I Purchased Deskjet all-in-one Printer F2418 on 15.12.09 from Dwarka New Delhi. The Printer was never able to print or accept color cartridge showing defective cartridge. I complained to HP several times on phone and on webmail but they refused to rectify or replace. Indicate course of Action.

Dear Sir,
I purchased Deskjet printer F2418 from M/S Syscom Computer Service, Goal Bazar, Bilaspur(CG)-495001 vide I/V NO. AB004/14 dated 06.04.2010.Several time I have requested to send the technician for demo and also to set printer prperly, So that the printer can be used smoothly. But they have not sent technician till date.The said printer is under warranty, I need your help to over come the difficulties.

    HP/Compaq Laptop — Not received free gift yet

    I had purchased a laptop during Nov 2007. I had been assured of Free gift of Head Phone and Web camara.
    I had sent a mail regarding this.
    But the repeated message from HP side is only the non availability of the Items. What shall I do further.
    To whom else should I approach?

    HP/Compaq Laptop — zero service during waranty

    after 12 days of buying a compaq laptop in rourkela,orissa its display stopped working.for the past 14 days its with the service center.50 calls,many visits....even talked to their accounts manager located at kolkata.but nothing helped.its utter harassment and mental agony.they only respond at the time of taking ur money.please give some pointers that can help.

      I,WASIM AHMED MULLICK,purchased a HP Pavilion Dv-4 1318TU notebook on 24 day of september,2009 from E-MALL,kolkata.The case memo no is T8/3158.The serial no of the notebook is CND9324FSC.The TRANSACTION ID is required for upgrading my operating system to WINDOWS 7 but i cannot find this.I don't know what is TRANSACTION ID.I am sure that the case memo no is not TRANSACTION ID.Please tell me in details where fom i get the TRANSACTION ID. Please inform me as early as possible.
      i want to know where i can find the transaction id.pls let me know too.

          I had to collect my laptop from Hp service center, Bangalore. The customer service is rude, bitter, unpolite and unpleasant experience. I had not taken my job sheet but instead took the mail reference that was sent to me intimating about collection of laptop. It was not told to me anywhere in the mail that the job sheet is mandatory to collect the laptop. When I went there, I was first asked for the job sheet, when I informed them that I dont have it, they told me that I would still get my laptop if I give the serial number and product number. Once I told that, I was told to produce ANY id proof. Then, I produced my company id proof. As if that humiliation was not enough, some person who was sitting and working on a desktop made a terrible frowning face and told me that a government ID proof is required!! This is a good way to embarass genuine people. It was really sad to see customer care executives behaving in such rude manner. After that, another lady came in. She was even more rude than the person who was working on the desktop. She refused to accept my pleas and told me straightaway to get lost if I dont have a job letter. This is really uncalled for. This is the third time I was giving the laptop for service that too 3 times within 4 months. On top of that, they say company id card is not a good enough proof. Was it mentioned anywhere in their mail that job sheet has to be shown??? I am not sure if people sitting at the customer service desk are trained enough to handle different types of problems. If they would have told me in the beginnning itself that without job-sheet I will not be getting the laptop, I would have simply walked off! But they wasted 45 mins of mine, asking for all sorts of details!!

          have a flickring problem in my HP laptop screen since dec 09.Initially i took my laptop to BHOPAL(INDIA) HP service center(MP Nagar) on 26th december with warranty ending on 9th jan. but due to some reasons service engineers couldn't identify the problem. and they returned my laptop on 5th saiying if problem still persists you can come up again and it'll be counted as warranty case.in two days i went back as the problem was not over this time they identified the problem and give me a "Yellow slip" saying "PART PENDING" but they have never replaced that.. I dont have time to come up again and again to HP care as my jobs timings are that way..thats why i am writing..

          I have already registered complaint online with service request number-4439890. But giving some reasons no one is responding to my mails...plz. if you can i need to talk to some responsible person from HP!! I??

            Dear Sir,

            This is to inform you that since December 2007 when I have bought the HP-Pavilion-2601TX laptop from your shop, I have been facing the problems regarding hardware and software of this computer but today I would like to divert your attention towards the display system and related problems as well as the service provided by your centre.

