[Resolved]  Hp — HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR BY HP SERVICE CENTER

I bought an HP Pavilion tx1218au Notebook PC on the first week of November 2007 from Mega Computers, Noida, India and started facing problems soon enough.

It occasionally used to hang in the initial days. Later, it started hanging and getting re-started on its own a midst of my work.
The problem kept on aggravating until one day when it finally crashed. I ran the recovery cd that I got with the package but in vain. I realized it was some hardware problem and gave it to the official HP repair center in Noida. i.e. Elite Business Machine Pvt. Ltd., D-43, 1st floor, Sector - 2, Noida. (Phone no.[protected]. They diagnosed it and told me that it had a faulty mother board and that they are replacing it.
A week later I got my laptop back from the service center. But within the first week of recovery, all the problems re-occurred and that too severely.
1. The very second day, its touch-pad stopped working.
2. Next day, it started producing frequent hangs and system restarts.
3. Finally it crashed.
4. I ran the recovery disk again, but the system crashed again.

I again went to the same service station and elucidated the problem.

Their engineer Mr. Amit Sharma and Ms. Shehnaaz, after 3 weeks of diagnosis, replaced the mother board again. When I asked them to explain me the problem, they simply refused!! However Mr. Sharma assured me that I won't face the problem again. But the very next morning, my laptop crashed again. I again had a talk with Mr. Sharma and Ms. Shehnaaz but they are not even aware of the issue. They don't exactly know about the problem. They want me to carry my laptop again to them.

I'm highly dissatisfied with the product and the service center quality. My business work has taken a serious blow because of the in-efficient machine. Past two months brought completely traumatizing experiences for me only because of HP.

I would request you to replace it with a new laptop so that I can start enjoying my work without any crash. I believe that HP will take the issue on priority and will provide me the satisfying solution.

i have purchased Hp mini notebook on 25th jan 10 and soon i getting problems in it. In the month of September, it start giving me problems. I submitted it to HP SERVICE CENTER, Gopal tower, Jaipur but they Did not gave me response at all... they submitted my laptop but did not turn me up even a single time...everytime i called up and they used to say ur laptop part is avaited...it will come by tomorrw but there tomorrow never come.. Today is 11th of Oct. but still i did not get my laptop. really, i m fed up of it and if i dnt get my laptop in 2 days. i will take legal action...i will sue them in Consumer Court.

HP — Non function PC

Complain lodged with HP on 10th Oct2010. Vide Case ID no: CA1010991. They only call over phone to resolve the issue. So far they have not attended to it. PC is now non operative. This short of services never expected from HP.

HP — Frequent problems in parts.

I bought my hp pavillion dv6000 series laptop in Aug,2009, with 1 year warranty. I bought it for Rs. 56,000 from DD peripherals,Begusarai (BIHAR). Begining from the 1st month of its usage i have had problems in almost every part of it. I got its warranty extended for further 2 years. Till now the following parts have been replaced.
1) Power adaptor
2) Disk drive
3) Mother board
4) Cooling fan
5) Heat sink
I have to visit service center every 2-3 month. Sometimes they say its OS problem, then after going 2-3 times when I insist them to check it once again. Then they order 1 part and after some time another part goes wrong. I am a college student. I am fed up of changing every part now and then and doing to and fro from service center to college. I have still 9 months of warranty left. I want my laptop to be replaced with a new one.

HP — Not received the promotional gift

I have purchased a HP original Ink. There was a promotional scheme mentioned on the wraper of the cartridge. "WIN EXCITING GIFT WITH EVERY PURCHASE". By registering the 20 digit code found on the cartridge pack on www.hp.com/in/ink.

I have also registered the same on 19.07.2010 and won a HP Printer F4488 AIO. I have also written a letter on 31.08.2010 to "[protected]@hporiginalrewards.com" which is official ID for the rewards and got a reply that it is in proccess and iI will get my gift award within a week. But till date I have not recieved the same.

Now I writting for my winnig award to them but getting no reply from there side.

Please suggest what to do.

I purchased a Notebook HP Mini 210-2010TU from Gadgets & Gizmos HP World, Great India Place, Noida, U.P.

They Offer me a scheme of Adidas gift voucher worth Rs. 2000 But they mention the wrong date on notice board of availability of scheme.

This scheme was available only for notebooks, those purchased from 8th october 2010 to 10th november 2010 but the store manager mentioned that scheme has extended to 14th november 2010 and selling the notebook to many customer.

But this scheme was not extended to 14th november and i taken this notebook only due to this scheme availiability.

HP — Issue getting free gifts from HP after buying a Compaq laptop

I had purchased one Compaq Presario laptop CQ42-176 TU from Perfect computer solutions,Bellandur,Bangalore dt. 13/11/2010,as per the scheme for Festival offer. According to the owner Mr Vinod, the free gift item i.e. Adidas gift voucher of Rs. 2000/- was to be sent to us directly by the HP India by post within a few days after registrating on their site. I have registrated with number 2252993 and then sent all valid documents.

After 10 days of follow up, HP people replied that their offer was only till 10thNov while the Distributor claimed that it was till 15thNov. The same is yet to be received and sorry to say that the after sales queries/concern are no matter for them. They are not even helping to charge the distributor if he is selling the products beyond the scheme claiming that it's in the scheme and they are not at all updating on the HP site till when their offer is valid. As this information is only known to the distributors, together the company; they are making people buy their product and not at all sending the gifts telling some or other stupid excuse like this. For sure, I'll have all my relatives and friends aware of this fact and ask them instead to buy Sony laptops.

I Have all in one printer model Desk-jet F370 today i gave it for repair due to non recognizing the cartridge.They have charged me Rs.300 for service and Rs.850 for changing the carige.in presence of repairman it was working but when i connected to my pc its showing same problem as before.

HP — MONITOR

My HP Monitor w1907 lost its display about 45 days ago so I immediately called up the service center, Redington India Ltd (based in Okhla), they replaced the power board but the problem persisted.After many complaints and phone calls, they changed the LCD panel too.Also I got to know that all parts are refurbished and not new. Now after all these days, after multiple replacement of parts, the company has decided to give me a royal ignore. I think they they are waiting for the warranty period to get over. It's really pathetic how an international, well reputed company like HP is treating its customers. I sent an email to Neelam Dhawan, MD and yet no response. I had also written to the Director of the company but that too, garnered no results. Now I am stuck with a dead monitor which had cost me a bomb. Shame on you, HP!!
