last year[protected] i bought a hp pavilion laptop worth Rs.44,200/- . And HP offers DIWALI GIFT DIGITAL CAMERA(10 Mega Pixel) . And HP ask me to register my product on HP and i am register my product and they provide me one REDEMPTION CODE. And to receive gift they ask me to provide sufficient documents and DD worth Rs.990/- to send to NEW DELHI . And i am sent all required information. And till[protected] i am not yet receive any gift or answer . So please answer me the status of the sending digital camera and i provide required information below

pavilion dv5 — not receiveing the gift

sir,
as i purchase the hp laptop 2 months back & register for gift on the same days.but till now i have not received any gift or any cinfirmation from your side.
so plz kindly do something in this regard.

pavilion dv5 — catalyst host application error & about slow processing

1st problem is that, when we start the laptop, then there is a small window size same as that of copying window is occured.
The window is showing that some program not working properly and window closing the program and again second time the same window is occured.
2nd problem is that my laptop's ram is 3GB but it's processing is really slow & it's processing is like that of 1GB ram, my every friend do not believe that my laptop ram is 3GB becauuse of it's slow processing.
So please give me the solution of these two problems.

      Hello

      I have HP laptop with Windows Vista Premium. The hard disk has recovery partition. I was also given the system recovery DVDs at the time of purchase.

      Some days ago, the hard disk was giving problems. So it was formatted. When I tried to do the system recovery using the DVDs I got error "This PC is not supported by the system recovery DVDs".

      I spoke with Microsoft. They said I should go to HP as it is the hardware problem.

      I spoke with HP (Madhuri Melekar). She says we not help as we do not give any software support.

      I am not helpless without the OS though I am the legal owner of the Windows Vista Premium.

      Please help.

        We bought a Hp pavillion DV4 in May 09 from Jumbo Electronics , Noida . Now this Laptop has Windows Vista Home basic loaded which does not seem to work at all.This has made my life miserable . And your customer care is pathetic!!

        You are trying to fool customers by selling product which only looks good!!
        My machine is registered under sr no; CND9063427
        and the P/n is ": NLO92PA#ACJ
        Hp guys keep calling for feedback but do not seem to acknowledge complaints. This is the way customer care treats its customer.

        The system gets hang all the time, with no document names getting changed to almost my laptop behaving crazy.
        I want this OS to be removed , and loaded Windows 07 free of cost from Hp.Hoping to hear from you guys. I am currently in Bhubaneswar in Orissa. Let me know where can I go and get this damn machine fixed free of Cost as it is still under guarantee

          I have been spending time collecting ticket nos. and case nos. Even after over at least 10 calls however no action has been taken by HP and the problem still remains.

          I am in the business on printing photos and I am loosing customers and money.

          At this juncture I must add that there is a lot of communication gap in HP. Every time I complained I was told to contact Redington at Tirupati Teletech, Janki Apartments, Inner Circular Road, Bistupur, Jamshedpur – 831001. This Tirupati Teletech refused to accept my complain. I conveyed this to HP they refused to understand. Subsequently after various phone calls i was told to contact another co.

          What is even more surprising that even after purchasing a care pack Iam told that the machine is out of guarantee?

          It is sad that a co like HP is behaving in this manner with its customers.

          Please urgently look into the matter.

            compaq 610 — battery problem

            sir,
            i buy compaq 610 laptop one year ago.now i get some problem with the battery and i replaced a new battery then the battery is charged in serice center then then i discharge the battery then i connect the charger pin the battery is not charging please sent me the answer

              I am forced to write this mail because my laptop which was submitted to TechnoLand in Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi, India has caused a great deal of harrasment.

              The Service number is T910/N52. My customer id number is: C29703. Model Number CQ40 and serial number: CND8362CJW/F2.

              I submitted this laptop on the 6th of Oct, 2009. Till 14th Oct, the status was under service and on 14th EOD, they ordered for a motherboard.

              On 16th-Oct, I was told that the motherboard that was ordered was not the correct board and the correct board has been ordered again.

              On 23rd Oct, I got back the laptop and when I came back home I saw the laptop does not show any harddrive when it boots up or while installing Windows Vista.

              I submitted the laptop again to the same service center with the assurance of the Managing Director of Computerland on the 30th of October. Till date there is no response from them on the same.

              I bought this laptop on the 26th of September, 2009 and till date I have not been able to use it even for a day.