            Around 15 days before, the display system of my laptop was repaired by your shop- Krishna Agency, Patna, but unfortunately it again got damaged within 1 day. So, I brought it again and it was repaired and I was assured by the service provider that there won't be any problem but AGAIN AFTER 1 DAY THE SAME DISPLAY HAS GOT DAMAGED.

            The worst part of all these experiences was that there were following changes in my laptop after it got repaired from your center:

            1. The battery now is charged only 73% in 15 hours and the percent charging remains constant even after it is plugged in. Apart from this just after when it was plugged out once, the computer got it's power off and with this the display also went. but earlier the battery was charged 100% within only 1 hour.

            2. The computer has got a breakage type scratch near touch pad above DVD player.

            3. The DVD drive does not open now.

            4. The computer is very slow now and hangs frequently.


            With all these complaints and experiences with your service centre , I request you to kindly consider my difficulties and suggest me now what steps should be taken to make my laptop better again.

            I would like to mention here that currently I am a student here in IIT Roorkee and I don't live in Patna.I would be highly thankful to your kind advices.

              I bought a Compaq-Presario CQ40 Notebook laptop, its serial number is-CND9382D1M, from karnal ,along-with it , there was a offer, of MOTO ROKR E8 mobile, for which one has to register online, which delivers a code, which confirms of being registered online and then one has to send a draft of Rs. 5499/- to Hp Redemption cell, and then the mobile will be sent to the respective person address, The last date of being registered online was 20th October 2009, and the last date to send the draft of Rs.5499/- along with all details was 20th November 2009, till now , i haven't got any mobile, and when i try to call them, their phone is always unreachable, The redemption code, which they provided online is Redemption Code- Q4SREW504B.Please help me, as i feel that, i have been cheated by them, their address, to which i send my draft and other details is as follows

              I had bought HPMpavilion laptop in the month of August-09 and i had sent the all the required documents along with the DD of Rs.5499/- infavour of Innovative Incentives & Solutons Pvt Ltd as they prescribed.Even afer 6 month, we could not trace the redemption online checking website.The website was built for enquire online abount the status of claim which is locked now..They have cheated us .

              Why don't local guy who is applied for claim can visit personally to HP redemption cell.
              Please let us know the fact.

                Sir,
                My name is B. Maurya.I purchased a new notebook of following details on 05/12/09.

                Model & Product No.:CQ61-312TU/VV284PA
                Serial No.:CNF9390L2B
                Dealer,s Name:Axis Computer & Periferals,O-5 Lajpat Nagar-II.

                I would like to draw your kind attention on the following points:-

                1. After one week of purchasing, its operating system stopped working.
                2. I went to the dealer on 15/12/09, but instead of solving my problem they directed me to Service center of Okhla Phase-I.
                3.But the service center (vide complaint no.:Token No.-L-14 dated 15/12/09) asked me to order the recovery disk from the call center and told me that they cannot do any thing.
                4.On the same date any how I contact the call center and ordered the recovery disk (vide complaint no.:[protected] dated 15/12/09).
                5.I received the recovery disk and again went to above said service center at 10:00 AM on 19/12/09. After wasting my whole day, at 05:00 PM they told me that the recovery disks are corrupted(vide complaint no.:Token No.L06dated 19/12/09).
                6.Their response was very unprofessional and asked me to again order the recovery disk and contact the call center.
                7.Then I again cantact the call center for recovery disk,but they told me that until unless service engineer does not inform them, they will not send the disk again. I request them but they refused me. Even they didnot provide me the complaint number.
                8.On 22/12/09 I again call the center (vide complaint No.-[protected] dated 22/12/09) and
                and they told me that I will receive the disk within three days.
                9.But till date and time I have not received any disk.My note book is still with the service center.
                10. I have also sent the e-mails and many reminders to the following higher officials of the HP company some of which are mentioned below:
                (a)Mr. Santokh Singh (singh.[protected]@hp.com) dated 28/12/09
                (b)Mr. Taranjeet Bedi (taranjeet.[protected]@hp.com) dated 28/12/09
                (c)Mr. Ashish Mishra ([protected]@hp.com) dated(29/12/09)

                But ot my utter dismiss alI is in vain.

                I am finding my self hopeless,helpless.Please look in to matter personally and help me.

