[Resolved]  Hp 540 Notebook Pc — not repairing my hp 540 notebook pc under warranty

Sir i have purchased Hp 540 PC Notebook Srl No CNU8360NN8 SKU-FS300AA#ACJ FROM Ons Computers, 74 Pawan Bela Market, Opp Income Tax Office Saharanpur-247001 Ph No [protected] on 17 Dec 2008 with one year national warranty. I am presently posted in Srinagar (J&K). On 19 Oct 2009, DVD drive not functioning of my Laptop for which I have complaint to HP customer care at Ph No [protected]. case has been registered by hp vide their case id [protected] and advise to report HP Customer care M/s Micro clinic Pvt ltd, ranawari chowk, Srinagar Ph No[protected], I have visit to Customer Service center on 21 Oct 2009. After chacking record of My Laptop in HP Online system, Service Engineer has tell me that your service warranty has already been expired on 14 Oct 2009, I have show and given photo copy of Bill/Invoice Book No 15 Serial No 723 dated 17-Dec-2009 to the service center. Next day phone call received from service center that HP co demanded distributers computerised copy of Biil/Invoice under which the same laptop purchased by Ons Computer from authorised distributor, for which I have contact through Ph to Mr Aman, Ons Computer Saharanpur-247001 but they have not responded suitably, My Laptop still in defective condition and could not be repaired under warranty clause by HP. Please take suitable action and advise me what action can i take for repair my Laptop under warranty. thanking you Sir

HP — warranty clause

Dear Sir,

I have purchased a Laptop in September-2009, model - Proloms 4510(s), Sr. No. CNU9384DBP, Product code - VF952PA#ACJ. I am staying in Mysore.

Last week when I opend the notebook in my house, the display was not full, so, I have longed the complaint with complaint no -[protected] (Bangalore on 19.11.2009) as my notebook screen is not displaying and thing. Screen look white and scattered but no external damage. Against the complaint, HP engineer visited my work place and stating that this is physical damage. He said he will give the quotation for repair and the approximate cost will be Rs. 15,000/-.

HP engineer is stating that the internal damage happened with the screen is a physical damage. How it can be a physical damage if there is no scratch on screen or front side of notebook.

HP engineer is stating that the internal layer got damage. If the internal layer got damaged then how it is physical damage.

Physical damage should be external damage, which can be seen by naked eyes.

If you have any suggestion please let me know.

How the HP engineer can state that the internal damage in the screen is a physical damage. These all are the execuses given by generally by sub agencies of the main product.

THis type of matter must be taken seriously by main HP customer care.

i wanna complain aganist the hp service centre okhla new delhi. i got a tape drive with my prolaint hp server and since from the begning my tape drive dint work at all. then i came to hp service certre okhla and they told they will replace it within 5 days. after 5 days i called them up. they told we have orderd part for ur device and that dint came yet it will take next 5 days . then after 5 days i called them then they the part we orderd for the tape drive is wrong part we have to order it once again. they told me to call after weeks time. i called them after a week one other manager piked the phone and tome that i mlooking into the matter i will call u back after half an hour and give status. neither i reciver any call from that person . now they r not piking my phone. please help to sort out this issue. as i m not the resisedent of delhi i m am staying in a hotel ant it costs me huge amount.
