Dear Sir,

I have a grievance against M/S Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd. unjust settlement of Insurance claim against accidental repairs of Honda city car DL 3C AK 7116 insured under Honda Assure Policy No. HBA/00039444 and claim No OC[protected]-00002291 dated 26/01/2012 .The settlement was carried out by them as reimbursed by them for accidental repairs carried out at M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd ,Jabalpur, MP( Authorised Honda repairs workshop) and request you to kindly look into it and take suitable action.

To take delivery of the vehicle, I was forced to pay Rs 1,16,532.00 against an accidental repairs bill of Rs. 1,27,723.00 only issued by M/s Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd., the insurer has thus paid a meagrely amount of only Rs 11,191.00 against the accidental claim of Rs. 1,27,723.00 .

I am not only aggrieved by the unjust settlement by the Insurance Company, but also by the attitude of representatives of the Insurance Company at various levels due to their delaying tactics & callous attitude.

What shocked and aggrieved me further was the attitude of the Mr. Pathak, manager at M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd, Jabalpur, who refused to provide us with the copy or Insurance settlement stating that he does not have the copy of the same but forced us to pay the bill balance amount as per so called calculation by the Surveyor: Ravi Kant Mahajan of Jabalpur, MP

When we requested for the copy of the report from the appraiser, we were directed to contact. Mr. Krishna at Bajaj Allianz Bhopal. Mr. Krishna when contacted required us to SMS our email address on his mobile. We complied with it. However, receiving no response we again contacted Mr. Krishna. He now directed us to write to Head Quarters of the Insurance Company.

We lodged a complaint with Mr. [protected]@hondacarindia.co.in on Mar 29, 2012 as suggested by the lady handling insurance at M/s. Pearl Honda, Noida (Where I was normally getting my car services). The same was however not delivered.

Finding no way to reach the concerned people, a copy of the complaint was sent by speed post and registered letter to M/s. Bajaj Allianz, Pune on 7 Apr 12. No reply to same has been received till date.

I would, therefore, request for relook into the case & just settlement also. I will be forced to resort to other means at your cost if the case in not settled in a just way at the earliest.

The case is under

On 26th Jan I was travelling with my husband (who was driving the car DL 3C AK 7116) from New Delhi to Jabalpur. This car was thoroughly checked by M/S Honda NOIDA for health before the journey. We were travelling on Bhopal – Jabalpur state highway. It was pitch dark and raining. The road was fully covered with water. About 75 KMs from Jabalpur, around 1830 hrs while crossing one of the bridges the underbelly of my car hit the road very badly (as the pit on the road was not visible). The car came to halt immediately and would not start. My husband waved for passer-by to stop. Fortunately, they stopped. The car was pushed to the roadside with the help of passers-by and left locked for the night. We moved to Jabalpur with the help of passers-by. On 27th Jan informed the Insurance Company and M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd, Jabalpur, MP (Authorised Honda repairs workshop at Jabalpur). We were asked to get the vehicle brought to Jabalpur. We therefore made arrangements for physical towing of the vehicle and brought it to the Splendid Honda workshop at Jabalpur on 27th night. 28th Jan. being holiday, the surveyor (as arranged by Bajaj Allianz) arrived on 29th and surveyed the vehicle. He observed a leakage from the engine oil sump and hardness of the engine movement. He took the photographs as required. He further observed availability of still some oil in the sump, proper condition of the pump and NO deposit in the oil. His observation was that engine was not seized. He got the chamber changed with the new one. On next day and after filling oil the car was started. There was unnatural, unacceptable noise from the car. The same was informed to both M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd, Jabalpur, MP (Authorised Honda repairs workshop & the surveyor. The engine was opened by M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd, Jabalpur, MP (Authorised Honda repairs workshop to indentify the damaged parts. We had to wait for more than 20 days for the parts to arrive. The vehicle was finally made over to us on 23.02.2012 with a total bill of Rs. 1, 27,723.00 only vide Invoice No. 1101643 dated 20 Feb 2012. We were informed that being Honda Assure policy passed claim amount will be paid by the Insurance Company directly to M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd ,Jabalpur, MP & we should pay the balance (Rs. 1,16,532.00 only vide receipt No. R/11001604 dated 20 Feb 2012) as calculated by them the surveyor and M/s Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd, Jabalpur, MP (Authorised Honda repairs workshop). We paid the required amount for taking the delivery of the vehicle. Though we had requested for a copy of the report from both surveyor & Splendid Honda, the same was not provided to us. The manager at M/S Splendid Motors Pvt Ltd., Jabalpur, MP (Authorised Honda repairs workshop) informed us that they are taking the required amount on the basis of advice of appraiser.

It may be informed that the car was in perfect condition before the journey as tested at M/S Pearl Honda, NOIDA vide invoice no. 1107192 dated 25 Jan 2012. The accident caused the damage & insurance company is responsible for reimbursement for repairs as per laws.

Bajaj Allianz — Force Issuance of Insurance

Sir

This was a complete shock of my life.

I had purchased a washin machine in september 2009 from samsung. I took a 0% finance scheme from Bajaj Auto Finance for which i had given thme 8 PDC's

But to my shock and surprise on 28th oct i recvd a envelope from Bajaj Allianz that there is a Group Insurance policy has been issued to me of Rs 100000 for which i need to pay Rs 469 per month for another two years.

My concern is that if i never signed any insurance doc and was not given to bajaj allinaz then how can a policy be issued to me. When i spoke to the people in Bajaj as per them there were docs recvd by them even thogh i never signed any docs.

So i would request you to please look in to the matter as i am not getting any proper response from Bajaj Allianz or Bajaj Auto.