                  Hello, this is Zahoor Ahmed from Srinagar J&K. I feel very regret to inform you that HP's service is very poor and they are very irresponsible, I have never expected such kind of attitude of HP towards their customer. I have a complaint against HP compaq. I purchased a loptop HP Compaq CQ60-104TU in March-2009 with XP preloaded. After 19 days i faced a hardware software trouble and i formated my system. when i Installed again a licenced windows XP professional SP2 it gave me some errors and i was not able to install it. I visited to the dealer and he again installed windows XP and told me that this is Image copy which i got from the company and you can not install original licenced XP on it. It is not a XP compatible laptop it is a Vista compatible laptop. Although I can't use Vista in my office because our company software works only on Windows 98 and windows xp. But XP is not working properly in this laptop neither all drivers are available in the hp website. And now 2nd problem is that my DVD stopped working and I went to HP service center on[protected] and as on[protected] my laptop DVD is pending there because the part is not available there. I am helpless as i am not able to use my laptop in my office because again i had a problem with operating system which i was supposed to repair but DVD writer is not available. Now i can't hold, i need replacement of my laptop with a XP compatible laptop otherwise i am going to knock the doors of consumer court and will publish an article and press notice in every news paper regarding the poor service of HP.....

                  practical, lawyer'll take money from u on every date that the Judge gives then opp
                  party'll also hire a lawyer rather than to help u, then both party's argumnts n case
                  runs don't know how much time. finally u won't get ur problem solved. So i suggest

                    Purchased laptop (HP Pavilion dv6-1204AU) on the month of november 2009 from 51-52, ground floor,Gedore House,Nehru Place New Delhi-110019.The E-drive stopped functioning so I went to HP Service Center. Address (Technoland Systems Ltd, A-2/77,Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi-110029) there the man told me it will take 4to5 days for a new E-Drive and now it's almost a month still they say that the company has not sent them so this is not done i am not at all happy with the service. It would be great i[censored] do something regarding this and i hope that you will solve my query as soon as possible.

                        A couple of months before there was a problem with my notebook charger(in warranty) so i got it replaced with HP Lucknow(RT OUTSOURCING SERVICES LTD. , DAYAL CHAMBERS)..i was in rush(i had a train the next day) so they handed me a charger before my new charger(which was to be shipped from Chennai) reached... the new charger was a 90 WATTS with SPARE PART NUMBER[protected] was different from my previous charger which was a 65 WATT adapter...After about 2-3 weeks my laptop failed to boot and start....i inquired HP customer care and found that that the new charger is INCOMPATIBLE with my notebook (and extended use of it may cause damage to my motherboard) and they told me my notebook is compatible with charger with SPARE PART NUMBER [protected].. This was further CONFIRMED in HP site( http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01550108.pdf ) .

                        The time being i was busy in my sems(my laptop went out of warranty by this time) and returned to Lucknow after 40-45 days..Now AS I WAS EXPECTING , HP Lucknow refuses to service my notebook and deny to accept that they handed me a wrong charger though i gave them various evidences and even showed them compatible list of chargers from HP site...

                        I REALLY REGRET THAT I SPEND MY PRECIOUS 40,000 BUGS ON A CRAP COMPANY LIKE HP...AND NOW THEY ACCEPT ME TO SPEND MY MONEY AGAIN FOR THE FAULT THEY DID...IT SUCKS.........!!!!

                        the worst case that i've ever seen...the screws of my hp laptop(pavilion dv6-cherry black) are becoming loose and some of them have already fallen down...similar cases have been found in my othr friends' laptops too(same model that has been mentioned)...i'm sure ther's something wrong with this model laptops that hav been sold last yr, i.e., oct, 2010.my laptop is stil under warranty period bt m nt able 2 get it serviced as i dnt want 2 rely on any other service centre other than that of lucknow as i've bought it from ther itself...not only this, the left hand side speakers hav also stopped working within 3 months of puchase...i'm not really satisfied with what i hav bought..ther is some or the other problem with this laptop as day are passing by n m nt being able 2 get it serviced becoz of my busy study schedule n also bcoz i stay out of lucknow...i hope i wil get a positive response from hp authorities for the case mentioned when i'm bak 2 lucknow in the coming month...

