[Resolved]  Hll PureIT Water Filter — Poor Service of HLL Pureit Battery Kit

I registered a call on 10.03.2008 to HLL Pureit Call Centre [protected] for replacement of Battery Kit. Till 20.03.2008 I have not received the Battery Kit. I called up again to the Call Centre and asked for the reason. They gave a reply which is shocking, they have not registered a complaint which i have given on 10.03.2008 and they told that it would be delievered in another three days. The Call Centre Executive added that i can escalate this issue to any of the higher officers. They are refusing that they have not received a call on 10.03.2008.

Worst Service of the HLL Pureit Water Filter after Sales.

While selling the product, they run behind the customer, later for service, customer has to run/spend/waste time for complaints as they wont give a proper service.

I had requested for Germ Kill Battery on 7 July 10 for which order detail is S10/DLI[protected]. But still i have not received the GKB. For the same i filed the complaint on 12 Jul 10 complaint numer is C[protected]. But there is no response .
Again i placed a complaint on 15 July 10 . but still no response .
This kind of service is not expected from Unilever group . I hope now company will take a action . please decide that what should be the panelty . As you are promoting very proudly Pure It and giving Rs. 1 crore safety challenge . there should be some challenge for service also .

HLL — THERE IS NO GERM KILLER,COP IN THE BATTERY KIT

I BOUGHT A PURE KIT,WEN I OPENED THAT AT HOME THERE WAS NO GERMKILLER,CCP,IN DAT,WEN I WENT AND ASKED THE RISHAB DISTRIBUTORS OF PUREIT,LOCATED IN #24,VENKATESWARA LAYOUT,RMV 2ND STAGE,BEL ROAD,BANGLORE,THEY SAID WE'L GET DAT TO U SOON,BUT WEN I WENT TODAY THEY ARE SAYING WE ONLY MISSED,I WANT TO COMPLAIN THAT DEALERS ARE MISSIN THE CONTENTS IN DAT KIT,AND THEY ARE BLAMING THE CUSTOMERS PLS ,SOLVE MY PROBLEM THE COST OF BATTERY KIT IS 400/- AND ODD
We booked a call in May'10 for two battery kits. Till date they have not been supplied. Calls to local supplier or company registered number did not help. Invariably the answer was "Your call has been registered and you would receive the complaint no. in your mobile before tomorrow evening. The battery kits also would be supplied before tomorrow evening". Till today there is no response. We are fed up.

The product they sell is not a TV or a tape recorder;which if I do not listen or see for one or two months, nothing big difference it makes. This is a basic product for health and hygiene which I miss most in my day to day life. If they cannot support with spares for a hygiene product, why should they come to market to sell?

We came to know that they want to promote their compact battery kits rather than bigger battery kits. So as a marketing strategy, if a particular spare is not delivered to a consumer, he can be cajoled to use another spare; which they could have manufactured more. Is this a bad planning of production or looking for more margin in another spare?

Why should a consumer be made to suffer?

Complint no : 7004626 dt 14feb07 for replacement of the top first level filter which is costing rs 40.

Calls made to call centre and the service centre - more than 15 times...so cost approx. 1.50 per call the cost comes to rs 22.50 and the cost of the spare is rs 40.

I dont understand...you people BEG for the people to buy your product...but when it comes to serivce you are not bothered...Is this your company policy ?

This time i logged a call to replace the batt. + first level filter cup & TAP...nobody turned up so far.


More than 3 times called and the executive says "Very Very sorry for the inconvienence" and "the call will be attended within 24 hrs time" it is more tha four 24hrs has gone. Please traine your executive to say something new...rather than fooling around the customer like us who are geniun in appreciating a product.

YOUR ADVERTISEMENT ON THE COMMERCIALS ARE CHALLENGING FOR THE SAFETY TEST..FOR CRORES OF RUPEES.

CAN YOU CHALLENGE FOR THE SERVICE...100 % ...200 % i CHALLENGE YOUR COMPANY IS THE WORST I CAN PROVE...

