alredy been encashed on 9th sept 2001.

Hence, please view this issue serisoly and reply me in this regard.

I have already registered compalint against this in consuer form.

I hope u will come back to me with some solution

Hindustan Times — coupon not received for last 6 month

Coupon not received for 1st month but received for 2nd year
I have received the news paper coupan for 1st year but not yet received the coupan for last 3month
Vendor is irate and is saying that will not provide the news paper

I have subscribed to HT for the 3rd year by giving a cheque of Rs.599 (ICICI Bank cheque no. 52782 dt. 01.06.13) & already debited on 12.06.13.

Though my Vendor has re-started giving me the HT newspaper from 05.06.13, he is threatening to stop the Paper & charge me for the days he has given me unless I arrange to give him the monthly coupons against Implementation Card (IC) no. 10199586 given me by your representative while collecting the cheque.

You MUST send your representative to my residence to hand over the COUPONS, without which my Vendor's Agency is refusing to give the Newspaper.

The new procedure of myself giving the IC to my Vendor and the Vendor giving the IC to your local HT representative, who in turn arranges for the Coupon to the Vendor to be finally handed over to the sourcing agency is NOT working -- because your local HT representative is unable to arrange for the monthly coupons of other consumers since last 6 months.
This inefficiency of your local (Malad-West, BATA, S.V.Rd, near Malad sub-way) HT representative is putting the Vendor in great inconvenience & they have to shell out cash from their own pocket to pay the agency for Newspapers supplied till date in absence of monthly coupons.
So, he is refusing to accept the any IC from Costumers any further and asks for monthly coupons instead.
The sourcing agency also wants monthly coupons NOT the IC.

In spite of my repeated complaints you have NOT cared to address the isuue.
So from today I have stopped taking HT newsaper, along with 2 of my colleagues & a relative / neighbour and re-started Times of India.
Based on the IC given me (against my cheque of Rs.599), I instructed my local Vendor, Natraj News Paper Agency, 18/B/0 Natraj Market, Malad(W) to re-start HT from 6th June 2013.
But till date he could not obtain the Monthly coupons even after repeated coordination with your Malad HT Supervisor Mr. Prakash ([protected]).
My local Vendor sources the HT newspapers from Dangot Newspaper agency, Dangot Sadan Bldg., Borabazar, Fort who refuses to give him HT without the monthly coupons.

Since the sourcing agency Dangot accepts only Coupons & your Malad HT Supervisor is not able to give any Coupons to my local Vendor Natraj, the local Vendor has returned me the IC and demanded cash payment for the period 6th June to 16th July and I had to pay up yesterday -- and so stopped taking Hindustan Times from today and re-started Times of India from today itself.

Since you have already encashed my cheque, you don't seem to be interested to send your representative to my residence to resolve the issue -- and as such my Rs. 599 is deemed to be lost in fraud by HT authorities.

In case we do not get any positive response from you (meaning your representative should meet me forthwith) within a week, we shall be forced file a case of fraud by Hindustan Times with the Consumer Court with letters to the editor all leading newspapers in Mumbai.