                On 15 oct 2009 I purchased HP Compaq 610 V model laptop from Home Town, Rajarhat , Kolkata, West Bengal-700156(cash memo number-T69/39). Details of laptop are as under:

                When I purchased the laptop it was a festival season and when I asked to check the laptop which was in sealed package I was told by salesman Mr Gopal (Mr Abhik roy chowdhary the Departmental manager was also present) that there is no need to worry and in case of problem they were there to help.

                On 21/22nd Oct 09 I found the battery indicator showing only 95-97% charging and the indicator showing “plug in , not charging”. I took the laptop to home town shopping mall and intimated the problem. Mr Abhik(Departmental Manager) and one of the salesman convinced me that it was programmed by the company itself like that and need not worry. He also told me that since no service engineer is available in home town I should show the laptop to service centre because there duty/responsibility was upto selling the item only. When I told that it was there duty to deliver the item after proper checking by consumer only then I was told that I should have checked it and the whole blame was put on me.(Even though I had not checked the laptop in good faith as per request of salesman gopal (as there was rush in the mall on that day)

                On 31st oct 09 I tried to run the CD given with a sony camera but it could not be read by the drive. Same CD was running in other laptop. On 2nd Nov 09 I went to service centre at Kolkata where the engineer also checked the drive and found it defective and kept there for 4-5 days for checking and repair.

                On 4th Nov 09 I received a call from HP service centre that the DVD drive is defective and it requires replacement for which they had sent demand to chennai and same will be replaced on arrival which will take minimum 7 days.



                Now this information from HP service centre is a proof that the laptop was defective and had it been allowed to check that would have been replaced by ezone there and then only. It is my humble request that this laptop be replaced by a new one.

                  I do not agree with this persons remarks. i have received all the items and all in good condition. may be his parcel was mishandled by the courier company.
                  Pls do not disgrace any company like this. I have received all the components of my hamper totally intact and working. I think you sould catch hold of the courier company as they are the ones who are responsible for the delivery of items.

                    I have made a call to hp on 28/10/2009 morning (case No.[protected]/[protected]). regarding non working of my HP 100 Plus Plotter. after hunders of call to HP and their service partner M/S. RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, located in Ghaziabad. The engineer visited in my office on 2/11/2009 and handed over a report that some small part is broken and need to replace on chargeable bases. As the my buisness had been held up I agreed, although it was an internal part and should be cover in warranty/AMC. Till now HP is not able to solve the problem and set right the machine in order. As per condition of AMC the machine should be setright in maximum 48 hours.

                    Due to delay in service I spent huge amount in markent to execute the work. It is requested that machine should be set right promptly and hp should company should compensate me for loss of my professonel hours as well as money spend in market for same work done

                      This mail is regarding the complain which I want to file against the HP service center “maha electronics pvt ltd. No .28-8-2, 1st floor, 15th cross, 3rd block, jayanagar, Bangalore-56011.”

                      I have a HP notebook 540 in which I faced a serious battery problem on 30 /10/09, and I went to the HP service center jayanagar for the replacement of my battery, but the person concern MR ali along with his team members insisted me to bring the invoice of my notebook in order to replace the battery and register my case, despite they have changed the battery of 4 people of my college prior.

                      If rules are there then they cannot come all of sudden I have all the evidences to prove that they have replaced batteries without taking the invoice ,but as I respect the procedure the very next day I brought the invoice copy and gave my notebook which was accepted then .

                      The same day in noon I got a call from a personal number that sir your warranty was only till[protected] sorry your battery cannot be replaced rushed to the service center again spoiling a lot of money in auto all and all that, I met HP service guys they said they dint make any calls, then a person came and told me that according to your invoice your battery cannot be replaced as your warranty has expired on

                      26-08-09 I have evidence that the same service center has replaced a battery taking a notebook on

                      22-09-09 cases no nb0922-017. If the warranty was expired on 26-08-09 then how can he change the battery after one month of expiry .and I have the evidence, and the warranty according to HP records is till Nov 9 2009 .

                      The service guys are making silly excuses that they cannot do anything and they are blaming HP for this issue ,that HP has asked us to not to take any battery complaints. So I took my notebook back when they said that nothing can be done, and today after two days taking the notebook back on 2-nov -2009 I am receiving a message from HP that my complain has been registered with a case ID- #[protected] ref NB1031-019. I have come to know that the same day they have taken a notebook of the same college whose warranty was expired on 26-08-09.

                      I take this case as a case of harassment, baseness and humiliation caused to me by HP service guys.

                      Now I cannot trust anyone in that service center as all of them are rude, non cooperative, liars.