Please take back your pureit filter, , i will return it free of cost...no use keeping as ordinary filter...

when i complained to mr. muthu on 14 august 2010to check the leaking problem, he told me he will come on 15th august but when i called him on the next day he is cutting my phone and he did not bother to receive my calls nor call back again
what a cheap behavior from these people and especially from mr muthu who is full of attitude and ego
more over he has a rude way to talk to customers and he is telling me to check the problem
but its really sad to say that as customers we cannot do anything except wasting our money and up these nonsenses because nobody will hear our complaints

I introduce myself as one of the unfortunate buyers of PURE It.
I lodged a complaint for the replacement of battery ( Cell nos [protected] and [protected]) a week ago and also spoke to your customer service centre on the same day. I would have made half a dozen calls after that, and the standard reply is that this will be delivered in a days time. To my surprise when i called them yesterday, they told me that they are yet to register my complaint and they asked me the serial no of the equipment to enable them to register.
It is highly ridiculous to know that, one has to make half a dozen calls and has to wait for a week to have your complaint registered. You people promise moon at the time of selling and the customers are made to run from pillar to post when we come to you for service. This is not the first occasion and this has become a regular affair. My contact no is [protected]. If you really care for the customers, i hope there should be an immediate action taken.
I bought one 18 liters capacity pure it machine a month back cost Rs 3200.From date of installation i am facing issues.The water from the top chamber is not flowing as expected resulting in needs to clean the carbon ball once in everyday which is not all expected and i am not able to do that everyday otherwise water will remain in the same top chamber.
If i clean that also water flow is very slow to the bottom collection chamber for that day.next day again it requires cleaning.
Pureit sevrice person comes to my house and do the samething what i am doing after making several calls.Even then the issue remains.
why it is like that?This makes me frustrated and lost the trust on your product.
I feel the carbon ball is having some issues.Please clarify me to solve this routine issue.

Humne apne pureit ki battery[protected] ko replace karwayi thi or[protected] ko iski cct dobara change karwani padi lekin changing ke time par worker ek spare part dalna bhool gya jiski wjha se pani leak hone lga.Humne[protected] ko vivek vihar ke distributer ko again cal ki lekin abhi tak koi response nhi aya hai hum daily cal krte hai.Bill dete waqt jitne bhi no. diye gye including customer no.[protected] humara kisi bhi no. par contact nhi ho pa ra hai. please contact us at [protected].

I believe when they want to sell a product they do not see who is the customer and which area they live in, and the sales agents are behind you, but when you request for a service their lay back attitude comes into picture they want to know where the customer lives and they decide if they have to provide them service or not, Just to add, I had requested for a service i.e., to replace a battery kit and for the next two years from the time of my request I had kept on requesting for a battery kit, I wish I had the Complaint request number at this hour, however if Hindustan Pureit customer care stores their record and if they can pull up customer complaints using the phone number here is the phone number that was provided at the time of registering the complaint [protected] ( The Irony is that every time you call the customer care, they keep confirming your address to send no one)

your machanic attend our office and change the part in purit thanks to indian consumer comlaints and purit water company.

HLL — Untrainted support staff

Support and service staff is untrained and they don’t know how to change the kit. Leak of knowledge cause serious impact and my 5 yrs daughter got hospitalized due to intake o[censored]nfiltered (bacterial) water. Service guy don’t know how to fit the kit and due to improper fitting water was not filtered and unfortunately we don’t that are taking impure water.
Very very poor service & defective at machine, purchase Mar13, a Marvella Pureit RO, AMC is continue, several complain lounged, again purchase a Iron removal Guard Rs.1400.00, within 2 hours red light biffing, after 2 days it had not working & water is not dropping from machine. Now They are saying Filter will purchase @1625.00+.
As a middle class family it will not provide us.
Without drinking water it is running.
Already mail & complains lunged.