                          HP — Non receiving of laptop offer

                          This is K.E.N.Prasad,I took HP laptop in Visakhapatnam at Kolla Innovatives ltd.And its price 37000/-They told about offer components of 3500/-i.e 4gb flash driver,head phones and others.At the time i was sent all the documents to HP company though mail.And i got confirmation from HP team that you will get soon your offer accordingly,But as of now i didnot get my offer.I called so many times to Kolla Innovatiives at visakhapatnam they did not give any reply So kindly help me and give me right suggestion and to whom can i approch.Please do the needfull.

                            I purchased HP Pavilion Laptop DV5-1102TO (Sl No. CNF84411D3) on 25 Feb 09 through Creaitive Systems, GIC Link Road, ithoragarh (Uttarakhand) (Reg No. FYPTS 5475) vide their invoce No 726 dated 25 Feb 09 for Rs. 45,500/- As per plan a home theater system was to be given to me as gift, for which I submitted a D/D SL N. 266855 dated 26 Feb 09 of SBI for Rs. 1499/- in favour of SOLUTIONS INTEGRATED MARKETTING PVT LTD, payable at SBI New Delhi (code No 07687). Even after my repeated request with local dealer, neither any answer is received nor the gift is received to me till date. Now the local dealder i.e. Creative System, GIC Link Road, Pithoragarh (UK) is giving any satisfactory answer. Last time when I asked him, he replied that `Forget about it'.

                                I had purchased hp compaq presario SG3770IL desktop S/N : INA9120GRH on 3/4/2009 at ALPHATECH SOLUTIONS, Alwarpet, Chennai- 600018. At the time of purchase, I was promised I will get the all-in-one printer from hp, if I sent a D.D for Rs 999/-. Likewise I sent a D.D No:969229 of Karur Vysya bank, Triplicane, Chennai-600005 for Rs 999/- on 16/4/2009 to Scheme Coordinator, HP NOW OR NEVER Desktop offer. C/o Innovative Incentives and Event Pvt Ltd. Chandigarh-160019. Till today, I have not received the printer though I have already complained to the hp company and the dealer- Alphatech solutions, Alwarpet, Chennai. The hp complaint I.D No:CCHSAP226542. Till today, I have not received any response regarding the complaint and I have not yet received the printer.

                                HP desktop computer — NOT LOGGING

                                It is loaded with Operating system Windows Vista.
                                On starting it asks for 25 digit code number.
                                Even after feeding the code number it does not start

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I have purchased HP Pavillion DV5-1102TU laptop
                                  INR 43386 /- on Dt 10-10-08, from Chroma Link raod Malad,Mombai.
                                  under 1 year warranty.
                                  S/n CNF83516MC.
                                  case no. [protected] (service call number)
                                  My laptop had some problem ( black spot on screen ) on 22-sept-09.immidiatly I had submitted it to HP authorized service centre Simtech Andheri on same day .

                                  The only remedy for this problem is to replace the screen. so they cited the it is physically damaged . actually it is not demaged.
                                  They have send quote for repairing INR 20062 /-. after long mailing discussion they had sent revised quote INR 16640 /- .which we have refused and taken laptop Back .

                                  They have sent 2 quotes it definatly means that even they knows that laptop has to
                                  repair under warranty .

                                  Above both the quotes were sent by PERSONAL Mail id id not end with "[protected]@hp.com".
                                  What i strongly feels is that They (Simtech Executive ) want to earn Money by cheating for LAPTOP UNDER WARRANTY.

                                  I have done lots of follow ups with them but they are not responding(4 reminders ).

                                  Pls look into this Matter.Pls call/mail me for more clarification / Evidance .

                                  We have never expected such things from reputed MNC Company like HP.

                                  I donot understand onething why HP authorised service center ( i.e. Engineers) don’t have any official e-mail on HP.com.

                                  All Email-id through which you are sending-reciveing emails are personal IDs like Gmail . ..

                                  Anyways Kindly resolve this issue on urgent basis as my warranty expiring 10/10/2009 .

                                  Or else will approach media and take necessary legal actions because this not tolerable, Laptops which are under warranty ,for that you are asking money and quotes you are sending is to through your personal IDs not though your HP registered IDs .

                                  My name is John Lucius.