                        I am giving you the brief of my case :

                        1.(a) I purchased an Printer HP Printer L 7380 serial no MY 871830 XS on 6.09.2008, with new packed cartiges in the box.

                        1. (b) In July on checking this L 7380 Printer, we found that it had problem, so we sent the same to HP Care centre here at Jaipur and there request no is ININ[protected] dated 7.7.2009.

                        1. (c) Your Office (HP) found that printer had many problems so they immediately replaced the same by other unit whose serial no is: MY853821OF.

                        1. (d) Now the cartridges which was installed said to have ink finished off.
                        I made an complaint that since we have not used this printer as it was a stand by arrangement and that printer was also a wrong Piece sold by HP to us and it had consumed cartridge at an abnormal speed rather then a normal speed as claimed by Hp and its vendor while selling this product to us.


                        2.. On 8 Th AUgust I made an complaint to your Call centre and had also send an email the copy of thew same is enclosed as below.

                        3 On 12 th september i had received an email with reference no CCHSAP 227885 from Mrs. Saini and Mrs. Tanuja.

                        4 They wanted my telephone nos and i immediately send the same by email. They also contacted me on phone and informed me that they shall revert back in 2 days.

                        5 . On 6 th October i have receievd an email from Tanuja Saini

                        In This email they have confirmed to send 1 set of cartidges.

                            my laptop is in warranty period, i bought it on 31/01/09, after using it for only 4 mon it was not working properly, but some how i was managing it, now on 27/10/09 screen got totally blank and there was no display, i went to the service centre and they said that the part which has been damaged is not available and it will take time, without laptop its immpossible to work, my lots of work got pending. please consider and solve the problem as soon as possible. i have given my laptop at the following service centre :-saligram automobiles, r.n.c path (mancotta road ), dibrugarh 786001 .

                              Respected Sir/Mam,

                              My name is Sukhwinder Singh and i did purchase the laptop under Business Series model 6730S with SNo. CNU84311MH.. Product Code: KH339AV
                              After 8 Months usage i got a strange problem with my laptop.
                              When the battery was fully charged and i use it on battery and on doing some intensive heavy works.. The laptop used to shut down suddenly in just under 5 mins and the battery level used to go to 0% and on again plugging in the Charger and Plugging it out it again shows the actual capacity left before.

                              For Example: If my Battery was 100% and when i do some heavy load task just after 5% decrease in battery level it used to shutdown suddenly without warning and the Low Battery light used to glow up and the battery level used to goto 0%. And when i plug in the charger at that moment and again unplug it it again shows that 95% battery is left. Means the battery circuit is not able to detect itself correctly. I checked this battery with the other laptop i have and the same problem was present in that too. Means the problem is with the battery and not the laptop.

                              The second problem was that my DVD Writer was not able to Write DVDs and CDs.

                              I gave it to my nearby service center:

                              I gave my laptop on 09/10/2009 and when i called on 26/10/2009 they said that they are not getting my Slip so they will call me back but they didn't call me so i called them again the next day that is on 27/10/2009 and after waiting for a lot of time..
                              They said that they had fixed the problem with my laptop and when i asked them what had they done they said that they had Repaired a fault with my motherboard.

                              Now on 29/10/2009 they are saying that they have used the Software HP Battery Check and if it doesn't show that the battery is in warranty they can't give the warranty Although the Software is showing the Battery to be replaced. In full charge and normal work my laptop is just able to keep up for 50 mins and on some heavy task it goes down in under half an hour.. What should I do now.. ???

                              They haven't yet replaced my DVD-Writer and they were asking me what was the fault... What is this ???

                              I can't understand what kind of Engineers do HP recruit who don't know which problem should be checked and from where.
                              And moreover its already more than 20 days i have given my laptop.. and they are saying that it would further take a week more..
                              Whats this ??? I think i did a mistake buying a HP Laptop... Have I ???

                                i m having an issue for not updating my hp care pack certificate which i purchased on 11/25/2008 but now
                                at the present tie my warranty is not updates to your hp database by this problem
                                when i call to hp customer care they saying that we can't do anything or any step for
                                your printer issue because your printer
                                is out of warranty and when i say that i purchased hp care pack 3 year
                                extended warranty pack then they r saying that please mail the
                                hp care pack document to miss niati kakatiya at "peace.of.[protected]@hp.com" and the
                                telephone number is[protected].i mail to miss niati kakatiya two times but there is
                                no response from her side i even call top him around 4-5 times but every time i call to
                                her she is not available on there desk and a answering automated call is started for message
                                leaving even i left a message for my problem but no one is there for sorting my problem .i m daily
                                suffering from heavy lose for which hp is responsible and arm serve company is responsible from
                                which i purchased the hp care pack.