                                  My laptop (model: NX 7300) problems are being handled by HP Service Centre —Simtech Computronics (P) Ltd.

                                  In this complaint report, I will try and separate the laptop issues from the service issues that I have faced during my dealings with Simtech, HP call centres and HP offices.

                                  REPAIR
                                  1. Early December, 2008, I submitted my laptop for service due to the appearance of lines on the LCD and because it would not power on. The warranty had expired 4-5 months earlier.

                                  The only option given to me was that the LCD panel would be replaced. I received a quotation of approx. Rs.24000 for LCD panel and batteries. As it was expensive and unaffordable for me, I decided to work with the AC power supply and change the LCD panel.

                                  2. When I finally came to collect the laptop and make the payment, I checked my machine (with the new display) with my power adaptor. It didn’t power on. It was confirmed by HP that my power adaptor was not working and that I needed to get a new one. As the power adaptor was expensive at the service centre, I asked for a dealer, who could supply me the piece. When I called the recommended dealer, he told me that he didn’t have spares and suggested another person at Grant Road. (Grant Road is approximately 1.5 hours, one-way journey for me.)

                                  3. At Grant Road, I got a new power adaptor for Rs. 1750. With the power adaptor, the machine powered up. However, new problems were discovered:
                                  • After 10-15 minutes of powering on the machine (with the power adaptor), the touch pad started displaying unusual behaviour. When I used the touchpad, the cursor was uncontrollable. It vibrated and selected wrong folders and clicked on wrong buttons. My work requires precision in handling the touchpad. So using it the way it was out of question.
                                  • Without the adaptor, the touch pad behaviour was normal

                                  It was not clear whether the problems were due to the power adaptor, the touch pad, some other unresolved issue and/or a new problem.

                                  4. To solve and fix the problem, I again took it to the same HP Service Centre. I discussed with the HP guys there at length about the issue. They were not clear about it themselves and asked me to submit the laptop along with the new power adaptor. This was registered as a new case for some inexplicable reason. It should have been identified in the first instance itself because I was told that if they find other issues, they would send me a quotation for those items as well.

                                  5. I received a call from HP office/call centre asking me approve the expenses for changing the touchpad. Wishing to resolve the problem once and for all, I approved.

                                  6. Then, I received a call a few days later saying that the part could not be sourced and that if I wished to I could collect the laptop. They said it might take a month or two to get the part.

                                  It has been approximately two months since I submitted the laptop for the first time; one that I bought about a year and half ago. At 36 thousand rupees, I could buy a new computer with a better configuration from any company. So far, I have incurred approximately rupees 24 thousand of expenses, a lot of stress, frustration, discomfort, inconvenience, loss of opportunities, waste of time and more money at the cyber café. What for? A laptop that doesn’t work properly.

                                  SERVICE and OTHER ISSUES
                                  For Case ID No. [protected]
                                  1. I was not informed about the Care Pack at any stage after my purchase of the laptop. I was told that HP informs its customers after the first three months after the purchase.

                                  2. After I had incurred the expenses for the replacement of the display panel, I was told by HP persons that my problem could have been solved if I took the Care Pack, which cost approximately Rs.5500. I spent Rs. 24000 (including travel and cafés). Nobody helped me with this information when I came to them with the problem.

                                  3. At no point have I seen a single person at your HP centre, Simtech Computronics trying to seriously do investigate a problem properly. The LCD lines/patches appeared inconsistently. At times, with a certain tilt of the panel, the screen was clear. So, the LCD screen had not damaged. So why was I being made to pay 2000 rupees?

                                  4. During the course of this case and my interactions with Simtech and other HP professionals, I have been given redundant numbers to contact for confirming information.

                                  I have made close to 100 calls. 80 of which didn’t get through because they were busy constantly or because nobody was picking up the call.

                                  5. After about 50 unanswered calls to Balasubramanium’s office (he was supposed to be in charge of the case, as per the mail) and a lot of misunderstanding on the part of HP service people, I asked Bala for a new quotation since I didn’t want the batteries along with the display panel. I wanted to ensure that my request was understood. To my horror, I received a mail from him sending me a quotation for the display panel and the batteries. There was no acknowledgement of any mistake on his part.

                                  6. Another day when I was at work, I got a call from HP at 5.30 pm asking me to collect my machine and make the payment that day. When I turned up at the service centre, they informed me that they could not deliver the laptop that day as a person in charge of collecting the money was not around (during work hours). If that was not the case, why wasn’t I told. I travelled 17 kms (one way and one hour) to get the laptop. All I heard was a ‘Sorry but we cannot do anything’.

                                  7. Approximately 53 days after I submitted my laptop, after I replaced the display panel, I got a call from an HP person asking me about the problem with my computer with regards to its display.

                                  8. My touch pad works (without the power adaptor), my power adaptor is an HP product that I bought recently on (27 December 2008). It charges the battery to the extent it can. So, why am I being told to replace parts. What is the basis of this quotation? Nobody is investigating anything properly. People come up with a cost and then ask me to take it or leave it.
                                  9. I have received calls and mails from HP including Balasubramanium either asking me to approve the touchpad, or the power adaptor. So what is the problem, touch pad or power adaptor?
                                  10. Recently, I was asked by a HP person, Mr. Nikhil Arora from Noida. He had begun with solicitation for the Care Pack. I explained to him about my problems with my machine and that it was still pending repair. He reassured me on two separate occasions that my problems would get solved free of cost by a Mr. Bhupender at Dadar. He called it a ‘favour’! Dadar is approximately 20 kms (one way and 1 hr and 15 minutes) from my place of work. Today, when I landed at the office, which happens to be Simtech again, Bhupender and other persons at that office told me that they cannot undertake the job because their office at Saki Naka is handling it. They also informed me that the part cannot be sourced by them if their Saki Naka office cannot source it.

                                  Then, why was I told to take my laptop to them?

                                  11. It is obvious to me that there is no coordination between the HP persons handling the case and people do not log issues properly. So I must have spent at least a few hours explaining the same thing to all and sundry and no fixes.

                                  I am a media professional. I bought a laptop so that I could do writing assignments and edit a film that I had shot the previous year with the advantage of being mobile. I resigned from my job at a TATA company in September so that I could completely focus on completing my film. I have limited financial resources and I had not planned for such a drain on my money and time. Instead of editing my film and getting work, I am stuck. My financial resources are depleting with these expenses and my energies are focussed and twisted on getting my laptop repaired.

                                  I do not wish to spend any more money on anything. It’s been a purely harrowing experience with HP. If you can’t source the part, give me a new computer of the same configuration or better, whose parts you will continue to source at no extra cost. But don’t keep me waiting for nothing.

                                  I think I have been sufficiently explicit in my explanations here and I do not want to be harassed by HP people contacting me to get another report for the 100th time. However, they can get in touch with me to inform me about the status.

                                  I have purchased the HP notebook on 15 December 2008 series DV5 1102TU serial numberCNF83831FW,
                                  i dont know what happen to note, one morning when i started it was giving problem and was not getting started up,
                                  so icalled up HP technical support they had give me caseID:[protected],
                                  and that case id was not resolved and i was told to submit the notebook to one of the service centre in PUNE and i thought that it will be resolved quickly, and was again give Case Id:[protected].

                                  I am a student at DAVIET jalandhar. I had bought a laptop from my college. HP company visited our college and were providing us a laptop with 4 years warranty. But now when we go to the HP service centre at kapurthala chwk, Jalandhar and we request for our warranty card then they say that we will not issue any warranty card for 4 years. They say that i[censored] hav any problem then you can come to us. Now problem is that if we are at anyother place from jalandhar, then we cannot get our laptop repaired from HP service centre in that city. Specially we need to go to jalandhar. So i would like to ask that what is the use of making Service centre everywhere if we need to go to place from where we purchased the product.

                                  HP India — Laptop Damage

                                  My laptop computer is a bit on the heavier side and its hinges used to creak a little bit whenever i used to open or close the lid or screen .But, one day while closing the screen the hinges on the left side broke completely thereby leaving me with a severely deformed and damaged laptop. Since it lost its portability factor i wasn't able to carry it to my college or elsewhere. I decided to get it repaired at the nearest service centre but disappointment awaited me, as i was told that it would be treated as a case of intentional damage. I was shocked to hear that i would have to pay a premium of 7000 INR to get my laptop repaired which had been damaged due to its inherently weak parts and that too, in a normal usage scenario.Besides their ignorance I was not attended to properly at the service center. They didn't even handle my laptop carefully, trying to open and shut the lid which further damaged the hinges.I was completely annoyed by the rude behaviour of the service center executives. I would like to mention the service center under consideration here: RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, Chandigarh.