                                  SIMTECH COMPUTRONICS (P) LTD located at Kothrud took 8000 Rs from me for Two yearCare Pack and said I will recieve the certificate online after some time. I didnt recieved the certificate even after 2-4 months and keep contacted back. I was provided with a confirmation and screenshot from HP site that this is my warrenty number.

                                  Now after one year when I went back to them they are saying I dont have a care pack and its not activeated. They are asking me to pay for services even though I paid 8000 Rs and too care pack which already covers all repairs. Its TOTALY FRAUD with HP and these guys are doing and when I wrote complaint to HP nothing happened.

                                    Sir i have purchased Hp 540 PC Notebook Srl No CNU8360NN8 SKU-FS300AA#ACJ FROM Ons Computers, 74 Pawan Bela Market, Opp Income Tax Office Saharanpur-247001 Ph No [protected] on 17 Dec 2008 with one year national warranty. I am presently posted in Srinagar (J&K). On 19 Oct 2009, DVD drive not functioning of my Laptop for which I have complaint to HP customer care at Ph No [protected]. case has been registered by hp vide their case id [protected] and advise to report HP Customer care M/s Micro clinic Pvt ltd, ranawari chowk, Srinagar Ph No[protected], I have visit to Customer Service center on 21 Oct 2009. After chacking record of My Laptop in HP Online system, Service Engineer has tell me that your service warranty has already been expired on 14 Oct 2009, I have show and given photo copy of Bill/Invoice Book No 15 Serial No 723 dated 17-Dec-2009 to the service center. Next day phone call received from service center that HP co demanded distributers computerised copy of Biil/Invoice under which the same laptop purchased by Ons Computer from authorised distributor, for which I have contact through Ph to Mr Aman, Ons Computer Saharanpur-247001 but they have not responded suitably, My Laptop still in defective condition and could not be repaired under warranty clause by HP. Please take suitable action and advise me what action can i take for repair my Laptop under warranty. thanking you Sir

                                    HP — warranty clause

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I have purchased a Laptop in September-2009, model - Proloms 4510(s), Sr. No. CNU9384DBP, Product code - VF952PA#ACJ. I am staying in Mysore.

                                    Last week when I opend the notebook in my house, the display was not full, so, I have longed the complaint with complaint no -[protected] (Bangalore on 19.11.2009) as my notebook screen is not displaying and thing. Screen look white and scattered but no external damage. Against the complaint, HP engineer visited my work place and stating that this is physical damage. He said he will give the quotation for repair and the approximate cost will be Rs. 15,000/-.

                                    HP engineer is stating that the internal damage happened with the screen is a physical damage. How it can be a physical damage if there is no scratch on screen or front side of notebook.

                                    HP engineer is stating that the internal layer got damage. If the internal layer got damaged then how it is physical damage.

                                    Physical damage should be external damage, which can be seen by naked eyes.

                                    If you have any suggestion please let me know.

                                    How the HP engineer can state that the internal damage in the screen is a physical damage. These all are the execuses given by generally by sub agencies of the main product.

                                    i wanna complain aganist the hp service centre okhla new delhi. i got a tape drive with my prolaint hp server and since from the begning my tape drive dint work at all. then i came to hp service certre okhla and they told they will replace it within 5 days. after 5 days i called them up. they told we have orderd part for ur device and that dint came yet it will take next 5 days . then after 5 days i called them then they the part we orderd for the tape drive is wrong part we have to order it once again. they told me to call after weeks time. i called them after a week one other manager piked the phone and tome that i mlooking into the matter i will call u back after half an hour and give status. neither i reciver any call from that person . now they r not piking my phone. please help to sort out this issue. as i m not the resisedent of delhi i m am staying in a hotel ant it costs me huge amount.

                                      I HAVE TAKEN A LOAN FOR LAPTOP FOR THE MONTHY PAYMENT OF 1993.00 FOR TWO YEARS AND THEY PROMISED ME TO RETURN THE RS 8000/ TOWARDS AS THE SCHEME IS OF MONEY RETURN POLICY. BUT THE POSITION IS I DIDNT PAID FROM THE MONTH AUG AS I DIDNT GOT THE MONEY RECIEPT FROM THE COMPANY FOR WHICH I PAID FOR THE MONTH JULY. AND ACCORDING THE COMPANY Rs8000/- WILL BE ADJUSTED TO WARDS REPAYMENT OF SEPT,OCT,NOV AND DECEMBER.