                                  HP Laptop — lp damaged by hp service centre

                                  This is dhaval trivedi, i have HP laptop which is out of warranty, got a problem with lcd pannal.
                                  so i went to PRECISION INFOMATIC PRIVATE LIMITED VASHI (no 117-118 1st floor, vardhaman chamber sector 17) on 23 nov 2010
                                  Eng RUPESH told that lcd is to be replaced and it will cost 8500. i aggred.
                                  when i got back laptop on 29th lcd was fine and they created problem with my CD ROME.
                                  now they have spoiled my CD ROME.
                                  i called them up and he told me to visit.

                                  I bought a new hp laptop in august 2009, since then i have faced enumerous issues regarding the over heating issues, battery back up, charger etc , though these problems were considered in the hp services center but non of them were resolved , i find no way to complaint against the company. my money was all a waste, i m so much dissatisfied by the brand that i never ever suggest anyone to go for hp laptops.
                                  im very annoyed...frustrated...and dissatisfied .

                                  With Due respect i purchased HP PROBOOK 4410S
                                  serial number is CNU0232HQL with one year warranty.
                                  purchasing date is 9 september 2010,
                                  and my CD DRIVE is not working properly then for replacing my CD DRIVE we go to the HP service centre REDIGINITION in ranchi, on 8 september 2011,and my jobshit number is 2282.he takes my CD DRIVE and till now not response after 45 days he said to me your warranty is expired,so we can not replace your CD DRIIVE

                                      I have HP Pavilion a6640IN, bought on 22 Dec 08. This is under 3 year warranty.

                                      Complaint # CA0876564, 3-Dec09.
                                      Complaint # CA0879485 9-Dec-09
                                      Complaint # CA0882518 16-Dec-09

                                      The PC crashed on 3-Dec-09 and was diagnoised for RAM problem. It was replaced, and worked for 1 day. Again PC crashed and was diagnoised for motherboard problem. Replaced it and again it crashed after 1 day. Again they replaced both RAM and motherboard, formatted my system and again after 1 day, it crashed.

                                      Finally they said they need to replace the processor. I was not OK with this option since they said it will take 2 days.

                                      This brought my hopes down that it may not work even after replacing processor.

                                      For each compoennt replacement, I was made to wait 2 days to get replacement part from Chennai and wait at home for the engineer to come and replace.

                                      Like this, I have wasted 2 weeks and issue is still not fixed.

                                      On contacting HP, for replacement of the defective unit (since recurrent replacements of parts didnt work), they said they cannot replace the unit - though the warranty says it can be replaced:

                                      Refer section http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01457526.pdf page 3, para before Exclusions.

                                      Though my unit failed repeatedly inspite of changing various parts, HP is not ready for this option.

                                      I am not sure how long they will take to resolve this issue. Even if I agree for part replacement, I am not sure how many hours (<24 hours) PC will work.

                                      Motherboard — did not supporting RAM

                                      I purchased intel D945GCCR // BTCR71100GTZ AA D[protected] motherboard on 21/11/07 from HIMALAYAN TIMES PVT.LTD ,412A ,Forth Floor ,Chiranjiv Tower, Nehru place, New Delhi-19, Tel +[protected]. It is in warrenty priod, I have RAM NOT SUPPORTING problem with this motherboard, as per instruction from diler I mail [protected]@mailbox.intel for warrenty. they reply it, with

                                        This is to inform you that on 05/03/2009 I bought a Laptop from VINAYAK MULTISOLUTION (NAGAON/ASSAM) INDIA. But unfortunately inthe month of june'09 ther was a LCD screen leaking problem devoloped. In this way I within nine month I had to send my laptop to the service station four time(4) with other type of problem also. Now recently same LCD problem arrises.
                                        So, I requested to the service centre to replace my laptop with a new one but they have denyed. Therefore I would like to say, please take the appropiate step to replace the laptop within this December'09 otherwise I have no other option to go to the CONSUMER FORUM.
